"Question, isn't it? That was some gamble Mark. Do you know he's got me scratching my head? He finished the tongue tie went back on, didn't it? But he finished sir weekly. He just looks like he's got a physical issue to me, but he wasn't backed as though they had any concerns over that sort of thing, was he? He was four to one the night before and he's gone off 7 to four. He traveled really well. And literally found zero. Off the bridle. And that rings a lamb bells to me. That makes me really worried. I think that's probably the worst of all worlds for me to see a horse travel well and finish weekly. It tends to suggest a physical hole in them. From my experience. That's my thinking. Because he was traveling so powerfully, and he makes that mistake at the third last, but Rachel is able to get him back into contention, like she is able to get him back on the bridle. And then suddenly the petrol tanks empty. There's nothing there. And look, I'd love to see him bounce back. And if anybody can do it, it's Henry du bromhead. But I think he's gone. I think you're brave taking any sort of price for NHL. Even that even with that mistake, that's a poor one. 18 over 19 links he's beaten in the end. By home by the way. And it's a fair role distance between himself and flooring border. So I can't, I don't see it with him right now. I just don't. I would love to see him come back. But he would need to be a very big price wherever he's going next. And he if he's in your tracker, probably best to just take him out for now. Let him run, see if they can, if they can get him back, push. You couldn't back him with any, any semblance of confidence. They cleared he felt he was back. The money, the poured in from in a grade one, to go from four to 7 to four, and take some doing. And yet, he's thrashed nearly 19 links. I think he's gone. Very briefly, we saw a massively impressive winner of the handicapper maxim for Gordon Elliot Gordon had 17 horses in this race. Slice exaggeration. It was 15. But yeah, a ridiculous amount of runners in the race. And he is torn them to pieces, including his stable companion Eric bloodaxe who was a good winner, the time before, would you go pretend with the amount of the weight that they're going to lump on them or would you try them in an open year? Would you put them into the stairs or? Oh. He was wildly impressive, wasn't he? Now, it never pulling a cart, basically. The handicap has pumped him up 17 pounds for that. And he's been even more impressive in this much deeper race it doesn't have a whole heap to find to become a stay as hurdle, contender. He's probably the only on that performance. He's probably only 5 or 6 pounds behind a home by the Lee as a potentially going to improve even further. So

"I really fancy him to ever see my industry miles right up his street and I think he loves the ground as well. It'll be on the slow side and he'll be he's a monster of ours. I actually wrote he won a great deal of nav and there a few months back when Jamie Carr got the spare right and very similar ground on the day when he beat Eric bloodaxe. And I wrote in the race for garden and I not forget to pay us, we went that day on background. And I thought that was a monster performance that day I was a real top class performance. I think this comes into his own under pressure. If you watch any of these races whenever he's come under a bit of pressure. You know, he's I have no doubt that he would have put it up to search error in the body more, but he might just not have beaten them. But you want to run in the race, you can win. So I think Jane taught today is the one is the one real big. Fancy today. Real big fancy. I think he's in the top of his game, now coming in here. But again, it's not straightforward. Henry Daly's horse is a very nice horse. He'll crest and I think Willie's got one in there with a chance as well. But no, I think of how the snail in my mask colors to the mask today, I'd probably nearly say a gin toner and galvin and mount either tree today that could in order to change the week for garden Ellis. And speaking of changing the week, hasn't exactly been the best of weeks for Joseph O'Brien, and he has gone there with horses who were some horses were very big prices, but he's gone there with chances in bitter who's very well fancies. And they haven't just been beaten. They've been fairly hammered. That being said, Eric bloodaxe, who you mentioned. He was thumped by jindal, but over three miles at cheltenham could that change things for him? I can't see him. I don't think he stays three miles to be on a Saturday products. He doesn't do it for me. Obviously it potentially go hard, but he doesn't see a tree well enough for me. There's one thing seeing old tree mile and Ireland are only about trying to see how tree might around here in an Alberta. It's just not going to it takes a heart of real time, you know, it's a real test. And I couldn't see it now. I'd be I'd be very I'd be very, very hopeful of gentle. Don't do business today. Okay, so jinto and mount Ida are standouts today. That being said, there is another horse that needs to be mentioned in