"A couple of Wisconsin Badgers for six more yards. Eric Morel and Scott Nelson had ahold of him, but they couldn't get him down. That's a nice run by Zach Sharpening two passes to really open up the run playing sharpen a display. This feed versus Minnesota were ripped off a 70 hours. That place certainly displayed his power. It looks like a rugby pile down there. They have been the must pit 14 yards out of the 28, Michigan with another first down. Milton back wants to throw wants all of it to the end zone in complete intended for Cornelius Johnson. Well covered on the play by season. Williams with pick up a second down in 10, bring the throw down low, but they run in a double post. So the first post clears out to the back post was were the second post that is that that is covered by the second corner and a wide open window. That's the opportunity to lower don't go higher with football lowered where the DPS got to go through the receiver. That would be the only spot where he could throw the football right there. Second down in 10 Wolverines from the Wisconsin 28, Trellix 48. Nothing here third quarter. Milton out of the gun was chardonnay to his right. Milton takes the shotgun snap wants to throw Looks Rose. Left side is incomplete intended for Eric all down at the 13 yard line. That'll bring up a third down and 10 little bit wide of all that time. It's all about finishing. That's really what it is Dan. It's a perfect rediscover, too. He's always going to take the corner out on the outside the corner jumps up on the hitch route on the outside. Yes, he got the right, Reed. You've got the right play The receivers open. Just deliver it with a better actor of past for completion leaves Michigan with a 3rd and 10 now From the 28 of Wisconsin. Clock. It's six is Milton backs up into the gun play clock. It's two on one. There's the snap, which comes Milton's got time throws deep left side. It is incomplete off the hands that time of Mike San Bristol. Not to bring up fourth down and on will come the field goal unit for Michigan to try to get them on for the first time tonight on the board. It's the right Reedus press man. He's throwing to the right guy on the outside. Just lead him to the back corner of the end zone is what I would say. Give your receipt with the only shot to catch that football. Quinn Nordine on. This will be a 46 yard field goal attempt middle of the field. Will heart toe hold? There's the snap spot down. Kick away. It is up and it is good. So Michigan is on the board first possession of the third quarter, they turned that into three points. It is Wisconsin leading 28 to 3 with 12 52 to go in the third. This is Westwood one's coverage of N.

"The Mustang could be it could be a big question, Mark. But I mean in the grand scheme of things, I think that he wins out because he's in a more than competitive ride people that actually want him to be there in a situation now where he can have another redemption story like Erica Merola. I mean, he can learn off that guy instantaneously. I mean, I think that's huge to to to a guy who was to to had really nothing. He was kind of dead in the water to now very much revitalize his career. So he can learn off him and kind of get an adjustment on how things are going to be. All right. So Eric L Merola in two thousand sixteen two thousand seventeen two thousand sixteen he was twenty sixth in the points. All right last year to our two thousand seventeen I guess I should say he was twenty ninth in the point spot. Remember? He did it sit out in the middle of the year because of the, you know, breaking his back thing. Sure. Otherwise, he probably would have been in maybe the twenty third twenty fourth place area. Then this year goes to Stewart Haas wins the race. Talladega. You know? So you Asterix next to Windsor race makes the play offs and he's fifth and it made the playoffs some points, by the way you won the race in the playoffs fifth in the points. Let's see here. Where is Daniel Suarez Daniel's? Whereas in his two years. Now considering to in this that obviously our camera have been around longer at that point. He raced more experience. All right. So two thousand that we had two thousand two Findlay series thing. Very much. Okay. So two thousand seventeen. Twentieth. Daniel Suarez was twentieth. In the points, seventy or seventy seven points this past year was twenty first in the points. One hundred point six hundred seventy four but almost the same place in the points. So Eric Morel was lower in the points. He jumped up the fifth, okay? Daniel suarez. Relatively higher in the points in his two seasons. But in a better car to how much of a jump. Do you think he can take? Getting out of that hole Gibson situation where he wasn't happy and going to Stewart Haas. I don't think it's gonna be as big of a jump because it's not as big of an upgrade of car as it has from, you know, petty too. But but still, you know, I mean, I don't know. I think do let let me ask you, do you think you can make the playoffs. Just just just built by the move. Absolutely. I think again, I I agree. I think he can to do you think it wins the race? Tough one in. That's tough. But you know, what I think I think he can. I honestly think he can it's probably maybe a cookie cutter track. But I think that he can definitely win just pulling from from the notebook of of Kyle or Kevin Harvick and Clint Boyer, and Eric I'm role. I think the team the teams their work much more better in unison, then Gibbs can ever imagine. And I I actually I've always thought he is capable of winning race. I agree. I think you wanna race next year. I mean, it's all kind of hinges like you were saying earlier on does this Mustang run. Does it not run? We don't know. We'll know if they're going to have the Chevy type problems or not. But I mean when you look at looking at his stats right now. So I have a little bit of an advantage here. But when you look at the fact that he finished third at Dover tough track. He finished second Pocono and he had a chance to win though. He was leading that race late. You finished second Pocono..

