That's it into the R F. K traffic is jammed there because the right line is blocked. We were already jammed on the South out Harlem River drive past the bridge, and that delay extends all the way down into 71st Street. Now, the inbound R F K is becoming very just pleased with some very slow traffic over the span. Meanwhile, the inbound Lincoln and Holland remain at a solid 15. The inbound George is 10 minutes. Now we are very heavy on westbound Route 80. We've got construction in Jersey on 80 both ways between 39 Engine 43 for 2 87 The right line is closed until a m. On the westbound delays go back to Beverly Road Still, and NJ Transit Matt Morrison Essex Rail Line Service has resumed between summoned over both ways. "In England me Evan Roberts today at two o'clock we will talk to the former tremendous first baseman for the New York Mets and now you know it was a TV star Keith Hernandez plus the former head coach of the New York Jets com Edward he joins us as well and a lot of reminiscing it's putting on Roberts in the afternoon right here on the fence with radio one one nine FM for trivia sixty six W. F. A. N. and W. F. and F. M. New York continue that trend of talking to legendary Mets players as Darryl strawberry the former rookie of the year the four time World Series champion the eight time all star and former Yankees well obviously is is good enough to join us that was a baggy show right here on WFAN Daryl a good afternoon how are you doing and I I can't imagine how disappointing it must've been when you saw that the baseball season was going to be postponed all be it for you know obviously a reason out of our control but is that disappointing nonetheless well good afternoon to you guys and I'm just my prayers and thoughts are with everybody in New York City or what's going on up there you know that's home for me and I'm just thinking about everyone as they go through this very difficult time and of course you know baseball season was expected to be started and you really can't do anything but you know hopefully thank you know that things will get better moving forward no one expected us to be in these times that we're in right now but we are you know the thing about it we all in it together and we just got to do what's best and you know you you see everything will dance shut down there it's a good thing because I had not and fall season one on you know you got so many young kids coming to the ballpark yeah course adults are but you have so many young kids come to the ballpark and you wonder what what what happened to their life you know at this time if you know being a ball park and you know people being sick and and and things happening the way they have you know the coronavirus is shut down all of us completely and you know I've been traveling for the last ten years like two hundred fifty times of the year and shut down the shut in to so you just have to figure out some new things and and do some new things how are you and your family do and how you guys hold up down we don't well we we are in Missouri so levitate lower so it is not as bad as they did in so many other places like New York and California and Washington does place isn't bad really bad hit real hard Illinois so far you know we had probably nine hundred cases here everybody gets safe of course at the same time you you are at your gather together as family you just need to reflect on what's important at this time and I think that's what we all have to think about as a country what's really important is is people getting well because so many people are losing their life right now Darryl strawberry's our gas in there I know your faith is really important to you it and also your recovery and you've been sober now for seventeen years and and you know I'm just curious for someone who is battling addiction during this time where it's stressful or people are isolated you know what is the message that you would have to them and how difficult could this time be for someone who is struggling with their sobriety what it's worth well once they connect they would first what I need to stay safe and don't quit don't give up you know stay in the mess of we cover right now I know it's a hard process but this is this is part of the party you getting well and I would encourage them with that part more than anything it is just not give up and and I think the support group of of people is is very important to them right now loved ones you know it reaching out and just just letting them know that you know they they leverage their form at this particular time even though you may have been through some difficult times with them we all are in the midst of difficult times right now AS trustee build a Larkin and and that are making their way to a new way of life it's a recovery which is a hard process and just be willing to talk about your feelings and be willing to journal and write things down all right now why you alone and you spent time with yourself and when you pick up the phone pick up the phone to call the right people not the wrong people that's that's what's really important for someone who is struggling right now you know down for those that have not struggled with sobriety you know how difficult is it for someone that's been through it you know everything that you just mentioned you know how difficult of a journey is it well it's a very difficult journey you know at the beginning but you know that that comes that comes along with what addiction is all about you know this very hard I think people understand what it's like the the go through that process and and finally start getting on the other side so I I tell people all the time give yourself a break I feel sad but what is happening in our country the epidemic that we are covered in this country with opiates and heroin that's killing all our young people now is like never before is because the young people are antisocial and so you know the social media driven there the communication skills are not good you have to be able to really have some kind of communication skills when you're going through this whole process and you have to be able to talk about you know what you still like and and and you have to reflect on a lot of the things that you've done in the past a lot of times people don't want to look at you know the people they heard in those important things important step so it's really hard and in the midst of all this work everything is shut down and workers stopped in life you stopped in their program to stop and and people are out people are gathered together to help you job I think is a zero point for those who are in the midst of the picture right now Darryl strawberry's our gas and his wife Tracy as as ministers and who are helping to fight this opioid epidemic that is ravaging our country now obviously new stress on top with this corona virus pandemic in you know Daryl I think for all of us who who watched you and love watching you play baseball you know it's always so great when we see you doing all these amazing things right helping people telling your story you're living your sobriety and in a public way so that people can can learn from it and I think it's for as good as we feel for you is sometimes a sad as we feel for for doc Gooden when we see headlines like the fact that he got arrested twice in the span of six weeks last summer it is still struggling I know your relationship with him is kind of gone through ups and downs but you have you talked to recently it is he doing okay if you did talk to him yeah I mean our bodies are still in contact with in regards to what he's going through I've always tried to be encouraging I think that's the most important thing is just so much going on that you love and you have no other gender I think a lot of times out your other people may think you have a different agenda but I I don't I remember I got my life is good today because of my lovely wife she stayed close to me and she helped me get through the process you know like seventeen years ago she was pulling out of dope positive South Florida so this in past you but you know if you saw some good M&S is saying thanks have a seat and doc Gooden you know some great decided you know he's just a person that has struggles that had tried to deal with in a public eyes which is really hard because I had to deal with in the public garden they're not been really blessed you know because of my wife Tracy and and the friends that I've tried you are around me that was a recovery people like Ron docking people to stay connected to me and and they they just never they never gave up on me and that's the same thing happens in my life when I when I see the light you know we've we've we come from the same place you know I'll never give up on that would be one of those people that would turn my back on you yeah well I'd be hard at times yeah because of the love will probably help you get better you know because that's what helped me get better so I just remember the importance of who we are as people and you never forget people nine this has nothing to do with how great we were as baseball players you set out to do it if you were being who who have struggled to suffer just like on albums and years of other people that have gone through this process and you know you usually spills out of opportunity cherry masses and have a great message to help somebody else you know down with that being said what do you think doc needs right now I I really can't tell you know I mean I'm that you're really up to him in this whole process is and what he's going through I mean the connection our people are very important like I said usually surround yourself with a group of people who look at you and they are truthful to you don't look at people's voice smoke up your but and this makes me feel good because you're never going to get to where you need to get when you struggle with addiction or alcohol the people need people to be real with him and talk real life about thanks yeah there are strawberries are gas it's wise words you know I think for people like after we went to the steroid era Daryl I think that we kind of forgot you know with that in the eighties what that that's sort of you know how how rapid the cocaine use was especially a baseball and I'm just curious I mean was this more of like an open secret or did that did you know which guys were sort of having issues with cocaine and did they know about yours or was it everything very hush hush at the time there are they covered people knew a lot about different people and stuff like that I think everything was really harsh because people never really said anything you know about the drug use I mean I think drugs are always been a sports and always will our goal is always there you go instead of me will always there you know it's just a part of the time of the eighties when I was coming up there I just got caught up in the middle of it I wish I had not got caught up in the middle of it but I did and I had learned some hard lessons from it so I I think when you go through that process and and I realized that it was a part of your history what can you use the court can you use it for your advantage or can you use it should just make yourself believe it didn't happen you know and it did happen so I use it for my balance you know I take I take time off to go on all public schools you know all over the country and get for free to speak to kids and educate kids about the dangers of drugs and alcohol you know try to make them aware it can happen to you because it happened to me I would choose you know top class athletes who had it all but drugs became a part of part of my life and drinking became part of my life that took me down the wrong road so I'm trying to I'm trying to educate our younger people as I as I learned from what I've been through.

