Lee Zeldin: 'I Feel Very Good About Our Chances in November'

"How's it looking out there for governor of New York It's looking really good I am tired of watching Republicans on their heels and losing in places like Georgia I feel like 2022 presents an opportunity to see Democrats on their heels and losing in places like New York and one party rule in Albany self described socialists with outsized power here a lot of AOC's friends now elected into the state legislature and we have a really good opportunity to as long as we lean into it work hard take nothing for granted I feel very good about our chances in November Now how about the Republican primary How's that going So Tuesday June 28th it's coming up in 12 days The Republican Party primary There was a new independent poll that just came out It was in the hill a couple of local outlets picked 11 based out of New York City and Emerson college So they just came out with a poll a couple of days back They had us with an almost 20 point lead in the Republican primary It's a four way primary and we're working hard I'm all over the state all day every day And then we're getting a great response We just have to make sure that everybody shows up I mean every single Republican who is out there listening if you're in New York if you're somewhere else and you know Republicans who live in New York it's a weird week here because it's the week after school that's out It's the weak before July 4th And people aren't really used to voting in June primaries anyway So what we don't want is for that person who's a supporter who might even have one of our signs on their front yard to be 1000% supportive of our effort but let this election go by and not even realize there was a primary on the 28th

Washington Examiner: Suburban America Abandoning Biden for Trump

"We read in here in the Washington examiner and a blow to his political base, suburban America is abandoning Joe Biden after giving him his 2020 victory over then president Donald Trump writes the Washington examiner in new polling, Emerson college found Trump leaves Biden by a huge 47 to 38% tally among suburban voters. The shift is notable and worrisome for Democrats and Biden's reelection campaign. After the 2020 election, the liberal brookings institution declared the suburbs won it for Biden. Yeah, sure they did. And predicted they'd become the party's backbone. Well, that isn't working out for him so much. Right now, the Emerson college poll shows Trump leading Biden by a huge 47 to 38% margin.

"There's incredible news about my friend and colleague. Larry elder out of california. I wanna share that with you. He is leading the field of candidates. Running to remove governor gavin newsom from office by way of a recall election scheduled to take place. September the fourteenth. There's a new poll released the other day. The inside california politics and emerson college poll shows that california voters fair favor larry by ten points. I mean it's not even close closed. You look at poll. He's got a commanding lead. He's got he's he's sixteen percent. The second place finisher is former san diego mayor kevin falkiner and 2018 gubernatorial candidate. John cox they both only have six percent sixteen percent for larry. He's ten points ahead of anybody else. Reality tv star caitlyn. Jenner came in a distant third with four percent tied with assemblyman. Kevin kiley now. There's a huge percentage of undecided voters. And that's where. I get kind of excited because if larry jumps out of the gate in the lead like this guess there there are people who still don't know much about him. I mean he's very well known in california but as he can get his message out. Wow maybe maybe. Larry elder's the next governor of the state of california.

You're part of the problem Video. If you can't unplug a charger, you can't have Children because they will have to grow up in a world that has melted. Cassie David writes that she eventually grew to understand her mother's mission. She calls her hero and tries to follow her example. David may have grown up privileged, but she wasn't indulged when she went through a horrible break up with Saturday Night Live comedian Pete Davidson. She was in console able, her parents used both warmth and tough love to help her through it. Turns out, Larry David hates self pity. If you're in your bed crying, it's he just comes in. He's just like, Oh, disgusting. The self pity like, Stop feeling sorry for yourself. I do think that's really important and it is kind of gross to feel sorry for yourself. Some of Kathy's work is deep beyond her years. Marty Cooke was one of Cassie David's writing professors at Emerson College. She says it was exciting to read her new collection of essays. I found it just to be rich and powerful and honest and raw and funny and sad. All at once. True to form, David is plenty anxious about what people will think of her new book. Putting All of Her insecurities out there, she says, is scary. You feel kind of like You know you ran outside naked with a kick me sign on your face. No. 1 may have asked Cassie David to share that bruising vulnerability, But she's hoping it's something a lot of people.

