"It was done firmly who would give the Queen one of her most memorable victories. Dunn farmland was a bay Philly, lean and wiry with a white star or birthmark between her eyes. Trained by dick kern, she would go winless as a juvenile in three starts, but show potential nonetheless. In 1977, Dunn farmland opened her three year old season with a win in the pretty poly stakes at newmarket, followed by a victory in the epsom oaks. Winning the oaks for the queen in the silver jubilee year of her reign caused her to remark, this means everything to me. It's my greatest moment. Later that year, in September, dunfermline was sent to doncaster for the saint ledger, the oldest of the English classics. She would go to the post at ten to one odds. Unbeaten alleged was the odds on favorite and was considered the hottest favorite for the race in many years. With an 8th of a mile to go, alleged and done firmly had kicked ten lengths clear of the field. It would make for a memorable finish. "Just. She just doesn't do it for me if that kind of makes sense. I think she solid isn't she? But she doesn't have any of that sort of wow factor for me. That was exactly the place I was going to use. She's one full group ones in a row and it's had to knock a Philly, isn't it? That's one four group ones in a row, but she's been exceedingly well placed to win those four group ones. I think she can't talk about her tassel. Last August, she's then beaten in cologne and Munich and Miriam and mendecino and they're hardly names that trip off the turn out and last time out at St. Cloud. She beat baratti in a race where several of the leading players underperformed to definition bombed out hurricane lane. Yeah, she can win, but she's not for me as favorite. Now, my way into this race was to look at magical lagoons beating of toy last time. She beat toy by half a lens, didn't she? In the Irish oaks. Now, my feeling is and I'm sure you can tell me if I'm on the right road here or not Emmett. But my feeling is that at bally Doyle, they wouldn't have toy in anywhere near the same bracket as Tuesday. No. Magical lagoon only beat about half a Lin. Were you an I got away to a murder because we both put up Choi for the Irish oaks as a scumbag each way better 25s. When Ryan Moore was declared, but the bookmakers never reacted. Everybody seemed to think that she was going to be on board history or Emily Dickinson. And then there was the farcical situation where the flight was canceled and Emily Upjohn couldn't go. So there was an odds on favors, and she suddenly gets sliced, but we had gotten the 25s. In an anti post, which was given to us, and we kind of got away with murder that day. That was an account closer. Thankfully nothing kaluki, but from certain other firms who weren't exactly pleased with this. And she's gone after 5 to one shot. But if Tuesday was in that race, Tuesday would have given her a proper run until it wouldn't be in her league. Until he has subsequently been beaten in Germany. Yeah, and I think Tuesday would have won the Irish oaks, to be honest. I don't think she was at her best when she took on west over in the Irish Derby. Now, the form of the epsom oaks has taken a few knocks, but you can't argue with what Nash was done subsequently. Now Emily at John has herself has been a little bit disappointing. I still think she's a very good friendly I think she'll prove that in time. Tuesday is an oaks winner and I'd rather have a classic winner coming into this. The group won the Yorkshire oaks than alpinista who's been beating up essentially group two our group three horses in substandard group on races. Yeah, I would a 100% agree with that. I know Rory was a big fan of Al than Easter and put her up on the show many times. He was frustrated when she was pulled out a certain races. There were opportunities. Was she going to go for the coronation last year? And he took her out. I think she was. When Paul driver won, I think that Rory was up to his conquerors under that day. It was a bit annoyed that she came out. He identified a very early on and clearly she is talented. I've had this race in mind for Tuesday for a very long time. I think since she was beaten in the Irish Derby, it's been in my mind that this is the way I still go for. And here we are. I can't quite get away from her. She was given the fact that she wasn't actually officially yes, but she didn't turn three until the oaks, yet she was good enough to place in the 1000 guineas and the Irish 1000 guineas, and then on her birthday windy oaks. And the fact that they supplemented her for the Derby, in what was, in hindsight, a bizarrely run race. Where she just seemed to be very flat westover had complete control of the race. She was out at the back, and when Ryan it really aim at and she didn't pick up. Edinburgh's table was flying. She said 54 days to recover. I think she's a big big player here. She's a huge player. I would tend to believe what I saw at epsom more than what I saw at the car. I think that was a ridiculous Irish Derby. And I think she's going to win. Yeah, I'm done with the completely. And unlike the great voltage, this is a race that age and O'Brien does win and he tends to bring some of his very best Phillies to it. And I would go as far as happy very disappointed to be honest if Tuesday can't be helping us. Yeah. Memories of Tapestry pulling off that massive upset against to grew to back in 2014, but 7th heaven on this race love snowfall. Yeah, he's best. Peeping phone, of course, was a terrific one this way. Alexandrova, his best tend to come here, and I think she is very much the best. There's an argument to be said, she's the best with the exception of Luxembourg. The best three year old middle distance horse at bally Doyle. I think Luxembourg, we didn't do a review. We'll do that with Washington next week. We'll factor in the royal whip, but I actually thought that was a nice comeback. Especially when a brine was warning everybody, he needs this. He badly needs it, and he's going to improve an awful lot from us.

