"Okay. So let's talk food and drink food and drinking Lisburn is in my experience. Fantastic. He got to know where to go I suppose a four, avoid the touristy places like I mentioned. That goes for anywhere in the world seafood fish and meat as well. I'm very affordable if you manage to find out of normal everyday neighborhood restaurant, incredibly good value the two nights that we were there we ate out. We paid for basically three calls meal and a bottle of wine something like that. He five euros really fantastic mine. Good. But. In terms of what you're gonNA find commonly on offer. So called back allow. Everyone dry salted card. Millions of ways of preparing it. You a buck, allow a brush with his shredded with onions and eggs and potatoes. Commonly found up in the body. Alto, you quite simply just have grill court. You'll have all types of fish. Tuna monkfish Saudi grilled very simply with `tatoes and solid is very common. Main course you'll find octopus Shuna shrimp clams and snails as well. Snails a quite popular but one of my favorite preparations of the evac allowed is the crocodile. Basically, unlike Spanish croquettes excuse ones made we'd like a special source inside but they're made with potatoes. Mashed potato flaked back allow caught flake tuned mix with Parsley, garlic salt and pepper, and then sometimes I coated in ICA breadcrumbs and fried absolutely delicious delicious net. You find them lots of hole in the wall kind of places around the city just to take away. Sort of little tap pass almost you can find them no restaurants but some restaurants will offer them as a starter or is this snack to go with a drink I would highly recommend trying it would be remiss of me not to mention the PASTELLE THEY NATTA? Or the Space Benneteau pastiches the plural postal they not. In the singular these are the famous egg custard tarts -solutely. Wonderful. Very addicted there. Yeah. It cost tossed. So actually been to the Catholic monks, the state of the those shown Emot- in Milan. Famously. Served since eighteen thirty, seven in ANTIGA compete career they bellum and you can find them everywhere in the city today absolutely everywhere so that Chris Puff Pastry missed spilled with custard cream baked until the golden. Then they dusted with cinnamon most famous place to try them. As I said, is the Pasta de Belem which has been going since eighteen, thirty seven. Interestingly, the origin behind the pastiche was the nuns amongst us to use egg whites to staunch their clothes. So the quite stops that Claes hence, they always had loads and loads of headaches leftover. Addition I ordered one evening when we ate out in his beautiful little restaurant up in the valley. Was a dish called face Wada face water is a skew of beans beef and pork notch. I didn't really know what it was until I. Basically just said to the guy in the restaurant. What would you recommend? Is the most delicious thing. Many what would you order and he said to me all you must. You must try the phase weather and wow. This is really huge portion really heavy stew of beans beef pork. They also throw in like blood sausage and basically Portuguese version of Theresa, which is jewelry so Cook Taylor and low heat from time. Wow. It's so labor. So I was absolutely blown away by this this served with a side of rice and disobeys excited. But absolutely delicious Berry Hardy probably more of a winter dish. If I'm honest I was absolutely stuffed in food camera of eating it but it was so flavor sunlight just couldn't stop myself. So the face Wada, it reminded me a lot of the Prada you find in the north of Spain and also reminded me slightly off the Costea the Madrileno the St that we get here Madrid over his son is something that you would only really wyndhams. Maybe onto drink the thing which is very typical in Lisbon very specific to Lisbon is this little tipple. Little Cherry Cure Code Jinja. defined a Lisbon and it's a little cherry cure said, served a little shot glasses sell in various kiosks around the city or holy war bars. Sometimes, it sources served in a little chocolate cops drink than a little cherry to cure, and then you eat the chocolate up as well. Many step to. Do. Try It. It's it's an acquired taste. I guess I like it so. I think carrying the Senate. Reminded her of. Cough medicine. In fact, while we were there, we went to the home, the birthplace of Ginger, and here's a little bit of audio recorded where. I'm standing outside a place called. Gene? Has Jinya some locals describing having a quick shot now time to a hole in the place. Engineer is Cherry to cure and you can order. With Whole Cherries. Now With Cherries the. marinated pickled in in the alcohol kind of faded. Color. So you can have a cure with or without a couple of chairs in drink gets a brown red color as you would expect and the place where we've just ordered one. was actually invite gallician named espy neither. was. The first shop in Lisbon to sow the beverage After which is named and soon became one of the city's Ex Lieber. Advised by a fire from the Gracia descent Antonio. Espanola made the experiment of Letting Cherries ferment in brandy adding sugar water and Cinema. Success was immediate. Both because it was sweet because it was inexpensive engine genia became the typical beverage of Lisburn and it's true. You can find these little engineer holes in the walls around the city but also probably nicer she and some of the little squares they have these little gin. Yeah. Stems little mini bars inside metal kind of very decorative very pretty on metal round pick a bit like sort of news. Kiosk. Stands the old style ones but they actually settled. Virginia let's go quite a kick to it. Looks Good. Okay. So how long should you spend in Lisbon while we were there for two nights in about two and a half days? I guess I would say warrants a bit more time we can fit and everything, but we would have liked to have done is the perfect city to visit for maybe three nights four days or maybe not five nights and they're also really beautiful places to visit surrounding Lisbon like the town of Sintra. Cash as well. One thing is worth mentioning is language now obviously Portugal Portuguese now when I see Portuguese Richard. I can almost understand. A good level when you see Portuguese return, it looks very similar to Spanish I.

