"Really weird. Hard pit draft and then also didn't play that great by the janssen stuff. I'm definitely on the train with a lot of other people that like. I don't know why the hell fart inches flash auto houdini and kill him in the instant win the ball. Yeah it was weird. Like i think he was. I think he was actually trying to stay out of range of q. He'll and gordon. Corrective is is that was by read it when i saw that but i also thought it was an astro hidden from downtown. It's like he stunned for three and a half seconds just slap them in the street anyways. The point is there's mistakes. The draft was weird. Whatever and like i think you can. Sometimes i don't wanna say excuse those games but like when you played this many games in the postseason you're gonna have some where the the you know the things don't land right. I think the one in the earlier series is the loss that is more excusable because that was the one where i who game seem liquid. They come out this new strategy all over the super aggressive like okay. Okay and then. They are up in the series and they revert basically into a way slower. You know five on five comp the kinda like old style. So that one. I i probably give more of a what. What would you call it in your class. Mark if you give people Maybe mr marc excuse me sorry stars built up you can trade in your gold star for like a mistake. You know i didn't do my homework. I give you back your. You've done a lot of extra credit some golden stars into your homework. This one time like all right. Hand the gold stars back over. Y'all had a hand to goldstar over after that draft. I like it. I think the way in one hundred because it coats feeling like we're all kind of sided I mean so. Here's the thing. And i was gonna gonna talk through it Top to bottom previously. I i was going to be more team. Liquid cited until the someday performance most recently holding impact in the blind. Gp and met him actually playing really well individually maybe in the third game where he he faced checks and gets kinda timing gang by spence garin for the first one and then gets repeated over and over the nar game. "Would you make them use the full name. As to like enforce your authority on these high school sits. I dunno know what zero fact reaction. Yeah so that's why. I'm not the cool on and i'm saying tsa npr. You guys are both hip with your three ones going with time. I'm still old boomer. Elliot's number scher. mr mark. Sounds weird there mark. How do you feel about saturday. Hundred these versus team liquid for the breath. I'm hide this a lot of great ask match And so i think this one is really hard to predict because of how good hundred looked in their own series. We talked about being probably should've been three one. If not from the danny insane play and the way that someday was able to go up against impact made me feel a lot better about what i thought was going to be a big problem for hundred thousand. This matchup i thought bottling for one hundred thirty s was going to be a bigger advantage in their favor but given how rome heavy it is and hundred. Ucsb l. Let's do it f. b. i. Landing advantage advantages. Not as important. That i would have given and so a lot of these. Little factors are making it harder for me to predict. I think i would have gone hundred years prior to this weekend in now even though they look good. I'm really prior to one hundred plus at all you would have still predicted them. Only because i would've predicted hundred these playoffs after tailgate seni- because i wasn't on the t. L. is amazing. Now hi trish. That's predicted last week. Now i've seen them do it here to another. I'm like okay. Sales african good dude. And then i would have been okay. Tlc wins but then what to do now park. isn't it mr marx class. that's i'm on. The whiteboard is drawn between classes. He's also in a constant state of indecision. Because i got to talk it through. Yeah okay i don't think before. Do you guys think before the dive. Never think including zero pre. Do that thing again..

"Masterclass in juggling fell. He was so efficient he was always there at the right timing to defend the dives on al far to protect him so he could get waves. He was always there when they were on the offensive at the perfect timing. Not actually sitting there for twenty seconds waiting for the waves crash. He's walking through tribe rush towards the tower as the waves crashing having killed camp right before zoning off the wave and his timing was just perfectly his passing was just like savant. It was it was insane. I just thought like his timing was so good consistently throughout that whole series and it really was. The biggest difference to me was just how well team played as a team. How well they moved as the squad. Their timing on rome's between jensen corta. Jason tauran el-farra tax go kind of just like in his own world doing his own thing farming. But it's like that that four or some grouping of that foreign a part of them were always together always moving around map delic while we're talking santorin. I mentioned on the desk but this is going to be as fourth straight potentially if he wins against one hundred thirty s that'd be as fourth straight finals. Small asterix on the fact that he couldn't play because a migraines last split but he had the two for qualified. I think he gets the credit. I i would say. That's why i say three in a row semi's right. yeah he. He played in sam. He's got his migraine then they beat. Tsn with our mayo. And then they qualified so like he gets credit he gets the credit for being there. So three straight in a row is pretty impressive teams during it whereas santorin on your mount rushmore. any jugglers. he's right up there with media and explicitly. I feel like pretty close to them. Is gaining ground quickly whereas bobber barnow on their libraries had way less. History wales successes. Because as much as you're saying oh he he's been around for he actually hasn't played in. Lcs for that long. It's like yeah six splits maybe not even splits for twenty nine hundred twenty one with the last with the last one to way less successes though i sin tour and really had like..