"On Russian prostitutes. That's not that's not that's not the breaking news. I'll tell you what the breaking news is, and it involves Nevada actually. Breaking news just came in. A federal judge just dismissed the Trump campaign lawsuit over Nevada Mail in voting. This mail in voting Bill Trump campaign had filed this lawsuit at Assembly bill for which state lawmakers passed during a recent special session. Under the spill, all active voters in the state would receive a mail in ballot for an election if there's a state of emergency, regardless of whether they request one The president's campaign suit as I mentioned, arguing that the measure could disproportionately affect GOP voters by confusing them and creating an incentive to stay away from the polls. But again, this is this is big news. This federal judge has shot it down. So we kind of figured this was going to happen least I did. I knew there was no merit to it. It was just a matter of time before a judge said no gone to it, Brian Well, according to a federal judge, he completely 100% disagrees with you, and he's a man of the law. And what he what his opinion. Says goes upside we had 223,000 ballots that were sent to the wrong address for the primaries in Nevada. Well, it was supposed to fix that in $200. No, I no wonder balances that 100,000 balancing 220,000 ballots. 220 that attraction 223,000 ballots. Brian does that hurt? You know what? That is a question. You have any idea what that is? That's literally 6%. Of the entire state of Nevada. Roughly Brian So let me ask your of the okay. I'm asking you a question. Now, how is that going to get fixed in five months or four months, and I ask you a question with a before Every single registered voter. Okay, automatically gets a ballot. I was to their homes. I was gonna ask you a question. My opinion doesn't matter. Your opinion doesn't matter. All that matters. Is this federal judge. That I would imagine, probably has. The governor's tried to steal the election. But if I could, if I could just finish all that matters is a federal judge that dismissed this lawsuit. There's no proof that it can hurt Republicans any more than it could hurt Democrats. Let me be very clear on that. That was the basis of the lawsuit that it was going to hurt Republicans no evidence to back that up. Actually, it is. There is some evidence here really that it's gonna hurt Republicans, not Democrats. Really, Yes, loved here that have the multiple serve. Multiple polls have shown that Biden voters prefer to vote by mail and Trump. What polls were showing them what and Trump voters prefer to vote in person. And what and what polls show that Emerson College is one Emerson College shows that I would love to get more information. I'll get morals, but so yeah. If that's the case, then Yes, it definitely hurts the way last night. Shocking, party healthy Democratic blast I checked on. Maybe I'm wrong on this. But last I checked Donald Trump supporters that want a vote for Donald Trump. Last I checked, they can still vote in person. But anyway, here's what matters, folks and make no mistake about it. Beyond all the rhetoric, this is all That matters, which is a federal judge agreed that this lawsuit had zero merit, and it's not even gonna be in the court system. Okay, So that's it. End of story. That's all that matters. We can talk about stats and pulls all we want to, But the lawsuit you blatantly lied to our audience and said that is that there is no evidence I just thought, Well, there is some evidence, and then you tried to discredit my evidence. Well, yeah, and I gave you a pretty showed me a pole. I give you one point There's multiple other pools like Well, let me let me just say so. Don't lie to me first. I never lie to our audience. You're being an idiot, and I will call you an idiot. Now on there is yes. You're being a little I'm not. You just said that there is no good. And I say there is evidence you're saying I'm lying to the audio in your letters are more like a goat by mail than trump for wasting your time. Every single Nevada resident they want to. They can request that absentee ballot They don't have to get. You don't have to have a ballot sent till their homes after what happened at the prime, Okay, so thank jumping. 3000 bounce were sent the wrong address in several person of all. First of all sons of people received four. More balanced because he'd like to live there. Let me do something. Okay, So let me be very clear. First of all, and then we're gonna move on, though, So I don't want that as well. Okay, well, I don't want to hear it. I just don't like to bring it up. Okay? Uh, this is breaking news. That's kind of what? We don't do it right? And OK, span, and I'm trying to get a word in edgewise. You are off the rails. Could we please? Okay, First of all, pole is not evidence. That's number one. Number two and this is very, very important. We are in a global pandemic. There are people that do not want to leave their homes. This is end of story. There is a federal judge that dismissed it. And I would like to move on now. And I want to talk a little bit about Donald Trump's crazy weekend blazing, gentlemen. Oh, yeah. That's right. Donald Trump had sort of what you would call I like the music Circus a circus.