"Hey, welcome back in the draft. With Wilson Waugh's. I'm Wilson that is the Woz man in the first half of the show. We talked about everything that happened at the end of the season. Now, it's time to start looking for. But not before we talk about the guys who finished below the championship for in the season. Mr. the title of Mr. relevant goes to. Eric Merola because he wanted to just give me that one. Last time jab one last time in my side. Eric Morel was fifth. He was fifth on the frequencies. Dude, amazing. He finished ninth in the race at homestead chase Elliott six in the championship. Seventh at homestead Kurt Busch. Seven the championship and tenth on the track at homestead brackets Laskey eighth and ninth. Am Ryan Blaney rounds out the top ten. It's good for them. I believe all those guys get to be on the podium to talk at the when's the big things this weekend. No, it's gonna be next week. I think it's next week because thanksgiving they usually until after that. So do you think it's going to be like on Tuesday afternoon at like two thirty five again, it probably is. It's definitely gonna be taped again geared to you that they're like we guys we couldn't afford to get the ballroom at seven pm. So we're gonna have to do it in thirty in the morning. We'll see everyone get drunk and tank and ready to go. Red carpet starts at six thirty. Oh my gosh. So we got that Ford wins the driver manufacturer titles for two thousand eighteen it's the first time, I didn't know these number. I'm realize he's numbers. First time. The Ford is one a manufacture driver title since Kurt Busch in two thousand four the aforementioned Kurt Busch. Harvick was the and was in Chevy. And then then 'cause Laskey was a dodge. That's right. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Then they switched afford right after that. Yeah. I was gonna say is there last year that was last year with first manufacturer to win. A I sorry. I factor. First time that Ford is one the manufacturers title since two thousand two. Yeah. I believe that too man that was that the mechanism clear, I think it was no was Tony Stewart when the toy store, so they won the they. That's when that's when two thousand two is right around the air where rouse racing at eight five. Yeah. And they were just they're spamming the board. That's how they got the championship that made it happen. Oh, man. And of course after all that incredible season brags Laskey complain a bitch damone until they got the right rules package. So they could go out there. Dominate win doubleheader. Get the driver at the manufacturer title another gonna switch card of the Mustang next year as as life as his what's supposed to happen when you win a championship. But but hey Toyota did the same thing. I think with with Bush, right? Didn't they? Yeah. Publish one change it something like that. Yeah. I can't remember that something like that. But speaking of changes, let's talk about NASCAR. Okay. Because Steve belts NASCAR president CEO. Maybe not just president. I'll even though he does. Considering the fact that everything's all shook up. He he was he was actually just serving drinks before the race at homestead, but the way NAS car works is they look at the Santa like, whoa, dude. It's half full. Steve Phelps put down that tray of soda..