"Hi there everybody we're still here Evan Roberts here on a Saturday morning and afternoon till two o'clock call me Lou got our Tommy nice putting a lot of time talking to each other and hang it out now it's a great job yesterday filling in for dole which is not an easy job we don't how important gold is in lieu he stepped up to the plate and did a miraculous job I will get back to your calls a little bit David Meltzer will join me a little bit later on the state of WrestleMania what's going to happen with that but joining me right now guy big superstar now he basically runs a podcast conglomerate conglomerate if that's the right word get like fifty of them was down in spring training brought the Astros to their knees release the savages I think that's a fine description of his resume and that is jumbo jumbo Hey you've been I'm doing well thanks for having me what an intro are you sure was that a fair enjoy did I miss anything is the question well I think it's good I think so I mean fifty is a good number will get there some Hey it's not it's nothing wrong with over exaggerating in that regard no doubt I love it all right so first of all is the eighty fan what's going through your mind right now is somebody that probably looked at this season as we go in the World Series where will hope we're still going to have a season but as all this info is some get over the last few days that baseball's not coming for a while give me your thoughts well I'm a baseball fan just kind of bombed out right because my life is about to change once there's games every single day and I was excited about that too it helps the Yankees and I don't know for allowed to say that because it is a virus that's affecting tons of people but the fact that baseball's push maybe a month that does really help judge Paxton stand missed last time and that's a weird thing to admit I think but it's true and three it is a shortened season years from now will people remember it and count it as a black man who ever wins that then performs well I was trying to think back on that the basketball season that was a truncated season and who won that year and if anyone even remembers that it was that I have season you know just discredit anyone for winning this year is going to be another state now here's here's the way I look at it John boy first of all nineteen ninety five with a one hundred forty four game season the Braves won the World Series I don't think anybody things differently but when it landed the only thing we say about the truncated NBA season was that as the specifically the spur Nick one is that all the Knicks weren't really an eight seed and they got to an NBA finals other than that the spurs won a title so if we get any semblance of a regular season I think many years from now will remember we shorten the regular season battling to take anything away from the world champion right now good to hear I like that are there but you know it's just it's just the waiting time and so we start this up and I think it was I think it was all done that MLB said you know two weeks minimum why even give that time frame you're gonna have people in two weeks yelling at you again and it's not gonna be two weeks but I did like I said but we don't know how this is gonna play out we need to really think about it for awhile yeah that's true this is such a logistical nightmare Graham all be to figure out how they're going to do this schedule so take take all the time you're gonna have a month to figure it out and by the way there is there is because I think a lot of us are sports fans are doing the same thing we know the seriousness of what's going on but we also could admit Hey this benefits this team potentially these benefits that team I mean as a net fan Kevin Durant may come back to the playoffs now so obviously it's something on our mind I'll tell you the other thing besides the injuries that you brought up that can help the eighties if they start the season in June I don't think there's any way starting pitchers are going to be you know caught up all up for what it would be like for opening day the routine's been flown off completely they're not going to get nearly as much time to get ready for a season and I think it puts the importance on bullpens and we know one thing the exam I think over everybody else bro is that their bullpen is better than everybody else's so I think that's another area where this potentially could help the Yankees they're both going to be great I mean you know we had packed in and Severino go down and several missing a full season no matter what but back you should be good middle may June it should be very good and and that's a big difference in Canada and back no fifth pitcher I think they were going to kind of use in the opener and a bald guy there and we'll have a rotating cast of not your arms so in fact he comes back that kind of changes that you put Montgomery to the five back to the floor packed with interactive to three and I mean that's a much better on paper at least of a much better way to see things going for it does help I mean there's always things weren't part of the world of sports but that's what we love so that's how our brains work this is this is our distraction in the meantime though which is completely there your feeling on the injury situation the fact that if the season started on time we were looking at multiple players starting the year on the injured list for injuries that occurred last year what you're feeling for really the Yankee injury situation the way it's been handled over the recent period of time go back and forth because it's it's incredibly frustrating and I think you know I I spoke with Catherine spring training and I said like how you how spring going you could not get back injuries and there's it's frustrating because actually one it is back in it it happened in the end of the season but you know I mean if someone tells you Hey you may not need back surgery I think any humans gonna be like let's wait it out because I don't want to go have my back door open I think that's fair to judge one is like Jerry Harrison junior had it indicated but here these guys are different date what's being injured for them it sometimes is being hurt for a or being hurt for them sometimes injured for us you know like judge probably has taken pains nonstop and he probably had so many aching quite any pain that he's played through and they just go away after two weeks so in his brain he feels like a tiny little magnet shoulder he thinks others will probably go away I got three months for it to go away and then you get the spring training it's not done yet would have been better if they went through for MRI then found the unique break earlier gaffe but they're like they're very unique demand Severino the only one that I think is truly truly frustrating and handled rock they come on find that earlier he was hurt all last year he doesn't like MRI's why do you got to do the die cast MRI black anyone doesn't know yet like for M. arise in the die cast one was the one that found it in the end so that one feels like we could have found that out earlier the heck thing they told them to get Tommy John and he started throwing on his own to come back to the World Series in here I had a really cool home run versus very lander in the playoffs but it could have been back earlier this season so there's just so many levels and frustrations and like I think some are okay some aren't and the biggest most frustrating thing is these all happen in twenty nineteen when we had the terrible training staff and all the injuries not twenty nineteen is messing with twenty twenty because they fired the whole crew may brought in the most highly regarded bloody trainer whatever his title is and you know it's not his fault these are all lingering from last year so that must frustrate the deal one and this may not be the case anymore with the delay of the season the one silver lining I was looking at specifically with judge and Stanton is the opportunity of probably was going to create for Clint Frazier and Miguel Andujar and I'll buy you into horror actually looked like a reasonable left fielder in the time he was out there and so into horror who proved he could hit you on the rookie the year two years ago Clint Frazier we know how highly regarded his it looks like at least the opportunities we're gonna be there for them to shoulder Hey I could be everyday major league players yeah I think it's a bit bizarre that and and you are gonna find at sixteen years old and if you look at his minor league numbers he's only played third base the entire time when Frazier got drafted and it's only been out dealers in town the entire time and and you are now looks better than him in the outfield not just low fat yes that's a fair point that's a very binary that popped up they'll be out there more it was a toss up so that a lot of chances with the back so like you know I need a lot of things that get in the way had the concussion injuries and and stuff like that and he slid into second base and twisted his ankle last year but I mean it's not like we hadn't had a chance to come up and stay up with the bat he's been out for the last three years you know and we have a we have a lot of players come up and they stay up so I I'm not too I'd rather judging fan I mean I know for Clint personally that's like an opportunity taken away from him I still think and you are if he's throwing in their spots where he can play especially if you have some more comfortable now field in the first grade and I mean again he's the backup third baseman so more injuries will happen so I am sure it will get is chock it with his chance again this season and and current we'll get round as well at some point we'll just see what he does with that how many spring training sites did you get to hit last month of this month man we did it right before the virus was like we're kind of joking about it on our trip and we did ten stadiums in ten days the west coast of Florida we were living out of an RV driving up and down going to there you know we had we were given towards the facilities and walked around and interviewed some players watching games and it was everyone thinks their spring training facility is great because they compare it to their major league facility in Oregon so relaxing so much better when you compared to spring training facilities against other spring training facility it's kind of a different gauge I got the first time I went to Steinbrenner field I thought oh this is cool this is so much more relaxed beneath the stadium it's spring training five everyone's having fun and I go to like the Braves are the twins or.

"To just any other Saturday morning in New York City Evan Roberts here on the fan until two o'clock this afternoon we'll hang out we'll talk we'll reminisce will distract it's a you know you got to think about it this way everybody it is only been really too without sports hello we haven't hit that moment where it's been a month or two ones for god for bid I say more so when you really think about it we haven't dealt with it yet from a sports fandom now if you are quarantined in your home if you have decided that you are not leaving your home you're getting to know your family a little bit better you're getting to know the internet a little bit better you you're getting to know you to be a little bit better look at the bright side there are a lot of ways to distract yourself the one thing and I've given this thought and I know I shouldn't I shouldn't even think about it yet because of the uncertainty of when the baseball season is gonna start when or if the NBA seasons gonna resume same with the NHL and I have seen people on Twitter do it Spencer Dinwiddie was doing it of course the the Brooklyn nets and that is thinking of ideas how to restart this thing when we restarted because no matter when this thing comes back for any of the sports the season is going to be very very different the NBA said at minimum thirty days that doesn't mean they're gonna play in thirty one days and I think most of us realize that it's very unlikely we're going to see an NBA game in the middle of April so when they come back if they come back I guess with the NBA and the NHL you have to use that if the ideas start to pour in your head of well it's not just going to be your traditional post season when it Spencer actually had a really intriguing idea last night which Nick fans even you will like I know Islamic fans don't like Spencer Dinwiddie but even you know like his idea and that was you start the playoffs with everybody in it and you have an NC double a bracket tournament style event until you get to the NBA finals and then you go best of seven something crazy like that and I get it years from now we may look back and say was that really the fairest way to crown a champion really who cares you just need something and I think the way the calendar works I don't know if we're just going to be able to say all right we're playing again and we're gonna pick up as usual the problem with all this for what that is gone through my head in your head and some people said is that we really don't know when this thing's gonna start the same thing with baseball last night I'm reading that Major League Baseball will still like to play a hundred and sixty two games they would still like that well there's a lot of things people would still like in life that's not gonna happen any even if baseball started two weeks late it's unrealistic to think you're gonna have a one hundred and sixty two game season because I don't know about you I don't think it's a a good idea as much as I love it is a baseball fan would be realistic to think that we're gonna have the baseball playoffs deep into November without a touch November obviously after nine eleven and even in some scheduled years I remember the World Series in twenty fifteen the Mets and Royals went into November and that series went six or seven games that was gonna go even deeper into November I don't think despite the fact that November seems like a much warmer time than ever before they you could ever really think that baseball's gonna go that deep and the thing about baseball I love the sport I love a hundred sixty two games you know me I can live with one forty four we had it in nineteen ninety five I can't even live with one twenty whenever we start this year there's gonna be a number that realistically make sense now I'm in favor of day night doubleheaders or traditional double headers to try to make up games obviously that's something you need the players on board for and it's something that's certainly more complicated than me saying it would be cool and you're thinking it would be cool but baseball