"Two thousand sixteen but now he's gone. Further in rejecting and renouncing The intelligence findings of our own government. And that's a very serious and concerning matter if we need a united front and we do to resist Russian interference. It's gotta come from the top and the decisions and and words of Donald Trump are very disturbing and really I think Provide Comfort to the Russians and I just WanNa wants to get pointed out the reaction from Senator Sanders totally different than the reaction. From president trump among other things Senator Sanders said unlike Donald Trump. I do not consider Vladimir Putin a good friend. He is an autocrat. Thug AUTOCRATIC THUG was attempting to destroy democracy and crush dissent in Russia. I we're GONNA leave it on that Congressman Gerry Connolly. Thanks for joining us. We're following obviously the break my pleasure and stay with us for more Senator Bernie Sanders. He's been told. Us officials once again that Russia's trying to help his presidential campaign we're going to talk about it And and continue our special coverage with a national co chair of the Standard Stamford. How do you judge someone not by what they say by what they do? We're a nation of worse. What's Mike Bloomberg about doing things? A middle class kid worked his way through college and Entrepreneur Bloomberg built a global news and information business from scratch mayor of a diverse progressive city. Mike Bloomberg rebuilt after nine eleven. Creating nearly five hundred thousand jobs improving health care and public schools. So now he's running for president. And Mike's the change. We need from chaos to steady leadership from lies to someone who believes in facts and data from divisiveness to someone who builds teams nurtures good ideas and hold himself accountable for results. Mike Bloomberg knows how to lead to build to deliver to do. He'll win and unite this country. Mike will get things done. I'm Mike Bloomberg candidate for president. And I approve this message because we need to deliver on the promise of the American Dream. Paid for by Mike Bloomberg Twenty twenty. This hour's breaking news officials have told US Senator Bernie Sanders that Russia is trying to help his presidential campaign joining us now. Democratic Congressman Rokon of California. He's National Co Chair of the Bernie Sanders Campaign Congressman. Thanks so much for joining us. I don't know if you heard what Senator Sanders just said a few moments ago but let me play this little clip. Listen to this. Let me tell the American people. Republicans Democrats independents are sick and tired of seeing Russia and other countries. Interfering in our elections the intelligence community has been very clear about it but the trump recognizes it or not or acknowledges and not they did interfere in two thousand sixteen. The intelligence community is telling us they are interfering in this campaign right now in two thousand and twenty and what I say to Mr Putin if elected president trust me you are not going to be appearing in American Electric. All right congressman. I as I said you're a national co chair of the Bernie Sanders campaign. Have you been briefed on Russia's efforts personally to help his campaign? I have not personally been braved? The Senator Lander sanding has been brief. And he's made it very very clear. It is completely unacceptable. We're going to stand up against it. He had supported as all of us stated the House Bill to stop Russian interference. Mitch McConnell has refused to move that legislation. We're GONNA continue to push for legislation to make empower our law enforcement agencies to cooperate with tech to prevent this of interference. These descending was briefed a month ago by US intelligence law enforcement officials on the Russian effort. Ada Interfere in the campaign and be to try to help his campaign also clearly the tried to help the trump campaign. Why do you think it's it's remained quiet? Why didn't he come out publicly Senator Sanders and let his supporters? Let everyone know he wants to make it. Clear that there's no interference but I don't think he would be revealing what could have been classified briefing. I don't think he would want to reveal that publicly what he has made clear that there's going to be no room for Russian interference and he's been pushing to work with the Senate to actually get legislation done and I also think social media companies have a big responsibility. They need to make it clear that they will remove any disinformation post that they will remove any post from foreign actors. Yeah he issued a very tough statement as we've been saying much in contrast to the reaction that we're getting from President Trump Who's also been told? And he dismisses if the Russians are try to interfere to help his campaign. Why do you think congressman? Russia wants to help the Bernie Sanders campaign. Let's say rather than the campaigns have some of the other Democratic candidates. I've no idea what motivates a lot of Mir Putin. I mean he makes the decisions that are dumb all the time like annexing Crimea. All I can say is I think he wants to create the maximum level of confusion and division look. Russia is a has been powered. Their economy is in the dumps. They see the rise of China and they are basically realizing that their only method of competing in the world unfortunately is sowing discord in other democracies. That's not going to work and we clearly stand up the Putin and say this is unacceptable. And you're not going to endear yourself either to the United States or to Europe. If you continue down this path let me read to you. Something from the statement that senator centers put out a little while ago. I read a quote some of the ugly stuff on the Internet attributed to our campaign. May well not be coming from real supporters. Do you believe congressman. The campaign has evidence that some of this online harassment we've all been reporting about supposedly attributed to Bernie Sanders. Supporters has really been coming from Russia. I don't want to speculate on that. Because that would be going too far. What I will say is this. We have a responsibility in the sanders campaign to live up to his ideals. No Sanders supporter should be bullying or harassing online. No one should be saying something. That is making other people uncomfortable to participate as equals. We need to be inclusive in our campaign if there is interference. Obviously we need to get to the bottom of that. But I don't want to speculate on something where we don't have hard evidence. This is basically the second time he suggested Senator Sanders that maybe some of these ugly harassment coming from people Supposedly supporting his campaign really. He doesn't say hard but he says maybe coming from the Russians. He's willing to go there at least in part but you're not well. I think we can call for an investigation. I think I would trust the intelligence agencies and I do think they ought to be looking at what the interferences and are the Russians having botts online that are spreading misinformation or spreading hate and I would defer to the intelligence agencies as what Senator Sanders and that is the big difference between him and president trump. We believe in the intelligence agencies in this country. We believe they're professionals. We believe in their competence and we will look at the facts and ultimately I think what Senator Sanders would want is for the intelligence agencies to look into this and who is causing the disinformation. And what kind it is. Clearly the Russians are still trying to so political dissent turmoil political turmoil here in the United States by doing what they did in two thousand sixteen and what they're apparently doing right now as well congressman. Ro Khanna thanks for coming in. Thank you wolf are. We're going to have much more ahead on the breaking news. Once again Senator Bernie Sanders now confirming publicly that. Us officials have told him. Russia is interfering in his campaign. Hey everyone it's poppy harlow from CNN's boss files. Are we living in a scooter revolution? I don't know have you taken one. There's a new transportation. I'm sure you're noticing it in cities rather world electric scooters from San Francisco and Austin Texas terrorist Tel Aviv. Line CEO Brad. Subscribe to boss spouse today. This hour's breaking news. Us officials have told Senator Bernie Sanders officially that Russia is trying to help his presidential campaign. Let's get insights of our experts? Phil Mudd. Let's talk a little bit about this and it's interesting because in that twenty. Eighteen Robert Muller indictment of those Russian entities he said in there specifically that these Russian entities. Not only we're trying to help then candidate Donald trump but also trying to help Bernie Sanders Bernie Sanders Campaign Against Hillary Clinton for the Democratic nomination. Let me play the adversary. Which is what I had to do for a living for twenty five.

"To do. It was the same reason. I said you shouldn't do it. It's a slippery slope. Does this rise to the level of forfeiting a world series at does this lowered the standard in the future for books. And do you look back and say well every time someone cheated? I've come around to Stephen as way of thinking about this because the cheated using technology that only they had access to in a way that certainly led to an advantage and there was no defense against. Little Promo here. Maximum box it my five. Pm EASTERN TIME ESPN two long glow. When make sure I did brother brother my main he knows a little bit about some people. Like let's get a guy's got a little NFL to get into. Tommy Brady another thing that AMAC's expert and so Tom. Brady's pending free agency continues to be one of the biggest storylines brady season ended with a wild card loss and foxborough Tennessee. Titans Star isn't interested in Teflon. Tom Replacing their quarterback dairy Derrick Henry. Staying that he's still play. Obviously Age doesn't matter for him he's still playing at a high level but my question would be. Why aren't you good at wise? It Ryan good enough. Tom Brady is the go. No question at all the best of all time but then at the same time I mean Ryan. Tannehill is our quarterback went to the AFC championship. Why would we not want Ryan back? Patriots no we we see what it is. Maxed is this quote say more about Tannehill or Brady tannahill attended. Hill deserves it. It's so rare and football every now and then a high draft pick is a bust and let's face it Tannehill was a bust and we always hear about where you go matters in the system and how you wind up in the wrong situation and we've heard countless athletes countless NFL players. Especially talk about that. But usually if you're really a special quarterback wherever you go it's going to be obvious after five six years that it was not clear to me at all about Ted Hell. I considered him Overrated early and then eventually properly rated is not a starting quarterback not good enough but it didn't turn it turned out that no he's actually. An example of a guy was not in a good situation. At as soon as he was put in a good situation properly also experiencing he'd already garnered he was selected. Tannehill was excellent deepening. Off the top of my head. I can't remember a high first round. Pick this deep into his career changing the narrative around one eighty like this. He was totally excellent. I see Derrick. Henry wants to keep them and I think it speaks more to his excellence than than that. Brady slip it. I think it speaks more to Derrick Henry character. Then has smarts. Let me explain. Derrick Henry is a stud and I get all of that but what Derrick Henry is not realizing is that football this guy plays this game and he plays it at an elite level tomorrow and guarantee so if you got one year do I think that Ryan Tannehill is a better long-term investment. Then Tom Brady. Of course I do absolutely Tom. Brady is going to be forty three years of age and with the year that Ryan Tannehill. Of course I don't blame Derrick Henry sensibly coming to the defense of his quarterback right now. Who's going to be a free agent and then position and then line and get money all right but I want Derrick Henry to get paid I before you even think about paying a Ryan Tannehill. My point is I think Tennessee as they proved despoil season his knocking on the door. And if you're knocking on the door and you have an opportunity to have Tom Brady as your quarterback with his friend and former teammate might rebel. Who's your head coach? I don't think it's something that you should summarily dismissed. I don't blame him for coming to the Defense of Ryan. Tannehill get that but I think he should be careful because guess what we hope that Ryan. Tannehill will continue the excellent. He showed us to see. We don't have any evidence that he will. He's after the this year was the first year he showed up toy show does he was the quarterback. See differently I think tend to hill was clearly better than Brady and I think next year. The gap will widen as Tattoo Hills. Now played in this system for a year has made his bones and Brady's one year older Brady didn't have any help and his blasphemy to sit up and denigrate him in any way considering how he was bereft of weapons and he had worked weapons to throw. The Damn football too would have been a result after week. Seven ten hell did have better numbers and of course Brady won three superbowls together. Stephen a witch team can make the best pitch for Tom Austin powers. I know where you're going. I know you let's go. Let's hear it. I gotta I gotTa say this. I hope y'all I hope everybody is bracing themselves what I'm about to say. I'm not saying that Brady's leaving the Patriots okay okay. I'm not saying that Brady's leaving the Patriots but if you want to talk about a place he could go and make some noise and I'm certainly not saying. They should get rid of their quarterback but Tom Brady Dallas Cowboy if you WANNA get revenge if there's any truth and I don't know whether it is but if there's any truth to this belief that Tom Brady wants to show up. Bill belichick wants to make noise and somehow someway wants to validly elevate the brand because the cowboys at our biggest brand because a nonsense and did this functionality and they still headlines not because they deserve it as a football team. But if Tom Brady went to America and guided them to the Super Bowl. I'M NOT SAYING THAT. Shit because I love Dak Prescott and should get his money but if that happened all my Lord that would be. The biggest story is boy eighty million. They could certainly pay for him would be the biggest story in sports. Let me tell you what be so big about it. They got everything you want but offensive line talent on the back of a great running back wide receiver at deep receiving core. Fast everything you want. And when they don't make the playoffs with Tom Brady boy. It wouldn't happen. Yeah might let me tell you where he should go. And makes me think makes the best pitch and I've thought this since the beginning the Los Angeles chargers number one Los Angeles. Well that's why because it would be sexy with Tom Brady in Los Angeles. He could totally change the fortunes of the team at success and the chargers are the following loaded with offensive weapons. I never able to get over the Hump so you want. He's from the area.

