"By the voice of the Philadelphia bottle and the New York Yankees in Espanol Ricky Ricardo hi Rick how are you recording gentleman how are you which would you which tremendous Rick we're great you know the animal will mention some Yankees we go on but as far as the football team you'll be calling tonight they take on the New York Giants we all know what he lie manning is back I have a look at the eagles for the last four weeks five weeks as bad as they look that we say to myself you know what though they have the championship pedigree and I trust them more than I trust the Dallas Cowboys is that an overrated thing or do you look at this team even though the quarterbacks different I don't but that that is a big difference do you still trust The Philadelphia Eagles at this point zero evergreen re honeymoon is over okay the Superbowl hang over has hit rock bottom all right I I I I don't date your question I after being ahead twenty eight dot org he midway through the third quarter last Thursday in Miami to a large cliff dolphins running back up all laws without a big game everybody had nothing but that little ones I pull back that the use of the running back and they come back and beat the eagles are gonna be ours which I lost all faith in that eagle team being able to bounce back from what we're to pretty good I mean if you could consider any law good lord but the patriot games seven do they know the patriots of seventeen points the same old game they held Russell Wilson that crew to seventeen points but they couldn't score they had of what you guys are all but but you still thank you well the kana Miami they'll win there and they've got the last five games that everyone talking about the easier schedule in the NFL they'll beat the dolphins they'll run through the giants twice a week that apple is scared really only comes down to who when the cowboys game on the twenty second to win the NFC east but after watching that disaster down in Miami lance aren't they I gotta be honest with you I don't know what the heck is going on anymore Hey let's see what happens tonight one final word I can I'm gonna need your help beautiful both for you guys to get bridge call banks to do that but tonight the honorary captain for the eagles are gonna be Randall Cunningham right they're going to relive that great play tell years ago on a Monday Night Football of course of course yeah don't put him down and the ground and he gets up and goes back downstairs to beat the giants the end result is I'm gonna need you guys to try to get this call to recreate that like the night life in Philadelphia I don't know if Julie first will call is not with us today is gonna be on tomorrow so we can you know less he's listening yes that is that is that that's interesting that the that's the Kayla I love yeah she's I know the eagles have dropped a ton of passes issued a receives it off the lot of passes what's what's the deal with the quarterback because I mean I you know to me that that's the big difference it's not Nicole's quarterback in his team is because in words where is he at your mind right now you know what I'm convinced you've got the yips I'm I'm good very to a certain extent especially on on really short touch passes the last four to five weeks he's just been terrible with his touch here's a request and I'll remember the card is really under fire it will help you and you're like this what you're always Marijke grow that they sound familiar al son al son who got his first coaching job as the jets assistant back in two thousand but to outgrow micro party was elevated to all sorts of coordinator and and the political left was really you know Carson Wentz is quarterback guru it Frank right left to get that to take the Indianapolis job but he is really regressed has went as far as work is concerned decision making ability not getting rid of the football it thank you Saks but really on such passes that I was talking about this with Erin bloom just the other day comparing him for the whole family was at the game against the Seattle Seahawks and it just seems to people are and I agree that he's just lost a lot of confidence has cars what this is for guy that it two thousand seventeen before he got hurt Nicole took Robert was on his way to being the end yeah he is well we're being that guy even the last week there there has yet to be a moment where waves puts this PMR his shoulders brings them down the field does something her role work where you can say okay that was the signature Wayne for Carson Wentz we've been waiting for that signature win from whence for three seasons when you got it for Mick folded one player you are the difference is funny Derek Carr is sort of similar in terms of he looked like he was gonna be the MVP of the league he got her a couple of years ago and he's as moments but he hasn't been the same guy but the difference for cars he's not being compared by his fan base to the backup who came in and one of the Superbowl and yeah that's got to be difficult because in that city that has been so star for championships they got one from the Philadelphia Eagles and they got it from Nick Foles and whence I think for the rest of his career no matter what is always going to be compared to that and that's that's a tough thing to deal with your car so once you've got a real arcade shoulders that maintenance holes we're told is in Jacksonville or or Nick Foles is required view your way out with his children wherever it is Carson once you've got to walk around this earth with the ghost of Nick Foles on his shoulder let me tell you some on W. I. T. our sister station but you know I I do my own show there couple times a week and inevitably the conversation always falls when you're talking what mall and you know that's the number one topic that's the number one team in the city the conversation always falls back to waves versus fold it did yeah but also it it went can't escape from the comparisons to make full until cars and wait at least went up what you all gave up market Amman his old Superbowl but it only has a signature win and win big Clairol gave them this city of not gonna let him forget that his backup won the Superbowl and that he has it yet thank you we've got a feel for example like the last update the call from behind it with a big game tonight I think the weight of that we have to wait get heavier and heavier and that pressure gets bigger and bigger because of what I go by yeah you know it's funny to want to go with a rookie record of course is the radio voice of the Spanish radio voice eagles ENIAC is of course as well they've had some impressive wins I mean they wanted to Green Bay beat the Packers they wanted the buffalo beat the bills yeah I I so you you you you look at them as a well you know I mean they want to you look at them as a pretty good team and in five and seven that's crazy hold the line right that's really I went to Atlanta and also the power to the collapse of the very next week after that Atlanta went down the toilet so they then had moments where you scratch your head but the difference Joe event with this team run the football game tonight you've got that Big Brother little brother syndrome you know with sake one Barkley and that and milestones the two stand out running back from Penn state the gate what what is dedicated to run the football with doctor rieders just you know stick still running gave them well yeah read because they have given the ball to Jordan power at the mile standards and have really stuck to the run as they did against buffalo