"Throw president Zone Touchdown T. Higgins his second touchdown catch of the afternoon, and the Bengals have a chance to regain the lead. That's Dan Hoard and Dave lap, Um, with the call on Cincinnati, ESPN 15 30, the Bengals radio network. Welcome back to NFL Fantasy forecast on Westwood one along with Sports Illustrated senior fantasy analyst Michael Fabiano. I'm Amber. Theo Harris. All right, Babs. It is time for the wide receivers and I imagine hearing that highlight coming in, you're going to say Start to Higgins. Yes, I am a fan of Higgins as I mentioned earlier in the program. I think this is going to be a high scoring game between the Bengals and the Vikings Last year, Minnesota's defense gave up 24 touchdowns, two wide receivers the sixth most points. I can start Higgins, Tyler Boyd and even Jamaar Chase. If I'm in a deeper league as a flex player, I'm also starting Brandon Aiyuk looks like he's going to be good to go against the Detroit Lions last year, their defense Gave up an average of more than 44 fantasy points per game. The wide receivers I don't think there'll be any better this year, Deebo Samuel also in the mix for fantasy managers, and then let's talk about Leviticus and all against the Houston, Texas. Now, here's one of my favorite wide receiver sleepers, a guy that I tried to get late in drafts. Last year, this defense in Houston gave up 22 touchdown catches and the seventh most fantasy points to wide receivers. They could be worse in 2021. So I like the viscous, you know, as a flex starter or wide receiver three And in that same game, Brandon cooks. Let's put this in the category. Amber of somebody's got to catch the football for the Houston Texans, right, And I think it's going to be Brandon cooks. This could end up being a high scoring affair. He is going to be the number one option for Tyrod Taylor in the passing game. So cooks is on my radar as a flexor, a wide receiver three How about your sits at wide receiver? Odell Beckham Jr. And I know this is not going to be a popular opinion. First off, he's not 100% and second off. This chief's defense is very good. Okay, They allowed an average if you were the 136 receiving yards per game, the wide receivers last year And folks, O. B. J has averaged about 12 points per game during his time in Cleveland, so he's not been more than a wide receiver. Three. I would avoid him if possible. Same thing with Kenny Golladay. He will be ago this week for the G men, but he didn't really have much time during the preseason again. A report with Daniel Jones. I think this offense starts off somewhat slowly, so Kenny G is a fade for me. Marquez Callaway. Now this guy has been one of the big names and fantasy football during the preseason camp. Here's the problem. He is the only wide receiver that the Saints really have the besides Deonte Harris, and that means he's going to draw Jr Alexander I just don't like this matchup. I like Calloway. I like the upside. I don't like the opponent this week. And then finally, I will give you a warning. I understand that you have to play Allen Robinson. I get it. I've got to play Allen Robinson. Here's the problem. All right, Jalen Ramsey. This is not a good matchup for Allen Robinson. So I get it. If you're in a redraft Dynasty keeper you've got to play in this week. Understood? Indeed. FSA. I would avoid him. I'll tell you who you should not sit. Antonio Brown already did that. And I paid for it This way. He gone Thursday night. Someone did not read my startup instead. Um, copy I will. I will continue. I should. I should read your stardom. Cinema on Sports Illustrated much more often. And I will do that. From now on. Let's switch over to the Titans. Who should you start? I like Logan Thomas against the Chargers guy who saw a boatload of targets in the second half last year as one of the top options for the football team. And now Curtis Samuel is going to be missing a few games He's been put on the injured list. That's even more targets for Thomas, and the matchup is good against lightning bolts. I also like Dallas, Qatar this week against Atlanta. They gave up 10 touchdowns and the fourth most fantasy points too tight ends last year. No offense. Good to go. I'd get him in my lineup as a low and tight end one. The Giants had a tough time against tight ends last year, especially on their home field. And then Tyler Higbee. Do I feel it could end up being a pretty good late run bargain for fantasy managers. No more. Gerald Everett, which means take me will be the number one tight end in a potentially explosive Rams offense. Last year, the Bears defense gave up 12 touchdowns. Two enemy tight ends. All right. Who should we sit at tight end? You mentioned Gerald Everett already. How about Jared Cook? Yes, Jared Cook is someone that I would be avoiding. Now Cook is a guy who I think could be a very, very nice option. When the matchups right the matchups. Not right this week. The football team have one of the top defenses in the National Football League, so I would keep him on the bench. As you mentioned Gerald Everett against the Colts. I would also fade him. Eric Ebron is a fate for me as well. I don't know how many points the Steelers are going to put up against that Buffalo defense and Eric Ebron at this point is probably the fourth best option in the passing game behind a slew of wide receivers that the Steelers have and then Cold commit while I like him. Long term. I don't like him this week against the Rams. Keep him on the sidelines. Alright, Good stuff. Babs. Get ready for the biggest kick off Sunday Ever for the first time in NFL history opening weekend will feature four games on Sunday afternoon. In all markets too early games at one o'clock eastern and too late games at 4 25 Eastern This Sunday on CBS and Fox still to come, who are the best daily fantasy bargains will fill you in next..

