"Get the full picture and regardless of if it's ten twenty, thirty, forty years have gone by hearing these stories I think just are important and important to talk about, and I'm sure you also have amazing memories from Zach Stop Modeling Quarters. Like do you have a favorite cycle? was there what are some the fondest moments that stick out to you because like risk at those those early cycles it was we we watched nonstop young. I favored cycle. It's so hard because. There's so many magical moments even in later cycles when things weren't that great behind the scenes, I loved personally as an abroad location. One of my favorite abroad locations was being in Marrakech Morocco for shooting for three weeks. I. Kind of felt this real spiritual connection I did not expect to feel like never traveled there before But yeah in the early cycles were special. You know literally even the creative, it was a phone call between me entirely on the phone I'd say you know she always wanted to route it and things she had done and that was her honest intention out of the gate. So the girls could experience the industry. and. I would just say what if we did shoot like this a lot of people talk about and even psycho three. Shoot I did with the it was the Verragio jewelry with the Tarantulas and the growing alison there. But. That was really inspired by this. Old. Old. It's like an iconic jewelry ad I think the script `scuse shot at like Iman was the supermodel there like spiders and animals. I just wanted to kind of always kind of would give a nod to the greats out there and I've had the opportunity work with major photographers like any Liebowitz Richard Avedon. Herb Ritts I got to work with these created visionaries and I wanted to always. Be inspired by their work on the show. So I would say those early cycles cycle three favorite for so many people. I definitely love that cycle. It was the first cycle we had covergirl and I, and I had pitched them with our CO executive producer. They were a client of mine were proctor and gamble was, and that's how they became part of the show and it was just fun those early cycles building. It was fun from behind the scenes because we thought we were only GonNa do maybe two or three cycles that was right. Yeah. Yeah and so much more right and I see you Jay's chat on Instagram and you've been talking to models who have been on the show what was your relationship like with these contestants on the show during the time that you were filming and verse? Now. Yeah. So A lot of people we talk about on the James Chats. Because I'm person who spent the most time with the girls. So I was obviously administering challenges or Or teaches, but the photo shoots. Are, the are the longest segments of the show. You only see about eight to ten minutes of it in each episode but I, we shoot for fifteen hours. So I got to really know the girls and we'd hang out at lunch and dinner what some of it was on camera. A lot of it isn't even though the cameras were shooting, you don't see it in the final edit. So I got to learn how the girls tick and my job was always to make sure they had everything. They could to put their best foot forward so. You know some girls need a little push, shove other girls, e the handhold, and I to learn who they were. So a lot of the girls too. You know I go back to even cycle one because you can see it on camera that could even cut around it. You know they were trying to make it look like Robin was challenging me in the bathroom when we were shooting in Buddha Khan in Paris and that new jewelry shoot it was just her Shannon Alison Adrian left. Yes I do remember them all ever again. I was GONNA. Say I can't even remember like the people who some of the names of people I work with. Incredible, they all be competitive family, but there's this scene specifically were. Robin was talking about you know because she was very religious a but when the cameras weren't rolling, she was always teasing and joking with me and kind of like the spun sexual way it was kind of funny and we got along really well. So on camera she saying to me last week it was Lebron's Pani this weakest. Thong what's it going to be next week? 'cause I'm saying she could cover up with ribbons right and the thing is she goes my grandma always told me if you don't stand for something offer every nigga laughing and they tried to make it look like I'm serious but. Got Along well with the girls I didn't really have any. Kind of a negative interactions I'm sure of course there moments where were like pushing and I'm trying to get the girls to work, but we didn't not get along. So there are a lot of the models over the years I've remained in touch with a couple of my friends with and So doing this, I wanted the girls to have an opportunity to just speak about their experiences also behind the scenes because the fans WanNa know like their o. the and then also I'm kind of in those chats I only have a couple of left but we're we're also talking about the. Clearing up the rumors that people know. Yeah. They're the rumors are always always crazy and obviously you know we had asked you about Tara but are there the other panelists judges like we're at those people you've kept relationships with or not at all Oh of course? Yeah you know like I I've always loved Paulina PORCO versus before she came on the show and I knew Andre before the show you all of that so is great kind of working with them and then obviously Miss J and Nigel. We've always we're always like each other at events or Nigel's doing one of his you know kind of He does a lot of philanthropic work I go in support him..

