"So what did you say david. There's something there eric. Aaron rodgers made his career. I mean through him downs. It gave him a career. And may and i'm gonna snatch your soul and let people know you ain't that guy you don't take blame. I mean listen. This is an off season where people i. I'm not gonna guys get up almost every morning. I was exhausted. Hearing about aaron rodgers. Somebody else in the world is beat upside your head so long and now. The story is a little bit different. He struggled and we're not used to seeing that so now the reaction is going to be is because of the off season and the selfishness and all this stuff so interesting Drew michael finley definitely not hold back so let let's analyze the to specific things he said first of all the idea about not having the same work ethic that he used to aaron acknowledge he contemplated retiring during this off season. He acknowledged that he has found pleasure in all sorts of other things found joy in his life. He didn't see before he's in a relationship now jeopardy as you pointed out like does that one player sort of glimpses his own professional mortality like that. Is it easy to turn the page back. Yeah i mean. I don't know i can't climb into. Aaron rodgers is head. But i feel like it's all going to be kind of results dependent for us. Because if he came out and throwing six touchdowns we would said that. His glimpse at mortality is recharged him. And this off season right is. He's on a prince knows. I'm just saying this was one game if he had this game this week in had a four week one. We won't be saying these things i think. This is part of the overreaction. But the michael finley like that speaks to me more than anything else because that's scares me for this team because when you have relationships interpersonal relationships with people you build up some type of goodwill when it's a positive relationship and that can carry you through some bad times. Would it sounds like to me. You're michael. He's not the first one of aaron rodgers former teammates that come out and say negative things about him so that makes me fear that if this season goes back they go into they go three. He doesn't have the goodwill amongst his teammates and suggested that things can go back quickly with the with the way team interacts with each other. What do you think came jamaica. Finley mentioned the work ethic over the last few years. Guys the rainy. Mvp what what's the issue with the work ethic it. I understand this particular off season. But what about last year. He looked just fine to us. When we're talking about all these. The whole offseason drama was mentioned teammates. The longer this solid drags on and rogers is gonna come back teammates. Could they potentially get frustrated with having to answer these questions. He did show up but aaron spent offseason away from this team and when he did come back he had a whole list as long as this rundown of and i have with you and this is what i don't like you. So keep did all that to do that. We we all accepted. And we're fine with it except now you need to show up. You need to play like that list of grievances. It was so pro player that had to go over well in the locker because what he was doing is hauling out organization and standing up for guys. Who are there and guys who weren't there in the past. Like that to me speaks to aaron rodgers having a good relationship with his but then the michael finley stuff like that is more concerning than anything else. Look there's nothing more tested and tried and true. Then all of the labor getting together and being upset with the management. It works that works practically everything david. I'll give you the final word. What what is your expert. They played detroit on monday night. The lions terrible first-half much better second half last week. What is your expectation for where this goes from here..

"Greg Matte sick Well, the Brewers enjoy a portion of their day off in Cleveland. A three game series with the Indians begins Friday night. Milwaukee owns a 12 game division lead over the red for first place in the N L Central and trailed the Giants by four games in the win column for the best record in the National League. It's been a really nice stretch for us. We're just finishing up a 16 game. Stretch with no off days, which this time of year is pretty challenging and taxing on a group and to come out of that. With a good run and increase the lead in the division. We're certainly pleased with how we're playing. Spurs baseball president of operations David Stern's on the injury Front. Stearns expected infielder Willie Adama's to be on a running programme early next week. Thomas has not played since September, 4th due to a quad strain. Hackers in ST Suite one of the NFL season. Rodgers and Brees, right. Not so fast reasons. 20 Year career is over after Jamis Winston, who just two years ago led the league with over 5100 passing yards. He also had 30 interceptions. James has a big time arm and he can push the ball down the field, so I'm sure there's going to be More passes down the field, and then you don't know what to account for in terms of how much they'll play Taysom Hill at quarterback, So there's there's a lot of unknowns. Packers head coach Matt LaFleur was Darius Smith, the Packers linebacker. Once it again limited at practice today, he is questionable for Sunday's game in Jacksonville, and quarterbacks dominate the preseason jersey sales. Eric Aaron Rodgers, not in the top five. What Maybe that's because everybody already has an Aaron Rodgers jersey, But Tom Brady is in the top five again at Number three. This is why teams do the alternate uniform just to ramp up Jersey sales in the pro shop, but your top five jerseys, all quarterbacks here, Josh Allen of the Bills. Patriots rookie Mac Jones hasn't even taken a snap, and he's already had a Brady who's number three bears rookie quarterback Justin Fields, who is not even going to start week. One and peace quarterback Patrick Mahomes. There you go. Thank you, sir. 3 48. He is Will Smith's right hand guy he's at summer fest DJ Jazzy Jeff on Wisconsin's afternoon news. Next on.