"So it's not it's not like it's just the nfl transition and where what the raiders are having an do. It's mostly the fact that he's a great guy but he's never gonna be your number one receiver and markey's brown. He's a great guy. He's a great speedster. He has a lot of speed. You can take the poplar defense. But he's never gonna put up to production and be number one receiver be the super valuable fantasy assets. So we're looking at jalen model. Who i think is much better than marquee. Frown i think is much better than henry ruggs but i still have some hesitations about jalen bottle. Which is why i would say. He's maybe not even the third best receiver in this class. Long-term dynasty wise. I think he's a valuable piece to the dolphins offense but they still have wealth fuller. They still have the binding parker who i still not in not completely out devante parker some good football on If he can stay consistent. I still think will fuller has some good football on. I still think those guys can be legit number one options for an offense. Have they have great year. I think that jalen model. He's not he's not next tyreek hill. Unfortunately no one's next hiree kill. I think he's a good receiver. I think he will end up being a wide receiver to on your fantasy team in years to come but now i don't think that he is elite. Fantasy option. Tyreek hill is a one of a kind player. And i don't think we'll see any anyone like him For years to come personally. He says he's this something about bill. Jalen wild seems like yes similar speed. But it's hard to compare anyone to tyreek hill with the things that he doesn't a football field and the giants went ahead and picked cadavers. Tony also for the same reason Speed kills and again. I have a problem with this. Pick as well because not only do. The giants have weapons there in slate in shepherd and kenny golladay eric ebron Ingram and saquon barkley already. But now you're trying to add in tony with the twentieth overall..

"Eric ebron did not live up to the heifers. The top two employer of howard. He hasn't been like we haven't seen one of those guys that we've expressed or sit a. This is a generational talent at the tight end position that's going to dominate dominate. When they walked in. And i liked office on like i like what he does. But he's do but no. It's not only him. It's the guy who's designing place for him. Because that's what you also have to scout. How many guys know how to unlock the tied in. I don't believe every operas. According to leak knows how to unlock or utilize a guy that is like outfits. And so i don't know so i'm a little lower on calpis in terms of what he would do coming into the league than others because i just don't know someone knows how to play with him correctly as video game. Here's here's here's the good news. The good news is if you have a coach who's not smart enough to know how to feature him as a tight end just planning. It'd be better than anybody. He's not higgins. i'd take him at number five even if he never puts his hand in the dirt. Gosh so he has an extra owners. He played the best corners in the best conference and he cooked them all cooked all of them. I'm just gonna. It's a good discussion. Because i am the wolf when it comes to the senate. I think he's super talented. I like what he does give in space and all that he's a jumble wide receiver. We have seen that position have success. But we've also seen people find difference makers in later rounds and so if we talk about more key positions in team building. Dj that's never been the position that we talked about. A pillar team is tied in. Like never say what. I'm not gonna mention any names because this got sideways. But what if what if a certain particular. Someone wasn't popping wheelies on his motorcycle in a mini mall parking lot. Do you think we'd be having this conversation. I don't know who who's popping wheelies in many more. Remember to remember how good k. to was oh he decided he wanted to be okay. Yeah yeah all right. He was he was the best. I didn't have to great him. I didn't have the great him and obviously no coming out of. Yeah he was. He was the he was unbelievable. He was and jeremy shockey was a their value. But like you know a year like this early two thousands like this time. That's why with like this guy. He's he's just different and sometimes it's like. Hey i don't wanna take a guard with the second. Pick but darn it if i n c anybody like clinton nelson before it was the best. Run blocking offense. Vlad i've ever evaluated..

I mean he's one of those guys you don't need to see to produce the amazing thing about him. It's like what who was the highest drafted tight end. It will be him. it will be him right. yeah. I don't know what the number was before. That's a good question. Anybody wanna take a stab at google. It i know that we drafted kyle brady ethic with the sixteenth. Pick at penn state. Yes he's got to be up. There was heath miller a first round draft choice. How about a green green green Play for the dolphins. Clean green green eric green. I don't know how long how long ago was that. He played for the eagles the dolphins and it was it was green. I don't think the right name. I if if we're thinking of the same dude. Highest drafted tight end anyway. Call pits had an eighty three and three eighths inches wingspan. Ooh by the way. That's a longer wings belonged wingspan than any wide receiver. "ESPN radio. The ESPN happened since Exxon Channel 80. For the first time, his NFL NFL life in an NFL career. Matthew staff is gonna find out how the other half lives, meaning he asked the legitimate chance to be a playoff quarterback and win a playoff game. When he gets there he is Now I've lost Angeles Ram