"So same thing. He was trying to modify the airflow inside the car and he got the same penalty fifty grand Karchi spending for the next two races. And then twenty points for them three of the top four cars. Yup. Got thing for a one penalty messing around. And you know, you absolutely, no. You know what? Now, I'm convinced. Now, I'm not speculating anymore. I'm going to call it Harvick. And his team. Did it on purpose to see if they could get away with it for homestead knowing the head now, the rice and then Ryan Blaney and Eric Jones think about that for a second Penske car still in with Joey Logano, we still have jobs racing cars or Toyotas in it wasn't. It wasn't Joel. It wasn't llegado. It was a marcher extreme it wasn't called Bush that got hit for those penalties. Derek Jones and Ryan Blaney both again. I think now trying to test things out to see if they can get away with them. So the. So that the real cards could try them at homestead. Yeah. That's you know, what I'm not. I'm surprised that Kyle Larson you get didn't get dinged or something and Stewart hostage and have that luxury author were their cars are in the top eight. So which one are you going to pick you pick the one that has the highest number of points right now in the one that has his best race track coming up next and try to experiment with that. I bet you. I bet you if he would have gotten through every one of those cars what had that spoiler at homestead. Oh, absolutely. And then it'd just be like all right? Let's try those come on. I'm a boy. That's that's that's interesting. That's an interesting hypotheses there believe you would be right, sir. I'm calling the conspiracy theory right now that everybody was going. Everyone was trying to get the cheating. Now, the see if they could do it in a couple of weeks at homestead because I mean that was the I mean, we're talking about this on Email, and I mentioned earlier in the show where you know, after watching that domination. It was like how is he not gonna win the championship? We'll guess what? I everybody. Everybody was trying to see what it can do the win the beach. That's how much they want to win. I guess I don't know. Maybe it's just how much they can get away with rather than win. Yeah. That's it to both both things. All right. So the Joey Logano thing. Okay. Joy llegado Eric Morel two weeks ago. It was Joey Logano and Martin trucks junior this week joy Lagaan. Oh, Eric Merola role is all pissed off because Joey held him down on the inside line coming out of turn to on the last lap something like that. I don't know. So then I'm role is like, oh, I'm going to make sure it doesn't win the championship. I'm gonna make sure it's well how you going to do that. I'm just going to raise some real tough or whatever he he he pulled the same BS crap. That tricks. Did we talked a lot of crap getting out of the car? And then when they was pushed on he was like, well, I'm not gonna do anything. I'm going to in trouble for. With the true x thing. I can see him being pissed. He lost the race because of it. But I don't blame Lugano at all. I mean, you gotta do that. Right in this one. I'm like, oh, come on, dude. How like how much of a of a five year old? Are we going to be basically he got out of the car and said on the final lap of a NASCAR race I'm upset because another competitor raced me really, really hard. They didn't make contact all that happened is got Elmo loose on wireless lit up the track and didn't get as good of a Finnish. Because of it llegado finished third umbrella finish date, he gets out of the car. And he's like you already has a win. He's already in homestead on the ways racing me that heart. He's racing. You the heart Casses job to ratio that hard. And he doesn't want you to come in. And actually, maybe if you do right into the vinyl Ford's upset him. Exactly. Why would you want any of those eight drivers to be ahead of you? Because by giving them points and giving them a chance to get into the final race..