"A beautiful or origin. Greg gory with the trending news headlines. The biden administration issued an extension for the eviction ban that expired on july thirty first extending the ban on rental evictions for sixty days. Not all addictions. These are targeted to specific areas of the country where corona virus cases a rapidly increasing and are likely increasing. Mass evictions according to the cdc so like everything else. This is complicated. So the targeted eviction ban now runs through october. Third covers close to ninety percent of american renters. The cdc says that forty four point one million renters are behind on rent and that nine point nine percent have zero confidence that they're gonna make next month's rent my at all so the eviction ban protects renters from getting kicked out of their home. If the renter has tried to get governmental assistance for rent has earned no more than ninety nine grand in twenty twenty is unable to pay the full rent because of loss of income or medical expenses if an eviction would result in homelessness. And if the renter lives in a county holdup up and has a high rate of coveted infection. Say again like evictions would result in homelessness legally. Yeah but i mean. Couldn't you also say like well. If i got a victim i could go live with rayvey so i wouldn't be homeland. You wouldn't say that you would watch your free rent actually so deal. They bills right. That's the thing there's no word on anything about mortgage assistance and shockingly. There's never any relief for property taxes. Those gotta get. Yeah right. i mean that's investor in a building and the government like rents out half the building and they stop paying rent the government then the government also They said yeah We don't have to pay back. 'cause we're the government so okay yellow but i do a lot of these rent relief programs. The money goes to the landlord. That's young so that a little bit. And i also know somebody that did get some relief It covered eighty percent of it and it did go directly to the owners of the building. We'll look i think if you're the person who is owed the money i mean you'll take Eighty cents on the dollar. Sure she definitely my guy. I was reading an article Over the last couple of days. I i'll find you the link but It was talking about how this whole thing has really kind of got people to think differently about their finances I would hope it didn't really. They're talking about every economic level. Even people who are making you know Just above minimum wage like they're finding different earnings to even if it's just be able to save a couple bucks a month but like they're now thinking about how i can save as opposed to do. I really need this exactly. Yeah yeah because. Like i remember my grandma. She had like all these like used with like the frozen orange juice comes in those like cardboard to -tainer courses donald duck orange juice or whatever. Yeah like she had like bags of those. And i was like grandma. Why do you keep these And it was like this this thing from like the depression calendar for containers cups or whatever because like you needed those things in that kind of stuck with her and people have heard generation that that was just her particular thing but She would stockpile things like shampoo and everything else because you never know what was going to happen so like this has gotten people to think differently about their finances and you really need to have both streaming services can you absolutely says maybe have one and take even if it's that you know ten fifteen bucks a month and put it put it away or I don't know it's it's interesting. The fact that this is going to have on our company debt snowball. That's right people are finally thinking about it. Good there's an update to the frontier airlines duct. Tape story douchebag maxwell bury from norwalk. Ohio on that flight from philly to miami had a couple of drinks build one on Came out of the bathroom. Shirtless groped a couple of flight attendants yelled at his parents. Were worth two goddamn million dollars and you guys f. and sauk eventually restrained with duct tape cooled well the flight attendants who duct tape them to the seat were initially suspended and they were relieved of flying pending the investigation so the update is that the union that represents them they criticized frontiers knee jerk reaction to the video that was going around and the airline now supports the crew and says it will pay the crew and support them and that they have quote the utmost value respect concern and support for all their flight attendants including those who were assaulted on that flight. So good they kind of did a one eighty now as for maxwell bury he's been charged with three counts of battery which is a misdemeanor. No federal charges wondering if he was going to ever fly again looks like he probably will not frontier. I not on frontier. I wouldn't imagine but the fbi said yeah. No federal charges frontier. His parents are worth two thousand dollars. Charter something soon maxwell. This one is really bizarre. So in richmond. Virginia there's this online vlogger who goes by the name. Sony chew real name chris. Weston chandler now transgender so she is christine weston chandler a comic character in those online cartoon world game blog things so audio got leaked from this online conversation where christine confessed to having regular sex with her dementia riddled mother right. So at first she said this was incest fan fiction but then said it all came true that her mom made the first move and then it took a few tries to get it right and then said that they had sex. Get right yeah to get it right then said that they had sex every third night of the week but that they had an open relationship and that god said it was okay and that happened because you know she was very very horny. This was excused. So she's been arrested for one count of incest and your mom had sex or is it just kind of like playing now. It's just like whatever. Yeah well you know. She and her mom actually hitting both have previous arrests. The mom hit a game stop manager with her car. Ten years ago and kristine spray the game. Stop worker with mace son. Right and that's why christine shaming world as this character named sony. Show okay so strange also. There's some speculation that the new permanent host of jeopardy is going to be. The show's executive producer. Mike richards did you watch him guest. He's jeopardy in and out now he does. He said to be an advanced negotiations with sony pictures to take over as the host. He only had joined the production team. Last year. apparently impressed sony with his guest hosting In february so sony hasn't commented they're only saying that they are in talks with a bunch of potential candidates lia jennings and they're not gonna talk any other details make sense. The guide knows the game really well. Also it's going to be a fraction of the cost to hire a guy like that that it would be like an aaron rodgers or somebody who's known are already famous. You know miam- bialokur eric. Aaron rodgers was not good. I mean he was charming. Good host with any level of actual of fame beyond you know like ken jennings. He'd also be probably cheaper get just because he was actor. Yeah i don't know how much How much was the ostra beck making it a ballpark quote dumb for forty two days of work a year shedding forty two days. 'cause they do they take five day right. They were three weeks of the month. Eighteen right so they're going to be able to pay this guy. Eighteen thousand that's how corporate mathworks. He'll be happy. The price is right. Let's make a deal. Wants to be a millionaire. And i like to think big game show.

