"The tag enough to get my hand in there. Whether or not I came off, you know, Um it's tough. It's frustrating. That's calling made. It's time just the way it goes, I guess you know, I mean, it's it's it was. It was a really close play. Don't obviously know what's going on when they're talking in New York there, So that was a call and you live with it. Yeah, they talk to New York and none of us really know. Uh, what's general? What? They're talking about a route that goes down so we can get more reaction from Gabe Capital on Anthony Disco findings. Start yesterday Display find it came out that was going to be a tough one. I thought for a minute. Mookie Betts Leadoff home run next month. See a home run next month. He's the one guy my body through this out to me yesterday. Hate. I mean, if you're are if you're my age 32 it like? I understand there's a Steve Garvey's. I understand you can go further back with Tommy Lasorda is the hated Dodgers of all time. Oral Hershiser is one that I know my my mom is. Susie hates Brett Butler, who was a giant and then left and said he felt like God always wanted him in Dodger Blue. If you hate him, for that reason, that's that's just fine with me. Um, but my buddies was throwing out yesterday goes dude. Besides Eric Gagne and Paula Duca, if you're in your thirties like I am or or around my age Max Muncy has quickly climbed the ranks of most hated Dodgers of all time for me, especially, I didn't like Eric Karros when I was much younger. I know he's a broadcaster doesn't really bug me all that much. Steve Lyons was a guy I used to work me a little bit on T V. And now as a member of the media, I've gotten over that a little bit. But when it comes to guys on the field who have really bothered me? Yes, Shawn Green was super good and never really felt like he was demonstrative. Er, in my way was kind of like Rafael for call. Adrian Beltre was a monster and was better known for playing. For other teams and the Dodgers after he left Jason Worth kind of a pain in the ass, And then he ends up leaving, and it wasn't there to do the most damage of his career that he did. I think he did this in Philadelphia and Washington. Other cities. So Max Muncy for me as a guy who comes out of nowhere, a guy who they grab off the scrappy from the A's and then just becomes this absolute giant killer. Every single day is just one of the most frustrating elements of the game. He gets Bumgarner and he barks and Bumgarner and he continues to do it against this Giants roster. So anyway, can be are thrown out there your most hated Dodgers. But next month you for me the home run yesterday. I could do without it like Mookie Betts. Yeah, he's a Dodger, but he was a red sock quick. He's done things with other teams. I don't hate him like a Who's that? Walker Buehler is that we were saying, yes, he But Walker Pillar is not a guy who I look at, and I'm like, Damn screw that damn like, Yeah, He's a Dodger, but it doesn't hurt me all that much to me. He's what frustrates me is he's like they're They're Tim Lincecum, albeit not as explosive. Still pretty damn good, though. So, by the way, giant will see Walker Buehler tonight. We'll continue with this conversation on the other side. DeSclafani. Gabe Kapler talking about these go. Uh, well, Tebow debone. Thank you keeping them in the ballgame yesterday and then Kapler on his decision. Pinch hit Curt Casali over Austin Slater yesterday interesting move, by the way, talking about who the emergency catcher could be. That's so awesome. Slater's name in there. That's a guy who could do it played some second base plates and third base played some first base plays, left center and right. He's going to have a catcher's glove kicking around somewhere right? Because I'd imagine. In recent years Pablo was the emergency catcher being he came up as a catcher. So anyway, we can get into that on the other side. Also to your text. 808 can be our 415. Eight..

"They sell some nice things where you could put him in the top top loaders like you've come to know, because I know your nickname was sleeves for awhile, so put him in a panty sleeve. Put him in those top holders. They've got a case you could put on your wall and display 36 45. There's a lot of Tom Seaver cards out there, including I mean that White Sox card collaborating his 3/100 win? Sure, and his assurance into the Hall of Fame Twitter, right? How about a Fresca Mike and swollen down the Jason Smith show with my Carmen? Now? This is the baseball story that we all needed today. You didn't know you needed this social media message. But you did, because, surprisingly, Joining today, Twitter. Facebook, Instagram or the Graham is the kids say, joining all three of these social media formats, none other than the most legendary major league baseball play by play outside there ever has been. Vin Scully joins all three of these social media and but apparently Vin Scully, Okay, he's been retired for a couple of years, still wants to do things. He's going to be talking baseball on all three of these formats, and here was his Welcome to Twitter moment. If you wondered why Welcome to Twitter was trending today. It's because everybody wanted to welcome the goat Vin Scully to Twitter. Hi, everybody and a very pleasant good afternoon to you. This has been making his debut on social media, and it's nice to be welcomed. I'm delighted to see if I can't serve you in any way of shape or form. We might chat about a famous date in baseball or a player or a team and hopefully nothing controversial. This is strictly a meeting of friends having some fun talking about our favorite subject, so pull up a chair and be ready to join me hopefully in the very near future. As we start our careers together on social media. And now a time out from this welcome for farmer John Sausage. You know if there's anybody who can put out something on social media and say nothing negative and no controversy here, there is literally nobody who could do that and have people the only guy that might be able to get away with that is then Scully. If Vin Scully says no controversy, and I'm going to go in his timeline and still see people go, Blake, you've been Ralph Lawler was better or job is better than you right now. You know, we really is he really going to be able I couldn't stay away from that. Or does he have that kind of power? Where people OK, Vin Scully says no controversy. We don'thave controversy. Yeah, I think the main thrust of that one. Jason is that you're not getting controversy from him. I think he's well aware that the dopes are going to be out in mass and find the the account and the mentions. But you know, you could always turn some of that stuff off. I think what he was alluding to more than that. You're not gonna have a hot mike, where he says that dirty son of a You know, from the side of Caesar. Some guy he didn't like along the way. So you know, I think he was more talking that in terms of Hey, Don't ask me questions about controversial things because we're not going down that road, but you know, Social media. I saw many a column written, Vince say it ain't so Stay away. Twitter it. How about a Fresca? Mike? It's swollen. Don't if anybody could do it, I can't wait to see the mentions to go through is ago. Who's really going to say something? Controversial events Telly? You know was was was was Kirk Gibson's bat? Corked? You know, like all these things were going to see people and then see Vin Scully. Go. You Blankety blank Go blank. How do you feel about Eric Gagne now like there's ways to try to try to agitate And I mean, that's a one way you could. Certainly Ah. Get some buzz on social media. That's what you were looking for. Here is the guy that ticked off. It's going. He's got the story. And then here he has beaten, beaten to a pulp. By all these Dodger fans really got to be the case. Oh, my goodness. 877 99 on fox 8779966369 Jason Smith show with my bays, friend..