"Conclusion. Now that's where this claim from assange. His lawyers at the president offered a pardon to the wikileaks founder. To senior White House officials who were in the West Wing at the time. Say That did not happen. But the White House statement on the matter doesn't tell the whole story. President trump not only met with congressman Rohrabacher. He endorsed him for reelection. In two thousand eighteen and Rohrabacher later told reporters that he was forbidden by top White House officials from discussing any kind of pardon deal with the president will. What's going on our Jim Acosta at the White House? Thank you joining us now. Democratic Congressman Roe conn of California's a CO chair of the Bernie Sanders Campaign Congressman. Thanks so much for joining us. Let's get to several of the issues that are coming up at a critical moment in his campaign. First of all congressman does senator. Sanders need to release his full medical records. But this Gupta has pointed out. The senator has released three letters. One of them says that the senators heart is in better condition than most men is age. He has none of the symptoms before the heart attack. We believe that's a full disclosure and that that should answer people's questions because he himself said before the voting started he was going to release more information. But now he's saying he's done releasing information about healthy seventy eight years old. He had a heart attack. What three months or so ago doesn't the American public deserves to know everything about his health? And and some of the other can all of the other candidates for that matter as well including Michael Bloomberg who is also seventy eight years old. They do deserve to know and I think Dr Sanjay Gupta who is trustworthy has said that those letters actually are pretty comprehensive and most people can go read them if further questions I think they can raise them but I frankly I don't think that Michael Bloomberg health should be an issue. I think they're both running. They both have shown that they're going. Crisscrossing the states Senator Sanders has released these letters. And I think they should speak for themselves because congressman a few months ago after his heart attack. He was interviewed by our Dr Sanjay Gupta and I'm looking at the transcript right now and he said this is Bernie Sanders. We will make the appropriate time all of our medical records public for you or anybody else who wants to see them. We will release all the records. It's a fair conversation to be having about health about age. That's where Sanjay said. And he said of course. It is absolutely so what I hear you saying what. I heard him saying last night at the CNN townhall. He's done releasing medical information. I think he believes those letters. Answer the American People's question about his health. It shows that his heart is in better condition than most people his age. I think you have to have some level of respect for even presidential candidates. Privacy's I mean. I don't think we want to have a situation. Where every number after health exam from your young age to When you're running should be released but he has released all the information finish ashore people. He's in good health. And we're not calling on Michael Bloomberg to do anything. No one's questioning his health. I certainly haven't questioned and Senator Sanders has and questioned. But I think the American public would like to know more details about Michael Bloomberg health as well given the fact that like like Senator Sanders as I said he's seventy eight years old. These had some heart related issues. He hasn't had a heart attack. Like Senator Sanders. How do you respond congressman to those critics who say this is very similar to what president trump has been doing as far as broken promises out there on the campaign trail for example? The president promised very often. He was going to release his tax returns. He still hasn't done so I don't think it's comparable it would be one thing. If the senator wasn't transparent the senator said he had a heart attack then released three letters from doctors summarizing his condition they describe in detail what condition hearts and they say that none of the symptoms he had before the heart attack are. GonNa come back so I think he's been a very transparent with people I think it's not comparable to what trump does which is hide the facts and trump submitted. A letter from a doctor saying he's an excellent health the most fit person ever Senator Sanders has never represented that he is just represented that he is fit enough to do the job of president of the United States. Let's look ahead to tonight's a very important debate on. This is the first time Michael will share the stage with the rest of the Democratic field. Give us a preview congressman of how Senator Sanders plans to take on the former New York City mayor. Senator has run a grassroots campaign. Mobilizing millions of people around the country. Michael Bloomberg today called on Joe Biden. Peop- you to jake and Amy Klobuchar to drop out of the race. I'm wondering if he's going to call on Bernie Sanders and Donald Trump to drop out of the race. I mean the reality is that people like folks to earn this Bernie Sanders is run. An underdog campaign. He's GonNa talk about how he's built a movement to fight for people. How's it going to deal with the issue of being a self describes himself a democratic socialist? Because as you know a lot of Americans hear the word socialist socialism they get nervous. I appreciate that and Bernie. Sanders believes if the free market is not going to nationalize any industry. He is an FDR Democrat. He wants to complete the new deal. Here's what he believes. He believes that people need healthcare. They need education that we need to invest in infrastructure. So everyone can have a shot at the American dream. And I think that's GonNa come out and he's not GonNa let Republicans distort what he stands for Ro Khanna the Democratic Congressman from California on the Senators lucky to have you as his co chair. Thanks so much for joining us. Thank you for giving me the opportunity up next the tensions between president trump and the attorney. General William Bara source now says bar has considered resigning plus court papers reveal shocking claim by the wikileaks founder. Julian assange whizzy offered a presidential park. How do you judge someone not by what they say by what they do? We're a nation of doers. What's might Bloomberg about doing things? A middle class kid work his way through college and Entrepreneur Bloomberg built a global news and information business from scratch mayor of a diverse progressive city. Mike Bloomberg rebuilt after nine eleven. Creating nearly five hundred thousand jobs improving health care and public schools. Now he's running for president and Mike's Change. We need from chaos to steady leadership from lies to someone who believes in fact some data from divisiveness to someone who builds teams nurtures good ideas and hold himself accountable for results. Mike Bloomberg knows how to leave to build to deliver to do. He'll win and unite this country. Mike will get things done. I'm Mike Bloomberg candidate for president. And I approve this message because we need to deliver on the promise of the American Dream. Paid for by Mike Bloomberg Twenty twenty more now. The rift between president trump and his attorney. General William Borrow over the president's tweets and re tweets about the Justice Department are senior justice correspondent. Evan Perez. Joining us. Now what are you learning first of all about the state of bars relationship with the president? Well well if I think Bill Bar always thought. Oh He's the only the latest of the cabinet members of the of this president who thought they could manage him that they could be sort of the adults in the room. Who could help manage where the president goes clearly is not so and I think dot realization has kinda come Come DOWN ON BILL BAR like a ton of bricks in the past week or so you can tell. He's very frustrated with the tweets and the commentary that the president has made even despite bar telling him publicly and privately that this is a huge problem for the department. It's a huge problem for the Attorney General today at the Department You had officials behind the scenes trying to reassure officials employees. Rather that the attorney Joe is not going anywhere that he is not going to resign that he plans to stick around Plans to go through some of the plans that they have in place. And so we'll see wolf whether this relationship can survive. What is clearly a very tense period? As yet specifically bill Burr. The other day that if the president continues to make these statements and these tweets it would make his job as the attorney. General impossible to go forward in the president has since then continued to make these statements and to continue to tweet and re tweet and very very lively fashion. Let's talk about the wikileaks.

Mike Bloomberg knows how to lead to build to deliver to do. He'll win in unite this country. Mike will get things done. I'm Mike Bloomberg candidate for president. And I approve this message because we need to deliver on the promise of the American Dream. Paid for by Mike Bloomberg. Twenty twenty on the heels of team. Lebron winning the all-star game and Kawhi Leonard. Earning the all star. Mvp All the festivities are behind us and now the real hell begins the push for the playoffs where we know all eyes will be on the city of angels. The Lakers are I in the West. At Forty One and twelve. The Clippers are third at thirty seven and eighteen. Let's take a closer look at the two men vying for the title King of La Cou. Why outscoring Lebron this season. James has shifted his focus to more of a point guard role leading the League in assists per game. Availability has been a big subject. Is Lebron missed? Just two games this season to CO wise thirteen. Max Kellerman. You're up. I Will Lebron have a bigger impact than Kawhi down the stretch. No of course not look down your talk talk about the rest of this season. Okay the rest of this season. Include the playoffs. We're both these teams are heading. We're both these men are heading the play offs. Let's talk about leverage is a regular season game in Cleveland or a home game against some bottom feeding western conference team. That game that Lebron is available for him and may help his team win. Is that the same thing as a playoff game or a second round playoff game or a conference finals. Game World Finals game because Leonard is likely to play quite Leonard and Lebron James will certainly be there. As long as they're healthy they're teams will be there. The question is what do they do once? They're there in other words when they games really can't well all the games count. No they'll here's a regular season game that counts. You have the kind of team. It's young whatever you know. They really need home court. If there's a regular season game that may count. If you win it will help you for home court advantage in the first or second round of the place. That's a high leverage game. I don't know how many more of those in the regular season Lebron will play. I play a lot in the postseason in the playoffs. So then you ask yourself. How did these guys perform under pressure? Not In the Steven A. Lebron at his best was better than we'll ever be likely not in the future. So that right now when Kawais in his prime he's the reigning and defending finals. Mvp He's a two-time finals MVP. He this year has played in three high profile games. Opening Day Against Lebron James Smoked of and his team. One Christmas against Lebron jeans smoked them in his team and the All Star game where he won. Mvp In each instance. He was the best player on the floor. That will continue as it did all last playoffs. All last season during the playoffs is always the best guy on the floor. He's going to be the best guy on the floor all this year during the playoffs when the Games matter much much more for the rest of the way. We'll have a bigger impact. You're wrong because you're looking at it wrong. You're thinking about the to play in their requisite skill sets and what you think. Why brings to the table at this stage point in his career? You're looking at them as individuals you're not looking at their teams. The fact of the matter is the other day would lou. Williams came off the bench and dropped thirty five Montrose. Herro came off the bench and dropped twenty. Four Marcus. Morris has been acquired by them and he's been inserted into the mix. Paul George Goes Down with a hamstring injury. But he's expected to be back so collectively speaking Kawhi Leonard may not be asked to do all those things that he's fully capable of doing in order for the clippers to be successful. Meanwhile everything is riding on the shoulders of Lebron James for the Los Angeles Lakers if Lebron James. Does it bring his a game? The Lakers ain't going to the finals. It's that simple. They need him. Desperately other than Anthony Davis who do you have? Definitively that Yuki rely upon. We just that he over a week ago and lamented the fact that because they didn't acquire derrick rose before the free trading deadline because they didn't acquire somebody like Dennis. Rader they have now been left to depend on. Rajon Rondo to come into the game when Lebron James is out so they can continue to run their offense with fluidity. That's what you need. You're hoping that Danny Green shows up and doesn't appear moving forward to have lost a step. You can take his call. Well Pope what is he going to give me power? What will again Lakers locked into one? Seat then Lebron take. You can take his foot off the pedal. But what I'm saying is as it pertains to this question. Will Lebron have a big Dinka Wa? I think he will because he has to. There's no you. Don't you can literally get away with a wildland being above average. And that is and you're fine clippers candid. I'm talking about the regular season. I'm talking about moving forward for the rest of the season before the playoffs begin. You literally need abroad. James to be Lebron James. Moving forward you have to. You have no choice. I disagree with that. The Lakers have a better record They've been excellent against good teams. Have been excellent or you just have been excellent and meantime. Paul George is dealing with nagging injuries. Like again the same leg in fact. I think the clippers need but stephen you once told me something Jordan said as it relates to a game something that Michael Jordan said about in a game and you just mentioned that Lebron if he doesn't bring his a game what was that the Jordan said Jordan was in the elevator and Scottie. Pippen was clap and talking about all right all right Gaza point. Let's go bring you bring your egg when you're egging joining like a game. How Bring Game? How about that does bring a game? That's a great advocate games. All the broad the Lakers without Lebron. It's hard for them to bring a game. That is true and the clippers are more capable of bringing a game without Kawhi. But you're sort of penalizing Kawai for being on a deeper team. In fact Lebron has a crime partner in ad where the reason that team is as successful as they are and Lebron's playing out of his mind no doubt about it. They've to top five players. You almost it's almost impossible to have to is as good as Lebron and eight team and not be Juggernaut so yeah look Ron has to do his point. No doubt about it. If we're talking about the entire rest of the way why gives you as a premium is? You're GonNa win a championship because you have him. That's the difference when the Games meaning the most. He's consistently the best player on the floor. Tried out the Greek Freak Kohaku this semester on the four. Look at this consistency from. I love Kawhi Leonard but bottom line is last. Year was the year that he did it with all this consistency. You Act like a white linen has been winning three four five championships. He's been in the finals every year. He's done XYZ. That's not the case Kawhi Leonard Championship when he was not even a secondary option. He was a defensive. Was it no doubt about it so he was a finals. Mvp because of his defensive prowess years ago against Miami but then came back a year. Two years later and Kevin Durant. Okay see smoked. He showed.

