"Bonnie Monte Kelly dot May. She's the author Speaker Coach and founder of rebels for joy. Wrote a book. True to your core four I just got to ask them looking at your website here. Strengthen your mind. Fu What does that. What could that be on you? The one word. It's mind to a made up word but that we call it comes to mind my gosh like straighten your mind F.. You I'm going to have to find out about this one. Oh it's mind flu okay. Gotcha like all right all right okay. So that's pretty funny. Okay Okay so how do you go about helping people. Let's do us a favor. Walk us through kind of like You know we make the phone call or we send an email in and we want some. I'm coaching now. Do you only coach women or do you. Will you help coach into just curious. No I've just a lot of man. Yeah and and you've been doing this for years. There's and helped thousands of people to be more productive so this is a good thing phone rings you pick it up. I'm like I'm like Bonnie my name's Ellen Taylor. My wife asked me the meaning alive. Oh so what do you do for well. We usually ask. The biggest thing is to really connect the death to where your biggest limitations nations are right so when I was even asking about like looking in your your last ten years reflection her last year looking back in your life as a reflection is really asking yourself like where you held yourself back. Where have you limited yourself or? Where's the pain point? Though these are usually the breadcrumbs that are going to lead us to really discovering the route route or you know what we call the source of a lot of the cyclists out sabotage and it takes a little investigation. So we're going to ask a lot of good pointed questions Shen and helping to figure out. Okay like where you're hindered and why. What is the purpose at that service? And how does it show up. And and how is that continuing to play off. Where else have you seen that in your life? Is the pattern Saturday at a cycle. So we ask a tremendous amount of questions not so back to back where you feel overwhelmed like that. We ask a lot of questions to help really start to get a good pitcher. I need you to paint a picture. And then we start to recognize that. There's a lot of patterns as bread comes are always present and then we get right to the root like what the heart of it and in my book. True to your core actually talk about the ten common most common root causes for ourselves sabotage right. These are the deep seated programs that exist in our subconscious. Mind without even being aware of it. Some of the biggest. Is this the idea that you're not enough this idea that you're not capable that you're not smart enough that you're not worthy that you don't deserve and just to name a view and these really start to develop these mask that we wear right. So we overcompensate through our work or we start associating are worth if you know our net worth versus really who we are what brings us genuine joy distant from our south. I was is going to say because it's interesting. How we find our true value? Most of us have really never looked they look around their life and take inventory of the things they have. My kids actually have called me hoarder. They said Dad. You're a hoarder and I'm like why do you say that. Look at all the stuff you you have. You heard stuff dad and I have my kids. Are you know thirty years old. I believe me these are like adults and I'm like I mean they are adulthood. I mean the point is that I feel like Oh my God. You know. I've been doing this to myself for so long that I did for so many years when I went through a tough spell. I didn't have anything and so I started making sure that I had lots of things but things are not love and things are not joy they sometimes it can give you some joy but the point is that you know now when I see my grandchildren that gives me joy and I don't need all my things because I found my true joy is loving my family and having a greater understanding of life life itself but man. There's a part of our lives that we we just we hoard stuff to ourselves and we think that is success and it isn't well that's the the way society is built. Unfortunately you know we've got these very disillusioned version of this idea of success and we think it's the car in the house and the money and those things are great great and I mean I think everyone should have ambitious goals and I and I'm no different than that and at the end of the day though. Are we getting those things because we feel we need you to feel loved and approved of to feel that we're worthy or not or are we going after those things from space where it's balanced where we can put our. Are you know. Put up our hat to hang it on the hook when we come in the door to be fully present in this next and with our children our grandchildren our our family or spouses and allowing..