is in a different spot where what we want I think as fans more than anything besides just sheer entertainment if you want to crown a champion you work all year to crown a champion that's one nineteen ninety four still to this day all these years later is a painful moment in my sports fandom and painful for a lot of people listening in you know maybe it was different because of the time I was eleven years old and so when you're eleven it's very difficult to kind of comprehend the business side of things and really understand why there wasn't a World Series but that was the worst you know the hockey here that got wiped out it was awful but I guess what may have made it easier is that there was never a beginning nineteen ninety four it was the beginning there was this season it was most of the season we had an idea of who was good no wasn't good and we never got that result to it if you give me and you know you know if you listen how I feel about the sport of baseball if I tell you what's on my TV right now you'll know and I've certainly been talking about this on Twitter over the last half hour I get that the second it just give me anything once the season starts well live with the baby gave season bell will live with a hundred and ten game season the NBA in the NHL at some point probably has a date where they say we can't start later than this global was up to me I wouldn't have that date even if I wouldn't be able to startle July I still have a post season even if that meant impacting the following season but these are the thoughts that I think you're creeping into my head a lot of people set out there as we patiently wait the return of sports now last night there was so much your time is not right the W. W. we actually had their show and they did it kind of like how the nets and warriors we're supposed to do it a few days ago and that's an empty arena event which I think is weird for professional wrestling it would even be sports because as weird as it would be to watch an NBA game or a baseball game or any sporting event with no crowd wrestling kind of thrives on crowd interaction it's a scripted event in which you've got heels and you've got faces and you're working the crowd and hands the W. W. we I I assume and I hope they did it in a safe way last night but they actually put a show on in for anybody who watched in my vibe via Twitter last night was there were a lot of non wrestling fans who turned it on for the sheer idea that they needed some kind of entertainment so I I got a lot of tweets less that people say Hey I want wrestling since nineteen ninety nine I've never watched wrestling or Hey I just need something let me turn this thing on I think the consensus was it was really really really weird but we were happy it was there that was kind of the feel we got I not tell yeah I don't know where all of this is going as far as how we're gonna deal with this virus how we're gonna beat this virus and certainly how long it's gonna take and what's okay and what's not okay I mention this yesterday we all have to make our individual choices the individual choice I'm making because I have a wife I have a son and more importantly I live with my in laws who are older is I'm not leaving this house because I I god forbid I come back and infect them so my plan is to just stay bunker down for as long as I can but I don't know what realistically if professional wrestling even how they did it last night is gonna keep going I mean their plan right now is they're gonna have their shows inside their performance center with nobody there except the central personnel which by the way was the same idea that we had about the NBA and college basketball that was the thought that we had remember the NC double a tournament was gonna be played without fans only essential personnel I just wonder how long that would even go I hope it goes as long as it's safe because you want to be entertained and believe it or not this may shock you but as we enter this time of uncertainty this time of no sports we will talk about everything as you know and a little bit later on in the show David Meltzer will join me and if you've never heard of him he is the man who started the wrestling observer many many years ago he's kind of the king of wrestling rumors and kind of following pro wrestling not there's the W. W. E. but all the different federations around the world for many many years and older one is a one o'clock kind of picking his brain on what I just said if this will continue we'll also talk to John boy a little bit later on of course John boy is the man who brought the Houston Astros to their knees with the cheating scandal photo Getty is with him and also I know he made a spring training trip which I love to do every single year to go down to Florida and just check out the different sites it's a he made one of those trips a couple weeks ago so we'll certainly talk about that now what I've decided to do and there are so many options is before the show I need to put something on the screen the TV screen that I have here while I'm broadcasting and for all the teams I root for any of the teams I don't root for because I could you know you give me a a Yankee opening day from nineteen seventy six I'm good you give me a giants game any giants game I'm good so it doesn't even need to be a team I root for so I randomly opened up you Toobin said I got to put a game on it doesn't even matter what doesn't matter the sport doesn't matter the team I need a game and I randomly are you ready I randomly got to a baseball game and a Mets game so you could say come on and that's obvious we know baseball your favorite sport we know your method okay well this is more of a start we probably have two months of doing this all right so I somehow worked my way to March thirty first nineteen ninety eight opening day Mets Phillies and and I think I know why I got to this I think I got to this sub consciously because what I remember most about that opening day is that it was eighty five degrees outside on March thirty first was the first time we had an opening day in March which now is is more common place obviously we had opening day scheduled for March twenty six this year so I always think of that one because I was a kid at the time I was fifteen years old in nineteen ninety eight or fourteen years old and turned fifteen yeah but who cares it was March thirty first it was eighty five degrees and one thing you may know about me is I am a sucker for a pitchers duel and this was a one nothing game show I spoil it maybe I shouldn't spoil it in case you wanna the case you are you too bad I thought the rules of watching all games on you too is that there are no such thing as spoilers all right you can't complain that I told you that Alberto Casteel got the game winning hit you can't complain about that.

"Is with Evan Roberts Evan is CEO and founder of visually sold and that's the US based I re- real-estate Photography Company and I'm really looking forward to this conversation that is going to be centered around building a real-estate photography talk business from scratch from the ground up from the very beginning right so with this. I say welcome Ephron. Thank thank you thank you so much for having me my pleasure indeed when you hear the word Jamaica what kind of an emotion on does that evoke comfortable warm emotion. I like it. I like it always are sunshine. These are people I've ever been. I've never been no. Oh Okay Yeah. You should fix that. We should fix that right. I keep telling on my on my guess that we need to you know they have not been Cardinal scene. You know absolutely is maybe you you know you never know we can connect soft and see what happens so. I want us to talk from the beginning where my community to be better rate from what I've read in the insurance what upset in insurance so what are some of your favorite thing to do some of my favorite things to do outside of what I do as a profession. I love my job. I love leading people. I love the billing company. I love the creativity of it outside of that I would say some of my favorite things to do on would be mountain biking. I enjoy rock climbing as well. I take a Ju Jitsu class which I enjoy very much and other than that just just lazy Sunday with my girlfriend or or pretty great to awesome so you're an outdoorsy person. He likes to relax and enjoy life right all right and no one because usually persons persons who are into photography at find that they do have that kind of you know laid back. They're very passionate about what they do but yet there there is this kind of a a place and space where they get in touch with nature and get in touch with their inner selves. So when did you discover the the need for professional photography as it relates to real estate's well. I was looking at houses online and I noticed that some some houses had a really good photo as the front photo and I've come up clicking on that and I noticed that you know some didn't have it so as soon as I noticed that some of them did I said well there. Might there might as well you know. There might be a market for this so I did some research and I found out that there was a market for it and and yeah I mean I think I was surprised at the amount of houses didn't have professional photography taken of them seeing as the most expensive asset that people selling selling lifetimes so you would think that visual marketing would be you know a necessity for for everybody so that's sort of what triggered it for me and so when exactly did you get started with visually sold so I started usually sold a little over three years ago three and some change not quite three and a half so may up twenty sixteen and since then what has that journey been like for you Evelyn. I tell people all the time. It's the most rewarding terrifying thing have ever done in my life so it's it's. It's highly enjoyable. it it's been it's been a learning experience. I'm still learning every day of course course learning to lead learning to build and It's you know we've evolved a lot. We've grown a lot over the past three and a half years where a team of thirty now and we cover three even states we covered Georgia North Carolina and Tennessee in the US and yeah. It's just a huge huge learning experience every day. Every day is a blessing you so you talked about you know. Of course it's rewarding but he's also very scary to ooh. Yeah talk about scary part. You know the scary movie sure so. It's not it's nothing like a song whore or anything like that. There's no obvious obvious jump scares or anything like that but it's I think it's more of a fear of the unknown tone in a fear of not knowing what you don't know so to overcome that I think is just to understand that you're always learning in the united expected to know everything and then if you don't know everything somebody else knows what you don't know and somebody else you know. Of course you could hire hire. If you're the boss you know you could learn from somebody else but just especially not to be afraid of failure right so if if you do fail or if you you know I personally don't think that failure is or at least what people think of failure really exists. I think failure is more opportunity than what people labelled failure to be right. because failures is only didn't get that job created the opportunity for me to do something else or that you. I needed to be in that you know that needed to happen at the time of my life in order for me to do X. Y. Or that wasn't right for my journey at the time right so I think you know it is scary. The thought of failure or the thought of having to make payroll or whatever it is just the daily woes of running a business but I think everything is there as part of your journey. Everything is there to guide you and show you who you are in who you are becoming coming so yeah. I mean I think just just the typical just a typical of course finances and competitors and daily employees in a relationship issues. It's all it's all there but it's all worth it avenue said something on it jumped out jumped out at Mirabeau and and perhaps it's because I'm writing a piece the leader cast blog right now all about vulnerability and what you talked about was you don't always know right and so as a leader talked to me about that feeling of owner ability when you don't always know and you have to go for help. How does that feel. Is it something that person if you struggle with like I know many persons struggle with that because you are supposed to know you are the boss right right. I think ego plays a big part in that right. I think at least you know you expect yourself to know in for me personally. I knew that I've struggled with being okay with help or with you know not knowing struggle with with not knowing or being vulnerable enough to go to somebody for guidance for help. I think it's a pride thing and like I said I think it comes from an ego thing. You know you have to you have to to do that. You're not you don't know everything as soon as you can. Drop the EGO as soon as you can drop the idea that you have in your mind of that is as soon as you can take the label off of it and just be vulnerable and say okay here. Here's where I am in this moment. I don't know this thing or I need help with this thing I i. I want to continue doing what I'm doing and I need to know this thing to continue so you know I am I doing this to feed my ego. Am I doing this defeat myself south or am I doing this to grow something greater than myself and in which case can I use something or can I ask for help in in order to sustain that right so I think it's it's it's a matter of putting outside of yourself a little bit and I mean in conclusion of the Marta Taller ability is strength. You know contrary to believe that you know you'll meet because you ask for help or you reach out vulnerability is strength and when when you're able to be vulnerable volna terrible then persons know that they can trust you because then you begin to connect with you more absolutely right. It's authenticity. Everything is well so you also talked about in in part of your earliest punts to me. You mentioned something about who you are and who you are becoming and this also stood out because I am actually going through fees and I've been going through many different phases where I like am questioning. Who am I really really because I'm finding that I'm personally changing so much like my seasons are changing so much so rapidly so quickly like I feel like this consular Anson Caterpillar who is pushing through to be the butterfly and as soon as you become a butterfly in an era you realize that oh my gosh you're no caterpillar again because 'cause you're going through and the metamorphosis never