"Preview presented by naira betts, Bobby Newman, bob nastanovich with a dozen races to look at from around America this evening. We've got races in New York, races in Indiana, races in Iowa, races in Delaware, bob some places that we don't normally get to visit too often on the weekend stakes preview all having big weekends this weekend. Oh, you know, horseshoe Indianapolis and Prairie Meadows. This is their big weekend of the year. So pretty exciting. I made the degrade one raises on the grass, the Belmont Derby and the belt Belmont oaks just look like fantastic races. Pretty great weekend erasing. Folks and I were bets as the best way to bet all weekend long if you're not a naira bet's customer yet, first of all, what are you waiting for? Second of all, join nyra bets today. You can pet tracks like Belmont Churchill downs Delaware park and hundreds more while enjoying a $200 deposit match bonus just use the promo code HR N 200, get in the action. Today it's the final weekend of racing at Belmont and then Saratoga kicks off for the summer this coming Thursday getting all the action with nyra bets today and of course you can watch the action all weekend long on America's day at the races tomorrow, FS two from one to 7 p.m. then back from 8 to 11 p.m. on Sunday they're on from 1230 to 5 those times are eastern. All right, bob, a dozen races to look at today and we're going to start at beautiful Belmont park. It is closing weekend at Belmont, and they've got four stakes on their Saturday card tomorrow. Starting with race number four, it's the grade two, $400,000 suburban. Four year olds and up going a mile and a quarter, of course this is a kind of a one and a half turn mile and a quarter as they almost start right on that Clubhouse turn. We've got a field of 5 and it's an interesting handicapping puzzle because none of the 5 are really speed horses. So what do you do? Yeah, well, first of all, I like to mention that max players in here fourth choice in the morning line is the defending champion in the race and at that point last summer he strung together the two best races of his career. He parlayed this victory in the suburban on July 3rd last year and then won the jockey club gold cup at Saratoga for some reason I can't explain the three races since have been really, really subpar. So he'll have to completely reverse his form. Couldn't agree with you more about the pace and reo in here. I think to me it's a match on paper between the two favorites, first captains 8 to 5 in the morning line up dynamic one who I don't actually think will go off favorite is 7 to 5. The 5 horse trained by Todd pletcher ridden by irad Ortiz. I thought that sugar because he put the blinkers on last time, may 20th at pimlico, horse ran a very, very good race, so a lot of tenacity to get up when by a head from vindictive, who's a nice horse. The most the key factor in here is I think he does have a bit of tactical speed. He showed it early in his career. He's shown that he's capable at sprinting. He's got he's got route speed, so I don't know, and also, you know, being ridden by Louise syes, always struck me as a very aggressive rider. I give him the edge. He's my selection. He's three for three at Belmont park, and I just think he has the edge on the small group. All right, so first captain for bob, I went to the favorite dynamic one. This is not a race that I'm really looking forward to betting. I'm looking forward to watching it, but I'm just confused as to who's going to get what kind of a trip in here. All of them with the exception of number three four warned have shown some sort of tactical speed at some point in their career. They just don't seem like that's really where they want to be. They like to close. All 5 of them seem like they want to be midfield or further back. So it looks like it's just going to be a tight pack most of the way around at a very dawdling pace and maybe first captain's the one who makes the lead. Maybe it's number one untreated. Maybe it's even max player. All things equal though, I think dynamic