"So now they got rid of Jason Kerr they got rid of Chris Rashard they got rid of. Rod Marinelli they bring in a May skip. Told me Mike McCarthy I'm may may He made Iran they? Say that they won a super bowl together a decade decade ago. They McCarthy May man now look if every single year eighty, we go through this the cowboys are supposed to do this and we evaluate we look at them. But look at that talent eighty you been around you know it takes more than just talent to win into win big in this league. The cowboys are High Jerry Jones have been selling them. He does a great job of selling, but the cowboys not nearly as talented not nearly as good as people make them out to be every single year. So I have a question for both of you hall of famers. Do you have any idea how hard this is on me a lifelong cowboy fan to be living here in Los Angeles to have to look at Eric Dickerson wearing dodger top Tommy. LASORDA JERSEY. Because they just won the world series last night and I'm still having to put up with this man across remain because his Lebron led Lakers won the championship the Kovic Championship. Cubic zirconiums championship, but it is championship. You and I have to live with it and the rams are starting to look like they got a shot. I'm talking to the Ram Vassar here there are looking pretty good. They laid an egg up in San Francisco but they looked really good against the bears on Monday night. And now I have to live with the team that is historically inexplicably all time bad I have never. Mr. Dickerson seen anything like this in all my years of covering all the sports never have I seen it this bad for a team that most prognosticators really liked consensus pick to win the NFC east, maybe a fifth or sixth choice among the oddsmakers to win the super. Bowl. I, thought it was a pretty talented team I said ten wins. You said maybe nine you gave them maybe nine. They don't even compete. It started with the opening drive on opening Sunday night at so-fi against your rams. Mr Ambassador they just took the ball and drove it right down Dallas's throat and we're up seven and nothing, and then here we went Atlanta's comes to Jerry World they're up twenty to nothing after a quarter twenty, nine to tin at halftime at Seattle my team is down thirty two fifteen. In, the third quarter then here come the browns who were on and off. They were still struggling hit miss their up forty one to fourteen. In the third quarter. The giants while Jack was still afloat still upright still healthy and the offensive line was still relatively healthy. They trailed the giants seventeen to three early in the second quarter before Andy Dalton finally stole that one back for them and then. Arizona a Monday night football game you just quit you just roll over and play dead and then you go play your archrival in Washington and you quit from the outset you don't even compete. You're done after a quarter of that game on that run by Antonio Gibson, twelve yards he just danced into the end zone. Even if it were a flag football, they wouldn't have taken his flag if we could see that we're seeing right now. So Eric, I, get what you say about the offensive line, but that's right now it's decimated now they got. No shot maybe Andy Dalton maybe been NUCCI, the seventh round rookie at quarterback. Okay. Phillies going to win this game forty three. But when I look back, they never responded to the two new coaches, the head coach or the defensive coordinator. The two mikes dropped the Mike's I've said from the start it just didn't work somehow this team need against both of them rejected all the teaching and coaching on both sides of the ball because this is all time bad worst defense maybe in the history of pro football and the offense is running away with turnovers. Lead the League by foreign turnovers in turnover margin because they've taken it away twice. That's the worst what what's going to happen. You're going to get blown out every game and it has to go back to the coaches because I still see a lot of talent community showed that forty. Tony will give from half. Do have a lot of talent and you and you're right about man. But let's go back to Mike McCarthy remember Aaron Rodgers and Rogers and they didn't get along Dan. You see why I mean Mike Nolan Defense. I mean, it is horrible. I mean, one thing is in players that when you're on the field, you know what's going on sometimes, coaches won't listen I'm serious coaches won't look like. Chatting you know man out here in the battle we know what's going we we know what a work we know what they're looking at. They call him the made the forty even want us I mean the cowboys right now when you when you saw the players handbook, these coaches have unprepared. They don't know what they're doing. You know that's a bad sign when you losing. Everything. Is magnified when you winning I. Say this all the time you win if you came in through a bunch of trash on the floor and the cowboys right now with seventy. Everybody would be like man business how we went we just a bunch of guys having a good time. But when you want what they one in four when you wanted more I mean. Do they to Doing five and five and nobody cares I mean well, I take that back they care about the cob because the other cowboy expect more out of them. But right now this team is just. Not. They're not a unit then they're not a good fit for you got. You Got Stars over here. You Got Stars over there. You got you don't have that and I said this before we went in I know Janet you're not. You're not a big backpack I just think that's the best thing for the Kapor but when you loss dad You lost everything I mean he's I saw it coming I mean when you lost your your your leave your quarterback, the guys they respond to like that hit they put on Andy if that would have been backdated, hit up the whole team.