as they did against the bears if they have come out on top but when they get away from the run and start getting and when it gets to the tense up into the thirty the high thirties and forties that's when they run into issues and I'll tell you guys this market is booked right now I do you know on on my show on Saturday night and the keto told The Philadelphia fan base that the giant locker room is looking at this game like let's win one for the Gipper for see that I can see that topic a Congress to people is scared around I get that yeah that what could be his final price the night football national exposure appearance coming that wrecked the party for red cross they they should be afraid they should be afraid because they just blew game of the Miami Dolphins so they should be afraid of everybody you know the thing about the giants this year and this goes every single week it'll probably happen tonight is their defense will give up one two sometimes three monster place there will be a wide receiver wide open they'll be burned they don't have to worry about the show Jackson he's done for the year we all good Zach urge is but who do you think is the guy for Philadelphia tonight that's going to be wide open they will be anybody in the room and will be that big game breaking play because Ricky it happens every single week to this giant defense yeah well we have three boys three help me wide receivers for direct that take out your green J. R. Segel whites are the Riviera Stanford and a guy they brought up with the practice squad at university of Houston quarterback Craig war now ward had been surprisingly good that could be the guy that sweeps away for peppers or whatever the Pentagon at create that place Greg ward and the privately goods they signed up to the regular squat but they are hamstrung with only three healthy wide receivers more than likely know Jordan how to get the night so the local really you know fall on a mile standards and they brought get your job back guide you the steps hello the injuries have really taken the the the Pat Patrick J. at jockey as far as the running that that that that kind of running back is to start with this got back with the guy that would get you may be at a screen pass which sprawled injured there's there's really not much of a choice here this is going to be a battle but we take one at mile standards the eagles are limited a wide receiver that guards and the Dallas got out of the two tight ends those are the key receivers for cars or what they will say you will one that finally does something that it beers and the fan base or you'll rebuild the fears of the eagle fans come true here tonight if you are you're the best thing that's happening right now the Phillies the cowboys because I mean they just they keep losing I mean I know it's going to come down to what is a game two weeks from now next week yeah twenty second season in Philly yeah really cal boys really cool and run to the cowboys already have one win against Philadelphia so we really do have to wait about eagle night there don't be hopeful plate twice before the cowboys see the field again okay so the.

"House dot com fan it's the morning show along with the rest yeah give me an update studio for some again for the great before we get to that who are present in the baseball the answer somebody who plays catch with us on at least once a month through your into it in his entire life right Thailand then in fifty five well whatever he's a great market journal and marcher of obviously a son is in general manager of the Cleveland Indians Mikey turn off and I figured I wanted to ask you a as a baseball aficionado and experts somebody who loves the game watches the game if a pitcher comes to you and says in dog out that he's gassed what is he telling you he's basically saying he's tired he wants out I'm done for the day yeah so he's a get me out get me out of the game Jerry you are a baseball guy your baseball coach sure and you're you're a hardcore baseball coach you're there every weekend near where sounds and you deal with pictures yeah you know and ten eleven years old for those pitchers come to use as a coach on gas hello done so tonight also said it's a team decision there's no surprise there he didn't make the decision to take himself out of the game you can I can agree that when a picture says he's gas that that should lead to a decision that probably means he's coming out but why would agree with that but that's different than a picture saying I want to come out of the game Tanaka could have said I'm gas but I'll give you even more I'll go out there but he was on he didn't say that okay but he didn't say take me out either which is my point outside of an injury I don't think a page is ever going to say take me out of the game she says he's ghastly he's well he says he's gas that's his his his queue to basically for that so that the manager understands take me out now after six I don't want to tell you how one out but I'm telling ya I want yeah so don't blame don't blame Erin bone for taking him out right get I after sixty eight pages your your he's gone by what the that the player saying to a movie I'm glad you know in in some respects that trip to knock was honest with them right right I mean don't you think Johns are others I stand should be honest like I look skip I can't go but we don't do we even know what he's really saying I have no idea not saying now we'll find out at some point today thank you for your welcome for validating my point I see your big luncheon today thank you very much hall of Famer right wow he is so bad he just sits there quietly yeah but they say they Paul in Milford joins us on the fans going up all you guys down in a pool yeah Hey listen I watch the post game show after the games they interviewed cannot go with his interpreter and they asked him could you have gone on he hesitated for a moment if you watch the video any kind of right and he said the team has a plan and it ended right there and then it came out a couple of days later that year yeah I don't believe anything that aren Boone has if there anything and you can watch that video and you can absolutely do that the last thing I'll say about this because I'm about to take a pan and stand my eyeball with it is that if there's anything that we should not be criticizing its Masahiro Tanaka who was great in game one I'm not he recites a race that he was gay I will save all guessing on Moscow's saying don't think making him and I'm not and I will I wasn't I what I I I I came in the other right in an idea came in the next days and I agree with everything that that bone and don so did I so I just license Masahiro Tanaka said he was gassed I'm gonna be down and I in the second your ideas Cyclops by the end of the show all right let's get to Jerry just I just don't want the fans of blame arm bone that's all and I'm not like wall not waving the flag right Erin bloom I'm but I think he's had a you know he's he's dealt a I hand that he's trying to play and his offense is not supporting it but that decision really hasn't mattered all that much if someone could say all the bull pen came in came on and then they saw the pictures in game two yeah it took eleven innings for them to break through and what they're saying Chad green in a game when you didn't have to when he's only from sixty eight pitches while I'm telling you yeah reason they did that is because the doctor said he was cast right now I'm saying that doctor was great he's pitching again tonight and I is good the big problem is.

