"Listen they didn't have a great performance against the steelers. I think they're going to get back on track. I think josh allen is a positive play. Of course. I think he is a big game. Stefan digs emmanuel sanders was targeted. A decent amount. Kobe's veasley did alright as well. So i definitely think you know for me. I feel like emmanuel. Sanders might be somewhat a positive flex play depending on how deep your leagues are. I don't think any running back for the bill should be started because really nobody did anything on the ground against the steelers and single terry. On one of the one of the field goal drives. He had a total of forty nine yards in on that drive alone and i think he finished her like seventy two rushing yards so that one drive was about three quarters of his total for the game so really did nothing on the ground for the bills. But yeah i think digs josh allen. They're probably you know the positive plays for this weekend's the dolphins and then on the other side dolphins in due to bad against the patriots. I mean nobody really blew you away. Jalen waddell had a touchdown. Mike ezekie goose egg. I don't trust him. I don't trust sick if you have him. Look for other options. because he just. I don't trust him in fantasy. I think ronald could be a positive play I definitely think that devante parker could be a guy that maybe is a flex play. We'll follow comes back this week so i think he could possibly be an option to. I'm a little. I'm still a little skeptical with two. I think maybe hold off on him for another week But definitely showed. Some signs of improvement against the patriots definitely played better than i thought he was going to play. So i think this could be someone of middle of the match for him because they are at home. I think the bills defense will cause some problems for him. So i think really waddled devante. Parker and i'll and i'll throw gaskin in there as well. They're positive plays against the bills. And then the other side. Like i said josh allen and digs of course and then emmanuel sanders could be like a flex play or kobe's league but don't start any of the running backs from the bills because they just running game is just awful for them aright so now moving on to the next match-up you got the patriots at the jets and you know both offenses weren't very explosive in their respective games. But there were some things that you had to like about him. Zach wilson definitely showed some grit and toughness after being down early against the panthers and yeah they didn't come back but he did play well towards the end of the game. Corey davis i think could definitely emerge as a you know start every week at your flex spot or even now your wide receiver too. I think he's the number one weapon. It's clear he's a number one weapon on this team. So i think he's a positive play against the patriots because patriots still don't have gilmore so i definitely think that he can have a good game here and i think really outside of that. That's probably yeah. Nobody really impressed me on the ground. For the jets and zach wilson. I think this is going to be a tough match firm. Because it is a rookie quarterback going up against bill belichick then on the other side i say daming harris has a positive play really is going to be the main guy i think. Jj taylor did not play in this game. Stevenson fumbled which led to damian harris. Getting the ball back again and he fumbled in the game. But i think moving forward deeming house is going to be the lead running back. James white was still involved in the offense. You know in the tight ends. We're involved as well. I think. Johnny smith definitely could be a guy that you could start at your tight end spot. If you're desperate at that position nelson galore. He was targeted decent amount of this game in the game. Against the dolphins had a touchdown. I think he could also be affleck's play. I think he's obviously the number one wide receiver on the patriots mack jones. I think he is better. Going up against the jets. As opposed to zach wilson going up against the patriots so sorry jones could possibly be a guy that maybe you would wanna start if you're desperate if you're super desperate and it's week two. I don't know he's a guy you want to stream but yeah and then looking at the defenses you probably want to. I mean actually. I don't really know i mean. I don't think these this is going to be a close game. I think so if you wanna start either or when it comes to the jets defense or the patriots defense. I don't think you'd be making a ridiculously bad decision. I think the patriots are the more positive play as opposed to the jets. But that's just me so now. Let's move onto the final one o'clock game that we will talk about in this segment. Got the forty niners at the eagles. Eagles defense and the eagles in general played very. Well against the falcons even though yes it was against the falcons so i think that jalen hurts. Believe it or not. I think he could be a really good play this week against the forty niners because the forty niners do struggle against mobile. Qb's kyla marie and russell wilson they play against both those guys in their division and they do tend to struggle against them. So i'm gonna say jalen hurts has a good game here. I think the forty niners cover spread Just to throw that in there. But i think jalen hurts is a positive play and i think devante smith is positive. Play as well because now the forty niners down a man jason. Verita top corner tours. Acl