"It's that i'm just using to plan to buy stuff. And i never even thought about it for business are really fell in love with it over the course of my seo ranking brands journey to. So if you're going to rank brand you may as well use to. Organic is just so high. The reach shirt Second now so i do a lot of. I don't know if you start a lot a lot in e comercio a lot in just generic s. Yo zola schedule. A cotr creek we. I'm addicted seo. It's so amazing. What what it can do really once you figure it out like and most economies are not using it gently about might once the brands that we are doing it. They're just like oh my god wrangler sites. Most people think this real quick for most people think it's it's not like you can just. It's a 401k investors. All i always tell people it you know you put some e brands learn one brand were thrown on. They probably put over a hundred thousand dollars in. Seo in their own outranks spot one on big terms because it's so competitive. They compete with such big retailers but his traffic's of you know his sales just it's one of those things where the return you know. It's kinda like you're you're trend. Lines of you're spending. Your return will like this eventually. They're going to cross. Yeah we're spending flattened in then it goes off so exactly i ranked brand ventura lake eighteen months and they are now just like killing it and they own five or six brands and they're like oh god we want let you everything we had. No it was like every month trying to convince them like. Hey you guys just keep going believe me. it's like a year and a half worth of convincing. And now they're like eighty thousand dollars a month and profit just from a very small link spend. It's lake subaru. Worth it all when here. So tell us about i. Guess tell us a little bit about your pincher strategy talk Overview the high level overview. The big difference between pinterest and facebook Kind of what. You're handling for accounts we'll get into into some of the more more specifics so interest. The buying behavior is similar to a hybrid between google ads on facebook guide. So it's got this whole keyword elements so you're researching but it's a very different strategy than when you're like doing long tokens words etc for four search engines but it has a very similar search behavior browse behavior content behavior phrase match behavior to google edwards. Because it's actually a search engine. It's not really a social media platform that a lot of people think it is. It's a surgeon. People are going there to plan purchases going there to get excited on what to buy to The number of people is ninety. Three percent of people have made a purchase on pinterest. So the buying behavior is very intentional about purchasing it's just slower so their algorithms. The attribution windows are longer and it similar to. It's cool because it's like google. How many times. If you think about just your normal process of purchasing like if you go to google you see something you like but you may be save a tab or you may be myself million links text or whatever but it's not like you have this visual platform of you seeing. What is that you want to buy in the future. You're not really saving it the way that you would go back and purchase you. Just keep googling and trying and if you google again maybe somebody else has your spot so with pinterest. it's really cool because you save. It's.

"I hate to tell you. You're missing out on seventy percent of the market out there. Like tana deals out and then there's a third way exactly it's called. Seo sense for search. This is my favorite toni when it comes to. Roi is my favorite yet but it is later game not a now game hill. Explain that yes. So here's probably the best comparison. Pbc is renting a house. Seo's owning a house seo is basically the game of using google for what it's actually used for when someone searches something. Yeah google is gonna show ads but also it's gonna show organic listings that are the most relevant thing for that Now how do you win. You're one of one hundred wholesalers websites in your market proved to google that you're relevant to what the person's searching than one of these other companies it's spy by doing search engine optimization Things like posting content on your website getting back links optimizing pages on your website for particular keywords and different things like that are kind of how you prove to google. That you belong there The thing about this is it does take a lot of time you start. Seo today you will not get. I mean most of our clients nine to twelve months until their first from seo. It's one of those things where it's relatively inexpensive each month. Like you won't pay as much for as you do for other stuff because there's no spend there's management only And you'll find you're getting the same quality of leads that you get from bbc. But you're not paying for those clicks anymore. Is it the same things Yeah i mean technically a little bit lower quality because we have like if we get some for example some terms that people are searching on google. That aren't exactly what we want over ranking for them organically so don't have to pay anything extra to they're like. Yeah we'll take those right so sometimes. The leads aren't as high quality but they're they're really really close. Knit includes also this core things there's different seo strategies. You could do to do the core staffer at. I'm just curious. 'cause like for me always made sense that they'd be more motivated right like. That's what made sense to me logically but we bought some seo. These bought other people ranked on seo. And then they sell those leads uselessly. It's actually a brilliant model and looking at these leads are not very good and i was just curious like maybe something else is going on. I mean that's a matter of what is the seo. I mean any company that's selling leads. You generally can't count on the quality of the leads being same as if you were to generate them. Because they're making money on each their model is how many leads they can get in yet. So it's a i think incentives are kinda misaligned slightly skewed. Yeah it's not that they couldn't do it right but like if you're gonna make that most profitable it's rarely going to be having expensive. Leads and telling people trust me. They're really good. It's just gonna be providing more.

