You know we told you yesterday in new york if you get vaccinated you get one hundred dollars when now he wants that to happen all over. Here's what he had to say today. I'm calling all stations mobile grammars to us funding they have received including from the american rescue plan to give one hundred dollars to anyone who gets fully vaccinated. I know the pain people get vaccinated. Might sound unfair to folks who've got vaccinated already. But here's the deal. If incentives help us beat this virus. I believe we should use them all. That is cool but they will get more people to get the vaccine if it was fully approved by the fda. I've been hearing a lot of people say that they want to wait until the fda fully approved the covert vaccine before they get it. I think that's more than fair right at the end. That was acknowledged to They released a statement at this time. No kobe nineteen vaccine has received full approval from the fda and this may be contributing to vaccine hesitancy across our country. We must ask the administration to craft any set mandate with care and consideration of our members individual contradictions as well as their closely held personal and religious beliefs. And this i was gonna say but the cdc did say that this is just as transmissible as the chicken pox. So delta various oh transferable chicken chickenpox. That's cool and i i don't think companies should mandate vaccine for employees. Fda fully approved. I think it's more than fair for people who say i'm not. I don't wanna get the vaccine until this fully approved by the fda. What about hospitals like if you work in hospital and then you have to deal with people who have compromised immune systems and so if you work in a hospital. I know a lot of people were concern in and saying you have to get vaccinated to work you can with long. If you've vaccinated or not dora. Yeah you definitely can't but it does lower the risk of getting infected even though they said this delta varian You know you ask. Anybody can still get it so everybody's has to mass indoors. They vaccines prevent more than ninety percent. A severe disease but it may be less effective at preventing infection. Transmission therefore more breakthrough mr community spread despite vaccination all of that. I'm sure that's true. Allison is i can understand people who say they wanna wait until is fully approved by the fda to get it. I think that's a very responsible in logical answer. I think so as well all right. Well that is your front page news. Kid expect people to just take something. That's not approve. i'm guessing that's that's looking force people to take something. That's not approve. That's more of a logical It's gonna be a microchip that's in my body. You know what i mean. Make me magneto. They created an agency to approve. These vans and approve these things to make sure people are safe. And that is forcing people or they want people to take it. and it's not approved vessels. I mean yeah it's an emergency but you know there's a whole process to get approval. And i don't think they can just do that. I just emergency us now. It takes longer if people want to wait until it's absolutely yeah. They're not not working on it but yes so all right well. That is your front page news. "So what. I'm saying is teams like toronto. Mad the magic the thunder in other warriors And so on so forth down the line are just not gonna get these players whatsoever. So i'll be surprised. If cunningham goes cows it seems like if let's say if green or Or moby gets taken number one if if if green goes number one then i the rockets take a number two. I'll be shocked at the rockets take Mobely At number two just because he already had christian would who had pretty year for two rockets as a A power forward and center is really going to look forward to seeing him play harder. But then that whole trade in the boggle happened so it would be irby answering the see cunningham with rockets or with the cavs but We'll see what the rockets seems like. They have a strong desire on a strong interest in Green who is only nineteen years old. You know young kid And sources say that His housing the pistons for workout in southern california and then travelling to detroit for a follow up visit And from what. I'm told he seemed he'd be happy going. Second though if that doesn't materialize or Kind of soil into it And most nba team suspect to be that case With some going as far as to describe that as being close to lock It doesn't help that. The rockets have been stonewalled attempts to bring in evan mobely and jalen soaks in private workout. So mobely angering don't seem and laud and in rockets and houston car is casting a wide net and attempt to capture as much player data in future transactions as possible. Something that has been met with a mixed reaction in the nba industry so without without report The the pistons are very high on green. On the rockets are incident all whatsoever Or let's say this. Evan mobile and jalen green art interested in rockets whatsoever rockets seemed like they wanna you know get mobely end suggs in fort workouts. But you know Seems like they have Other plans for other teams so Without i mean detroit might be a big landing spot for green You know he is a little bit younger on. Dan cade But they're both nineteen years old Both young kids not not much of an age difference but With that and go into the third pick here seems like mobely will be aloft for two cavs no matter what The cavs are one of the most active teams in the league on the trade. Talk front obviously With contacts and kevin love Getting a lot of rumors around their names and the trade market is seems like It seems like the rumor is That they're trying to make a overturns or trying to get that second. Pick in the top ten while pondering the viability of offering a rich contract section for Leading score colin sex and. It appears unlikely that they'll be moving out a top three slots so's i'll be surprised if they get rid of this third overall pick But mobis looking like a for sure Favorite in for third pick Provided sexton isn't Moved in. Let's say mobely. Mobis mobility premise skill in defensive versatility Could very well make him both intriguing intriguing long-term prospect on the board as well as a fit to build around cleveland's existing Rosser long-term term. Excuse me He can coaches in supersized size. Lineups with big man jared allen. I can picture that at least on. We'll see if Allen wool or it's a cavs will try to match any contract that amount tries to sign with You know with a douse mavericks. I've i've been seeing a toronto raptors team as written interested so we'll see how much our we'll get paid this off season. I've been hearing you know Four year four to five years One hundred million dollar contract so about two hundred million dollars a year so We'll we'll see what alan brings in free agency but outside of that and outside the top three in the rafters with jalen sug seems like lock their leno. Magic with scotty barnes to look at With a tude a with two picks in a top aide for the magic the freedom to take you know a long term view on a rebounding process That just started at the last years. Trade deadline the magic could go and several different directions on draft night. So we'll see what they do with. Oklahoma city thunder on seems like a lot of rumors of having coming out of their organization about a shake. Ilker alexander know possibly Getting traded and and for the number one overall pick so Seems like the Thunder would be interested in getting that number one overall pick and maybe taken cade. But i think that would be a huge huge blunder To try to get rid of a guy like shaquille herzog zander. I mean he's a very young prospect a in my opinion a top ten player under eight twenty five years old. He can play with the job. Answer trae young adult world But with that seems like they're high on the Shooting guard out yukon James Bo night And We'll see with that. You know i think i think kohima who michael to go and say warriors Seems like a a nice fit for the thunder but it seems like sam presi wants to get another guard. Alongside was shay in allure door. Maybe so we'll see where thunder go on draft night as well but i'm talking about the golden state warriors for a little bit into go into you know Frequency low bit here You know we'll the warriors get bradley beal. You know thousand little rumor here. Obviously the warriors having A couple of picks to piss in the top fifteen draft on they have the fourteenth overall pick and they have the south overall pick Overall pick from minnesota. So we'll see what happens here with the warriors in mba frenzy and at the trade line. has been rumored that you know guy like bradley. Beal is interested in going to another team but nothing is confirmed yet but with that Bradley beal on the warriors will be a a real charity. Watch i mean when you look at They're they're you know maybe death lineup there. You know for sure lockdown if you obviously going to have if everyone's healthy curry klay thompson I would assume bill a green and who filled out. Las spot depends on who the words would give up the having a lot of assets in you know james wiseman kelly oubre bray Down south draft picks. Like i said two of the top fifteen of picks Or to the top of picks top fifteen and With either give that up a or you know. James wise men andrew wiggins kelly oubre like i said but to china Turns into free agency here in talking about you know some of the best players available Into free agent market You obviously have a start off and at the starting from the bottom. Go and make my way up. You know spencer dinwiddie Having a player option Coming off of a partial. Acl tear suffered In this season's third game silent them..