ever end no talk to me about that experience of change that as a leader. How do you develop this this business. visually sold. What has been that experience like for you? It's an ongoing experience. I relate to that in. I resonate with that completely I think I've been going through my own internal struggles. I'm with that WHO AM I. Why am I doing this. Am I meant to be doing this. The key see there is to realize that you are right now. You are this moment. You are. The person that you are now. The past is story that you tell yourself right the passes. This is not real right now. So you are right now. That is who you're meant to be right and you just take each moment one at a time and be the best that best version of yourself that you know or at least the most troopers and of yourself that you know in that moment right in fully accept that and anything that you're looking for anything that you were you know striving to do. We'll sort of show itself to you when and when it's ready to as long as you accept who you are in any given moment what will sort of show itself okay so you accept yourself now. I'm GONNA show myself now. Listen to you because this is the right moment so that's not to say. Sit Back and relax and wait for things to happen for you. That's that's be. The best version beat do do you think is right at any given moment and I think I think that's helped me a lot. At least mentality has helped me a lot. You know what this is like. Almost I'm getting you know very philosophical philosophical right now but as you mentioned that I could think about the court I think ed owner of its Confucius are said that when the student is ready the the teachers appear will appear but for me like though I understand that in context I also an declare without hesitation I subscribe to the fact that my teacher who who is my creates a God. He's always with me so many but that's another story that we could get into and of course I digress but the point join the point is made and the point is stay on and so I want us to get back to your real-estate business photography business and whole did you get it all together together in terms of your team members that you had to recruit and term. Do you hire for scale or do you hire for for passion or attitude. What does it hold that look like. What did that. Look like in the beginning of your business here. So ever since I've started I began with scaling mind. I've always I've always had scale in mind while growing this company while starting this company I want. I want to to make excellent real estate photography available to as many people as possible right so when I started hiring I hired for what I needed to start right. I waited until I couldn't work another day alone in had to absolutely have somebody else helped me so so in since the beginning. I bootstrap that right. I sort of cash flowed right. I didn't funnel a bunch of money into it. Expect to grow a company from that right. I just sort of grew grew organically so I worked in. You know I would go to photo shoots every day at the answering the phone in the car every day. On the way to the photo shoots it'd be pulling over on the side of the road booking appointments and answering business calls on the way to photo shoots editing at night and so then I realized I needed some help I trained my good friend will to be my first editor on he actually edited out God room for the first few months and that took up some of the some of the editing workload off of myself but I still had the issue with the phone calls with the emails and the the scheduling in in the client support so in my sister was in college at the time so I muster caroline so I asked my sister Caroline if she wanted wanted to work for me and so I bought it used I mak on Ebay and I set it up in her dorm room at college and sort of while I was driving to the photo shoots I would train her over the phone and answer any questions that she needed while I was still out there doing photo shoots and then I heard another other photographers to support me to get to the photo suits that I could not get to myself and then another and another and then I hired more editors. I I moved into an office. We had our first office space and sort of just grown from there. You know you as you mentioned. It visually see visually sold yeah I could visually see my head out your your friend working out of your bedroom for a couple of months and your your sister working in her dorm dorm room and you training over the phone. I you know I can I can see that picture because as somebody who lives around the star helping our business I understand understand the complexities and the where there's a will..

"Evan Roberts until one o'clock this afternoon this is the world we live in what I'm about to say may sound crazy but it's a true statement while we were gone but the three and a half minutes that we were gone applaud gave me the updated with a commercial or to the inevitable finally happened no it would be as was not sent to the moon but the Oakland Raiders have released Antonio brown something that I think they had they had no choice. and I think the guy we're about to talk to is the perfect guy to talk to the most people listening right now movie tell me about right here most people listening right now when they hear the news maybe they order from me maybe they write on Twitter Antonio brown is being released most people's first reaction is about fantasy football all absolutely. that's literally the world we live in now if it does your brown was a generous giant that's a little bit different than it would be fantasy number one but while we have raider fans and in this audience no doubt and there are football fans not fantasy fans in this audience I think we live in a world now where most people listening are saying all my gosh I drafted Antonio brown why why do or Hey which raiders going to benefit from this what should I do so it's perfect that Jamie Eisenberger CBS is with me right now Jamie how are you. I understand I answered about forty five the attack misses is the in the last two months. that's the proof of it there like on it JB what do I do well let me start with this if somebody M. as personally I I came very close to drafting Antonio brown it was up to two guys and brown went to pick said to me and so the decision was made for man ever drafted Antonio brown no sweat off my back but if you are somebody a gallery guy who drafted him should you just say to yourself it's okay he's going to play somewhere sooner what's your course of action if you are someone who drafted Antonio brown right now are I don't know Burchill dot com you know I I I I don't know if you're gonna play again you know it yeah I wonder what's happening within you know it is there something potentially you know really with all the C. P. U. **** and a you know in recent years is there something wrong with him you know it is there something going on with them that we just don't know because of the erratic behavior and so crazy no I hope you okay so I I don't know but seem to touch him we know given all the drama and then you have the doctor what you have to pay him if you can accept you know at this point you know a lesser contract because he was expected to make thirty million dollars so I just don't know where his worded might that's going to be in if you can trying continue to pursue that you would think so you would think a team you know I mean not everybody can afford to take your they always take on everybody else's problem they go through the car wash and and they come out in a pretty good on the other side so I think it'd have to be paid for the you're not going to release them you know in terms of your fantasy league because somebody will take a canton and pick them up for a couple weeks there's no trade value so you just have to sort of you know that that sounds very similar to you know I I'm to get different circumstances but the levy on the outside last year does not knowing what to do and when we return and what will happen yeah I could end up to be at a desk phone your office for a couple weeks yeah I was talking earlier about brown that when you look at what he's done over the last three or four years even last year the guy is still a great player I mean the production is still there did you notice that he was dropping in leagues because of maybe not the thought that he was gonna be cut before the start of the year but because of his erratic behavior and moving the Oakland you know having Derek Carr throwing the football as compared to. and did you notice a serious drop in where brown was being drafted and this past couple weeks take everything away from the off the field stuff and just focus on field yeah he was gonna drop he wasn't being ranked if I if you would rather they were still with the Steelers now from my perspective you know again you miss that their car not the same quarterback bye bye by leaps and bounds bike and robs burger the system not the same you know John groups often compared to what the dealers have typically done you know yet that the office of the whole you know I mean you were going positions for fifteen touchdowns last year you know I I mean a lot of people about the joker the raiders were fifty percent of the team you know I I think he was still going to produce on a good enough level that you start every week without question but not to be in the same conversation as the top tier guys like you typically has been little your dollars and godly Hopkins and and and that group and I think he was even in my opinion well behind his former teammate and you just missed you so I just like the set up for him better than brown in Oakland. when you look at receivers that are going to benefit from this Tyrone Williams today brought in from the Chargers do you see kind of him being a much more valuable guy now because of this news with brown and how much more value does he yet I mean the only thing we can look out with him in any of your questions yeah but the the thing we look out with and then you can go back to twenty sixteen when he was with the charger in Allen poured ACL week one against Kansas city fifteen games and being the number one guy there he got twelve of those fifteen games with six or more target ten of those fifteen games for those unifying PP are we or twelve or more points which is really really good so it'll be about a thousand yard receiver be my guest no fifty eight cut down so he goes from a border where a guy in a three receiver league who now I borderline die in a too risky release almost a starter on a weekly basis I don't know if you want to throw in there at the start of the week one you have probably a lot of good options on your bank but if you did drop Tyrone Williams of the blues for hand and then I would go look at your waiver wire just to take a look at cutting on how do you usually get I think hunter Renfroe the next guy that benefit from the receiver standpoint you know he was a got a job that a client and you're gonna be the slot receiver so I don't know what they'll do in terms of just moving right grant the other side on the outside but I think targets will benefit Renfro and then if you still looking for a tight end of yet another roster spot Darren Waller you go back to last year Derrick are really leaned on Derek cook a lot I don't think there Waller produces like Derek cook but now the opportunity is there for and the real benefit as well so look for Tyrone Williams look for their wall or look for hunter Renfroe all of them get a boost talking to Jaimie Eisenberg about fantasy I couple of guys I want to throw out yeah we saw Todd Gurley drop from being a guy who is number one overall on a lot of draft Lester number two overall kind of in that mix to being in some leagues late first early second I think there's big question on how much usage is gonna have with any questions what's your sense from what you can expect from Todd Gurley who age wise is still young you still the prime of his career what do you expect from early this year. not being one of the best. deals on draft day if everything is fine or or somebody that you'll still consider as a week or longer no issues with me because if you. fifteen to eighteen plus range if they're going to try and limit them to make sure that express for the playoffs because they consider themselves Superbowl contender and it's going to be exactly where he should have been drafted in that round two in some case results around very early round three just again because of the concerns but you know everything that they did this offseason speak to them wanting to just sort of limit girly a little bit you know dropping their Henderson in the third round bringing back Malcolm brown as a restricted free agent in and again you saw what happened at the end of last year so I think all the other side of it is everything around says that all offseason he's fine no issues we're gonna make sure he used it a hundred percent you can hear one report at all about knee soreness in practice over going to limit him arctic for a couple days because you're dealing with some discomfort and then you get the report and some advance you days ago of even I can have a touch of limited at all so I hope you find I hope we see the same Todd Gurley a lot of people are really going to benefit as a result and just Oakley that there's no issues within you moving forward there's a lot of back feels that have some questions out of the gate let me ask you about San Francisco who do you trust in that back feel right now I got both guy you know I I accounts in in in tried and true would you think you guys want to add to the light and land on the job at or near there we got a great production from both guys the very degrees the Marty Friedman with the Mostar guy seven Coleman would look like and I think the same thing now we're Tevin Coleman now in that lead role and Matt breeder can be a black and I think when I find out that you have read at the end of one of the better values on traffic you know when you had your drive because we don't know we're gonna have larger beginning and now you know you go out if you can with Melanie if you are going to be both guys if you just look at the the preseason snap it was basically thirty snaps with any problem you within their eighteenth master map reader that's basically a sixty forty split so I think if you have a comment though the lead guy I would start in this week but if you have like also you a bit of a trouble with the law office on your body can move things around the team your blood lab read in there I think you can be really good as well looking at Thursday do you throw a lot of stuff out first week of the year me neither team was able to get the..

