Here, little by little, they're all starting to open up, but at the moment we stood the two right lanes closed on eastbound highway four just as you approach a railroad avenue. This was a crash of almost about three hours ago, unfortunately someone died. The three left lanes are open so traffic starting to move by slightly better. You're still going to be backed up by a Concord right around willow pass road ads, you're going to see the brake lights. You still may want to consider taking a Leland road as an alternate for that matter, even willow pass road through the bay point area and into Pittsburgh. But again, no estimate of time when the other lanes will open, just expect the lays if you are traveling in that direction. If you live in San Francisco, very heavy traffic on one O one northbound from right around Caesar Chavez to the lower deck of the bay bridge, once you actually on the bridge, it looks like it's a very smooth ride into the east space, beginning of the east bays have some brake Tapping in both directions of interstate 80 between Berkeley and emeryville after you get past that in either direction between pal street and I say university avenue it's looking really good and speaking of looking really good traffic is starting to move much better on the Richmond San Rafael bridge that's eastbound 5 80 looks like everything has been picked up as far as caltran work. Yeah, we've got one brewing in Oakland in the maze 8 80 northbound on the connector to 80 east bound accident here blocking multiple lanes. You are going to be slow through that connector ramp and into the emeryville area, but then once you do get east of Powell, it will start to pick up. So do be advised. There are some slowdowns in the area. 80 westbound also slowing from Golden Gate fields all the way into the maze, and then the upper deck of the bay bridge is sluggish into San Francisco, out of San Francisco, one O one northbound slow and stretches from two 80 up to 80, but the lower deck of the bay bridge is wide over over to the east bay side. North bay checking in pretty decent right now, nothing much going on that is going to slow you down in daily city. We do see that two 80 northbound right before highway one earlier accident that was initially reported on the southbound side is causing a bit of a slowing. So we had lanes blocked there and now you're backed up beyond westboro so do expect some minor delays and in the Santa Cruz mountains we've been watching a slowdown 17 southbound from about idle wild toward summit road. "Are sold. First for traffic things are getting better in Berkeley, we check that now with Victor. It all leads are now open Holly on westbound interstate 80 just past Gilman street it was a crash block, you know, the two left lanes, the bad thing is you're backed up into the Richmond area on 80 westbound Carlson boulevard as you can see the brake lights, and it's also affecting the eastbound 5 80 before central avenue as you pass Gilman street. Now once you pass that it's smoother right through an emeryville and as you get into Oakland, right at the transition ramp to southbound 8 80 is still very solid red at the very end of the ramp it was an earlier raw. It looks like a CHP did stop a couple of cars that might have been also a crash one that was a foot pursuit as well. They're still blocking both lanes at the very end, but you could get by on the right hand shoulder, that's the reason why you're very sluggish there. Looks like a fire cruiser now on scene, so this is probably going to be a while before they can clear it out. Once you get past that, then it's a nice ride into downtown Oakland. If you want to avoid that, you can take eastbound 5 80 to 9 80 get around. 8 80 in the northbound direction in Oakland just have to high street. You are on and off the brakes to at least a Fifth Avenue exit after that, it's a smooth ride into downtown, and if you're leaving San Francisco speaking of downtown, on the lower deck of the bay bridge, you got very heavy traffic from one of one northbound just as you transition a eastbound 82 the lower deck. And we are gonna go to Berkeley this time around westbound, 80, right at ashby, there is a crash there that they're clearing out of lanes and apparently those vehicles hit the orange barrels off to the side that are filled with sand so there's a lot of sand stuck in those right lanes as well. They have the two right lanes blocked until further notice. Calling for Cal trans sweepers to get that out of the roadway as well, so that may take some time to clear we are tracking brake lights. It is busy. I am seeing some so speeds as you head westbound 80 into Berkeley over into emeryville. So if you are headed towards a bay bridge this morning, that may slow you down just a bit. Also, if you're headed towards the Richmond San Rafael bridge, first reports of a trouble spot here broken down vehicle stuck in lanes, not too far from the toll Plaza in that number two lane sets that number two lane from the left there. It's not too bad as far as delays go, but just a heads up as you head through there and also getting word of a new crash south