"Turns 31 Today After a one for 19 start to the season, J. B J carries an eight game hitting streak into tonight's contest against the Padres. Given the injury situation, Bradley's opportunities should be regular. They're down three guys now yell. It's went on the Isle of the other day and joining long in case so they're playing shorthanded now. By a lot three starting players and they need some other guys to step up. And, yeah, you hate to lose any game in which a guy hits multiple homer, there was beat writer Tom 100 court. Milwaukee has outscored opponents 17 to 1 of the first inning so far this season. May not see a lot of runs tonight, however, Jill must Grove is on the mound to and one of the 10.47 E. R. A This season. Brandon Woodruff will go for the crew coverage begins at eight o'clock on Wtmj. Before back to back games against the 76 years later this week, the Bucks will entertain the Phoenix Suns tonight. Phoenix currently owned the second best record in all of the MBA. The Bucks are currently in third position in the East. That's okay with GM John Horst. I think that to be in the third spot in the East right now to be 14 games over 500 to have a a top five offensive top six defense top foreign debt rating overall. We're in a really good spot. Including tonight The box had just 16 games remaining in the regular season schedule here tonight's game on 94 5, ESPN with coverage beginning at 6 30. Then there were two veteran quarterback Alex Smith announces his retirement at the age of 36. Smith was the top overall draft pick in 2005. What I mean by And then there was two Can you guess Eric Aaron Rodgers and Someone else draft here, knocking on the door. Great facial hair. He's always magical for.

"Lindsay's probably the opposite where you live. Yeah i couldn't get. I couldn't get At&t over is in my apartment in marina. del rey. so i had to switch. So i'm a huge bruce springsteen fan guests and i was very surprised to see him in a commercial. I don't even remember him. In a commercial he they bought jeep. But the entire two minute break. So it was the the entire break was springsteen talking about the middle and they put him in the middle of the country somewhere in kansas. Yeah and he wrote it and it was basically a two minute ad by why we have to as a country come together. Whatever but it's the first ad. I've been springsteen fan for thirty years. He's never done at wherever and so somehow they talked him into it. Jeep talked him into it. When you figure seltzer became a big deal hard seltzer like all of a sudden all the ads. Michelob had one but had one who started the seltzer thing. I've never even had one. What is it. i'm not. I'm not into it either but i guess it's the thing because they're spending a lot of money on an heart. Seltzer is yeah. White cloth started it. And then everybody's jumping on the bandwagon because at one point one white clawlike. I came out here. Like i got popular. You cannot find it in a lotta stores because it would sell out so quickly. Hey by the way one you is stop and pause and read the read it five second ad no. I saw that it was read it. It was weird that it popped up. I thought it was almost read at hacked. The the super bowl like they all were there for. I know a lot of people did stop and look at all right. So here's here's what they were banking on. They basically stop they. They only about five seconds of time and they put up a graphic that they were hoping people would go back and read and this is the beginning of it. Said while this actually worked. If you're reading this it means our bet paid off. Big game spots are so expensive we couldn't afford to buy a full one but we were inspired and decided to spend our entire marketing budget on five seconds of airtime. One thing we learned from our communities last week is that underdogs can accomplish just about anything when they come together around a common idea. Now they're talking about the game. Stop stuff right right at you know. Basically a bunch of ready users turn the stock market on its ear so they basically did a five second. Add banking on people. I applaud them for their kind of a hail mary and lindsay. You said google it so it worked for you. It worked for me. I went back and read it. I don't think it worked for most people. I think probably worked was the mountain dew ad with all the pink bottles of mountain dew. Where you got to count the number of bottles in order to win a million dollars. I can just picture people. Freeze framing that commercial insane. Okay one two three four five six seven eight nine. I think that one probably worked a lot. I think i think the other one. But i you know in the end i think the only add for as bad as it was the one thing that i will remember more than anything else like if i go to buy milk and sometimes i like milk. I like it in my coffee. If i go to buy milk. I probably will be oatley after seeing that okay so there was one ad that worked better than that for me. Said what ad was the most effective. Like what super bowl ad or you're going to remember the most like i said i thought that gwen. Stafani adam levine. Blake shelton really smart. But it didn't work for me. Because i can't remember what it was four. I will never forget patrick. Mahomes and eric. Aaron rodgers sitting in those director chairs. Going wait a minute. Is that drake and guns. Do you see that this becomes drake from state farm and the guy plays jake from state. Farm walks up to him and goes. It's jake he goes. No it's drake yet. They somehow got drake to stand in for jake state farm. Yeah that's good creative. That's funny or hey what about you. What commercial did you was the one that i was going to bring up the drake. Standings don't have lines Jorges sent a picture of that homemade savitri. Yeah yeah we made this a kilo and beer nice. Yeah he of the spread. What did you have ireland. Dra mom in the house right. Yeah my mom was over. And so i'll let my mom my mom's coming over and i said i i don't know why but it hit me is right before the game and it hit me you know. I haven't had a covid test. Since the last time. I saw my mom which was a couple of ago. You're doing the same thing. Matiur kinda steinway from your mom. Yeah completely and i went There's a covid testing place. Literally two minutes from my house i went. I'm going to go online. If there. If i can get an appointment and i looked like i did this at three o'clock and it said three fifteen available so you got cova test wore masks. When my mom arrived by three thirty they gave me my result that i was negative. And if you ever want to do. When i walked into that place. I was the only one in it. If you ever want to get anything done that has a line normally do it right before or during the so sure. Nobody's going to do it right before the right. But i didn't think of it until then. Yup i should play the safe. I don't wanna get my mom's sick. I'm gonna go get this knocked out and i went and got it done. What kind of spread did you have there in cleveland. Well i i just went over my sister's house and she made a lot of food that i can't imagine -tarian some things called like south southwest rolls or something like some south thing and then just didn't eat now. I'm i made some pretzels with cheese. Now they know all food parental beer cheese dip. Yeah and spinach and artichoke. Dip to you know what. I ate. Everything granddaddy purple. Og made a visit. And i was hungry or everything after you lost the coin. Flip bet to me. I thought that the granddaddy purple g show up was so invested in that coin flip and lindsay claimed that there was a fifty five percent chance that was going to be tales. Which i don't really believe it was. I said it was weighted fifty one percent towards town. Hey mace if. I'm playing the role of pete carroll. I would respond to you with that. Means there's a forty five percent chance it won't be tales. Yeah yeah so mythical money. I think you took a bath. You won a thousand dollars in method money. One hundred one thousand. I lost seven thousand. I'm sorry six thousand which puts me at eighty seven thousand so i'm down and then lindsay sow lost to k and she is at one hundred thousand even so she's back to a very brief lead if i i should i should claim. What are we on february. Eighth should claim victory. I retire for mythical money. Is the winner. Well the weird thing is. There's not much you can. You can't bet on basketball. Yeah bet on all year long. I'm going to be. It's going to be challenging for me to call us. So i can bet on the golf tournaments. I can bet on baseball. I'll come up with stuff to be. Yeah i can come bets coming up next for you clinton. Yates is going to join us. He came into the game a gigantic weekend fan. Is he still a weekend fan. That is next for you. Mason ireland seven. Espn what's up..