"Let's go. The cowboys have fallen from NFC East favorites to start the year to now football focus saying that they might not win more than one more game. This season join five. They have seen a large number of injuries this season and may even be down third string quarterback this week. Says analyst Eric Dickerson joining us now Eric First of all you look great Congrat- two of the dodgers. But I gotta ask you about the cowboys. What's the biggest reason for their collapse? Well. I think the biggest reasons offensive line I mean, I think a lot of people don't put a lot of stock into an office last night the on a football you pick the the the guys outside quarterback and the receivers makeup football team. You start with. Land Line for the Dallas cowboys and been decimated I. Mean I think they're playing with his third third backups to the right tap was gone the center retired Another thing is you don't have any. Ota. You have no preseason. You don't get a chance to know your head coaching killing hip coach and get a chance to know you know the offense. Is just a lot of problems over that right now. But the main thing really is offense I mean and people ask me all man how Ziegler Ziegler bad now. It's not Zeke I've been in that same situation. You don't have the guys up front I don't care how great you are how you out fast you are those guys on blocking. You can't run people have a tendency to get those are pros on the other side of that ball also so they're the stock you but that's why for me when I had office of line without always bound you, I mean I think that's important. One. Making I was most definitely gonNA give it to. Lineup I really believe that. Is Lines. Are they collapse brought into the high. It's too many excuses. The I mean Look Nobody had Ota's nobody had many camps everybody had abbreviated training camps. Nobody had preseason games basically everything zoom meetings and walk through. This is no excuse and you look at the defense. Okay. Ha Ha Clinton digs will the big citing us get loved that signing he couldn't be making it out of training camp decide Everson Griffen he's being traded already. Why is that? They've bucked the system they said what? What you're trying to impose upon us Mike Nolan. It does not work and he said, okay, you're gone. You're gone. Okay. Dante. Airport I haven't seen John. Terry on the field and at least two to three games, and if it is for one snap, Jerem McCoy got hurt. So all of the big names that they sign didn't. Pan Out and their defense is awful and we keep blaming we blame to regard remember last year it was all about Jason Gary Walters. Eight Jason Gear he came motivate. Somebody told we Jason Gary could motivate a ball out of a shoe? So. Now they got rid of Jason Kerr they got rid of Chris Russo. They got rid of. Rodman Nellie they bring in a May may have told me Mike McCarthy. May. He made a Roger. They got say that they won the super bowl together a decade decade ago off, they got Mike McCarthy May. Now, look if every single year eighty, we go through this, the cowboys are supposed to do this and we evaluate. Them, but look at talent eighty you been around too. Jalen Ramsey's troubled Jaguars tenure ends with blockbuster trade to Rams

"Terms of Jalen Ramsey will talk about this he finally got what he wanted the end result the disgruntled corner headed to the Los Angeles Rams the Jaguars finally relented and Ramsey to the west coast for first round draft picks two of the one in twenty twenty one in two thousand twenty one also a fourth rounder in the two thousand twenty one draft here's a statement for Jaguars executive VP. Tom Coughlin given the situation with Jalen we made this decision based on what we thought is in the best interest of the Jacksonville Jaguars for this season and well into the future we feel the trade that we struck with the rams gives us great value for the next two drafts and remain confident that our team today will compete this season for a division title Jalen Wasser Productive Flair but the time came to move on and we wish him and his family the best in Los A- Angela here's head coach Doug marrone obviously I had a good relationship with him and we were working together to get them healthy on the field and that that's what my focus was so he can get on the field and help us you know win football games and now you know how concentrating on on the players gotta here and and getting our guys focused on on on Cincinnati I think in his league nothing ever really surprises me anymore you know especially from the business side of things I found out like everybody else did last night you know lately point Dave came in and told me Rams reporter Lindsey theory joins us from L. A. and Lindsey listen there's been a lot of coming and going and all Ryder roster changes what's the general reaction to all of the news from the rams this week Wendy for a team that's three and three and in the mid of a three game losing streak certainly renewed buzz and energy at the team facility this morning now I am told the Jalen Ramsey is in route to Los Angeles and he's expected here later this afternoon or the rams do expect that he will pass his physical and I am told that he could be on the field for them as soon as Sunday against the Falcons now this would be viewed as a move where the rams are going all in once again to try to make a repeat super bowl run but I am told the Rams really believe that this is a move for their long-term future keep to leave and Marcus Peters or playing the season on expiring contracts Ramsey has another season left and the rams do intend to sign him to a long term engine now as you mentioned he's not the only new face here at the facility today Kenny Young Austin Corbett also were here they have passed their physicals though