Jagoff goes the other way. The Rands give a first round pick in 2022 2023, a third round pick in 2021 along their quarterback Jared Goff. And you and I, both Matthew Stafford fans. We would love to see nothing better for him to succeed because I don't think that we've seen a guy that has had that kind of career. That kind of pedigree, but not one playoff win to show for it. Now with that coach with that defense, and for the first time is NFL life. A competent running game. Matthew Stafford does not have any more excuses, and I guarantee you that's exactly the way Matthew Stafford wants it. Yeah, he's never given an excuse ever. I mean, people have made it for him. But you've never heard him say, Well, if I had a running game or fire this or if I had that Not once ever since he was drafted number one overall out of Georgia in 2009. Has he ever given an excuse? Never And that's part of reason. I love again. You know, he is wife, man. They did so much. And the Detroit community every Tuesday in an off day. Where were they doing? Taking books and food to inner city schools, You know, and No. Hey, it was it was remarkable what he did, and he wanted nothing more. Then to deliver. Any kind of someone's of hope on winds. To the city and surrounding areas of Detroit now. He goes to l. A. Where the Rams and he's got a defense. He's got weapons and get ready, because think about this Matthew Stafford. Since he got into the league, there's not a single quarterback has had more dropped passes. Then Matthew Stafford, his hat. There's not a single team does have fewer average fewer rushing yards in the entire league. Over more than a decade, the Matthew Stafford has had and he never ever once said. This is why we can't win. Just put his head down, and so let's go to work. Well, if we win, you're bringing hell with it. Let's go, man. Let's do our jobs. And you've got two years left on his contract. It's a team friendly deal. I could not be happier for a guy who all he wanted to do was win for the guy next to him, and for the city. He played it. Never in that now, one time. Would you hear any of those stats that just rattle off come out of his mouth. Human character Citizen Twitter Common. ESPN and Indian fits ESPN, saying the Matthew Stafford As that stud skill position players his entire career. Hey, UMA Cactus, other than Calvin Johnson name another one. You can't because that person is not existed. Marvin Jones is good, but not a stud. Yeah. I mean, he has had a stud tight and very Sanders, right? They got the Eric Ebron, Not a stud tied in. Nope. Has had a lot of stuff. Offensive lineman. I'm not trying to make excuses for Matthew Stafford is a good player, Good player, not a stud play. If you want to say he's been surrounded by good players. I'll buy that. But stud players, he's only had one. Calvin Johnson, and when they were together at the height of their powers, they still didn't have enough help because they had to be studs or us. That team had no chance winning ball games or competing in ball games. Yeah, you're not talked about it a time where when it comes to Not having a running game ever again. I can't emphasize this enough. Since he was drafted. No team has had fewer 100 yard rushers or average, less. Rush yards per game. And then Matthew Stafford, is that and you again. You'll never hear him say a word about it Never has. And he won't. But you know and still 123 playoff game. We know Jim calling out one top 10 defense is once in this attack career and that you know 1, 11 5 rams. You're getting a boy dog warrior coming to you. Who has his John Locke to the point where he's wearing enamel off of his teeth. And get ready because hell's a coming and he is I am as big a Matthew Stafford fan as I am to have any player in all of professional sports. In my biased Yeah, because my brother was on that staff for five years, But you hear the stories, right? When your way with all the family around the campfire and you know all of a sudden, you know, the Here, you know, Tell me about Matthew Stafford and you know in covering six different games. Which bottle is amazing when you know being covering your brother in the NFL right game, he's coaching inn. But you over here, things right behind the bench or or in pregame Stafford is in a leader of men. And you wonder why Brad homes, new lines. GM gave up all of that. Two first rounders, a third You know to get Jared got to go to Detroit. For Matthew Stafford one. It shows you what Holmes believes and when he was a member of the scouting department when the Lions what's moving the Rams? Think in and drafted Jared Golf. He thinks that he's got a young, talented quarterback that just needs to be re calibrated. Okay, Well, good. That's I'll tell you this. That's a lot to take on this one thing to move on from Matthew Stafford, you're rebuilding. But a Jared Goff can't fix himself. That's a lot that you gave up for God, that's still in. There is private quarterback Jared Goff has a lot to prove you're Matthew Stafford is a lot to prove. There's no excuses. Jack Golf has a lot to prove as well, because people wondering want you the same guy that got this team. The Super Bowl, and two years later, you fell out of favor, but just about everybody in that organization it they You hear reports of work ethic and look, man, if you ever needed a wake up call after in, look. Ah, lot of this. Freddy, By all reports came after he signed that record setting deal of $110 million money can change a guy. Some guys maybe you did. But you want to get brought down to Earth in a hurry, get traded. And that just happened. So now you get to experience what Stafford is this done for a decade, and Stafford gets to experience what you had helping lead.