"And that really should alarm the American people the Attorney General William Bar said you gotta take everything that comes out of Ukraine with a huge grain of salt. Because so much disinformation this information is there so he says they have a process over there at the Justice Department to review any of these things before they move on what we're seeing here though wolf is as as he called an intake process in the field. That's what he called it. That's not the regular kind of acceptance of tips or information it is a pipeline and a back channel for Rudy Giuliani. What should bar do if Rudy Giuliani? The former mayor of New York a former. US Attorney the Southern District of New York. Says I've got information I'd like to share with you. What should do you should do? What Lindsey Graham suggested and direct rudy? Giuliani to intelligence officials. Lindsey Graham said that he should go to the intelligence committee but not use it in effect to establish a special pipeline for Rudy Giuliani to create this kind of opposition research for the benefit of the president the deputy director of the FBI wooden say whether there's some sort of open investigation into the Biden's That's protocol but do you accept that when when he refused to say whether or not. There's any open investigation his job and I had that responsibility when I was a federal law enforcement prosecutor as United States turned in Connecticut is to neither confirm nor deny but in this instance. I think that it's pretty clear that the reports about lawbreaking by the Biden's have been completely debunked and discredited. And he should say talk. You expect more firings to come from the president now. We saw what happened Friday. Night With Lieutenant Colonel Alexander Vitamin Gordon Sunland the US ambassador to the EU expect Beck more individuals to be fired. This president's pretty unpredictable in his personal vengeance. which is what happened to lieutenant colonel? Benjamin and his brother contended colonel. Women came forward in response to a congressional subpoena to tell the truth. He's a decorated combat veteran and he assured his father if you remember in that movie moment when he testified we're not in the Soviet Union. Dad Right matters here truth matters here but he was escorted in a highly humiliating way and really disgusting. You're one of his friends l'ancienne today he wasn't even say goodbye to his friends his colleagues that he had been working Over the National Security Council with Chuck Schumer the Democratic leader in the Senate minority leaders calling on all federal inspectors general to investigate retaliation allegation against witnesses. Come before Congress who have been subpoenaed and then testify truthfully You think that's a good idea. I think the inspector generals should investigate any any and every report of retaliation or revenge. which clearly was what happened when the president fired ineffective attending Colonel Vitamin or transferred transferred him in that way but equally important we need to strengthen the laws that protect whistleblowers and the kind of dedicated patriots who come forward with truth and speak it to power in the way? We kind of colonel women you heard. What senator Lindsey Graham? Your Republican colleague suggested these the chairman of the Judiciary Committee accusing Vitamin and other various officials at the CIA the FBI the Justice Department of having this vendetta going after the president of the United States. So what do you you think there's no vendetta here. The attempt to link him to the deep state or to some kind of conspiracy theories absolutely absurd. And I think that these kinds of theories linking patriots like Colonel Vitamin A disservice to the the Patriots who come forward but also to the brave public servants who work every day and those intelligence agency put their lives on the line all across the globe so that we it can be safer and I believe by the way that there needs to be reform of the Pfizer. Court I advocated it under President Obama because there need to be checks imbalances. So it's not as if the film is totally flawless or perfect but we need to approach it with the kind of respect for truth that Colonel Kinman demonstrators. And let's not forget. Those ten Colonel Venda decorated Iraq war veteran who was wounded in Iraq still has some shrapnel in his body for that. Thanks very much senator. Senator Blumenthal of Connecticut up next the knives come out is the Democratic presidential candidates stumped votes. Just ahead of tomorrow's New Hampshire primary and get this. There's a new national poll. That shows a very dramatic shakeup in the Democratic race. We'll discuss all the developments with the chairman of the Democratic Party. There seem Tom Perez. He studied by. How do you judge someone not by what they say by what they do? We're a nation of doers. What's Mike Bloomberg about doing things? A middle class kid worked his way through college and Entrepreneur Bloomberg built a global news and information business business from scratch mayor of a diverse progressive sitting Mike Bloomberg rebuilt after nine eleven creating nearly five hundred thousand jobs improving health care and public school so now he's running for president and Mike's the change. We need from chaos to steady leadership from lies to someone who believes in facts and data from divisiveness to someone who builds teams nurtures good ideas and hold himself accountable for results. My Bluebird knows how to leave to build to deliver favor to do. He'll win unite this country. Mike will get things done. I'm Mike Bloomberg candidate for president. And I approve this message because we need you to deliver on the promise of the American Dream Paid for by Mike Bloomberg Twenty Twenty on the eve of New Hampshire's first-in-the-nation presidential primary. Hey Mary new. Nationwide poll shows that dramatic shakeup in the Democratic presidential race. Let's go to our political director. David challenges on the ground for US in Manchester David. This this is one poll but it does suggest that there's been some major momentum shift in the race it is one poll. I'll be eager to see other national. Polls that come Mount Wolf but there's a new sheriff in town nationally in this race and it's Bernie Sanders The Guy who performed quite well in Iowa last week who may be on the precipice. epistle victory here in New Hampshire. Take a look at the numbers. And you'll see he's at a twenty five percent in this poll. Joe Biden is no longer according to this poll. The National Front runner in this race and this is fascinating. Look who's in third place. It's Michael Bloomberg at fifteen percent This is what three hundred and fifty fifty million dollars of advertising gets you. It gets you from going to zero in November when he gets in to fifteen percent now. This is his second pole to qualify for that Nevada debate stage next week. Perhaps we'll have a couple more and perhaps Michael Bloomberg will be joining the debate stage. Well we're going to talk about that with the chairman of the DNC shortly in another part of this poll is eye-catching that evolves support among African American voters. What are you seeing Wolf as you know? There is no path for anyone to the Democratic nomination without substantial support from African Americans. It is the very base of the Democratic Party and take a look. Joe Biden has really taken a dive here just a month ago in January in this poll among African Americans he was up at like forty nine nine forty seven percent if you will that has been sliced nearly in half and it is because of Michael Bloomberg's appeal among African Americans. Take a look at these numbers. He's now at twenty two percent. Michael Bloomberg is among African Americans. Joe Biden went from forty nine to twenty seven percent. So that's why you see Michael Bloomberg overall sitting at fifteen percent nationally because he is carving a huge slice of Joe Biden's base of support with African Americans into his own camp. This is this one poll and again in ease one poll. Let's see other polls and see if this is confirmed specially after we get results in New Hampshire here tomorrow night but if this is indicative of the shape of the race this race is entirely reshuffled the Quinnipiac University poll is respected indeed. But you're absolutely right. Let's see what's up other polls are showing David Chalian in New Hampshire for us. Thank you joining us now. Here in the Situation Room Democratic National Committee chairman. Tom Perez. Thanks so much control your time. Of course we're both from Buffalo New York bills allies. Tom Polls especially the fact that Bloomberg is is doing as well as well. I think it's important to remember that this is a marathon. It's not a sprint We have Had One primary one caucus forty one delegates allocated located We will continue to see a lot of activity. What excites me? Is that the energy out there. Across America's very real people understand the need to defeat Donald Trump. They're organizing everywhere. I think we have a deep bench of candidates and what everybody understands is at the end of the day.