remains to be seen if they will be at practice later this afternoon and one more note Wendy Safety John Johnson is headed to injured reserve because of shoulder injury. Lindsey thank you it was a rare blockbuster trade a few weeks now before the trading deadline Ramsey joined a small handful of veteran players traded for multiple first round picks in the last third two years or so Khalil Mack and Jay Cutler garnered big offers from the bears the dolphins move two first rounders for Ricky Williams and it too big halls to get Herschel Walker an Eric Dickerson listen we can go back to the jags but since June Ramsey is moving onto the rams let's start with what he means for the La Rams Right now we'll Wade Phillips now gets a play defense the way he wants to Wakefield's really wants to play in your face on the line of scrimmage with the defensive line pressure and then in your face on the live with men cover corners. He hasn't been able to do that to be honest with you with Marcus Peters Marcus Peters is not not played good man to man coverage needs a better zone corner so now wade having Jalen gets the opportunity to get back to Colin defense the way he wants to do it I'll be really interested to see if they use Jalen the way we want I bill belichick thrill reverse where you put him on the team's best number two receiver and then everybody else gets to get double teams opposing for the opposing offense but it makes their defense significantly best Champ Bailey the dion sanders I mean the great quarters you can do that lock him up and then roll the other side I think you'll see that the other thing that was curious for me was that Tom Coughlin mentioned that Jaguars were better this year and going forward I think maybe either that was miss written or because they're not speak they're not better by getting a great player out of there so I miss quotes tim so expe- Joe Joe Listen you were you were spot on Jalen Ramsey never changed his stance which is what you asserted from the get-go and I would assume just finally came to a point where it just made no sense to have him on a roster when he wasn't going to win this transaction happened yesterday the first thing came to my mind is how often the people I was always talking to that this was going to work out for Jalen Ramsey like there was no fretting I didn't hear any fear and now that this is resolved itself in the way that it has it kind of plays into the tone that I've been hearing all along now I was talking to a source obviously familiar with Jalen Ramsey. They said that he's excited considering this a fresh start to be with the rams I think one of the questions that I had in talking to ram source last night was why not hold onto Marcus Peters to have opposite Jalen Ramsey in terms of making this movie now one thing that the ram source said to me is that it looked like it was clear that less need did not want to pay marcus. Peters beyond this year he's eligible unrestrained the free agency next year and it was better just to rip off quote unquote the band-aid now so then it becomes well who is opposite Jalen Ramsey for this game against the Atlanta Falcons they mentioned that two thousand seventeen when cal Roby Coleman I came to the teen that he did fill in for a keep to Leon outside first and second down and then on Nichols would have him excuse me on third down having a nickel or sometimes have troy hill on the outside and then have an RC in the middle so expect something like that or combination of that against the Falcons either way Julio Jones saw the rams problems in the short turn no because the opposite of the ball is atrocious right now and that's been there issue as far as being a front now what I will say is it does play into them getting better though like we can focus on golfing what this offense has been doing but with the guy like Jalen Ramsey not only does he hell Aaron Donald give him a maybe a half a second more to get to the quarterback he also may be able to steal a possession to for you and this ninety four was out there so air down gets another piece on the back end that can help him hold off quarterbacks for a second for him to get there and that's that's really all I can think about so maybe you

Andrew Luck's Retirement Highlights the NFL's Growing Problem

"Know what it wasn't long ago. I think it was last week when two weeks ago when mclovin said hey how about this poll question is andrew lock more likely to be an slight disappointment or hall of famer and this is when the ankle injury came. I remember it was the calf and then the owner robert say said i think it's an ankle and then i started to think there's more involved in this. There's more to this story. Sorry ben just glynn from the calf to a high ankle. I don't even i still don't know what he has but we know it serious enough that he announced his retirement and everybody's got an opinion on this. His decision to retire was a shock to the system for you know the the entire n._f._l. Nation when people say boy oy this is the most shocking football story we've ever heard i mean like new. No no no no how about we start with o._j. Simpson michael vick aaron hernandez. Those are shocking stories. Andrew looks different cat all right he is. He went back to college to get his degree. He could have left after his junior year. He went back to get his degree in architectural design. I believe he there are guys who are or football players and then there guys who play football most our football players j._j. Watt is a football player. Should he still be playing football. No no not at all but it andrew luck is a guy who is a guy who was good at playing football. I don't know if he's a a football guy and there's a difference in that but that doesn't mean he wasn't good at it or didn't love it. I just