"I've been reporting the whole way. That i think that detroit is going to undertake a process. And it's going to consider all avenues of her everybody. Wow i've heard some like people. Tell me that we really likes jalen green. I've heard some people. Tell me that we really like seven moberly now. Does he like them more than eight. Gutting in yes. I don't know what i mean. But i will say this from the jump. I absolutely grow as soon as the lottery got done. I will bet you that. The rockets make a attempt to get this number one overall pick if only because they have a real package that they can offer detroit they have a future detroit first round vic that they acquired in last year's draft they have all these fixed from james harden deal so if detroit has even a relatively similar grade on jalen green and evan moberly as they do on cake on again. I mean there's a world where. I think that a trade can happen but like to me. It's like a no brainer. I don't understand what anyone is talking about here. Kate cunningham is absolutely phenomenal f. And he's six foot eight when simple wingspan. And he's a three level score and he's an unbelievable vassar and he can defend it elite level character guy like. I don't understand why we would be going down this road at this point but it feels unless you think evan mobely is like a true dominant big. That could actually be something. If you're trying to build a team to stop john gupo. If you think. Evan mobely could be that five men for you defensively be that rim protection and maybe develop into a best case scenario. De'andre aiden but who knows maybe feels like the andrei works like that's not a it could be a good thing could be a bad thing. He's slightly passive. What what what is your read on. A i love mode is the what is your cop from overly. Yeah i really like to. I think like in terms of effectiveness. He's gonna end up. Something like chris bosh stylistically like i do understand why people bring up the honest thing. Because the way you ac- houston lot this year. Was they'd like run him in dribble handoffs where he was. Both the guy dribble handoff and he was the guy that would be like ending all off. Right they'd run them in screen and roles where he was the guy ambling ball and the guy screening enrolling right. So there's a lot of versatility to is aimed. He's an and get to the rim. He's an underrated passer as well. But i mean the biggest difference here in terms of what. Evan mobile brings to the table. Janas physically right. Janas has always had these enormous broad shoulders. Where even when he was skinny at nineteen years old. You kind of assumed that it was he was gonna fill out at the end of the day in the case mobely like i'm not saying he's not gonna game wakes i think he's at least gonna game like twenty pounds over the course in the next five six years but like i don't really see that like outlier physical strength where he's going to be able to bully guys all the way across. I understand people who are a little bit worried about him playing center term if only because he's not a very defensive rebound her right now interesting So with with with speaking stain on moby for a second how much do you think. fit matters in terms of I don't know i'm trying to flesh out. What might happen. This draft in assuming there aren't trades and shakeups and whatever we have cade going one detroit say jalen green to huston into so now at three. If you're the cavs you have to take mobile or suggs. If you're using the pick. whatever. I assume it's just you know like like did the draft goes like it is. There's no trade. Whatever how much do you think. If you're the cleveland cavaliers and that is where you find yourself at number three do you worry about having garland and sex and already on the team to where it's like do we wanna add. Jalen spoke to the mix Why don't we take a big guy so we kind of address some of our needs. Is that a thing that still happens in the nba. Do you think or is it. Just take the best player. We believe that jalen says better. We'll take them. We'll figure it out later. Maybe we trade one these other guys. I don't know we'll figure out later. Just take the best player. Look i think. Cleveland will take the best player at the end of the day. I do think every team feels little bit differently about this. I think some team certainly do draft for. I don't wanna say like significant fit. I i do think that a lot of teams in the nba mostly like if they have guys in the same tier they might start considering the way that they'll fit on the same team. They're not gonna go outside of their draft. Tears like or draft ranges in. Just take a guy because oh we have a little small forward or something like that right. In the case of leveland. Cleveland has had one of the worst defenses in the nba. Over the last. Three years and evan mobile phones for them he can be a defensive anchor. The only thing that worries me about cleveland. Right now is that jared allen is also free agent this summer and based on reporting at least coming out of cleveland they feel somewhat likely to extend him on a relatively big money deal. And if you're drafting evan. Moby don't really loved the idea of extending jared allen for seventeen million dollars ear while you already have kevin love's capital on this roster last night and just say kevin love because who knows kevin love's like it. It's a lot of money to tie up in the front court before we even get larry nance who. Before he got hurt. In february i thought was the most effective about all of them. Outside of evan. Who wasn't team. So it's a weird weird fit in cleveland. But i don't know that. Cleveland is far enough along in its rebuild to where you pass on the guy that you think is best. I would take jalen. I understand them. Maybe evaluating mobile ireland than jaylen songs. Yeah i was gonna say. I think suggs marketability in cleveland. That's a great play you also. He's a great defender. So you get him and you say he is the primary guy for our team. He's gonna lead us. We signed jared allen to be that rim protection. Now you have a legit big on that team. I mean i like to fit with suggs. A whole lot more there and then i love the idea of moby going forward to the raptors because they need a center and you made the chris bosh comparison already. I feel like you know. He goes to toronto and actually fits in there for. I think i have the answers to why all the sudden cade going number one might not feel like the locket..