Marketing Tips for Voice

"Voice is always something people talk about and struggle with yes. What is your perspective on this? How do you do it? Yeah so I guess I'll back up and say I come from a marketing background. And that's what I studied at Emerson College which is also in the voice scene which is very exciting to me here presenting and I worked at my first job was actually at Disney channel in marketing. And so that was my first foray into the field of entertainment and really learning how to market to a specific audience. So I spent I was actually at Disney for five years between Disney channel on. Espn and really getting that. Like well rounded experience their portfolios obviously massive and their marketing is like no other obviously globally so about five years ago I shifted into a creative development for social platforms and working with brands and influencers creators on social media that have huge followings and kind of driving those experiences across platforms and putting brands friend center of like the conversation on social as we know today like the tick tock most recently or I just saw pinterest or snapchat and there's all these like all these different platforms that people are creating content on reach mass audiences. And that's the area that I'm really interested in his putting brands into that conversation strategically and making it Finding emotional connections with audiences that resonate So that's where I say. They're excited yes. I think there's such a huge opportunity as I'm sure a lot of people do here To put more of course I party skills and the platforms. That voice assistance are on in front of these audiences but also third party skills obviously So yeah I'm super interested to learn more in here. Everyone here talking about it and and find the way in for people to discover more skills through cross platform strong. Yeah and so. Can you give us some either some tips or things that you've done personally or with companies and how you've been able to kind of market some new voice skills or flash briefings within social? Yeah absolutely so. I think first and foremost and I've heard a lot of people talking about this. Like being user myself of different voice platforms so essential because also prize myself. Sometimes and I'm like well like I didn't even have to think twice about like lifting my risk and asking Siri for like remind me to Xyz. So I do have. I have the echo show five on my desk. And that's kind of my go-to throughout the day For more so than like a Google search would be now so that's been really interesting just from like a consumer standpoint myself and I think is such a big part of like the creative development processes looking at your own habits and what market you fit into So that's been super interesting But back to your point in regards to content development on social media if I'm working with a brand or a client or a crater for that matter it's it's looking really deeply at their analytics and what drives the most engagement. Whether it's you know the most used they've got in or the most comments that a post received and what really resonated with their audience and diving into that niche an understanding the science behind why that resonated with people and then how to recreate that with other formats or other platforms to either reach the audience or expanded even further. Yeah that makes a lot of sense I think yeah looking at the data where people at what are they doing? How do you adjust that you were talking earlier about kind of creating emotional connections which? I am very much a fan of as well. How do you think somebody should do that? When it comes to creating a voicemail. That's a great question so and I guess it makes sense that my career started at Disney because speaking of emotional connections I grew up going to visit my family in Florida and going to Disneyworld families. So it's funny that I ended up working there That was like my lifelong dream so coming from that experience. I think it's getting to the root of what Your brand or your message really is and knowing not inside and out and then why that will attract consumers and connect them to your brand or message So I guess I could talk about Chop Chop which is the scale idea which is adorable. So yes you made. A skill called Chop Chop. Tell us about first off why you started it and kind go through and how it pertains to what you're talking about now. Yeah so this was back in early. Two thousand eighteen and Amazon did the life hacks challenge so that's initially how I caught wind of Even developing on this platform so I did have a Developer PARTNER THAT WE TEAMED UP. Shout out to John G so there's so many pieces that go into thinking about how to create a skill and developing it so for this life tack challenge. It's it's almost a little bit easier when you're put into a box to think outside of it. I know that's like cliche sort of like direction. A little bit of direction this not that go so when it came to life hacks you know being in the kitchen you your hands are messy when you're cooking you don't necessarily want to be having your ipad or your device or computer for that matter over the sink and I found myself in that position so many and obviously youtube is a huge resource for looking up. Like how do? I chop onion to get this exact dice that my recipe calls for or whatever it might be. So we've really said okay. The multi modal device the echo spot at the time was what we were working with the kitchen and we said it would be great if we could just say like. How do I chop up onions? Or what's the proper way to kind of mango or with these things that when your hands are messy? It's like you just want that information real quick so we We produce this scale chop chop. Did you cut up different fruits and veggies and the really exciting part was doing the visual element because both of us come from a content production background so we made in the dining room literally. We set up a production a small production studio and produced like over seventy five video. And I'm actually chopping the fruits and veggies like between the two of us. We really made every piece of this skill so we were fortunate to have the wide range of skill sets needed to cover the ground but it was over one hundred fifty hours of work that went into this so a lot of hard work and love into it but were super happy with the product. I still love talking about it. Obviously and I encourage people to use it at home and when they're cooking in the