ones in the best form. I liked his win in the blame last time out. I'm going to pick him to win for the second straight time. This will be his first ever try at Belmont park. Bob picking first captain, I went to dynamic one in the great to suburban. Jump forward to race number 7 at Belmont tomorrow. One of a couple grade one races on tomorrow's car. This is the grade one Belmont oaks invitational for three year old Phillies going a mile and a quarter on the inner turf. We've got a nice field of ten good mix of some good Northern California, Northern California, northern North American Phillies, and some Phillies who have done some good things across the pond. Yeah, 5 of 5 of each, I believe, a 5 European horses, 5 U.S. ones, I am under the impression that this crop of three old Phillies in Europe is not a vintage crop. I think the male was the colts are better. And obviously, that's just something that I'm surmising from watching the both the Irish oaks and the epsom oaks and even the pre Diane, which is the French oaks. This is a great race. It's an incredibly competitive and intriguing race. I mean, like Bobby said, there's horses coming from all corners. Horse I love and hear that I think is a better horse. She was an outstanding two year old and it was even better this year as the 5 consumers spending has developed the great association with Manny Franco. Of course it's Chad Brown who's having a 32% meat, and this fill is just in great form. She's undefeated this year. She turned the tables on pizza Bianca when she won first out in April, then ran a massive race granted as the one to two favorite in the wonder again. I'm actually going to take a long shot. I think that Cairo and memories who ships in from Southern California for bob has junior is in fantastic form is going to be completely overlooked. She's 12 to one in the morning line. I think Mike Smith sends her to the front, hopefully sets tepid fractions, and she doesn't get reeled in. So I'm going to take a horse of a Cairo prince Philly out of an Indian Charlie mayor who has a lot of talent, a lot of speed. All right, so number two chiral memories along shot for bob. I didn't go with a long shot in here, but I didn't pick the favorite. Charlie appleby has interesting runners in both the Belmont oaks and the Belmont Derby this year. Runners that are coming off subpar efforts in their most recent starts, but have good form prior to that. And I think they both have good chances. The one that's gotten the yolks is number four with the moonlight. She didn't run very well at 11 to one in the group one kazoo oaks last time out at epsom. I don't know if the competition was just too tougher that day or something went wrong, but she finished so far back. I'm kind of willing to forgive that. Her previous form is very, very good, and I trust in Charlie appleby, so I'm going to go with number four with the moonlight at a square price of 6 to one to rebound. I think her good Euro form is good enough to contend with, if not beat this field in the Belmont oaks. With the moonlight for me, chiral memories for bob in the Belmont oaks race 7 tomorrow at Belmont park. 8th race on the Belmont card tomorrow is the grade $350,000 victory ride. This race also for the three year old Phillies, a little bit of a different situation, those 6 and a half furlongs on the main track, speedy field of 7 going to post and bob, you know, we talked about the suburban earlier where there was no speed in the race, I can't find anyone who doesn't have speed in this victory ride. It should be an unbelievably fast pace. Unless you know the strategy of some of these riders are going to have to take back, obviously a bunch of world class riders in here. But yeah, like you said, this is a very tricky race to handicap because the first 8th of a mile is going to be so important to the outcome. And how fast they go and who's able, this could be won by a horse that comes from ten to 15 out of it, but they all seem to have speed. And they don't none of them seem to have big closing kicks.