"Uab l. or see him alongside tires halliburton at the nineteenth and evan mobile and jalen green. They're on the same team in. Kate was arguably the best player So we've seen all these stops. He's a stud at every single spot. And you know i. I just think that he deserves a little bit more. Credit for like the transformational star. I really think he's gonna be mike who's the one or two players in this draft. That teams seem really polarized about love. Them hate them but can't figure out what to think of them. Yeah i think there's there's a few. I mean we touched on a couple of them book night is kind of one of these. These polarizing guys You know. I think jalen johnson from duke is is somebody that that teams are trying to figure out. You know they're trying to figure out One like how good is he right. You know he had the abbreviated year. You know at duke bounced around a little bit in high school You know we had him as high as four at one point this season and so when you talk about a guy who six nine six ten with that body and versatility You know you'll hear things like aaron gordon right when it comes to to jalen johnson. Then you'll also see like okay. Is he consistently competitive you know. Why didn't he show up and every single game at duke. Not when he left but like when he was actually playing. Why was it one day. Twenty five fifteen and six and then the next it's three five and to you know On a team that could use him to produce more when when he was there. So he's a guy you hear. All over the board you know zaire williams from stanford is is another one. Kind of tantalizing wing. Who's getting a little bit of buzz. you know there's a big kid from turkey alpern shangkun analytics models top five like. He's he's off the charts You know you see glimpses of like a baby yokich. Sometimes he put up monster numbers. And then you look and say okay. He's a slow six ten center So there are a lot of names like that. I think are are all over the board and in one last one. I'll give you who. I think is getting some buzz in the top. Ten is josh giddy australian national team. Six eight point guard. He's one of the only players in australian mb l. History to have back to back triple doubles lamelo ball. The other one And i i was in vegas and watched him practice for like two and a half hours and seeing him against matisse stibal one possession and then joe ingles. The next was pretty eye opening. So i think you could see him get looks as high as number seven to the. Where's the video breakdowns. You do with players. Mike and sit down with guys and watch tape with them and talk through how they see the game how they see perhaps their role in the nba where they can improve what they're really good at. I know the teams find them. Invaluable because for many teams it's access they can't get to a prospect or it's additional access that they may or may not have with a draft process. What have you how valuable has happened for you to really understand and make your evaluations of players based on not just sitting talking with a guy but getting on the film and really breaking down tape with them and and getting a sense of how they see themselves how they see themselves fit into a league in a role that might be ahead for him. I think it's huge. Having basically an hour sometimes with david on mitchell we sat down for two hours and and we could have kept going In at that point you get to see okay. This kid one remembers every single play from this past season. Like every single play and two. Oh you has been watching. Drew holiday has been watching colorado. He has been watching donovan mitchell. And you get a look at One how they see the game and then to how they handle criticism the stuff on youtube. That's twenty five minutes long. That's like the best hits but we go for about an hour and a lot of times. I'll be brutally honest and and just try to you. Know tell guys prospect young prospects like these are there is you really need to improve in. Here's proof of that right. And you see guys who understand that and then you guys who run from it or guys who make excuses and to me the players who can always like take that constructive criticism and and apply it and say how they've been trying to tackle those shortcomings Really really impressed me in so for me. It's it's been invaluable. It's it's my favorite thing. I do In this entire space a getting to know these guys on a personal level. Get into just talk basketball in a longer form. That's not just a ninety second quick hitting things so i love it. You know team teams. Say they they enjoy as well. I think the players do too. So you know it's a lot that goes into it but I think it's an important part of the process and it's something that teams do more of now like at the combine like i. I've had players come up to me. And say hey. I'm really glad we did that when we did. Because like five or six teams showed me a lot of the same place that you did So i think it's becoming more and more part of the process mike. The pandemic and how it impacted scouting and evaluation of players your as limited as the teams. Were you like. They weren't able to go out. You weren't able to go out and then eventually it started to open back up. Are we seeing. Do you feel any impact or catch up or is there going to be are. We are teams. Maybe putting a greater premium on one workout in one day versus having seen them play in person over an extended period. What's the pandemics impact on the evaluation in this two thousand twenty one draft. I think it's a big part of it because you don't get those early touch points you know for me like if i was running a front office i think getting is on prospects as many times throughout the process. Possible is so important like you can't just show up at the ncaa tournament nc. Evan moby play twenty minutes and say oh. I got them figured out. You know like you have to go see him at usa basketball camp you have to go see him At the nike hoops summit for a week and teams weren't able to do that. There was no nike hoops summit. There was no mcdonald's. All american there was no jordan brand and those are times when you know even executives are. They're sitting down watching in getting that. I look at them. Like james weisensee good example of that even though he played just three games team psalm for a week straight at hoops summit. They saw him playing amongst his peers. Scrimmaging every single day playing a game Against some of the best players in the world in their age group. So that's why when you look at a guy like jalen johnson. It's hard because i didn't see him nike hoops summit. I didn't i barely saw at usa. Basketball i was lucky enough to see him. A little bit on nike. you. I b l But you just don't have those early reference points to lean on. And i think it's played a role in this year's draft and i think it's also going to continue to play a role in these next coming classes as well. Yeah it's remarkable. And i think this is again a year where there's a lot of folks i think you jay bilas Jonathan think this might be as deep of a draft as we've had since two thousand in three and their main probably not a lebron in the strap there probably won't be a lebron in any draft perhaps ever again. There may never be anybody quite like him again. But the depth of it and i think the fact that You know you talk to teams. Who are picking in the thirties and the forties..

"The, your Twitter timeline, I think they're more resigned to the fact that Iraq is going ahead of them. Cuz like, look at the end of the day, the reason the Raptors are trying to prove, they love him. Well, the reason the Raptors, did you say that the reason the Raptors didn't make the playoffs this year is because they didn't have a sinner trip. So, I got yeah, they need a center more than anything at the end of the day. So I think that the Raptors would take Evan Mobley if he is on the board. Like, that's what's stated something really dumb happens, and Scottie. Barnes goes number three in, both jail, and slugs, and Heaven. Mobilier There. For some god-forsaken reason. I think they would take Evan mobile. You ever Down song. Yeah. I like the pairing too. Because you're right, they do have the whole there and temperatures serviceable but it's it's obviously an upgrade when you have to have a guy like that and Pascal siakam next to them. I still. Yep. Hi on. On Evan Mobley. I think I've made that clear. He does a lot of things over the court. Defensively is fantastic. Great, second jump, passes the ball really well. The jumpers is okay, it's not bad. If you can stretch out for that'll really improve. What do you use as a prospect gets up and down the court? It's just the strength to. We need that to come around and if he goes forth and he puts the strength of the shooting a defense, I know it's a lot of ifs, lot of question marks. If he puts it all together, we can be laughing that he end up going forth in this draft and I'm also a touch curious and the the recency bias worldly, we live off and don't kill me over this. If this youngest Championship run has any GM's with visions of their head that maybe this guy for kind of be shades of this and needs to be treated as such. He's not young but like, that's kind of like the crazy pie-in-the-sky upside. This could end up being here as the the highest net result. Does that bump up his stock at all? Well, I'll be honest. Like I think his game is prob Be closer to Jonas has than some of the other names that have been comped to him. Right. He runs a ton of dribble handoffs like he likes to isolate on the top of the key and then drive back left or right-handed right? You know, can run ball screen and roll like and then roll to the basket heart he's just he's so multi versatile and multi-talented at that size with the ability to ambidextrous Lee handle the ball. He doesn't quite have the vision, the honest as a passer, but like he's good passer. Um I actually see that quite a bit. It's like almost if you stick a listicle e at least he's not this as a player. I think he's going to fall in just like a step below these guys in terms of overall effectiveness, but stylistically. It's like if you combined Anthony Davis and Janis a little bit. Oh, the kids. That's a good Prospect if we get those guys. And if we get on the same strength and conditioning program that you're honest and be honest graphic turned into the. Any day this year off. Frankly, exactly. Yeah. If you if you put on Thirty pounds and Jonas is a rookie versus chairmanship Jonas, or in a 50-piece, very different players, and very different people. And, and the honest really sneak out of the shell even more..