think that we're we're so unfamiliar. Oh you're with an athlete who uses logic where you go. What are you doing. Most football players in pauley had the analogy. Let's say you have a rock rock in your shoe. Most football players will continue to play in fact. Stop down on the rock. Where is andrew luck goes. How about. I just take the rock in my shoe. I mean it sounds logical. He just took the rock out of a shoe. Football players will tie the shoe differently like they'll somehow find a way. Hey i'll walk differently who care i'll take madison. Shoot me up. Whatever andrew lucked just said. I'm gonna take the the pebble <music> out. He's removing football from his life. Everybody has an opinion on this and when he started rattle off the list of injuries it makes a lot of sense but it's hard for us to imagine and by the way athletes are just commodities. We've moved on from all of these athletes. We don't care really don't care eric. Dickerson joined us in los angeles when we were out there and here's one of the great running backs of all time any looked great. I said the kind you look like you could give me a couple of carries. He said people don't realize the toll that this takes on goes. I slept in a reclining chair for two years because i had neck and back injuries. Nobody cares about eric dickerson's injuries. Nobody cared about jim. Mcmahon's injury his health. He thought about killing himself. We move on and andrew luck realizes that and yes he got paid paid and the reason for people to be upset and how do you do this to your team. And how do you quit on your team. I understand those emotions. I really do but i have to look at this and say andrew. Luck did what andrew luck thought he needed to do. Is it inexcusable to you know oh colts fans. Yeah i get that. I don't think he's saying boy. Watch what i'm gonna do. I'm going to set up the colts for failure now. I don't think i think that he had to process this. It took a long time. It's something you do you do well. It's your identity and maybe he doesn't want that is his identity and can you get away from this. You know the guys who had all the surgeries. I'm seeing all of this stuff here. Everybody's saying how do you do. I understand all of those emotions. Russians here but andrew lock did what andrew lucked thought he needed to do. If barry sanders was a quarterback and he walked away we would have abba bigger issue with what barry sanders did at age thirty-one calvin johnson at aged thirty. Jim brown age thirty. What are you doing walking away from the sport. Guess you've got a contract extension. There are a lot of questions. I have ranted you luck in this situation. When did you really know and when did you let the cold snow and what is the reason. Is there more surgery down. The road like you went through shoulder. You had and i put some of this on the colts by the way ryan grigson in particular the former g._m. What did i say for years. You have this investment. It's like having this unbelievable engine but then you have a car that's falling apart. You traded for trent richardson. You didn't use any lyman you finally went out and got quinton nelson and what happened. Andrew luck had the best season of his career. He had the fewest sacks. It's not something that takes a whole lot of thought. Hey how about we have a good offensive line. Chances are andrew. Luck might be able to play play a little bit longer but so many injuries and then you start to get down on yourself and you get in your head and you don't wanna go through it and and i look i couldn't play the game. I've told you if you ever watched a game on the sidelines. You never let your kids play. It is violent. It's more violent than you think because when you hear it you can close your eyes on the sidelines just listen. There's no way you go yep. I want to play play. I know we're macho. I know we all wanna play through pain. I did stupid things with my knee and my shoulder waited thirty five the years to get my torn rotator and i'm not even a pro athlete. I have an artificial knee because i was stupid when i played this guys out there and they're taking shots at him. He's getting hit lacerated kidney. He's got shoulder. He's got yeah. I understand all of these injuries. Do we want him out there. Yes because it's about us he. What are you doing to my fantasy team. Hey what you doing to my colds. You're you guys got a chance to. I understand hold loose things but this is something that we don't understand an athlete who says i'm gonna take a logical approach. He's a guy he's got a flip phone. He's got a book club. I mean he he's not your normal guy. Hi and we can't understand this. He's newly married. We can't understand this because all of us would go. I killed a play and make that kind of money and be a starting starting quite yes. This story is about us in how we perceive. This people didn't play wanna tell you they would play or how oh you need to play or. What's wrong with your your soft. You gotta take a step back and andrew luck. Doing i see all of this twitter chatter. Oh this is going to stay with him forever. I is very sanders. A quitter calvin johnson a quitter. Is jim brown a quitter right i. I haven't heard that i'd never heard somebody say. Jim brown's a quitter. Barry sanders quit walked down on the <hes> the lines how can you do. I guess andrew luck is a quitter but i'm guessing will move past this calvin johnson. Is he a quitter or see smart. I don't know i just i saw this reaction this vitriol that andrew luck how dare you do for this. He walked away from his team. I get i get it. He gave up on a sport. He excels at but no matter what people say. I think we can all agree. Andrew luck was outstanding when he did play and wishing luck and no pun intended with his life after football.

