"Couldn't still can't really get out of the fog. you know without rehashing everything that happened I happened to come across video about thirty forty minutes after it went by I didn't even know what I was watching the honest, and and then I cried. You know like I think. A lot of people have done I won't go into my whole history but I. I grew up. A decent chunk of my life was deep in raisin? Revolting, racism things that I think that I personally witnessed growing up. I'm grateful to not about that anymore, but yet it's still there and it's time. Now. We should say so the Song Lam. People don't get too excited. I have a theme song for the show that Stub. Let's finish. Gamov Hints Game Game Game Gains Let's have fun. Far Yeah So. "But he has to be you. It's sort of seemed like during these periods. Where all of the interviews you spark about you were going to non dairy base milks and probably most most of us that switched to this? He thought stuff is shit. Like it's it's either sweet or it's full of things like for me as someone who had fructose. Intolerance lactose intolerance like the Amana things in it would like set me off so I couldn't even I couldn't even really have it. I just think think of one. I used to have like a couple of years ago almond breeze but I couldn't have more than fifty miles at a time because it had like. It has so much stuff in there and then I moved to. I don't know we think about them. USTRALIA zone I don't like that. They put sunflower oil. And and then now all in the last six months probably are being consuming Alma. That's why when I go to the emails like hey next door. The cafe downstairs next all uses Alma Elmer and I would always get like an hot chocolate caffe latte or whatever and I was like. Oh what's the what's the milk I'll know and then like I saw more mole and then I noticed the up the verd- supplied it so we switched that probably six months ago. And it's a lot it just I. I feel like getting rid of the sunflower oil really helps. And they oversee put a lot of binding agents absolutely in in a lot of these mixtures which is what sets me off. It's those binding agents like when I have protein powder if they have like soil lecithin or something like that data really luck is not good. Yeah you think you're drinking a healthy almond milk and then all of a sudden you look at the pack and you're like what soy it's got vegetable oils. It's got corn phone. It's got sugar. Flavoring and Corn Syrup really imported almonds stat Possibly grinded such terrible way stanton anyway so exactly that you've hit it right on the head I just saw these. US Almond milk coming onto our supermarket shelves going. This is an almond milk. It's just full of crap. We've totally busted. Is the health food industry where people actually think doing themselves a favor drinking on milk and drinking being Soy Milk but yet actually don't know how it's made Watson the product what's in their almond latter-day at it's like guys. Why are you even drinking knits? But look we also time poor in this day and age. We assume we read an article will then jump onto almond milk or jump onto eating high protein diets but not actually understand the impact or the quality of what we're consuming. Yes sort of to me. It was like the low fat thing in the industry like everyone got into low fat and then most of the low founders just stuff sugar yes to to replace the Giga food designed to replace. The Calorie somehow has to exist to make this thing work so so to me. It was like a big Aha. I'm I'm sure you would have had the same so it had me thinking. How does someone go from looking at this stuff in the supermarket to experimenting acting in your kitchen and one of the first experimentation look it was interesting but actually sort of skip the kitchen I ended up going to a company called dairy innovational Stralia which was a government? Funded dairy focused plan and literally went to speak to some food technologists handing them a bucket of this beautiful almond paste. That I had gotten my hands on and said guys we need to come up. Appointed a really premium on milk. I want more almonds. I don't want any other ingredients. Just keep it as clean as possible and I want it fortified Rydin calcium. So what does this formulation look hike. And so we started dabbling. We created six or seven different variations. We tried Different different ratios tend to stand the sensory taste and Sort of the nutritional profile eventually to a formula that absolutely was spot on incredible and That's how our was made so wasn't so much experimenting in the kitchen. That's interesting a lot of people almond milk oftentimes to start soaking bear arms and making harm which which is like an an exponential compounding of the waste associated with like with with almonds. They're not only do. They require massive amounts of water to make you then soaking it in water and then chocking out what is left of the almonds which I find really interesting about your purchase. You make a taste of almond so using the whole thing we crush them down to the point where they become liquid and that's the biggest difference is actually at the people that drink almond milk and actually nor how it's made often they think we just throw almonds in water blended and Here's the magic saved out almond milk product but what ends up happening is essentially activated almond milk. Count the water. They those almonds in so when you read a ten percent activated waited almond milk. You're not actually drinking a hundred grams or ten percent almond content your drinking closer to two or three percent almond base product consumers. Don't know that because both the water is counted as part of that percentage and the pope that gets disposed of is so environmentally environmentally unfriendly. But yet can see ms think they are drinking something. That's sustainable and something that really you know nutritious You have a serious mocking opportunity. There like I concede already from a video campaign perspective. You could do a wild old campaign that really like triggers people's imagination as to what actually happens with because like I said I watch videos and videos loss on on of how America's made Kennel get much he's wasted and so inefficient and that's the scary thing but I have for the lost. Three is being trying to figure out how we actually communicate that to consumers because it takes a little bit of time and right now our attention spans ends even on instagram and less than fifteen seconds How to communicate such an intricate and detailed message is one of our biggest challenges right? Yeah it's going to be super over I can see already at sort of like You wouldn't you do it like a campaign similar to do like Bush. DVD's and you wouldn't steal a handbag limit that and it still remains in people's memories. You do something like that where it's a real comparison of the two side by side. You can do the lesson ten seconds easy might have to to get your consulting on this one hundred percents. I can see it already and I can see it on one of those things where it is just not northern signed by people like the market is getting bigger and bigger H. Yeah as more people move to almond milk. Absolutely I mean I know there's art milk's now favor would drink. Milk said Cathy. I am not So you've come up with this mixture you've got it now. You're you thinking you working on these two months. You want