out for the year. So i do think that the eagles are going to exploit that in this game. I think you could start. Dallas goddard think mile sanders would have a problem to Running the football on the ground Even though the andrea swift he had a good game. Jamal williams had a good game. But i don't know. I feel like the forty niners. They might be able to tidy things up in You know be able to stop the running game. In that regard you jalen hurts will be effective on the ground. So i think devante smith goddard and jalen hurts. I think they are positive. Plays against the niners. And then i think you probably you know you can start the niners defense if you know you have confidence in them. Eagles defence. i think. I'm still skeptical with them. And here we are weak one. We got a team that seems like they want to establish the run. They drafted a running back in the first round and now know the two of the lay so Um, pretty big deal. Yeah. I think losing star literally is a big deal right now, after you worked so hard to, you know, Think about what this defense can look like having him back after missing him last year, and we know that it did hurt. You know the run defense. I'll go back to what I said yesterday, though, I think you know, at least they have They have a reference point of how to play without him. You know, It's not like it's Oh my gosh, We lost a guy that's been with us for eight weeks. What do we do? They play a whole season without him last year, and they actually made some changes on the defensive line. Um, and he's not a guy that's going to eat up. You know, 65% of the snaps and week one, I would say, um, so you're going to have a rotation anyway? He wouldn't be out there all the time. Lots going to fall now, though, on Harrison Phillips, Justin Zimmer, Vernon Butler, not as much as Oliver. I mean, you know, because of his style is what I mean. But yeah, those guys now they're gonna have to step up a little bit. And yeah, the linebackers are as well but Who knows? I think the bills go into the season and as much as they really look forward to having star and he's important the way that they've constructed this roster, and we've talked about this before, guys, what's the defensive line? It's a good question, he He kind of showed up, I guess on the injury report when we don't know we don't get official injury reports in training camp. I mean, we do We have participation. Reports after practice is what we get from the team. But for preseason games we don't get official like injury designations. Um, he was not hurt after the Green Bay game, and he wasn't hurt from what I had seen in anything leading up to the time that he appeared on the injury report, his first Day of doing that, Um, was Wednesday limited with a foot injury. I was out there on Tuesday. And I mean, we only get to watch stretching an individual. Didn't seem like anything was going on. But certainly he could have been limited that day because they don't have to give it an injury designation. So I'm not sure guys. It's been limited three days in a row. He's questionable. Sounds to me like something happened during the week. Tuesday into Wednesday, maybe Wednesday. Um and you know now they're gonna have to possibly play without him here in week one. We don't know. And how big of a loss is he exactly like Mike and I talked about this in earlier in our show, and I think you like it. Certainly. He's someone who they sought out. They brought him here to replace John Brown. But they've got talent at that position. And he's not Steph digs right, like like digs to me as his own category. As far as the receivers go, the other guys, to some extent, I would consider, you know, somewhat interchangeable. And so I've got Gabriel Davis. I've got Isaiah McKenzie. I've I've got Jake Kumerow. Even if I need to get there, so they've got I think talented guys they can put on the field of Sanders isn't there, right? That's right. And I think this is receiving corps is deep, and we've been talking about it all off season long. I do question when I wonder where Isaiah Mackenzie's health is to play, not only in the punch and kick return game, but also as a receiver, right and he's coming back from that injury. He had a Red jersey on last week a little bit, not not this week. You know, And I know he's been a full participant in practice as well, Um, so that's that's great news, so they might be able to use them. But you wonder week one he's coming off the injury was the plan maybe to to limit him as far as getting receiver snaps. So then I do think Kumerow could play a bigger role here. To me. He's the guy that you might see on the field a little more often. In this situation now against the Pittsburgh Steelers. I do think Emmanuel Sanders would be, um, a bigger a bigger, more important player for them because of their pass rush, and he's more of an outlet guy. I think he's more of a safety valve for Josh Ellen. He's not a one for one replacement of John Brown. You know he is on paper, but John Brown is a speedster John Brown is Take the top off the defense. He runs a lot of mid range routes. Can Emmanuel Sanders do that, at times? Sure what Emanuel standards really is he's He's kind of like a second slot receiver. He's kind of like a tight end roll actually at wide receiver and I guess a really good pass rush. When you're looking for those outlet guys or Josh Allen has to move around and improvised. I think that's where his biggest asset is going to be, so that could be a big big loss for them..