"Kind of like this and then they would actually make a better team player better macro play like that and it's just so impressive because it's it's not like they're crapping on their opponents. They're kinda picking them apart more. Where they're in situations to neutralize this heavy counter pick that was. Tsm's red sox game plan around topside to try and stop l. Far well core. Jj and the rest of the team actually just do a good job of making sure. Csm can't snowball and then they play better in the mid to late game and it's it's not slow because it's still really different style than the scale till twenty then team fight that we kind of saw more than the regular season. But it's just really cool to watch because it's not toll troll fiesta fighting and the cool thing about the gsm one that is an example is there are so many points where you could have had. It returned to a more standard game format. You can play defensive. You can go for the defense recall reset and try and defend but they kept going for these dives and each jayme was not backing down and so each team is making. Oh we're going to dive your toppling over forty one side. And they just keep on upping the ante of aggressiveness and that it was. It was another kind of refreshing moment of of looking at something. That is is a bit different from what the norm is. And i want to see how far that style can can be pushed and now that they're going to world. We already know that they're going to be able to test against the very best in the world as well. Yeah it's going to be really exciting. Cast casting that that game. Sometimes you're casting a game and it's zero zero. Fillings happened casting some of those games. It'd be league zero zero one zero and it feels like it's been action packed because there have been so many tempted plays that have been stopped by proper counterplay right and centurion. I just thought it was like masterclass in juggling fell. He was so efficient he was always there at the right timing to defend the dives on al far to protect him so he could get waves. He.

Profit, not politics: Trump allies sought Ukraine gas deal

"Self it turns out that Republicans don't trust Democrats very much to hold one on a standard why well because of Republicans do a thing it is considered very bad if Democrats in the exact same thing it is considered unquestionably decent let me give you a perfect example big headline from NBC news today trump blames energy secretary Rick Perry for Ukraine call at center of impeachment inquiry it's a present from his dad Rick Perry why because Rick Perry was pushing for the call why was Rick Perry pushing for the call because you wanted to open up natural gas and oil development in Ukraine to the west why does this matter because then the eight P. has a piece called profit not politics what's some from the allies did in Ukraine quote as Rudy Giuliani was pushing Ukrainian officials last spring to investigate one of Donald trump's main political rivals a group of individuals with ties to the president and his personal lawyer were also active in the former Soviet Republic they're in for profit not politics this circle of businessmen in Republican donors how did connections Giuliani and trump I'm trying to install new management at the top of Ukraine's massive state gas company the plan was then secure lucrative contracts to companies controlled by from allies according to two people with knowledge of their plans the effort to install a friendly a management team at the helm of the gas company called now still dies would we taken up by Ukraine's new president with Ukraine's new president by US energy secretary Rick Perry slate of candidates included a fellow Texan who's one of Perry's past political donors now you may be saying yourself hold up a second am I supposed to be suspicious of Rick Perry because Rick Perry has friends who are in the Ukrainian natural oil and gas sector in maybe are using dropping names in order to get ahead what if I switch in Emporia instead of Rick Perry just said Joe Biden I will I be suspicious anymore or does this vision disappear proof we're supposed to pretend it's not suspicious at all one hundred Biden ends up with no oil or natural gas experience pulling down fifty grand a month because Daddy's vice president of the United States I like that is that really is it like that this is why people are going nuts a okay you're gonna tell me it's super corrupt when friends of from are doing business in Ukraine with oil and natural gas but what is Joe Biden's son they were supposed to pretend that none of this matters at all like at all in all we're supposed to pretend that Joe Biden is pure as the driven snow and so is hunter Biden and any questions you ask about them are fully illegitimate yet again for the one thousand time if Donald Trump has no evidence and no serious questions to be asked about your by your hundred mine he's going after them for political purposes by leveraging military aid to a country under the front of the Russians in order to go after his political opponents solely and completely because of not corruption and nothing is one sixteen any election interferes with any of that but simply because he doesn't like Joe Biden not only that wrong it's impeachable but are we there yet I think we have a ways to go there first we'll get back to that