to 80 near westboro. This is blocking the right lane and one vehicle involved may have spun out. Again, we're dealing with slick surfaces today, so be extra careful on the roadways due to that wet weather if you are headed out and about. Traffic and weather together on K CBS and Kim vestal has been covering part of our breaking news story this afternoon that is occurring in daily city involving a Sam trans bus and Kim, what can you tell us right now? Well, as you would imagine, a Friday afternoon in December, a sunshine outside the parking lot at ceremony center in front of target bustling with cars and shoppers and that's when earlier, over an hour ago, Sam transit public bus unexpectedly crashed into several vehicles and dozens of shopping carts was big red target shopping carts with flying every which way. So the area is now roped off several people have been transported to a hospital. We don't know exactly how many it hasn't been officially confirmed, but authorities are on the scene trying to piece together what happened. So avoid that's the south side parking lot there at target ceremony center. We've been tweeting updates a few videos as well. Check it out at kcbs a.m. FM traffic. I don't know if you can answer this. Does Sam trans bus service actually enter the parking lot at target on a regular basis? I do not know, but they may have, I know, shopping centers do have county buses come through to drop people off at bus stops, but I'm not particularly familiar with the setup at ceremony. So that's why we're really waiting to see where the authorities can tell us. They're trying to piece the situation together. They're not sure what happened. If the bus driver lost control or somebody crashed into him, there's just no way to know right now. And hopefully bob butler can get more information when he arrives. So avoid the area and traffic elsewhere, no other major drama in the Bay Area are afternoon commute Friday getaways. Just getting going and better on the east shore we had two crashes at emeryville, that's why both eastbound and westbound 80 pretty clogged up there on both sides of the shore. "Heavy traffic. We've got more information about this backup on northbound one O one, in fact, highway patrol has now issued a special traffic advisory. This one is not going to be quick to clear. It's a crash involving a big rig that's off the road northbound past Atherton avenue, so emergency crews do have the right lane blocked so they can somehow recover it. No estimated time for when they're going to reopen that lane. So expect a slow drive there northbound southbound skating by with no delay. Richmond, that's a heavy backup to along the east shore corridor eastbound 80 crawling out of emeryville because of a collision at central. They have cleared it out of the way, but traffic is just hobbling in the eastbound direction. And it may not recover because we've got more and more traffic hitting the road now for the afternoon commute. While that quickly do have better news, it crash on the connector from it was eastbound 24 to northbound 6 80 tied up traffic through Lafayette, all the lanes are open and recovering now, but definitely moving below the speed limit from just past aquilani south bay. Let's jump down to highway 87 with the Chilton auto body collision cam, all lanes are blocked by crash near the airport northbound to 87 after skyport. Well, yes and no, we do have a couple of accidents to let you know about. We'll start out first off in the Windsor area on south one O one just before arata lane. This is where we had a two car crash happened about 25 minutes ago or so. So one of those vehicles is often to the center divide, the others on its side, about ten feet or so off the right hand shoulder apparently some injuries are involved because they are asking for an ambulance to arrive, but good news is they've been able to get everybody out of the vehicles there. Right now though, traffic is pretty light, like you say, so we're really not seeing too much of a backup at the scene, where we are seeing a backup is in that emeryville area. This is a westbound 80 while we did have a backup there. They did have a high speed high speed pursuit that ended right there at Powell street at suspect vehicle crashed, CHP did have all lanes stopped and blocked while they were resting the suspect and clearing that crash looks like that's all over with right now because traffic is back up to the limit and looks smooth through that area. In San Jose, Matt bigler, CHP is investigating a shooting on the westbound bay bridge that snarled traffic into San Francisco for hours last night. A highway patrol says shots were fired on the upper deck of the bridge around ten 30 Friday night, the left lanes were blocked, heading into the city at the Harrison street exit, the lanes reopened early on Saturday morning, CHP did not confirm whether anyone was injured, just ahead on kcps. I'm Jim Taylor. Another longtime neighborhood eating establishment prepares to shut its doors. You're gonna miss it. I'm gonna miss it. Okay, we just told you about an incident on the bay bridge last night that kept