"But that's only because that's what the trend has been a tommy. Just seems like that. He is head and shoulders above the field. Yeah I probably would say the told me slightly bigger threat than MRI but I still think missy is still a huge threat. She's a huge immunity threat. Clearly when Krishna made this decision you obviously didn't know Erin had inverted out. So she had her number as well. She's really big game. I like I think he's a threat but Karesh law really notice how she's the saved. She uses it so beautifully even in the scene where she's pretend trying to be steak and like no one is doubting that and she's just like where am I now. Everyone just goes with. It was amazing. She knows she's like I'm seen as a and I. I think it's been stated in survivor comments. Something I would say is like I hate saying this because I meant to be right now but going to the ending getting zero voids. It's pretty much like the worst fate except except for probably the So griffeth probably thinking cat found neidl have some power. Let me try and play my game with people who might play with me rather than use me other than get to the end take eighty five thousand dollars as you know who's getting zero votes this way. Maybe she won't get to the end as security but she might have a better chance of winning wing and for that I. Yeah okay. It's GonNa be interesting to see how this plays out with mines. Where where does she fit into what Tommy is doing? Because for Elaine Tommy like I. I don't understand what the alliance is at this point where I understood like going into last week's episode that there was some sort of like okay posts swap Foci. That's the group but now take Aaron and missy out of it so now it's is it like are we back act two original VOCA. It's that is the the five of the alliance basically that it is Tommy. Lauren Lauren. Dan Elaine and in charisma and Dean and Dean back together in my mind right now out having separated them in having had such huge power shifts happen in the separation because in Ghost island they pretty much did just begun them so it was easy to kind of understand how instructions come back together now. They both really flipped on like the majority. I can't really imagine how these groups back together. It's a little crazy. I love how it walked out. I just think if you're charisma I feel like getting rid of Tommy. I feel like disrupts the power structure a little bit more like. I can't feel like that for MRI that her next move would have been the after taking a Tommy out of the game. I feel like that again. They didn't know that Aaron was going to Go Home I did see him on the jury but hard to imagine where. Krishna is one of the next targets but I guess she's not one of the next targets either way. Yeah I mean I think I just charisma than can probably see her fate with Missy missy wants to take her to the end will just be a MRIs been trying to as she said a million times times us for so long to the point where she kept charisma if it Chelsea which I was terrible at the time totally lighten agree with that. Now I mean just the fact that imagine grist mill which would Chelsea Ya missy would have been fine. She would have had made allies. Elizabeth Chelsea rather than me didn't WanNa work with. She was basically like a goat against her will. So this way way maybe it just upsets the apple a little more for her personal fate. Maybe the game structures a little bit more intact that she can kind of sheet. Mickey's gone so that was like her showroom Chaudri to the end to being regarded nationally. Maybe has a new people to work with. I can try and work something out for herself. within maybe more existing power structures in the game was at the talk. I just don't know when Tommy is going to get voted out. I feel like that this was just such an opportunity because of the way that the tribes were split that this was almost like. I don't know when this would come up again to be able to have the shot and I thought that Missy yes. She was formidable. But I feel like they were going to be other opportunities to get missy out. I think think that based on the number of people that were still in the game and people that might want to take a shot at MRI like I feel like that was still on the table to go after missy especially with out of the game. Yeah I mean. I don't think it'd be changing decision. Maybe Tribal Council once you've already like set something in stone and then you see Aaron's gone which was shocking the looks on that was amazing yet. Elizabeth that was an incredible moment. talked about emotion vessels logic and this was the emotional decision for sure She went with people that made her feel better. That's an emotional thing but to me like I often see them as that different like I think people who make you you feel better emotionally like this logical credit to that You have to live out with these people. It's a new day twenty-seven hopefully you're gonna be doing almost two more weeks on that island like IC- logic take to being with people who are actively trying to work with rather than trying to use you you make you feel better about yourself like the way that charisma has been made to feel by these players. Is that she just is a shell of based on what she was in the previous investment. What we see now? She's completely deflated by the way if she gets a foothold in even emotionally with people that she wants to work with. Did you might be a whole different person. She might be a whole different playoff rather than being with someone who obviously brings down in a really negative way like the energy levels emotions. I see more connection between the logic and the EMOT- if MRI was to me a much much less a threat than told me that I would say okay you have to divide emotion from