David Lee Quinn, the shop's owner insisted that this plan wasn't to embarrassed customers, quote, we wanted to give them something eumerus, but also something that made them think, at the same time, it's human nature not to want to be told what to do. They think you're destroying the planet by making them give you a plastic back k they don't wanna participate in your echo crime. So they've decided that if you ask for a plastic bag, they'll give you one. However, the east east west market in Vancouver, Canada will give you a plastic bag to carry your groceries in, but their bags advertise other stores like the colon care co op. Robert Whittaker Withdraws from UFC 234 vs. Kelvin Gastelum Due to Hernia Injury

"The case you missed it. Breaking news UFC two thirty four has taken a massive hit and there's no sunshine in here. No, sunshine, where any MMA fans are especially the ones in Australia because everyone was looking forward to Robert Whittaker the first Australian UFC champion getting an opportunity to finally defend that title middleweight title on his home turf in Melbourne later this evening, Rod Laver Arena sold out in ten minutes against Kelvin gasoline finally getting to see him back. Well, we just found out twenty minutes ago. The fight is off management has just confirmed with me as well. The fight is off. They're going to issue. A statement in a matter of moments Whitaker out due to a hernia fight cancelled Israel Sonny Anderson Silva's now the new main event so how does this affect Kelvin gasoline? How did he find out where does he go from? Here. Let's talk to his manager. Elliot does these who's joining us on the phone right now? Ali how are you? Oh, no. I'm good. It can be better. But you know, it's commander of the game, you know, seniors, and we have to get adjusted. When did you guys find out? I just find out dot com. Probably thirty minutes ago. Have a hernia. The hospital and now they have to perform. You know, he's a great champion. I always put it on the line. Unfortunately. He's not fighting. Twelve weeks heart camp make sacrifices, but you know, it wasn't awake cuts related issues. And he's just. As workers. Warrior. It will not more injury or even hard injury. Doc, even more from fighting. A great guy. We wish him nothing. But the best. Wish must be recovered his management just told me that he's heavily sedated as we speak and he's going into surgery, right? This moment. So like, I said a horrible tournaments for Robert Whitaker. What does this mean for Kelvin? What does the UFC told you? I know it's very fresh. But. You know is he going to get another title shot? What are they going to do with the belt? You have any idea. Day right now, I get to speak with Dana white. He said I personally. Calvin Calvin is the number one contender. He's gonna see what happened. Out. We're going to go ahead and see maybe the winner between Anderson Israel. Covered. You know? Maybe you can do it thirteen. You know, what's what's I'm kind of looking forward to. But let's see what happened. Did they try to keep Kelvin on the card was that ever discussed? No does not disgusting. I spoke to. Dana. And that does not discussed that. Oh, you know. Listen, I think you have a good minivan. Anderson Silva is great. I'm not sure this is going to be a five round or real. Oh. You know, it is what it is. I feel horrible rubber Whitaker. Yeah. I feel bad for coffee too. Under the right. How is he handling? It has been handling the news Kuban workers. Okay. Calvin was ready. We was ready. The Bishop of his life and. We believe he was going to be that, you know, that middleweight champ. But robert. No injuries taken away from the fight. And like, I said, you know. Nothing but respect and we wish him nothing, but speeder recovery, and I hope he's okay. We're talking to. You're not gonna hear me, you know, me get me on the program talking trash in promoting and get on people. But certain situation we have to be human. Absolutely. I think everybody out there. Everyone to give respect keep Robertson. They prayer. I wish nothing but the best talking to manager Elliot. Bill Aziz here on area who wanna show on ESPN radio's presented by Uber. Breaking news out of the world to the USC USC to thirty four tonight in Melbourne Australia on pay per view, Robert Wood. It covers coming gasping for the middleweight title cancelled that flight has been canceled because Robert Whitaker is going under the knife. In a matter of moments in Australia for a hernia certainly wish him the best. I'm curious Ali is Kelvin going to get paid. How's this gonna work because you just went through a training camp? What's the deal? I'm certain UFC has told you what they're gonna do. Can you? Tell us. Yeah. Always come through for me, you know. And he said he was going to kick out. You know, I understand you know, he went to a camp. And and you put a lot of money into it investment. A lot of money into it. And at the end of the day. This is. You know, I'm not worried about him. I know he will be paid. Thanks for doing this Ali very sorry about the news our best to to Kelvin as well. Speak for everyone. Everyone is bummed out about this. We're looking forward to it. I appreciate you coming on for a few minutes. He will take care. He was. And I have no doubt in my mind. Dana white and you'll see them because they're taking care of my guys sounds good. Thank you Ellie. Let's go back to the phone lines. Now talk to more fans. Breaking news again Robert Whitaker out of tonight's made event. Ernie a- surgery scheduled for Madame moments from now in Melbourne devastating news, not only for the UFC. But for Robert Whitaker who continues to get all these freaking bad breaks time. And again, he had shingles. Prior to the last time that they were in Melbourne with him headlining that card was supposed to be against Luke rock hold now. Just hours before the event he has to pull out and is going under the knife Joseph Detroit. How are you? Good. How about you area? I'm doing okay. Good. I just got a few questions for you that I