"So glad to have you with us in ninety minutes news lots come in here on. NFL average getting started one of the biggest stories of the off season revolves around a new deal for Jack. Clock DOC is ticking on signing Prescott a long term contract extension after all. They need him in the mix right from the jump to learn. Mike McCarthy's offensive system. Yesterday yesterday cowboys Vice President Steven Jones said of Dak St L.. We want to get this done. Things are fixing the heat up. WanNa put every foot forward and try to grind this Out and get a deal done. All of that sounds urgent. It is as we dive into the NFL. Live Notebook Dan. What can you tell us about getting a deal done? They tried to get a deal done last summer. They weren't able to get to his number. He was willing to play out the season on a two million dollar contract. And so that no good for him. Leverage average might shift towards him a little bit but the leverage the cowboys have is they can put the franchise tag on him if they can't get a deal done by March eighteen. They can keep him off the market so he knows that and they we know that and they'll continue to work toward a deal but make them very highly paid quarterback once it gets done. The question is when and whether they have to go through the process of that franchise tag to get there. And then when you franchise somebody we've seen a year in year out. There becomes maybe a little bit of tension between them the Knicks team. You want him to be there for OTAS and minicamp. You don't want him to sit. Is it out. So it's GonNa be interesting moving forward if they do use that franchise tag because guess. What as a quarterback that is the franchise quarterback for that team? He wants to be paid. So it'll be interesting to see what happens moving forward. I don't think the franchise tag necessarily is a good thing for the relationship between deck and the and the cowboys don't often see the quarterback hold out though it'd it'd be kind of unprecedented and I think the cowboys might be counting on that a little bit or at least maybe wanting to see if he's willing to go that far before they go ahead and bridge that gap what a setback back would be a big deal next topic. NFL PA held a meeting yesterday. Talk about a new. CBA What are you hearing about that. Look they're in serious. Talks is a proposal on the table that the owners and players have worked on for about eight nine months now and it involves seventeen or the ability of the owners to expand the season season from sixteen games to seventeen games at some point over the life of the deal. Players met yesterday try and discuss whether they would go for this. There are players who have been publicly outspoken about the seventeen eighteen games. It's something they do not want to do under any circumstances so what they had to figure out yesterday and what they have to figure out an upcoming meetings. Is there something we can go back to the owners and ask fourth forth. That might make it worth it then might justify seventeen games at some point is it. Is it increased. Share revenue is improvements in off season program requirements. These the discussions the players are having whether they wanna go for this or not if they decide seventeen games a non starter then the whole thing could go back to square one but if they decided something they can work with if they're getting enough other stuff in the deal and we could have something done in the next few weeks months if they add another game they're gonNA have to add to the roster. I mean that's my take on this thing. You can't have had fifty three guys. You gotta go to sixty you gotTA help the team. As far as injuries are concerned. So I remember the lockout even though we didn't have a lockout but the last TV there is a potential lockout and owners understand that they have the upper hand here with the whole discussion here. The players don't WanNa have a lockout the owner's lockout so there's going to have to be some give and take here and I do not think that adding a game is going to help the players situation. I know they want to add the revenue into that but at the same time we've seen it year in year out guys get injured. That's her career so I don't think adding game is going to help. A player at all. Clock is ticking. A little bit on this because both sides want it done before the start of the league year because their stuff in the deal that they both want to be able to take advantage of. That would be new rules governing the off season so they can't get it done by then then I think things might slide into next off season and nobody wants that now. Also also in the News Ram Safety. Eric announced his retirement after thirteen years. How does this impact? LA's plans this off season. They brought in Weta last year because they needed needed to replace some veteran leadership that was going out the door the replacement for him. My understanding is that it's GonNa be Taylor rap. who was a rookie last year? And I think you know. They're gonNA go young in the secondary secondary when they traded for Jalen Ramsey last season. I remember talking to rams GM and talking about how much it was going to cost assigned Jalen Ramsey. And he said this is the kind of player you you do pay him and then he he can kind of go with lesser cost options younger options in the secondary because he makes everybody that much better. So we're going to start to see them. Start to count on on that and I doubt they'll go out and sign a veteran to replace Eric Weddell yet look the stats speak for themselves. Two hundred ten games thirteen years six time pro bowler beard beard out. I mean he got me beat right now. He had a great beer to his luxury. Looked beautiful luxurious. Look I played with Stephen Gregory and they played together other with the chargers and he would always tell me that he was like the quarterback on the football field for that defense so he was always smart in the right position in the right place getting everybody lined up so you're definitely going to lose some of that leadership the rams are because of the fact that when you have a guy out there that is always in the right place at the right time and when I said two hundred ten games played you can count on his reliability to be there. I think that that is very important when you have a leader on the football team so not only leave but beyond the football field. I'm not missing games due to injury and he's been very very reliable endurable his career beard out there leader and each spot yeah Hashtag. You didn't do beard. Beard trimmed it for him his to never as curry. How do you judge someone not by what they say by what they do? We're a nation of doers. What's Mike Bloomberg about doing things? "Winning the Super Bowl title. That eventually did that. It's unbelievable thing in moment at that. We all watch thinking. Perhaps this could be a major issue for Kansas City for them to be productive to win games. Without Patrick Mahomes the best player in the league wind up being the of the big growth moment to get them to this point is is exceptional to hear our Eric the enemy and all these interviews since the Super Bowl because we don't hear from them that much I mean weekly we do if you're the local media but you don't and I find him to be so intelligent and interesting and insightful Just in terms of you know from around the League and the respect that he's gotten from calling this offense. What are you here well? This is a crowning moment. This season for the enemy. He's seven head coaching interviews in two years and I got a chance to speak with him recently. He doesn't WanNa talk about that but he wanted to talk about how even last year when they lost a New England he told those guys in the locker room savor this moment. How you feel right now you feel uh-huh crummy we're going to translate that to next year and we're going to build some perseverance and they're gonNA get through it and so he tried to set a tone? He went through this with Andy Reid. He knows he's in a great. It's bought and he told me. Look I have the most coach quarterback in the League and Patrick Mahomes. He said he can get into his a s and everything is still good personally. Yes yes sir. No Sir and it was funny. I talked to his agent. Brian Levy. Who told me that next year when he goes into his interviews? He's GonNa have the fat ring they're going to have to look at. I loved that. And it's and it's true and and and it has to change the market for him. You have to figure at this point. What else can he do at this point to get the attention that he can do this? And you know I I look forward to seeing where he winds up landing. Because I have a feeling that there's going to be a lot of people call in so I hope you guys love looking at parade video. Do It's very hard to host the show because I keep wanting to see this year. Yeah exactly I want to see what trump is Kelsey is wearing. WanNa see if he's going to try to beat out his brother but there's they've they've come a long way this season but after losing the Super Bowl. Where do they go now how they appear to be built for success well into the future but the last five? NFC champions have yet to make it back to the conference championship game. Think about that. The rams remember they burst onto the scene in two thousand eighteen thirteen and three record in the super bowl showdown against the pats. They went nine and seven this past season placing third in a tough. NFC West Division. The Eagles they struggled we saw them get bounced back to back the last two years. Then the Falcons left the Super Bowl fifty one with that bad taste in their mouth and since then they've made the playoffs just once losing to the eventual super bowl with the eagles and for the Panthers also may just one playoff appearance since their super bowl run and even worse they finished last in the NFC south twice in. That's Batman this has. It's nothing but bad news and then the sea hawks have had maybe the best success of the group making the playoffs four times since their super bowl appearance in two thousand fourteen but like the others they had yet yet to advance past the divisional round. So I really think we can say the moral of the story is it is so hard to get back after you've had so much excess. After one season so coach staying with this negative attitude that we have here. You are somebody who has coached since three super bowls. You've lost three you. You want one right though shoot. Sorry coach Burn approve here. You're on the losing side. That rope comes up pretty well. You're you're are champ here. I think that that being said though so you you hear this would easy about the next season that makes it so difficult to get back there or big. It's really it's it's tough on either side. I mean being able to repeat what Kansas City is going to be facing but Especially in the. NFC You look at that and really sense. Seattle people have really struggled. There's not been a dominant team in the NFC a little bit like there has been in the AFC just like with. The Patriots has done over the last decade so there is a little bit of a popcorn affected the NFC last year it was the rams this year shoot. Same Division is the forty niners. So the really isn't that dominant team in the NFC. So it makes it that much harder and mentally tough. I mean the season's shorter all of a sudden a month behind everybody. It all your decision making and everything you do That that hangover takes. I want to get rid of. Yeah and I think sometimes we overlook it and our fans here and they think that's just a bunch of Baloney but it's really a it's a real thing when you talk to coaches and players about about what that's like the next season after either coming off a win or a loss so losing team here Adam. You know. There's some coaching staff. UPDATES actually already. What do we know what could possibly be happening? Both sides of the ball Diana the defensive side of the ball the forty niners are prepared to lose Joe Woods to the Cleveland. Browns Joe Woods has been their defensive backs ax coach. He's poised to become the Cleveland browns defensive coordinator. That's something. The forty niners have expected for a few weeks. Now no surprise there and on the offensive side of the football bowl. They're passing game coordinator Microflora. The brother of the Green Bay packers coach Mala floor. He'd been working on an expiring contract. But during the postseason he signed A contract extension with the team and so the forty niners really will be retaining their offensive staff. They'll lose Joe Woods from the Defense of staff and we'll see what direction they decide to go to replace him but the losses should be minimal considering that they were the NFC champ and advance to the Super Bowl. Adam thanks so much for that Germany any anything else that you're hearing coming out. Addison Francisco and in terms of this coaching staff. Any other changes that you think. Yeah so like most of the staff is going to stay in place. The only wildcard here Joe Woodsy might try to bring one guy with them. Maybe Chris Kiffin. WHO's their pass rush specialist but I see seahawks light a little bit as far as sustainability? I mean this is a really good roster most of the front seven coming back a few defensive pieces they have to resign. But you know you have Kyle Shanahan. Who's really considered the best play caller in the entire league when you talk to Around other teams and they just they need an outside receiver like number one other. The consistency is so important for teams to continue building and continue working on what the ultimate goal is going to be. You've been on teams before the have had to make changes every every season. How difficult is it when you have to make those changes compared to when when you can stick with the guys you got continuity really helps a lot every year in the national football really why? It's so hard to carry on. Success is as you develop different personality. It could be on your coaching staff. Could be in your locker room on offense or defense Just on stay the same anymore with free agency and how competitive it is so you know how fast you can reestablish that and the fewer changes you can make better off you are changes. Change is not good situations. Yeah yes exactly. How do you judge someone not by what they say by what they do? We're a nation nation of doers. What's my Bloomberg about doing things? A middle class kid worked his way through college and Entrepreneur Bloomberg built a global news and information business this from scratch mayor of a diverse progressive city. Mike Bloomberg rebuilt after nine eleven. Creating nearly five hundred thousand jobs improving health care and public schools schools. Now he's running for President and Mike's the change. We need from chaos to steady leadership from lies to someone who believes in facts and data from from divisiveness to someone who builds teams nurtures good ideas and hold himself accountable for results. Might Bloomberg knows how to leave to build to deliver into. He'll win tonight. This country Mike. We'll get things done. I'm Mike Bloomberg candidate for president. And I approve this message because we need to to deliver on the promise of the American Dream Paid for by Mike Bloomberg Twenty twenty. That's right the XFL kick things off on Saturday with two games first Seattle in D. The clock eastern on ABC followed by L. A. and you said at five o'clock Eastern. So he missed football lucky for you because the new league is getting started ended and we now welcome in Oliver Luck the CEO and Commissioner of the XFL. And you know we know that this league is all about quality football for the for the love of the game this week. Well I love the fact that a new league is being created in the unbelievable entrepreneurial. Spirit that permeates this country Vince. McMahon of course our founder and our visionary He's put up the resources. He's allowed me to go out and hire some great head coaches to sign some really good football players. Were playing in great stadiums. What I love most about it? You can come to a game with a ticket twenty dollars twenty dollars sitting the lower bowl at metlife life or at centurylink Field Seattle. Any of our great venues. So something fun UPTEMPO football. Who can be upset about having more football any the time when there really isn't any yeah and not only? Is there not a time for life football right now but it's just so expensive to any sporting event on any level so to here's that it's that cheap to just get your family together and just go ahead out and watch good football with some great players out there. One of the biggest questions. I think the people want to know is how. How does this work in terms of the differences and the similarities to the NFL? What what's been response to that? So we basically took what is already a great great game professional football and we've added a couple of innovations that we think make just a little bit better so the game itself will very closely resemble what you see in the NFL. It's eleven on eleven for we're down same size field there's kickoffs and Cetera but we do have a few twists for example. I know you you you like this one as well You know you score a touchdown you get six points. That's great that's tradition. We all get that but our league. You have an option to go for one to go for two or to go for three. They're all plays from scrimmage no kicking from the extra point that's all strategy Diana that's all strategy and what are we as fans liked to do like the second guests. A coach in the decision coach makes so we've added some twists Within our game to make that fast paced UPTEMPO that fans tells they wanna see. I'm with you on that. That is one of my favorite changes to this Is there another ruled. All that when you immediately turned the game on that maybe a little jarring at first that you can think of well I think the only thing that will people will see as they as they begin to watch. Watch aside from the kickoff which is different kickoff visiting. It's safer but we think we'll get a lot of kickoff returns and fans tell us they liked kickoff returns. That's one of the most exciting plays football but the most consequential chain remade is the is the twenty-five second play clock Forty seconds in the national football league. Twenty five seconds in our league. Art Teams are going to have have to play fast but we've given them some technology to help them play fast. For example the coach calling the offensive plays is not just communicating with the quarterback who has an earpiece in his helmet. He's communicating with the entire skilled players. Offensively that around the field so that should help us. And we've tested this and training camp in our mini camps. That should help us play a good competitive football but with a good flow to and a lot of communication which I feel. I could be a good thing and a bad thing depending on how they're going to manage it which I'm interested to see how this work if it's if it's even worth having all that communication but again it could just add to. It's almost like playing madden really for for for the head. Coach's the point is that the communications not shut shut off when the ball is snapped which is incredibly smart head. Coach could continue to give.