logic considering juicy MRI as a threat. I think be kind to yourself. Take choice that is that is kind to yourself. Make the emotional twice. That has logical. Marriage will show. I want to ask you about what you thought about. There's a lot of charged language in this episode. Once we start talking about bullying you know something that people take very seriously as they as they should and I thought it was an overreaction from charisma based on what we see and of course we don't see everything that was going on and I also don't want to take that away from charisma if that's how she was feeling but when she was saying to miss it like Whoa whoa calm down calm down. I didn't see based on what I saw like I didn't see missy shouting. I didn't see missy was intense and going. You know very Fast but I didn't think that she was anything but calm. If in fact I feel that one MRIs things is I don't think we've ever seen MISSY MRI get too hot or too cold. In the game I feel like that missy is almost always at the same exact speed. Yeah I think it would be foolish for any any of us to try and define as bullying on bullying watching forty two minutes a week. So I'm not even going to attempt that but I agree like if I could go back and re watch one scene which I you know I wanNA do behold podcast it would be kind of trying to see how MRI approached charisma in that moment to walk away was pretty extreme even in winning the fishy. I'm like Shouli better that away that you can do it rather than literally walking away but at the same time like it almost doesn't matter like this twenty seven days of history. Yeah I know they swapped pot for a bit. There's so much history there where isn't open to what midfield saying based on previous negative interactions so to ask we might see pretty objectively like I did think MRI seemed archaic. She made a little hyped up. About saving. Charisma agency is like really fiery towards Krishna. It's just based on that really negative relationship the NFC does have to win like the way that she's made charisma. Co is clearly really negative over four weeks in the game and she encourages readers right like look at the way the MRI talks about charisma. Confessional use of the word. I use a the way that she was very negative in our confessional as she was apologizing legitimizing like he didn't genuinely feel that so charisma. Read that there's really no love there. Between the modern thing they ever has been you conscious. Pick up pieces like the Chesapeake Aviva human beings and you. It'd be nice to them. It will always be easy to be equal in the game and I think Mris relationship with Krishna came back to do my right now. I think it's very hard to make the the type of move that missy was trying to pull off tonight with somebody that you are not really on a good footing with that. I think it's one of the Seven Habits of highly effective people that you need to go slow to go fast. Where if you don't have sort of the relationship ship in place it's very hard okay? Here's the deal. We're doing this this this and we've seen it on survivor in the past where that has worked but for whatever reason charisma was just not on board to go with this plan that missy was dropping on her pretty late in the game. Yeah I mean I often talk about social capital as currency of the strategic game and you're busy was broke in her relationship with Krishna. There was there was nothing there. It's not like it's not hard to determine these things often when I talk to play as it's like. Why did you go with this group? That didn't make a lot of number sense what I just liked him better. I just felt better with them. That's mostly what survivor is. I think it behooves Krishna to go with people who make us so. Yes she for Krishna. Fish mayes deficient. I like this idea of social capital. I'm gonNA write so like what is some sort of an idea where survivors had some sort of like a bank account that they could work offer during the game. Just let's let's let's. Let's see if we can workshop that maybe we'll figure good that out all right. Maybe we've talked so much about the SEC in tribal council. Let's talk a little bit about the first first one where we saw. Somehow Janet stayed. I mean I thought that this was the most hopeful note of the entire episode. Is there a shot here that Janet could win the game. I feel like we had a couple of weeks ago. The prophecy that a woman is going to win the game that that was the I mean we. We saw BA. Basically our our to our two experts Robin Sandra of Sarah Sanders. Says I think a was GONNA win. This game. Robson was born at night. Not last night chat do you do you feel like is that. Is that a thing. The prophecy that a woman will win the game. Because Robinson wrong zoo trolling. Then they're always like oh that person's on going home and then they do so. Yeah I mean I would put my money on still buy yes. Well women can be Janet. Yes that's what I'm asking ask because I would've I would've said that missy was probably the person that I had the most faith in being able to pull it off coming into tonight tonight. I think I'll lane is very much in that conversation. Jad It's in that conversation. But there's so much tommy evidence or at least that. In terms of where Tommy's position I think Lauren is certainly in that conversation as well but it did. I felt that was weird. That they gave us that Robin Sandra You know basically saying I was. I guarantee a woman's going to win this game and rob doesn't even want to feel like that's a real prophecy for C.. Of for where we're going but I still have not seeing how somebody's GonNa get around. Tommy there's going to be a one time to the reunion of Robin Sandwiches is being wrong about things and the winning is going to be like the final point..