"Several steps kind of deeper beyond just the because everyone knows reality is not real. Ok Well. All right. So what are you GonNa talk about in a novel? So ultimately, this is a character piece. And I really wanted to. It's not just about Kisha cash and Pablo Michaels, which is you over my shoulder. Just, about those two characters as a whole cast of characters, it becomes this really interesting ensemble group characters but really what I'm illustrating our human stories and my goal was to help shift the paradigm about how we look at power authority and relationships, and so when you get into these character pieces and look at what everyone's doing and people don't realize before I even started writing the book I'd outlined the story I knew I was going to do this. Really. You know I was going to break literary convention with. His very kind of jarring thing and towards the end of the book But I actually sat down with two different psychologists and I talked with them and interview them about kind of what my story was and I wanted to really discuss why certain people would react certain ways within the story and really really take apart these characters and have fun with it. So I think that's the surprising thing people are having. When they read the book they're like I. Thought this was going to be a fluffy little puff piece. And it is fun and it's meant to be. It's a very fast buck a fast paced book. It's meant to be relentless mirror the world behind the scenes fashion reality but I think the thing that people have not expected so far when they dig into it is just that it these characters are so rich and they're their characters, unto themselves that they're not meant to be like Oh. This is so and so this is so and so they really became their own their own beings. Really Right. There are so. Many. Layers to it like we said before and I feel like you're right that there is a misconception of what the book is actually about especially, people are now saying that tyra banks heard about the book and was not happy about the book. But hearing you talk about it sounds like it's not really identical to America's next top model. So how do you feel about that? Well, you know, I I totally understand that people are have made assumptions I mean look at the even the cover line on the book In it is inspired by that world, I mean there is a black supermodel host. Her name is Kiesha cash and she's the host of a show or you actually see the birth of the show it's called model Muse within the world of the book So obviously, there are parallels, but I've made it very clear that I've used kind of my life. As inspiration to tell stories very authentically but it's not they're not related McGinnis fiction and You know in terms of even quiches character you know unlike I think other stories and other books or franchises link terms of films they you know you know the I'll call it. The seemingly like the antagonist character. And I'm putting that in quotes. Is often like a bill or their just you know you know you know they're the antagonists because of the way they are and we don't ever learn why and with in in my book I wanted you know Kisha cash she's very, she's an anti hero. She's this Boehner -able rich incredible female character and I looked to people that I admire like, Shonda rhimes who blew open the doors with like how to get away with murder for instance, with analysts Keating played brilliantly by Viola. Davis. You've got this character where you love her you root for her she's powerful she strong. Then you don't trust her then you don't like her then you're matter. Then you love her again and I wanted to have a character that was just as rich and diverse because traditionally those those kind of those gem characters were always reserved for white straight men and not even you know not until even house of cards. Did we get like Claire? Underwood you know you know played by Robin Right. If. I wanted to I wanted to. Have that kind of true diversity in terms of inclusion as well in terms of this character. Yeah. Am I getting techy for you now? No I totally understand because I feel I've seen. It's like waiting for the delight and we always always pause that we don't speak. I was yeah. I was GONNA say that I've actually been seeing a lot of people talk about like why don't we ever see what like the mean girl feels like a movie like we only see the outside of her being a mean girl and not why she is that way. So I feel like I definitely get what you're saying. Yeah because there's always a contributing factor you know. One of the things that I I was always raised this way when someone is like angrier reacts to you like my mom's like well, you just really don't know what they are day was you don't know what they're processing and it's not an excuse, but it just helps put everything in perspective and I think you know I said it in in my. I talk about in my acknowledgements it's just a short paragraph to make a statement you know talking about you know you know telling our stories and our pain through comedy. It really helps us learn about humanness and how to become more humane to one another and I think that's an important message and I, think it is important to kind of understand and see the three sixty of characters so. I had a lot of fun with that and I tried to really honor that in terms of my feelings for Tyra. You know our relationship isn't what it was. However, I still will always speak positively about her i. respect everything that she represents every door she's kicked down as a woman as a black woman what she represents to so many young Brown and black girls and boys in the industry, and so I will never ever you know. Feed negatively against that..

"He has a new novel it's called the Whig, the bitch and the meltdown, and we are super excited to talk to you all about that. You have amazing setup going up behind you. It's like this whole thing, a press tour in your home. I'm assuming well, that's what it is. We're we're in a pandemic still. I'm doing my virtual press tour from one side of my office. So this is the room I. wrote the Book End. So I guess it's only fitting. I'm doing all my interviews from the other side of my desk so to speak. It looks very yeah, exactly. Because if we were doing these in person, you would have the same. You know you have the same setup Boko be everywhere. So I love that you did it on your own the big the cover art on the book is fantastic. It's. I'm just GONNA keep staring at it behind you. It's very, very cool I will say that when I was reading kinds of reading on the book and what exactly was I, feel like there's been maybe some confusion on like was this tell all is a novel what exactly this book is. So explain to everyone what this book is how it came about and Why you start writing it absolutely. So well, first of all, it's GonNa be a long answer. We're ready for. Clear to clear up everything. So it is a novel in a novel by definition is fiction. So it is a is a fictional account and you know it is inspired by my life on America's next top model but really in the entertainment industry as a whole. So it is a piece of satire. It is meant to make you laugh out loud. A lot of people say they talked to the book they. Cringe they're like, Oh, my God meant to do that. But really on purpose because if we think about it today, stories of substance are always overlooked for viral sensation. So this kind of is really this book which really has these important core themes and things that we're discussing today in twenty twenty they're baked into it. That is what gives the book, its Gravitas there's like a real gravitas to the peace and. I wanted people to kind of make some of what they think it is and even when they start reading that like Oh this is what I thought. It is set up chapters and then the book just goes there's a tone change there's all this stuff going on. It's still really really funny but at the same time I wanted to focus in on some important issues like the cost of fame and looking at the entertainments rampant abuse of power within the industry. But really that expands to you know work and power struggles in the. Workplace, which I think everyone can identify to, and then also I wanted to kind of really look at how the entertainment industry deals with just intersection -ality overall in black women's identity. So the book is really identity piece and ultimately the entire narrative is a journey of awakening and that journey of self that all of us go through and we all relate to, and that's what the book is really about. So it's not just this fund salacious tallow. There are moments in the piece that are obviously Easter egg moments for top model fans. So, they'll recognize these moments that are inspiring the story but you're getting very different Pov of what that moment is and a reason behind that moment which which is fictional and I wanted to kind of entertain people to let them go. What's true what's not? But at the same time, they're getting something that's really substantive beneath the story. Right, it sounds like there are so many layers to it, and I'm actually really really excited to read it because I was in America's next top model fan through and I really just I've seen like every season at this point. So I kinda get what you're saying about it. It's like you were able to tell things about the show while also adding things that are not real. So gives you that leeway to be like, Hey, maybe this was. You don't. WanNa, you don't WanNa spill everything because some things need to remain. An I someone asked me, would I ever do a you know a tele why didn't I do an all like total AAll memoir and personally. Excuse me. The reason I didn't want to do. You know southland moment. Might Mug of water look my Magas. Sorry about that but you know. meme like this ridiculous tell memoirs I find that a lot of memoirs promised to be Super. Juicy, they tell you nothing and they leave you frustrated and you can't really do these real real tells because I would have to move to Alaska. just hide up the rest of my life what but again using fiction to. Illustrate kind of very real issues within not only society but also within the industry I think is important and you know Dan Brown, who is someone I really admire I've read every one of his books even the ones people don't know or as familiar with but he's always cleverly weaving this a fictional narrative around very real organizations and places in people in things and I wanted to do the same thing in my book and I won't spoil this for anyone listening or for for years if not read the book, but you know they're. In, the last third of the book I had this kind of Meta fictional mechanism which breaks literary convention and wanted to kind of blur lines break the fourth wall to jolt the reader into their own world and an and the people have read. The book only just came out I'm all these messages for people going I did not see that coming Oh my God it was deep moment and I'm really hoping that that spoiler stays. Secret because it is this thing that no one expects and Was Really Fun crafting that that that moment you're making me WanNa hang up right now and go. Like now, I need to know what the spoiler. And I love it too because I don't know if you're obviously America's next top model massive reality series reminds me of kind of like how you. The bachelor everybody has so many rumors about that show and then unreal on lifetime was a satirical version was a different show. It was it was fiction but obviously, you know they had pulled stuff at everybody freaked out about unreal being like, wow it's that stuff like really happening. And so it creates that kind of discussion which I think is actually really important because it's kind of a way to like you said, shed light on these very important. Things that are happening within a reality show that I had John in fiction that lake maybe a nonfiction it it's too much. It blows it open. Yeah. Yeah and yeah unreal which I totally appreciate the success of that that show and and the excitement around it I felt like coming out with a knob Hill I had to kind of go..