"And at that point. Google view is loads better than it was before you started. I love that. It's really interesting to in the context of like agencies. Where a lot of the times. They're doing for clients is crafting a narrative and a story. And it sounds like a lot what you're talking about is having the marketing strategy across all the different channels and ultimately controlling the story of your brand. It doesn't have to be a reactive thing of getting rid of negative mentions. It's a proactive thing of knowing who you are and making sure google knows who you are. Exactly i'm sorry. The the reason. I went off dan. Not little robert hall is because when i started all this the only thing i ever heard was reputation management. Not saying no i done. That isn't the point. And in fact. I actually quite negative reaction and every time anyone came to me with the problem like result. Can we get it off the brand set. I was awarded online fresno. No no no no no. No no. And i've i've changed that point of view because of my challenge of perception of it which is exactly what you just said. It's not about drowning negative results. It's about creating a narrative around your brand with the content that corresponds to your users and that brings us onto just did a a program with authorities and wrote an article for the about content strategy. And i stupidly sets them oil do content strategy no problem tool and then talk about it. I don't know anything. "So I think it gets a more Personal Touch home. Yeah, I think people are looking for a lot more information on businesses right now either local or large or medium small everything, right? So this really let's a business kind of show more of themselves and maybe the first step of an introduction like Google my business cuz like you said April that's kind of like the first introduction that a lot of people have The Tourist businesses song Google. Yeah, I guess so it's more than just I think just seeing all the the hours or you're open but it gives it more of a personal touch and feel so you could be oh baby even closer to the business if it relates to something that I'm interested in. So I think that's really neat. Yeah, the the other powerful thing about Google my business is keep in mind that attributes are so if you look at Google my business, you'll see that it's actually like a rep Results in the Google search engine right? It's got a separate View and listing completely and especially different on mobile vs. Desktop those attributes and all of this information that you feel in about your business will help determine how often you show up in maps local business searches and your own brand name and related terms. So we'll pull up the one screenshot shortly that shows how we rank for digital marketing Waterloo and digital marketing agency Waterloo. We keep up but we try to keep up with Google my business as well on a very regular basis also dig into that a little bit too, but you definitely want to fill this all in so photos now dead. Yeah. I mean it's video. Yep. Yes, whether it's you know, showcasing some behind-the-scenes kind of like what we have here and some branded content. It's also really good for how long Physical pictures of your building as well. I know a lot of businesses kind of neglect that too but I think it's just as important to kind of showcase. The actual building is all kind of puts more of a kind of a local wage to it. Plus if people are trying to look for your building to definitely I did see a stat here on a search engine Journal. I think that said that businesses with photos on their listing actually received 42 per month more requests going through their website. So it just adds that extra one point. I don't think we'll look in to investigate more into your business. Yeah, and and it makes sense. Right? Like if your business looks like it's alive, right and there's recent photos and it looks like that someone's there putting stuff onto the Google my business social media or your website, whatever it is right. Is that the the business is alive and it's like we're here to serve we're here to help and sometimes I know if I've been looking for a business online and I go and they haven't posted em. Being a long-time kind of question marks guys still here or what's going on, right? Yeah. It's and it's an incredibly important forward facing part. So this is what it looks like on desktop and the view is is far more dominant when you get to Mobile, it's literally the only thing you see. Yeah, and and your your photos really will allow people to to get a sense for your business to interact with the business office and and we can even pull up here and I'll show some insights. So you can see here. Also, it does it's a good point to make that over 60% of all searches on Google our local searches and and being dead. But local is an incredibly important and Powerful strategy.