think they should let the winner of tonight. And Calvin fight for the official title Whitaker should be stripped. It's just my opinion. Well, I wanna see how long he's out for this is definitely a bad break. But I typically like to subscribe to the rule that if you don't defend your title or you're not scheduled to fight within a year. Then you should be stripped in this case he last fought in June. So let's see how far he's out. Let's see how long he's out for. I should say let's see how long of a recovery this is needed. And then let's talk about stripping in. But I think right now, it's a little premature to talk about stripping. Because he pulled out last year knee injury. I think it's better for him. You don't have to take some time off. But my second question is not question opinion. True. They're gonna make McGregor verse Copley for the I think it should be Tony Emporia for the interim. Yeah, that's Donald Surani just talking right now from what I'm hearing the interim belt isn't being discussed. I don't think a belt is needed for that kind of fight. I don't think a belt elevates that kind of fight certainly not an interim title. So at this juncture, I think that's just cowboy talking and look he's going to get the fight. It seems like that's the front runner. I don't think you need to push for an interim thing anyone wants it, quite frankly, I think the interim belt would would almost like soil that that fight. I don't think anyone wants to see an interim belt online. I don't think either guys should be fighting for an interim belt when you have guys like Tony dust emporium ally. Doing what they've done as of late. Let's go back to the phone lines and say Hello to Corey in California, Corey how are you? Hey, I'm good. How you doing? I'm doing. Okay. Some some disappointing news, but we still have a car tonight. But yeah, it's it's a bummer. These things happen from time to time in in mixed martial arts and. I mean, this is a big one especially because it's the Australian who's now out of the card. Yeah. Honestly, like you said before man, I don't know how these injuries happened the day of the fight. How much are you actually doing? Such a serious injury. But I don't know it's fight game. And it happens. But. So my original copies I called about it. Now trying to shake up. I was gonna say do you think that Anderson is? His own legacy a little bit by taking these bigger fights with the much younger guys are like the fights with whatever, obviously, they're bigger fights. And he's a big name. And do you think that you have tarnished by throwing them into a fight with Israel, just because if Anderson, but then it turns around and now Anderson is card having a big name for Israel to fight. So do you think that enersen should lay off he's bigger fights? Or do you think he's finer you think his legacy Jenner hurt in the end after all this look if we're talking about tarnishing legacies? The only thing that's maybe tarnished his legacy. So to speak is the fact that he was caught with PD's twice other than that. I mean, I don't think opponents will tarnish anyone's like seeing fact to meet on the elevates your legacy because you're finding the toughest guys even as you're in your swansong so to speak. I like the fact that he's taken this fight. Everyone thought it was a mistake. It's an opponent that he thinks he could beat he's fourteen years older. He feels like maybe he's not as experiences him. Maybe he hasn't fought the kind of competition that he's. So I don't think this is. I mean, imagine he pulls it off great story George Foreman. It's like Randy tour all over again. So I honestly don't think that he's tarnishing his legacy on this one. Let's go to one quick call before we take another break Hamilton, Ohio. What's up man areas? A pleasure speaking with you. I want to go back to the UC days, or so I started hearing your voice. Boy that was handled by the UFC. I am so proud that you've come to where you had with the hard work. You've done to put yourself in today's position. Thank you know, as far as what's happening transplanted melborn sad. And that's the core. So the nature of the game. My question to you is at forty three year old is now put himself in position we he's probably going to be having to save this card. I understand that. There's not a lot of four weeks on your old man at his weight. They can do anything except maybe defend themselves. Does he really have a chance to see wing? And do you see this only in the heavyweight World War forty yours can compete one or two times? This gentleman is not tarnishing his world. It just a building him being allowed to do this because of his name and his past of fighting really realistically can this man really compete at this level with this young kid. I mean that remains to be seen. I don't think it's a bad matchup firm. In fact, I'd say he's too big of an underdog. I'm curious to see if he can turn back the clock tonight. But yeah, it's a great call to great point. The best news is this flight hasn't been canceled. So we're about to find out in a matter of moments in a matter of hours, whether or not Anderson Silva can hang with Israel to Sonya after the break. We're going to be joined by my colleague, my partner shell son. And he's in Melbourne. I want to get his take on things. He knows coming gasoline almost better than anyone. He was the one who drafted him on the ultimate fighter way. Back when devastating news Robert Whittaker's out of tonight's UFC two thirty four main event. And I just got details about how it all went down. I'll tell you about all that and more right after the break. You're listening to Hawaii's may show right here on ESPN radio and ESPN app this