"Cook is doing a charity event, which will be a table read of the fast times at Ridgemont high. A virtually and we got some big stars joining the table read including Jennifer Aniston and Brad hit people are freaking out about this because that means we may actually see Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt interact virtually, which is what the world needs right now. I completely agree this is a really nice idea. I think this has been going on. A lot of quarantine stars have been doing things like this so. and. It's a crazy cool group of people, Right. So these star said cast of the fast. Times Ridgemont high table read. They added Brad Pitt and Jimmy Kimmel and they joined Jennifer Aniston. Julia. Roberts Matthew mcconaughey Morgan Freeman Henry Golden, child above Dame Cook and Sean Penn. so that's is a lot of very famous people. And that's a cool group. I'm assuming they're all doing although. What they all be doing it virtually or they want to sit in the same room no, they're doing virtually. Okay. So they're not even GONNA be in the same room together. No, they're not gonNA, be in the same room but say they have parts that have lines together. Then we will try them interact and that would be a beautiful thing. We don't know desperate to watch them talk to each other I'm desperate for it. Just anything be a little dose of Serotonin in my life will be good for me but yeah, it's going to be. Cool to see I obviously, not obviously. But I have never seen this movie and I feel like it's a classic but it came out like you've ever seen this movie you know and you know what's crazy I talked about this case in Trenton they're a little older than we are and they never seen it either and they got offended that I got offended that I said that some they're like came out in one, thousand, nine, hundred to. Well. You know we've seen a lot of movies that came out in the eighties. I just haven't seen. This yeah. Yeah. I know is like I feel like I should be banned I'm pretty bad with bad with old older movies like Joe Makes. Fun of me all the time for all the movies that I have watched and I have no desire to watch for that is that is one that I have that I have watched. Yes I feel like maybe I, need to watch it before the table read. So I know it's going on. Yeah I think it's you gotTA. Know who the people are that that they're playing I I don't know because they're all if it's Sean Penn to if they're not playing their. Characters if they're reading for other people. Than I feel like you gotta get the real thing to Sean Penn is not playing his part he said so yeah. Okay. So then you've got, you gotta see you gotTa Watch the movie. Foreshore. Matthew mcconaughey a are you dazed and confused or was he in Fast Times at Ridgemont High Because I think. I. Don't think he was in fast times at Ridgemont. High I think he was just Sean Penn just Sean Penn. Yeah. I'm probably combining them in my then you are because he was dazed and confused which I think people I think that's an easy movie to get confused with Fast Times at Ridgemont high up I'm definitely can combining the two I do know I mean I know Sean Penn speak only that's rich. Hi. Yes and Matthew mcconaughey was not an ozzy. So Meghan will be at the table read but he was not in that. Yes. Lady is non penn the was on Penn is but not reading for scully no. So it will be interesting to see their latest. Holy Right. WHO's leading, play his on part, right like who gets to read I the goalie out of all most people probably like Shyla buff I feel like that would make the most sense that'd be pretty cool. Haven't seen shine a little while so that would be exciting. Right? As one, the rains came. then. A hollow. Plan. A Skipping and a jumping. A hot. Bath. Brand. L.. Say everyone freaked out after seeing a post from Kelley Jenner an instagram post the Internet thought that her original caption on the picture was brown skinned girl and that she edited it and then made it brown eyed girl. Everybody obviously freaked out because that is a ridiculous thing to make her caption and outrage would be fitting. If she actually made that her caption somebody photoshop date, spread it around the Internet made everybody freak out I guess someone who just you know wanted to make Kylie look that. This is what I cannot stand about the Internet. These are the Times I fucking hate the Internet is when something like this happens, people can literally photoshop anything and make people look like they said something or whatever it is, and this is a perfect example of that case because obviously this started going around and. And we what the Fuck Kylie like what the fuck is wrong with you while riding. Outlets were paying up. wrote a barrier they were reporting as if it was true and even we talked about it and we were like you like me we might be photoshop like they're are tone deaf sometimes the Kardashians we all know that but like are they this tone to make that the caption like I had a hard time believing it but at the same time, I was like if all. These news outlets are picking up maybe it is true. Maybe it is photoshop and that is what is so dangerous about the Internet is that you can make anybody seemed like they said something or posted something with the Little Photoshop and then not person needs to defend themselves, and then even when they do defend themselves, people don't believe them because of the fake photoshop it on Tiktok. All the time because you can do at people's videos and you can you can put text over the video. So you can make video, go viral and make it seem like somebody wrote something on their tiktok that they never even Roman unless you go to the original page and the person who originally posted it. Then you're going to believe that they wrote that thing and I think. It's such a dangerous game to play especially when there are people who are making mistakes and who do need to learn from their mistakes, and then you're just making it up and it just is defeats the purpose of anything it just so stupid like why what, what are you gaining from doing that? It's not like you. You're not gaining anything for making fake post of of someone. Is Ridiculous and she posted on her own in Scrim stories clarifying because the caption the picture did say edited but that was because she had originally posted a picture with just two emojis as the caption and then changed to Brown eyed girl and somebody photo shopped it I don't know you just gotTa be A bad sad person I guess to to do those kinds of things does really make any sense..