"Again online success. All right jumping OUTTA here. Let's go back to something that is very interesting. overstreet overseeing jumped into search engine journal check this out did Google just hint at an authority profile. A recent blog post from Google, points to a defining to defining paradigm on the Surp- with what we know now as update. So here's the deal is that occasionally Google actually ill hits a keyboard and churns out of new post that explains what goes on behind the scenes at times these, and we're gonNA talk about that. Actually a little bit more on the show today at times poster meant to serve as general introductions to a given topic and other times you'll use it is as blog to update the industry at its. Latest advancements this exactly what happened on September tenth when Google's Dani, Sullivan and Pandu nyack simultaneously the released blog posts on reliability and quality of the surp- and to jump into it here, the extract that Morgan is pointing out here, and this is a very important. Especially, the we've been talking about e e Ata expertise authority and trust. There's a quote in the blog for topics where quality information is particularly important like health finance civic information. In crisis situations we play, we play an even greater emphasis on factors related to expertise and trustworthiness. We've learned that sites that demonstrate authoritativeness and expertise on a topic are less likely to publish false and or misleading information. So if we can build our systems to identify signals of those characteristics, we can continue to provide reliable information that design of these systems is our greatest defense against low quality content including potential misinformation,.

"Data just like we do here over at the shop for search engine journal. Google confirms. So search console reporting is actually delayed Google notified site owners that is experiencing longer than usual delays in search console reporting. Now, this is reported by Matt Southern So. Paul, how often do you search console? All the time. If it's not from the API or another means them I mean that's data that I'm looking at every single day. and. It's this is not the first time. We've seen delays in search console data. I feel like this happens fairly frequently. No. Absolutely. So this was convert confirmed by Google on twitter at five five eleven am eastern on September fourteenth there currently currently experiencing longer than usual delays. So well, that means to the layperson here is that we're not able to see the GMC data with the with I mean they've actually upped their game We had longer delays here at the beginning of the year they've actually stepped up in February or March we could see data come in around two or three days, right? Paul. Yeah I forget what it was. I think it's even more recent than that. It's really it's twenty, twenty, four hours Oh. My God that's right. That's right. That's right. That's right. So we were always navigating almost like a week or five day type increment our now we're getting spoiled for twenty four hours a response, but it's amazing to be able to see that type of performance so. Now. Whenever we have any type of hiccups and the same thing applied here just recently i. think sports actually reported something about Google Google business insights got hung up and it's not reporting anything since August thirty for thirty I, if I'm not mistaken so there's a big gap there. But at the same time, we can't live and die by this data, but there should be some. Hopefully. Some some remedies on a regular basis or if there are hiccups that we can count on rectification within a couple of days because these are major steer steerage points that we use for our sides. So with that type of immediate data that you get, Paul, what do you use that Ford? How can you? How can you counter maybe a gaps in the in the indexing there? I think I think it depends on were kind of site you're running but you know it it it's not always common that they use. Keyword data. That's that fresh like you're looking for trends over time than a lot of the historic data is going to be very, very useful. I am in publishing now, and I mean, we look at more recent data but. Even. So I think some of the more historic data's going to going to drive a lot. Yeah absolutely, and and and the trends himself for some great tools to be able to see analysis and compare and contrast is between You know seven days and and thirty day type of packages. Great spreadsheets out there to be able to use that data, I would love to see them and put as much..