"And that's what bell doesn't have as far as it doesn't look like guys come back. Tidy come back. We. Tony thousand Eric Dickerson bat moved to the Cowboys when the NFC east after taking care of the buck Sunday Prescott did just enough for Dallas going for a touchdown running for another meanwhile on Saturday. Lamar Jackson threw for two hundred and four yards for the first for over two hundred yards for the first time in the ravens dominant win over the chargers. I'm since Lamar that was dominant says Lamar was named a starter. Both quarterbacks at one five games, but are doing so in completely different styles with the mar- dominating the ground game and Dag doing it through an officiant Aerotech. This is fascinating in terms of which of these two quarterbacks. Do you trust the most headed into the postseason, and it's fascinating. Because one Baltimore is only going to ask Lamar Jackson to do what he can do the would occasionally butt lead that running game. I don't think it'll be enough though in the postseason. That's why I would choose Dak Prescott. Even though I believe he's very limited in the passing game. And even though I think Dallas sometimes ask him to do more than he can do. They're going to put him in harm's way. But eventually you're going to have to make some throws in this Lee. And I just think right now Dax Moore quipped do it than Lamar. I don't think so was in those elements went to the chargers game fully confident because my co host told me ODA rain's gonna get stopped yard charges. Our sitting there with that kind of arrogance. Oh from play one even boy. Hey, ravers look better than the charges. I was like, I know then I was I dig on wake up and realize they're playing a real team. The more Jackson has grown in confidence with his arm. He didn't have I didn't see one errant throw. I saw good incompletions saw balls hitting guys in chess so fast, they dropped it or defenders defenders make tremendous play. But in terms of. Of incompletions and bathrobes he's grown and confidence to pacits that's more for him to underplay charts more for him, and he has a live arm. There's going to be a problem in these playoffs with that defense the way that they control the running game and time of possession and a quarterback who starting to believe that I can throw the ball. He can fling it with the best of. I mean, he could fling it now is it going to be accurate all the time playoff football. We're going to stop the run into tech plan b football yet to be seeing. But in terms of him being one dimensional that was today's news. This do out there and beat the chargers and he beat them because he was a capable quarterback. Even in a positive was incredible. Deepens was incredible. I mean, look which Prescott for sure I mean that could never had. He's only been with threes had never had a losing losing season. She's been there. And I we with you sometime as Dr do too much at that position. But I think he does not he knows that position better. I think he's more of a season quarterback in both. These guys are still really young. I mean, he's in his first year. Lamar Jackson in his first year. And Ozzie Newsome said I told you this before he liked him. When I asked him at the hall of fame. I said tell me about Lamar Jackson. Do you think he can plan NFL you're going to he's going to be like a shotgun quarterback? He said he can play in the national. But he said it's going to take some time. And I don't think he thought it would happen this year, but he is here right now. But still if I wanted to take I would have to take that Prescott. Well, I think the most dangerous one is Lamar Jackson. I mean, just watching him. He's electric and take off. You can go nine yards vs down his own part of the field. But I trust more. It's that Prescott Dak Prescott. He doesn't turn the ball over needed as Lamar. But I think that running game with Zico Elliott. I think that that it kinda saves Dak where he doesn't have to do too much at times the game that they won yesterday..