"He's 28 20 through his 1st 48 games. Polly's sent it a couple times this morning. He's like he's got the same record is Eric Aaron Rodgers into Shawn Watson? I go. Okay. Do you want to sign up Mitchell? True, risky for the next five years, pulling I don't. But I don't know what else to do because otherwise they have like Mr Whiskey's probably a B minus as a quarterback if you look at the league, and that's probably being nice, but he's throws more. Touchdowns and picks. He wins more games and he loses and has a bears fan. I don't know if he's the problem, but it's a weird choice because they're not getting anyone high in the draft. So it's a weird situation. Do you want to sign him up for five years? Can I get him for like three years? 60 million Is there? Is there any middle Baylor? It doesn't feel like there's middle ground and it feels like the next quarter back up, and then he gets paid, You know, 35 million in the club. Do you really want him for three years? 60 million. That means you can't jump into this huge free agent class this year. I like what Travis Keys done because he's you know, he's been kicked to the curb a couple of times here, and they're playing pretty well. And I give him credit because you know when you get knocked down, that's when you find out about these quarterbacks like I want to see what's next for Carson Wentz. And Adam Schefter had a report that Carson wants isn't happy being a backup, okay? Would have been shocked if he said You know what? I kind of dig in the back of thing, man. I'm getting paid 30 million. I don't get hit. I get to carry a clipboard. This is great. Of course, he's not happy now. I don't like that. The information got out that he's not happy because he doesn't want to be a backup quarterback. I wouldn't want a quarterback like Carson Wentz, who said I'm okay with being a back. I'm gonna be a good soldier. I know you try to be a good soldier, but deep down you're not a good soldier. It's a very selfish, you know, industry like you're out there. I get my chance. I want to prove I can play and Jalen hurts his earned the right to be the starting quarterback the rest of the year. Absolutely played really, really well. He's given them a spark. And I would I would leave him in there. Let's see, because once defense's get some tape on you, then things change. That's what I want to see with Jalen hurts, but absolutely positively. He should be the starting quarterback there. And yes, I get it. Carson Wentz has got his feelings hurt. Well, you don't want you didn't play well. And somehow Jalen hurts with the same talent that you're playing with played with is making some things happen, and they look competitive. They have life. Jalen hurts. Is your starting quarterback the rest of the season? Yeah, McLovin. If the consequences unhappy Now wait till he's wearing that bears you informally point next year. That's you. Twitter. Twitter already assigned him to the Bears on Sunday. No, I still like the Colts. But I've been saying that for about three months Mark in New York joins us. Hey, Mark, what's on your mind? Best and worst of the weekend. Hey, Dan. Happy holiday. Thank you. Mark. You too, the first time. Long time 58 solid 30 pack at £200. I got my best. Is Trey sermon Really practicing? What he preaches going off for 3 331 yards? Yep. Look good, easy Oklahoma Transfer which was kind of interesting there. What else do you have? My word is Notre Dame's lost man. They just weren't ready for that new guy that cleanse him brought in that dang boot. Bill. Lawrence guy I'm telling you, Yeah. Billy Lawrence looked pretty good for Clemson. There. Way. Got a little mock headline in there. Todd sent out. I don't know how many mock headlines about a sermon and I'll have stayed. No, but no o e filled up your text pretty good there. Yeah, You did. Yeah, you did. Do you want to do a couple of them? I have to go find them from all good and hopefully you'll find Todd's got his Christmas sports names on Wednesday. By the way, correct? Yes, yeah. Yes. John and Iowa. Hey, John, what's on your mind? John? Hey, Dan. Thanks So much for having young Happy holidays. I won't do up best the week worse the week up 6 ft and not too hard. Not too soft. 1 95. I'm starting with the worst. The fact Ohio State yet again gets a pass for a season where they put it. Five regular big 10 season games. Well, they say, Indiana was a tough team that played against full Indiana doesn't get squat, and the hypocrisy continues with Ohio State. Getting pushed through is the big 10. Hawkeye fans. So you can tell that I'm better than the best of the week would be that my wife and I are in the process of selling our house. So things are good, but the better bestest of the week would be. I'm talking to you and I have the chance to say Thank you so much for announcing about a year over year ago You had Paul in my algebra magica. My father has it. And when you announced it, we found out within a week that he had it. And he's doing great. We didn't know this disease existed anything about it? So you know, I just want to say thank you so much Awesome. That's great. Great to hear John and good luck with the move. I had no idea what PMR was Polly Mild Gramatica. All I know is Woke up one day and I felt like I had the flu, but I wouldn't nauseous. And then I realized the next day I woke up and I had the same feeling. And then the same. You know, it was ground hog day every day, but You see, it's older people who get it in older people think they're dying, and they it's just such a foreign feeling to them. But there are remedies out there not necessarily cures, but their remedies out there if you're suffering or, you know somebody who's suffering from it. Is it can be debilitating. More phone calls coming up. Always great to hear from your best and worst to the weekend will give you ours coming up and we'll dive into the college football rankings is well, one hour in the books. Two more to go on this Monday, Dan In.