And I thought I was good. I didn't think there is any problem. So Katie had to use the bathroom. I'm lucky enough to have a bathroom. Where's this Jason to my office? And there's a closet in my bathroom. Oh boy. She opened the closet and finds three really good gifts that I had been storing there for her wrapped. Wow. And did she get like mom a mystery Hatchimal mum a rainbow something? LL? She I said we're going to have to find a way for you to earn these you you can have one today. So she opened up one. "But you know, I it was it was not like looked into bad light later because of all the things that happened. People were there for each other. Well, they don't they don't compare it so much to the original Woodstock they paired compared to the nineties woods compared. Well, they tried. They tried. Well. Well, yeah. With the one guy saying that they had that big festival Woodstock, and it's going to be a disaster. But it worked and even in the nineties man, it was all people there who are try to like help they would help each other should at least they had music. At least a he. Link one eighty two. You know in cognac. Can you wanna smell hill? At the White House. You will day. What should did the who knows? Finished a Hulu the Documenta even managed to make that cheese. Look worse. Thanks. They had a picture of it the net in in. And that's why I say looking at both of the man you kind of is one better than the other. I would say slightly maybe Netflix because. Again, leaves them. More open minded for you to make your own decisions about it. But one thing you can definitely walk away from and they do kind of reinforce what you walk away from it is that. First of all Billy McFarland is a sociopath who's who's on the brink of being a psychopath. I wanted this guy even knows what he's doing half the time when he finished his when Lamar mentioned earlier when he finished that a when he was indicted and out on bail. He was still scamming people man selling tickets to coach Ellen Taylor swift in the in the in the met gala for they use it a fake go-between. Yeah. And there was somebody said I did one simple phone call to find out that it cannot be done and people who own mailing. Lists would get in that. But also goes to say the power of Billy McFarland, man. And how far is just how far his reach can be had in your mind. He still has his girlfriend man girlfriends like a cult member from Russia. So he probably bought her here. She she just doesn't know he is. And was. Wasn't a Anastacia. You've got a lot of women are find eremenko. Yeah. She criminal. He got. I was like she's in a coat on us media diesel. Well, but that goes along with it because the documentary starts out with all with all of these testimonials from people who grew up with him and his mom and his teachers and he's a fine person. He's one of the most optimistic people. I know, and I'm sitting there even before I know any of this. I'm like Optima that don't mean shit on all these things you y'all got these testimonies. Yeah. I know you like him and makes you feel good. But as far as evidence goes him, not being a criminal that that is zero nothing. He's a criminal. The fact that this that's all you got to say about him that are tells me that he's guilty. Yeah. He's a positive person. Yeah. Positive you can take your fucking money exactly dad's a criminal, man. That's what you got from in really getting a well, balanced view of that is that. Yeah..

She just doesn't know he is and. Anastacio? You've got a lot of women fun. She criminal. He got her like she's in a office. Well, but that goes along with the duck Mary starts out with all with all these testimonials from people who grew up with him and his mom and his teachers and he's a fine person. He's one of the most optimistic people. I know, and I'm sitting there even before I know any of this. I'm like up to that don't mean shit, all these things you y'all got these testimonies. Yeah. I know you like him and makes you feel good. But as far as evidence goes him, not being a criminal that is zero nothing criminal effecting this. That's all you got to say about him that are tells me that he's guilty. Yeah. He's a positive person. Yeah. Positivity can take fucking money, exactly. Dad's a criminal, man. That's what you got from. And in really getting a well-balanced view of that is that you do walk away left because everybody was laughing at it, man. And everybody was having a having a good time. Look at the millennials would all the. All that. All that money out there disposable income out this suffering for change getting a hard lesson in life. You know, that's cool. And everything seeing that I was one of that was laughing. But watching both of these really brings home that there are a lot of people who suffered outside of these kids, man. And it's in. What was sort of a communist eras before? And we would take an leeann it is kind of a sad situation. And it really does make you mad. And what makes it even what makes me even angrier is people are still seeing and this is in. This one talking about being people being taken in by conman, they still under his power people this man, he is really lex Luther people saying it's not like. Yeah. Luck. Among get him outta here. He's a bad person. People you find this approach how many peoples come back and say, oh, but Billy we'll be back. I'm competent that he will have something else. Like, we won't get a part two of this. And And I mean. I mean, they will. Yeah. I should be continent. You know? Documentaries. Like, these that make you wanna give up on life and just become evil, man. Like, I just wanna start a cult after this. You know, some people that you got one. But it just makes you see all these growing drop by CDs. Televangelist I see these people like Billy McFarland just say to myself. There's a lot of stupid people out there to get rich off a. And is being harder and harder. Meet be a decent person. Fucking. Losing that fight? Oh, but yeah, people that's how I would watch these. And those are the reasons why I don't know if that makes sense to you. But I really do think carrying an anger over from the Netflix, Hulu and watching Billy just on the hot seat and everything else where people do get seriously jabbed and seeing. Yeah, you were fall to I think that that satisfy to see after that so to conclude I think that is worth watching both of them. You can't. Okay. I well, I agree with you as far as the the order in which to watch. It sounds like there's a lot of good stuff in the Netflix. I hadn't. So that's what he did finish. Yes. Why didn't finish? I watch all the Hulu one. And I what I felt watching it too. Hey, I didn't finish the the net flicks one. And I want a second sometime that has an effect, but I've found that the net flicks..