"Insurance fifteen minutes away from the National Football League your National Football League once again turning a blind eye to a problem that comes to eight in about fifteen minutes always reach is on the phone a triple eight say ESPN eight eight eight seven two nine three seven seven six game for the American League Championship Series rained out between the Astros in the Yankees nothing else is going also between some ball football on ESPN two Atlanta Braves the New York Knicks on ESPN and Chicago medical whatever that is on NBC that's what I got on the TV's right here in the studios here at the worldwide leader in sports in Bristol Connecticut right it it's one where you and I were just talking there's so much going on it in the realm of sports by live right now no it's it's jags in Troy that take might they take the south Alabama and Troy in college football so which I don't even know was being played tonight or else I would I would have fired a wager which is shocking because usually you're the one to tell me about games involving Max in on a Wednesday was son both on the west the fact is I do about this that's why all hell has broken lose what we got Chicago mental my TV instead of in it LCS game for the Yankees announcer I would have taken the fourteen from south Alabama they might have known so it will be if I saved myself a little coin by not being knowing this game was on which means I could not play this particular game but I definitely slipping in your old age I'm getting so all I do you walk back to my kitchen for those you don't know I do not do the show from my studio in my house in Dallas fourteen I real time yeah we get to see each other with the states he gives mo whatever they face time with their fans about ten years there you go there's no delay which is amazing yeah none by that so what I'm I left my hat in the kitchen that rose got cooking dinner and I said the hell with it so here you are you like I haven't seen you without a hat on I have never see that here in your head ever in all the years that I was not here so that that is true that it anytime you talk kinetic you to do so you always keep the hat on I've never see out of a pair of boots you always get your boots on it can be hard to bad breath outside and you got boots on with jeans that's true it outs that before February when I write but when I got cut on yes you are one hundred percent thank you on on that one the only time you see me without a hat on is when the damn sky cam catches my bald spot right college game that is zero that's it but that's more humor than actual days the film's content it really is even if it's in the Freddie Coleman of Freddie effort Simmons on ESPN radio I do believe this even though we're gonna have the LCS game for that was postponed tonight is going to be played tomorrow I'm a firm believer that whoever wins game four is going to win the American League Championship Series not pick the Yankees to win a six I'm not going to back up that prediction I believe the Yankees under are going to win game four and win this series in six but I will say this whoever is going to be benefitted by the day off maybe believes the Astros so we believe is the Yankees I believe that that's going to recharge the Yankees because the Astros are the better team tip the toll the Yankees have already given them their best shot the actors have not given the Yankees their best shot and they're of two games to one that would be my mindset if on the Yankees and I think a man we're down to one and that team has a play the capability yet we better get out you know what a year and I believe they're going to do that again for and what of winning the series even if the yanks win in game four I still think the Astros win the series because game seven is where in Houston AT yep and when it comes down to starting pitching we all know pitching wins in the post season that's a massive advantage to the Astros they've got horses on the hill especially two of them in a very lander and coal in Greek you know was hacked off about the way you just performed I and what is it to me that's not change because he has never had any postseason success anyway as Berliner Burnett is a lot better Posies existing Greek you great ideas going up all over himself a lot in the post season are you gonna have to face very lander and Cole again they're they're up to one Berliner coal you have to face them each again that equals four winds even a great he loses tomorrow night I've got the Astros because of starting pitching in the yanks their long relievers now when we start calling them leverage relievers went when did that happen well you know you got a pad that before somebody steals it it takes for their own come on I do know the business we work you have to put something out there somebody would say they came out with their first and then you don't have it anymore but their long relievers haven't thrown three straight days all season if you get the four you get to game seven you're going to have to have at least two of them go in game seven and they haven't done it so meeting going one two three four at least three in four days hasn't happened so to me this is a not a massive advantage the Astros but I think it is an advantage because of starting pitching and pitching wins in the postseason al lighter Major League Baseball annals of three time World Series champion was a goal that can we go on Wednesday and he gave his take on which team is going to benefit from having a rained out and we can have game for game five games six and seven played in consecutive days I would think it would be Houston I think you can now push Gretzky back to going back to Houston I would bring Berlin back on what would be Friday game five so now there would be an off day the reason why I say that is that you you now will have for four consecutive games you you can't take advantage of the off day and which of these teams uses their bill dole pen more and if the Yankees and as Erin bloom should because they have exceptional they have a lot of really good guys coming out of the pen is a lot of mix and match it and that's what they do but we'll use you know six or seven or eight relievers in in a postseason game and that's that's kind of the context of what we're seeing now in the post season and if you do it the best no matter what you believe who's going to pay to have a day off even the Jews baseball's are going to benefit from a day off come on now we're all not stupid of course the baseball have been different in the post season Major League Baseball been playing it up if it's image with their did now everything's the same we don't know what you guys are saying don't put these conspiracy theories out there deep down inside the light yeah we know the baseball the different I firmly believe this the baseball all the way they've been any continues that way if you're majorly baseball why not carry that over to the regular season to me the playoffs have been better without home with Conti flying out of the park because this is so there's more action on the basepaths there's more action in the field it's not just home want to swing a miss home run swing of it is actually been enjoyable baseball relatively considering more than what we've seen in regular season and a previous post season how many times did you when I talk about this during the summer that I really got away from the great game of baseball and I'm a Die Hard cubs thing going back to nineteen eighty three when my mom decided races as cubs fans and I want to kick in the teeth for a Lotta years until until you realize in your.