The ball is lost in the first-round white towels lack of white towels that is caught he found that his latest course and he had twenty minutes talking about that to the empire and the lost so talking thing about is a is it modeled wave pitting if something up that interaction yes well some of the words used began with so so and he goes on to cincinnati now and he's been drawn in in jock itch quarter which it means. We are desperate for that to happen. A make it so two zero is the head to head for nick carroll's. Chuck rich is plan rather that a needed when when those two matches happened curious at all these things to say about jackovitch including how he's going to do is celebration in his face if he reuss to beat him. "Jerry Hollis Thomas. We're here late o'clock tonight. Phillies lose fifteen to one. Braves that actually lost fifteen to one of the nationals earlier this season, yet, the worst loss of the year was tied for the worst loss of the year. Now. You're listening twice in a season fifteen to one except that game was here. Can you imagine actually say hey, let's go to the fills game? And that's the game. You go to. I mean look, you take your chances when you go to a game you never you could see a no hitter. Could see a perfect game? Fifteen to one game this. April tenth is what causes Ronald, rob. He took his daughter to the game for the first time before you had to see. Twelve. That's pretty bad today was last year, though. I went to a game in the closing days. I think it was the last year. The vet a bunch of friends of mine. We have great seats, the Gianluca Vishnu, one of my friends got us. Great seats, and it was seven nothing in the eighth inning top of the, let's get out there. They're going to win this game. Let's scatter. They scored rut to the bottom of the eighth and it was fourteen enough and seven runs. But still was like hit that point. Was it didn't matter? But when you I hate when you get your seat, and it's already to nothing to teams down you get there late. That's no fun. But baseball's like you could go to a great game. The opener this year was great. The opener in years past has been awful. I've been some openers, where the weather was miserable, and the play was even more miserable. Perfect. The opening day. They won six nothing was that it was. And I don't even think. Ten to four two four zero Noah didn't even pitch that well, but he only gave up like one run or no runs in six innings just walked a bunch of people. But it was it was a fun game. They, you know they tagged the ball a lot. It was just it was just a great game to go to. But I've gone openers in the past just I mean, like thirty degrees and just like a horrible horrible game. And I'm like, I can't believe I spent all this money to go to the opener, and it's this bad. See who homered in that first game. Hoskins homered, Franko homered mccutchen Homer. Harper was Harper walked a couple of times, I walked once his one for over three a walk. But you had everything just about everything you wanted and that opening game Nola went six innings. Two hits one run five walks in the opener, or you go to a game arts fifteen to one. That's like that's it happens. It happens. Yeah. I think it was a Kansas City game. I was last year, the year before, and it was just it was like seven it was brutal. It's been some of the open days of terrible. But you just never know the baseball what you know. Game again. But we all now. Believe this was the seventy first game. So this is not the opener. No. But thank God, imagine if you go all the way to Atlantic because people make road trips. I've done road trips you know to watch games in different cities. We went to a game in. With some friends who went to a game in Toronto. I think in two thousand nine went to two games the Friday night game. They lost ten to nothing and my friend was so upset. He gave his hat away, gave his Phillies hat away to anybody. Because he just said, I can't deal with this anymore. The next the next night day one, but. Ten nothing and they lose ten nothing and then they win and I took my daughter a game in, in Boston about and two thousand ten or so. And Phillies we're up to nothing in the first inning they've lost ten to two. It was awful. We went all the way to Boston their brains beat intended to. Let's get to L Miguel was actually at the game. But gallon North Carolina ninety. What's up fellas? Happy Father's Day. So you drove down for the game. Yeah, I live in Charlotte area, I grew up in the Lehigh valley been down here for like ten years, so okay? Drill down with my voice to make it a little Father's Day trip in my little ten year old Gerald. I really never saw. Wow. I feel it's like, hey, this guy's going to be really good this year. Listen. It's funny. I got I got tickets for for the Phillies July. PA family, and we gotta go watch the Braves again. So I