"Them packed the stadiums. I mean, are the tracks? I mean, they're all packed and being from Kentucky. I love to go out to California because it's just getting away from here and the weather is beautiful and the sites are beautiful and I just hate I hope someone will stand up to this racing board and challenge them a little bit. But anyway, I don't want to go much further past that, but one thing I don't know if I've listed the map Vermeer quite a bit on his on his show and he kind of breaks up the race and season in two segments as Triple Crown and then the breeders cup and then you have the boutique meats of Saratoga and del mar kind of sprinkled in there. With their big races, but I think it's true we're coming towards the end of the Triple Crown and we'll just all going to start looking forward to the breeders cup at keenland this year. That said, you know, tomorrow will kind of start a big day in Europe with the epsom oaks and the I don't even know what to call the Derby they call it the Derby, the epson der, they call it the kazoo. That is call it the Darby. Yeah. Yeah. And then the Darby. So, you know, and I think you've got some great European racing that's getting ready to start kicking us all in the face right now to kind of start prepping for the breeder's cup. You know, this, I don't know if that would be great if family Upjohn is all that and could come over and desert crown could come over as well. There's so many good horses by eat, who's the mahler, but I know if you guys have given any thought to the epsom oaks and the kazoo Derby about who the big ones are. So I'll let you go. Thank you for letting me say what I had to say. I appreciate the caldera. So ask you, James, you know, we're kind of pigeonholed here, a lot of us who live here in the states don't really think that much about the European racing until it gets closer to breeders cup time within a few months of there. And I would have to say that, you know, a lot of the folks, the racing fans in this country don't pay attention to these races that Darren was talking about. Yeah, that's right. And. You know, I work with a couple people Vance Hansen and Kelly Rowley, especially with international race and that follow that more closely. But I know that Emily up John to a three year old Philly, you know, who's going to be the big favorite, I guess, for the epson oaks. But not too sure about that picture. I'll pay more attention to that. As we get a little bit closer to the race, the epson Darby itself and but Darren's right, you know, the week typically we have a we run the Belmont stakes and then we have a week off and then the week after that starting on Monday or Tuesday is a royal ascot, but this year immediately following the Belmont, we go ride it into royal ascot. And that's always a chance for me to really dive deep into that international race. And I love following that role as I don't know about you, Bobby. I do too. It's a place that seems amazing. I'd love to get there. One of these years, I don't know if it's ever going to happen. But it's on my list of places that I'd love to go and see at least once. I can't tell you this, Darren, on our new bedding with Bobby show that starts tomorrow every Friday from four to 6 Eastern Time. We will have a future wager segment going on each week soon. It's not going to start tomorrow because the future wagers kind of don't really, you know, the odds don't really start coming out until after the American Triple Crown season is set. So somewhere in a few weeks, we'll start looking ahead at future wagering for all of the breeders cup races and then after the breeders cups done, we'll start looking at future wagering for the following years, Kentucky, Derby, that will be a regular segment on betting with Bobby, which starts tomorrow every Friday from four to 6 Eastern Time. We're going to take our final break when we come back. Phone lines are still open. You get one last chance to give us a call today. 888-966-4776 is the number this is the bris net dot com call in show on HR.

"It's monday it's podcast. Dave but no money which having a well deserved day off. So you've got mainly mustard sitting in the city and i'm joined by my rising scully's grandma boylan as we look back on the weekend. Just gone and look ahead to the week to come which ends of course with the georgia. Six and quinlan mistakes at ascot on saturday more of that to come motaung well off a star. A nebraskan trained filly in that race in love but a star. A lebron trained fifty was an action at the curragh on saturday. When snowfall completed her oaks double falling up an extremely easy and wide. Marge win at epsom was the similarly easy and wide margin victory. the curragh mark. You were there were you. What did you make for performance. Yeah just a coup there for the day. At my god i wrote. Kara cheated her fair to to turn the temperature up to she was very very goes ultimately. I talked to were periods of the race. Where maybe she wasn't carrying ryan absolute power to them stages but once was ching-kuo daylight appeared for the top of the straight. You have retaken by the way. She's pulled clear at the same time. You have to have reservations about the level of the fallen behind her. But i think it's all about the style rather than the substance of what was in behind and she's