"Coming alive through town fair tire studios power by town fair tire nobody beats town fair tire nobody and will be on CBS Ron Dolly will is the cat call the games with Brian Anderson they'll be doing to brave the cardinals will also be doing the NLCS because CBS is the exclusive home of the National League throughout the two thousand nineteen M. L. B. postseason and he joins us now Ron welcome how are you hi Mike but a while back the. how you feeling okay I'm still not feel better you know a hundred percent but I'm doing my thing right we send you our best tell me this on a put you on the spot to start we can bring Mickey back or not. injustice two questions here I I think that I would not bring Mickey back I think that I think that some of the session making is is lacking too I think he will be back yes okay so you don't you you wouldn't and you think you will be okay yeah I I I wouldn't because I I just think that I don't know there's there's a there's a lot of things you know what happens I think for a lot of these things like this that they hire these guys that don't have a lot of experience and then they're critical of them when they don't make the right moves I mean the experiences everything when it comes to managing normally ball club but both then and all that kind of stuff so I I think he's a little short Matt now he has an abundance of the team that played well for him young guys that love them gene the play hard for him all the kind of stuff so that's all positives for him so I think he is going to be back because of that. mine is I would send D. as packing yeah I've had guys come on here would tell me no no he salvageable I don't see it you can do you think you would bring him back would you saw what another closing next year you know one out the kids Mike and member of the Watson with the Yankees yep the certain certain players they get in this town in this town is just not form and so I'm kind of going to right yeah I think he's got to go somewhere else way to get something for him I would do it this town is not made for everybody out also you personally after playing there for ten years when I moved to open it was the greatest thing that ever happened to me because it's very hard to play New York for a long extended period of time that's white Jeter and others I just Marvel out that their of their ability to handle it for that long it's just very difficult beautiful difficult brine but you know some of new York's not for everybody and all you have to do is look at Sonny gray Sonny gray great local and comes to New York can't get anybody out now he goes a Cincinnati which is a band box has a two point set two point eighty already this year pitch is great. you know Mike. a lot of baseball players come from these past laurel beautiful world communities and they come to the city and the next thing you know they're on the four train of some train and the trying to figure out how to how to do that and also get people out it's not for everybody you know I love I mean I I thought was the greatest thing that you were good at it so but but it was it's certainly not for everybody and Sonny gray probably one of the best examples I mean what a season he had this year and last year he probably was this far stars the concern one of the worst in the game it was a nightmare yeah total nightmare all right everybody I've talked to Girardi I had the rose on its Roddy on all of the Braves are you in a brave camp to. I am with the Braves camp with a copy and and that is is that the reason I'm in the Braves canceled because the cardinals you know they are actually seal is hitting I you know I don't know if they're going to hit enough because I think the game now even the last night's game was for a three game I think the game is going to be a slugging postseason Mike you know there's no there's no argument that the home run played such a big part of the game this year I would expect the post season the be just like it with tons and tons of home runs I don't think the cardinals have that kind of offense but that being said the Freddie Freeman has to be a hundred percent for me we haven't seen a could you junior play and ten days well we see the Freddie Freeman play against the mats recently or didn't look like he was a hundred percent comfortable he's not a hundred percent comfortable I I I easily conflicts over the cardinals because their pension do you get the feeling that last night that the nationals are a different team this year a different make up this year I mean usually they've been very disappointing and last night they do the things that winning teams do they hang around they get a good performance out of the bullpen by a slaughter and then they get they hit they have to get to win the game. Mike there's a likeness to that team that they've never had I mean I've covered that gene since the beginning and you know the super stars since Reggie Jackson and and with the Yankees they take up a lot of oxygen you know that I think that I I think the price Harper took a lot of our I agree I see and I think he made it worse I don't think you made a better I agree I mean he was a great he's a great player yeah the best players in the game okay but I think there was a lightness to this team special Aparo when he came over all you know the dancing on the baby shark that's that's all great but I think it's at some point they were always the team that was World Series or bus if they don't like the World Series and then and have a good year and I don't think they felt that this year I think they just felt let's be a good team let's get in the dance was to look give ourselves a chance was a whole lot different that what they've had before and a last night's game was listen I've done a lot of games and a lot of great games that that that's right up there with them did you do do they give the dodges trouble. well a Dodgers did not want to play this team this is the one team I think that no one baseball one play up for this reason I know they're open as bad but you know that during the world during the postseason starters are going to pitch only white Strasbourg the must might Corbin's going to get some some out in the bullpen for left handers during the postseason but that now good churches about pitch great but you know what it impacts awful either but sure Sir Strasbourg Corbin