Welcome back to Seo went to one on Webmaster Radio DOT FM hosted by myself Ross done CEO of step forth, Web Marketing and my company's senior Seo Scott Vanak. Okay. So local SEO. Come. Quite a component for. Our show these days. There's always lots to share recent seems to be so. Sort of dovetailing into the last discussion, their next door is has ruled out free business posts. You can only do two things to per month. But it also offers some best practice advice. Now of course, before you can do any of this, you have to register your business at Nextdoor DOT com, and I can tell you what the URL is because it's very simple. NEXT DOOR DOT COM forward slash create hyphen business. Next DOT COM for slash create hyphen business and just make sure don't do what. I did make sure to pick your country I. It's at the very top of the page totally obscure to me. Because I made my count and realize it was only for the states. There's nothing telling me that except that damn. At the top rate so had us another email address to create a new one for Canada? Frustrating Anyway, make sure you do pick that country and then you can add stuff to it just like go my business listing. Not, nearly as comprehensive. But. Next story is owned by Google so Of course, what isn't There's definitely some connection there a the data from Google business to it are not is not being transitioned out. So is a fully unique and independent platform in that sense I'm surprised they don't allow you to log in using your Google ID and your Google business infiltrate into it. Yeah. You know I agree but that's too simple. I guess would be that would be a good user experience and we know that. You know. anyways. and. Also, they're probably it's such a big alphabet such a huge company now that it's so. So separated. That's pearly not possible. Maybe there's some. Antitrust or no issues with that too who knows that they can't connect the two? At any rate I like having another place to work on I think it's good. Next door is booming. Have you signed up for next door because he wrote about it in your area? No I really know almost nothing about it at this point I'm sure that'll change very quickly but will yeah, because it did come to our area. It's probably gonNA come to your city or your town city wherever. It is close to town. Is it a city? I'm technically town. There you go. So Yeah. It's probably GONNA take some time to get there but we received a letter literally from next door. So it's They're they're working on it. Okay Next Did you see this one on manual actions? I did and I think it's Kinda funny it. Basically an article, a Search Engine Journal discusses how to use the manual action report in Google search console and I find it interesting that after seventeen years of being at this job, I have never seen a single incident where there has been an action list under manual actions. And we've and obviously for our existing clients, we hope that that never happens and it probably shouldn't happen. But we do a lot of audits and we've had people come in with audits that have had problems and probably had manual actions against them. That don't show up so I, I have no hands on experience actually going through dealing with us because it hasn't happened yet. Yeah, I. Mean I've been hired before to help people with manual actions so I have seen it. Slowly coming back but not very often and. I can't say I remember actually seeing it in there either. Must have happened. Once I'm pretty sure once but yet not exactly common and I think it's actually frustrating because. There's There are moments when we know there's been a manual action, there's no way in hell. It hasn't been because their sites gone or it's all the pages are on number one hundred or whatever. There's something going on and in those situations. I would rather see something Emmanuel manual actions at least we'd have something to tell them. And that's Part of the frustration that is Google that doesn't happen anymore though I don't I don't know of anyone women heard of anyone in a long time that's needed. Needed, assistance with manual actions have you. Know, no I mean any issues that I found were related to so Anyway they just talk about The the list of violations that could result in an election where to find it within the search console, and again, if anyone here listening hasn't set up Google search console, do that just go and type in Google search console on Google and you'll get to a page which allows you to set it up. You haven't already done. So it's quite a simple process and it'll give you access to what Google. Professors to know about your your website what they believe important and gives you some pointers on improvements somewhat which you should just ignore..

"You had Boston dynamics to selling their robot for seventy five grand. You can go ahead and buy yourself one of these things I don't know. What do you think is? Has the time come for robots I mean there's they actually show in one of the marketing bids it doing patient screening, it can do temperature scan hit people's foreheads, and you don't have staff moving through the office, so it seems like a great application but I don't know what's your overall? Take on the robot revolution. It's an incredible piece of machinery now in the terms of service. If you read it on, the ordering page does say you may not. Use Robots to intimidate or harm people or other animals, and your warranty will be void, and we will revoke permission to use the robot. If you do these things so they they do have the remote kill switch if you start doing stuff