Tom And I talked about the opportunity that they have. And don't squander it and if the opportunity they wouldn't get if they do I think that's the most important thing I think most guys if you put him in that position especially Bernarda guys looking at these young black guys. I don't tell them what's best for him and not look at it from the standpoint of You know this what you ought to do what they don't tell them what they should do. In order to stay with their franchise. Yeah that's what I do. Three or four guys on his team that I talked to all the time you know. There's been some situations that they can go wrong again. It's the flat arid plains of many automobile dashboard. The bobblehead it most agreeable and will not along to anything despite having no brain function but when the bobblehead here's how Geico not only saves people money but also gives them access to licensed agents twenty four seven online and over the phone. You're not even more vigorously. Because he knows you should switch because yes switching to gyco is a no brainer bladder easy you can get whiplash on everybody. Welcome back to I take Aikman you live from the Heineken river at pierce seventeen. Matt Barnes is in the building. Good to see you. In a match up of young stars Jaanus Lettuce Bucks to a win over Rookie Phenom uh-huh Zion Williamson and the Pelicans Zion delivered respectable twenty point effort but struggled from the field with a five for nineteen effort. Max what seen so far. Do you think the Pelicans can win. Title Having Zion as their number one you know like when he came out the whole question was a guy that height of that is he like Charles Barkley as you like Blake Griffin. Can you win an NBA title with a non Rim defending at least in terms of his height non back to the basket. Ask Power forward type as your best player really hasn't been done before the power forward to wonder. Tim Duncan who could play the four five Dirk Nowitzki who had one freaky year surrounded by shoes. And he's a freakish seven foot shooter but otherwise guys like Barkley and obviously I'm not putting Blake in the same category as Barkley but they can't be the best player on a championship team doesn't seem there's just the wrong body type can't be a two way wing really can't be appoint whatever could Zion do it. I think so far from what I've seen. The answer is yes. I would not say. He's disqualified from being the best player on a championship team. He's a willing passer. He has a high basketball. IQ He can can shoot it. He's calm he's not a pure shooter but he's shown the ability to knock down shots. He's calm and he takes it to the rack or he's going to be on on the free throw line all the time by the way he can defend the rim. Just not in a traditional way. I believe what I've seen. So far is one of the better Kinda on the spectrum of what he could have been as bro. It's on the side where you're like boy. That's about as good as we could have hoped for out the gate interesting that you say that I'm not going to disagree with you. Max what I'm going to say is I'm not sure I'm just going to confess openly. Tell you that I'm not sure. Here's the reason. Why for some reason for some reason? He's reminding me Of Barclay in terms of the Era Barkley was in in other words round mound rebound power play around the basket can do some things open court etcetera. But there's always somebody else awaiting that superior and when I saw him last night it gets Janas I was thinking those trees trees and Milwaukee. They'll stand your drum out those trees in La withstanding your way that 'cause everybody go be Houston going. Small taught up late small book. You get your points you get your rebound shooting fifty percent from the free throw line. Cihan shoe you in forty four percent fifty point range. That's the set of you know why. Because he's only attempted nine three pointers on the season. He hit four all of them was in in his first game. The last six games he has not made it three point shot. I'm looking at him and I'm saying he's going to be a star. He's got star written all all over him he's got no choking ain't scared he's a man plan amongst boys in terms of this physicality he's got the skill set Powell moves to the basket could put the ball on the floor. I need him to be a little bit more ambidextrous. I need in the show. A little bit of a perimeter game. I need him to shoot better for the free throw line and oh by the way I on the Griffin and Gentry to make sure and I'm not saying they're not doing it. I'm just speaking you know. Just just just ingest. You got to put the right pieces around them and you got a coach in a fashion. If you're jittery that plays to his strength as sort of veers away from his week this great. I'm so what do you believe that if those things you're done he could win a champion his problem the best player on the death. What I'm saying that's what I don't know? See that's where I'm going. I'm saying you I know he's GonNa be Great. Please don't get me wrong. Barkley was great eight. The question I'm asking. Can they win with you. Being number one option. I'm thinking you got to be a one. Hey one I'm just thinking I don't know but that's where I'm leaning similar. You know what I mean. I think we're seventy seven games into a nineteen eighteen year. Old Guy Injury coming off an injury. I think we all agree. If he'd been playing the full season. Probably be an all star. I just WANNA see him. Continues to grow What I will say though is if you take a look at where? Yana started when he came in. And whereas I on strike zone is light years ahead of where you honest says this is an MVP only four four years into his career. So I would say that. He's definitely on the right pace. The kid loves to work. He plays hard for everything you guys mentioned but I also agree with Steven aid. The key is putting the right pieces around him. Can he be a Jordan. Pippen type that kind of counterpart Batman Robin type to win a title. I think I don't know I know what you mean. The thing I unlovable Zion is he can get twenty points without Inter Inter Inter just out in transition. Whatever cleaning up around the boards? He doesn't need to be shocked. You'll throw the ball wall into or or design your offense around drunk. He could still be the best player on the team overall. Even if you have a guy who design if more please let me come both. y'All with this another name that I can bring up. Just because of the situation he presently is Iran is an Anthony Davis. Hear me out. Obviously Anthony Davis six ten. Six eleven dislike John. This is tall in all. Forget all of that for a second you can throw the ball and Anthony Davis now. He could be your number one option now but we all know to win. The Championship. Championship has got Lebron got to Lebron. I'm saying for eighty two game regular season science. Go ahead and do your thing but come playoff the off time. Even though he's a man in that low post even though he's a man in open court because of his game itself I need somebody preferably on on the perimeter. That's just as a significant action to beat. Act Number one option when you talk. It's too early one thousand nine hundred but I'm just talking stoller play because of the way he plays. I don't know if you WanNa Championship with that obsolete. So here's number one. Here's my question for you. Do you. Pair him ideally with a big or a win a win win. I think we're moving away from biggs. In general I think it's probably one of the last if you don't want to call them a dinosaur with big bill the ball to on the block. AB obviously but the freak is I mean like a guy who's close to seven feet who defend the Rim Kinda Guy. I don't know like I said he covers a lot of space out there. You know what I mean so like. I said it's going to take some time and being a player in this league and understanding that seven games and obviously but it takes a good the three or four years to understand how to play the NBA game of basketball. He's out there all raw talent energy and effort getting twenty seven thousand nine hundred seven and nine so so you give them another two three years to get stronger more agile find his body weight and has to remember you. You really answering your question. And because think just because he wasn't when you think about how many times and I've disagreed with Max on this. But his point is valid. He has been a fixed fixated fixated on embiid and Simmons. Don't work together with right and I don't necessarily agree with that. I think you've gotta work together the better off with his own. But what. I'm saying that you you think and I got to look at the coaching before I look at whether they worked together. All I'm saying to you is this but you feel this way about Simmons because because of what embiid takes away from them so my point to you is when you just ask them at that question when you're talking about a perimeter player when you're that in today's game you go that route as opposed to a rim protector in a library. Also you can get a guy like the Lopez you can get a competent big and you don't have to make that like where you put all your reasons. You surround them with quality quality parameter placate. What I think is interesting about the Pelicans is because they had to move they gotTa Hall of Young Players All around Zion's agent? We all know this is the truth matter what anyone wants to say. The the Pelicans are on the clock they got five outside chance six seasons to win a championship. No major free agents go sign down there because in the history of the NBA. Nothing like that has ever had us. That's right that's okay that is do they have enough in terms of talent. Even if it's not these exact guys guys who could become trade pieces for do they have enough to grow grow with Zion and win a chip in the next six seasons. I think they have a lot of pieces. They're going to need to add a lot of the utilize pieces. I Love David Griffin. Though what he's come in and don't already have a good good a young solid core so I think everyone's so much we got to get it done now. We gotta get sports..

"This is a pick em style game. No question about it. It's going into the game. I can't remember a better match. The Super Bowl and San Francisco has been wire to wire the best team in the NFL like the Ravens were the flavor of a month or two and everyone thought that maybe they know the niners have been the best team in the NFL. Stephen it you talk about all the layers you have to get to before you get to Jimmy G.. That's because Shanahan's just trying to win games but when Jimmy has been called upon to win games and when San Francisco's had to score especially the New Orleans game with home field in the playoffs. Maybe the reason they are here. They'd have to go to Lambo on the line Jimmy G. made the play that got them there kill but the bottom line was they scored forty something. Don't think points that day there to score orgy and they did it. I'm not worried about San Francisco scoring San Francisco. Who's going to score with them? They should win the Super Bowl. But I'm not going to pick 'em because Patrick Mahomes is different. It's not it's not anything. It's not a lack of faith than I have in. Jimmy tremendous faith in them. What I think of Aaron Rogers in his prime the other side of that they could do everything right? Not just the defense aunt Rogers and he makes a wrong. The other quarterback could do everything right and have herod's but when Rogers had the ball in his hand he could do things the other guy simply couldn't and mahomes can do things. Listen carefully no one. Who ever lived can do? He's Brett Farve with a higher. I Q he's Aaron Rodgers with a little more zip on the ball. He's just just different. Andy's his prime. Now let me say this. The niners are not great at getting to the quarterback on first and second down they are not third down a different story first and second down. Don't get to the quarterback by the way they're not great in the red zone. Patrick is going to be a high scoring super bowl. I don't see the niners stopping mahomes at all the questions. Going to come down to the chiefs. Defense Stop Jimmy G.. I think they can in the moment of truth but even if he comes through Mahomes can take it to a higher level. Kansas City will hold holdout Miami. Kid We get to the break. It down for us who you got. You know two instances in recent history where I can remember you had dynamic offense against a really really good defense one of them. I played in nineteen ninety. Nine the greatest show on turf. Kurt Warner doc is a Bruce Tori. Hope Marshall Faulk. They can't be stopped. We shut them down to twelve points in Tampa in the NFC championship game. And we did it really simple. They said the Tampa two defense was old and antiquated and it can't deliver anymore. You know what we did. We did really simple. We hit them in the mouth and we made them play Football Kansas City. He wants to play basketball on grass. They WANNA be the Golden State Warriors. They WANNA pass and get up and down to Florida up temple game we gotta remember football at its. Core is a collision collision sport. The second time remember the Seattle seahawks against the Denver broncos peyton manning had thrown for seven thousand touchdowns they went into that game. And unstoppable offense who won that Game Max Maxwell when they gave Seattle seahawks won that game because defense still dominate in steel. Wins I'm going with the San Francisco. Forty niners because I think when it's all said it done when it's all said and done you right. Kansas City will move the Footba but I think that defense will make enough stops and I just believe in the system that system of defense and that style of Defense Seattle now in San Francisco and by the way. The city has faced similar defense this year against the chargers advantage. RUN ON CISCO GET HERE ON FITS. They ran the ball. You know who casey just stopped Stephen Nick Chase just Derek battery off the likes of which we've never seen Moore let me respond to that. Max Kellerman. I don't think that's a fair assumption. Because we wanted to be con- Derrick Henry yesterday we didn't want to get into it too much. But we all know he was a one. Man Wrecking crew. Aj Brown has tremendous has promised a tremendous talent. But he's a rookie wide receiver Ryan Tannehill just decided to show up and be a quarterback this year in the national football league. Okay let's understand the San Francisco. Forty niners are different. They're different animal altogether from position to position. You can knock it down the offensive line protects their quarterback their quarterback. ACAS somebody that you raised about in terms of what his capabilities are when you highlight what he did. It gets New Orleans and a few other teams this year. They're running game doubt top to run a game football pau. deebo Samuel is a start Emmanuel. Sanders might be the best pickup this season when they acquired him about seven or eight games into the season. George Kid A. We've had a debate whether it's him or Travis Kelsey in terms of the ability at tight end at whether or not they're the best in a game and oh by the way how was George Kimble utilized in in the postseason. What they did is they launched him up and made him into a elite edge? Block is well which buffered their running game and so when you take that into consideration ration- just on that alone will cost him and his Daddy. Mike Shanahan who is a two-time super bowl champion who was helping the sun out take into consideration and what you're looking at is an offense that has the ability dislike McFarland said to part union mouth. Ram It down your throat make it a far more physical game that you want. And we ain't even we get to the defense their ability to get to the quarterback or their abilities in the secondary aspect of check. That he's going to miss. Phil can I just you say really quick before we go to break I am also going with the niners huge Al's Roberts paving the way for Air Americans the first Muslim coach in the NFL. He doesn't get enough credit huge props to him and what he's doing the defensive coordinator there. How do you judge someone not by what they say by what? They do. The Nation of doers. "Be