"And so I think give the Mets were able to cycle Bernie makes sense for them because I think the Yankees right now are pretty much a Phil team even the pictures that you may want to add none of them to me would be of the quality that you actually really boring into this team to give a significant role especially with the potential arms that are coming back like della Betanzos white think I see throwing right now I'm trying to see with my eyes said that very much looks like Dylan and I'm right Jack is giving me the you have good eyesight side than I do I I don't I can't brag about much but that's a very good eye sight I don't wear glasses my entire family does my sister my mom my dad I don't wear glasses but that is there will be ten to so as we talk about the possibility of a guy like him coming back he is right now throwing off flat ground in the outfield is having a catch out there in shorts I have such an urge right now to run on the field I have a cat to down the tenses is that seven X. don't do about that all right so here's a live play by play of delicatessens and Louise Severino both throwing all flat ground they both look good and I have this real urge to run on the field have a catch with them could you look up a microphone Jackie that would be a second I'm talking having a catch with them in describing what their phone and if they start throwing slide since such I'll have no chance I'm running out of the way of it we got more coming up from Yankee Stadium Sweeney's gonna stop buying a little bit with it'll twelve twenty five please Yankee fan fest states starts at three o'clock over at McComb's damn party get head out over there there's a lot of things going on based on what happened in Oakland last week you may want to throw in the fast pitch get some do got a contract when he topped out at ninety six miles an hour it's all sorts of things going out there a lot a meet and greet so head on out here to Yankee Stadium on a beautiful day we'll come back we'll take more your calls Evan Roberts till twelve twenty.

"You're welcome number one yeah you could last a yeah all of that and i think it's the best of both worlds you come into new york you've got a good core you got a good young core you're in new york but you're in brooklyn you can still do you're business you got indoors because everything is everything think about the fact that your devils in the nets fan now they're hard to find those those type of fan couple of weeks about the last month for you guys you're right now they gotta do it on the floor and they ice though sure but you're right you're absolutely right so i listen it's irving in the andre jordan thing it's really amazing all three of them how fast it happened oh by the way so how does this work exactly you can't talker meet with teams until six pm on will take it how much we get yeah i'm of course obviously this stuff was all set up but isn't it funny we had the conversation on friday you asked me do you think anybody's gonna sign right at six i know everyone how at four am round i signed i know who is unbelievable there's also this whole thing so ridiculous that none of this stuff is it's official until what six six saturday right now stupid mbh rules silly on the knicks did sign a guy who punched out his teammate and broke his face so welcome bobby portis rj barrett don't piss them off like dude like the fact the big big joke on the social media with the knicks in a randall and portas another one and i got a what's his face so taj gibson hodge gibson also by the way reggie bullock and they find him in the middle of the night to i i didn't see that but i saw the first three they're they're all the same position that was the big jerry you know dnb eight organization list now i guess it is i mean it's definitely a different game i bet i guess we just assume co i leonard had no interest rate 'cause they can't even afford to pay now i wanna know you there's no way no he wasn't good at that that to me is probably more so than kyrie and kevin durant going to the nets it's the fact that it didn't seem like any bano one nobody was even interest it doesn't seem like it like you would think a guy like kemba walker kemba walker would say hey you know i could be the face of the knicks any wasn't interested or i mean any of these jimmy butler going all right you know i could be v man in new york nope that's what everybody wants to play at the garden tobias harris along i arrived they they won't you wanna play in the garden in another uniform right foot up fifty is what they wanna do which is what they always do i guess they concern going forward is like if the knicks don't build a team through the draft will any body body of significance wanna sign with that it's bad man i mean this is like that's the perception about this whole thing that's the worst part nobody wants that well nobody of significance not other guys took the money in their here 'em but phys dale and perry they got they got their work cut out for him you know they have the try to do what atkinson and sean marks of don't the nets and they have a chance with the young core that they have right now they better season a building season next year all of a sudden next they become more appealing i would think rj berets gotta be a star that's what has now he has to be a story campaign swing and miss feeling she's everything if he's a star the whole spiel around the team in any changes sucks right now kevin durant's tolling or anthony davis i know i think we i think what makes it a little less painful today's we kind of knew as the debt for the last couple of weeks it felt like i felt friday saturday they were momentum building that perhaps they were switching their thoughts and that kyrie in the rams are gonna end up with the next that's what i would start in a raid near yeah and i started to wonder high wall maybe and then all of a sudden you have except remorse or do you think that they knew this you know there's an al buying a car i think they've actually done the research and i know i think they known all along this one of their destination i told you that charles oakley kevin durant instagram post was the worst of the knicks news that would be a you know waves coming in the knicks after i saw the two of them arm in arm in a restaurant is everybody knows evan roberts sleeping in a he posted at eleven pm that he couldn't sleep you were so excited wani emmy posted still up you're one of those we did it again yeah i don't know but he does have a short on yes he did by the way say that he wasn't so sure about the ranting heat in really well because there's lament like he just felt like his whole life it's never happened so he wasn't gonna get himself all jacked up and he's gonna relaxed he's gonna end up going to the knicks some kind of resigned to the fact i didn't i when i talk to me it was more like he was he was worried about the injury in stopping him and joe on same page with granting he posted yesterday gonna go to city field away for they nouncement that he's going to the knicks yeah which is kind of what he was exposed safer forever and for those of us who do have some similar fan bases are part of similar fan base is like the mets we we put quite possibly could have the rookie of the year and the batting title winner yes absolutely over the last time that happened in both all stars i made false false i mean that's unbelievable i tell you after what the mets just went through and what the knicks just went through i mean i had two teams die within a couple of days one another

KD, Kawhi mulling free-agent scenarios

"Durant, or each planning discussions and meetings with several teams, but only the clippers and Knicks are in alignment with salary cap space common interest to sign both players Brooklyn could conceivably house both, but a more likely scenario would be Durant, and point guard Kyrie Irving signing free agents with the nets Brooklyn is firmly Irving's focus in free agency league sources said well. Are you kidding me? If you could get Colli Leonard and Kevin Durant. You say bye bye Tyree. The focus dead. If these guys wanna play together, and I never imagined. They wanted to because I always thought that was a bit of a rivalry between them. You never heard that they were friends. You've never heard that Colli, even wanted to form any kind of super team. But if they are discussing playing together, the clippers make sense, the Knicks makes sense. They both have maxed Avs space to house both. Both gentlemen. Well soda, the nets except focused on Kyrie Irving. Well, here's what you do marks on focus for, like a

"Evan Roberts. It's a Saturday here in New York City. It is raining. It will clear up eventually. And so you'll hear New York Yankee baseball later today as the will play another game against the Kansas City Royals after taking care of business last night. We've karston Charles Sabathia delivering a solid five inning performance in which he got in and out of trouble was betrayed a little bit by defense partially him partially Lugovoi, but was able to give you quality work of five innings and the New York Yankees were able to defeat Jacob Junius and the Kansas City Royals over Yankee Stadium later today. They will play I looked at the weather forecast the Doppler WFAN five thousand and while it may rain throughout the morning. Eventually they will be baseball today later at Yankee Stadium. You will hear that game right here on the fence? I will take. You're right up until twelve twenty five. Sometimes it's good that when sports news breaks Joe. And I have time before we come on the air. It's good to have a few hours. Maybe even a full night to let news marinate, a part of the reason why I wanted to do a podcast where I give it instant reaction is because sometimes your instant reaction is very different than the reaction of twelve hours later, the reaction of eighteen hours later, so sometimes I've been able to catch capture that initial reaction I have and I've been able to podcast the daylights out of it yesterday. I was sitting there ready to eat food as ready to eat dinner. It was an early dinner. And I got a text message from guy who you may know, his name is Adam Eaton not the baseball player, but is in our fantasy league. And he's got a very