"We, of course, have another bachelorette update. This is going to be the most dramatic season yet Clare Crawley and Chris Harrison were both spotted back on set after hearing that Clare Crawley's was no longer the Bachelorette and Chris Harrison had to quarantine for fourteen days. So why were they seeing back on set? I don't know. You know what I wish. I had the answers zero answers only questions only questions It looks like Chris, back back onset looks like Clare's back on set I I'm not sure what the timeline is like they said Chris Harrison was quarantined for fourteen days but I don't think it's been fourteen days. It's all very it's all very confusing claire did she even ever leave I don't know maybe she never even left. Filming, they had some stuff from the beginning that they need to reshoot was her. Maybe. She's I. There's there's only eight questions. Only, questions possibilities are endless I said that yesterday on the group Chat I said that maybe there were scenes from the beginning that Chris, Harrison and Clare Crawley's needed to reshoot sage like the most likely reason because at this point if Teasha is the new Bachelorette, which I'm sure she is because it's been confirmed why would they need Clare back on set in a beautiful readdress looking absolutely stunning like the Bachelorette if she was not the Bachelorette and as Chris Harrison dotty had the quarantine for fourteen days maybe they just switched it to he had to get tested in that was in if he was negative, he was allowed to come back maybe. He wasn't comfortable with the fact that he wouldn't be there because he's Chris Harrison he's the host of the show and he just can't not be the center of the show I? We got a call Robert Mills up and be like, Yo Bro, what is happening because this show is a disaster right now and I'm all for though like as much as there are so many different rumors and so many different things going around at this point like I, said every single podcast I just need the show to air because whatever it is it's going to be juicy it's going to be dramatic. We don't even know the half of it, I'm sure. I know. Did you see this article also about if So the rumor obviously was that Clare and Dale were communicating before. The. Season started like before they got to this resort they were in communication or talk to whatever. Apparently Dale's sister. Is Denying those claims. Dale mosses sister said quote that's tarnishing my brother's name and its completely false your source for that information is lying i. know that because I spent every day with my brother leading up to production never once did he reach out nor was he ever contacted by Clare? Chelsea said, my brother was extremely adamant about the rules contracts in privacy he had everything to lose nothing to gain by communicating beforehand. So, Michelle money also said that Clare Never spoke to Dell before filming. Michelle, they're our good friends. Either way. Tarnishing his name like who is that upset that they started talking beforehand if that did happen because I well I don't be. Mike I. Think I. Probably Bachelorette purists who would be would be mad about that. True, very good point yet I just old the. Older the trolls of the MOMS who like Sen, tyler? Cameron. Mediums like definitely. True I feel like they're like, yeah that's against the rules even though we've learned at this point, there are no rules. So why are we GONNA get mad if Clare was talking to somebody beforehand especially when you know quarantine happened if you were trying to get ahead and they weren't really. Punishing you for that. Then why wouldn't you? If everyone's denying it maybe they didn't speak beforehand. Maybe they just really fell in love in that short time which once again, find it crazy. But a lot of Graham. Saying if you know Clare then it's not shocking. Yeah Yeah. So we'll see I it's just we're along for this ride I did see that they. Announced dancing with the stars is back on September fourteenth. So. If the Bachelorette could be somewhere around that time. That would be fantastic. I don't know what I will do when the show returns I may streak around my apartment and then jump around on my balcony naked of excitement i. need to do something crazy to show how excited I am for the show I truthfully needed. I know you should So I started that book one to watch and. I. Think you should read it because it is a very good like Bachelorette's substitute right now like I feel like I'm watching the show but I'm just reading it. It's it's literally like the same exact thing the same format. And it has like same. You know similarities and obviously I I don't know if anyone seeing this book is called one to watch and it's about how show like the BACHELORETTE's call main squeeze gets a plus size woman to be the lead on the show. And obviously, that's. That lowe's up initi- is a fashion blogger, and so she already has some fame and then she gets to be quote the main squeeze and I I just started it. I'm loving it. When you know the first page has a quote from William William Shakespeare and a quote from Chris Harrison you know that's going to be a good buck absolutely that sounds like my book I actually ordered it last week when we talked about it so. Raising and yeah, you're right. It sounds like the perfect. It's a good way to like yes. Because we're so deprived and just looking for anything that this is a great way to like try and train. US up some time because I'm hoping with dancing with the stars that September fourteenth and the Bachelorette is somewhere around that time I don't know I hope. If dancing with the stars is on and the Bachelor is not going to watch with the stars. Well, I'm actually GonNa Watch. Get, Anyway So I'm not going to miss that I need. She does a really rooting heart for her like just yeah. That'd be fucking amazing if you want so I'm rooting for that. Exactly. So hopefully, it's around that time and we'll finally get all the answers we've been searching for. God. OFF Gone. By these..