"So they're willing to get rid of those for those first round picks. I don't think the cleveland cavaliers would be good enough regardless if they bring in kate cunningham so maybe those first round picks have some value especially if they're for the next four years. I don't know if they have those picks on rub. They've traded them away or whatnot but if something like that does come in then. Maybe you think about it. You know because. I mean if you got a good young player and you get four first round picks on top of that then it's worth listening to but they should still be leaning on training on drafting cade cunningham. He's got all those skills that you want in a star player. He can shoot the ball off the dribble. You know all those other things. I've said he he's got an on top of that. I just love the fact that he he's a willing passer and he's at that length with that skill. I it's something that you don't see in the nba very often so they should certainly draft him first. Overall another guy that has been considered one of the better players in this draft jalen suggs from gonzaga. He had an incredible freshman season. Averaged about fourteen and a half points per game five rebounds four and a half assists on about thirty four percent from three and he can do a little bit of everything on that offense event. I mean you can pass the ball. He's eight a very tough player. Despite a six four small frame He can do a little bit of everything like shoot off the dribble Get inside and score tuft buckets and he's a competitor you know. And he's got some great body strength like he looks like a small guy but he is strong and he can finish through contract through contact and he can rebound the bombing at six four to rebound to have five rebounds a game he can easily be one of the better rebounding guards in the league You know in some time and and there there's a lot of people seeing superstar ceiling I could see it but there just needs to be a little bit more development in his playmaking even though four and a half assists per game is not bad He certainly has that ability but he had the ball in his hands a lot throughout the season. So we'll have to see how that works better defenders in the nba But i do think jalen sucks is going to be a very solid player in the nba. One that i'm very excited to watch. I my centers and evan mobely from. Usc has incredible skill. I mean he is a lanky guy. He's not the strongest at seven feet tall. He's almost he's only two hundred and fifteen pounds but he is easily the best defender on this list. I mean his length his ability to to block shots. He's quick enough to make switches and guard on the perimeter. There was a comparison made during one of his games. That he's like a chris bosh. I can see it. He has the same body type. He's got that touch from the jump shot. He's got that mid range game on lock. His three point shooting could use a little bit of work but you look at his former. He's going to end up turning into a decent three point shooter. And then you when you talk about his ability to rebound the ball be forced down low. Be a solid shot. Blocker a really good team. He passes the ball very willing passer. He averaged almost two and a half assists last season He can certainly do so many things. And i just want him to go to a good situation right. Now he's projected to be the fourth overall pick or one of those top four picks and out of the top four. I think is best situation would probably be maybe toronto because toronto does have chris boucher but evan mobely has that next generational talent is ability. He's kind of similar to a chris boucher but he's got way he's already way more advanced in those skills at the age that they were at like you know when. You're comparing the age like chris boucher. I think he's what twenty one. Already or twenty evan mobile. i don't think he's even is nineteen. i think i think he's nineteen. It's just it is really tough because those are very similar players. Maybe in that case maybe they go to a houston rockets team but the houston rockets. I'm sure they're trying to get a guard 'cause you know they're trying to move onto a next generation there another era. They don't want to stick with john wall. Eric gordon The christian would is a very solid big. So maybe they're trying to get a guard that can go along with him We'll just have to wait. And see but evan moby. I think has a lot of potential to be one of the better centers in the league. jalen greens also a very good player in this draft One of the best better prospects. i think he's ranked number two in in terms of the prospects. He's got incredible scoring ability and he had he makes it look good. He's one of the only guys He's one of the first guys to one of the first five star prospect from high school to go to the g. league to take that pathway and i i'm sure if if that becomes a regular thing jalen green going to be considered the pioneer of that and i mean he looked great in his g. league season. I mean the guy can can score in a bunch of ways off the dribble inside the pain and he's got the dribbling ability to be able to get by..

"Thousand twenty one. Nba draft picks one through thirty prospects. One through thirty after talking to a number of nba. So you can go over to the website and get the full accounting of what's happening here. But this post the nba draft combine and so gathering intel. Who helped themselves hurt their stock out. Players did an interview athletic testing measurements. All of that stuff is factoring into big board six point. Oh and i kind of want to walk you through. Some of the what i see is significant changes that are starting to to take place on the big board six point. Oh and and this will impact the mock draft but there's a difference between the big board and the backdraft the big board. I'm assessing how players are just ranked when stacked up against each other whereas mock draft. You take into account team needs what. Nba teams are thinking. And so this is a pure form of how you project prospects. It's not my favorite. That's the draft. Here's column and that's going to be coming soon but for right now we're looking at how these guys just rank head to head talked a number of different people about this look. There's not necessarily consensus among teams. And so you try to aggregate based off what people are talking and sometimes if there's a bit of a tiebreaker i'm there to sort of make that tiebreak and i wanna walk through a number of a number of issues that are starting to come up some things that i was hearing coming out of the chicago draft combine. The first is look as much talk as we've talked about maybe cade cunningham not being the consensus number one picking the draft. It's still highly likely that he goes one. The he goes to the pistons. Or if the pistons really decide they went jalen -gree green and they get a great trade offer that the team that would be moving up would be taking cape cunningham questioning whether cade cunningham is the clear cut number. One i don't think is a disservice to cunningham. I think it reflects a very strong draft. That the top with evan mobely with jalen green and frankly jalen suggs. And maybe scotty barnes and jonathan kamenga as well. These are really talented. Top of the draft one of the most talented that we've seen before and pointing out the differences between these prospects where they're ceilings are where their floors are all of that is just part of overall process of what's happening actually an nba teams right. Now they don't just