"And I think we'll talk about this in the second half of the show. I think pornography in nineteen forty four forty five. Forty six is so much different than pornography in nineteen seventy eight that. That it is much more of a big deal, and you couldn't just walk into a liquor store and look at the rack that's behind the cardboard divider kind of thing. So yes, I'll take one of those one of those one of those. So it's a big deal that this is what he's doing here. And so I love the Sima Joe Brody. The reason why I was talking about the chauffeur and the chauffeur's death being questionable. And all that is that when you watch the scene with Joe Brody, and especially if you read the Sima, Joe Brody Marla just keeps hammering at him and just keeps going at it. And every time he tries a new approach Brody changes his story, and he gives him a little bit more a little bit more a little bit more. And I think if he had had five more minutes with Brody than Brody would have admitted that he had killed Ellen Taylor. The chauffeur of the stern woods rather than where he leaves it. Because when he leaves it he gets. Up answers the door and get shot by Carol Lundgren. But you know, he was there like basically saying I left this guy black jacked in the hills. And then I walked away, and he was fine. When I left them make any sense whatsoever. So I think you know, one more round of questioning and he would have folded like a deck of cards. I'm amused by the Hammy -ness of how Joe Brody keeps evading Marlow stare every time Marlow was questioning him. He keeps it's not like he can't just like look at the floor as answering questions. No. He has a shit is higher body in one direction, and then the other and Bogart the actors just following his body throughout the whole interrogation scene. Cut a woods to up the intensity over his world that the physicality reflecting the evasiveness really does cut a witness. I was just looking at a review this film, which to go to different tangent from mostly crawl the did review this Monday for. Eighty five where though talking about coal, and who roll this film and crevices McColl is a Diner's Lookie female, but she hasn't learned to act yet. Critics hated book hall, and the thing is to the held hoax hated Boga because he said he was the most selective a wooded with end. He was married to insult moon. So the in spite of that film done, but there really was minimal most of the I never would have thought that I think it was Andrew Sarah somebody like that who quoted that. I mean, I believe it. But I never would have thought that just because he gives such a fine performance in this film is so well-directed that usually that kind of tension ends up coming through somehow. But I mean, or I'm used to very public fights of the last I don't know thirty years where you hear about the stuff going on. Maybe they actually managed to keep a little bit. More quiet. Keep it on the DL. Or the q t as were this is a quite essential Howard hawks lick to Howard hawks loves dialogue. He loves strong characters playing off each other it gets lumped in to the whole film to our thing. But a lot of the film takes place in light there, very fief scenes that are actually at nights or it's an evening time doors and like right locations like a nightclub and casino and stuff like that. And I that's the one thing. I also kind of struck me watching this recently for the for the podcast was well, this is a very bright. You're yet compare it especially versus murder my sweet where I mean, the the first five minutes of murder, my sweet as a study in war. And then you watch this near just like an early seeing those deep shadows..