the blue ribbon. And that is galvin, who has become favorite. Not a favorite on the machine, but he is favorite with sportsbooks. Kaluki have called him to threes this morning with the runner up from last year, a plutarch. In fact, it's changed in front of my screen again, unbelievable. Calvin is 72, 5 to two. How did that happen? With Manila indo, drifting out the way that he is. Clearly is a very strong Sarah cheltenham festival winner and has been put away since his victory over plutarch at Christmas. How is he today? I think he's I think he's got a huge chance there obviously because he has such good track form. He's the only thing in my head with galvan is like that I can't get out of my head that he's a top class handicapper. Does the difference and I just felt the right person made the difference in this I was chairs. He got probably one of the best rides of the season to win the servers. However, in saying that I didn't think a plus tire was at his best there. And he probably will be better today, but I think the conditions are different this year. And there were 12 months ago. "Quite as bad. Ivan was well for the game out and finished seconds a chance. Freedom to dream has been 7 and a half lengths and finished. Fourth, in the Nathaniel lacy. So clearly he didn't run his race on that occasion. If he would have done maybe in the world, been around. If you've taken a literal form line, you'd have been around hollow games there about. Yeah. He's got a bit of fun. But I wouldn't be surprised if he bounced back and ran some sort of race. It's also a race that's gone to battle hardened horses who haven't necessarily looked as though they had the form to win it. How many people were putting up in the window back in 2019? Kill brick and storm. Already said that thing that move on in certain years that are a classier type in the race and things. Obviously factor that in as well. Yeah. So who are you going for, Paul? I pretty much can care with almost everything that Rory said about June's own hillcrest. Likewise, I was concerned about you and so in the earlier mod that he wouldn't have to tackle base for something like saguaro animal, whatever was rerouted that race now we know that is to get hard. And as soon as I had that Manila crew was out last weekend, I did wonder if for midway through the last week I did wonder if June saw will be switched and I again will be one who's being campaigned and that he should be going up to three miles. So again, I'm very much in his camp. I don't think he looks the classiest horse in the race. Again, he'll cross them a huge fan of them and I've been on track for three years. Four rooms this season all four of his 5 runs even, so and he's a gorgeous horse to look at. I was there to hate up and the ground was bad. And he said, that's a real gallop. And he looked to be able to maintain that gallop for three miles I thought was pretty cool. But they can say that maybe that, again, I've been in the back of my mind and possibly at the heart race just four weeks before the festival. Again, I think connections were taken at sea is considered an a seriously entry on the set. The novel, which possibly would there be in the ideal route to go, but I think the temptation of as soon as Manila crew came out, you've got to join favor for the race. I think the temptation was there to commit and take the chance. So I just think I'll just add a gentle again myself, there's nothing he's at the nicer preparation into it. People always raise well money. He kind of reminds me a little bit of bob's worth and what he's done earlier in the season and then stepped up with it being good enough that I'm sure it's a course of themselves well in the valley mode on June so whether they'll likewise but I think it would be tough to be here. We're all on agreement gentle wins and to largy just had to throw in the grenade to try and rise me up a bit, Eric bloodaxe. He's no bloody good. We'll see. I fear some Friday. Everyone mother forgotten about his old company. Everybody will have forgotten about Eric bloodaxe when he finishes a tailed off down the back of the field, don't worry, but now jinto, for the three of us, we're all in agreement. The boodles, cheltenham gold cup, will be all be in agreement here. A plutarch. Obviously his favorite. By the way, I should say that Katie young off Mike on stage said to me, I turned to her and said, please tell me that gento is going to go for the ballet more and she went. I'd much prefer him in the other broad. I'd much prefer him over three months. I hope that's where we go. And then that's exactly where they ended up going. So that's direction disabled. There you go. Maybe that'll help you. Right, the goal, a plutarch, 72 favorite, last year's runner up galvin. Has actually, this is happening. Right before my eyes, the market has changed. Galvin is now a favorite with kaluki. 130. A plutarch 72 second favorite for last year's runner up last year's winner is 5 million though, then protectorate. 7s, album photo, dual winner 8s, conflated is 12 and the king George winner tornado flyer is tens. Rory, your thoughts on the gold cup..