"I'm going to put you in situations to actually win football games when you play well and I'm going. Give your you your pick of whichever receiver you want in free agency and we're going to pair you together as a package deal and that's how we're going to go about this thing. If not as good as the Forty Niners already ready made a fence, but it's a probably the second best pitch that Matthew Stafford's going to get But that doesn't you just put you just proved my point right as interested. We don't know. We don't know how much the foreigners are willing to give up. You know, that's scary. Maybe the 49ers stick with Jimmy Garoppolo and that'd be huge. But again, let's say you know, okay, let's say that another team. That's the talking about the Broncos. Let's say as you know, what I watch from the STC, you know, I'm from the SEC and watched a lot of Alabama and that kid Jerry jeudy man. I'd love to throw him the ball. I love to throw the ball more now and Robinson. You can't get your Judy. Maybe he says George Skittles my guy, you know, I like throwing TJ Hawkinson wage. I like doing Eric Ebron back in the day. TJ kettles my guy. You can't get George Kittle. That's what like drinking George Kittle for you Matthew, but I can't get to Hunter Henry. But doctor Henry's. And can you maybe Hunter Henry, you know, maybe there's there cuz there are other teams with cap space Henry doesn't cuz now you're compounding. There's a problem. There's a problem. Okay, if you don't get Matthew Stafford, I don't know if you can sell Hunter Henry or Allen Robinson or any of these other guys coming in here without the Matthew Stafford job real quick. I'm not disagreeing with a point but you you can't use those guys unless you're going to Tamper and I know that there's tampering that goes on but this has been pretty intense tampering unless you can go to me unless you can call Matthew Stafford. They were excited when they hired Bobby Ross. They were excited when they hired Steve Mariucci. They were excited when you know Bob Quinn came in because he was the next guy. Sometimes excitement of Hiree Day. Doesn't matter. It's going to come down to what he does. That's correct. Thank you, Dan. Always good to talk to you. Thanks, guys. Appreciate and Miller lines play by play, man. Um, yeah, I just think that at this point Long suffering Lions fans that they're they're They're deserved some kind of excitement and something bold and you know, this is again always hire or fire on years when this seven other opens, they never fire their coach of GM on here, where there's no other openings. Well, is there every year where there's no one? There was always a year where there's like last year before. Last thing is only two openings. And there was, you know, very rare. Yeah, but it's those years every time you give me that coaches, always eight other teams to get rid of it to say that, so they always gotta fight. But But these guys and you know, like you said, Mr There's no real candidate out there look like urban Meyer. So if you think of God from college but isn't who was who was a candidate for coach, there's like no, there really are. There aren't really aren't very many great ones. Right now. Nobody is coming back to the game who was great and just stepped away for a couple of years. And then next year, Tom Landry junior and then Bob, greasy jewelry. All these guys out there looking for a job? Yeah. Rocky Jr New Iraqi forward Vince Lombardi. That part The six movie out there? Yeah, Whatever Partitions grandson doing, Kevin. I'll find out they have a haven't the number seven pick in the draft, and so Uh, they may have just selected him to get that right. Who knows? Hey did he was on the selection, although I'm sure he didn't do it by himself. For Aaron Donald the year that the Lions took Eric Ebron, so if they just could have switched those two positions, the lines probably wouldn't have needed to hire another coach. What do you think this offensive coordinator for the Chiefs? You know, it's good. Yeah, right. Yeah. Yeah, but never coached his head coach, right? No, I don't think there's that brought Roberts led the defensive for, uh, for Marvin Lewis is done right to please don't hire Marvin Lewis. If you want people get excited. At least I'd rather have an offensive coordinator. Take another chance on somebody who might be the next great thing. Marvin Lewis has proven what he could do in the NFL many, many years. It's just it's not going to change if you want the mad about who he likes. You think he's Stafford? No, I don't think they Why would just keep bevel though? All right? Come on now why you would make a case. Making. What did he What did he do? Great in the five or six games that he had? I thought he was one of them. I thought he changed the atmosphere completely. I think they're very they're fresh. You.

"I chased on sunday. Because i got creamed on saturday and i got creamed on saturday because i had ronald jones in every single lineup. I paired ronald jones with With high priced alvin. Kamara ride my saturday. Sunday lineups. So i put ronald jones in all those lineups and then up. He obviously got hurt warm ups. He wasn't inactive. So there was no opportunity to swap out so I went out. And i got so i went out on sunday. And i'm like i'm gonna chase this. I'm gonna try to create some diversity. I played ben rothlisberger. i played juju. I played shapes claypool. And i played eric ebron in every line up and fortunately because of what happened. That cashed eye cream hunt. So i had a really big sunday But i gotta tell you next year. I am looking forward to that combined. Saturday sunday slate. Six games in one weekend is in fact. Dfs nfl slate. They weren't the main slates. The main slaves draftkings were the saturday and sunday slate but that combined slate was a lot of fun to play and there was a lot more diversity in your lineups based on the fact that they were six games. Unfortunately i picked the wrong guys. I also had anthony miller in the chicago game when he got elected which wasn't very good But i ended up having. I ended up having a a pretty profitable sunday but i really like the super wildcard weekend for defense because it gives you two three game slates or a six game slate and that was a lot of fun to play are there. I haven't looked at yet. Joe or their saturday sunday. Slates at draft kings this weekend or excessively four-game divisional round. We'll be there are there are there are. There are Saturday sunday slate so Yeah i mean. It's a i prefer. I'm not really much of a showdown player that being a one game slate. I'm not much of a one game slate player so i'm going to gravitate towards the full weekend slates but if you wanna play saturday sunday games. You can do that as well so we are going to dive into these games. Every line i give is from draft kings and it's informative because it helps you know what they think. The score will be a team total stuff like that. So we'll start with the packers and the rams and you know. I think it was the fantasy. Feast redraft league. Joe cam akers was my guy. Unfortunately he had like that trough during the season where he did nothing and was injured for a good chunk of the year but now he's looking pretty sweet and i think mcveigh is going to try to run the ball down the packers throats like the niners did in the nfc championship game last year. Oh absolutely i. I mean it and just look at this logically look at how makers looked by the way a greg. Cosell sent me a text on prompted and he was like talking about how good cam akers looked in. He started to see guy he that came out of florida state. And it's hard not to see the parallels between cam akers and somebody like jonathan taylor now acres obviously injury problems that contributed to that but both guys got off to a slow start.