"One week from tonight we will be analyzing the Iowa caucuses and you must know not only a small majority of Bernie Sanders voters say they will definitely support the eventual democratic nominee for president in two thousand twenty if Bernie Sanders is not the nominee here that they're gonna send out the national Emerson College poll of one thousand one hundred twenty eight registered voters between January twenty first and January twenty third found that fifty three percent Sanderson porters said yes when asked if they would support the democratic presidential nominee even if it is not their candidate another thirty one percent of Sanders supporters I said it depends on who the nominee is and sixteen percent said flat out no they won't I want to ask you what do you think about that and I wanna know what you think about the situation now in Iowa is a caucus is not a primary and you understand before latest polls out of Iowa show a complete deadlock with warm who just received the endorsement of major newspaper there and the mayor Pete and Bernie Sanders and Joe Biden in a virtual deadlock so what do you think when you hear in a poll that's only fifty three percent of Bernie Sanders voters will definitely support the democratic nominee for president if he doesn't win domination you realize if the burning Bernie Sanders voters stay home it's over for the Democrats they can't

"For more than fifteen years Boston area filmmaker mark fields has been on a quest to capture and share the story the banjo he's assembled more than three hundred hours of original video and piles of research that's the fuel for his new banjo museum you don't need to leave the couch to visit as Andrea que of member station W. B. O. R. reports mark fields production team as wiring up collector Jim Bowman and his rare eighteen fifty eight Fangio testing one two three four Warren Bowman's artifact field home just outside Boston it's a place that I came to when I first started this project and realize how much there is about the banjo which people don't know about in which people should know about that's it feels he says Bowman's trove of two hundred plus instruments and Gander related stuff is a portal into America's social history and Bowman is happy to share it with a lot more people the whole fuddy Duddy and being electronically challenged all my information is on three by five cards in the collection and yet he can bring that to the digital age for wrong so what was what I'm gonna play a tune called Vance's song which was written about double Vance who lose you'll recall a legend of West Virginia okay we're gonna back in his office in nearby Emerson College fields leads the tour and his digital museum in the making called the banjo project it includes interactive timelines archival footage of famous players and dynamic displays of the instruments themselves field zooms in on one photographed in three hundred and sixty degrees you can look at the detail all the way down to the grain of the wood the brackets the hardware then with the click of his mouse fields does what would be alarm tripping in most museums he flips the banjo over so we can see the maker signature on its back the banjo project traces the instrument's history from its African origins to the present day do interviews with historians makers and such contemporary performers as Rhiannon Giddens cofounder of the Carolina chocolate drops there's so much history in this music yeah is not the good stuff and then some of them had stuff is the banjos rolling the minstrel era from the mid eighteen hundreds through the early twentieth century all right let's face it the whole American entertainment industry was founded on the minstrel show for better or for worse that's a good starting place for understanding a lot of things that happened since then field says white minstrel entertainers coopted the banjo donned blackface and created caricatures of slaves and their music that entered for decades on the site no musicologists Gregory Adams elaborates you can't talk about the history of the band if you can't talk about racism slavery misogyny appropriation exploitation all of the things that run counter to what we love about the danger but the instrument was also with tool for liberation as scholar rex Ellis of the national museum of African American history and culture points out in the banjo project he reflects on the life of Gus cannon who was born on a Mississippi plantation and went on to write a song in the nineteen twenties that would become a pop hit nearly half a century later so when the band show not only becomes something that he can express himself with it also becomes something and the dancer was also a ticket to a more independent life for child performer Lotta Crabtree says the banjo projects mark fields she was known for never having married wearing trousers on stage smoking cigarettes and playing the banjo and she became a nineteenth century superstar much to the surprise of project manager Sean Clark he's been working with fields for more than a decade the first time I saw a woman who is playing the banjo the first I saw it black banjo player that was a challenge to the stereotypes that I have assisted with the instrument of course the banjo project include such bluegrass stars as role Scruggs and Ralph Stanley who mark