"The bunch of town festival. In a bumper, he was second to jinto over a shorter distance, but more importantly, he won the race at limerick, the dorms pride that has been quite informative over the years as pointed out in polls excellent book. So 20s about Eric bloodaxe is way too big in my view. And I think he's better than he showed last time out. I'd forgive him that. But jinto is the main pick for me. I'd say the biggest issue that fabric blood acts is that there's no bloody goose. Rory delarge. A little bit of controversy into the proceedings there. And when Eric bloodaxe takes the oxygen to and downs them all, this will be played on a loop. He doesn't have any good form. And his entire career really don't say, bumper runs a bumper runs. And it's really hard to make a case for anyone who is actually done on the trial. Well, he was second to jindo. I know he was buried by him. It was very bad. That's the thing. What would he have thought of him gone for one of the handicaps? Oh jeez. One 40 series off. They're more interesting than they can with my hand. But doesn't that tell you that what they think of them that they're going to run them in a great way? To win one of the handicaps. Absolutely. I want to say this form was.

"Or two of the outsiders crack on early and then have them one of the glory and I think he will come to the end of the major player. I'm not anti hill crest at all. I think he'll cross a lot of people who actually should be competitive here. He did have a pretty tough race in the prestige of hater glow. That would be a slight concern for me. Although in saying that I remember having the same discussion with people about whether in D.C. breeze could come through a real slog and not rest to win this a few years, there was a massive fan of the D.C. three's real estate what happened to him. And he was absolutely fine and completely different growing and he made all the running when he won this race. So I'm not one of those who says that you can't be back in hill best because he's one too close to the festival and you're trying to be Brian's very testing. Last night. I'm not looking for halls and him at all. I think he's a smashing horse. I think he's been in danger of the Ginger. I just been beaten down a little bit for him to run in this race and over the doors. It would be rude of me not to select him. So that's where I am. To quote Gordon Elliott, if he's good enough, if we think he's good enough to win the ballet more, then he should win the Alba part. So given the reason that he may have had a tough experience at hey Doc, I've completely switched to gentle. And in hindsight, it might be a difficult task to beat cigarette. In the belly more, so I think this is probably the right race for him and it clicks and makes sense. I will throw one in a wild price. Eric bloodaxe has been completely discarded. By punters, on the basis of one poor run and he fits an awful lot, he Joseph rhyme was on this show when he was a bumper horse, he thought an awful lot of them. They had a few issues with them. They got them back. He's run behind kill crott in the at.

"Chance. And I'm not going to desert him. That's for sure. No, I wouldn't even. As I alluded to earlier on, I'll cry if gentle ends up here. And God. I think there's a forgotten horse in Eric bloodaxe. I think if he rocks up, like that performance at the Dublin racing festival can't have been wrong. It just can't have been. And jinto buried him over a trip that suits jinto. Earlier in the season. So if he turns up being intrigued from an E trade perspective, but the more I look at this race, the one horse that I was afraid of was Manila crooner. He's not unfortunately he's out. I don't think that then means that you just automatically plugged into it here. But look, if they decide to do that, what can you do? It's anti post bedding. If you pay your money, you take a chance. But hillcrest has 5 starts over hurdles. All right, he came down pretty early at Shelton in a very, very unlucky incident. Hampered by far, there's nothing you could do. But you do need to be traditionally in this race. You need to be battle Ardent. Plenty of experience. And he's got all of that. And he's bred to stay. So absolutely. I love him. I think he might be one of the most solid. Bets. He should be shorter. He should be a lot shorter. Yeah, I think he's actually on that subject. You know, we've got so many changed over the years, hasn't it with a number of short price horses at the festival, hasn't it? If you look at the record of we're going to get quite a few short prices and not going to win. Yeah. And you can look at the status on that..