hope it hoping coin man hope things better, but more together. But you probably said yourself boy, we could've gone last night. May. We just didn't go to the game. We just kind of. Well that's the that's the game you should've picked the wrong one but hey, bad day at the ball field is still still better than kinda graphs and stuff now. And, and I and I don't know much about it lands new stadium. It looks nice and all these statements kind of look alike. Which is good because they're all nice stadiums. And even if you go to citizens Bank park in the team loses ten to nothing. It's a great ballpark. It's you always have a good time. Yeah. Real nice outside area to call the battery, you know, to got like chops and it kinda like extend Eli and stuff out there was the kids had a good time. Yeah. You know, I it will definitely be memorable. We'll put it that way. I'll say baseball has figured out how to make the game fan-friendly for everybody, right? Yeah. Yeah. No doubt. But, but yeah I'm on the road back to Charlotte. So I heard you guys talking about making a road trip network. Well, I feel bad about your kids, but I'm sure they'll see something better. At some point. Absolutely. Hopefully that game in July. We're up there. Thanks. We, we used to take my we'd take my daughter for birthday to a game every year around her birthday sometimes on her birthday, but we for several years we did, like group like ten fifteen to twenty people, and I swear for three or four years running. They got shut out on her birthday, and she it was at a point where she said, I'm jinx, I'm a mush Finally I had to tell her you went to game five of the World Series where they won the World Series. You went to game one or the Jimmy walk-off game the following year, and you went to ROY holidays per no hitter Napoles. You're not emot-. Goes on your birthday. You went to three of the greatest games in Phillies history. So all right. That's my Father's Day. These what do you got for the calendar? For today today is Jill. The sixteenth this one hundred sixty seven day of year. There's ninety eight days left. You know they were close didn't close amid time dealer started at eight hundred eighty four. When the very first rollercoaster was presented to us at Coney Island wasn't a wooden one. Yes, it was a wooden when it was. It was one of the first ones the first roller coasters were wooden. Have you ever been to Kodiak? Never been to come that kind of drove by and waved at it a little bit as a kid with my grandmother, we used to go there now was a pretty cool, but we didn't go on a that the roller coasters Hoover, too young to the roller coasters, they probably thought it was dangerous force. The went on this other there's some of the tamer rides, they took us the Nathan's as well. So. Have you been on a wooden roller coaster recently? Because they still have some wooden roller coasters. No, I would not go you go on any roller coasters at all. Sometimes sometimes we going. I'm not as daring as it used to be as, as a young young lead. You like the ones where you drop or the ones we had turned up side down like with girls. Yo, hey daddy, look at us. And I'm on the ground watch we take bitch. So you don't like their you're not ended roller coasters. I as a kid, I got I like the roller coasters as an adult not as much. But when my daughter wanted to go on them, and needed somebody go on or whether I had to do it, get it was actually fun. I don't like the ones we had turned upside down. I like to go fast turns upside change come back. Well, that's, that's why I don't like to. We go to nineteen o three with the Pepsi Cola. Pepsi Cola company of first time. Yeah. Do you know David go go away is go with David? Galloway. Garra Gabrielle away. No. He was he was he was the today show host in eighteen gal. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I, I remember he was fired off the today show today. Why what did he do this? Well, that's how you because you you'll originally hosted a today. Show states somewhere in the fifties. I don't remember why he was fired by was it reminded me of the American story of how addict Klug at it up here. This was not. I don't think this was anything nefarious, because, because dick Clark was the big thing here Philadelphia, but Bob horn, got fired physical drunk driving. Some, some. Mm sort of some familias caper. I do remember that those that boy that Dana Carvey, George Hw Bush impression only sort of have memories of the actual, George W Bush is president. But when I when I think of him, I'm really thinking, Dana, Carvey character, people always people always distinguish impressions verses imitations. I never remember which is which but it's like the difference. A comedian comic. Like, there are some people who do a medic exact duplicate, and then there are other people who exaggerate certain qualities. What's