and don't sleep on animal science says you know it's one of those guys that Connor knows how to get it done great kind of fort starter like like hell is for for the Dodgers but this is the team they did not want to face and the Dodgers with older left handed hitting with Corbin probably starting game one I think presents some serious challenges will Carmichael be a factor in this series. Michael is the a pro's pro I think he will definitely be a huge factor I think those that's why snicker pick them you know they're trying to somehow get Soroka through this post season because all the endings of that these pants Max freed is going to pitch not only as a starter but as a reliever also we saw him against the maps over the weekend pitch in relief and he was outstanding the the Atlanta Braves have an interesting team in the sense that they're forced for hitters are as dangerous as any in baseball it'll be the other five or the four minus the pitcher of work which will determine that that Sears is do you think the dodges all clearly the best team or do you think the Braves have a good chance the Dodgers are clearly the best team but they have holes and every team seems to have goals you know gently Jansen is you know he was having Marianna or Vera's career and then it came to a halt you know health reasons of course but also he's lost a little and his stuff is not what it once was so you know did they there is not a perfect team out there other than maybe of the Houston Astros seem kind of perfect all the way around I I leave the Yankees out of that because I feel like they're pretty perfect too but they have so many decisions to make and Anna and Erin bloom of course with on the pitching side you might have to pull a council as far as how he uses those pictures throughout the series I think they over think it myself I think they are aware of it I I just pitch tonight tonight has a habit of pitch in well in the post season I would write him and they won't do that because he didn't pitch well down the stretch still probably right Paxson was never pitched in the postseason so I don't know what to get out of him so I you know that I like guys who have done it you know and I think tonight is always shown up. the post season and you know I don't think they trust them do you think run these pitches even the power pitches now even really good pitches are they impacted by all the home runs this year these make these hit issue these pictures shy these all month they certainly have been impacted it's going to be the guys who would give up a two run home run that could somehow rebound from that think about Max social last night he looked like he was going to the last two or three innings you somehow got through five and only gave up three runs only but you know you kind of kept them in the game I think that the home run ball is going to be huge in the post season and I think the guys to deal with that better or or or that's a good point you can be able to shake off the early home run is what you're saying right. take it off and not I'm with you with the Yankees I think that trying to be who they are not would would not be the way I would go I would start you know the haps in that the knockers and let them go until they can't own dad this stopover thinking this I mean I mean to me that they way you Yankees a way over thinking this stuff I think yeah I would say like for Tamaqua Gimme Gimme for strong innings all we already give me for give me five is it just just just think of it in real time that the stitching great let him go if he's not then you make the most absolutely and you know as as Joe Girardi said to me today I said what's the one quality it takes to win this thing he says you gotta come from behind these games and and I think that's true you sort last night you gotta be a Yankees were always that way they can I can't tell you how many games I was at what a Yankees came from behind in the playoffs at you could did they had to be twenty of them in the post season so they're in a house in days I mean you and you saw it last night you've got to be able to chip away you got to get someone out to your pen to shut them down and you got to you got to just chip away and be able to come from behind these games you know like I was told when I was a player in this is thirty years about thirty forty years ago whatever was and it has been changed you have to be someone's closer at some point you have to be someone closer the reason the Yankees won all of their championship there's no one could be there closer bat how you win championships is at some point you have to be there closer and we saw it last night with hater you know the the yeah script the scripted planned for hater to come in two innings and strikes up five in the.

L. wait rich up Richie rich and women I I didn't I I I I secured was done a fine job as a manager but we're talking about Aaron Boone saying baseball needs to institute a mercy rule that's ridiculous all the suction off work I've done not on your show I heard something I Google I checked it out on my own okay and the lady in the last since two thousand and fifteen that's three years not three thousand seven okay twenty five thousand nine I wrote it down nine hundred sixty eight missed call Paul who strikes by umpires who had no right working behind what they need to do something they need to put it all robots are there because it's not that you can't judge what's the mercy rule though Richie you know what what it's all about I mean it's nothing to do it all right I got to run rich I got around some of these thank you buddy hi Dave in Maine chalking service Dave her on the job good morning hi Dave good are you doing what's up I I did I thought he was going to get to something at some point he finally does yeah well you know what's as well that my perspective on this unit stand yeah I've been a been a hockey fan for about forty years okay in nineteen eighty you know we yeah we made it to the Superbowl we lost soul gem forget there but the right won the World Series and I was ten years old I thought of you as well yeah so your flash for about twelve years we enter the rich code that year yeah you know your thought great players in the buddy Ryan error but they're just you know they they just start losing from generation one like you said and Yamamoto young husband