"Vanilla crooner for second. Because that knocked the stuffing out of him. And he drops to second last. And manages to just stay on and stay on. And it was the way he managed to ride him as well in that he did get everything else in this race got flat on it. But he was he showed this fantastic he was in cruise control. And then that mistake happens, and Jack didn't panic, he just let him ease himself back in 2016. He's very good at. Yeah. Is he very good at getting a horse balanced? And when they're balanced, they will run fast for you. So you've nailed it there. He's so collected and calm in terms of what he does is after a mistake he was able to get the horse going again. And then as the horse is nicely balanced, begins to stretch out. And that's what he did and he wrote a lovely finish and when people again are watching the replays, watch Jack Kennedy's head, watches us and just watch the momentum that he's getting through the perfect balance with the horse that's driving the horse forward. And at one stage in the last 50 to 75, right Jesus, I wouldn't be surprised if he picked up again. And closed down cocoon or even more. And that's why he's a good jockey. He's got savage balance savage hands and horses run very quickly for him. And even though that horse made a mistake, and a bad one and as you said, dropped out to be second last was beaten then two and a half lens or whatever in the end, very good ride, very good horse, very good trainer. I think I've made my point. I completely agree with you in a race where there was a lot of bubbles burst like hollow games. I don't think he's completely damaged his reputation, and it could just be that the two mile 6 didn't suit Bosch as a test might be more in keeping for him. But Eric bloodaxe was a horse that I held a very high regard and thought would be the potential race winner. That's too bad to be true and Joseph and Joseph ends up having a winner on the day and his horses are in good form. So it can't have been right. The performance of Henry source grand jury 31 and a half lengths ends up getting beaten, that wasn't good. There's another bubble that's been burst in that horse was sent off a 130 joint second favorite with the crooner, but as for cocoon, every time Danny jumped because he's very keen, which is probably why he was in the first time hood. But every time Danny jumped, he jumped fluently and he would then just fill him up. And allow him to just keep on going and he just dictated every inch of this race from start to finish. It was a tremendous piece of writing and who knows what would have happened if the mistake didn't come and Jack comes along. Who knows if cocoon would have found more hard to say, but what I do know is it's too smart horses. Johnny was exceptional. I thought Jack was exceptional. It's a mistake. Look, you can't blame anybody for that. In terms of where they go at cheltenham, it's definitely the potato race for crooner. The runner up as for Manila cocoon, there seems to be a kind of counter balance here in that Danny said, oh ballymore would be ideal. And Willie seems to have been quoted twice, once in. No, he can go up and trip. You can go for the potato race. But at the same time, he's also quoted as saying, I don't see any need to go up and trip. So, William, it's bingo again, folks. For those who are wondering cocoon or for the potato race is currently, why is gentle favorite for that race? He's not going to go. That's just my opinion. It's just my opinion. Man, you can get tense, but he's generally varies between 5s and tens. In and around there, but everybody seems to be latching onto the fact that Darren has sent the goons round. He's sent out the team to get as many bets on as possible because he's been hammered, sea of blue, 5 to one second favorite, the best you can get is 7s. And I think 7 is pretty fair for the potato. It's only very, very fair. And the amount of novice hurdle talent that mister Gordon Elliott and Willie Mullins have is embarrassingly strong and we'll talk more about that as we move on to the racing TV 12 Europe per month this weekend only spring juvenile hurdle. Does that mean you've missed out the opportunity of getting it? Maybe it's still there. The bone. Was very highly touted and as a friend of mine who was driving up to the meeting. I have to say, I spent the meeting in the stands. It was lovely to meet so many final foreign podcast listeners, particularly as great to have so many Irish listeners come up. But particularly those of you who've made the journey over from the UK to come over and say hello and get a photograph, lovely to meet so many of you, the lads got a bit fed up with acting as security for me, but anyway, they had a great day. And we spent it in we spent it on the stands for most of the afternoon and I'll explain that why a little bit later on. But I was expecting a show here from Phil doer, but the word had been out of it for Bond and he'd been very well back for the triumphant during the week. I know he was very well backed in the lead up anti post for this race, but he drifted significantly in the bedding. And goes off 9 to four, having been favored in the morning. They swapped field or goes off very strongly back 6 to 5. And the one thing for pied piper fans is they can say, well, the form has been franked, but Dennis was on the show, Dennis rig on the show on Thursday, previewing it. He's not entirely convinced that that form is worth the whole bunch from cheltenham. He questions the strength of the English opposition for one thing any question the way that race was run. But the barn has produced a sensational performance, he went and listed company on the flash in France. I think he did. Yeah. And rich Richie has got hold of him, and rich Richie looks to have, a potential star in his hands. He doesn't have nice moles as well from what I could see. Television. It takes a lot to craft something like that. So fair play the ridge. That's brave. Where'd that come from, by the way? No idea. But he kind of does tight himself has been a bit like crazy or whatever. So like fair fair play don't know the man who never met the man, but gentlemen. Nice gentleman, love in the hair, you know, you got to tip your hat to that. I think everything that you've said there is correct MS and quite happy that I saw the winner of the triumphant in that race. I'd be comfortable enough that the winner was in the race, but it's not verbal. And it's not filled or.