pulled really really fire care just y- context. I know snow fairy by then. But this eight and a half cents. It's the biggest winning margin since nineteen or even the irish oaks so for america to have epsom oaks The kazoo walks record broken epsom for sixteen lens and to break an over one hundred yards at the car. You know it just goes to show you Top-drawer fifty first japanese bred to in an irish ask who so as not significant victory and thought it was telling us about roy moore said that she was the best around at the moment said when asked how does he stack up in all the good mares cities that he's written he was a keen to nasha directly highlight or another put address. That was an inch the nine. Yeah absolutely she's a fascinating billy. Because she was consistently beaten lassie's. She was fourteen to one when she reappeared in the music doors. Thanks it would have been impossible to leave setting that she would have even been winning classics holiday anyway. Wooden what the way. She's been winning them absolutely. Yeah very difficult host to weigh out because now only wishy cowan on fourteen to one when she won the music door. I i'm up at york. She'd oversleeping well beaten on several occasions as a two year old and they seemed absolutely convinced that sends a bomber was the superstar phili- in ballydoyle. The start the season not snowfall to in fact to the point where roy moore completely deserted snowfall in the oaks that she won by sixteen names to ride sense barbara so it does make you wonder what senator to barbara was doing home at the start. The season and what snowfall wasn't doing home because she was eleven to two for the oaks behind us but she is just developed into an outstanding affiliate of apparently nowhere and i came to take her own on saturday. Price yeah. I just thought that that wasn't roy. The oaks when she was sixteen those. But you don't see his lie that you when you see was when things like that and you're of my suit of mind you often sit there and go or if it looks too good to be true then it often is too good to be true and you taking her own show price two two seven so you know you wasn't going to lose the money if you if you took her on and lighter which i did but yeah i must admit like mark said about four or five. Yeah always fairly hopeful. Thought ryan was pushing away a little bit strong keeper on the bridal but once she got into clichy absolutely powered home. I still think i am. I mean this might be a bit of a hollow victory. But i still think. Coin in the oxycodone. Epsom foam is entirely to be believed. I mean she gone off once when he three epsom and she didn't come to that mock and winning. The kirsch only runs one team but of course that was still fall fall better than anything else. I just think we're gonna learn a lot more about the as as the as the season goes on. Hopefully she's gonna face improper roses. Instead of all these philly. She keeps beating up and when she faces some purposes. We can get an idea of how good she is but she coast. We'll get in. The phillies allowance off off the mouse as well which will also swing the titles in fiber. She will approve yourself. Absolute tip top class. But i still think she's got to lee well does interested and you talked about the phillies allowance. Grime move towards. What would be the logical autumn target the pre lot trail you'll be getting the phillies allowance and the three year olds allowances world which may be explains why the moment in the betting for the arc. She actually trump's lovable. Speak about later on in the program but you can get between three to one five to one about snowfall next in the betting that has love at five hundred eleven to two. Then there's another a lebron trying host mark specific who could have caused it to ten furlongs or even a mile season when online. You got horses. Like tanaka were wonderful tonight. Aguilar there's next to no french aussies at all prominent in the betting. It's ripe for export this ship. Choice the tuvia again before we move on from the irish oaks mark. I graham second snowfall. Issue the minute the word the favor and would not be taking any of the while the majority price seems to be seven two two four two which we taking any of that mark the moment but if i had to be stretchered to yourself and love i think love might be more an extra towns at given that we have acts which thinking fighting last ten years or something along those lines have been run with an easing the ground and we know elevated the stress that love absolutely is based which gets raffling. Quick ground i. I would have to think that if at the way it's never been considered snowfall is a better chance to win it in the air than love bush. I still think the arc winner. We haven't seen her to season. I still think now is going to pop up with this masterminded strategy again to target the ultimate. You just get the sense. That wants the carton come now on her season at last year in keenan at the breeders sculptor. This was the date that soccer is on the calendar to return to paris. Have one of our my opera under Deep deep d- excited to see what she can do. If you gave me a free ten davin the horrible. Strictly on the o'brien cities. I'd probably just in this particular sentence circumstances if we got an easy to grow. Give you snowfall over.