"Top you would think Jordan Rodgers I'm going to do anything at least for the next couple of years and he may not even develop into a starting quarterback in the NFL who knows I mean Eric Aaron Rodgers I think by all accounts can develop the red S. fairly quickly he's he can be very grumpy when pressed farmers there they drafted Aaron Rodgers now read far was not good to Aaron Rodgers to start within his career didn't wanna mentoring me didn't want anything to do with all think about Aaron Rodgers who does not talk to his family because something happened there and he's very stubborn about it up not talking to his own family members so I imagine the conversation between Aaron Rodgers and I don't know data to Patrick last night I'm just guessing and had a few several thousand expletives in that conversation wasn't Hey you want to have sex no I don't think it's a bad idea I thought that was a stretch I thought to me that was the maybe the biggest mistake in the first round why not even a stretch but it was a telling move to Aaron Rodgers there's no other way to look at it if you're in Rogers can ask for a trade good I mean you could would you take Aaron Rodgers here in Denver in a heartbeat yes sort of the heart who wouldn't listen I'm all into drew lock but if you said a you can get there Rogers for the next two three years I want to text Aaron Intel Hey we have a place for you here that complexity last night he didn't respond but he was a little mad while a sort of meat that's what I mean tectonic dedica Patrick I don't have herself texter today you got it aha okay we'll see buddies to see what to we'll see what she thinks rod is calling us right from the top the R. news rod you're on Kaylee newsradio good morning how are you third near guy good R. at the beginning of the year Jaylen hurts he was projected to be a high draft choice whatever happened to him well he was never I I don't think Jaylin hertz was ever regarded as a first round pick I think you'll be picked tonight I think it's probably a second third round pick he's an interesting skill set I think the emergence of the more athletic quarterbacks and guys that can run a bit up in the office of change in the philosophy philosophical change that a lot of NFL teams have adopted helps Jaylen hurts no question about that so I I mean I I you know watching him I really like the kid I like his demeanor I think he's a good football player I do I don't think he's a great thrower I don't see him right now as being the starting quarterback in this league but he certainly good enough to draft hi eight and and give them a chance to develop a skill set and see what you have so I'll be surprised if dealing hurts is not drafted tonight by somebody you are it is it true that L. way does never pick anybody from Alabama it's been very true until last night yeah last night yeah I always thought that he considered those guys always burned out for the heart discipline that they've gone through over in Alabama I don't I don't know if it's the discipline more so than just the physical practices and how over the year how how next David is gone about practicing his players I think the conventional thought Rick and Kathy is that you know as I said last night there's a lot of tread off the tires of Alabama players that's that's one of the reasons I think from the Bronco standpoint that they have not picked an Alabama player since John Elway has been running the show I'm looking at the at the best quarterbacks left a J. could be sent out of Washington from Jake from other Georgia then Jaylen hurts in that mix two SO three three interesting prospects left at that position I think both eastern in Frogmore go ahead of herds so to me I see hertz mid to late third round if M. listen maybe even fourth round he's gonna get a chance with an offense that believes in that kind of skill set right sort of the the cam Newton skill set although I think Kim was a better thrower coming out of our room than the jail is that does mean to hers can't play in the NFL I just think it has to be for the right system and coaching staff the believes and that kind of skill set Jordan love last year Utah state seventeen touchdowns twenty picks but look at him the year before he lost all of his dudes last year the entire offense of line in all the receivers the year before if if he came out in the draft the year before he would have been a top ten pick yeah you had a great two thousand eighty twenty touchdowns seventeen pick sorry I gave the wrong number there but that's what scared a lot of scouts off thinking maybe he wouldn't be chosen in the first round he had a great year before but you're right he lost a lot of players around him only two returning offense of starters he's got the best arm of any quarterback drafted last night a six for almost six four twelve twenty five he can run I think he could develop I mean when you have an arm like that you could develop into a great player I'm just surprised remake took an sos emergency nine fifty six our time news coming up next on Kayla.