"Games, you know, he's been for me. He looked a bit labored or something at NASA. I wasn't quite sure, but he's working very well, apparently at the moment. And I think the ground trip and track are all symptoms and I think he'll be bind there at the finish anyway. It's just whether one or the other ones are good enough to beat him as the thing really. He's a class horse. Hollow games and he's he seems to be getting better as the season is going on anywhere. He's a little bit he has beaten with his grand jury behind him. The last in just the front of the last day by inequity, I think, I think he reversed that farm on Saturday to be honest. Do you think I know as a jockey, you're not necessarily thinking from the betting perspective because you can't. But when you're looking at the market and there is that the fact that grand jury finished in front of all the games last time, when he's twos and grand jury is 6s, I can see why people are going to look and I'm particularly drawn to Eric below X to be honest about it. But I can see why people will want to take on hollow games. But at the same time, he does come with a very big reputation and a hefty price tag. He does what I wouldn't look as at the core later day, like he's price tag wouldn't really care about. And it's the reality of the evidence of what he's shown so far. That how good he is. I just heard a nice gentle got to make the run and then he got he got the race to suit himself. And hello games was kind of down the inside and teams were very tight for him. And I'd say there might ride harder games slightly different, maybe on Saturday. I don't know, but I would say that that's what that's what might happen. And I think grand jury will be forward as well. Two of them won't be far away from each other. And it might be set up for a closer, you know, but when you have Dave, you're also Rachel black more writing my favorite in the second favorite and the great one, you can be short or not going to go too fast and set it up for anyone that's behind really, but I really love the way crooner has been going along this season. I loved his second in leopard time at Christmas when he finished the lent and a half in front of the cross, and he was only three lens behind journey with me and I think he is and I was standing there as our journey with me. So I think Mila crooner is the one for me that could be a little bit dangerous in that race there. He definitely has a good bit to find, but, you know, if that happened either of the first two, I think this will be bang on the premise, especially if it turns into a real stamina sapping test. He was very, very impressive the last day. I know he was an odds on favorite, but yeah, so is he going to be your selection? Yeah, I am going to go with Mila Kruger on this occasion anyway. Only just because I think he's an improving the rest of the drawer all this is and they're all probably improving. But I could see Manila crooner being in the first two. That makes any sense. Be foster second, I think. And that's how I get to be honest, I think, is a nice arson. He's coming along nicely and he's 6 and he's just he's gone from a good camp there and garden Elliot and Gordon's horses are being in trajectory for him and yeah, I think he's a nice one that he'll be 5 and a half, 6 to one dairy and a good price. Yeah. This is the kind of scumbag each way that we talk about every now and again. It's the dead age. Hit up kaluki now and take advantage of the 6s. Eric bloodaxe for me so you can do the reverse forecast, but definitely you want to be listening to Dennis. The one 35 is the spring juvenile hurdle. This is going to be fascinating because in the buildups this I thought that Phil door was going to be an art own favor. Anything but the price with kaluki is 11 to 8, then we have the highly tailored var bond of butcher that pronunciation, but stick with me French pronunciations. Somehow I managed to blind an a in honors French, but as you know my actual age because we're both the same age then that was a long time ago. It's gone. So he's 11 to 8 joint favorites. Then we've got Alan the ty turns is tens Ben Seagal 16s and it's whatever price you want basically about the rest 6 feet apart. Of course, we saw winning on talksport two. Which we covered just last Friday. What's your take? Because Phil doer has definitely been the powerhouse this season. But Gordon then unleashed pied piper at cheltenham last Saturday. So now he's currently the antipodes favorite for gentlemen. But if Phil daw wins this, presumably he'll regain his position at the top of the market. Yeah, I think for Laura, when this, I think he's I think he's a very good horse. He's a big gallop or again. He's another artist that's improving throughout the season. Love to see that. Horses, you know, they just keep getting better and better with each run. And he's certainly one that has definitely been