She really fired home to win. I think this phileas an explosive kick. And i think she's gonna be firing once again at the end of the diana godolphin's been just winning just about everything this year. I think they can do it again. With fica let's unical russo's pedigree pick segment focuses on. I know it's going to be a two year old spa. The first saturday card of the saratoga meet includes three races for two year. Olds delmon and i will take a closer look at the grade. Three sanford which has one of its biggest fields in years on spa babies this week for tv but here on the gate. I want to take a closer look at the sixth race will look at the field here for maidens on the turf going to turns. These races always really fun at saratoga. Some really interesting puzzles and they produced some nice horses over the years going to turns. I like to start by looking for a horse with some racing experience other exceptional horses do always seem to prove the. I do think it's hard for these babies to have the fitness foundation to debut at two turns off just works now up the three experienced horses in this race. Never say no may very well wind up as your favorite. He's made both his starts on the turf finished second going seven for out an international pedigree by no name. Never i tend to like those a little bit better going a little bit shorter but out of a galileo mayor. That certainly helps in this spot. One of the other experienced horses in here is our doc by turf. Champion gio ponti. So that's an obvious pedigree but this one has been well beaten into starts to date. I think the value play. Maybe the horse with the experience but with the least obvious of the three pedigrees. Reddell enroll is from the first crop of connecting out of johannesburg mayor now he was third debut at churchill downs and sometimes that main track place kindly to turf type horses. I like that. Have your solano is getting aboard. Second time out for trainer. Ken mcpeek now. This is the first crop for connect who will watch here scoring his biggest win. In the grade one cigar mile obviously did all of his work on dirt. But i do think he could be a little bit of a hidden turf sire. Connect us by kirwin who ran well against a salty field in his one triumph turf and who does have some grated performers on the surface. His first son to study was palace. Malice who in his first crop. Sired breeders cup juvenile turf winner. Structre no surprises one. more generation. back kirwin is by smart. Strike an outstanding multipurpose sire represented by turf champion english channel and others. It's obviously a to turn type of sira line as well so putting all that together. I do think rattle and roll may offer you some great value in this maiden spot. Some other pedigrees of noted this race. I'd be remiss not to mention james louise's by good turf and juvenile sira more than ready out of a german-born mayor portfolio company and great britain by turf champions and leading sires kitten's joy in english channel respectively. Great britain also out of the good turf mare. Therrien and informal out of epsom oaks winner casual. Look the dam of a graded winner on earth and casual smile while. Let's stay on the turf and moved down the shoreline a little bit. We'll get you on over to the team for a look at the grade. One united nations on saturdays card at monmouth park..

"In both of those were fourths one of those was in her first career start. The other one was in the ash where she was beaten by three graded stakes winners speech venetian harbor and on bhutan. All three of them are great statesman or so certainly not losing about horses. When she's losing. I i love the thought of her. Getting back. Out to a mile and a quarter. She ran a very good race behind swiss skydiver who is not losing that day. An you know. Bonnie south was coming from really far backs with scott didn't lead the whole way but she was just basically doing whatever she wanted to do in the stretch of the alabama and that was a very good effort for her body. South ran a very good second place finish behind her. Swiss skydiver was villa last year. Bonnie south had flashes of of really really good efforts and she is she only has one stakes when one race one Since she won the fairgrounds which was which was the race that everybody thought was going to propel her to the top of the philly division Did not necessarily do that but she has not run bad in any start really in her career except for he. You know you might make the case for the first career. Start of her career but aside from that she's been very good. I can't go against her here. I don't love anyone in this race. Outside of her. I can see reasons for her getting beat because she has gotten beat on the spot before races but she just looks to be in the best form Eric is going to take shot against her though he is going to be going with. Miss marisa the horse. Who finished ahead of her in the black eyed susan stakes. And now we're going to head over to belmont park. There are three graded stakes on saturday. At belmont park. All of them are very impactful to them. Great