celebrated that way if if this happened in his eight hundred eighteenth year playing basketball. But it's amazing and it's great that it happened after because we got the Kobe the midst or we got to see Kobe. Bright the husband. We got to see Kobe. Bryant the father and early on in the week it was about what was his basketball legacy. Today we get to talk about. What is his legacy as a man? The things that he begin to do began to do once. Basketball was over a passion that I thought I would never see matched in anything else in life. He matched it in retirement. He matched it with his passive for his family for his girls for his wife. And for everyone else and he he lost his life doing something something that all of us and a lot of us do every day which is taking care of people we love and I think it's beautiful. It's beautiful as it is said is beautiful the phone but that's what makes it hurt so much because if you know him and to see the transition that took place people. People don't realize that Kobe Bryant mentally emotionally over so many years as a player felt somewhat imprisoned because he was constantly constantly having to live up or exceed expectations. He did it and then when it stopped when he was playing when he had fulfilled those expectations and it was over his life belong to him and so from that point forward he was free to give back. He was free to express the spouses words of wisdom. That helped so many people to me. What makes me so sad at him? Being gone not just for his family but as it pertains to him is that to know him to know is to know how much more not only that he had to give but was willing to give any had so much time to do it because he was only only forty years old. What what I what I? There's a song that comes. They play on Christmas a lot. Have yourself a merry little Christmas. And if you hear this lyric feel the same way about your late brother Stephen a foot I think of my brother Sam when the lyric comes on through the years as we all will be together if the fates allow and I wish the fates would have allowed Kobe and all of us of course but with this makes me think of especially elite. Is His family no question. Let's continue to uplift them with the power of prayer and obviously respect their privacy. Because that's all we can do. How do you judge someone not by what they say by what they do? We're a nation of doers. What's my Bloomberg about doing things? I've decided we should switch to GEICO. Sounds good to me. We could save hundreds of dollars on her car insurance. which now just guy in here we can reinvest those funds into my business idea? not this again. I get some investors on board. Nobody is going to invest in dental floss. Made of Turkey jerky okay. Not with that attitude. Wow GEICO fifteen minutes could save you percent or more Cleveland's compels the niners at all those down down Koets here a man that needs no introduction Chris Steve Harvey. Let's go to clean this whole tail. Usually Stephen is the fashion police. But this is what money looks like. I mean absolutely. I saw your shoes dress. I can't take unreal a war this to honesty for being one of the best dress sports. Caster but Max Kellerman this boxing knowledge in his dressing skill. Gill has risen considered and I must honored and all this is put together by one of the most knowledgeable graceful women on on all of television. Oh my gosh skates. Here's your grace's amazing. Thank you we are going to get into all that good stuff with you in just the moment. But he's going to debate us. I know I told you Stephen a right makes you WANNA step your game up there unreliable. Okay cash money cash money. Stevens is not bad. I'll start with you even as checking himself out films Galvao Miami who can least afford a bad super bowl easily. Patrick should mahomes because mahomes never had a bad game in his career. You would assume some point at some time. Someone's going to have a bad professional performance. Mahomes never for has he's only he's gone from like excellent to the best we've ever seen in somewhere in between weekend and week out. The cheese can't win if Patrick Mahomes has has an off day and the niners have one of the best defenses in the league. Have One of the best chances to have them have an off day. I just don't see it but that's the Dude Jimmy G.. He can be less than his best self. If the niners defense balls out you know they can still potentially win. If Patrick mahomes decides to have a bad performance for the first time it's a rather than the person who can least afford the person who can least afford to have a bad super bowl is Richard. Sherman here is interesting first of all patch. Patrick Mahomes Patrick mahomes football. He is throwing to all world world receivers tyreek Hill. McColl Hartmann is no joke. Sammy Watkins is not true. Okay we get all of that but it was Richard Sherman who was in the news recently recently being called out by the great derail Rivas who basically challenged them and said you just zone in. You're going to have to man up in this particular particular Super Bowl because you've got a bunch of great receivers that you're going up against and we go see what you got. Because I've traveled. I did what I needed to cover. Nobody right side left side spot it. It didn't matter that's what a corner. Dion Sanders Brahms. Tom Degraded ever lamented. The fact that you had God that that position going out going I went after each other verbally and I totally agree with him. I don't think it was right for the real reebus to call out Richard Sherman like that but since he did and since we heard what he's A. Hey now you're Richard Sherman who basically was in a press conference before the railway was called them out talking about how I've done this. I've done that. I locked down. People interceptions completion percentage against me is pretty low. These are all the things that I've done. Who else is doing that now? GOING UP GETS MONSTERS IN THE SUPER BOWL coming coming for you because we know Kansas City ain't going to beat you running the football. It's going to be what Patrick Mahomes. Throwing the football. Richard Sherman cannot have a situation where we're looking at him and saying you got roasted in the Super Bowl that can happen. I don't believe it will happen because I believe that brother but that can't happen because if it happens pinch his reputation might be stayed to a degree. Well we're actually questioned hall of fame credentials. Not Me but people do that. You can't stop the passing game of Kansas City for four quarters. You can't do that. Somebody's GonNa get toasted somebody going to get the ankles. Broke somebody going to eat it. I don't want to I don't think Sherman's not having a good game is the worst thing can happen. I happen to agree with Max. I think Patrick Mahomes. You have to have a superb game because he is a Kansas City chief offers you can thank run somebody over there. They can help Sherman how he got. Have you know task somebody'll reputational. I think the one who can least afford it because that's where he doesn't have a great game reputational. It's Andy Reid Andy. Reid Jimmy J. Jay and no because Jimi to the Super Bowl. He had a good season. People can use that as a building block like he got there maybe he can win it going forward. He is on a good team. "VP and GM replacing. John Dorsey Eighty Berry who will become the youngest in the NFL. At thirty two years old returns to Cleveland after working for the organization from two thousand sixteen to two thousand eighteen. The browns sounds also hired thirty-seven-year-old Kevin Stefanski as their head coach earlier. This offseason so Max with higher are the browns any closer or are they farther away away from being super bowl. Champions Day closer they hired brains and by the way I let me state the obvious. I don't know if it's the lead but it's the obvious we have been talking talking a lot on the show Steven A.. You've been lamenting the scarcity of African American head coaches and general managers. Here's a general general manager and head of Football Operations African American Harvard graduate. My the way this is. This is a good higher. I believe first of all he he was involved in building up. The browns war-chest the reason. The Brown's got these star players. All the sudden is because Andrew Berry and de Pedestrian. These guys built updraft picks in this huge stash of this huge cache of resources. And then you bring in someone else to just pull the trigger John Dorsey all. I'm going to get this this guy. This guy this guy like a kid in a candy store shiny new toys. Same thing happened with Sam. hinkie in Hinky in Philadelphia the process that Stephen elements the the brains. Come in and build up all this potential energy you roll the rock up the hill. And then the kinetic energy is when you actually push it down I and it has that energy so here was Andrew Berry one of the people who rolled up the hill for the browns. And then Dorsey comes in. He's a football guy and he pushes it down this. This is the team. You got the reason. The reason Colangelo. And now Elton brand. Or Dorsey I look so good when they walk into. That situation is because they have so many resources. I almost can't look bad if they start pulling the trigger on deals we're going to acquire talent but what is it the right talent is it. The right fit today. Optimize the resources so that little phase is over. It didn't work now. They're bringing back into Harvard educated guy that helped build it up in the first place. That's a good sign. Well first of all when I'm of the mindset that they're further away not close but it's not because they're Andrew Berry first of all congratulations to this brother. I've been On this bandwagon for a long time MACs just articulated of the pause. The scarcity of African American coaches one problem but The the lack of African American executives goes a long way. I'm not sure if this is true if he were in Georgia that day but member Wind Colin Cabinet was scheduled. Did you to have that workout with the NFL. And I talked about how there were African Americans in the pipeline the become executives that showed up in attendance making my point that there were people there that were thoroughly interested in giving him an opportunity. I believe Andrew Berry was one of them but I'm not sure here's the reality of the situation. I'm very very happy for him. I wish him nothing but the Best Jimenez Defense he are incredibly young and bright. The problem is in order to clean up the mess that was made. They're going to have to make changes in the process of making those changes. They'll probably take a step back before taking two steps forward so in that regard you gotTa Remember Hassle Him. No owner took over twenty twelve. This is his fifth. GM GM coach combination since two thousand thousand twelve. Yeah I mean that's a I mean you don't see you've seen the steelers three coaches this sixty s this man is at a new coach and GM five five times in seven years. I don't know what the L. Adam is doing. But in this particular instance I love the high of and very personally will be rooting for this brother Stew to fans even though his last time we wasn't as most shining moment in that playoff game against San Francisco because he seems so predictable coordinator he wasn't he had had a year and give it to them. And I approve this message because we need to deliver on the promise of the the American Dream Paid for by Mike Bloomberg Twenty Twenty Waltham back to I take we are coming to you. Live from above the chase river deck at pier seventeen. I met Kobe at the very end of his career. I interviewed him during his final season. The farewell tour but I was able to develop a relationship with him after retirement retirement because of his genuine investment in women's basketball one time I saw coby and his daughter sitting courtside when Oregon women's basketball came to play USA IN LA and see. Kobe joke wouldn't you rather see your daughter play. Coast close to home at my Alma Mater Stanford instead of across the country at Uconn but her heart was set on Gino squad. gee-gee was a student of the game like her dad. A hardworking rapidly improving hooper. Who had come to the Oregon? USC game to see the Best Player in college basketball play. SABRINA UNESCO I want to be I asked. Would you join me for an interview during our broadcast and he graciously did he said I got you. It was in that interview that Kobe shared a message. About fulfilling one's potential. That will hold onto forever. Because he wanted us to know that Mama mentality transcends gender it transcends craft job trade all of that Mama mentality is for every every single one of us he said it's all about focus. I don't care who you are where you're from doesn't matter it's having a focus and having a purpose you wake up every single day to get better today than you were yesterday and it doesn't matter what you are basketball. All player hockey player golf player painter writer. It doesn't matter you try to reach your full potential by getting better every single day and that half the quest. Kobe was part of our family the USA basketball family and he helped create the culture that we were able to do it at eleven year period and he was very close to my family You know we shared two loves love of the game and and we both have daughters is sounds crazy but koby spoke this. He spoke this Isa. Just say all the time I WANNA die young and I thought he was Cra- he's he say I wanna Die Young. I WANNA be bored. Allies is it. You know I wanNA have my career be better than Michael Jordan and I WANNA die young and I just thought he was just so crazy for saying that and when I got the news yesterday I had a dance with my daughter yesterday at my wife's event and they came and told me the news and I just couldn't believe just like just like everybody everybody else is. I'm devastated. Lebron James made his first public comments last night on instagram heartbroken and devastated my brother man. I love you big Bro. My heart goes to Vanessa and the kids. I promise you I'll continue in your legacy man. You mean so much to us all here especially LAKER nation. And it's my responsibility to put this on my back back and keep it going we now welcome in ESPN NBA analyst. Tim Legler are you. Good off man who's been devastating considering the Times uh-huh and we'll continue the conversation. I mean Lebron fully taking responsibility in his post. A what do you think about that. I don't mind I think it's entirely appropriate. But it's not really because Lebron James is purple and gold and playing for the Los Angeles Lakers is because how he conducts himself in the pursuit of excellence. That's where I think it's appropriate. You know we'll sit up here and I'll tell you in the past. Lebron was scared to go to the lane because he didn't want to end up going to the free throw alive while talk about a fadeaway jump shot that he took instead of going to the whole and bringing up a free throw or something along those lines but what you have never nor would you ever hear me say about Lebron. James is that Lebron James has ever cheated the game of basketball. He always goes about the business of trying to keep himself himself in peak condition to be ready to answer the call understanding he's a marquee and has responsibility. His number one job is to who show up the best ability is availability and he's always available and so when you look at it from that perspective you'd think about what made Kobe so great would made. MJ So great guys like that. The number one thing to me I pointed to wasn't their ability. It was the fact that they always showed up. I love watching an interview of from a few months ago where Kobe Bryant was being used on stage talking to somebody and he recounted the story of Vince. Carter was the rage. He was in Toronto when he was taken the League by storm and he was the new aerial assault and all of that stuff and Kobe. Brian was talking about how his back was killing him. And he was enduring these back spasms and then the game against Toronto was coming up any told the trainer. I'll have back spasms today. I'm going to show up today because who in the hell would not have wanted to see Kobe. Going.