and and my eagles just walked in the door you thinking right giants one Sunday and I was just I was just punch the one that you know and I had the look myself in the mirror and see what what is wrong and I realized that if you know I realize you know that the thing that's great about sports is that you find your identity in your team that's what differentiates it from other forms of entertainment like movies and TV and that could be a great thing but it's it's a really really bad thing when you when your team's literally sucked and it's just ruining your life see now I never I I got to tell you that I've never found my high def I got it I just don't get I argue with your premise I've never found my identity in my chart right now no I associate with the team and I love it but I've never found like okay when they lose it somehow reflects on me I've never felt that what because I want to find your identity you know we say our eagles are weak why we lost sure yes one thing but if it's not balanced then yeah when your team sucks you're gonna you're gonna let it affect your life no how about this though I live in Atlanta yeah the Braves are one of the youngest most talented franchises in all of baseball and I'm hearing people every day **** complain and moan about the Braves and I can't understand it when they're one of the youngest most talented teams in baseball I can understand I can't grasp the concept of being miserable when things are really really good yeah Arianna and negativity at like this would you trade would you trade the Phillies for the Braves right now I would their roster for the I would trade I'll trade any day of the week it's Alison thoughtless wants to do and I'm all for the tree thank you buddy high pressure they came out created eight five five two one two for CBS I just it's it's when your team is having a bad year and they were supposed to be good I totally understand the upset being upset about it I don't I don't understand when your team is when you weren't supposed to be any good or when your team is ahead of ahead of schedule he got one of the best best teams and you know your future's bright I don't I don't get not being I guess thrilled happy excited just don't understand it just don't understand it okay this is going to upset some people I get it I'm not saying it to try to upset you I'm just being honest with you so if I'm supposed to believe it JZ is no longer woke right JZ isn't woke anymore JZ is somehow not down with the calls which by the way at some point for some people B. came calling Cabernet getting a job again in the NFL for some people that metal has become the that that that somehow became the because that wasn't the clause in case you didn't pay attention it was never the cause the cause wasn't for Colin Kaepernick to have a job in the NFL completely different so now I guess JZ is no longer woke he's no longer down with the because because of the fact that he chose to work with Roger Goodell and cut a deal with Roger Goodell I'm I'm truly fascinated by it because it's the idea that I guess if if Eric Reid decides to take the NFL's money Eric Reid is still down with the because he's still he's still he's totally in in cap ex Campani is down with the calls but a JZ decides to take the NFL's money he somehow a traitor to the cause as Jay Z. was supposed to make a deal with Roger Goodell okay I'm gonna rock nation handle making your halftime shows a little more palatable to people under the age of thirty five and I'm gonna help you with your pre game concerts and things like that but in return you gotta give calling Capranica job what do you like who are who are the simple terms I honestly who are taking this tact yeah Jay Z. you are no longer down man meant what we now now the division because starts from within this isn't about Colin Kaepernick if you listen to me long enough and you've heard the show you will remember when Colin Kaepernick was kneeling I can think of times in my career when I got hate mail and the emails forget other than dealing with the Michael Vick story in Atlanta and being on the air in Atlanta during that whole story the most hate mail I ever got was for supporting calling capital now remember I only supported callin capric for his right to kneel and I only supported it because I knew that my dad a World War two vet a prisoner of war a a decorated veteran would have supported his right to kneel and since I never had the not gets to defend my country on foreign soil I think I said sure shot on when it comes to hear it tough who's more patriotic who loves America more I always sort of say you know what maybe I need to shut up on things like that because I had every opportunity coming out of Carla how high school in Philadelphia I had every opportunity at Temple University said anytime you know what I'd like to go join the service I'd like to go defend the flag I'd like to go and and and support my country I have plenty of opportunity to do that I didn't do it so you know what I sort of feel like those of the times you maybe need to shut up just a little and if Colin Kaepernick wanted the meal I believe he had every right to kneel and I got the most drastic vicious nasty little emails from people how dare you support him in that right and I would explain to the mall actually cut and pasted a response to a lot of them and I said I also support the NFL owners right to not give me a job as much as I support his right to do what he wants to do I also support the NFL owners right for not wanting around and I can tell you if I ran a billion dollar corporation I am not having my store employee my centerpiece employee wearing pink socks depicting copses pigs I am not leading by a star quarterback in my locker room on my time wear shorts that celebrate Fidel Castro well he **** and complains about the United States of America because the asinine nature of that in and of itself so where I supported callin Cabernet I also support everybody else's right to do Hey I own a billion dollar business I don't want you representing my bread I promise you this if I left the CBS studios today and and I was being interviewed on television I had kids socks on representing the apple leases pigs and war Castro shirt and was telling about how bad it is in America I have a feeling that there be a different hosting here next weekend.