funny is the ladder? Maybe look like the maybe don't exactly sound like them. But yeah, the wouldn't be prudent not gonna do it. Like, that's just that's imprinted on my brain. Now. But I think he did it out. And I really think that Trump is taking a variety of Hitler pills, thinking taking hovers downers and serotonin pills, all kinds of mood regulators. Our tone of pills. You don't talk about that longer seat. Him pills? Face gets puffy. Now, I think that the president is taking some Hitler pills and his face looks very puffy. And I and I do think it the later in the day. It gets have you ever noticed that you like rarely see him in the evening on like talking? He's getting puffier rather just being being underpants in bed. It's pretty much just as rallies, but like he's rarely doing dignified like public. At least. I can't think of a lot of prominent examples. I really think he struggles at the end of the day think he's taking he's probably getting administered uppers during the day downers at night. "Yeah. Well, one of the things I wanted to touch on was how inexplicably angry you were through your art form at fourteen. It's weird angles. Are we had one because it's also just like energy? They think when your hormone all teenager, you feel the surge of energy and in a way, it's so hard to understand. I mean, sexuality and the power of like all that stuff happening and confusion. It's so inexplicable and overwhelming that I almost think anger is like an easier emot-. Shen to tune it into sure. So I think that's probably why of teenagers like angry music is that it's like I feel so editor what to I'll scream and so for me. There was I guess some sort of catharsis in that. But even I was pretty lame like, my I like volume and Washington. I didn't really like Mike expressions of rage. When not particularly poignant. It was more like play acting like the volume in the aggressiveness. Yeah. Yeah. Tricky toz and drums, and you know, we're you inspired by another intense artists. Well, there was growing up in the time. I was late eighties early nineties in Australia. When I started getting into music it was. Just as alternative music was about to bubble up over the mainstream with Novon or and everything. So so I think Navonna coming to a straight year ninety to ninety one whenever that was was a really big thing for me because I saw previously. I'd been into music in the eighties growing up. I loved the pitch up always and motley Crue, and Bon Jovi and things that were sort of like, hyper produced sure and in a way unreliable and the amazing thing about what punk rock does every time. It reenters popular consciousness even. I think of like you get that. Now with rap music a lot like something like Tyler the creator. Like, it just comes out of things. He's making these bedroom. Every time it resurfaces that punk attitude. It levels the playing field. And it says, hey, you need a lot of stuff. You don't need a lot of money just make things make things on your do it. And that's like what Nevada did for me at that level. But then there was a lot of bands, you know, stray Lia in the indie scene and punk scene that we're very influential to me with the same energy of just like it wasn't about glamour wasn't about looking cool. It wasn't bad thinking you're ever gonna be famous. It was just trying to be awesome gonna be loud. And like, you know, aggressive and exciting. Yeah. Well, a lot of times, we gather our friends and ultimately partners love interest through mutually shared interests. And a lot of times that's involving literature or music or humor. Did you have a peer group that were also into this punk movement? I was bit that kind of person who I drag people with me in the Ming. So like the first band, I put together noise addict, the other guys in the band, couldn't even it didn't matter whether they could play the instruments they were assigned, but they had access to them. So the drama he's it was actually his brother was a drama kit. Sure, Josh all the drama. He never wanted to be a drama his brother had a drum kit. I was that guy. I was so just bull headed and determined to do what I wanted to do that. And again these way like the punk energy. It didn't matter that he couldn't play them. No, he had them. And he wanted to do it and enthusiasm was all matted and still like, I'm letting tennis at the moment. And I'm still the guy like what I have no technique. But I have a lot of I'm scrappy. Yes. I have a lot of these Alam make it happen with whatever I've got. So all go after the shots that no one else. Go getter. Yeah. And that's kind of how I was a kid starting a band. We'll do it. We'll do it. Let's make it happen. And when you said to your friend whose brother had a drum kit, you'll be the drummer had friend, according to you anyways, had no interest in drum. How'd that go over? He was like, okay..