"Silicone wiper. Blades today only at Walmart back back to the show being joined now by a man who's a super bowl champion a man who has the talent to be a starting quarterback but has relished in the role of a backup quarterback from Missouri. where's a backwards hat chase? Dan The JAS. How's it going? What's up man? How you doing? Thanks for having me on. I'm excellent thanks for joining us. You've been doing the television rounds. Are you hinting at something right now. Chase you've been in the NFL longtime you're all over the television. Are you hinting at your future. Right now chaser. We expect you to maintain this position of being a great backup quarterback for the next ten to fifteen years or so. I would love to play for the next ten to fifteen years now. Listen I'm just I'm just trying to get my feet wet. I'm trying to be like you. You know making the jump from From football to to television so hopefully I have another five six years in in the in the League but this is definitely something that I could see myself getting into to like when I'm done okay. I do a great job Sean. ESPN I mean. Don't coffin we watch on. ESPN last week. Your are incredible. We're very thankful you joined US excited for this. The main conversation I think around you and this year the bears is the big regression of Mitchell. Trubisky in two thousand eighteen. He was like number two or number three overall. QBR The conversation going into this past season was okay. We got a defense. We got Mitchell trubisky getting comfortable on in another scheme for another another year. Here we go this going to be. The bears are all the way back. One blocked kick double donkey away from really making a run. We're back. What do you think happened to Mitchell? trubisky this last year. Was it something. Nothing like paralysis by analysis was what was the issue with Mitchell. You know if you go back and really look and I said this before if you really look at our sixteen games really played fourteen. Eighteen was hurt for two of them. the biggest thing I mean Yeah Mitch Mitch wishes. He could have made some more plays but at the end of the day. What I really think it was just the offense as a all? It wasn't clicking right like we may miss a block. We may drop a critical third down catch or we may fumble football like it just for whatever reason I don't I don't I don't know it. Just it really just didn't click on offense this year if you go back and really studied the games that we played if you take probably twenty plays In the entire season and you flip those two positive place they were negative. Plays you flip them to positive place touchdowns third down conversions. Then we might win three or four games and we're sitting here talking about the playoffs so You know the parody in the League as you know is is so slim so it's definitely tough You know in Chicago especially especially all the blame falls on the quarterback and when he does well on the team does well he gets all the glory so he understands that he wishes he would have done better. But we're we're really close. I feel like okay so this year. That's interesting to think about because the year we are two in fourteen. I talk about this all the time. There's like seven games. We could've could've won if one or two plays go the opposite direction. We're terrible football team and that we have been we could've been nine and seven ten and six if that one play goes a different way and by the way the player don't care who makes makes it what you're referring to is people dropping passes and brushes. Maybe breaking out behind the scenes though I mean because it came out that NATO trubisky to watch the game back can look at his body language the fact that that got leaked outside of the building. I have no idea how that happens. And then there's all these rumors and things that happen this is how was Mitchell behind the scenes during this year. Obviously it was very tough. It was a very tough year of bears and you said it in Chicago. How was he behind the scenes when you have success early in a coach's career like like coach Nagy did His first year right last year. And you look at to where we sort of regress this year Twelve and four to eight right. There's four Berkshire Games. I think everyone in the in the entire organization really takes its strong in hard and it's just not the way we wanted to go out and images. Actually you know very strong willed. He's very cognizant of what's being set outside but he's got a really good attitude attitude about it and guy sort of feed off that I think he was one of the main reasons. The guy's really stick stuck together and really didn't go opposite ways because I'm sure you've seen teams or you lose lose three to four or five games in a row and they just go opposite ways and really I would. I would say the big part of that was coached Nagy and Mitch and of course our defense ends leers coming together but Mitch is definitely a big part of that bringing us back together and say hey just stay the course and we sort of made a run there at the end of the year and we're one or two games away maybe from from getting into the playoffs but it just just not up to our standard okay. I agree and maybe it's going to change the way I think about Metro Bisky by the way because I do think at some points. He looked like a guy. I want to say the deer in headlights. Kind of look like that a little bit a couple situation. I'm like why is this guy what happened. Almost like he was over thinking trying to force things but let's pivot. I appreciate that insight and I will take going forward a backup. quarterbacks role is much more important that people think that's why when everybody talks about how how can call and Cabernet not be a backup quarterback back somewhere. How can Johnny Manziel backup quarterback? Tim Tebow the backup quarterback aside from bringing distractions into a place that you can't have distractions because it's already hard enough to win and a backup quarterbacks job though not only running scouting being able to make every single throwing adapt to different styles of offense the defense good look but film breakdown and helping the starting quarterback. He's a massive ordeal. I don't think enough people know about the roles of a backup quarterback aside from holding the clipboard on the sideline. Yeah I mean you sound like a backup quarterback to be honest. You got it down Pat Batman. I mean listen. I do think that it is difficult at times to be a backup quarterback and not necessarily because is your. You're playing right. You're not playing but Obviously for me like I'd love