"But that that the only good thing about the coverage was the area coverage, which I often bitch about because it shows the vacant audience, right? But with this one, they had enough road course that they were able to decipher student cars and there was some shots. It looked like the cars coming into one turn. We're about to run into like a figure, eight pattern, keep scared the crap out of me each and every time with don't give him the idea because they'll do a figure eight if you if you tell them that you found that interesting. I would love that that would make things more exciting. I would. I would. I would tell my friends to do that. If they had a figure eight playoff race and make it a cut race, please make it a cut rate, the eighth race of the playoffs. Yeah, you want people to watch. And so you get people to watch. Well, don't tell any gossip, that's that's Texas. The three of the play offs. Oh, boy, exactly. So the drivers got cut in this one, Jimmy Johnson. And of course he spun in the final term Austin, Dillon, I believe he crashed. I can't remember if he got because so long ago I can't remember if know he he, he finished next to last. He got into big Rick. Didn't he hit the wall or some. I can't even remember. He was hitting stuff all day. Denny Hamlin was terrible, terrible all weekend long. I was watching practice preferred to come to this godforsaken place and an every opportunity possible Denny him was hitting something overly aggressive to hit heaven, Eric Jones, who's the other cut they were, they were too aggressive. Yeah. And the Eric Jones that he got caught up in something can't remember what. In the in the in the other one of the other crashes. I think he did all of those riders or riders of those drivers, which one it was anybody there. Surprising. I was surprised a little bit by Johnson only because he had that opportunity to move on and he chose to not just take the opportunity other than that Dylan, Hamlin, Eric Jones. I mean, you called you call Dylan Hamlin a little bit a little bit surprised by jobs only because he was so hot coming into the playoffs. But the big one there for for me, I think is Jimmy Johnson, not because it's Jimmy Johnson, but because of the situation because he could have just simply taken second and moved on. Yeah. I mean, that's the real big surprise the risk reward situation. I'm surprised also because it's Jimmy Johnson. He was actually in the playoffs to begin with because you never heard about a all year. No. So I mean, even on that alone, that's another case, a damning case against him. Yeah, Tim Johnson really only one, like I said, Hamlin Don. I said Dylan done. I mean, Dylan. You had done to Garrick Jones young, I'll I got one out of the four day. Yeah, you got one of the four only got fifty percent so too. Yeah, because Eric have Arolla hates both of us and Eric Morel a man tied tied tied. I don't like to tiebreaker don't like that either the highest finishing in that playoff. I don't know if I'd like that. I think they should go back to wins and then go back to second place isn't third-places. Fourth places might still worked out the same. I don't know. Although Al Merola and Johnson, both didn't have a win. So what have gone to seconds or thirds or whatever and not have a win either. Yeah, actually what you're right this year. He did not. Yeah, because I don't think the only Chevy win this year has been with Austin Dillon. Oh, and chase on the road course. Yeah. Yeah. But either of those really count as a win. But I don't know if it's a win. I mean checkered flag. I don't know if it's a win. They got a and that was gonna flag in a trophy. Segment winters. Cal are someone's first one, Ryan, blaming the second one. It wasn't like blaming with slow. He was just tuna stick, but then get this all right, because of the mayhem..

"It looks like it has been punched a few times in the past. If it hasn't, the people aren't doing their jobs. But overall, like we said, the last fifteen laps were really the only thing you really have to look forward to. Yeah, you know, Ryan blame me, of course, won the race. The wroval is trademarked by, oh, what did what? What did I? I don't know if you guys hadn't opinion this. I was as I was watching up until the last fifteen laps or so. I was like, oh man. This is actually like they're obviously being very careful other Demi Hamlin and Eric Morel. They were hitting everything every hitting everything they can find. And honestly, Bubba, Wallace should just simply take the week off next year for the robo because my God that he had the whole weekend, all he was doing was hitting crap, but everybody else was playing it really chill. And I was like, man, I wonder what they're talking about right now. And of course you know the end of the race, we all know what you were talking about. But the one thing that's that stuck out to me was relish would and all of the wroval crap. Wroval t-shirts wroval hotdogs. Wroval signs, wroval banners. He was saying that they were reprinting t shirts because the wroval this. Rover that I'm like, oh my God with the freedom. Rove just knock it off how sick of the where Bravo was Johnny. P at the end of the the race. He was. He was sick of it. When the for word go, especially with us people at the foam wroval hats, the, oh my God. I didn't see those. I did not like the phone. It's like the foam hats, but it had a picture of the ruble on it. Oh, so. But you know he was. He was already pissed off about whether this, but I will. I will quote you the text that I sent you on Sunday. Yes. Yes. Yes. Do Johnny p September. Thirtieth twenty eighteen what's more than a pledge shirt with an NBC logo on it. What's next getting the NBC logo into his shitty, beard, Johnny, p. Think of find a way to spray painted in there. I'm sure they would. So. Not a fan of which Rutledge wood had a. Had. He seem relig- would before