"Fifty-seven reacting to Eric Dickerson, pending a letter to Roger Goodell demorris Smith, David Baker of the pro football hall of fame saying hall of famers will boycott future enshrinement ceremonies if they are not compensated with healthcare after their careers. With a yearly salary based on league revenue. Chris Edwards tweets in health and disability insurance absolutely salary. Why is the NFL on the hook for poor financial planning of its past president future players? You only argument I see for past players who went bankrupt due to health and disability issues. I think that's what most of the centers around is the idea that players before put in the same sort of work when it comes to playing building. And being a part of the NFL that so successful now, but weren't is compensated financially as players are in this day and age by any percentage by any metric and the health and safety ramifications were just as much if not more then when health and safety wasn't as much of a priority wasn't studied as well. And so these guys coming to looking collect on that doing it in a way that I think undermines their cause a bit personal last Michael junior here on ESPN radio and the ESPN app. Let's go to Ron in Los Angeles quickly. Ron L A you're on first. And last what's going on? So I'll I'll listen. Player of all for everything you say, my thing is what you're saying. Is you kinda made it a day rice Eric Dickerson and at the top of the segment. Kurt warner. Nj rice kept drilling the point about what Jerry Rice bed Jay Wright for Eric. Not a Kurt Warner versus Kurt Warner nj white versus Eric Dickerson. I mean, it was Kurt Warner Jerry Rice and a number of other former players like I'm pretty sure my dad. Mike Golic senior who you're going to hear on Golic and wingo coming up had a pretty strong reaction to this as well. Which is the same across the board for a lot of these guys. So everyone knows it's not Jerry Rice versus Eric Dickerson. And I said the names Jerry Rice and Kurt Warner being. I won't say aligned against this. But at the same time, speaking out not the same message as Eric Dickerson. Sorta undermines the cause right away and a lot of this. No, everyone knows it sounded Jerry Rice versus Eric Dickerson thing. But it's a lot of people apparently looking at Eric Dickerson like we weren't consulted in the way that your reporting with this some sort of hall of famers board that seemed to be what both Kurt Warner and Jerry Rice, we're disputing was that they were a part of some hall of famers board or that they weren't somehow board for health insurance. And all this for all players, not just a hall of famous now right now time for straight talk. Brought to you by straight talk wireless. Best phones. Best networks, no contracts. We'll get back to that. But we also had an interesting develop development taking place yesterday. In O'Connor, ESPN, senior writer got a book a book chronicling the New England Patriots of all things that we heard a lot about New England this off season a lot of things going on behind closed doors there and a lot of them. You know, Seth wicker sham wrote that great piece a year ago about a lot of the things going on behind closed doors, and Ian O'Connor sort of expanded upon one of the things that became the main subject the main storyline through the offseason, which was the friction between Tom Brady and Bill Belichick would seem to be Oduh. But we get a little further explanations. He joined Scott van pelt last night on sports center. I think the first thing Scott, it's remarkable. It took seventeen eighteen years for any fracture to come into public view. Right. It's a testament to them really that it didn't happen for so long. But once Belichick drafted Garoppolo in two thousand fourteen and said that night he cited Tom's aids and contract status and said I'd rather be earlier than late at this position. It made it inevitable, and it happened last year are very onset wicker sham did a masterful job. Aided portraying the escalating tension between those two it came down to garoppolos presence and also seventeen eighteen years of being coats in an unforgiving way by Belichick war Brady down. And then, of course, the way ballot check marginalized, Alex Guerrero, his business partner in life coach, and it all sort of came together to represent a last draw. I was told by a number of sources that as late as late March. Brady wasn't sure he was gonna play again for ballot. Check first and last Michael junior here on ESPN radio and the ESPN app, and that was the source of a lot of the controversy surrounding this patriots offseason. And I'll always go back to it makes an overwhelming amount of sense, right? If you look at any great company any great business any great tandem. How're whatever you wanna look anything that successful eventually. Feeds enough of the human ego because we all want to feel validated. We all want credit for what we believe. We're doing. That's one of the most interesting things about Golden State to me is Golden State. We hear about all this. Well, you know, you have no idea what's going on behind closed doors here. We don't know what it looks like. But we're sold on the outside this selfless brand of basketball, a guy like Kevin Durant coming over and agreeing to play for less and do all these things in order for the team to have success. And we wonder