ones the belmont. Derby and the belmont oaks racist. We've been waiting for for a while and Unfortunately for the americans here these races are definitely very top heavy with europeans coming over a european specifically trained by aidan. O'brien and we'll start with the belmont oaks. Eric and i are both going to be going with santa barbara. In the belmont oaks. The favorite for the epsom oaks backing june. She didn't run to well there. ran fifth which was an okay effort snowfall. The winner of that race won by sixteen links. And you know. Santa barbara has run some good races this year hasn't been at. The oaks wasn't the greatest effort but she redeemed herself in a group one ireland where she finished in neck back of thundering. Nice who very nearly beat at the moment. The top turf mayor in america mean mary so certainly an effort that was redeeming of that oakes performance. And you know. She is still been very lightly raced in her career she. She did not run after her maiden breaking effort until the one thousand guineas which she ran it very good fourth-place finish there. She was a couple of nex away from being second in that race of certainly very strong for her. The oaks was whatever. And i'm willing to look past that. I think that this is a race that santa barbara is going to be able to win. Games mission is affiliate has been talked about numerous times on racing run out. i like her as evaluate underneath. I haven't spoken to eric about it. But i know that eric has been high on gam's mission for a while and i would imagine that. He thinks that she can run a very good race in the other horse. I like specifically in here. For value is serena. I used her in this race. The one reason that. I do like her as if she goes to the lead in here because her two best races this year had been when she's gone to the lead so hopefully she does that if not an oh well but the to vilis that i feel really confident about running. Strong races are santa barbara and gam's mission one final note ignore the figures with gam's mission. I talked about it. In the preview for the valmont oaks on youtube. I talked about it or both of us talked about it after she won the regret stakes to figures. Don't really look great on her but that doesn't really matter. We'll move on now to the grade. Three victory ride this really interesting race for three year old. filly sprinting. A sandwich in between two really good three-year-old grass races. This is all over the place. The favorite right now in the morning line is australasia. A really good philly for brad cox. Who has done some good running. She wanted a stake race on the sunday after the belmont stakes jersey girl. She's undefeated in her career. She's a louisiana brett. Lot of her runs. Have come against exclusively louisiana breads but her to starts Outside of the state of louisiana the churchill downs allowance race and jersey. Girl would both good efforts for her. However i have been picking favorites all weekend and i think that you know i. I've never been so convinced on australasia. That i think that she's an unbeatable horse so i'm going to look against her and the horse. I'm looking to is affiliated. Wesley war who for some reason is ten to one on the morning line. I don't really know why she's tend to one. She's undefeated on the dirt. Coming out of a graded stakes win at pimlico. She wanted to miss preakness stakes her allowance. When it keeneland this year office significantly off was a very very good effort for her. Obviously a greatest stakes when her one bad start was a turf race at kentucky. Downs and doesn't really look like this philly is a turf war. So i really like this philly in this race. I want to beat australasia. I think i have the horse to beat australasia with. She's coming out of two really good races this year. Eric also going to try to be australasia here. But he's going with the other louisiana bread in this race overcharged who won a maiden race at delta downs by ten and three quarter lengths in her most recent start one and allowance at monmouth park. The same day that gam's mission one regret stakes. She won that allowance race by five and three quarter lengths so couple phillies to take a shot at take. A shot against australasia with australasia has been very good but i think that she is beautiful and so does eric. So we're going to try to beat her in this race. And now we're gonna move onto the big feature race of the belmont stakes the closing saturday belmont stakes. There's one more day racing at belmont park before we go up to saratoga. But the final big feature race is the belmont derby and once again this racist headlined by a european. There's good americans in here but unfortunately eight o'brien is coming over here. What the epsom darby favourite. Eric said this to me that he can't remember a time. A non breeders cup race in america. That aidan o'brien has brought as good of an entrant. Four as he has these two races and bolshoi ballet is the better of the two horses. Bolshoi ballet was a big favorite going into epsom. Darby did not work out for him but he had some problems..