to be on the field playing but I also understand the role and I've told people this before I I. Do you think a backup. quarterbacks role is twofold one and you have to be a really good backup quarterback you have to do everything in your power to get the star ready to play the game. Whatever that is? Take your routine take your stuff throw it out the window you gotta get on the same way wavelength as the starter. You guys have to work in tandem. You guys are in there all all hours of the night watching film. You're in their early breaking down film you to have to see eye to eye and you have to help start to get ready and at the same time the second apart you have to play well when called upon and you have to be able to play at any given time I mean take take me for instance. We were in the Minnesota game and I wasn't expecting to play. I mean I you know everything was fine. Mitch gets hurt sticks. Play the game. It's a little cold. Go in a fourteen play. Drive score score touchdown and just really didn't miss a beat and I know but I'm just saying that that happens all the time and you have to be ready to play and when you get your opportunity if you WANNA stick in this league you got to play well okay. So you're a free agent. I believe if I'm reading reading the Internet correctly a place that will probably be looking for you. Somebody has a young quarterback I feel like they brought Matt Hasselbeck for Andrew Lucked to Kinda show him the ways that hey this this is how professional quarterback not Andrew wouldn't have been prepared but there's little things that when you've been around you can talk about like hey you're allowed to say this to the team. You're allowed to do this to the coach. You're allowed to demand these types of things. There's going to be a couple rookie. quarterbacks that are GONNA get some real shots coming up here in the next couple of years. What is the place that you've thought like? Hey I'd be good here. Maybe Joe Borough next year if he's at Cincinnati. Do you think that's a place you could potentially fall to or you kind of open to whatever you know. I don't really like to get into all that stuff I you know. I'll trust my agent. Get me to the best team possible. All I know is that when I got a chance to play I played pretty well and I feel the twenty five years old. I'm thirty three twenty five. I don't have a lot of mileage on my body. I feel like my arms in the best shape. It's been in and when I got chance. The last two years for the four games I felt like I moved the ball and and help. Our team wins and games so Whoever it is out there I know have a job and I'm I am? I know probably at this point. Mike Grimm not going to be signed to be a starter but I can't play if if needed and I still view myself as a starter. That's how that's how I WANNA be But we'll see Carolina Panthers. Are you going to start quarterback Carolina Panthers Jason Matt Rule. And you'd never know man college Guy Chase when you're looking at the super bowl. I'm assuming you've got a chance at least watch them games now. Since you guys didn't make the playoffs you got chance to kind of watch this all unfold Patrick Mahomes in that chief steam. Now people say they've started slow. They definitely start slow against the Texans had one three and out against the titans but they were down ten nothing. What do you think this? This patrick mahomes lead offense and Andy Reid. The enemy offense can do against niners defense that has been historically great. Yeah if you look at it. Historically right what wins championships. Running running game in a defense. So San Francisco has that however they don't have patrimony and what Patrick Mahomes can do as a quarterback is something thing I mean. I was even talk about coaches of mine the other day we have this group text and just they're all how he plays. It's it's pretty impressive. I mean when he he can really do it all he he honestly reminds me of like a super young Eric Aaron Rodgers and what he's able to move in the pocket. I mean his rise. Twenty seven yard touchdown run. Was You know I'm watching right. My my wife's from Kansas City hurled whole families from Giddy. She's candy fan so we're watching in in our house and I see him running out on the twenty seven yard touchdown run and I'm like you're not that stowed away your arranged all the way through it. All of a sudden he gives us a little head head fake and it. Just it stops the vendor industries. And then he's able to run over a guy for a touchdown me nuts championship moment right. That's sort of what Kansas the city has to have to to win against against the forty niners me and you look at the niners in and they're going to try to play ball control offense. I mean they're going to try to keep the ball for forty minutes of the game. Now you know time possession stat. I don't necessarily love it. Because Kensington he can score in a minute but it will be interesting to see in the game immediately gets a good match many levels okay. So let's talk. You said Patrick mahomes remind you of Aaron Rodgers. You've got a chance of backup drew breeze. What makes drew brees breeze? So now I don't know if he's still talk to them or not. A lot of people are wondering if he's GonNa come back next year they got teddy bridgewater down there. They have to make that decision as well. There's a lot going on with the New Orleans Saints Right now off the field. What makes drew brees sodium that he's undersized by all accounts he doesn't seem to be like this big physicals but I don't think he can throw the ball further than anybody buddy else? What makes drew brees so damned? Good I think the feel for the game and his pocket movement just the presence at he has on the field. He's been doing it for so so long and he's been at offense. Oh six so going on fourteen years and he sort of made that offense right his off that offense goes around drew and that's what's so impressive. Arrested that a lot of people are saying about me. What Teddy Bridgewater did to me? It was unbelievable that he was able to step in hit. You know first second year with the team team in to be able to do what he five. No and that offense. I'm telling you right now. That's why they really never draft rookie. QUARTERBACK's you can't understand it. It's so intense and it's so crazy So what Teddy was able to do was amazing but back to drew. I mean it's just it's impressive. I mean every year. I think he's GonNa retire or go home home and just you know he has so many other ventures outside of football but I mean the fire burns deepen him and I could see him play and on for at least another year..