that. Should be doing with it that said I want to figure out how much it actually can carry. Because that's totally the kind of thing that you would put a saddle ought and just ride around. Well. This is another thing I've said this before on. The show is that I think they consciously went with creating dog size robot. Because there's no reason they couldn't do one. That's five times the size, except for the fact that would scare the daylights out of everybody on Earth to see this larger than a cow thing barreling down at them. As a side Gig you have a horseriding farm. Wouldn't the ROBOT BE? Great is like the trainer to learn how to ride horse because you know it. You're no danger of getting bucked off because the robot literally will not do that. That is a heck of a question. We could just make a horse suit for one of those, and yes, it would totally behavior. We wouldn't. Even you know. The ring could be fixed. The thing would stay within a foot in every direction wouldn't go to the other big win. I was saying that for here's throwing. Hey, this is the time of year where they're getting six or seven hay wagons a month that need to be the he needs to be loaded and thrown up into the upper barnes and yeah, having a robot do that with just make all that go away instantly. Nobody likes to do that work. At the AG. It's not like we have a line of employees wanting to do it either it's it's quite a struggle, so yeah. How much is a thoroughbred horse cost like a real horse like a? One, that's trained and can be ridden. You're you're already starting to get into the like fifteen thousand dollar range to start, and it goes easily up into six figures so seventy, four five for horse that whenever throw you is actually realistic is not does not of too far out of the realm of possibility. No, especially the fact that it never needs to have that treatments. Fairy air. It doesn't have to have it. Stall cleaned. I At least not the same way. I would just thing just to have. It's got to be just like a lead acid, battery or something. Lithium Battery Lithium Okay so that's. God and that's a whole nother thing. We just put solar panels on the barn and have a tesla box, and it'd be free to run the things so okay John and Chris. Out Ranch is. Right around the corner. I think I think. Sometime. Be, amazing I don't even know what the heck where we can go from there, but. I did have a quick when we had a question about why search console and don't match, and that's been in the queue for a while, so I wanted to throw that out there. Search Engine Journal had an article about that. Is there anything off the top of your head? Though that you wanNA throw it onto that, so there's a bunch of things going on there. One is time delays search console and Google trends both our data sources that require aggregating rolling up data from Google's data centers, so there is a minimum three day delay. Between when something happens when you actually get, look at the data, a friend of mine was asking about you know they did a google. Search and saw has really weird anomaly. And why are we seeing this and well because Google trends on delay, and so, what is putting in the interface for the last three days? Is there estimates? But it's not the final date. It tastes at least three days for rollback into the data centers. And Roll Up, so you'RE GONNA. See skews on that. You'RE GONNA. See skews to. They have different data sources google analytics is data from your website, which necessitates running a tracking script and executing and collecting that data, and if there any kind of anomalies where. Something's just not being fired like the. Continues fired of this ad blockers and stuff like that. You will have anomalous where search console is literally what Google is seeing from Google servers, so they're always going to be different because you can't control how many people have an adblocker that are on your site all right? We just have to take a moment. Lincoln marketing solutions for their support of marketing over coffee right now. Terms and conditions apply free one hundred dollars at credit and get rolling, and we thank them for their support of the show. Okay! We had another one, too. You had something recent about using bounce rate for rankings. Yeah, this is a perennial topic that keeps coming up in. This one. was search engine roundtable. Google has repeatedly said they don't look at bounce. Rates as signals for whether a site is good quality, because it's very noisy signal and we know this when you look at your behavior. If you go to a blog saying if you a previous episode of marketing over coffee, and you hit marketing over coffee dot, com read, and then you go back to what you're doing. That doesn't mean you didn't get what you want it. It doesn't mean that you didn't get fulfilled in some way. It means you got what you wanted to, and you're out and so. Bounce rate because it's so noisy is a poor indicator of a quality I. It is something that when people say I got to keep our balance rates down. To keep bounce rates down on really important pages. The pages have your form fills up. Those you don't want balanced rates high because people are leaving before they do the thing, right. You always want to have like a zero. percent bound zero percent exit. Mean someone. And what we wanted to, but in terms of ranking signals, it's not super important. One thing I did think it was super interesting this week, and it's it's very very obscure Google. has this whole portal all their published academic research? And that's where you gonna find all the gems in.