"AD child taking your phone calls eight seven seven three three seven six six six six it's Frank yeah it's actually Mike in Canada get here on the fan Michael hello Richard how are you Hey Mike very much for taking my call yes and I've got two two main things about the Yankees it bothered me for a long long time number one I realize the pitching you know it's been a little rough in and I agree with you the fact that the competition even a lot better but there's two other things that have been bother me I'd like to get your comment on the number one this team seems to not believe in the in the idea of manufacturing runs like so many other successful teams have been able to do I was watching the game last night every time you turn around Boston had men on base position other skews me situational hitting things like that the Yankees don't seem to be able to do that and the second thing is that they it seems like everybody in the line up from top to bottom there SO one saturated with these old ones that if you watch them swing it's like everybody from labour Tories to like I said the whole line up everybody swinging for the fences and you know like as you pointed out as you when you get to the playoffs were you please better teams if you've got better pictures they're going to know how to pitch around that kind of that kind of mentality and they're not going to be successful and the last thing is that I I I object to the fact that Erin bloom he's a good man is our stuff but he is very stubborn when it comes to leading people in the front of the line up even though they're not hitting well he did it with Gary Sanchez before you got hurt he's doing it with Erin judge Erin judge looks lost at the plate last a week or so and I I don't know I don't know what to say it's very frustrating as I had Yankee stand so we okay well let let me address all of these things in one fell swoop here I think you're criticizing more of last year's Yankees in this year's rankings because look with a DJ lemay here of course is hurt but with the coming of him they have hit to the opposite field they have move runners along show those that they are a a much more cognition team of heating and situations and they used to be they take a lot of pictures I think they're they're they're approach is pretty good now you have a couple of guys you mention Sanchez who does seem to be an all or nothing at all guy and it was all for a while but you know with the injury and everything else it's that nothing at all and to an extent I I see that with Erin judge now Erin judges talked about level swing heading in the opposite field and they were looking at his poll rate yesterday and they basically said he's not hitting home runs to left field necessarily he's he's hitting most of his home runs to center and right field so he is trying to go the other way I just think he swing an awfully hard I mean he's got such awesome power that in it you know he would like to just that I guess is what he is but instead of you know a hundred and twenty mile an hour exit velocity a few ninety eight mile an hour exit velocity hits the right field would be okay with him and I think he'd maybe stave off some injuries they're just not not try to kill everything because even when he swings the opposite field is trying to kill so I think he might be able to back off a little bit on that and and look Aaron Boone it's a it's a tricky thing because you got to keep your players motivated yeah keep your players happy and yet when guys are doing the job even if you've got a indicate that you know we can we can have a bad second of every year your swing of the bat the way you are we can drop in the line up some but you can't do that based on a few games that has to happen over a longer period of time and I know as a fan you get impatient you say wise you know and that's why the change but you know you can't be jerking your players around a lot that doesn't work you have to have faith that sometime Aaron Boone it's going to click and he's going to be the awesome header any still living over three hundred and it's not like it's not like Erin judge I'm sorry Erin judge is is striking out all the time and not getting on base number three hundred it's going to fall in Merrick here on the fan Paul what would you Hey Paul could you get off the speakerphone you sound a little distant there okay I'm sorry speaker speaker will be okay restricting all right better go ahead it's better okay listen I am a big messy and I'm a seventy one year old the mystery and I go back before might start to go back to the Dodgers I really believe this team should stay intact and make a move we're only six games of the wild card now I can't see so when all of your pages you're not going to get very much four Wheeler at this time will it could be a big picture for us for years to come we should re sign him I that's that's what I think but I I don't see them willing to do that they they have made absolutely no move toward Hayes act let's sit down and talk about an extension they haven't done that so a fairly they're not going to and if you're going to lose him at the end of the year anyway do you just say okay we'll let him walk will tender him so that he won't be desirable to another team and maybe they can re sign him in the off season or something along those lines but if if you're at a point now where Zack Wheeler is clearly not going to come back and you can get something of value for him I guess you got to do it but again it's gonna be something of value I mean if it's one of those salary dumps like we saw Alderson do a couple years ago at the trading deadline move this guy this guy this guy was gone you didn't get much of a return you just saved a few Bucks and I ate you know it's not my money I know it's the will times money so we can be cavalier about it but really your short changing your fans if you do that his fans need a reason to come to the games for the rest of the year and I understand you can't you know you can't mortgage your future and just because you want to win eighty games instead of seventy six games I get that but I mean you got to give us reason to come to the park it's gonna Frank in new Rochelle you're on the fan Frank Hey rich audio I'm really having trouble with and I've called before concerning has been a not willing to pull the trigger at least today you know I don't know what his Cashman's decisions going to be on the line it took courage are already of the windows ten year run this will be the first decade I think this is accurate if they don't make the World Series will be the first decade in the history but they have not made the world so it will not win the World service jasmine has had a big payroll for the last seven eight years they have been done really much the philosophy of getting under the luxury tax I understand but even with that they still spent a lot of money so jasmine doesn't want to pull the trigger here or even next year if there isn't enough available for him to pull the trigger on the starting pitcher then the clock has to be checking on Cashman's tenure as GM okay well he okay let let me let me ask you this though if if he has to give up let's say that somebody be willing to give you Madison Bumgarner have to give up labor Taurus would you do it I think I would only because as good as far as is and can be I love the philosophy you can get a second baseman Castro was a second baseman who I think after before towards that he was an excellent second baseman second baseman's or dime a dozen pitching starting fits in the top in the rotation or not so that's the ultimate question all the time will they give up a guy like cause but I think you have to roll the dice well all right Frank I heard what you had to say and I I couldn't disagree more I mean I I talked about this yesterday said to Sweeney we we we I threw a theoretical legend wouldn't happen in a million years but let's say the mats were willing to trade Syndergaard to the Yankees for bluebird Taurus would the Yankees do it and Sweeney said unequivocal oblique and he quit the cut believe sorry no they would not he said look this guy is young he's only gonna get better he's got MVP potential for the next ten years and center guard is is much in his fans love him and all that the whole four thing has not been an ace he's been a hi it's Coleman underachieving guy but he hasn't reached that level that his stuff dictates that he's got and you only have can control for the next year after this one so you give up a possible ten year and the pizza guy they we have under control making five hundred fifty thou for Syndergaard wouldn't do it so if if you wouldn't do it for sender guard we do it for a Madison Bumgarner on the downside of his career no way so I I I do share your frustration that yes yes yes you need a picture but if teams know that and are gonna make you desperately overpay and you know what let's side used car as let's you know throwing whatever name you want you know the teams are demanding big time returns for the Yankees so this is the poker game that that Brian Cashman has to play everybody in the world knows they need pitching and everybody in the world is going to keep that price tag really high until the very last minute in in you know this is the way it works in any negotiation when you get to the last minute you know you're in that car dealership and you're ready to walk out the door because the dealer doesn't meet your price then you start to walk out the goes wait a minute and that's when you get the best price and that's pretty much what's going to happen here it's going to be most likely last minute where it comes down to a team saying you know what we got to get something for a picture maybe it's Jack Wheeler and I'm not saying the Yankees ideas act with her but Hey we got to get something for this guy rather than nothing okay give us your best offer.