go to mock drafts and say look hey all the metrics say kicked cunningham's number one so we're going to pick him number one they are doing all of the background work. They're talking to people going over film again and again and again. Now they're talking realistically about head to head how these players fit and should that the thing that all they're going to be doing interviews. They still gave medical testing anybody that wants to say. Oh look it's just the done deal that detroit's taking cape cunningham number one. I think that's actually reflective of what process all of these teams go through. Is it likely that they're going to take cade cunningham number one. I feel that it is even though for me. Probably there's a closer gap between cunningham. Evan mobely and jalen green than maybe for some others. I still think it's likely that that's what detroit does at one. But they're going to do their due diligence. And i don't think that that's a slide on kate cunningham or anybody else that this is going to happen or that we can talk about players relative strengths and weaknesses and as much as i love cunningham as much as he's been number one on my board all year. I anticipate that he will be number one on my last big board on draft night. It's not like he is a perfect prospect. He's a very complete prospect but he lacks elite athleticism and that high turnover rate is a question mark about him his he really the lead point guard. Is he really that primary ball handler that we talked about earlier in the year. You can go any way that you want on that and say look at oklahoma state. There's a lot of reasons behind it but it's a legitimate question and teams are asking it as well that doesn't mean he's not going to be number one but i think those are the things that you factor in evan. Mobely still sitting there at consensus number two though. Ironically you know how the draft plays out if you're mocking this it's true that houston has an interest in jalen green. It's possible that they select jalen green over evan mobile. It's also possible that the rockets could talk about trading as well and so having a consensus number. one number. Two guy doesn't always mean on a specific team that he's the number one or number two guy on that specific team and as it turns out. I think there are some questions for detroit about that at one. I think there's definitely questions in houston about that. I actually have evan. Mobely mocked the rockets at number two however green is in the picture there but to me mobile. When you talk about seven footer with versatility the athleticism the ability to protect the rim. Build a the score off the balance. I think he's going to ultimately be a stretch big down the road. I actually think that not only. Can you play four and five that there might be some crazy scenarios on certain teams where he might even be a wing. That's how skilled mobely is. And what a freaky is you. Consider all of that. Those are unicorn type players at the next level. And certainly evan mobely to me is is worthy of a number one pick. He's number two on the big board and then jalen green. I think is really rounding out the top three right now. I think that he's in the mix with detroit. He's in the mix with houston he certainly going to be in the mix with cleveland. Toronto and orlando. But if you're talking to at least the folks that i'm talking to. He seems to have kind of gotten to that space pretty securely at three on most boards that doesn't mean there aren't some teams that having four or five or maybe a team that has to and maybe even one but that's sort of where the bulk of the folks that i'm talking to have jalen green right now and obviously the most electric score in the draft one of the best athletes in the draft. Has that sort of star power. What have you. He sits at three. Now here's where things get more interesting. It's been something that i've been saying all year. This is a five person draft at the top and then jalen suggs jonathan. Commingle sort of round out that five. There's times that i had suggs as high as three. And then scotty. Barnes has sort of been sitting there at six seven through most of the big board process as sort of the next here. I just don't believe that. That's what i'm hearing from. Teams anymore that they see him in that next year. I do think some teams have a cutoff now with sort of cunningham mobely and green bean in a tier and then they're being a drop here after that and some teams have all of these guys in the same tier but scotty barnes is not only moved in the conversation. I i think again. There's there's a lot more spread out here between suggs barnes and in certain cases. Jonathan kamenga that barnes. The sort of moved into that. It's the more they dug into their film studied interviews in chicago. The more they came away really impressed with barnes ability to play four. Sounds crazy but like maybe five positions. He's got a charisma personality. One of the most unique players. I've.

Hey, Rod, appreciate the time man, enjoy the enjoy the games throughout the rest of the playoffs and certainly looking forward to the draft and seeing with the well, I don't know There's a lot of drama at the very number one overall pick. But certainly if there's a trade, certainly looking forward to seeing what the Pistons do here over the next month or so, thanks. No, certainly he accused is going to be waiting with bated breath to. I appreciate it. Thanks. So, Yeah, no doubt about that. Yes, Absolutely. Rod. Appreciate it very much. Yeah, well, he he intrigued me. All of a sudden there with Detroit might want to trade and goes, you know, but you moved down for the number two pick And you maybe get Evan Mobile. I'm like, Okay, now he's got me thinking. And I know this is a national show. But I get selfish. Every now and then I start thinking about my own teams, the Houston Rockets and I'm thinking. Oh, okay. I had already kind of sold myself off a Kate Cunningham. And now what you're saying Rod is that there's an opening here. Where they might be amenable to You know the number two pick with a little sugar sprinkled on it. By a little sugar. I mean, probably multiple first round picks. I'm cool with being a two. I like Kate Cunningham as a player. I'm not wild about Kate Cunningham as a player like he's not. He's not a player that did I feel like I got to move up from two to go get him and gut future drafts to go do it. He disappeared a lot of times when I was watching him down the stretch. Watch the big 12 tournament and you know, and he was on an Oklahoma State team that knocked off Baylor. That was good in the tournament. Remember watching Oklahoma State in the tournament? I'm watching and And he wasn't really like separating himself from the pack in a lot of these games like a number one overall pick. Should he just I don't get this massively explosive transformational vibe off a Kate Cunningham. Good player. But I'm cool with being a two and then getting you know Evan Mobili or Jail and green. Like Jalen Suggs, too. I just don't like him as much as those other two guys. Would say you 855 to 1 to four CBS, if you if you want to get in on the program, 855212 4227 if you if you want to get in. We still got a lot to get to on the program. For college sports, including the CIA. It looks like just kind of throwing up the white flag on a an open pasture of income that should have been there for players. Long, long time ago. So we'll talk about that. If you want to grab a line would love to hear from you 855 to 12 for CBS 855.