Childcare universal pre-k universal pre pre K. For every child in America. There is no such thing as an illegal. Human. Are you for or against third trimester? The question is about abortion and reproductive rights. And my answer to you is that should be a decision that the woman makes. All right. News roundup information overload hour here on the Sean Hannity show. Our Hannity watch on the twenty twenty extremists candidates continues as we vet these candidates. Unlike what the mainstream media will ever do. Now, you just heard from Cory Booker, Elizabeth Warren Kirsten gillibrand, and of course, Robert Francis. Beethoven bozo aerobic, and we have some polls out today, the first Emerson college Wisconsin poll of democratic primary voters Bernie Sanders leads by a comfortable margin. Thirty nine percent, followed by Joe Biden at twenty four Elizabeth Warren fourteen and let's see beta with twenty Kamala Harris at sixteen and it goes on for their what's interesting is you watched the positions that they're now. Taking almost all of these twenty twenty candidates have adopted the new. Green deal as part of their top agenda items. You know, you have a beta Rourke, they're answering the question, you know, about third term abortions. How this became a big issue? This year kind of came out of nowhere. But now, you have what ten states dealing with it and the federal government and Democrats in congress dealing with it. But when they started talking about abortion, even during the birthing process dilation has begun and the governor of Virginia saying, well, I will deliver the baby. And after that, we'll make sure the baby's comfortable. And then we'll let the mother decide whether or not the baby gets delivered die which is in fantasy side. But that is the radical new extreme Democratic Socialist Party. Now, what Warren is talking about is the other big issues that they're pushing no one's paying a lot of attention. They want to expand the supreme court. And the reason is is that they see that by the time, Donald Trump likely leaves office. In twenty twenty five they're not going to be happy at the new makeup of the court. So let's just add three liberals just change the whole system to get the electoral college system, which was designed specifically so big stage. Don't get the stomp all over little states because the smaller states, obviously have different needs than states, like New York and California. So that's been their big push have Warren bragging about this two percent tax. But she's gonna provide daycare for our kids. We're gonna provide think about this. Everything is free guaranteed. Job guaranteed. Leave medical leave sick leave whatever it happens to be guaranteed vacations guaranteed..