doing that. And I fancy him to turn over a bond because he's only got the one run. And I car Allen has been good, but not all too impressive. I think file door will win this myself to be honest. And I quite like a hearse of nor meter called Ben Siegel. I actually sat in and during the week and I think he's in terrific for one very well and punches down for us to know. And whereas I don't think he'd be up to beat in the winter beating the favors. You know, he left and he certainly run a big race anyway. He's 14 to one there. I think he'll run a good race, but I can't see beyond Phil nor to be honest, and I think you win to try it. Oh, because that was going to be my follow up question. So you think he is the one to be on for the triumph? Oh, I think we're able to show he's the one to be on. A third party piper was good and the weekend was I thought it went very fast in the race when the ground was not as soft or maybe it was dead ground but there were definitely children's thoughts to form to the race and I think the man on board took his time and brought a cleverness and he would have warned no matter what sport probably was more impressive due to the fact that they've gone too quick and start. He can through lords of class. They could bold goal for the triumph, I don't know. But for me, I'd stick with file door just because he's a typical trans you've known that, again, he's trained him from marriage. And he steadily improving throughout the season. I think he would be better on softer ground. And he has yet to encounter that this season, which is annoying because I think once he gets a bit of softer ground, he's going to be even a much, much better hars than he is right now. And so yes, I would fancy him strongly for the rest. He's a very good horse. Because just to clarify the soft ground that leopardstown on saint Stephen's day, there was a lot of complaints from Willie Mullins and from Gordon about the ground conditions and leopards. And I've heard those complaints and taken action. It wasn't as soft.

"Your partner Louise is very heavily involved with leopardstown, but has to sit it out this year due to maternity leave for goodness sakes Louise. The least you can do is just turn up. She's missing it there. I think she's missing, but I'm sure she's still have an import of some sort. I mean, at the moment, yeah, they do a fantastic job in leprosy. We had a massive entrance to the competition, so well done to our winners with leopard sound who we teamed up with yet again to give tickets away to the D or F weekend passes or up for grabs and the winners are James Dillon at noon of the day, column Dooley and we also had neve who has handed the tickets very generously to her father Jim, so congratulations to the three of you. Leopard stone will be in touch with you. Come up say hello. We'll be there on the Saturday and Sunday as well. Looking forward to it. Before we talk about the races, ground is going to be crucial because Simon holt was saying on the weekend review about how dry it is in the UK, not the case in Ireland. The official going right now is yielding on both courses and they've watered throughout the week as well. A 160 millimeters was applied throughout January they were saying, what are you expecting as you build up to the festival yourself? Yeah, I think the ground is going to be perfect. I mean, they do an extremely good job and lapras time. Look, I suppose going back over the years, I can remember writing years ago and that was something where it was could nearly be called off, you know, it was that west. And they've done immense work since to have it right. And especially, especially the last couple of years the last four years with Dublin race investment has been a very difficult time due to the exchange and the kind of the seasons, you know, and they've been unlocking it rain or whatever. But I think t-shirts are going to be fantastic, to give an eel and ground. Expect it to be you into south and the harder track. And I expect it to be even maybe this afternoon in places on the gear track. And you know, if they have come in for a bit of criticism, more beers, but I think this year is going to be absolutely fantastic. I've actually met a few of the ground's groundsman up there and the head management on underground system and everything up there and I've walked the track plenty times and you know I just think they're doing a fantastic job. They're doing the best of what they got and I expect it to be no different this weekend. Dennis, what's leopardstown like to ride and more specifically, what kind of horse would you be advising fungal for a podcast listeners to be looking out for? Because there's that deceptively steep incline. To the finish, which has resulted in so many epic finishes throughout the years. But until you're actually add leopard stone and you see it for yourself. It kind of has to be seen to be believed. So