"One of their primary running backs as well all read or write this one I love and not because you don't tip your hat in both instances because you certainly do but old school versus school young versus not as young. I you know I mean a lot of experience here in the coaching ranks for all different kinds of reason but who has the ad close strangle so you know they're they're very talented on both sides obviously with forty niners with Kyle Shanahan and Robert Salah At the defensive coordinator but I wanNA to Andy Reid. Here's what Andy Reid in two thousand and three and four coming off a little box. That is fantastic. You give any real extra extra week to prepare. He'll slice and dice I shoo. He'll have his team ready so I think that's where the edge comes for me as far as decide which coaching staff gets the edge. This particular situation no doubt. There's some great coaches I mean. Kobe and Super Bowl quarterback Patrick Mahomes said man not Kobe prayers to his family and friends. Hashtag rest in peace. Mamba there really aren't words to sum up. I think what what Koby meant to so many certainly on the court. His talent unrivaled but as a father as a husband. And I think what's made a lot of people identify with this. Even more is that we got to see the transition. This is a person who came out of high school and became a public figure at seventeen years old. Didn't even have a driver's license. And then we got to watch the evolution and the person and the husband he became and I think there is some identity that that comes with that as well. Yeah and we've all had a lot of time to reflect for the past twenty four plus hours but why this is resonated so much wendy other than the obvious that this is one of the greatest basketball players of all time. I've tried to think about it and a lot of different ways and keep coming back to. Is that something that we all share. There is humans not just those of us on the set. Those who love basketball those who are watching those who aren't watching is that we're imperfect and because of that all of us no matter what our stature is need heroes rose and Kobe. Bryant was a hero to countless people. Certainly many who loved Lakers many who lived in Los Angeles but around the world as well those who enjoyed the game of basketball and part of the torch that you carry as somebody who was blessed with some of the things Kobe Bryant was blessed with was maximizing your responsibility and your platform WPRO and Kobe. The Mamba Mentality is something that that was something that a lot of us work in television. Maybe working a job behind a desk. No matter what it was is we were able to adopt that into our life and tried to practice. What coby was preaching and what he himself obviously was practicing as well? People need heroes in life and Kobe. Bryant was a hero to a limitless number of people and I think that is part of why still a day later the emotions remain raw. It feels those almost odd to be talking about things in the sports world don't revolve around Kobe Bryant. This is a story that just going to resonate for a long long time. Yeah well and you know the second act seem so promising was so prominent. It's possible Kobe. Had just sorta scratched the surface with what he did in basketball. And we talk about Athletes Damian moving on to do different things he personified that I mean the man win an Oscar and he wrote children's and he was still motivated every day. I think to me that's what that's what I draw upon. It's being that we're both form athletes and I saw interview with Kobe Bryant and he talked about how how's Hoffa Gaza transition because your whole life. You're so used to doing one thing and Kobe. He said an interview that that was the thing that drove him to most post retirement was proving people wrong proven wrong that yes. I don't want to look. I don't WanNa look back. I WANNA look forward. I want to put my passion and other things that can inspire other people and we talked about the Oscar. They they want and I always felt like he was his journey was just beginning and I think for me again. Being a former athlete I can draw. I can draw from that knowing that okay. Okay you know here I am. You know been nine years retired now. I don't WanNa look you know. I don't WanNa look my you know my career like that. There's so much to to look forward to and you don't have much time in the grand scheme of things so it's still hard to process this thinking about this iconic person. I grew up a Lakers fan so so obviously watching. Kobe was near and dear to me personally but You know just thinking about the you know his wife and his kids I think to me. That's the hardest. Part of this whole thing. Is the family aspect in other victims as part of this horrific accident is just just terrible. Yeah I think that's the devastating thing is there's no question the greatness that he accomplishes an athlete as a basketball player but his his second act and how tragic it is is that got cut short very young age forty one. That's devastating part. Well this was in Miami. This morning there was also a billboard in Los Angeles US already erected as you might imagine and it's going to be talked about all week long so many people from the sports industry in one place and you know what hug your people hug your people because it's too quick gone too soon at the age of forty one. Kobe survived his wife Vanessa and their three daughters. Oh good good news we have an MVP senior bowl has an MVP in the form of Oregon quarterback Justin Herbert considered the best quarterback prospect at the event in large part art because Joe Bro and to a tons of not participating he was not only the MVP but he was the practice player of the week speaking to his work ethic and some questions Austin as he moves toward the twenty twenty nfl draft according to scouting. He's the third best quarterback in the draft great of eighty eight in Mel Kiper. Mock draft one point six at six to the chargers but all of that will change after his impressive performance in the Super Bowl or will it coach. How image document put on this always talking to senior bowl for coaches unlike scowl? Joe is you really first exposure after the NFL football season really all all but for four teams definitely two superbowl. You were there watching the practices and it was very similar to the first week of. NFL TRAINING CAMP NFL coaches. You're not getting bombarded by a bunch of installation. That's pretty simple the covered schemes. The front schemes are pretty simple and so you really got to see how a guy handles. NFL coaching basically like the first week. You wouldn't training camp. Here's why we put a lot of talking to this last year. Dave gettleman said following the giants election. Daniel Jones Yeah. We knew when we're at the super bowl. That was the guy that the senior bowl. Excuse me that was the guy. They saw him in the senior bowl. So I'm practice all week and saw them in the game. So don't be dismissive of the importance of the senior bowl. It can dramatically influence. A team's decision on any prospect specially quarterbacks which are so micro analyze because of the importance to your roster and your success with them going forward all right. Take some of these other. quarterbacks will start just just to remind people a little bit about what he has been about about six foot six huge in stature a local player who stayed in Oregon. His family bloodline. They're a solid week of practice. As you mentioned Wendy certainly played well in the game as is well. A lot of the physical traits checked out not necessarily the most vocal.

"Fine fine but here's the question to you and it's it's just a question it's just a question. My question would be. What about those because there were a lot of people in the locker room? That felt exactly the way you just expressed Max Max but there were other people in the locker room that looked at the temperament of Teo not just as game and they said so why should donald stick out his neck to help that guy. What do you say that this is what I say what you're talking about? Forget the exact details is divided locker. Room that falls falls on the leader of the franchise. No you want to stay in the front office and the coach that's fine. It is also the quarterback no because of the locker awesome wasn't divided until you introduced weapon x or Chemical Alexa. Whatever you WANNA call it? The locker room wasn't divided prior to Te'o and the locker room was divided after Te'o entered for year a year two years if you ask people in that locker room after tio so you can't blame the division of the locker room on Donovan mcnabb. When before I ever ever entered the locker room was never divided it and then after several years later the locker room to me the Lockerbie not worth the next? The next Brian Dockets but the locker room was divided. Because as a T. O.. That's the issue at hand locker room. Undivided on mcnabb. You can't put that on Donovan mcnabb Emmanuel even if Teo was the problem just speak on the code. What is it wrong for Donovan? mcnabb to come out later and publicly embarrassed him with this information especially at the quarterback leadership usually a classy kind of position to do that. What can you say if that's still okay for him to do that? I wouldn't have done it because like Max said like what's the point. You got both grown. Now you're both grown. You're taking shots and several. Furthermore you're really not GonNa win if you're taking a shot at hall of Famer like let's just call the spade a spade if you're taking a shot at T. O.. To Max's point played out there on a broken torn cartilage and his ankle. And you come out after six weeks and you ball out in the super bowl. That's a battle that you're probably not going to win so mcnabb didn't need to say it but mcnabb took shots from not your while. They were playing together like the coaching. That this how I see it Stephen a let me just be. Why does modern his business? He didn't say anything. Correct right. Exactly yeah let me let me let me put it this way again. Let me just reiterate. I'm mcnabb Fan. I'm saying I don't see the qualitative difference between him and elway. Who's in the discussion top three for a lot of people ever except L.? We got a running game when he was past his prime for two seasons. If mcnabb was in that situation wish maybe he'd have to super bowls. It's not like I'm down on mcnabb what I am saying. Is it's like a coach complaining after the fact because if you're the quarterback and the leader leader and you want to be remembered as one of the greats which I think mcnabb was. It's like a coach saying well. We could have done this. But I had this disruptive player Blah Blah deal with this figure it Out Brother like you can't say one disruptive play and by the way if you're gonNa tell him something even on the fact Stephen if you're going to tell them I don't intervene but you do intervene for someone else. That had a question for you. Stephen you know what I was. PA- is when you see two people fighting. Sometimes you can't tell who's the fool who who who comes out looking worse this very public back and forth between the two of them while Donovan Looks Worse because he instigated it and Donovan also because because you have to ask yourself. What was the motivation behind it now? Donna's my man and I love him and I wish he was still on this show because because damage exceptional job for us when he was on the airforce. Let's be clear but the other side to this is Donovan is also a relatively tiddly simply sensitive. Do stand point that he's done a lot for his career. He deserves hall of Fame Consideration. At the very least we talk about about how people when we talk Carson Wentz. Certainly not you max but so many of us talk about Carson Wentz in a way that gives fodder those who believe that that what's judged in a less harsh fashion Donovan. mcnabb was just so he's going to go on. Hold on hold it Max who knows whether although not that was a motivation for Donovan. Be Speaking out. Because there's people reflect on his career he's probably saying do. y'All have any the idea what I was dealing with. That's explained that's a good point towards what what transpired Stephen in other words. Sometimes he has to play his own defense attorney. ooh He kind of gets underrated by the facts of history. I get that I do get that but it does come out as defensive. Think think think about this for one thing. The last thought is t superstar. TE'O got suspended for talking bad about Donovan. mcnabb got suspended for talking about Don mcnabb. If you don't think Don mcnabb is still thinking about that years the whole organization it was all it was the whole organization. It wasn't just Donovan. mcnabb remember drew Rosenhaus. Said you gotta get out of your a contract so teo was doing all of that for the soul. Express purpose of being as much of a distraction as possible so he could get out of this deal with the Eagles and get a new contracts and Wales. He couldn't pull it off unless the eagles let him go so he had to incentivize them to let them go. It was an orchestrated which traded attack to get out his contract. Maybe you're here because guess what. Julio Jones is getting already make any trouble just kept his head down. We gotta get to break right now. I'm sure we'll see more back and forth on twitter between the two of them. How do you judge someone not by what they say by what they do? We're a nation of doers. What's Mike Bloomberg about doing things? A middle class kid worked his way through college and Entrepreneur Bloomberg built a global news in information business from scratch mayor of diverse progressive city. Mike Bloomberg rebuilt after nine eleven. Creating nearly five hundred thousand jobs improving health with care and public schools. Now he's running for President and Mike's the change. We need from chaos to steady leadership from lies to someone who believes in fax ax and data from divisiveness to someone who builds teams nurtures good ideas and holds himself accountable for results. Mike Bloomberg knows how to lead to a bill to deliver to. He'll win tonight this country Mike will get things done. I'm Mike Bloomberg