"Just it was a surprise cuz I could have never thought that would happen. I'm like no way the browser not going to win this game and they did and not only did they win the game. They were up 28 nothing in the first quarter. It's crazy to me. Now. It does have to be acknowledged that Pittsburgh handed them a lot of points. First of all the very first play of the game maurkice Pouncey Z nine-time Pro Bowl center for the Pittsburgh Steelers. He's a pro bowler this year snap the ball up over Big Ben Roethlisberger's head and the brakes are covered the bad snap for a touchdown bam. First play seven nothing like oh what a crazy way to start the game and then it got worse and worse and worse than a two interceptions and a three-and-out and the Steelers had three turnovers just in the first quarter by the end of the game. The Steelers had five total turnovers Big Ben had yeah. He had five hundred yards passing. He had four touchdown passes. Oh, yeah, by the way, Big Ben also had four interceptions. Oh, that's not good. That's very very bad off and I just the Steelers played terrible. They didn't show up. They looked disorganized. They did not look on the same page. There was a play where Eric Ebron probably should have stopped in the window Big Ben thought he was dead. Eric Ebron kept going it's a guy open who ran the wrong route and miscommunicated with the quarterback. It was not good. It wasn't pretty and it's just it's insane to me how far the Steelers have fallen from where they once were dead at one point during this season. I made a video I talked about how I believe that the Pittsburgh Steelers were a playoff team. They were running the ball very well playing good defense. They had receivers making plays left and right. Do you have to Johnson Chase Claypool Juju Smith Schuster, the guy had good running backs, like everything was running a very very smoothly for Pittsburgh early on this year. And in the second half of the year, they fell apart. They couldn't run the ball effectively. They their playmaking receiver suddenly stopped making plays dropped passes like crazy Eric Ebron, Jack Johnson was a massive culprit. It just got worse and worse and worse and Chase Claypool emerged as a really good player, but it's like man, it was so disappointing to watch this really capable football team would fall apart and I just not to mention they had injuries on defense and made things even worse. They're they're probably the strength of their team their defense really got Kimpton fell apart as injuries piled up and the brown sorry the Steelers completely fell apart the Steelers just one point where a team I was very impressed with playing they were playing great football. I mean you can say well there were always signs. They weren't going very good. They're always overrated say what you want. They were playing fantastic football early on in the year and it just fell apart man. It's it's a It's a collapse a complete collapse the Pittsburgh Steelers and I want to really quickly touch on Juju Smith Schuster. Juju had a quote earlier this week and I don't know the intention if you watch the video of JuJu talking about it..

"Looks like that point spread might've been covered. You know what to quote the former Browns coach and former Washington coaches? Well, Marty Schottenheimer, there's a gleam men. There's a gleam after the Steelers felony 28 Nothing hold to start this game. They were down 35 to 10 at halftime. They have making things interesting here in the third quarter, about a minute and a half left In this third period, The Steelers have cut it to a 35 23 game after throwing three interceptions in the first half. Ben Roethlisberger with a pair of touchdowns now, 324 yards in the air, he found Eric Ebron and Juju Smith Schuster in the end zone to cut this deficit down. Now, if Cleveland hangs on, it will be their first postseason victory since 1994 and they'd move on to face the Kansas City Chiefs of Pittsburgh come back would be incredible. It would also be there 17 straight home victory over The Browns and would send this Steelers to Buffalo to play the bills. Now, the Baltimore Ravens finally demonstrated they can come from behind the erased An early 10 point deficit in Tennessee beat the Titans 20 to 13. And they so avenge last year's playoff loss and that testy regular season loss back in week 11 Lamar Jackson, punctuating his first career playoff win with 316 total yards and rushing touchdown, Marcus Peters the game clinching interception and then drew a taunting penalty for dancing on the Titans midfield logo, which you may recall the Titans did in Baltimore in November before beating the Ravens. "Scott Graham had the call Right here on Westwood One Christmas Day. Kirk Cousins had a day. People didn't know that because Alvin Kamara tied a record with six rushing touchdowns. Cousins had a heck of a fantasy days. We welcome back to NFL fantasy forecast on Western one sponsored by Draftkings, America's top rated daily fantasy up along with fantasy expert Michael Fabbiano. I'm Jason Horowitz, Micah's We head towards week. 17 Daily fantasy. Still the same as it is for daily fantasy weekend we got you picked the best players Get your salary cap and you go. Kirk Cousins at the top of your bargains list this week for quarterbacks. He's been very good over the last month and a half or so been very reliable, Very nice floor. Good ceiling. He's playing the Lions, who got boat raced by Tom Brady and Blaine Gabbert last week he comes in its $6300. Philip Rivers has got a great matchup against the Jaguars. He's only a $6000 player. Running back Malcolm Brown and Ty Johnson or both. Nice bargains at $4300 and wide receiver tea, Higgins and $5000. And then if you want to go really cheap. How about Richie James against the Seahawks with Debo, Samuel and Brandon? Are you both injured at Titan Herb Smith Jr. He's hot right now, and he's only $3900 on Draftkings and Evan Ingram. Although he's been up and down all season long typically does very well against the Dallas Cowboys. He's at $3700. All right, so those are the guys you like in daily fantasy. Let's go to the other side, those that you don't Mitchell Jarvis key at times this year towards the end of the season. It's been a really good in fantasy. Now. Whether or not that means anything for the Bears in the future is a different story. But they're in a situation you you win