risque fantasy baseball name. We call them at a meeting, and I see this text message all it says is so it begins and I'm like what the hell's he talking about. What begins? What's he making a fantasy trade? What do I care right now? And then I see a tweet that he sends me from Steve Gelb so gals if you're listening. I hated you yesterday because I don't like the bearer of bad news. I don't like people telling me when you tell me bad news. I blame you Bob useful knows all about that. I'm listening to the call a nets Hornets game nets getting their butts kicked and all I could think about is Bob I eight you so Gelb couldn't stand yesterday. You're okay now, and I see Mickey Callaway autre cakes elbows barking. We're going to send them back to New York for an MRI. And you could ask my wife. The look on my face was it was as if I hate to go to the extreme of death in the family because that is probably way too far, but I had a blank stare on my face. And she said is everything. Okay. I said, no. It's not okay. Actually. No, it's not. It's not okay. Jacob degrom is gonna lose his elbow guys. Never gonna pitch again the Mets hallways. I gotta worry about the nets tomorrow. And I gotta worry about Jacob degrom never pitching again. So no, everything is not okay. And my son who knows one place ball players named says gum. Emigrate? I got to teach them a new name now, so panicking even tweeted out the season's over, but I tried to take a deep breath. I obviously sat down and watched the Mets last night as well as the Yankees as well as the Celtic game as well as the red sock. Raise game was very active with sports last night. Trying to take my mind off of Jacob the grams elbow and as the Mets were able to get to runs in the first inning against Adam Wainwright as the Mets were able to tack on three nothing lead. And then slowly watch. They're five to one lead disappear and watch big Bob gazelle. Komen with a couple of guys on base on the eighth inning. First and third one out it appears inevitable that the Mets are gonna waste and actually responsible outing by Jason Vargas, I started to feel better. And I started to relax, and I started to remember that last year. We all got a scare. From Jacob degrom. And that was the swing against Atlanta. Remember that and Joe, and I did a show the very next day. I think we did a remote from a bear burger not bear burger zinn burger, I should say. And I remember that whole free hours, we were panicking. It was the end of the world the Graham would never going to see him again and shockingly things worked out. Okay. You only missed one start. He came back and the guy won the Cy Young. I can't tell you that. That's definitely going to happen again. I don't know what's going to happen. I know the Mets are downplaying everything. They're not even sending them to New York for an MRI 'til Monday. Either. The Mets are relaxed and calm or they are naive as hell. I'm not sure which one. And I know our initial reaction as fans is to say, they're the Mets they gonna screw it up. It is a different administration. I can't blame Brodie van wagon for Ryan church going on an airplane with a concussion. I can't do that. It's not fair. So while I sit here today, not overly optimistic that everything's gonna be okay. I'm certainly calmer than I was twelve hours ago. When I thought it was the end of the world, he will get the MRI, hopefully, it will reveal nothing and the best case scenario is a week from now he's facing the Milwaukee Brewers. The worst case scenario is we're all talking about Jacob degrom not pitching for a long period of time. Now, if you decide and you can you can call up and talk about whatever you want. You can ask me anything you want. You want ask me if Jason Giambi she replaced. Jacob the ground on the rotate, you could ask me that dumb, quiet. I don't care talk about the nets the islanders the yanked. Whatever you want to talk about. But if you call up today and try to engage in a battle about these warriors shooting shine them. We will fight argue sports fight nothing too serious because I will defend that point forever. I don't care what the news even says about Jacob degrom. I laid it out. For months, and if I have to lay it out again on Saturday morning, I laid out again on why it made sense for the Mets decide Jacob degrom. But if you're going to Monday morning quarterback this thing on a Saturday and try to pick a fight with the president of the Jacob degrom fan club you bread to bring more than a pea shooter this morning. I'll tell you that right now. Because I stand by the fact that it was the right decision to extend this guy. No matter what the news comes out about. Jacob degrom on Monday morning. With that said, it's April, and we talked about this with the a few days ago with their win against the Red Sox when Brett Gardner hit the grand slam Jay hap- settled down. And how it was a pretty big win for the Yankees and sometimes wins in April are tough to judge. Maybe you look back on it months. From now at the end of the season and say that game in April was huge for the Mets last night. That felt like a huge win. It felt like a huge win. Because of the Jacob degrom news. It felt like a huge win. Because Jason Vargas was pitching. And I'll get to him in a second and felt like a big win. Because I don't know if you agree with me watching this game is the way I felt it felt like they were going to inevitably lose this game. That's the way it felt. And the reason it felt that way is because despite getting three runs against Adam Wainwright the first two innings. They left a country on base. They left five guys on the first two innings seven guys on the first three inning. They love nine guys on through the first four innings. They missed so many opportunities. Then you're asking for five innings out of your bullpen and really four innings until you get to a guy you trust in Ed, Wendy as these felt like a loss, and it turned out not to be it turned out not to be because Pete Alonzo hit a huge home run in the sixth inning. It turned out not to be because Robert gazelle came in in a very tough situation with first and third one out and got a little pop up to second base. And then was able to get through the inning getting Matt carpenter to ground out. And it turned out not to be a loss because Jeff McNeil made a great defensive play of third. Good job. I'm Mickey Callaway putting him there. And Edwin de has got the job done despite putting you on the edge of your seat. And when that game ended three and a half hours after it started. I don't know. Maybe this will mean nothing maybe this will be a forgettable game. But in the moment it felt in the moment it felt like a big win. It felt like a sometimes I say this because sometimes it's necessary a good mental health victory. Sometimes you need those especially upon the uncertainty around Jacob degrom was Jason mortgage. Good yesterday. I personally think it's going to be very difficult to sustain a starting pitcher every five days going four innings. So while he only allowed one run, and he was able to dance through trouble. Some trouble bigger than others. Got that big double play against yada. Emily Lena was able to step up after I'm Ed Rosario made another fielding error. Is able to get through trouble and outside of the home run by Jose Martinez. Look bottom line is that somebody runs you give up. That's what matters not how many hits not how many walks. This isn't fantasy is relief. He gave up one run in four innings. Could he have started the fifth inning? I think that making Calloway knows. The odds are low on getting him through the fifth inning. It's not that the pitch counts that high was only seventy five it's that. Okay. Now, he's going third time around the order against pretty good hitters. I mean think about it. We facing he's going to face. Matt carpenter is going to face, Paul Goldschmidt. And you're gonna face pulled the young who owns the Mets. So I have no problem with that. I think you're probably better off giving Seth Lugo cleaning that asking him to come in with a couple of guys on base. I'm not gonna wax poetic about Jason Vargas, it's four innings. He doesn't even qualify for a win. But certainly considering how bad he was last week considering how low our expectations are Jason. Vargas was okay. And the Mets bullpen was. It was reasonably okay in a Lugo was able was able to give them two innings. He got through his issues in the fifth inning. After putting the first two guys on base outside of the home run. He gave up he first major league home run by Lance or lean Thomas, not the Nick, Lance Thomas lane Thomas outside of that already was able to get through it. Familiar? Look good got the first four guys out he faced until yacht. Air Molina doubled. Justin Wilson didn't do much. In fact, what he gave up an infield hit. So I can't really blame them for that. But then he walked Colton long on four pitches against the lefty. But gazillion was great and has got the job done and the Mets were able to get a very big four April win. That's how I preface them big for April win when you look at the fact they had lost four of their last five when you look at the uncertainty today, Chris flexes actually gonna make the start not take up too. You have a shirt yourself now that this is an okay road trip. Because remember how long this road trip is it's a ten game road trip or more than that. It's an Leno ten game road trip. Thank you to into against Atlanta one into against Philadelphia. And so far one against the St Louis cardinals today have survived this stretch of games. So we talked about this before the season that of the first twenty one games the Mets play sixteen. One of are on the road and other than that series with the Marlins all they were doing was facing. Good teams, Atlanta, Philadelphia Washington, Saint Louis always was good teams outside of the three against Miami. And they are going to get out of this thing about five hundred now, I don't wanna lose the next two games. But at minimum, that's what they were able to. They were able to survive it now to Noah Syndergaard. Noah Noah, Noah, Noah. This is your time. Because Jacob degrom is on the injured list at minimum. He's not making his next start. I have a tough time believing..