"Oh, and I recorded a little bit of it. Nobody's ever gonna hear it. I'll come on Kerry. I need to hear it. It's the worst thing that ever happened in life. Screaming it, and it was horrible. It was horrible. Now, who you know, I'm a musician. I agree. I've got a certain musical genius. Wouldn't they never said? Oh, you totally thinking, and and in college we would do when we would do this big production was in the choir that, I would go and get an abandoned and play the French horn up at the saxophone. I I'm I'm a pretty good news. I'm okay. But for some reason after doing all these years of talk, I guess, that's the reason. I don't have much of a falsetto anymore. I used to with a deep voice of deep. Speaking was ever can sing low. But then I could also I could really scream the stuff. I just don't have it anymore. It's so bad. Myself if the at least very rude, this is why can't help it gets fixed? I'm hot. And I'm mad. I'm gonna get a hold of engineers give a little give a little bit of a of a payoffs if they could take drag their feet on your condition, but I usually listen was high stuff now if it's funny, and I'm trying to sing it. And it sounds like crap. I'll still play it. I don't care if people make fun of me. That's fine. It's all part of let's do it for the for the listeners with this was just so bad. I could not bring myself to play. I wish I wish you would a let us be the judge. I'm look I'm actually looking and and it's not even on my only more it has been deleted file and the trash can has been emptied. Let me make sure we make sure that hold on. Let me make sure double checking in the trout come on. Oh, yeah. Trash can. By emptying the trash. No, I'm not going to be forty five. I'm not gonna do that song not sustain alive. Just can't do it. Okay. Entertaining. It's stupid. If it were entertaining like I did refugee. Yeah. If it's funny. I'll still play it. This wasn't funny. This was actually people would have actually felt bad for me too. Don't bad pags. A does not have it anymore. He's done so Nikki Haley on the way out leaving at the end of the year. She's not going to run for president in twenty twenty. I didn't think she was going to carry polo Sam they didn't think she was going to for some reason the far left fake fake news media thought that was the appropriate question. Why are you leaving to run against him? And the answer courses. No, that's actually stupid. And we don't know what the next step is for her. Guy John called from Michigan. He's he thinks that he saw Condoleeza Rice go to the White House or something. Maybe she's going to be the person who knows whoever it is will be somebody that will make sense in my opinion because this president if nothing else has appointed some really top notch people except for I'm going to say except for I'm Rosa now. Yeah. That probably was a grave mistake. I was gonna say I heard one report that it could be Yvonne Trump, and but he said this afternoon. No, she wouldn't make a great ambassador and do an incredible job. But then you don't have to your anybody. Call out the nepotism, so. Well, solid. She's not working with them. Now. Why why would that be any worse than either way? I think she's been a great Representative. I don't care if you hate Trump. You have to admit that Trump has done a great job everywhere. She goes, I mean, she brings a very positive message of the United States of America every seriously. I don't know. I I don't know who it should be. But but I want to circle back to to battle because he is saying he's not interested in the endorsement of former President Obama now I hope in the next debate. And is this the one in San Antonio, I believe so. Yes. I by the way, do the moderator is going to be. I'm not gonna say it. But I just I know is it going to be you. Well, let me ask you something. You think you think Robert Francis would ever allow me to be the moderator? And no new it won't better question. More Robert Francis. Wouldn't you be kind of scared if I was scared? Yeah. So it's not going to be. But I wonder and I hope the moderator asked this question. Did you ask former President Obama to not endorse you or did you not get the endorsement, and then you said you're not interested in afterwards. I think that's important question. I think that's important. I don't think he's gonna win either way. But who is he winning over by shunning, the top dog in the democrat party without a doubt Obama's still the top guy, the democrat party, Hillary Clinton that she is she's not he is so rejecting that just shows me really bad judgment as well. Not that I think it would have helped him win. But I think it certainly. It just does not make him the star of the party that people like Ellen. What want us to think that he is an Ed to that? I guess Ellen Taylor swift had this great back and forth on Twitter now about how right? She was to back the democrat in Tennessee, and Marsha Blackburn is no good or something. I don't know that I've ever seen to people who are more devoid of intelligence and knowledge on actual policy than these two. It's like they don't know why she voted against this violence against women act. I don't I'm not sure I understand. Why don't you have a brain just go and read why rejected the left put a bunch of garbage in there that had nothing to do with women nor violence against women who was about trans this and and gay that and it was stuff. It was special special interest garbage that had no place in the violence against women act. And by the way, it's still exists. There was this lion. As rumor that Trump's somehow ended it on September thirtieth. He didn't it in fact has been extended to December. And it's action that congress has to take the president has nothing to do with it. So there's a lot of confusion a lot of confusion on the left right now. And I gotta be honest with you. I think it's pretty okay, I'm okay with being confusion on the political left. You just they treated cavenaugh you seeing that this guy who's like, the the the the heir apparent this Aurora shunning Obama who was the hope and change guy Taylor swift to a smart not to say anything now has says something. And what she said was incredibly unintelligent late night riders on the late show talking about how great it was that at least they ruined Kavanagh's life. I listen, and I think the left I think the Democrats have jumped the shark, and it's kind of weird to watch. They normally in circling the wagons at least have a message. They've got nothing. It's weird. Eight eight eight nine four one pags eight eight nine four one seven two four seven joepags dot com. Stay here..