"Walked into the office and the door was open looking out the sun is out from the sound I don't see any rain see a couple dark clouds over there in Hoboken do you think it might make it to the Bronx no they mostly evaporated over the Hudson River but anyway it was a knoll raid they started the game and early on a couple home runs and then Erin bloom gets tossed by the rookie umpire Brenda Miller a gardener struck out in Boone laces into Miller park in concert to see whatever the word yeah yeah I got it early in the morning the strike zone inspired and so I don't I don't necessarily think anything like that and I was on eighty we knew that what I because I was on it people know that but to me yeah yeah yeah main street not use separate who's made during the commercial break as you're playing audio from your computer and I couldn't figure out where it was coming from the world's going from well anyway let's move on here as Aaron Boone talked about savages in the batting box to lease that our phrasing it yes the little boy sometimes in the heat of battle you just kinda out or something but you know I I feel that way about our guys no doubt well he did more than others yeah he did savages is six inning game even of one yanks with the bases full Tampa's Charlie Morton on the mound and of course John sterling behind the microphone on the fan bases loaded one man out big moment in the game in deals.

"On the Sunday afternoon of the drop down in Saint Petersburg and it was a Tampa Bay rays pitching that came out ahead this afternoon by the score of two to one welcome to the sun wave gas and power Yankees postgame show I'd Ricky Ricardo in for Sweeney Murray as the team's wrap up the what is considered first half of the baseball season with a tremendous pitching matchup here this afternoon between James Paxton for the Yankees and Charlie Morton for the Tampa Bay rays all the scoring came early in the game pitching would take over from there including bull pens on both sides and the Yankees and raise split before game series down in Saint Pete as they now go their separate ways for the all star break many of these guys will be flying at together to Cleveland and others will be heading home for the next four days alright let's get right to it and go to a Susan wall bits clubhouse report brought to you by the New York lottery the newest scratch off games are on sale right now try your luck today and you could bring home away in with the New York lottery Susan a lot of pitching lot of strikeouts on both sides yeah you know what and that's pretty much the story of of that Aaron Boone talking about job Charlie Morton the all star who was not officially all star game but deserves to be there obviously he said we I thought we worked Martin pretty well but we couldn't get anything going against them and then the whole thing came in and to get a great a great did a great job he said we had our chances there was one inning there Ricky where they really did they had for us and and they had the first two guys on and then couldn't get anything out he did talk about Valero witchy Saudi made for him coming in like this and not knowing anybody and all of a sudden being thrown out and second base he thought he did a nice job they wanted to get a look at him I'm thinking that you know to have back ups they know what to either way can do they know what Tyra star can do they want to see what he could do we thought he acquitted himself and you go out of his way to talk about Erin judge and how he handles low calls you said he hasn't gotten wrong up on bad calls all year Anne is handled them better than anybody in this league and that is something today was really noticeable what he did in an hour and I think it had enough and Erin phone never says anything but aren't I mean errands judge never says anything about the local strikes by phone today I think it really had enough until the home plate umpire at one point turned around and said that's enough so you just wanted to talk about that I did talk to James tax and he said I've got something really to build on going into the second half he was really pleased with his four seamer and we are joking up from the both of our how you know we got to do something about that first inning I mean either have an alternate form or something I haven't warm up a little differently because he gets in trouble that is something that pictures go through from time to time they'll get in trouble and they don't get into a rhythm Jill the second inning by John all in all we say Erin thought that packs and fits well in fact I was really pleased with it now Susan at the wrong time comes the all star break for one Brett Gardner is he it's you know it's so great and you know how I really like it when guys who have been written off really start to show that we all love those kinds of stories and I'm sure he'll do you use the break too good too good use you know he he goes in spurts he's always been a peaks and valleys guy but he knows he can do it I like it that when you leave on a really hot streak because you know you can do this now he can relax for four days and come back even more refreshed and and I was thinking about that too you know there's always somebody that just gets hot is hot for two weeks and all of a sudden you stop for four days so but everybody can use this break I think there is a one person in this room that can't use this break did Erin bloom today bring green into that situation may be to get the bad taste out of his mouth from you know yesterday in the walk off home run and make sure he goes into the all star break with a positive frame of mind well he didn't say that but I believe that he did also to see if he can pitch back to back days these this is such a there's always more than emotional things in there they're trying to see now can the pitch back to back days he hasn't done it no in awhile can you do that and obviously there it was so I think a little bit of both right there Ricky well I'm just try council labs of pitching in our everybody will go their separate ways for the all star break Susan have a great break enjoy the four days off we'll see you back a Yankee Stadium on Friday night well injured CNX wait Susan Waldman in our clubhouse report brought to you by the New York lottery I will go to a break we got lots more to go after these two to one Tampa Bay ray win over the Yankees this afternoon this is.

Saint Petersburg Tampa Bay four days two weeks