"Bryce, Harper's free agency has dragged on for a lot longer than it should have. That's just a new reality of major league. Baseball teams aren't willing to break. The Bank on untenable long-term deals that don't provide a great return on investment for the past few weeks. It seemed as if the Phillies were the only team in the market for services. They haven't closed the deal yet, though, which is opened the door for the Los Angeles Dodgers to try to steal it just makes sense for the dodgers. They know Harper. What's the play on the west coast? They've been also close to a World Series title the last two years. The majority of their bats are on the cheap and the dodgers need to finally justify their payroll. The only hang up Harper wants to sign long term while the dodgers wanna shorter agreement. It's a pretty simple internal debate for Bryce max out the money or getting position for its. It's baseball. The money will always be there. I tried to the ring on Tiki barber. "FM New York Evan Roberts here on the fan until one o'clock battling a play it hurt. I'm like Joel Embiid with a back issue. Let's go to Sammy in upstate New York. What's up Sammy, get better? Listen, I have a few questions. So if you can give me a moment, your last caller is kind of made my questions and comments a little more one as far as training for Davis. I don't know the next have enough pieces even giving the first round picks, but I would start with Robertson and unprotected first round pets. I wanted to ask you a question 'cause you're two one brought this up to me and made me start the research on a previous show. Yes. With the changes to the lottery. Yes. You know, they the way they changed it, and you seem to know more about it than most basically. Now, the first re- teams have equal chance as far as that three three picks out. And then the next two teams excuse me the first team. Getting them lowest be as the fish the second team, the lowest they could be six the next scene. The lowest they could be a seven. So do you think that really will play any way with being interested in trading that pick because in theory, they could drop all the way down the five, and it's really only a three player draft. Well, I think Sammy that it only matters for the next few days until the trade deadline, and I don't think they're trading that pick. So that was the whole thing about the pelicans taking back the pick. The pelicans are taking back the uncertainty of what that pick is once the lottery occurs in the second week of may if I'm not mistaken, we're gonna know so calm the days surrounding the NBA draft. We're gonna know where that pick is. So we're gonna know if it's fifth fourth third second one. So your point only as valid for the next couple of days before the trade deadline. I would be absolutely stunned. If the Knicks traded their first round unprotected pick before the trade deadline. Here are the odds. Okay. If you are the worst second worst or third worst teams you have the same odds at the first pick fourteen percent. The second pick thirteen percent. The third pick a little under thirteen percent. Here's where changes. The first two or I'm sorry. The first three actually it's the same. Let me let me continue this actually same odds at the fourth back. Here's where changes for the fifth pick the number one worst team is locked in. They cannot drop below five. The second worst team can drop below six and the third worst team can't drop below seven. So if you're in that bottom three you've got those same exact odds at one two three four. The only difference is how far you can fall. And this is the first year that they put these new odds in so I know there's a lotta knick fans. Thank our luck. Robert in Manhattan. Hey, robert. Hey, good morning, as I gotta tell you should get qudos awards and the distinguished service cross for your effort, this really now you really doing great. You're, you know, you're like Horatio with the bridge barbarian or wow. Little history there. Okay. I love it. But ask you a question say the pats with Tamara go pats. What are the chances? What would you like to bet? The odds. I'd love to see this Vegas of a clean sweep in Boston. This year all four sports or not just Zab not just all for teams in their respective championships. But all four winning. The odds are gonna be very very low. Because because first of all I think that the Boston Celtics winning an NBA championship is a long shot. The Bruins are a playoff team. So at least they're in the tournament. I think that their odds of coming out of the east and then winning or low. So what's amazing is that they're both playoff teams? I think that you gotta start there. You have a baseball team that wins the World Series football team that was a Super Bowl. And at least winter sports teams that are in the playoffs. So I still think it would be an incredible long shot. But the fact. The fact that they're even that close makes me very bitter, very bitter and very jealous. The right now, I am going through a renaissance as a sports fan. I've got an island Dir team that got another plate last night there in first place in the metro and a net team at at least looks like a playoff team. Harvey index. Dick sales Harvey. I literally not going to hang up on you until you hang up the phone yourself. So this is going to be your time to shine this voice needs a break. Harvey. I'm gonna listen to every word. Go ahead. Thank you. I wanna talk about the to miss calls on one play in the playoffs. But I must tell you. You know, what I do for a living, and I'm frequently called to treat laryngitis? And if you if I can impart something to you that helps you I'd be I feel very go to give me a warrant feeling. It's one of the most frustrating things to treat in medicine as I said, I'm freely called to do it. And I get it. So and you're and I in the field where we have to Yap a lot I lecture and I teach and I and I have to face patient. So what what what know the best thing in my opinion is an understanding of what happens, and and because otherwise it's just laryngitis, you know, you as physicians we don't see the vocal cords. Okay. It's something that you have to have a special device to look at. Right. And therefore, we're looking at the at the throat is really as the window to the to the larynx and Alonzo to cords, and they vibrate from air that you bring up and anything that happens to those course can change the quality of voice. And that's what happens you changed. How you talk. You don't talk right, obviously, the first thing to do is have somebody looking just throat and take a look what's going on. And there's so many different things I can feed into it and remedies are diffuse lot of causes. So the fact of the matter is is that if you somebody should look at if you if you have some of these things by history, that's one thing. Let's assume you don't have reflux you. You haven't been sick. You can be sick or not sick. And that's the frustrating part of it. You can and this season is a season of people getting viruses, mostly, and it can it can cause laryngitis, but that's assuming you don't have reflux. You don't have a strep throat. Most of them are viruses. Right. And and you have a painful throat, you don't have a do do not. How do you handle that number one is that it may take time and may not to some people party? I love you. But I think that most people listening probably don't care anymore. So let me get to the whole thing is that there's so many different things appreciated, by the way. And you know, is to is to is to do these things on people inhale steam, some people take antibiotics some people use lozenges. I have my favorites. You know, I I like lozenges. I like something. And and unfortunately, the best thing to do is rest your throat and don't talk, and that's. In the Super Bowl try to keep in when you have those moments just reading I know you're right after this show is over I'm gonna use sign language for the rest of the weekend. So there you go. Well, anyway, so let's I really want to give a gift I point that I have about those. I've Ivan absolutely flabbergasted, so to speak since they missed a NFL to NFL officials missed two calls on the same play. And I and I know for example. Why did that happen? I can't even see. I mean a child can look at that that play call the penalty. So I was saying I said to myself, I said self what is the possibility and just want your opinion on this. Yeah. We've heard the saying listen play let them go, especially at end of gangs. Whether it's basketball, whether it's football whether talkie, and I just feel that they they that it was on the screen. Everybody knew about it the referees. I didn't see the play baloney. He everybody saw that play. Maybe the issue is. And I said and their opinions I've discussed this with a few people. Do you believe that they should let them right at the end of the game. Because if you let him ride you're not calling penalties. I think that there's a lot of penalties that invested the end of the game. I just think they got snagged on his play feeling that. There's absolutely no way you miss this. Right. You know? And if you're going to not call penalties at the end of the game, and let them ride does that. So that the extent excitement than at the at the end, do you know? Sometimes that's not a good thing. So I thought the penalty, right? Yeah. I don't love it. I'd rather be consistent about what I'm calling throughout the game. But the one thing is I get that there isn't and I'll give you an example the other night, and that's lost to the Spurs. Okay. Shabazz Napier was probably fouled on his attempt at a game-tying three. And I believe that they probably would have called it earlier in the game. No, I wasn't yelling and screaming because I believe the nets lost that game for many other reasons. But I think that if you're going to call the foul three minutes into the third quarter. You should call a foul even in the final seconds. So in favor of letting them play overall NBA and NFL let them play overall. But I don't believe that you should. And I know a lot of people disagree about this. I get it. I'm just giving you my opinion. I don't believe that I should officiate the game differently. Just because of where it is in the game. What's happened in the NFL is that throughout this postseason? Mostly for the good guys play. I think that's been a good thing. But you have to do it within reason and on that pass interference non call. There was no reason there had to throw a flag, Chris and ocean. Hi, chris. You're doing what champions do today didn't trade Super Bowl weekend? You're fighting. You're getting stronger as the game goes on baby. Thank you Chris couple of things about the prisoner. I look at a trade like what's the disaster potential? What's the worst case scenario? And so I'm not worried about what porzingas is gonna become because you know, why that's Don-Shik team down there and the best he'll become is. I think he's going to stay there. A really good all star level second fiddle. So I'm not worried about that. Then I look at the future. I don't think we're getting Durant because I think what he's looking for. He already has in cooler heads will prevail and he'll stay out there. But if you tell me we could get Kawai in Canada, and a topic I would be static with that..

Kyrie Irving changes his tune on re-signing with Celtics in NBA free agency: 'I don't owe anybody s---'

"I'm going to tell you exactly why I went backwards. It was all the fault of Kyrie Irving. Because during the show we were talking about Kyrie, and obviously he made the comments yesterday about his free agency and everything that he said, and I got agitated I got at Kyrie Irving because I look at a guy where if I was a Celtic fan. He would drive me nuts. He would drive me nuts. I traded the guy. I understand. What's happened? Why say Thomas ins and Jae Crowder sins and we'll see what that pick. Specifically, Colin Sexton turns into trade for a guy thinking he's going to be my piece to win an NBA championship. He has a great year last year. Right. Has a great year last year. The Celtics won fifty six games fifty seven games something in that neighborhood. He misses the last month of the year doesn't play in the playoffs. I get to the seventh game of the Eastern Conference finals without him. Right. The following season which is this season. He misses a handful of games and every other day. He's got something wrong with him. All my hip hurts that hurts all I don't feel good migraine. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. The Celtics win more games when he's not on the court. And now he's openly talking about leaving after he told season ticket holders earlier this year. I'm saying like if I'm a Celtic fan. And I'm gonna promise myself not to get worked up again. Because I believe that me, you know, passionately describing my thoughts about kyri led to my voice going backwards. It was not even a nets game wasn't even the island or game last night. It was nothing. It was kyri orvin. Who means nothing to me? Tyree. Irving means nothing to me. But I'm a passionate sports fan. I got into it. I started explaining loudly to Joe why if this was going on with the Knicks despise Irving he'd be ripping them every day. I think what I said yesterday to him was it would make his ripping of Todd Bowles. Look, very like nothing would seem as if he was being kind to pod balls. I mean that I mean, I just described what's been going on in Boston. And I can't speak for every Celtic fan. We will have a Celtic fan on a little bit later on in the program guy by the name of Justin terminated works for NBA radio. Good dude passionate basketball fan watches like every single game. He has a Celtic fan, but he's a good NBA fan. I'm gonna pick his brain not just about this. But the landscape of the league, but I can't imagine that he or any other Celtic fan would be happy about this. Now, we understand what the Knicks did two days ago. Okay. We get it. It is mostly. About Capra if not all about capital and giving themselves the ability to attract to max free agents this coming summer. Now, I'm not gonna tell you should want to say, Kevin Durant. Kyrie irving. I get it. I think Kemba Walker is a safer pick basically because Kemba plays number one. Number two. He's been the lead guy. The unquestioned lead guy on a team. That's made the playoffs numerous times kyri hasn't done that yet. Cari was the lead guy last year, and they would have made the playoffs. Sure. He'd have a plane the postseason didn't make and by the way before LeBron went back to Cleveland. The Cavs were a lottery team every single year. So Kemba a is a safer safer player when it comes to health be. I just think he comes across like a like a better dude about both our local guys I understand that campus. Obviously from the Bronx kyri is from New Jersey. But Kemba seems to be forgotten about in all of this agree who has the higher upside when they're both healthy and have their head on straight. "You. Bobby Evan Roberts coming up at ten o'clock right now where rejoined by Bill Ayers. He was with us a couple of hours ago for hungerthon two thousand eighteen and we urge you to go to hungerthon dot org. And you can see the auction items. You can see the premium items you can pick up, but we're talking about poverty, which leads to hunger, and the efforts that why hunger is going. Thing is undertaking to to a radical that are to ameliorated at least and and Bill some of these programs. I mean, the the key with this charity that I find most compelling are very compelling is that you guys don't have a ton of overhead. You know, you see so many charities where not all that much money goes directly to where it has to go. And you guys are something like what eighty percent or so of the funds raised go directly to the grassroots organizations that help here how much eighty eight eighty eight percent while twelve percent overhead the rest of the we have relatively small staffs, and we, but we do a lot we have very wonderful dedicated energetic people and on Tuesday Noreen Springstead who's executive director. She'll be on all day. Fan, and I will be honest well with Mike so we have a great staff they worked very hard. And most of our work is right here in the United States. We do have an international program. And you know, we've we've worked all over the world to bring something called agroecology to people, and that means that's a method of farming. That does not utilize. Pesticides herbicides chemical fertilizer. But brings some of the new studies in agriculture together with some of the traditional ways of doing farming any becomes a way of life has changed whole whole communities all over the world. But again, most of our work is right here in the United States and one of the kind of spectacular things. I think we did last year we raised fifty thousand dollars to help the folks in Puerto Rico who were struggling because of the hurricane, and, you know, the they import most of their their food, which is kind of crazy 'cause there's a lot of possibilities agriculture on Puerto Rico, and we work with a group there who are doing this sustainable agriculture, and we raise money for them and helped them to bring back there. They're growing season and produce food for the people of Puerto Rico, and I'm sure there's another area of challenge for you this year with the wildfires in California. I mean, we keep. Seeing how all the celebrities houses in Malibu are destroyed. There are a lot of people who don't have a lot of money who are homeless at this point and probably need food. Yes. We'll get calls, and then we have the national hunger hotline something we started close to thirty years ago, we millions of people to get emergency food..