They have a wine for every occasion. Absolutely. So keep drinking that Francia keep tagging us in your post, and we will share it all over social media and Jessica Magliana. How're you doing on this? Lovely not really lovely. Actually, it's raining right now. Wednesday. Morning this is an early podcast for us. We don't usually record at eleven am on any day of the week. Don't even know where I am I know I know. People in its eleven. Am You snug? Well, you know we don't require the podcast early usually. Come out during the day. I say, yeah. We normally record our show around four o'clock. So considering that it is definitely white earlier I've also never recorded in the midst of. Thunderstorm it's thunder storming here. That's not true that can't possibly be true in this house. I don't believe that I feel like we've had some rain in the past five months. No there has been there was one time where we recorded during a thunderstorm with the doing an interview, and there was one time when we did the questions Kaitlyn Bristowe and it was like storming crazy but. They're. GonNa. Darling, different of course areas. Specific moment, right And that's that's all I. Don't know there's something about waking up and it being like rainy thunderstorm where you just. Don't want to leave your house. Well, yeah we're. We're supposed to do something together today if people are wondering why Fran is hinting at the. I I love the rain honestly like when I wake on Audi attack. All Nice. But you don't WanNa go outside. Not really but. At least I won't sweat from walking outside. Yeah. You just get wet what? We'll have an umbrella that's even worse. The reason I know chiming in right now is because we are supposed to see each other all today we're. All be together reunited because we are going to film. A couple of youtube videos we did the story of on Youtube with Haley Justin, Bieber, and also Jonasson Sophie Turner and those seem like they went off well on, but then a quarantine hit so we didn't get to film. So today we were planning on shooting four of them very exciting bites. Francesca to see know the weather is really hold hold on he does not want to get on the train to come to the city and I don't blame I. Don't blamer and this is it's my time taking the train if it happens I, it's. Like being. A person again. Here we You're not as much of a scaredy cat is I am no. I'm scared of what? Like getting. Things public transportation I am kind of I don't WanNa get it but like. Neither do I. Well. Friend didn't you drive to the city last time? I did yes. What's holding you back from driving this time? Rain. Okay also. Also, we have meetings tomorrow. So if I, if if I was to come into the city today I would just stay in the city overnight in which case I don't want to. Bring my car and have to pay to park in a garage. Rene absolutely makes is just yeah. I wouldn't WanNa do that. So if if we were just going in for one day. Let's say Thursday. Cook drive then I was like. Myself in dramas. I I'm I'm really advancing points. I'm seeing both sides of this because I'm in the city already. So there's I have no say I can't be like I. Don't want to today because I'm already here I'm nearly ten minutes away from the office. So yeah, doesn't matter to me but I understand if I was on long island right now like. Two days in a road sounds as. House we all. Have I was yesterday. As well. Yeah Yeah. Well, that's pending. That's rain pending I feel to it is rain pending. Yeah. So anyway, there's that's enough of our daily. Conversation between the while he was Noah, you just said you moved into a new apartment just want to say, congrats, we haven't really heard from you much on this podcast I. Feel like you've been pretty quiet. More what are your thoughts on the new apartment I don't know that. Big Crack Thunder when you said, no. Inside my apartment broken into or something. I mean other than that. That's very exciting I. Know It's Nice. It's actually like exciting to be an apartment that is somewhat nice compared to where Dana. It's not I'm excited. I have windows that I can see things. On like. Are. You going to have like furniture and yeah I plan on getting all I plan on. A desk in. Life Real. I'm trying to make it. Yeah I mean considering the last like you guys you have table in your last minute table, we don't have. For, like six months so man no it injuring any water because he didn't have actually been very hydrated this. Corinthian. Just like to say, Oh, you're I, mean your with your parents I'm sure your mom keeps you hydrated. Like. Bottles Sir Reusable, we did talk about it did yep, he did get a water bottle very exciting news very exciting. Really thrilling. You say hydrated it really is. Noah you guys didn't have couch for six months, but then when you got the couch I. Ever, talked about that in the podcast but returned A to. Literally through the entire Joe through his couch. Heard this well. I. Don't know I feel like we Kinda kept hush hush but I also it was hilarious but I also felt really bad a we used to live underneath Nella.

"News is ongoing. Generous. Ongoing News that won't stop are one nemesis might be replaced by our other nemesis. On their talk show the Ellen show. Well, these are that this is them news, but I do feel like Ellen could be replaced with a WHO, if this all comes to fruition or like a WHO thinks so too person because I'm seeing a lot of people nominate various talk show e people although apparently the rumors are like James Corden is going to replace Ellen, but like he has a show so. That makes no sense to me on any. That's what blows my mind. Why he has eight hundred shows. He has just made another daily show like that doesn't make any sense to me at on. The also has carpool. Karaoke. And then he also has the cat sequel like he has plenty, oh. Yeah. Let's replace a supposedly nice person with another supposedly nice person like. Haven't. We learned anything from this thing. These people are Nice. They suck. I think always be wary of people who say their thing is being. I think the number, one person who should clearly replace Allen is Kiki Palmer. There's literally no. Better obvious. Getting a lot of a lot of traction and she showing up a lot of tweets because it's like she just had a talk show that got canceled for no reason on ABC. Well, it was like that one hour of Commerical Strahan. Michael? And Kiki Sarah? There was A. Third Sarah. Sarah. And Michael and Kiki <hes>. It just give it to clean working it. Just everyone likes he. We Love Kiki. She's a great host. Who else do you think if if we're going if for skewing young? I think we to Kiki for skewing older, I think it should go to fucking the woman who should have gotten David Letterman, amy. Sedaris like give it to amy sedaris because people like her. She's silly. I don't know that, amy, the thing is I. Don't know that Amy Sarah's would want to do that I. Feel like. I don't need that. We're talking about this on the Patriot. If you WANNA. Go listen to that about how drew Barrymore also has daily, show a daytime show coming out, and I'm like who would want this job? Drew Barrymore wants this job since when like it's just to meal a a weird job that you wouldn't want that could turn you or probably. Turn you into a monster, right? Yes. <hes>, but the to provide a context in case you've been under a rock people are like there. There have been the rumors for years and years and years, but specifically