what kind of force really thrives around there? Yeah, look, I think leopard town is one of the best tracks in the world, really, it's one of the fairest tracks you very rarely see in unlucky or the older shouldn't win. It's usually the best hours wins and the reason for that is it's got such a steep climb from the turn in to the finish line. It's very deceptive in terms of watching on telly. You wouldn't really notice. But if you were when you're riding at even if you walk to track, you can really see that the climb is quite significant. And you know you'll fairly know what if you're on a horse and you send in your own well turn it in, but you still have an awful long way to go one of the key one of the key factors I think to write an episode is certainly conservatives which energy you can to at least halfway up the running or halfway up the stretch. Should I say you know what these kind of getting their glasses of that kind of ride really would usually the best horse wins you need a good heart to really operate him as a real member someone to be honest, jumping and stamina and galloping and all of that really, really does come into play at that time. What we're going to see all of that in the first race that we talk about the one of 5, which will be live on RTE, but also on racing TV. We have market. The markets have been a bit bonkers today, but hollow games is currently 15 to 8 with kaluki. I think they'll do better for you on what's up. And then what do you want? Fours, grand jury is 11.2 million crooners 6s, bronze 6s, Eric bloodaxe, 6s, and here's where you kind of have to be careful with your bets. There's Manila crooner, and Manila cocoon. Not confusing at all. 12 and it's 33s about freedom to dream. This is a really fascinating race a couple of exposed sources in here, Braun being won, but hollow games we saw behind gentle last time. Eric bloodaxe, I thought was deadly limerick, but it was on very different ground. That being said, I like him an awful lot. What's your thoughts on the race? Yeah, I like Harry Potter as well. I think he's an improving sort of actually. And if Louis is 7 year old, he's got some terrific bomber farm. And as well as some very, very good murder runs and I think Joseph O'Brien's house is just really hitting farm as well. They're really top form at the moment and I think he's definitely a horse with a big show there. Hollow games, you know, he's been for me. He looked a bit labored or something at NASA. I wasn't quite sure, but.

"Am I going to offer that price? No, because I know people will want to buy from a shorter prices. So why it's supply and demand? It's not a case of betting the prices you think they should be. It's about betting the prices that people will back them with you out. And there's no point for them of yourself to offer over the old Sunday post because you're only going to lay a limited number of horses anyway according to demand. And you don't really want to have a massive liability for no reason. And in the previous podcast, we talked about Henry's form over Christmas. And of course, it wasn't particularly good, really, aside from one or two. And he is one of the two managed to actually get into the winters and closure along with unveil on watchers cross and whoever the other horses that I can't quite remember. But it is alarming when you go back and look through it and I did it after we recorded yesterday. The links that some of the resources were beaten. The distances that they would be. And I'm not talking about 66 to one shots. I'm talking about horses that were fancied in the market. Or at least were fancy beforehand and drifted slightly and were absolutely thumped. So that could be playing it as well. People are going, oh, well, Henry sources aren't running well. Yet this fella did this how much better could it be? But that might also just speak to how bad the race was. So again, it's ipso facto. Anyway, there you go. There's gento and journey with me and I'll my money is all over gento. And I'm a big fan of phase. And to defend Paul niggles, not sending horses, cheltenham coordinate didn't send either gentle nor hollow games to the shot and festival. And both would have been and both were very highly talked up by Jamie Carr as bomber performers. And as potential children performers, but the decision was made not to go. Eric bloodaxe, speaking of exciting bumper horses, I remember Joseph O'Brien telling me on this very show, this was a worse to be with, and he beat forny hollow. And those who kept the faith, final for a long podcast policy. Did very, very well, as the hammer Hamilton guided him to success. So he's gone to limerick in one by 7 and a half lengths. Obviously, backing up the gentle form. How impressed were you with him Darren and is he all about staying? Is it all about the potato race for him long term? Didn't review the race now, to be honest. Roy, deluded..