"Visit Joe beningo. Join me and Evan Roberts today. We'll talk Yankees Red Sox. We'll also give away tickets with the Yankee thirty point and an admiration Wednesday as well. We'll also talk about the Mets nicotine in their late season solid play against the Phillies. And of course, the playmaker. The great Michael Irvin. Will join us as well. It's the midday show, Joe beningo and Evan Roberts ten to one sports radio. One nine FM and sports radio sixty six WFAN and WFAN FM New York. Sports. Okay. Back from the one eight seven seven three three seven six six six six. Frank is calling from the Bronx Frank here on the fan. What's happening? Hey, steve. How're you doing good Frank? How about yourself? I'm fine. Thanks. Calling up. I certainly like to see the Yankees make a strong at ten g apps a free agent at seasons. And then the off season, you know, to resign him. And as far as Gary Sanchez goes he has the glove on the one, you know, he has it in the wrong decision. I maybe he should switch put the glove on the. Something because I just don't understand the technique there, and and the fundamentals well, doesn't you know, whatever they're telling them whether it was Girardi last year or anybody this year is not is not adapting. He's not changing. He's not, you know, different with his approach behind the plate. The technique is all screwed up. And you know, it sees backhanding. He's not closing the five hold. It goes off the glove. Now. Sometimes, of course, you know, there's a mix up but having having said that there are just so many times were from technique, fundamental point of view shows. He's just not a natural cancer. And. This. I'm sure this has been well, I'm sure it's been taught damn I don't know if he's teachable as a catcher, I mean, certainly, he's got a very good. It's accurate for the most part. And you know, his his calling the game. I guess we'll get better with some time. But. Then again, I mean like everyone says it's tough to overlook it. Especially in any way, shape or form when the guy is hitting one eighty seven. Well, that's that. Makes it worse. It'd be different if he was sitting thirty thirty five home runs again and driving in and thank you for the call. If he was sitting and hitting hitting he went over to the average one eighty seven. I mean, I mean, he s to be embarrassed by that you would think and I mean, it's head scratching because Yankee fans and baseball fans. No, he's a dangerous man in the batter's box. But more dangerous to the Incas, and he is the opposition. So he's not hitting not catching Bob. Bob is calling from New Jersey. Bob, you're on the fan. What's happening? Steve galls, Connecticut. No big deal. Jerry's where your thoughts about Gordon zones in New England but Brady and Bella this and what about them? Well, I was just curious like I feel like he's got some issues. Obviously, we all know this. I'm just curious. I I'm I'm hoping. He can actually deal with the demon things that. I just think that you stick somebody with the patriots Donald is going to go away. So I hope that this poor guy, whatever it is whatever all. Well, it's a risk. I mean Brady doesn't have haven't Dolan anymore. Does it ever? Randy moss for that matter anymore. But but the bottom line is they could've used some offense of assigning. Josh, Gordon is a major major risk a huge Jackson. You know, made some comments after Gordon was traded to the patriots. And I think they did as much Gordon a favor. They tried the Browns tried and to be as patient, and a helpful and supportive with any and all issues with Josh Gordon, and they spent a lot of time trying to straighten out trying to get him to realize he has your life is important and. You know, your career is important, and they did everything over the course of the time that Gordon was with the Browns everything the Hugh Jackson, the entire organization tried to get him on the straight and narrow and he kept regressing. So now, you know, they trade him to the New England Patriots. It's a risk. They consider. I mean as a as a receiver. He can can be an has been with a great deal of talent. And the patriots have taken a chance, and you know, it's a little bit risky for them. But they could use they could straighten amount. I'm sure that Abella Jack in the organization is going to say to Gordon one misstep, and you're gone, and maybe your career is over. So I'm sure they're gonna make it clear that they he better be. In line with the way, the patriots do things or he'll be gone soon. Like right now. So and the patriots certainly I mean they had a tough time against Jacksonville. How about Bortles in that game? And now, I mean Bortles without four net, by the way, you know, has taken over the offense. And we saw how Bortles listen Bortles in the second half really couldn't generate any points against the New York football giants, but he did have the forty one yard run. But he generated absolutely no points whatsoever. Against the New York football giants but against the patriots. He had three of his four touchdown passes in the first half. He was just on fire. And for the game outplayed Brady, that's for sure. And revenge for the Jaguars against a new wing went on Sunday. And and Bortles was the man responsible forty through the four touchdown passes. He had thirty five yards on the ground. He threw forty five passes. He wasn't. He threw one interception of the forty five Vance's in New Orleans sack. Once what does that say about New England's defense? So you know, we all keep thinking that maybe a year from now New England will be ready to be had by another team in the AFC eastern division. Whether it's won't be buffalo. Oh, and you would like to think jets, according to me, not be them. And may not be Miami. It may be two years from now that somebody in the AFC east other than the patriots will win the division but a little bit of revenge for Jacksonville now too. And now they have serious designs on getting to the Super Bowl. And after two games. They look to be very serious front runner is to get themselves in Brady Brady had some trouble with with Dexter Fowler. Brady was not Brady and was gasping for air and on the run by arguably the best defense in the NFL with Jacksonville. So it was a little comforting to see the New England Patriots fall to Jacksonville thirty one to twenty. On sunday. And you hope whether you're a jets fan or not you certainly would like to see shady Brady and Bill Belda Gede take it on the chimney. Oh, it's interesting. Nobody complains about Belleci to with his press conferences, which make again, Pat Shurmur seem like the life of the party. But nonetheless when you win it doesn't matter your personality is a head coach. It doesn't matter. What you say in the game. And it doesn't matter whether you are happy with the interview that's being done or not the bottom line is you will become a very popular head coach once you start winning and what the giants fan. Thank thanks at this point in time. Is that Shurmur is clueless. Because he cannot get the ball to Odell Beckham junior. Who basically was a decoy who was invisible he could. Get the ball. I mean to Beckham forget about shepherd and again, the number one receiver. I mean, basically was Barkley. So you had a quarterback who at one point in that game on Sunday night was the leading rusher that was manning at the age of thirty seven with a couple of fourth in one snake? See was the leading rusher you had as the leading receiver barklay, and you're leading decoy was Odell Beckham junior. That's not how the giants should be a lining up with their stars. And so. After two games. The offense is worse than what everybody saw from year-ago. When now beginning to wonder whether or not I've had Shurmur was the right guy to pick and number two was Barkley the right choice to make what the number two pack. So again, these questions will get louder and they will become more prevalent. You know, if the losing continues. And so here is Mike francesa yesterday afternoon with Pat Shurmur, and Pat is taking the pad is not answering the questions because he's not gonna throw anybody under the bus. But he has to realize that he and his team are in front of the BAAs ride trying right in the glare of the headlights. And those are the headlights, and they're very bright had lied. It's in front of that buzz in New York City. So the giants will the giants need and look at the schedule already with USA Marcellus, and and watts and clowney coming up for a Houston team that is Owen to and we'll be playing their home game. Are Kershaw and Bumgarner completely Untradable?

"You know amazing how how things changed so fast funny gray pitches great the diamondbacks lose ten out of eleven now all of a sudden everybody that was talking about madison bumgarner or clayton kershaw the giants are to back the dodgers actually the games they're five dak you know it's it's just amazing how quite fascinating shape and by the way with both of those franchises i'll believe it when i you know with the yankees in nineteen let's see in two thousand eight with the yankees have ever considered trading derrick jeeter no so i mean i'll believe when the dodgers trip trae kershaw believe it or even bumgarner for that matter why take i think that the fact that very very very fair question when it comes to what they would do with these guys i think kershaw is a major concern now with the health issues this is the third straight year now he spent on the dl he's getting a little bit older he has a lot of innings on his arm but if you're the dodgers does all that matter the have to find a way if he opts out to keep them long term and with bumgarner i'm not as concerned about bumgarner because the two injuries have been so fluky one he falls off a dirt bike and the other he gets hit by a line drive and he's still relatively young and if anything as weird as this may sound these injuries may have benefited him in that it's keeping the mileage off of that left arm think about the three points a fair point but this is a guy that won three world championships three with the giants he is right now statistically the greatest world series pitcher of all time that's what he is statistically would they have the guts even if they're a bad team even if they are concerned about locking them up longterm with they have the guts to trade him so i think steve brings up a very good point that kershaw and bumgarner based on what they mean to those franchises maybe completely untradable from that standpoint let's go to gary in the bronx gary our you