the past few months they've really you know the hit a critical mass and started being reported publicly like Ellen is an asshole to everyone. Ellen is an asshole. The people she works with Ellen makes people not talk to her ellen cruel. But now there are reports by like news and variety and insider that it wasn't just ellen being a to everyone and celebrities and not liking Ellen like being on Ellen show. It's that the executive producers were actually like being abusive like in sexually harassing the employees. So it's like a culture. Culture of toxicity. That is the sort of thing that I don't that Ellen is deciding up allegedly that she doesn't want to deal with anymore. So she's like this sucks like I just rather not do this anymore. Right. So but this rumor, this isn't this is in fact, this is rumor because people keep their keep going back and forth and saying some some sources say she's not leaving this show sums his sources as she's leaving the show. I. Can't imagine somebody as likely a annoyed with the whole situation who is known to be not a very nice person would want to continue to fake be nice and have to apologize and half to like kind of whatever because these rumors have been. Kind of like I for some reason I, keeping you Kevin Spacey Pre the abuse <hes> allegations like when everyone knew he was gay, but no one knew he was gay like it was weird thing where it was like if you knew, you knew if you didn't, you had no idea what be totally shocked it. Kind of feels like that type of Hollywood news where like everyone knew that Ellen was secretly mean except for Ellen fans who had no idea where living happily with ellen everyday of their life and like the show was wildly successful, right? <hes> very strange. A very strange thing. Do you think that this will happen because people are so bored in their craving, the Gospel, and then somebody just this is this is what I mean I, think it's I mean. It's a combination of a lot of things at one of is like the people finally speaking out about their employers. It's like finally like shutting down like the. The systemic issues and leg, not being corporate America and knowing that people will support them and believe them and believe them, and that like the media machine of Ellen isn't powerful enough to shut down. So many voices if enough come out and and we'll talk about it later in the episode, but it's like the it's similar to the. Vanessa. Morgan thing, it's it's shades of an ESA Morgan being like I'm going to speak up against the riverdale creators and the Riverdale producers because people are people are realizing that they can do that and they won't get like dumped on by the press or of their fans they will be seen as like heroes. But. It's also just like, I, Think Dakota Johnson had a tiny bit to do with it because Dakota Johnsons like Open crubaugh open open. Rudeness to Ellen SORTA. Gave People. I don't know permission to speak about rumors that she's an asshole more openly. They're like, it looks like that's what Dakota's referencing. So I didn't even know you liked me. Of course, I. Like you. You Knew I. Liked you. You've been on the show many times and don't I show like. But I did invite you and you didn't come. So this time you invited me, are you sure? How do you? I don't think. So ask everybody. Jonathan. Your producer. I was that, why didn't I go? I don't know that became a meme. You have people like Brad Garret and who else replied to him. Leah Tom's Tom's joins. She is mean she is. She. Yes. Now, I can't believe I just called the Thomson. So Deutsche US minor. That was obsessed the disease of this show right here. Yeah. Leah Thompson also respond to that and said Yep I mean, I just think that it's like no one was a true story note once you lose grip on the fear, you are the power you had over I mean, and it's funny because then you have scooter Braun coming out her being like Ellen is great. I. Love Allen is like so people still. Look at the people coming out and say L. Like scooters, hedging his bets at this, all go away and back to normal and Ellen will still be powerful and whatever, and then you have people speaking out i. just it's a fascinating reveal of a monolith almost kind of crumbling that you didn't think would ever. Be exposed like this. I didn't. It seems like Palmer is getting a lot of <hes>. A lot of press over like a lot of tweets being could replace. Ellen is trending key Palmer got a lot. Tiffany haddish. Got A lot that woman who does the like trump impersonations? What's her name? Sarah? Cooper. She got a lot of people tweeting about her I mean, I think it's just bomber just someone who someone who actually. Got Some tweets booing reply Oh doodoo be from drag race also got A. Drag. Race. Got I. saw that. Yeah. But I think he palmer when you when you want someone who has like the resume as well like. You of don't WANNA, pick someone random like Sarah Cooper. As funny as she is on twitter, because like her her her skills as a as an interviewer, not proven whereas Kiki, Palmer is a link interviewer host. Yeah I mean I would say like the Ellen slots, big slot made we just move up the ladder. We get Kelly Clarkson in that slot. We get Drew Barrymore Kelly was and we get key. Palmer. Work. Curse, lot I know these are all people on different network. So it makes literally no sense but you. Better like we. We cannot confuse the audience. We must replace the Ellen show with someone named. Ellen. Ellen Ellen. Page's like don't look at me like another gay. Just like I will not I will. Zone POMPEO, she wouldn't do it. I. Don't I don't need Elon Pale. Ellen Page Ellen Popular, and Never Would Ellen Pompeo every interview Ellen Pao's ever done. It's been like I. Love Grey's Anatomy I. have nothing but free time like. She will never do that. You know who would do it. Who Ellen Barkin? Embark and all Ellen Barkin wants is a soapbox like did someone say soapbox?
Former 'Ellen' Producer Says DeGeneres Was Aware of Abuses
"Former Ellen Show employees, they report sexual harassment and misconduct by top executive producers. And it runs rampant behind the scenes. That's the word on it all starts at the top. It does. I guess it does go. Apparently, ex employees say one executive producer had a reputation of being hands E with the women and then another solicited aural sects at a work party. Never do that at a work party. No, no, and I'm sure it was well received. Sure, yeah, Always a good move. So what? So now the Twitterverse, everybody you're trying to side who's going to be Ellen's replacement. She's not coming back. Well, will the requirement. Be that that it's Ah gay person? I bet I, It has to be otherwise it would look horrible. I'm sure that's going to be the number one priority, and hopefully they have talent. Beyond that. You may be right. I would kind of lead towards funny and entertaining. Well, that it's not that easy anymore, Todd. I guess it is you got you got more, but it's hard to be funny these days. Hopefully, yeah, yeah, ISS it is It's It's hard. It's hard to To know when it's okay to be funny when it's not okay to funny when it's be OK. They said. OK to laugh. Is it not okay? I don't know. S O just got rid of bullying in our schools. That's why that's what happened to make bully and great again. The tide had done shall making bullying great again. How do you pronounce it? Marga? I don't know how you pronounce it AA aa. You're right. It worded the good old bullying Go.