"There is no other quarterback that has that many rings and but winning the servile is a team aspect. which is everything if you if you look at our team? The team aspect is everything absolutely but in the greatest of all time. And talking about quarterbacks you looking at their performances and and as we just witnessed in this game this weekend Aaron Rodgers made a throw that I can't recall ever seeing Tom Brady make and I was even like I take Eric. Aaron Rodgers is top five throws versus. Tom Brady's top-five have through his in their careers and again without actually like a critiquing each and every throw I'm willing to bet catherine Rogers has three of the banner throws over Brady. I bet he has all do be honest with you minus one I bet four of them are the top five and now agree with you on that and and performances I mean you look at the game stats status. I would say that Iran is probably has top three top four of better performances than Brady on the flip side. Brady wins in pressure games. Yes okay so Brady Winston pressure games. and and Rogers Winds Miraculous Games can definitely nil the the hell Mary. But what's I guess this is. My thing is to win a super bowl. You have to be a team and you have to play a team. I mean I look air at Aaron Rogers is he feels like that offense lies solely on his shoulders. I don't feel like he respects. Play calling I could be wrong there. And don't even look. Aaron Rodgers knows the game. That's there's no question there. There's no question that Aaron Rodgers knows the game of football but at some point in your career. You still have to be coach. -able and I don't feel like an Roger that type of player he's not necessarily looking for stats he's not a stats type of guy. But he's definitely the guy the leader and that's all he wants. I think that he has never had a coach in the NFL that he respects. And I could see why with Mike McCarthy honestly and I don't and that's not a knock to the accomplishments that McCarthy is made but look McCarthy's not that in-your-face ace coach. He's more of a passive guy and I personally think that you know a player like Aaron Rodgers needs a like minded minded. You know he needs a mind that his like his on the sidelines so they can co exist and you know they can be those mad scientists and. I think you're right if you put. If you put a Aaron Rodgers with Andy Reid think about that type of career. I was actually just gonNA bring that up. Imagine if Andy Reid had drafted in Aaron Rodgers to the Philadelphia phillies and imagine that time in the eagles the Eagles Eagles. I'm sorry Eh. We're playing football here buddy into roles day it's been a long day. Sorry chief King of I don't know where my mind is going. Ah No biggie continue brother wow so aaron rodgers goes to Philadelphia and imagine what those two could have done the machination of the offense of imagination. That Andy Reid has and the ability of Aaron Rodgers to put that into motion and make it happen on the field and swimming now that would be the another dynamic duo that would mirror bill belichick and Brady. Unfortunately Rogers never had that pairing. Never had that coach that he was able to get put with to have that sort of success right and so ultimately that makes you know New England. Anglin have the goat that Tom Brady right there. I mean let's keep it real when it comes down to it. It comes down to super bowl victories. Look Dan Marino Dan Marino Marino is steadily falling down the list of greatest quarterbacks of all time because of that and because of all this new talent coming in and I think it's a no mistake. You know Andy Andy. Reid finally got his quarterback. Finally it is hard to tame the animal and Patrick Mahomes. We know this is hard. It's hard and just like you know. I Made A tweet on Patrick actionable homes posts on twitter. And I basically said you know way to bring out showtime until the right time and that's really what needs to happen But Chris I mean we're all we all have our differences and you know status wise personal player. You know possibly you know. Rogers is better than than Brady. I mean I really snow mistake that he is. It's just a different system a different system a different conference and an okay. So let's let's take that into consideration as well. Oh aside from the Patriots over this is eighteen year one thousand nine year run. Now you're talking about there to visit are win win has the AFC east had a actual competitive team in. You're right I mean. I cannot argue with that that team has had the easiest road to the Super Bowl. Paid for them the any team possibly could and I will say also on the flipside the the Green Bay packers as the AFC west. I mean they really have a hard road to the playoffs wherever they make it. I'll give it to them. And yes I mean demographically. The Green Bay has has a harder task but look at the result of that the results show and I.

"Maybe even at home, but they've won five straight in e Braun is having an incredible like grunk in his prime year Packers Vikings. Can't beat cousins Eric Aaron Rodgers career against Kirk cousins. Oh, two and one. Her cousins is actually Kirk cousins has. Better receivers. But isn't that kind of thing I have to stop now, I'm being I'm being labeled as anti earn Rogers. I don't wanna be labeled. Anton Rodgers finally tonight titans against Texans. Monday night football. Not chiefs Rams. Chiefs Rams one hundred four points. This is mostly going to be about defense. And to Shawn Watson. I love to Shawn Watson to Shawn Watson is the quarterback. I would have taken I not Trubisky in this draft. But Bill O'Brien gotta give the coach credit is Sean at this point in his career is giving them about Twenty-three throws a game have them run make plays. Don't put thirty eight throws on the table. Don't do a Big Ben in fifty six throws. Let's keep it where he's comfortable, and Sean has been terrific. They're going to win their division. They've got a couple of playmakers on the outside and the defense not playing as good as their names still has tremendous talent the three word game. Looking for the perfect holiday gift untuckit dot com. Code heard untuckit dot com code heard H E RD for twenty five percent off. Speaking of Indianapolis. I call him my bore for that. I'm not a big I'm boring. So my favorite quarterbacks over the last several years in the NFL, and by the way, you like these guys too. But I love these guys Andrew luck Tom Brady. Russell wilson. Drew brees. Andrew luck can apply yesterday. This was very interesting game. I'm not going to bang on coaches for playcalling but Miami gave this game. It was fascinating. Miami gave this game Indy. So Miami had the ball like two and a half minutes left. Three minutes left Adam gays tannehill. Tammy a pretty decent game. They were running the football. They got into third down situation, and they just handed it off deep and their own territory, basically, meaning punting, well, you're going to punt the ball plight about the forty yard line. An Andrew luck in the offense was rolling where the colts got the ball. They only need twenty three yards to be Adam Viteri field goal range. I like them gays. I really do. I think Miami's got themselves a good coach. I don't know if he's great. He's good. I did not get that coaching at all. Dolphins yesterday. So Andrew luck gets the ball Cameron wake in Miami. It had a pretty decent pass rush. They'd gotten to Andrew luck. Finally, hadn't been sacked at a month. And Andrew lock pulls off his best play of the year. Third and nine. Ducks the pass rush throwing deep. Roger that pays off again. Strong. Can't knock him down gets his is down here too makes the big plane. But that was great stuff. You know? My MVP's right now are drew Brees one Andrew luck to and who cares. Three most people trend for came on earlier today. He said you've got to put Philip rivers in there. I would put Patrick Mahomes. Probably now after Big Ben yesterday third. But I just think there's two guys in this league that I mean, Andrew luck has had three plus touchdown passes in eight straight games. Michael Victoria yesterday. He did that seven times on his whole career eight and he didn't have a number two receiver colts colts need a pass rusher next year in the draft, and then he'd number two wide receiver badly, Jamie. Thank you villain today. Thank you for having me. Thank you. Tony Gonzalez and banned Russia the Cowboys linebackers in her demaro, see them.