this ever do we know? Yes. Oh, oh, he had okay, darned. So it wasn't like, but only remained. Okay. Nothing ended its long form exposure. And was the opinion totally unfiltered or did you kind of prep him a little bit for it? Now, I just said, look at this asshole. Look at this look at this. This hipster asshole. Oh, man. All right. So let's talk about the last fifteen laps because it was the only really good thing in this race. Okay. So you had I, you have brackets, Laskey collar, som side by side on the restart their heading in the term one. This was the only point because remember I was on a plane. This is the only point than anybody ever looked over at me while I was watching the race because I was trying everything I could to not make a sound because it's trying to be polite and respectful of the people around me. But I was started shaking my head and going, oh, when I am not even at the time of the wreck, as I saw Kyle, Larson hitting the brakes to go into that turn because I was like, this is about to be freaking disaster because there's no way he's making it through that turn. And then Kazlauskiene dad like develops super late in the turn, and he just Bom wall and then mayhem. After that. That was number one. And then you had, I'm gonna ask you what your favorite was out of all these in the second. Then of course they clean up that mess red flag. Restart sub. I side tricks, Jimmy Johnson, as we all know, Johnson tries to dive bomb into the last corner. He spins out, takes treks with them, Ryan Blaney wins the race, then the other thing collar CIN comes back from that catastrophe. His car is literally. It's like the scene in the blues brothers at the very end after the big car race or the car chase with the wrecks and everything, and they get out of the car to go in and take the money inside and the close the door and all of the body panels falls..

"So this ex, my car, not even my karma. Who did this this time? So we'll talk about that here in a bit. Oh. So then on top of all of this, all right. So tricks wins, Bo segments because of that. Cobb. Slower I call bowed. Great. I don't know what you're talking about. Who won the race. We watched him win the race. Did they talk about this on NBC? Would they have talked about this on FOX. Call Bush after the great battle with break his Laskey wins the race. And like you said, he was what third or so on the leaderboard in terms of laps led. He was second. He was, are you kidding? He was second ninety two after tricks. I wish that had Sirius XM NASCAR satellite radio now because I want to call the guy who sounds like him up at and I just wanna say, explain to me how this makes sense because everybody all twenty five people who are at the race and all seventy five people who watch on TV. Everybody knows that Kabushiki had a one of the top three cars if not one of the top two cars, he led second, most laps, he took the checkered flag. He outrace. He did it by all-race announced out, strategizing, but outracing break his housekeeper on the track. And yet he was not first in points in this race, those Martin tricks, junior, he wasn't second. I was Kevin Harvick. He wasn't third that was chase Elliott. He wasn't fourth. That was Eric Morel. He wasn't fifth. You ended up in the race, ninth? No Kabushiki who crossed the line first. We all agree had the best or one of the two best cars of the night. He was six points, fourteen less points at the end of the race, the March treks junior who didn't win Jack and didn't even finish. Second. Burying the lead Wilson. Oh, what's that? Finally, NBC's crawl at the end of the race that had forty points was correct. That's true. That is true because they never tell you how many points they really got at the and your average rate. He finally did it right. Got it, right. Yep, nobody. Nobody saw that race would say that Kabul had the six best car. And yet the point say he had the six best stuff in card doesn't make start thirty ninth for Pete's sake. Everyone forgets that he started thirty ninth because I don't know. We failed tech or lug nut. Yeah, so he got into record had to do some some cosmetic to it. It was impound race. I think I don't know. Yeah. And then on top of that, hey, remember hamlet points, but it's supposed to be like football. You're supposed to be able to tell that he's a head. He was a head for ninety two laps, and yet he had the sixth the minute, the problem with two laps for in stage three when it doesn't really matter. Apparently it doesn't matter. Apparently it is far more important to do a Martin tricks junior, didn't that because that's what the points are saying. The poyser saying it is far more import. I want to win the first stage and win. The second stage is to win the race. And if that's the message you're trying to send loud and clear. We all got it just give point stage points each. The third stage to, I didn't mean to hit the mic, emotional. I get it, but that's what they're saying. What they're saying is that those the first and the second stage are more important than the final stage if we're just talking points. Yeah, no, absolutely. Because you gain points so they should give tricks, junior, the trophy or a trophy we should. We need plastic trophy. Yep. He's get a plastic trophy for literally if they don't fix this next year, we're doing this. We have to. We, we've got victimless. It's absolutely ridiculous. Okay. So because of that here is where we stand. Okay. I'm sitting actually, here's where we sit. Kabua's wanna race. He is in the next round brackets. Laskey is one race. He's in the next round. Merton tricks, junior in on points wanted to percent, nothing. He. I mean, he could just he can drive straight men that tire wall. In fact, if I were probably would just so could and my night early and he's through Kevin Harvick same thing. One percent through everybody from fifth on Josh Pola Gano on down..