But you lost didn't Jesse Kelly. Jesse Kelly joins us now your biggest claim to fame as the Twitter has now silenced. You did have you heard anything from Twitter Jessie about why you've been shut down banned from Twitter, not a thing. That's what still bizarrely not a single thing. Everybody else's offended or trouble. They get these messages telling them what what they did wrong. But I don't do bad things on Twitter, violates Twitter's rules. I don't tell us. I don't rash people. I don't promote violence. I don't do. Any of that? And they just find out wipe the account was sent me develop that you're gonna maybe it's just that they they can't pinpoint just one thing Jesse. You know, there's so much to go after that. They just decided, you know, we can't be specific. Well, they did say the Email that it's repeated violations of their rules, but I've never been notified of a single violation of the rules that I don't buy late their rule. Yeah. But the thing is I think Twitter's is jealous of how great my Twitter account was my account. Tiger woods. He goes in the ratings. Double count was actually bigger than Twitter itself. Dan, you're making us all look bad. You know, and by the way, you should be happy everybody, I know, Kurt Schlichter idol, Kurt Schlichter is he's he's very happy. He called me after the van. He's gotta be thrilled. I but seriously, and I appreciate you. Actually, you're being more than a good sport about this year, actually, more emboldened than ever because of this are you you're you're basically saying this is this is Twitter death. Now, explain that it is this hurts them more than it hurts me. I've got a great radio show. I've got a great life. I have wise. Time. I'm on your show. I do great things. My life is good. I don't need Twitter. Twitter needs me. But quitter needs a reputation right now, Twitter's reputation is that they left wing publisher who is silencing voices on the right in every bit of evidence points to that. Being the case now is the one what the real trouble here. Now, we have automakers just saw Senator begs of all people tweeted about it. We have lawmakers attacking Twitter over the over this. Spanish, they're in trouble their reputation. Tell them is just if someone is sitting on the beltway right now in some nasty DC traffic, and they're heading home from a long day's work. And they're thinking why should I care if somebody can't tweet their political opinions on Twitter anymore? Why are we making such a big deal out of this? Can you explain kind of the bigger picture, and you've been making this point from the moment? They started going after Alex Jones and some other conservative voices and social media. Why is this important? Sometimes there's a generational gap in helping people understand what social media has become. But there are two point five billion users with a b a Facebook and Twitter two point five billion to say, it's just Twitter or it's just Facebook would be like saying, it's just the telephone or it's just Email. No social media is not a few nerd sitting in a college dorm room anymore. Social media is the way people network. It's the way they communicate. It's the way where the common man forget about me. I had a big Twitter account, and I have a show all these things the normal person can reach out to anybody. It his voice be heard his voice be spread across the great thing. It can't be a great thing. If we're going to allow the left is to holy control them in silence. And censor Eddie buddy was a dissenting voice. That's scary. Social not small social media is the way with the future. There's a lot of libertarian types, and their argument actually, sort of it appeals to me until I think about it a little deeper, but the argument goes like this Jesse Kelly. Listen, Twitter's a private company Facebook's, a private company, Google's credit company. They're not the federal government. It's not an infringement on your first amendment rights because it's not like congress is saying band Jesse Kelly. So if conservatives want to fight back, we should create our own playground that we can play with in the meantime, why should we complain? Wh what's wrong with that argument? I mean, why should we suggest that a corporation should adopt constitutional values in the way, they go about their business. Well, we shouldn't. We don't want to empower the government to control social media in any way. So they're not necessarily. Why would they make that argument? But and this is a big. Dot. Twitter is treated by law. Senator take cruises tweeted about this has talked about this Twitter is treated by law. As a platform as an open platform, that's the way their tax structures. That's the way they're treated only. They're not a platform when you routinely band voices on the right and voices on the right? You're not a platform anymore. You are now a publisher now your progress. Now, you're Newsweek now, you're the New York Times. And so you are now governed under different laws, and they need to be governed under those laws. They're clearly a publisher. And that's why I warned everybody back in August when they banned Alex Jones. Yeah. Alex Jones is a nutjob. But I thought everybody you ought to be careful what he was was a test case because they're going to start coming for more mainstream conservative voices and turned out. I was. Yeah. It's true. Jesse Kelly's our guests. Bring cart combat veteran. He is a radio host. But we don't talk about that. Because it's the only radio show you care about. And he's also cedar to the federals recently banned from Twitter for being conservative that it really is you're guilty for being conservative. They're also something else happened over the weekend. In fact, I think you were commenting on it. The people started getting banned from Twitter because they were expressing their. Opinion that if a person is born male just because they put on a dress and say that they're female that doesn't actually make them female. This is not part of their policy. Am I am? I correct there. You are correct there. And that's what I want. I'm glad you brought it up. That's what I want people to understand. But we talk about dissenting voices. We're not talking about lower taxes. We're not talking about maybe a different view on abortion. We're talking about basics. Like science like saying, Amanda Borden band is a man these insane. The most insane liberal policies in Saint liberal platforms. You can think of are now being entrenched in etched in stone in our society and anybody who says otherwise it's going to get tough. And that is a scary scary place to be Jesse. I got to ask you. How long has it been forty eight hours now two days when did this happen Saturday? I think it feels less than twenty four hours. It happened yesterday. All right. Putting up Christmas lights, which I'd rather be shoving a nail with by putting a Christmas by somebody. All right. So you must be going nuts. I mean, the gimme gimme a few tweets here. Jesse that you you wish you could have tweeted in the last twenty four hours, but you weren't able to do if I had to tweet one thing right now. Larry all I would say is Twitter needs me more than I need Twitter. Life is good. Could you take me on that? At least could you? I would. But I can't tweet it could you could you at least direct people to Larry O'Connor show dot com in the tweet. I guy got I'm giving you this platform. I can't put it out there. I am band. Apparently the Twitter back. All right. Well, I think we'll all tweet that for you. Have you seen by the way, the reaction? Did you see that insta- pundit his deactivated his account one of the most popular and gosh, I mean Glenn Reynolds evinced opponent is sort of the grandfather of us all in the in the micro blogging blogging community. A lot of people are coming out on your behalf. Do you think that will make a difference? It's certainly might. I will tell you. Now, I knew my account was was was fairly popular. I've been a bit floored at this reaction when there are senators tweeting about it. I I I'm I'm a little bit Florida got quite this big. But I think people are waking up again, it was easy to laugh it off. But it was some nut job on the fridge. When they come for me. I mean, like I said, I don't even cuss on there. They decide I I'm not allowed to have the more people on the right really should wake up. By the way, any liberals anyone on the left coming out in favor of on your behalf. And supporting you there were as a matter of fact, in fact, one of Ellen's producers, Andy last body, your mind came out and said, some seventy screech out of it. Loud buddy said I don't agree with Jesse on a single political thing in this world of this banishment is complete garbage every done anything to anybody could for habit. I don't. But I'll tell you what I did do. I spoke the truth, and that is becoming a dangerous thing these days, by the way, Jesse Kelly despite a couple of people from weekly standard sort of celebrating you being banned even Bill Kristol went so far is to say that he tended to agree that you shouldn't have been banned. That's why you said he tended to agree with that. But he wouldn't he wouldn't go further than that. Does that does that? Well, I I appreciate him taking a strong stance. Jesse kelly. Thanks for joining us. Now that you can't tweet. You know, you're welcome here anytime, I know you've got a little radio show. But you know, this is wwl mayo in Washington DC, so need I say more. Big time, man. Jesse same here. Thank you for everything. That's just see Kelly their boys and girls, and he's not on Twitter anymore. But I think he'll be back. I think I think what's going to happen is they're going to bring him back. And he's going to say, you know, what I'm good. I don't need to be back that I hope that happens. In fact, we might need to do that sometime soon here very sent its four fifteen let's check in with Ron bell. Syracuse in the Hadeed carpet cleaning traffic center.