CHP busy. There's one going on right now just off the bridge on the eastern side that's diverting traffic. Here's Shane Guinness. Yes, right now, unfortunately, once you're getting off the lower deck of the bay bridge, everybody's being diverted off over to 5 80 east bound police activity for well over an hour now, not allowing anybody to go to the emeryville area on 80 eastbound. So at this moment, if you're getting off the lower deck of the bay bridge, you're going to be diverted off over to 5 80 eastbound. Now, if you are still trying to make your way into the Berkeley area, you just take 5 80 eastbound to highway 24, and then you can go ahead and get off at Martin Luther King, what junior way, and that'll go ahead and help you get back into your destination if you're trying to make your way through the east shore area on emeryville, Berkeley, or over into Albany, heading into the Richmond area. Also taking a look at the other traffic right now. If you are in the Richmond area, make your way on the upper deck of the Richmond center fell bridge heading over towards the north bay not seeing any issues everything's looking really clear. And same thing with crossing over out of San Francisco over on the Golden Gate Bridge, not seeing any problems. Well, we still have to head back to that Peninsula. Northbound one O one before the candlestick park exit crews are on the scene and working to clear what an earlier two car crash happened about 50 minutes or so ago. It's off onto that right hand shoulder. There were injuries involved in an ambulance is already come and gone. One of those cars is about 30 feet or so off the road and apparently they might need to cut some trees in order to get that car out. So you will see activity there, but the good news is, right now, we're not seeing any problem as far as traffic getting by, whatsoever. Also, in San Francisco or actually on the Peninsula as well, southbound two 80 just after crystal springs road apparently we have a deer down, it's over to the right hand shoulder trying to get it out of that right hand lane CHP is there. If you are making your way to the lower deck of the bay bridge, well, no problems to report everything looks good and traffic is smooth, all the way over to that Oakland emeryville area on interstate 80 eastbound. Not only is it not clear, Brad and patty, we have a second crash now. So a pair of problems, both sides of the lower east shore freeway, so let's update the first one that happened just over ten minutes ago. This one is blocking the left lane and the right lane eastbound 80 at Gilman getting calls about that one. So eastbound jammed up in two seconds flat. Now we've got a second crash. This is westbound in emeryville and it's just before palest street. So I'm watching traffic with the Chilton out of body collision cam really slowed down for your ride there. The rest of your ride along interstate 80, though, as you continue, eastbound in a Richmond and beyond, still moving very well, light conditions, no problems on the carquinez bridge and the ride on 80 between Vallejo and the Vacaville is just fine. We don't have any slowing there at all. I'm looking at 6 82 out of benicia. Into Fairfield, once you get off the benicia bridge at a lightly traveled in that direction. While the creek interchange, though, still jammed up because we have a big rig that landed in a ditch northbound 6 80, approaching north main so the right lane is blocked in that direction. It doesn't take two thirds. No, no to undo it later. I'm saying so if if the 14th Amendment well I mean, they explained it quick site. I don't mean to some kind of sending. If you convict him by a two thirds vote in the Senate, then the next step would be extra toe exercise. The 14th amendments Article three, which only takes a 50% of the House and Senate. To ban him from holding future public office. Ah, future Senate or House could undo that. But it would take a two thirds vote to undo what 14th amendment allowed them. That said. That still doesn't keep him from exercising some political control. He could still run a state officer. He could start his own media empire. Um All I'm saying is is that we need to move forward to be inclusive to bring in the people that he let out. He pushed out. People of color women, LGBTQ, whatever all Americans, and if we're going to prosecute this guy, we have to do it within the confines of the law, Not because we're pissed. Not because he's a horrible person. We do it because he broke the law. It's not against the law to be a pos or ah, just a nasty person. We need to prosecute him without prejudice and to put him away because that's what you get when you break the law, not because we hate him. Does that make sense? Of course, it makes sense. However you you're You're skipping over us. What he would prejudice broke the law. Which prejudice he broke the law. It doesn't matter. That doesn't matter. I mean, it doesn't matter. Matters matters to us. I get it taken vote. Go ahead. Shit. He broke the law. We know that Okay. We don't know that he has not. That's your That's your opinion. We have to prove it in a courtroom.