"engine journal" Discussed on Marketing Over Coffee

"Good Morning Welcome to marketing over coffee. I'm John Wall Christopher Ben and I. Don't even know where to start. Where do we start? It's just I. had this whole insane story that I just refuse to go into about my old neighbors who were being allegedly? An ebay security team for a year. Just like this insane strikes. I'll just throw to that because. That's totally crazy. Things are crazy. Crazy Times ten. But you know the thing. I will say about this from a marketing perspective. Where was the Social Media Monitoring Team Right? Where was the the Alex? Team where the the folks at Ebay who you should have seen because it was not. Something that was kept coat totally quiet this. There's there's been content about this. What happened in its complete failure in your marketing analytics governance where nobody's watching, the someone should have gone through the mentions of the brand and stuff. That doesn't look. We normally don't send bloody pig masks to people. And that's the thing that amazes me. There is just like this line where your company becomes so big that you have these. Black OPS teams. It's like a security blacks OPS team within your own company. You know because you're so big. So. Yeah, just totally nuts and yeah I'm crazy, but it speaks to the need that you absolutely should have human review, and you should be having somebody in your Pr. Your comms team somebody looking at the social media mentions looking at more than just like the line graph of you know. How many mentions you got that day? Actually sampling the data looking in there because you should be able to see. That article looks like it could be a problem. One of the Challenges Crisis Comms is that like for regular social media monitoring pr you can rely line chart of number of mentions went up because you're looking at data and the aggregate when you're doing crisis communications, you have to be looking at every single article because you don't know when the next spark is going to become the next bonfire, so somebody's gotta be reviewing stuff that the software would say hey, this for flagging this even just for questionable with what to do with it, and clearly that was not happening. Yeah, yeah, and so probably best practice would be. You got to get all hands. Anybody that can generate content and understands the company is going to have to transition to watching the feeds during that crisis positions that make sense exactly, and and you need a specialist software for that. Because a lot of social media monitoring tools just kind of like big batch stuff. There's no anomaly tracking in real time in most software packages. So it's important that if a crisis is going to be a problem for your brand, or you see it being a problem, you need to have that real time feed. It should look kind of like you know. The Matrix low at all the walls, going by and things, but without it you will get burned. Yeah, there's just so much that you have to dig into like you said. You have no idea what's coming next and when it will flare up. You had Boston dynamics to selling their robot for seventy five grand. "One particular direction. So fast for folks that that might not get it. Okay so astroturf so when you go out if you do a search you think okay. I'm going to find out. What is the world know about this right? Well that definition of what the world knows about it is based on what you find in the search. That's the search engine results pages right now. The search engine results pages as one of the guys I started the second pay per click search engine back in the day and I knew this was a problem I was like man. There are a lot of people out there that are trying to manipulate our algorithms and try to show up I and it was kind of a battle right so that battle is still being fought today now. Google will tell you. Their battle is that they want the truth to be out there. And there's a lot of information out there now to show that that's not actually true. Google actually has a pretty clearly defined blitzer agenda. And they they actually will slant information in particular direction so the notion of Astra Turfing is to say all right let me dominate the information landscape let me dominate Google Dominate Utility dominate facebook. So that whenever somebody looks up a topic like GM O.'s will example that all they're gonNA find his GMO's or safe all of the scientists say that GMO's are safe anybody who questions. "After that it's like something ridiculous like ninety nine dollars a month or something but what it does is it returns questions that people might ask regarding your key word. So it's it's just a plethora of of those how to what if type key word phrases that you might consider using to sort of transition toward the intense sort of things with surgeons can keep that in the back of your mind Stay abreast of what's going on. There's a there's a website There are several websites for Seo. You Got Search Engine Journal search engine. Examiner think is one But yeah just The MAS blog h refs blog Idi any SEO tools. Blog is going to be a really good place to keep up with SEO trends and just Figure out what is going on in that realm of things since it's one of those things that is constantly changing you do in half to you know. Stay on top of it. You can always Spews Google itself and use the type in your search. So you know. Seo Trends are you know new SEO data whatever I don't know as far as SEO goes and then just use that tools link and filter your search for you know last month or last year to make sure you're getting up to date stuff so as far as trends like what's the trend. Should we ignore the trends? Absolutely not Google has a transplant. I could if you go to trends dot Google dot com you land on Google trends. They have a platform for trends. Pinterest has a platform for trend. Abela any search engine really is going to have trends. If you I mean if you go on twitter they have trends the you know the trending hashtags so you should definitely pay attention to what's trending but I don't think you should Gear your content toward. What's trending unless