and you get in against the Packers team trying to sew up the number one seed. You don't like your biscuit this week in daily fantasy, even though he's not expensive? Yeah, No, I don't because the Packers defense is in very tough on quarterbacks this season. I think part of that is running backs have had so much success against them. And I think David Montgomery will have a lot of success to Biscuit. $5600 is a faith so his collar Murray He's not 100%, and he's got the Rams this week. And that defense is very, very tough at $7500 far too rich for my blood at running back James Connor and Leonard for net could both be limited this week in week 17. So keep them out of your DFS lineups. I feel like I've been telling people the fade Tyler Lockett for weeks. Why? Because I have and he's not producing it $5800. He is a fade chase Claypool against the Browns and 57 is a fade. So is Eric Ebron, his teammate with Ben Roberts, Burger out and Mason Rudolph under center for the Steel City. I am going to keep Iran out of my DFS line about $4000 and an awesome Hooper against the Steelers, whose defense is very tough find tight ends. He's a faded $3800. All right, So ah, Lot of the things here with daily fantasy are going to go hand in hand with some of your advice for weeks, 17 and leagues that people are in redraft lease, which is Hey, there's going to be players to get opportunities in week 17. They're gonna have big numbers. You might just not be expecting it. Is there a dollar value? Let's call it running back. Is there a dollar value for one of those names? Like in Alexander Madison per se, But you like you know what? That's it? That's a good play this week. If I can get a running back like an Alexander Madison like a Latavius Murray, for example, like a tie Johnson in that low $4000 range getting up. I'm all in because that will help me save money. In order to spend on more expensive elite fantasy players. And I hope that, for example, the guy like Ty Johnson, who has got the featured role for the jet set up here. No Frank Gore Noble Michael P. Ryan, really good matchup against the Patriots. That is a spot where I could potentially get a very solid stat line from a player who otherwise wouldn't have much value in DFS. All right, So there you go. There's your advice for daily fan is here week 17 on the other side. And her office. Burger is sitting for the Steelers. So it makes you think that Hey, this is gonna be all Cleveland knowing they have to win. So why is Baker Mayfield to sit this week started setting quarterbacks and running backs. Next. This is NFL fantasy forecast. Most have been fed. That's a fact have been. That's a family credit card.

"They didn't ask Ben Rossi Burger to, you know, take a bunch of deep shots down the field. He hit on a couple, but you know what they were doing Well was they opened up the running game for James Cotter. They hadn't done that several weeks. And they have three really good receiving options on that team. You saw him put out of the anti Johnson. You saw Chase Claypool go up and make some impressive places. You just miss Schuster. Oh, in the slot, was able to be find some advantageous match up. On, but they still have Eric Ebron in the middle of the field as well. That's a good red zone target. They just made life easier for Rocket Burger on D. He's kind of been like Brady where you know up until the last few weeks. You can't trust those guys to throw more than 20 to 30 yards down the field, so part of what led Pittsburgh to that 11 and no record was broccoli burgers, efficiency. He wasn't turning the ball over in the early portion of the season. He was completing a lot of 5 10 15 yard passes. He was accurate with those And you saw them get back to that type of game plan. And then when you're out when you have an effective running game that just opened things up for your office burger, so I think they can continue to go down the right past. I think that concern for me right now is the defense like that defense is what was an elite level during that winning streak on. Yeah, The cult has been a solid offense all year, but they can't stop the run. They're banged up in the secondary. No, I think they can go and steal a game. But there seems that I like a lot more in the A F C compared to go on keeping it with the A F. C. Are you buying what Baltimore selling because Baltimore's playing their best football of the season. Three of those four winds are also against Dallas, Jacksonville in the Giants. Yeah, they're getting hot at the ideal time, and I also I mean it all it comes down to whether or not Lamar's gun gonna lay an egg in the postseason rights. What's happened the last couple of years. It had opportunistic matchups in kind of what happened in that Jacksonville game is that they let Henry run all over him, and then they just couldn't have any answers in the second half of that game to try and have any sort of come back. You're also seeing more of an emergence from marquees Brown. Which they've been missing frankly, all season long. So I think Baltimore from from a dangerous perspective yet again, it it is pretty much the Chiefs and then maybe the bills and then everybody else so What is surprising if it ends up being the Ravens sounded down the stretch in the postseason. Probably not. It's a weird year, and they have the talent. Everybody thought it was gonna be the Chiefs and the Ravens at the beginning of the season, so if they can get healthy, that's the big thing right now, because Jimmy Smith is banged up. Marcus Peters is hurting the secondary. You've been asking a lot from that team over the last 456 weeks with their offense trying to just hang in there. On the defense has been coming in the last week. They were top foreign points allowed to wide receivers, so they need to get those answers fixed on defense immediately, and I think a lot of that will come with health. Right now we're talking to been Heisler. He's a do everything sports guy for the good folks over at Sports Illustrated. Let's stay with the playoffs and there's some big picture stuff. I want to ask you before I get you out of here talking about the NFL. Let's head to the NFC. We were talking about Tennessee and how kind of up and down they've been or have wide variance of what they are. What do you make of Arizona? Because Arizona should have had a playoff spot clinched already. They've lost. Some games