Why USC's Evan Mobley Is the Best Big in the 2021 Draft
"For the next two months in advance of the two thousand twenty one nba draft that is scheduled for july twenty nine. We're going to be dedicating an episode of beyond college basketball. Podcast to notable prospect. Same way we did in advance of last year's nba draft. We started this series last week with a twenty two minute profile of kate cunningham. If you missed it and you're interested don't find it today. We will turn our attention to another prospect who seems like lot to go in the top five of the two thousand twenty one nba draft. His name is evan mobile. he's a seven foot center. Who averaged sixteen point four points. Eight point seven rebounds. Two point nine blocks in two point four assists in thirty three point nine minutes per game in his one season at usc shop fifty seven point eight percent from the field. He was the pac twelve player of the year freshman of the year and pac twelve defensive player of the year. He was a consensus second team. All american who led usc to the elite eight of the ncaa tournament. Most mock drafts have him second or third in this. Two thousand twenty one. nba draft. So let's start with this dead leg. Is evan mobely to you clearly. Unquestionably the best big in this rat. Yes i think. That is unquestionable. We agree. I mean at this point. How about this. How about this for a quick complica- compare him to a recent big one. He played against and was good against james wiseman to me mobilize more versatile player with the higher upside and a year ago in a weaker draft. Class what's interesting is wise men went second moby might wind up going second or third we mentioned in the previous partly sided. I don't think he's going to go. I in this draft because of centers. And how they're viewed and how their role is changing By the year but it is interesting like if you put mobile wiseman even knowing what wise. Men's out like a year ago i would have said the same thing i think i would still take mobely over wise men coming out of college and we agree on the sofa. If we agree there yes mobis got to be the best big available in this

"To poster Evan Mobile E just On the wall as he drove in and posterized Frank kept no, my goodness. USC is into the elite eight up. Next is Gonzaga tomorrow today, Baylor in action against Arkansas, ESPN analyst LaPhonso Ellis. Baylor has the best backcourt in all of college basketball. Gerald Butler, Macy O T. Davion Mitchell. They're terrific on both ends of the floor. They really get up in your dog you for 94 ft. You cannot turn that basketball over Arkansas's guards of pretty good to Moses Moody, one of the best freshmen guards and all of the country. Jalen Tate is really good at getting down the lane, the issue with Arkansas and five of their last their last five losses. They turned that basketball over 17 times. I mean, you can't do that against the Baylor team because they get out and get in transition there to the rim or spotting up from threes, where they're the best three point shooting team and all of Commons basketball at 42%, and they make it 11 per game. Dickie V's thoughts on the elite eight coming up Just over an hour from now he's on Cage's 7 15 Eastern time. It's Monday, March 29th birthday of Earl Campbell. "Game of the day. Just a one point lead for the second seed in the East region. Alabama over Iona 33 32. Let's get you inside. Bankers Life Fieldhouse 11, seeded Drake leading us See 28 26 Here's Dave Fashion. Danny Manning. They've had three opportunities for AnAnd. One couldn't make him as we welcome to those of you just joining us across our network. It is 28 26 Drake leads USC with 5 11 to go the winner to face Hands US on Monday. One on one situation here for Evan Mobley is free throws up and it rattles around and goes in. That's the first made free throw for USC. They missed their previous four Mobley, a 6.6 rebounds, two blocks for USC player of the Year Defensive player of the Year in freshman of the year in the Pac 12. Meanwhile, Joseph Yes, of food leading the way for Drake scored 16 points four or 53 Drake coming off the winning It's Wichita State in the first four, the first N C a a tournament winning 50 years for the Bulldogs. Totally second free throw is good, and the game is tied at 28 with five minutes to go in the first half. Yes. A few across the time line picked up 30 ft. Out by eating drives right side of the lane gets bumped. Puts the shot up right side won't fall off the background, rebound and kick back out extra 20 here. Or drink. Yes, If you left hand dribble on the right wing Mobley shadows him as well. So he fires to the left side. For starters who has opened Didn't take the three drives deep into the paint shot clock in four starts in trouble gives it up yesterday. Right wing Voices three and it's an air ball. This will be a shot clock violation turnover by Drake U. S C, one of the best defensive teams in the country and showed it on that. Possession. Yes, they did. They were flying around making multiple efforts and defended well enough with Drake could not get a signed up for a shot clock violation. 80 brings it into the front court goes to heaven, Mobley and high post right It's not the way buy him a lot of bounds on the far side. Interesting matchup. Hemphill was Evan Mobile. Until given up about seven inches at Hemphill of veteran Signor Mobley, a freshman for 25 to go first half game tied at 28 80 drives right side locks. Revenue only makes a nice over the shoulder catch and then a beautiful touch on an eight footer that goes down with the right man. I was more impressed with the kids passed with little bit off target. He reaches up catch with his.

"Oregon is on a collision course for potential matchup with Iowa. And they're the type of team that could give Iowa fits. Ultimately, this conference has been put in a position where they've come out and they silence a lot of critics. Early on. Nobody was given U C L A The time of day against Michigan State. The narrative was very simple, and it was amongst the consensus. Tom Izzo in March. You don't bet against Tom Izzo in March and U C L. A storm back. And you saw a great performance from Colorado against the Red hot team where again everyone bought into the narrative that Georgetown was his team of destiny that was playing above itself. Well, when you shoot 23 of 23 from the line against Villanova in the conference tournament regression is eventually coming. What I was surprised with Colorado Matt more than anything else. They are an excellent home team, and they have a big benefit it playing an altitude where teams come in there, and they may run out of gas in the second half. Like most teams, they're not as good on the road as they are at home. I was wondering if that would get them in Indiana. If not having the altitude edge would show itself and it didn't they came out and they were incendiary today against Georgetown. They shot 64%. From deep Now the big question moving forward is whether or not they can keep shooting like that moving forward. You know the thing about the these performances so far for me, at least, is I am surprised how much they won by. I mean, they're just they just they pound these damn organ states went over Tennessee. You know if it wasn't for Kentucky and do Tennessee be the most disappointing team in the country, they have final four talent. I got two guys will go in the top 20 in the NBA draft. They don't just lose in the first round. The game was never competitive at any point during it. I'll be interested to see for me. The team that's interesting is USC because I think Evan Mobile, first of all that bracket is open. I think Kansas right now is up 75 68 on eastern Washington. We'll see if they pull it off. But USC can easily win that game. And I think, Get to the sweet 16 and every Mobley course I gotta be Drake first today, But Evan Mobley is the dude that soon we're all gonna be talking about because he has sort of modern. Basketball skills. I'm really surprised Now. The counter to that Joe is the A. C. C. The SEC is one and four to start and the only win is Syracuse. Who people might argue shouldn't even be in the tournament. The fact well, actually two and 44 state just one but yesterday was one and four. This is the premier basketball conference in theory, but what we've seen is that this year, it was not a good A CC, and that also shows why Duke's performance was so poor In a C. C. That what him Good. They were still even worse it precisely. I think you could look at the big 10, and we could have some questions as to whether or not the big 10 was a bit overrated. Maybe we could look at the Pac 12 and say, where they perhaps a bit underrated. We can have those discussions. The SEC was flat out bad this year. That's it. There's no way to slice it any other way. They were bad. UNC was a favorite yesterday against Wisconsin. A lot of people like him to win. That game was constant punch them in the face early. And ran them out of the building. I mean, ran UNC out of the building and that's U. N c story season. In a nutshell. The highs and the lows..

"Got a top of the key enjoys et on his back forces his way into the teardrop. No good rebounded. Peterson and Peterson will look to run it out from the Trojans. Arizona does well to get back on defense. Peterson inside the Goodwin Goodwin will hop Ital Lion comes the right hand push out, no good and another rebound for Ira Lee in Arizona. Trojans one and done on every possession cannot get on the offensive glass so far. Brown gives up the Lelio take a mid range jump shot. That's no good. There's an offensive rebound for Arizona, though it comes out to Madeline Madeline gets fouled, and that will at least mercifully allow Andy Enfield to make some subs as this is a bad mix on the court for the Trojans, and they're getting exposed at both ends of the court. And it looks like he'll come back with both Mobley brothers. Plus no Obama try to get some offense going for this team that has just six points in nearly seven minutes of action. Benedict Majerten, averaging 10 a half points per game, He makes the first free throw Five rebounds and shooting 42% from three very impressive start to his Arizona career, 24 points and 11 rebounds last time out in their win over Washington State. So the five on the floor now for the Trojans. They can't figure it out. They have six on the floor. Now he sits down. Peterson, Ballymun, Mobley, Mobley. And Goodwin. So it looks like Andy Enfield going with the big lineup. Sean Miller counters by coming back with Jamal Baker, a smaller player, So Andy Enfield still going with a Unorthodox lineup as we don't see Max out bunk polo. Would typically be the guard to come in in the situation. Both free throws. Her maid is 13 6, Arizona. USC is Mrs last four shots. Turnovers have been a problem is well, they really can't find any consistent. Died of offense so far. Evan Mobley, the top of the key looking a screen from Ballymun, and kicks it to Evan Mobile is gonna take a long two at once, in and out, not a good shot from Evan of Force. Arizona has it going the other way. They have some numbers that they want to rush. They don't Instead, they'll go inside to Jordan Brown Brown taking his time backs down. Goodwyn comes the right hand hook shot. It's up there softly and caresses down. There's two more for Jordan.