"Your over brave man's game. I just makes me even more excited for the condo star no this is Chase. That's going to be a cracking race. Because you know brave lens game is going to be favorite. Yeah, until all that northern money starts coming in from and then. That Ned Stark money starts to start rolling in. Not all. Links. Links start getting stuck in. Far out delay. So I'm a massive vanilli fan and thought he was absolutely brilliant in the potential race. And his down royal form has already been franked in the dream more last week. And of course, he's won his second start of offenses. Antarctic lane is the horse who beat vanilli limerick last year. And he got into the winters and closure for Gordon, as part of his 7. Beating blue Sari. So he looks like a chaser. Most of the gigant horses, that's exactly what they're built for everything and again, they have a juvenile hurdler in their midst, but it looks as though chasing is going to be the name of the game with him. He's beaten blue sorry. And in the end, did he do it comfortably enough for you? Yeah. Look closer. I really fancy him for I think a fancy name for the champion bumper a couple of years ago. He run really well and I think did he finish second in the champion bumper blue serum? Didn't he nearly beat envoy? Nearly London, didn't he? Is it yeah? So yeah, look, obviously garden had a great day. He couldn't do anything wrong. Don't know whether he. Spoke to any cheltenham prices or what, but look, it looked like it was only doing enough on me. He was just pretty serious in front and obviously blue Sari was at the switch and he was nearly getting there. But he was all well and I always liked blue sorry, so I think probably it was a good performance without being anything or excited about. It's important to point Gordon is adamant he needs not just soft. He needs it heavy. Yeah, that's the thing yet. It's like all this farm has been on heavy ground in this. Yeah. So he's mentioned limerick, which is the chase getting another mention. By the way, a big problem is that when the ballet, the potential race, the one of the. Massive, I've heard of the a from the point to point circuit. And I remember being told he was a stone cold, solid moral for limerick. And even though he was beaten, I remember thinking that horses are going to win a nice race. I didn't expect him to bolt up in the potato race, but I'll hold my hands up and say, yeah, it was on him. It was fantastic. Amazing stuff. But it's a horse that's been won by some good horses over the years. Black Hercules, ha ha ha, yeah, I know Patrick completely screwed me over that year. Jesus Christ. Owners of the new don't know oh crap. For those who don't know, Patrick insisted that I not say what the race was. He would tell me, but I had to bleep it out, which I did. So I kept my word. He said that he'd been told by Graham Wally. He was his right in the former. Then, yes, when he won over a shorter trip by panicked and backed him for the RSA. And, of course, he ends up rocking up on the jlt. So I had to I'd say I might have got my steak back by backing him at the jlt. But I was definitely operating at a loss. But not Patrick's fault. You place your you place your you put your own money down and you're responsible for your own money. Yeah, the only person who's responsible for the money that you place in the bet is you yourself. Gento. So the grade two Navin is another for Gordon Elliot, Jamie cart, the aforementioned. He was well backed beforehand. He's beaten Eric bloodaxe. Trashed him by 11 links. Prior to that, he won quite comfortably only seasonally appearance. He's not even beating the once, and that was a fairy house. And from memory didn't he cast or write fuke with his bike walk in the park? 400 and something, was it? A right few quid? You gotta fucking fortune. 470,000 pounds of the queen's finest sovereigns at the and it was trained by Garner. When he won his party, wasn't he? I think he was, yeah. I think he was. So the yard former yard sponsors, northern television, who obviously are still there. In the art, they have gone and invested more. And bought more. But this does look to be because this is one of the unique things about Gordon, according to a point of moisture as well. And Jamie was on board that day. So he would have known because there have been instances where Gordon train point to pointers who then ended up with Willie. Yeah, but were owned by Michael and eddy. So they could have ended up with him. But in the country the most good gray horse of any romance..