And when you talk about impact or away, a guy can contribute when you look at the other free agents put Emmanuel Sanders aside for a second because he's been signed for a specific purpose. But Matt Brita and Jacob Hollister both kind of play at spots that are not priority spots as priority usage areas for the bills. This is not a running team, a And B. There's so many good receivers. It's hard to see tight ends getting enough targets, whether it's Jacob Hollister or Dawson Knox to really have an impact. So to me, where there's an opening to have an impact is certainly on the defensive line. And if the Bills can get out of Fl Bada Even what they got last year in Carolina, which is half a dozen sacks. That's a huge impact for this team. You tell me that someone not named Edmonds, Milano Klein. Addison Hughes has six acts this year. Then that guy is going to be a big deal for this Buffalo Bills team. Well, I'll say this. Um, I A lot of people know I've seen the interview I did with him after his first game as a pro. That guy passes the eye test. Just like a lot of the guys The Bills drafted this year and Greg Russo Spencer Brown, Uh, Tommy Doyle. This guy walked in the room and he is a pro athlete, and he looks the part. I think the bills and I'm not saying that this is like a cosmetic thing or but I think the bills look First and foremost for physical traits in their players, the players that they get to choose the free agents in the draft picks. They look for physical trace. Josh Allen, first and foremost. They look for physical traits, and then they go deeper and say Okay, is he a great team made a great guy as he motivated for the by the right things in his life. Does he want to be great jersey after the money and the fame? Because as soon as you get to the league and all that stuff if he gets it He shuts his engine off that kind of thing. They They look for physical traits and players. Then they look for the character and what makes the guy tick. And is he going to be a good teammate? Is he going to strive to be as good as he can possibly be is going to make guys around him better. FAA. Obata seems to fit all that stuff. The certainly passes the physical trade test, and I think that is as much as anything. The philosophy that we're seeing played out in the Sean McDermott team here in the fourth year. We're there now. They're getting to a place where they can They can pick some guys they want to play. People are kind of Like, Yeah, I'm looking forward Lay, I'd like kind of like to play in Buffalo. Let's go glass half full what did you see this weekend that had you excited and brimming with optimism where do we start so much Scott the forty niners because I always leave things are more impressive when prior to the game it's not supposed to look that way so we a significant professional money come in on Carolina so it makes the win even more impressive to me personally because I just feel like they exceeded expectation and I managed and I think we both did here right to avoid this game now we dead value is certainly on Carolina like numbers wise right when you look at the number got six six and a half earlier in the week like Mason Rudolph was catching that same number in his first start ever on the road so value is I get it but I think we talked Thursday which is like a horrific matchup right Carolina doesn't have left tackle Bosa continues to like full-blown just eat out there I think he's got the highest pressure rate he's on pace to set the highest pressure rate for any rookie in NFL history right now kyle kind of talked about this the one above it average pass defense he played he struggled against earlier in the season which was Jacksonville the forty niners would obviously be even tougher than that he was the most inaccurate quarterback in terms of completion percentage expectation of sixteen percent below expectations the worst so far this week and we saw that at there wasn't very good can't stop the run we talked about that Cohen Short once he went out for the season and there was a big check mark there offensively from what I'm what I'm seeing from the forty niners is is Kyle Shanahan is just ahead of his time with what he's doing even though it's very basic right it's I think he's in this concerts jokingly kind of the real inventor of the exotic smashmouth right the ball is just like spread around there's all these interchangeable parts wide receivers are getting handoffs but like at its core it's very simple offense and I think the scary part here todd is like you look or seven and no right now in the NFC but they're without their left tackle there without the right tackle there without their versatile full-back call us check and I think I could wrong about this and it's probably not worth the money was paid but I feel like Jimmy G. has another gear that we haven't seen yet either which makes this forty-nine seem really scary well and I think some of that's got to be by design if you're Kyle Shanahan why reveal all your cards when you don't have to right now and then there's no doubt that Jimmy G. High profile passing attack is somewhere there I imagine as they can can you to build chemistry with Emmanuel Sanders able to get into the end zone and his forty niners debut it makes his team even scarier and I know pain we don't talk a lot about futures here because guys don't have access turn prices and you Never WanNa do hyperbole but right now when you look at the NFC or the forty niners the team to beat the more complete package outside of experience levels than the New Orleans saints tough to you obviously love with the saints are doing especially defensively that front seven has really taken another step I do feel like whoever gets home field advantage because the saints home field advantage so massive you'd give the you'd leaned that way with ever team had home field advantage certainly the games get a little bit tougher here in the next few weeks off for the forty niners so we'll see what they're made of but man ah X. still kind of leaned saints especially if they were the team that got home field advantage going to be interesting NFC playoff picture definitely a number of teams on their best day more than capable of putting up crooked numbers and more importantly getting stops on the defensive side but aside from the forty niners pain or are there any other teams and our individual performances that really stood out to you Daniel Jones right if you're a giants fan you have to pretty encouraged in whether you could've met seventeen or six I mean that's it's kind of a relevant at this point you know and I liked I saw accuracy wise again delivered a completion percentage five and a half percent greater than expectations four touchdowns no picks and I think that that last part there with the no picks is really impressive when you look at how aggressive he was six most aggressive quarterback in week eight so far obviously two games tonight but of all the quarterbacks that have played so far six most aggressive and the other thing is when you look at how he's doing it right now in general young quarterback he's been pressured a shit ton right forty six percent of its drawbacks pressured on the season most in the NFL among qualifying quarterbacks and he's this young young he hasn't flinched yet so I I really like I think you have to be happy for your giants fan of what the future could be with Daniel Jones so fantastic