are not supposed to lose, and now they find themselves in a must win scenario against Los Angeles on Sunday evening. Yeah, And I'm trying to figure out whether or not John Wall furs actually beating up create from Jericho off the way that you looked the last couple games now, I mean, I say that a little bit tongue in cheek. But what has God given you at pretty much? Nothing on those were those were games that they should have absolutely wrapped up and cleared out. And been able to win on now The Rams have an opportunity opportunity against the cardinal scene with the things of Cuyler Murray. They should win that game, assuming that the Murray is going to be able to go and I just imagine it's gonna be Murray, just chucking it 15 20 times. DeAndre Hopkins Theise you there is that you have Jalen Ramsey in that shadow match up on D even though Hopkins can get the best of them Rancid done a pretty good job on him in the past. So I actually think it'll be a fascinating that's about. I wouldn't count the Rams out just yet because you don't have any sort of film on this guy compared to when he was in college a handful of years ago, But you're right like it's just been so Jekyll and Hyde over the course of the season. I think about that matchup. Everybody was predicting the New York Giants a handful of weeks ago at home. They were on that five game winning streak, and the Cardinals just demolish them. Just beat him up. And then all the sudden you have a bad loss. On Saturday to San Francisco, so I haven't been able to figure out this Arizona he'd see that I'm trying to figure out where they're going to be with this, but it's going to come down to the wire between them in Los Angeles and over the last couple years. Sean McVeigh's offenses put up 30 plus points on Vance Joseph Defense, so obviously a different quarterback. But that's been a strategic advantage for the ramp. So don't kind of not just yet Earlier, we were talking about a circle of trust. And what teams would you put in your circle of trust? Make some noise in the postseason. Obviously you put Green Bay in that category in the NFC. Who else Because I think outside of Green Bay, and they have their own questions within their own right. There's major Knox on every other team. New Orleans with Drew Brees, Tampa Bay with if you can get any kind of pass rush against them, they're very different kind of team. Nobody likes anybody in the NFC East. We just talked about Arizona. How up and down they are. Is there anybody else in the NFC? You like Yeah, I liked Seattle. And I think it's because the defense of changes that they made a real eye. I think having a legitimate pass rush has made them so much better. I mean, think about the other type of numbers that they were putting up. They're dealing with all sorts of injuries in the early portion of the season. Russ was cooking. Everybody was happy, but they gave up 25 points to the Falcons. 30 points to Cam Newton. And the Patriots. I mean, I don't think the Patriots and scored 30 points in their last like 23 games. They haven't come close to that. So all of a sudden you're you're looking at a team that was giving up points and bunch of 31 points to the Cowboys, 26 to the Vikings 34 to the Cardinals. They were just leading scorer will against them. On Now, you look over the last Five weeks, no more than 20 points. 23 17 over the Eagles. They gave a 17 to the Giants, three points to the Jets. 15 Washington in the nine points against the ranch, like If that defense is legitimately turned themselves ourselves around. You have Russell Wilson giving opportunities with Chris Carson. He came back up that a terrific year you saw another reemergence Tyler Lockett, who's also close to 1000 yards once again. They're just going to be able to have opportunities to run the type of game plan that they want, which is more of a running based game to open things up for Russell Wilson and play action and take some of those deep shots down the field. So now that they're healthy, I actually think there it seems that could make a lot of noise and possibly even knock off Green Bay. Right now we're talking to been Heisler for a couple of more minutes. He's at Sports Illustrated. You do cover gambling. NFL n V P odds. Do you see a scenario in which patron Mahomes can win the award? Because Vegas right now doesn't seem to think so..

Because Arizona should have had a playoff spot clinched already, but they've lost some games are not supposed to lose, and now they find themselves in a must win scenario against Los Angeles. On Sunday evening. Yeah, And I'm trying to figure out whether or not John Wall furs, actually, piano create from Jericho off the way that you looked the last couple games now, I mean, I say that a little bit tongue in cheek. But what has God given you at pretty much? Nothing on those were those were games that they should have absolutely wrapped up and cleared out. And been able to win on now The Rams have an opportunity opportunity against the cardinal scene with a banged up Tyler Murray. They should win that game, assuming that the Murray is going to be able to go and I just imagine it's gonna be Murray, just chucking it 15 20 times. DeAndre Hopkins Theise you there is that you have Jalen Ramsey in that shadow match up on D even though Hopkins can get the best of them Rancid done a pretty good job on him in the past, so I actually think it'll be a fascinating matchup, but I wouldn't count. Rams out just yet because you don't have any sort of film on this guy compared to when he was in college a handful of years ago, But you're right, like it's just been so Jekyll and Hyde over the course of the season. I think about that matchup. Everybody was predicting the New York Giants a handful of weeks ago at home. They were on that five game winning streak, and the Cardinals just demolish them. Just beat him up. And then all of a sudden you have a bad loss. On Saturday to San Francisco, so I haven't been able to figure out this Arizona he'd see that I'm trying to figure out where they're going to be with this, but it's going to come down the wire between them in Los Angeles and over the last couple years. Shaw. McVeigh's offenses put up 30 plus points on Vance Joseph Defense, so obviously a different quarterback. But that's been a strategic advantage for the ramp. So don't kind of not just.

Can the Pittsburgh Steelers Go Undefeated?