"By Carter, Hollinger and now it's USC going the other way. I'm going to pull on the move comes to the right. Lock looks to back down his man runs right over him. It's an offensive foul, so potency to get back to moving the basketball, which they did so well. Build this lead up on not play one on one, and then the infield is going to some subs to impress upon that point, no doubt. So Toby Anderson Peterson, Isaiah White with two fouls back in the court, and then Evan Mobley in Shiva's Goodwin in the front court, so in the infield, using his bench liberally in this first half The Trojans continue to lead by 22 with the gun. A little quiet offensively, haven't scored over two minutes Band at the time. The key gets Mobley off his feet. Drives inside. Teardrop is good. Nice move by Josh Bannon. 69 freshman from Melbourne, Australia. Who wanted you 20 gold medal. The Australian Championships. 20 point game Children's could use something at this end to get the mojo back. Peterson on the right wing. Looking inside, having Mobley and nobody sees a triple team finds a cutting. Isaiah Whitehead dunks it down with two hands. That's the basketball that got us going in this game one teammate helping another, and this time it's Evan Mobley, the distributor, and Isaiah White, the finisher. Baskets and the other end except Evan Mobile on the switch and wants no part of him. Partner. Hollinger almost loses it now that go inside the Steadman with Goodwin on his back comes to the left hand hook shot doesn't get the role. She has good one who cleared the defensive glass outlet. The Peterson and Drew Peterson is into the front court. Peterson comes to the free throw line almost loses, it does lose it, and they'll say another USC turnover. So the Trojans getting a little sloppy with the basketball. Now that is turnover number 785 turnovers in the last three or wait for USC, So we mentioned that they had seven assists and three turnovers. Now they have eight assists, eight turnovers. At 17 turnovers on Wednesday night. Whitney on the drive is back in the game, kicks it out to Saturn. White moves on O'Bannon and Bannon knocks it down. He's been the best Montana players so far. The left handed freshman Josh Bannon knocks down the first three of the game for the Grizzlies and cuts us. He's leading 19 ball into the Goodwin Goodwin, looking to attack kicks out to Ethan Anderson. He'll take a top of the key three and Ethan will splash it through. He's been working on that shot. Ethan Anderson had a triple the second half on Wednesday, and he knocks one down here and us He's lied his 22. Isaiah White picking up Carter 100 prices driving baseline and white comes back, but part of Hollinger finishes over the top of them and it's a 20 point game. Isaiah White runs the other way. Quick passed a good one too hot for him, and I'll stay right here with the Trojans, but not a great pass. Goodwin was not ready for it Time out on the floor. Three teams left in the first half. USC in command 37 17 to the Trojans. Listening the USC men's basketball in the Trojans media.

"Baptist Lancers The Trojans coming off in excellent season, the last five all told, 109 wins. That's the best five year run in program history. This USC team has replaced 80% of its scoring 76% of its rebounding and 75% of its minutes. So really all told, Three quarters of the team needs to be replaced on so we've seen a lot of new faces here tonight. Most of us who have Very well so far. Virgins were picked to finish sixth in the Pac 12. Not sure Really, really knew what to make of this team. So I'm not surprised that they were just picked up finish in the middle of the pack, and we have the talent to get another top four finish in the Pac 12. It would have been the fourth seed in Vegas last year of that tournament had been played. Yazidi will walk it up for the Trojans playing point having Mobley the top of the key now you on the left wing direct traffic, trying to find heaven, Mobley but can't even dribble. And now I'm kicking the Evan Mobley. Evan Mobley fakes. The three drives inside comes to the right hand push shot gets a role that Evans back in the scoring column. He got off to a fast start. You've been quiet since he now has nine first half points. And USC is lead is 6 34 28 self touch there by the big fella roll. He's got knowledge being guarded by Evan Mobile at the top of the key. Everything for the lancers is on the perimeter. 20 of 26 shots from three. There's an attack inside. No good on the spinning layup, but there's an offensive rebound and they go back inside the wait. Wait cross toward pass, Armstrong turns down a three And the lancers will reset. Coaches can't play the defensive glass. And now Elijah Thomas has a chance to attack spends the link good pass to Wade, who makes a left hand layup so Elijah Thomas creates for his front court. Teammate Malik Wait and the lancers pay off their offensive rebound with a bucket. 34 30 Trojans can't shake this team in the first half of least Isaiah White women for USC at the top of the key, right on across overlooking a drive inside spins the lane for some a lot, right hand shot. It's good, I say, a white off to a confident start. He has five points into a three shooting, and the Trojans leaders six again led by as many as nine. The attack is Ralph Cross Court Pass to Armstrong. His three is good tray Armstrong sophomore from Tasmania, and he has been a devil so far tonight. Armstrong has nine points, three made threes. It's just a three point game, Eddie. Tough pass inside Trojans Get a bail out call there looked like a turn over all the way. Instead, she has good one will go the line and shoot two visits a double bonus situation now for USC. What do you mean? You don't know me very well. Shiva's Goodwin started his college career at Charleston and then went on to Wofford. He's been in the south for his college career that comes all the way across countries and this is short on the first free throw. So Obama's checking in for his hair white Trojans from the free throw line so far tonight not great. Three of six Taj. He made both of his. But Isaiah Mobley split a pair. Goodwin does the same. Excuse me. Peterson was the other one who made the free folk double team in the front court. Coaches almost get a steal. Instead, it's another three for morality. Knocks it down, Tyrrell. It's a one point game now. The lancers just keep chucking up threes. They have nine first half triples, and they're right there with the Trojans 1 10 to play in the first half of play polo to Mobley. Free throw line. Jumper is good. I've been mostly He's in the double figures rallies. The game's leading scorer has 12 to correct myself. Armstrong has six, but he made three threes. Rowan Armstrong owners could take another one. This one from well beyond MBA range. And now the lancers or even a 39. And Raoul is feeling it. He has 15 On. Somebody needs to get up in his jersey. No. Obama at the top of the key. I've got polo in the left wing coaches right now. Trading freeze for twos. And that's why the lancers. They're coming back down on the drive goes to Mobley probably kicks it out Polo. He will take a deep three. He tipped it out of bounds, and it will go to California Baptist so Maybe the lancers that get the first possession and they're already arguing over Who's gonna throw the ball in from the side, so everyone's trying to figure themselves out. The point guard is Thai Ralph and he is guarded by Eastern Anderson. The Trojans have come out in man to man defense. And there's a top of the key three right away. No good that was read Nottage in the rebound goes to Anderson and a