"Online in real time. Remember the rocket mortgage can J. Earlier You said that you were a big baseball guy. So I imagine that you love the movie majorly correct. Of course. So I want to pose this question to you guys 855 to 124227 Fully understanding that Major league is a movie, so you have to do some things you have to Been the truth a little bit. You have to do some things that maybe don't make a lot of sense in a really life kind of way. What's the most unrealistic thing in the movie Major league because I'm sitting down one day and I'm like, You know what? I haven't seen Major league in a long time. I've been watching a lot of baseball. Let me get back into the baseball mood, so I started watching Major league And this question popped in my head. So, Jay, I want to hear your answer, but this is my answer. The most unrealistic part about the movie Major league is the manager. Think about where Lou Brown Wass Lou Brown was working at a Firestone I don't know if he was the manager. I don't know if he was the owner of the Firestone. But when the Cleveland Indians call my man, Lou Brown he was working at Jiffy Lube. Hey, was working in Meineke. Whenever they call my guy. And remember, he didn't even immediately take the job. He's like, I don't know. I gotta I gotta para whitewalls coming. And then he said, I'll have to call him back. He had to think about if you wanted to be. The Cleveland Indians manager. I'm trying to think of a more unrealistic part of the movie. Now Major League is an absolute classic. There's some great characters, whether it's Willie Willie Mays Hayes are Rick Wild thing, Vaughn. Or Pedro Cerrano. I mean, there was some great all time characters. It's maybe the best sports movie of all time, this side of rocky But I want to know from you guys. What's the most own realistic thing In the movie Major league? You could call up 855 to 1 suit for 2 to 7. Our tweet Me Cdot Harrison or CBS Sports Radio. So J. You're a baseball guy. You love the movie Major league because nobody who loves baseball doesn't love the movie Major League. What's the most unrealistic thing in the movie? From a baseball standpoint? I'm not sure that while things hold onto his closer job for that long I mean the inconsistency. You know the stuff there, but the you know it is almost a liability out there for any team that he's going to be on. So I don't think that I'm a manager. I have the patience to stick with a guy that long. We also aren't even talking about the fact that he was an unknown guy from prison. Exactly that he's an unknown guy from prison. Then he's like, Hey, where'd you play ball That last year, the fall League double a California penal. What? That you could go from prison to the major leagues. If you're an established guy like you are, Vic and you're the man before you go out. People will want to see if you still got it. That's not what Rick Wild thing Vaughn Wass with a 29 year old convict that is enters the major league and then becomes Eric Gagne. Like very unrealistic. I'll tell you another thing in the movie J. It's very unrealistic. You do not have the ability for a walk on tryout for Major League baseball team. You don't I know you work in media? Maybe you know somebody, but next time they met to the Yankees. Are convening for spring training. Just try to randomly show up and see what happens. Just randomly show up and then tell them I'm playing on putting a hitting display. Tell them that And then Let's see if they let you stay there long enough for you to fall asleep. So if you remember in the movie Major league Willie Mays Hayes goes to sleep. They then go and they checked the box. They then realize his name's not on the box. Okay, all right. They then move my man from the dorm. And take the bed outside. I don't know how you guys were sleepers. I'm not sleeping through somebody picking my bed up, setting it outside and still sleeping through the night. I mean, I hear birds outside shirt, but I instantly wake up and think so. I tried to break into the house. So Willie Mays Hayes is in this scenario. He then wakes up in the middle of nowhere and says, How about I'm cut and then no stretching. No warm ups. No shoes still in his pajamas, my man. Beats two other guys in a race who have been doing all of those things and then gets to stay around on the team and then makes the team even though we can't hit That doesn't happen. Is a lot of things in the movie major leagues. That's very unbelievable. Now, J. I will say this I don't know if this happens all the time. I'm not a major league baseball player. But I do think There have been situations. Where someone on the team talked to another team mates whether its current girlfriend, ex girlfriend, current wife, ex wife and had absolutely no clue. Maybe you haven't been around long enough. I believe that had happened. But here's my question to you, Jay. How does this happen at the end of the season like you were telling me that the Indians never had any team function in which Dorn brought his wife? So she was around the team. It's not like Rick Vaughn with some September call up. He was a critical member of the team..

Major league baseball Willie Willie Mays Hayes Cleveland Indians Rick Vaughn Willie Mays Hayes fall League Jay Lou Brown Rick Wild Firestone Meineke Jiffy Lube Yankees Pedro Cerrano CBS California Cdot Harrison Eric Gagne