"Are see. We are forced to listen to quarterback so often in the world of nfl analysis. So i just wanna thank you for helping lead. The db revolution espn daily. Why does this happen. You guys finally invited me or it's your time man your old team. The steelers are right now. Undefeated and that is surprising. Let's be honest to a lot of people. So how surprising is it though to you. I think it's it's. It's more surprising when you actually watch the games It's obviously surprising. Anytime team goes through more than half of the season and their undefeated. But when you watch the steelers play the second half against tennessee titans even watching them to send the backup quarterback gets the denver broncos or be dominated upfront defensively the way they were against the baltimore ravens but still be undefeated. I think that's the fascinating part is not just that they've managed to win. Every game is just inside of those games. you seen opportunities for them to lose. But they've made the place that they've to. I mean you can even look at a match up against the dallas cowboys and say you know gary gilbert and the dallas cowboys may have deserve to win that game. But that's what this lied about was going to come down to one possession games. He's gonna come our critical situation though football moments and at least it does far. The steelers have found answers to any questions in those important moments. And this is why you sit undefeated. So how does this defense stack up. Ryan versus the steeler defense. Is that you played for that. You helped lead. What are the holes in this defense. You know what. I don't think they necessarily have holes in the sense of of those things being a negative right. He's looking to make a rush. The passer with just for the obviously can bring bring pressure make fitzpatrick ultimate playmaker on the back end and i think they have really good corners. But they don't have that great court but when you all those things together i think you get one of the top defense in the league especially when it comes to pressure and turning the ball over we. That's what football is right. Like people aren't going to hold you. Thirteen points like we did wait. Like that's not the ball we play it. You can't intimidate people like i would get fined and kicked out of every game. Five play james harrison fell six million dollars a year. You can't do those things anymore. But if you could get the ball which the pittsburgh steelers do know that really helps and that's why this team world season. Well i wanna get into the difference between playing football then versus now especially because offense is king these days as you implied right there so the defense is the big reason. The steelers are undefeated. The offense though i mean they've been relatively relatively average so can eighteen built around defense. Like the steelers are ryan. Can that sort of team win in the modern nfl. I believe they can. I believe they can. Because if you look at the individual weapons offensively like they are extremely. good I think you you're missing that one running back piece but we look at pool. Smith schuster the johnson. Eric ebron like that's a skill set or skill position that a lot of teams would love to have especially teams not named became the city chiefs. And so if you can do all those things on the outside like they can. You can score points. Also look at this team at critical moments though. Think about tennessee. Titans having to get a drive late in the game even though been was a reception late like they were able to the ball greg band. There's gonna prevail on the road. The pittsburgh steelers had the hold on dearly man. Hold on they do for the baltimore. Ravens they score in the second half and they were able to do that then back pop. For the end zone touchdown pittsburgh and all the out cut to the chase. Claypool man play. It just seems that all the critical point of the season it's offense has been able to produce down to like. I said the dallas cowboy game last week obviously exploiting a very bad bengals defense and well in a team like the cat city chiefs right and i say okay. One had the baby stopped him have to limit big play. The pittsburgh steelers can do that with rush. Plays on the back end right. Play play man when they need to stop the big click now. Let's go offensively the only time we've ever seen patrick mahomes lose. He was in the playoffs. He was standing across from another super bowl. Winning quarterback that was tom brady and rothlisburger. Isn't tom brady but he can do. Some of those things in important moments. And we've seen of do those. And so i think this team can most certainly went into as you mentioned chase claypool his nickname if catching on with you but maple tron. He comes from canada. He's this guy. I didn't know anything about. I wonder if you did because he has seven touchdowns in his first nine games as a pro. What has he brought to this offense. I mean you look at what this league is turning into. Because of the lack of physicality it's a it's a size speed league right like it's starting to they used to be. It didn't matter what happened in the shorts olympics at the combine like if a fast it didn't necessarily mean it was going to translate do can do certain things there did me but it's starting to mean that at the wide receiver position because of the rules. Like if you could flat out run you're gonna probably get open because they can't hold you. You pass five yards. They can't hit you across the middle play putin critic who has great hands he tracks the ball. Well he has a big body and so when you have all those things just translate we've seen chase claypool. You know kind of come out of nowhere. They just kinda have a knack for finding people that sit what they want to do and utilizing them in a way. That truly helps the team chase. Claypool is just another example of that

Detroit Lions have released tight end Eric Ebron, less than hour before free agency set to begin

"Great night it was a great night rick was phenomenal very intimate setting answered a lot of questions i'm glad for the people who had a chance to go out to that event at the city club and we do a difficult dinner with a legend and we'll have another one coming up shortly and fitz hosted what i hear and did a nice job by the way the tease i had gone before going to the break was which nfc prominent nfl player cut today maybe headed towards the forty niners and i just read this one the detroit lions have cut their former first round pick the tight end eric e bron released by the lions and i only bring up ibran because you know he's talking about a big fast tight end with a lot of physical ability not the greatest hands in the world but he was drafted in detroit by martin mayhew who's now in the nine or front office in the niners always looking for big playability heck they just signed jerk mackinnon mckinnon is a big play receiver out of the backfield as a running back brian would give them a big playability tight end piece it'll be interesting to see if they make a play for eric e bronze seemed like since vernon davis for united been going through tight ends you know somebody who can stretch the seam and also maybe somebody who could really replace logan paulsen as a inline blocking option yeah so i think you may see them go after a tight end but hebron's interesting just because martin may you invested a you know a first round pick and him and he's demonstrated all that athleticism that he had it north carolina he's been inconsistent but he's a big play guy at the tight end spot and if you're looking for somebody to create space stretch the scene you know you know be that guy can get you a fifty yard pass play from the tight end position eric ibran might be what they're looking for.