single Ricky taking the other direction, picks up his dribble and gives it to Taj et in the left wing going inside the eyes and Mobley probably trying to back down. His man kicks it to his brother. Evidence out on the perimeter. We talked about space on the floor now, Isaiah Spaces, it turns down to three. Now. Peterson looks to drive all the way the rack and he's shot is blocked. Having mobile he collects though Mobley will turn out told you still have plenty of time. Eight on the shot clock as easy looks to go to work. ET finds Isaiah Mobley He fakes top of the key three. Now from Isaiah that one's long and another rebound of the Trojans. His et is undercut, and the Trojans mentioned might be a good offensive rebounding team certainly were on that possession, and they will have it yet again. Is that is now two team fouls on California Baptist. That one going on Trey Armstrong Anderson to throw in a speedy and a curl baseline shot as an air ball. He made up his mind. He was gonna shoot that before. He even got the pass and turned out to be ill advised. At the other end, another Open three just once for Nottage, it's no good in the battle for the rebound is won by Drew Peterson. Peterson the lead us in the front court. Peterson on the attack comes inside turns around his Evan Mobley wide open for three in the big Fella knocks it down the seven footer with his first collegiate triple and USC has its first lead of the season. It's 75 Trojans having Mobley with five quick points by Judge Thomas looking to attack Peterson. Us gets the bucket off the window and the foul. Three on the way is pure they're gonna say along too, for Taj et certainly not lacking in confidence with his jump shot, and he restores the Trojan advantage. It's 98 to USC. Screen coming to the top and another three coming for the lancers. That one's no good. Long rebound goes to heaven. Mobley loses it, But Isaiah will track it down and Mobley will leave you a seat in the front court. This time find Peterson Baseline drive goes cross court et and they'll say a blocking foul. His name's evan moby his father. The eric mobley is on. Andy infield staff. That's the connection his brother isaiah moby already on campus at u._s._c. If you're unfamiliar with the mobile family isaiah five star dr forward class of two thousand nineteen and evan number one prospect in the country class of two thousand twenty not according to all aw but certainly according to most a consensus top to prospect either way <hes> i believe norlander you and i sat together and watched evan mobely and i am remotely play in vegas. Two summers ago it was the same was the same two summers ago when we had the the unique situation where the best team from adidas played the best team from nike here right and dita's featured evan mobile and they won that game and i just remember i think if you go back to that night which would have been last july evan mobile was not the number one prospect effect in class according to most and i'm not a recruiting analyst and i had seen him only briefly but i was like gee. I don't know that anybody's better than this kid at least in terms of long term potential. This is obviously a huge huge thing not only for u._s._c. for the pac twelve that really needs an influx of talent to get back on back on par with where it ought to be yeah. He's a i mean this was a long time coming with the same thing that people are saying about the number two prospect kate cunningham who's brothers on safran but oklahoma state people are saying you know. Let's get the show on the road here. What are we waiting on. The same thing with his brother had already committed his father was on staff. It was just kind of like wins is finally going to happen it did and andy field we might it might come to be that he extended if not saved his job at u._s._c. specifically because he was able to hire the mobile dad onto the staff and in doing so <hes> <hes> boosted his recruiting of these specific players who are very very good. Make no mistake about it. They will be terrific. I think that i think they're both really really solid but overall. It's it's uplifting lifting there. It's uplifting they're recruiting in general i mean. I think that the u._s. is a is a tournament type team this upcoming coming season once. It's on campus next season. I think they'll be that as well. They've got this other forward own yekeh aw congo. I'm brutally butchering that last name but i was told he's looked as good as just about anyone on the team so far u._s.'s actually right now they are are. They just left yesterday to go play in spain. I believe for their foreign tour so yeah. I mean this is. It's a nice twist. It brings more or legitimacy to the pac twelve. There's a lot of stuff kind of entangled with the u._s.'s thing though g._p. Right the school already self-sanctions self report on a lot of stuff related related to the f._b._i..

"Evan. Mobile has probably the big story. I guess i guess that's what i figured storyteller in college basketball the past seven days for mobile. Was it yesterday days ago. I think it was yesterday. Monday committed to u._s._c. shocked. The nation came out of nowhere. His father is an assistant coach. His brother isaiah is a freshman now also five star prospect <hes>. He's a freshman at u._c. <hes> came out of nowhere. No one saw saw this coming that he would also go to the program where his brother and father are already and is also a program tied up in the f._b._i. Stuff but are they because yeah other than utah to paul and she state. There's three programs that have been punished in the last month but okay yeah yeah. That's the that's for for those of you. That is the story. Evan mobile. Just committed the number one player in the country. Hell is dad there other tired because his brother is is isaiah <unk> his brother. Isaiah is a freshman right so they hired him a couple of years ago and it's a porter situation. It's a michael porter. <hes> in the puerto brothers they wanted to get both supporters michael beasley type situation. It was the same thing where he was competent. Magic coach their dad mr mobile coach mobley coach mo coach mob whatever they're like. We want your kids to play for us. What do we need to do. He's like i want to be the coach at u._s._c. They're like can't do that can do this can yeah we will pay you four hundred thousand dollars to be an assistant and two hundred kids. You have to the one hundred each. Andy field tried this with the bagley family. That is hilarious like this is. The funniest part of as we keep saying is that u._s._c. caught up in the f._b._i. Stuff and you'd think at some point they would step back and be like. Let's tone it down a little bit. Let's just you know we'll still cheap. Let's be smart about how we do this. No they go the other other way and they do the most flagrant like couldn't be more obvious situation in the world which is higher the more obvious situation the world flagrant. What does that say u._s._c. Where's as i say to me o._j. O._j. Set the precedent that you can do just flagrant just crazy things and you can get away with that. That's what that is his legacy u._s._c. and that is what they're still practicing there because at the end of the day they want the five stars and they need the files masterful. You know i liked it because i was like the other day. We brought him up the o._j. Defense and i was like i wonder if we could just this whole season of or this offseason. Everything just relates back to the o._j. Trial just yeah. You're just looking for the real backdrop. She's that phrase yeah. That's what bruce pearl's doing yeah..