And in college me, we would do when we do the speed production was in the choir that, I would go and get into and play the French horn up at the saxophone. I'm pretty good news. I'm okay. But for some reason after doing all these years of talk, I guess, that's the reason. I don't have much of a falsetto anymore. I used to with a deep voice, the deep speaking was ever can sing low. But then I could also I can really scream the stuff. I I just don't have it anymore. It's so bad. Myself if the at least, very rude. This is why. Either conditioning gets fixed. I'm mad holding engineers give a little give a little bit of a payoff if they could take drag their feet on your condition, but I usually sing was high stuff. Now, if it's funny. And I'm trying to sing it. And it sounds like crap. I'll still play it. I don't care if if people make fun of me, that's fine. Entertaining. It's stupid. If it were entertaining like I did refugee. Yeah. If it's funny. I'll still play it. This wasn't funny. This was actually people would have actually felt bad for me. Ooh. My bad. Save a does not have it anymore. He's done so Nikki Haley on the way out leaving at the end of the year. She's not going to run for president in two thousand twenty. I didn't think she was going to carry polo Sam they didn't think she was going to for some reason the far left fake fake news media thought that was the appropriate question. Why are you leaving to run against him? And the courses. No, that's actually stupid. And we don't know what the next step is for her. Guy John from Michigan. He's he thinks that he saw Condoleeza Rice go to the White House or something. Maybe she's going to be the person who knows whoever it is will be somebody that will make sense in my opinion because this president if nothing else has appointed some really top notch people except for I'm going to say except for. I'm Rosa that. Yeah. That probably was a grave mistake. I was gonna say I heard one report that it could be Ivanka Trump, and but he said this afternoon. No, she would make a great ambassador and do an incredible job. But then you don't have to your anybody. Call the nepotism. So it's not like she's not working with them. Now, why why would that be any worse than the way? I think she's been a great Representative. I don't care if you hate Trump, you have to admit that a vodka Trump has done a great job everywhere. She goes she brings a very positive message states of America. I mean, that's seriously. I don't know. I don't know who it should be. But, but I I want to circle back to to battle because he say he's not interested in the endorsement of former President Obama now I hope for the next debate. And I'll is this the one in San Antonio. I believe so yes, I, by the way do know who the moderator is going to be I'm going to say it. But. I just I know is it going to be you. Well, let me ask you something. You think you think Robert Francis would ever allow me to be the moderator? No, no, it won't better question anymore. Robert francis. Wouldn't you be kind of scared of I was scared? Yeah. So it's gonna be tight. But. That's what I wonder, and I hope the moderator asked this question. Did you ask former President Obama to not endorse you or did you not get the endorsement, and then you said you're not interested in afterwards. That's important question. I think that's important. I don't think he's gonna win either way. But who is he winning over by shunning, the top dog in the democrat party without a doubt Obama still the top guy, the democrat party, Hillary Clinton that she is she's not he is so rejecting that just shows me really bad judgment as well. Not that I think it would have helped him win. But I think it certainly. It just it does not make him the star of the party that people like Ellen want want us to think that he is Ed to that. I guess Ellen Taylor swift. You've had this great back and forth on Twitter now about how right? She was to back. The democrat in Tennessee, Marsha Blackburn is no good or something.