it fits? In with your niche moving onto the next question this one comes from Mary and it says please explain how to get paid for riding on medium and what is your strategy for doing. So so I'm just GonNa answer that outright so I haven't started writing for medium yet I mean I have some old stuff on there from a few years ago. I haven't started the new stuff yet but my strategy simply is to be consistent so planning to post on medium on a daily basis To get paid to write for medium you just simply join them medium partner program and you can do so at medium dot com slash creators. My second question coming in for Mary is is generating ideas from your email content for your podcast too redundant to maintain listenership among your email readers. That would kind of be up to my email readers. I guess I know that not everyone on. My email list is in the podcasts. I do know that much A good point to think that maybe you know they wouldn't want to read it in email and also here in a podcast. But I don't think it's going to be too redundant because I'm always going to go into more detail on the podcast. Would in an email so that would be the same for any written content that generate for my email ideas as well like I said. I'm compiling emails into a book and I'm elaborating on those topics. Next couple questions are coming in from Andy The first one he wanted to know is how do you stay motivated when the results are underwhelming or not as you expected? I think I just naturally have like this. Never quit attitude. This just some. I don't know where it came from I. I would have to attributed to my mom after seeing her go through You know a stroke and cancer in the last year and have to say that that probably comes from her and Just knowing just be able to see people online you know. I'm I work as a virtual assistant and I've seen I've seen a lot of balance sheets. I've seen some pay PAL accounts I've seen some publishing accounts with the revenue. So I've seen the numbers. I know that it's possible. I've seen it with my own two eyes and I think vacuous me motivated to an extent. You know if they can do it so can i? So this has worked for me since two thousand and six Noah haven't made the big time. I am able to generate a fulltime income currently from what I do online. But it's not. There's a lot of things lacking in that income. I'm not reaching all of my goals. I'm just kinda barely scraping by so those things. Keep me motivated. My my Wi- my overwhelming. Why you know of elderly parents that I wanNA take care of a half to provide for myself for retirement? Since I don't work for a company you know that sets that up for me. I have to provide for myself as far as healthcare benefits as I don't work for a company that provides that for me so you know. I have this overwhelming why to succeed in. I'd have to succeed or die trying. That's just how I feel about it. Andy Second Question. Any suggestions on how to prioritize which tasks and projects to focus on You know it can be Kinda hard to know how to prioritize what you're doing like I know like the more work than I had incoming from clients the worse. I am at prioritizing what I should be working on and where I should be focusing if it was just my business and I wasn't working for these other people I would say up focused on the things that you no matter so for me and for what. I Cheat. Teach that would be website. Email list to start so you got your acquisition channel. Your your website you've got your retention channel which is your email list and then it's time to work in an engagement channel which usually is some form of social media. I would give that platform established first and foremost and then after that I was start testing things and I kinda test things on a smaller scale so that I could run through the test more quickly. You know you know. I'm not a spring chicken. I don't have a lot of time to sit around and and figure things out I mean I've been at this since two thousand six. It's it's time for me to find whatever it is and run with it right so As far as testing and things like that I'm GonNa be looking for things that are kind of our already proven that I can take based on the knowledge that are already having. No it's GonNa work before put too much time and effort into it with the email list. It was just something that I that I tried off the cuff. And it's you know turned out to be the most epic thing that I've done for my business almost ever is writing to my email list every day. So those to those questions come in from Andy. He's got a book. He wants you to check out. So please grab the show notes at candy cashflow dot com slash episodes sixty one to get linked to Andy's book..

This means that ideally you need to keep the content and on your blog as fresh as possible to increase your chances of appearing on page one another key factor is that if a blog post that you twelve months ago he's not getting the traction you wanted. You can give it near life by updating it now. There's no need to rewrite the entire block boats and from scratch. That's not necessary. You can simply update if you paragraphs the title the keyword if needs be that would be very careful when i'm losing a key would update. I._d.'s did this with two of my top ranking blog booze because when i looked in google search console i noticed that visitors wanted more details to the questions. How did i noticed that because <hes> google was ranking me for keywords. I didn't optimize the bug posts four and i looked on page one. I was stuck. I was stuck in the bottom of page on top of page two for a while so i look at other people's other people who one page when i look at dear particular <hes> content on the particular blog posts i notice that people on the comments that people making under bush and his people wanted a little bit more information compared to what already route so so those two posts went from around seventeen hundred in one thousand nine hundred words took two thousand four hundred words as i needed to include even more information on on each of those bubbles number five is guest posting just listening to that title you meet me.