Just ask your smart speaker for Alexa, play twelve hundred w A on iheartradio. That sounds like a pretty good choice land back. Pillow riley. Let's talk a little bit about what the Democrats should be learning. And what they're not learning cavenaugh since that since that nightmare. Looks like the poll numbers are are switching dramatically at least in the Senate. Yeah. Senate polls have been really good for Republicans since the nothing which I don't know if that's a huge surprise anybody. But I mean, you know, Beddoe is now down by looks like eight to Ted Cruz, which is about double lead. He had before that in as Bill mentioned Taylor swift comes out and talks about how bad Marsha Blackburn in his latest poll has her up by fourteen emot- was thought to be a up race. Yeah. I mean, it's I don't think the Democrats are learning their lesson. And yet they're doubling down built. I'd like to hear your thoughts on on what Eric Holder said this week and Hillary Clinton. Yeah. I I paid more attention to what Kanye west and Taylor swift. Hillary Clinton and right shoulder. Dennis miller. Thanks, Eric Holder is really stead been Oprah's boyfriend, and they look alike, and you put that up on the blaze side-by-side anyway. There's a few interesting things in play. Here. Beto has raised thirty eight million dollars in the last six months or so which is breaks every work in the world. Where is that money coming from coming from Soros and his guys and the Hollywood people and all of that. So he'll stay competitive. I think you'll lose. Let me stop there. I've met people who have given to both sides millions of dollars. They're not happy with the party that loses. When you give a lot of money, and the party says, no, this is the one this is going to change everything. And then you lose especially if they lose by eight points, but those are normal people the real shadowy guys. That's what's Beddoes getting me getting a big Soros money coming in. I guess maybe mean, he doesn't all the day just want, you know, search and destroy. So think you know, I agree with you back. And that always hurts my toes when I say that there is a backlash and that the cavenaugh spectacle, alienated decent. I'm when I say decent. I mean, fair minded people both democrat and Republican. You know, when you have an and I bring this up a lot. No, one working for you. And no one working for me could have tweeted out. Well, Cavanaugh was confirmed. But at least we destroyed his life. Remember that tweet. Yes. Did it come from came from Letterman's riders coal bear bear? All right. Yeah. You're right. Right. Sorry. Okay. One of the. Colby. One of the writers are Kobe tweeted that out. Okay. One of the most hateful things I've ever seen. So if that happened in your organization, my organization, and that person wouldn't be working for if we would have if we would have tweeted out. But at least we got a Ford least we lease. We rally destroyed her it would have been a horror show the person would not be working today. And they probably couldn't go out of the house. So people know this even if you like cold air, which I don't even if you are sympathetic to Dr Ford and all of that stuff, even if you're buying into it, you've got no all right that the rhetoric and the plan to destroy human beings is not what America's all about. Yes. It's not, and and you know, when you think in history Stalin and Hitler, and and what they did by destroying their opposition later on was physically. But in the beginning, they couldn't murder people. But they did it other ways. And that's exactly what we're seeing here in America. The hate is rising the fear is rising all of this is in play and guys like you. And I unfortunately, we have to fight against this. And then that puts us in. They kills on. But to get back to the politics. I do think there's going to be a backlash. I'm not sure about the house of representatives. But the Senate I believe will be even more Republican than it is now. So let me let me ask you this. If if they do have they they lose the Senate where just a few weeks ago the person who is in the best position to win for the Republicans was Ted Cruz. Any was only one or two points ahead. Of of Beto. So he was in the best position. Now, it looks like they could if I mean if it's a good day they could end up with a majority of fifty four fifty five. Yeah. That's significant if especially with, you know, Donald Trump is president the most hated man of all time, if if they do lose, do you think they will say, okay, wait a minute, this democratic socialism, this anger. Never going to do that. They're going to they're going to go harder. Don't you think? Of course. I mean, these people are really really deranged, and there are some on on the right? Like that as well. Yes. Nearly the numbers on the left. And of course, a media promotes that. But if they win the Democrats win the house, then you're going to hear you're not gonna hear anything about the Senate. Yes. And the house, you know, that's a little shaky because as everybody knows the first term Clinton, I ran Obama. They lost yours some and and the opposition party. You always have won the house. Right. And it's Americans deal usually vote. Yeah. So Bill how do you feel about the use of the word? The m word. You. Yeah. You know, the m word you're not gonna use the murderer. You. Don't know what it is back with me. I am not Bill to to anchors on CNN this week freaked out because a guest was saying the word when he was talking about these protesters about cavenaugh were. And they they sat around the side going. There's some up there look at the mob. But now you can't do that. Of course, it's a mob. That cavenaugh thing was there was no better example in modern political history than that a mob in that. No, better example, are the numbers quickly. I've got about twenty five seconds are the numbers in cable news, still going down are people waking up to this..