"The latest polling. Will you cooking? The chicken. Time Turkey for thanksgiving. Right. Totally forgot about relevant. Polls. Polls are really important. So this is an Emerson college poll that was released yesterday and seeing colleges in Boston. It's much a flaming lips. Well, okay. But it's still I'm just saying there had been near that college Spencer flaming leads. All right, whatever this poll. The poll shows that Biden would completely trout's Trump by ten points. Even though he's not officially in the race yet. And Elizabeth Warren Bernie Sanders also both ahead of Trump by two points, comma, Harris has a lead over Trump of four points. And she in addition to Biden, they're the only two that would beat him outside the margin of error. Like there's no question that they will beat him everybody else's within the margin of error. Pete Buddha judge booth. And Cory Booker each have three percent of the primary vote. So when we talk about just how that vote is split like if you're just looking at the Democrats, Biden Sanders are tied with twenty six percent. Harris has twelve percent over work has eleven percent. But he's he's like the only one that wouldn't be Donald Trump. Elizabeth Warren has eight percent and interesting Kirsten gillibrand has zero percent. Zero. Think about that. Because that means surprises. She such a young mother means Andrew Yang who we only learned about on Monday, exactly Julian Castro, Amy klobuchar, Tulsi, Gabbard club tears running for God. And John Hickenlooper. All have one percent together. They each have one percent. Current Agila brand has zero zero like a scant amount. Isn't it like point two percent? She comes in zero. She comes in two zero zero zero zero now when you throw Howard Schultz into that mix. Do we have any porn?.

"Twenty is competitive with President Trump in the general election, the first Emerson college Wisconsin poll shows Bernie Sanders, holding a strong lead with thirty nine percents of the vote in Wisconsin, followed by Joe Biden at twenty four percents in third place is Elizabeth Warren, and then it drops down into single digits. With beta Iraq running in fourth Sanders is destroying everybody in Wisconsin among eighteen to twenty nine year olds. Yeah. Sixty one percent of the vote. Bernie Sanders is seconds with people over sixty five is twenty six percents of the vote there if Biden decides against running then his vote is going to mostly go to Bernie Sanders. Anyway. How does he match up with President Trump Trump is tied with or trails behind every single one of his democratic rivals in general election matchups according to Emerson. He apparently gets destroyed by Elizabeth Warren fifty two to forty eight. He gets really just crushed by Biden fifty four to forty six. Against Bernie Sanders. He loses fifty two to forty eight Simmons with Warren. He is tied with Kamala Harris in Wisconsin. He is down to Iraq. By a couple of point basically, earnings said even with Iraq, and he's tied with any club, which are in this. Emerson polling right now. So the worst candidates for him are Biden, Warren and Sanders. Which bodes well for Bernie Sanders. Frankly, I've been saying all along that all the talk about beta and all the talk about Kamala Harris Bernie Sanders is top tier candidate. And he's got a solid base of support with radical fringe with that said Burr beta Iraq is showing himself to be more durable than originally thought. I think this calls for some beta music..

"Sixty five dollars. That's fine. I know you get the receipt and you're like. Yeah. Probably. I could rip me off easily because I don't know what anything cost. But Andrea what about if you ever get on prices, right? You're not going to do. Well. Oh, no. I wouldn't even make it through the screening. Some sort of distraction. What andrea? I'll tell you how to get home prices, right? Where the uniform, right? If you're in a uniform, they love a person in uniform, totally cast you for prices, right? Yeah. So where do you? Yeah. The love a person uniform until they meet the. Andrea thanks for the call. Yeah. The when you think about how the price is. Right. Got to be. It's like it's really is the it's America's favorite game show of all time, isn't it? Yes. You know, it's up there with you get jeopardy and you got wheel of fortune. But I feel like prices right is the the classic American game show, and it's really bizarre. It's like, which is more expensive rice aronie or the, you know, this Dinty Moore beef stew. It's such a crazy skill. Housewife type. Became America's favorite show. And it's a brilliant show. It's a way for them to advertise all these products. It's like the whole show one big commercial. It's true. You're sitting at home. Like, I don't know. Is it four dollars for cheerio? What I should I should apply for that. I really have my hand on the pulse of like what things cost just because I have to know. I'm to. Cheaper though because for for my whole adult life in my years that I mean, I haven't been in a store since I got married, but if. If I ever did shop when I was an adult male. It was in Bodega 's or keenly food. In Manhattan, or even when I lived in Boston. I would be buying on at the corner store Marlboro market when I was going to Emerson college. So there was always three times as much. So when I was asking the prices on the price is right. I would think.