"Oh, yeah. This is why there let's go back to know who knows isn't Instagram celebrity do not again. So she did an interview with Marie Claire because she is on the major circuit with her new book and Booker line target involve. On line. Right. So is the clothing line out when does. Yeah. She's done this before she's done things with them before. This is your second Chrissy, plus revolve. All right. So she says that it's really about what to wear when you're driving to preschool that is sort of. The major impetus for the collection. She wants to be able to pop out of the car hanging out with other moms and still look like she has her bleep going on. That's what she says. She didn't say bleep though. No, she didn't. And so she calls it effortless effortless chic now, the her favorite piece in the collection, which is available at revolve dot com and isn't super cheap. I mean, it's like, you know, two fifty and up. It's the black T duster. Now it helps to have legs because she's wearing. Whole vision is like cut off Jean shorts. It helps also to live in California. Cut up Jean shorts a t shirt, and then this black duster. It does the high. Leto sandals rats. That's what everyone wears to preschool off, isn't that? Yeah. All right. So they asked Chrissy for her Goto style tip. She said a boyfriend, gene. Low on the waist interesting because he's just really coming back low on the way, she said, she finds them two or three sizes up. She said, I don't know if it's just my changing body but boyfriend genes that making them slimmer and slimmer they're not what they used to be. It's supposed to look like, you bound appear your man's jeans. Just throw them on the knees, and she wants some extra big so feel free feel free. Piece that she would most loves for a lazy day outfit. Michelle have lazy days like Chrissy teigen's? Right. She said that ninety percent of her day is lazy and her favorite is her Elijah cardigans super cozy you can dress it up you can wrap it around you can wear it anywhere. It's I'm checking on the price for you right now. Okay. Oh, they're not again three twenty eight. Oh, I did not realize they were as expensive as longer but longer, and she's peering. It's interesting 'cause she's pairing the longer cardigan with a fuller cut, gene. I think a lot of times we think well longer sweater. We need like really skit out. But I think that that again depends on you if you're five feet tall that doesn't look. So good. You know? I mean, you do have to kind of take your own body into consideration. This is twinned planning these things I would say this is true. Home. What did you see her go through the haunted house for Ellen? I didn't know she in Andy Ellen's producer went through the haunted house. Didn't you say they do that every year? But not with her. This was the first thing she did she and her mother went through it was pretty funny Ellen and her mother, Kris..

We internet stalked you quickly and love it figured out that you were on Ellen. Why I was for singing. Yeah. Oh, my gosh, tells about an amazing singer. Thank you so two thousand eleven. I was living in Michigan. I did a cover of. I did like a mash up cover of Brittany. Spears and Bruno Mars and press Hilton, put it on his website. He put a few things up and then Britney Spears dot com. Put it up, and then I have. I had an Email from like Ellen Degeneres producers and I'm living in Michigan. I've never been on TV. I've never been to Los Angeles. We didn't even have to know. So I thought it was fake doing a phone call with them, and it turned out to be real. If days later they brought me out, I couldn't tell anyone where I was going. So I'm like flying into l. a. just secretly I went on, so I didn't meet her beforehand, but I met her like, I mean, I actually went out, did my little dance sat down and actually talk to her. I talked a lot about it was during it gets better thing online bullying. So I think that they were interested in kind of my back story of like just being someone that doesn't look like who people expect online and a lot of backlash for it to talk about that. And then I performed the song I was freaking out the entire town. I was like, I couldn't eat. I couldn't sleep. I confess I had no concept of how big I mean. I knew how big it was, but I didn't understand. I think how many people were seeing it. Right. And then at the end of the episode, so when I was talking to producers, they had asked me, you know, who do you listen to like? Who do you like? And I had said, oh, I started playing music because of Jason Meraz interest pretty men. And I really liked acoustic music. I was like, I really like this little UK artist right now called Adele, like she hadn't put an element over here. She only had nineteen. So I was like watching her stuff on YouTube and I was like, she's really, really good. So at the end of the episode Ellen's, like aweso were having a dull next month. We're going to bring you back on my gosh. So they brought me back to like watcher soundcheck and like hang out at the show almost a month later, come back to LA. I'm sitting at her sound check. It's like knee and Ellen producers. And at some point they sent me the video of this. It's like creepy and there's no audio to it really. But Ellen goes up to Dell's. She's like, oh yeah, this girl here. Megan and Adele looks like, oh, I know her done covers her stuff. So there's like creepy footage of me and Adele and Ellen, just like sitting there other. Adults talking about how much she hates lying and I'm freaking out. And so I think I handed her a CD at some point. I have no idea basically adult Airbus friends that is incredible. That's such a own my God. That's really cool..

And Tristesse is still betting on Nikki Haley as she. And she's at the same thing. She's I think it was written by a woman and then. John was that Kellyanne is duplicitous enough to duplicitous has this. I'm sorry. I can't get words whatever to get. Lodestar to mess with Mike Pence. Oh, yeah. The only one that uses that word someone did a whole mash up of him saying who's who uses the word lodestar. Yeah. So yeah. Either either anonymous framingham a lot. Well, right.