"Call it basketball backbone i don't know what it is he doesn't just shrink he fades and disappears you cannot rely on james pardon when it matters most which is why i didn't love this team even with cpi three and i'll never forget the great magic johnson was sitting here right before the regular season started and he shocked me by saying that he favored the thunder more than he did the and he's got thunder would go farther than the rock right well obviously they didn't but i got his drip and i was with him that i just didn't trust this team to get to the finals now we get back to the three issue ninety so maybe he could have got him home in the last if you'd had him for both the last two games they won the gold state was in such a deep hole i just think i'm with you just he would stabili yes he would inspire he would call he would whatever it took he would fire up whatever emot shen of the moment was required i think chris could have been the leader on the floor because what what was chris paul doing james harden has yet to do every bigshot that was taken was made by chris paul coming home it was i would agree this was horrendous this this was expanded game six of last year against my spurs i don't even want to repeat the numbers because they are so bad they're really embarrassing in a one game scenario but that was your close out game on this houston floor with no clue leonard and no tony parker for san antonio and they got blown off the floor and i still don't know what happened to james in that game but this was expanded over really the last six games because he opened with forty one in game one they lost but he scored forty one so he was off the hook for game one and then from over the last six he was just horrendous from three twenty percent over six games the last three games it got worse because he went to seventeen percent and then when they need.

"Right he'll get you a few buckets here and there and some rebounds but he's playing pretty good defense and the fact that derrick favors coyly winning that match up against mellow has been huge in this series a chance to be able to be an x factor for the under just because he can still score sometimes maybe i don't know i would think so but he's about played by favors and that's been bad for contract you to this is good good for him but what sort of control westbrook captain ought as well like will he will he come out like just a crazy man like you didn't gain full and pick up some early fazal willie sort of realize like he has to rein in that sort of emotional little bit of the stop because if he goes down then then that completely toast jazz are definitely when westbrook because you know he's gonna shoot a lot he's going to go down gun they're going to try and flop a couple times no doubt to get some cheapie offensive fouls get him emot ronald yeah it'd be shocked if that doesn't happen and then go pear is there i mean when i was ready in that game five how to tweet ready when they were chamber tweet was going i was like trying to craft and it was like basically about rudy gobert is living in his head he's taken up residence in westbrook's head as he does a lot of guys and run it right i swear out right around when i was going to tweet that you know he picks up his and he's all right sort of time has passed i took too long to try and get this right and then and then the comeback happened but it's truly when he was in there westbrook would still attack at times but he would be very hesitant to shoot it because you're you know what block so yeah it's that's like their only hope i almost feel unless westbrook and he streaky has the jumper in the three point shot going.

"Yes so tomahawk big now we'll do five shows a week now i don't see one i think now that your time is open you know i think in fda is definitely he doesn't have a face no he doesn't have schedules doubt yeah i think it'll be important to spend more time with the family you know they've been great obviously during the season you don't see him very much i would get here about seven and get home about seven and just in time to took the kids in before they go to bed during the season so being home a little bit more will be great i'm excited to be a fan i mean honestly when you're a player especially as you become i think older in the league you understand that you have to focus so much more on just your job and you can't get wrapped up in the emot shen of every game the emotion of every play that happens out there in so you almost become a robot when you're on the field like you go to the sideline all your thinking about it's my job my opponent what's next play what's coming next and you're not even emotionally invested in what's on the scoreboard because you can't be because that's draining and it's like this do your job mentality that helps you become a great player but it removes some of the love of the game from the beginning because why does everyone love being a football player and a football fan it's the emotional highs and lows come along with taking the lead and then losing the lead in scoring in two minutes and then losing the game more than coming from behind and winning like being emotionally attached is what's fun for fan and so i'm excited to sort of bring that back into my life as awesome now for those that have been living under a rock joe is the nfl ironman he played every offensive snap from his rookie season in two thousand seven up until week seven in two thousand seventeen when his arm pretty much just fell off his body they try to amp.