"In the windsor castle stakes. He's gone onto saddle eleven winners at that. Prestigious meet in camp and ellie one of the winners that came last year in the gray to queen mary. And what a performance that was wesley ward back again this year with several contenders royal. Ascot getting ready to open on tuesday. There will be four breeders. Cup challenge races winning. You're in events contested over the course of that meet next week and who better to talk about those races and the entire meet them. I good friend. Jim guoxing from the breeders cup. Jimmy welcome my friend mike. Thanks for having me today. Good to be on. Yeah excited to talk about royal ascot. you know. I remember last year when we were in the midst of the pandemic and now we're starting to come out of it. Things are improving. It seems like a different feel this year than it did. Of course last year with the royal ascot races but it's always such a special race. Meet it it's a it's just. It defines world class competition at royal ascot. Interestingly enough similar to dominant stakes day last weekend they'll be about twelve thousand spectators back at the royal ascot for the races. Of course starting on tuesday so hopefully things have written or coming back as they here as they have here in the united states so looking forward to it. This is the fourth year of the breeders cup association of breeders cup challenge winger in races with the ascot authority with royal ascot delighted to be back again. Of course races are televised. Live on nbc. S and Starting on tuesday with first breeders cup winning there in the first race of the royal. Need the queen. Anne stakes for an automatic berth into the fan duel breeders cup mile course on turf. Have you been to royal ascot jimmy. I've had the privilege of being twice To royal ascot two times my es I went in two thousand and four when it was a very different race. Track than it is today And they went back in two thousand and two thousand nineteen i did. I returned to royal ascot where it was the a beautiful course as as it is today beautiful grandstand enclosure area. So it's it's special. Obviously it's different. Here's the racist. Go up very quickly. It was just about a half hour between the races. And there were just six day so It's it it goes is quite or six or seven day it's quite a quite a quite an experience And the the focus on the on the great racing During the afternoons each day of the meeting. Yeah i have never had the privilege to be there at least not to this point anyway and i was going to ask you for those of us like myself. Who haven't been to royal ascot. What is it that makes it so special. Buy thank you just kinda summed. It up you know and the attire that you see from the gentleman from the ladies that attend the races there is is really second to none. We talk about the derby hats and all of that kind of stuff that goes along with the kentucky derby and that's very special in its own right but there's something different about the appearance of royal ascot even when you watch it on television well it definitely i have found to be a very concentrated low Attention to the horses During during the during the period the focuses on on the racehorse there certainly a majesty that surrounds it but the prestige of winning one of these races is spectacular. Obviously the large sizes of some of these fields so these sprints where they break off into two groups eight on one side at twelve on another or or as many as twenty four. Great horses. Going into raises is also terrific. A little kooky in a way when you see them and it's a real challenge for the announcer On the straight events to pick up the fields on both sides but It's it's a real thrill. And i think that It's something that everyone should do at least once. No no question. I would certainly agree with that. We touched on the four breeders cup challenge races. That will be contested next week. Beginning with that queen. Anne stakes on tuesday opening day. What are some of the other. Highlights that folks can look forward to netra from the race standpoint but from the horses and the people that are going to be represented next week. Will mike obviously From a breeders cup respectively may have as many three former or defending champions for anticipating the right away. Order of australia was a huge upset winner. Of last year's fan two mile in the queen. anne is a formidable task and palace pier or John tandy gosden only lost one race in his career to terrific Racehorse palace pierre as mentioned audible stralia for For the coolmore team and when that shouldn't be overlooked is a lobby for an end is from The brian barn and then we have two former champions in the queen. Anne in lord glitters one or two thousand nineteen and accidentally agent in one in two thousand eighteen. So i think You've got really solid racists the very first race during the meeting Think we'd move on. We have a on. Wednesday is when you're in for loaning breeders cup turf in the prince of wales's stakes At a mile and a quarter we have last year's one two finishers in ward north and today ebb from odd the irish where the day of in in that particular race That is going to be a terrific advance along with love from Michael taber derrick smith and john near and this john near love whose unbeaten us a three year old including Winning the thousand guineas the oaks epsom oaks and the yorkshire oaks as well as defending champion in philly their turf and that would be dara So that that's a terrific racing. Its own right then. We change On thursday over to the two year olds and you mentioned was reward was so spectacular success at royal ascot in the norfolk stakes. Social words the field obviously not been quite yet many runners in there. He's going to have a a to maiden winners in lucci Who wanted gaumont On on these may nine. He went back in april. I'm not gonna tony one at qinglin. That's another runner that he has those or two The two possibilities for him in there. And then. If i can just go right on into saturday you have the diamond jubilee at turf sprint. And we have glass slippers in that race on the closing day..