all right. What takes down Golden State and I- posited this yesterday when I was doing sportscenter on Snapchat, which is could just personal greed could those very human emotions just play into this. After a while. I don't feel like I'm getting enough credit for the thing that we're doing well. And that was to me always something that made just a human level of sense, Tom Brady and Bill Belichick, which is at some point. Both of these guys are considered maybe the greatest to do their specific job in the NFL. And yet we always have this. Conversation is Brady a product of ballot. Check system. Bella check couldn't do it in Cleveland without Tom Brady before round and round. We go not understanding that these things are kind of symbiotic at the end of the day. Now one thing that maybe a vote for the favor of the relationship going all the way back to the beginning was Bella checks preference to Tom Brady early on in their careers together. Bella chick never really believed all that much in Bledsoe. And I know from talking to people around him back then now they didn't want him to get hurt. Certainly it wasn't as if the coaching staff and people in the front office were rooting for anything like that. But they were trying to get Tom Brady under center without offending. And creating a real problem with the owner who just gave a hundred million dollars to Drew Bledsoe. As the franchise player new stadium in the making. And that was the franchise player in the face of the New England Patriots. But they really liked Brady when he got a chance to play and Bill felt that there was something there that Brady had that it factor. He was not. Going to go away from that. When Bledsoe got healthy. According to the article on ESPN dot com Brady started worrying for his job almost immediately after ballot. Check cited his age and contract status and the coaches own desire to be early rather than late to that position. When they drafted Garoppolo in two thousand and fourteen even more interesting. How about this a quote from Tom? Brady's sister Brady and Bella Jacob been reduced to a staredown. It didn't surprise those in the quarterbacks camp. According to the book felt like ballot. Check would push him out to berry. Brady sister said, quote, Bella check will definitely do to him someday. What the colts did debate manning? "The boycott future enshrinement ceremonies if they are not compensated with healthcare after their careers. With a yearly salary based on league revenue. Chris Edwards tweets in health and disability insurance absolutely salary. Why is the NFL on the hook for poor financial planning of its past president future players? The only argument I see for past players who went bankrupt due to health and disability issues. I think that's what most of the centers around is the idea that players before put in the same sort of work when it comes to playing building. Football Hall of Famers threaten boycott over health coverage

"Allnight Antonio Brown wasn't on hand with the Steelers Monday. Could we see a hall of fame ceremony with fellow hall of famers absent from there is a group of all of that's demanding health insurance coverage and a share of NFL revenues or the former players will boycott the induction ceremonies. Eric Dickerson is leaving the group. He chatted with our Bob Leon outside the lines. The guys deserve this. I mean, we play the most dangerous sport. It is in sports. Pro football, and they deserve it. This way overdue when you go to the hall of fame, and you see the guy can't hardly get around. And they'd have no health care. A lot them have Medicare, Medicaid, the you know, that that's fine. But there's no hill Q, and it should be healthcare. I mean, major league baseball has it. They have a great pension plan. But we don't. Major league baseball. If you play one day and major league baseball, you know, you have health care for the rest of your life. He play forty three days and you had to play for three days. You get thirty thousand for the rest of your life ten years, you get two hundred thousand rescue not even close to that. I gotta say I won't forget, my my good friend deacon Jones when he said to me, Sarah, how much I said, well, I have like forty one I said, I'll probably get like twelve hundred dollars. So you know, what I get? I got two hundred dollars two hundred fifty dollars a month. He said, what am I gonna do with two hundred fifty dollars a month? I think the perception is that all NFL players are rich, and we haven't made, and that's just so far from the truth at your letter is addressed to the head of the hall of fame. David Baker also the Roger Goodell who's the head of the football establishment on that side. And certainly we know about the billions

"On Monday, we could possibly see group of hall of famers absent from the hall of fame ceremonies. There is a group of pro football hall of famers demanding health care health insurance, and a of NFL revenues or those former players will boycott the induction ceremonies. Eric Dickerson leading the group of Twenty-one hall of fame members. Although there have been some questions to the players whose names are on the letter to the league say they're not part of the boycott effort, Jerry Rice and Kurt Warner both coming out and saying that they support the healthcare initiative, but they have no intention of boycotting the hall of fame