candidate for president and I approve this message because we need to deliver on the promise of the American Dream Paid for by Mike Bloomberg Twenty twenty. There's some big decisions coming up under center honor and the Big Easy Super Bowl. Champion quarterback drew brees will join the other quarterbacks on his team tastes in Hill. Teddy Bridgewater as free agents on March eighteenth eighteen. Here's the Super Bowl champion on his upcoming decision I wanted to give. I wanted to give it at least a few weeks months postseason just take a deep breath and decompress a little bit and get some time with the family. And then just reassess actually still with us. Stephen Start with you. You does drew brees rank in the top three quarterbacks of the last twenty years wow I really don't know to answer that that question obviously you gotta go and Rodgers. Tom Brady You know even Peyton manning since you bring up the last twenty years or whatever my my in in my initial answer would be no. But it's it's like it's top five. Drew Brees is absolutely sensation. What is it now? He's got seventy seven thousand four hundred and sixteen yards passing. He missed five games this year. Still through twenty nine hundred seventy nine yards twenty seven touchdowns just four and exceptions completed cletus. Seventy four percent of his passes. This is one of the all time greats and I would say top five for the last twenty years definitively top three are- would be a bit tougher but I can make an argument that he belonged in the top three. I can do that. I think this is an easy one. The answer is no love. Drew brees like mcnabb Nat things. Nothing against drew brees but this is an easy. No Tom Brady. Is the most accomplished number one. peyton manning was better than Tom Brady and the regular season but folded it under pressure but even Peyton manning folding under pressure his drop off is still he's falling from the highest height probably ever in the regular season. Still good enough to win. Two Super Super Bowls. And then there's Aaron Rodgers better than all those guys at its best really all those guys when they were active stretches in their career where they were unquestionably atop to quarterback. That's never been the case for drew. brees it's never won. Mvp He's many years. A top. Three quarterback never considered the best usually usually not one of the top two qualitatively the prime of their careers including superbowls and everything drew brees fourth definitive fourth. On that list. So great top five. I agree steven it. Easy call not top three. I think it's easy on the other way. I think it's the easy yes and I think it's because of what you said you gotta be consistently good to He. Great and drew brees has been consistently great if we're being honest sixty eight. Completion percentage sixty eight percent completion percentage over the course of his career. That's the best step in a or in a dome but he doesn't get to dictate where he plays. He plays on the football field. He said put me on grass. We'll do it on graph. He's only played with a top ten defense twice over the course of his career and he still has that that super bowl ring to to bring home. But when I looked at it Max I look at his consistency. Because you say obviously you have brady you have manning and then that three spot. What is the question mark and you? You be inclined to put Rogers there. But he didn't look at this. I mean brees was better than Rogers in this year alone. Although breathe is five years older than Rogers and that's not an opinion. That's just a fact if you turn on the tape or just look at the stats however you wanted to do sit however you want to do so as I looked at it. BREES has made the claim to be the best cuffy's been so good for so long CARAJAS. Peak was clearly drew brees starbucks Rogers at his worst like this is the worst season season that I've seen Rogers have is a star this year. This team got to the NFC championship game team. But his team did drew. Brees was on a better team and they did not get as far. But why did the packers get to the NFC championship. Remember that defense is what put them into our teddy bridgewater was five. No they were pretty good that they weren't who were we talking about this far as the patches. We weren't just talking. What about rock if we were saying man has rogers fallen brothers? Stephen when you talk about consistency of saying this is you can point to this day. I wasn't that great. This year. Got The NFC championship game all the other years. This dude is like we need to win eight straight to make the playoffs no problem every year. You look at the odds one of the favorites to win the Super Bowl. Why Cook Rod are we boring you Steve? And that's how you look at the crappy. Because he is how look at. Here's how here's.

Drew Brees Donovan mcnabb Stephen mcnabb Max Max Donovan. mcnabb Donovan peyton manning Tom Brady Teo Don mcnabb Mike Bloomberg Rogers Entrepreneur Bloomberg Aaron Rodgers Chemical Alexa Brian Dockets Carson Wentz

"Zion's debut with the Pelicans plus ally manning is retiring so the giants in a better place with Daniel Jones and andy reader. Patrick Mahomes who benefits more more from a chief Super Bowl win. Let's call it on everybody. Welcome into I take. Thank you for hanging with US Stephen. A Smith Jay Williams Max Kellerman. I'm taking good all right. Let's get it. The number one overall Pick Zion Williamson made his much anticipated. Debut as the Pelicans closer the spurs what was a four point loss for New Orleans. Zion had twenty two points most NBA debut in Pelicans history passing a D.. In Two thousand twelve he also became the first player in NBA history with twenty points seven rebounds and four threes and under twenty minutes. Serious everything agenda except for the losing part Just the energy to crowd ball The energy of the city Bra on there was a lecture again. I'm just grateful that they did that. You had not hit four threes in a game in college. You're in the zone. I guess so when I'm just say when you're not able to move around do athletic movements for awhile. Shoot spot of Jumpers. I guess that was a result of that encouraging to see him do that. Max where you impressed by his performance overall I was blown away and let me tell you why athletically clear he clearly was not the same right. The Guy we saw in college athletically had an explosiveness. I didn't see yesterday. pertile blocks shot that we gets the rebound he puts it back in. But that wasn't Zay Dianne Williamson so then the question is what do you do when that happens. What do you do when they packed the paint and they dare you shoot like what do you go into the teeth of the defense? When you really clearly not physically all the way back to prove to guys like Stephen a Smith that you can or do you take what the defense gives you you understand the patience nations and wisdom of one year old with that kind of ability and hype proved the kind of game? He did not just that he's willing passer. He has that Lebron James Snap across the court type passing ability and he's willing passer and he has a high end high basketball. IQ How about the fact that Oh dear shoot but let me tell you what four threes in the fourth quarter of a close game means it means more than anything. You're calm under pressure. I don't even think it's about the repetition including I think the moments too big for him. He's common oh you're going to give you the shot. He didn't rush. It gathered himself. shot the ball seventeen points in eighteen minutes. Sorry twenty two points altogether seventeen consecutive points. When he came out of the game game it was a one score game if he stays in? I think they win the game. That was an awesome debut by I heard Jay Williams looking for. It's not been trying to find you. Listen I had a few doctors appointments at Mit chug myself out the hard to be. Well you can come to work every day ready to roll. Are you looking for before because let me be very. Let me be very very clear. He's he's listen. Let me explain. Let Me Explain Zion. Williamson is Columbia superstar. We all know this is what we believe. And I'm not sitting here saying that. He had a bad bad night or anything like that. That's not what we were going to hurt. Jay would look for me. We mean he was good. He won't great. Are you crazy match. You actually explain why you've got people sitting out there. Let him shoot a set shot to what have you because you WANNA keep that. Mammoth of a young man pay. I get all of that. I wasn't looking looking for that from Zion. It's nice to see but as far as I'm concerned dammit spurs look like they were playing the sometimes. It was almost like that black. This does shoot and set shots until he got hurt. The Tony got healthy. I mean that's how it looked at the top in terms of him launching a shot. I'm not judging by that. What I was looking for was his activity? His movement without the ball how healthy you all have any questions about his gate. I totally believe this guy is going to be great but when they said he was ready to doc because if you remember the initial prognosis of his injury was that he was going to be out six to eight weeks so if this were six weeks or eight weeks right and I don't know exactly. How much time has he been out now? But what I'm saying is that it was significantly longer than we had originally expected and anticipated so in light of that had he come back six to eight weeks and he looked like that that would have been different because he's been out so long total and over forty games might mindset was brother In terms of health wise. He's a hundred percent so I'm not looking for you. Know what he's going to make a set shot. I'm looking at his activity How he's moving without the ball how healthy he looks the spring in his step which I saw which I thought for a moment to moment? Yeah I was in no way. That wasn't no way judging his game because everything that I saw last night outside of the four three point is given credit for that. I mean I'm just looking for the activity. See how healthy is. That's all I was looking for. There was nothing about his game that I was concerned about. What's wrong with that Sometimes you really frustrates me so well. The first man's Miss Three and a half to four months of playing basketball right playing basketball Stephen. Even Hey basketball basketball shakes up the phone. My it's not just the things that get back it's up and down constantly. You run over three and a half miles per game for a guy weighs two hundred eighty five pounds twenty two points seven rebounds and eighteen minutes per forty eight minutes has fifty nine points and twenty rebounds. No that's you looking at it all wrong. I'm looking at the ability to play those minutes and I'm not saying I expected that. Who who say Tonio Spurs Steven Great Public One of the greatest coaches of all time? Absolutely could you. Could you confirm that. The Scott the report on the guidelines Zion Williamson. Let him play his weaknesses. Right sure how to do so. One of his weaknesses shooting so he's able to knock down shots which then opens it up the drive by the way don't on Demar Derozan who even though he's at the latter part is still one. They're freakishly most athletic talents. We've seen in the League for a while. He grabbed the rebound over our guy who seven one he may he never be in midseason born but look at him at this being his. I guess you're saying that you wanted to see was that. He's totally physically back from injury. That's fine maybe maybe I would agree with you. He has more go and J not basketball shape. Really what I'm looking for is how do you adjust to the pro game. When they do pack the paint when they dare you to shoot do rush? It is the moment to big. When do you look for the open man? He has a high basketball pressure. All I'm asking Y'all all to accept the fact that this to me is not a discussion about his basketball. I'm not questioning not questioning anything about that. What I'm saying is at the start Oughta game last night? Mark Jackson poured it out. He looked a little out of shape which was a little couple and then he said he looked a little heavy and to me he looked a little gimpy. Be What I'm talking about looking for him and for my health perspective that all I cared about. I didn't care about anything. 'cause I knew what else in quite common I did I did. I didn't say from three. I'm talking about in terms of his willingness to attack. I'm looking at a guy that for. For example he went out. He came back when he was at Duke. You're talking about golf for national championship when he went up against central Florida. What he showed up in the elite eight as well etc.? I'm looking you can get this guy and I don't have any questions about his composure. I wasn't worried about that. I'm looking at them from a health standpoint his ability to move with the basketball his activity and I know that's going to come all I'm saying is that's what I was looking for. That's all I was looking at times. I think he moved a little bit gingerly by the way Donald. Ginger Lee runs like that though Stephen. That's the way I mean a little bit heavier up top asking you asked me what would have been impressive for Stephen. A Smith on Ziya Williams his first game back after missing three even at four months does if I saw Zion like I saw in the Summer League in terms of his veracity and his willingness to attack. That's what I saw the fourth qua. I am not having a conversation the station with y'all about this guy's level of productivity. I'm talking about being in attack mode the way that I am accustomed to seeing them. That's all talking about. Who could he? The side one for thirteen. But that brother was for Roche's as hell he was gonna be ferocious you the Dan he hit four. Yeah he's in the fourth quarter. The weakest part of his game at shooting and he did that very night. Toss I twenty two all right to be looking at any time out too long. How do you judge judge someone not by what they say by what they do? We're a nation of doers. What's my Bloomberg about doing things? A middle class kid worked his way through college. College and Entrepreneur Bloomberg built a global news.