"End surprise finish yours. And then I have a fun little survey that NASCAR sent me. This did you? You didn't Email me about, okay, I did. You did. It's. It should be in your mailbox eat at last night when I got it. Oh, oh, yes. Let's talk about it because I, I'm completely in the dark then I, I didn't see it. So I'll be excited her what it's about. So Harvick of course he won both segments race sixty points. He the test again. And he also leads in playoff points. Now, remember he's leaving in playoff points with that penalty from where was Vegas or something like that where he lost his bonuses. So he's still ahead to call it his way head in terms of regular points that don't matter like these cookie points, but Harvick is and play points, which may make a difference who knows Bush was third on the track. Second points, rhyme, blaming fifth on the track somehow, third implants, Kurt Busch, six than fourth in the makes you wonder, where was the guy who finished second brag his Lansky. He was fifth implants with thirty nine followed by Austin Dillon, six points, and he had third in points while so he's fourth on the track on six points. Now, I was surprised by Dylan, was him finishing fourth? It was his second best finish of the season outside of winning the Daytona five hundred and only his fourth top ten of the air, which begs the question should we really have the wind in your him policy now. Or we bump it up to you have to be in twentieth and points. Yeah, there said that point. You have to do that now almost because somebody good. It's not gonna make it because he gets in. Yeah, which I mean sucks. But I mean, I guess that adds to the drama and make it makes it makes NASCAR get onto the thing that they talked to Sergei about little more Eric Morel finish seventh, and he, he is the next polar nothing. Because in the last eight races, he's had four top tens including the seventh and four finishes outside the top twenty. I mean, he's still making me look, terrible gonna, say like you getting a little petty here. I know, but it literally is all or nothing for him. I mean, he finishes fifth or twenty. Fifth, it's really weird and Daniels wars. Okay. So Daniel Suarez had the start from the back of the pack and finished eleventh. If that team wouldn't keep having mistakes and bad luck. He would be in playoff contention. I mean, going all the way back to the beginning of the year because there was a big stretch where he was solid, but then he get caught up in somebody's wreck and the now they make the mistake. I can't remember if they had to replace something. They failed inspection, whatever it is they had to go to the back Michigan where track position is super important..

"Tobias harris actually led the team in touches with ninety one and andre drummond had fifty so they were they love to run south through the elbows or they love to run guys office screens and so bradley's job is to shoot the ball more than to distribute but i thought he was a little bit too aggressive you'll only three of eleven but to find the number of good shots that he took it was a very small portion of that eleven way and something else that was interesting in this game was the way that philly used robert covington because they don't really have that guy who you want on ball you know they like to at least at this moment you know they're they're defenders are you know jay z radic is in great at that ben simmons is is not really perfect at that at this point so that a lot of the game they had grubber covington are reggie jackson and there were reasons for that obviously but you realized also the limitations of the other guys on like back cuts or on screens and things like that and they were giving up their giving it more open shots on two cutters and then on the perimeter then you would expect from the sixers in kind of their final forms few other small notes here uh we got to see some minutes of run marianna bitch yeah us who to his credit by the way looks like he's still in excellent shape despite playing rarely heat he went against him beed there are actually playing eric morel and is the backup center and he immediately got in foul trouble against the speed it up open actually did okay i think they might have been loath to go that majid dudin beach shooting of though it and beat is actually shot pretty poorly from 3point range in asserted actually passing those up for laughable i i still think pope on like if the other team as a traditional center in the game i will give him some run he really is like extremely scoop he made like a feet away hook shot lease got these huge hansie's get great touch an extension on his who shot a with either hand it i mean the.