to launch the brand. How do you come up with the name because the name selection is really smart because it has immediate connotations to almonds but I think the smartest move you make made was deciding to go down the route of of Barista's because that was like as an example how I found it and also an easier procuring area than say supermarkets soon supermarkets? You're waiting on a big haunch or decision mica whereas in cafes. They're all decentralized many different people that can make in. Yeah yeah she'll I'll give it a go for well. I loved cafes to begin with Sir in Europe anywhere where I was travelling. I would always find the best cafe cooled or roaster and just connect with the people and so had this love of cafes and I was sort opportunity. Well if there's almond milk someone's Scott Create a beautiful premium quality almond milk from the cafe market to us so that was always our number one position we never wanted to focus on retail but just the cafes and making an almond milk that was really high quality that would walk while and coffee so that was our original proposition but the biggest challenge friendly enough walls when we actually load became first Melbourne international coffee. Expo Our price point was one of the now major competitor that had literally launched a product that very same day that we had lunch and we big-budget etes crews on the ground in every state and all of a sudden. We're at war in this ridiculous situation Melva where it was like how. How much free stock could you give to cafes and So actually we realized that retail wasn't fact an opportunity for us that competition and couldn't access and so we almost pivoted and Well we did pivot actually and ended up focusing more on retail cafes. We still serve as cafes as you but rita has become a primary focus for us. I'm not everything from health. Food Stores Independent grosses. IGA's and over the last three years we've built our tie business off as incredible independent and supporters of the name. Alamo so yes going back to elmer really simple originally. It was going to be called Matilda's milk because being very Australian. I thought what's a really beautiful beautiful innocent lovely Mutual name that really can convey the message of being clean and nourishing and for some reason. The name Matilda a little bit. Just Matilda's milk tuna nor but maybe idead when I was younger as some imaginary friend or I don't know I think Matilda Children's toys being this beautiful name but elbow I watched that amazing Australian comedian Tell me and he did this little skit on youtube where he would shorten all the Australian words so when we say breakfast we say Becky Ambulance amber a service station server. And I think I've watched it at the time. Like Almond and I looked up the word elmo in Lassen it actually meant nauseating and sacred so I thought well what a brilliant name and even the Feminine Alma Means Nurturing Malo else so the fact that milk nourishing sacred those something really special about the name to take it a step further. The real the reason why I thought this is actually going to work. Stems back from Greek Alpha and Omega a at my initials in the Middle Elmer Alpha Omega because beginning and end as I decided I'm GonNa take that we have to run with this product. That's so good now it is. It is a really easy nine. The rolls off the tongue. I think it works really well when I say it sometimes depending on your accent. I've I've got this weird mush of Europe languages. Everything so when I say it sometimes. It sounds like tickle may elder they get into trouble from for these. Because I've got I've been told that there is a distinct accent in Victoria. Where if you say salary Valerien celery? Sorry sorry so salary salary and you eat celery. I K- accents. That sound very similar of the the name for it is. But there's words that Ellen Ellen Ellen. Yeah it's really hard for me to say Ellen the Gills Damon Allen The guy's nice name and make them sound different in conversation. Yes yeah I just found find that like it rolls off the tongue a lot easier our Alma Alma. Yeah whatever whatever he's like how did you come up with the packages on so i. It was really scared knowing that I was putting a lot of money into producing an almond milk. Having very little budget I sort of designed the product myself being an absolute minimus minimalist harsh..

"Sign up for Disney plus now and start streaming all this great content today now. Let's talk about Dakota Johnson. Please don't that is Thomas. I'm just going to start by saying I Adore Dakota Johnson. We all do just love her. We also like sweet and sometimes awkward in the chair and also like fun and in her own been awkward and in their own saying every time time she's been here and in her own like timid way also completely unafraid of Eleanor. Thinks she thinks she is. She's one of my favorite people self aware of how how she's presenting herself and how she's coming across and she does it in her own timetable in her own way and everyone else be damned and because it's so interesting ellen. Loves it so she comes on the show there they totally fry friends. They like each other on camera their friends off camera. She comes on the show she tape send interview she it airs yet. We do our normal business. We go off happening which we do during you. Oh you should know that during shows. Were all wearing headsets. And Kevin Maryland doesn't add an I. R. Deciding sometimes we can edit that out or that felt weird or just because we know we're going to be a few minutes heavy right so we picked as it's happening not one person you should just know thought. Oh this this is weird. This is awkward. We were like Oh my God. This is Ellen and Dakota's Schiffer's Larry. This is the way of and by the way it's a dynamic we've done with tens of other guests right Ellen Ellen Ellen goes so how is your birthday oh great I had a party Ellen invariably says oh thanks for the invite but the big point is we thought it was business. Nothing didn't never thought there is. There's nothing what happens this weekend. Somehow they make it into to like the most click Beta -able news story to come across our Google alerts in months we all have ellen. Degeneres shockingly awkward interview with it to Coda so then I'm hearing from friends to going to Code and Ellen W. T. F. and I'm Mike what what are you what are you talking. Everyone was away on their Thanksgiving break. It was over Thanksgiving giving away and Thanksgiving and I think it was just one of those things that over Thanksgiving people. Well also the clip that we clip that we the caption the clip. That we posted was Dakota's Johnson's favorite comedian. Isn't Ellen I. I wouldn't say that helped. No we might have been joke like it's easy. Thought serious serious and also that like we take art show if Ellen thought it was GONNA Make Dakota look bad or weird or awkward in any way or herself she would say maybe we lose that area right well it was so but but not waylon loved it. I loved it comedic awkward so so Dakota came on to talk about her birthday party and say that her favorite favorite comedian performed her birthday party in that favorite comedian was Taro. Well Ellen's favorite comedian is taken Itar Right. Pignataro Tara performed at Ellen's birthday party. And and then Ellen often doesn't go to social things because she's up in Montecito or up in where wherever ever and it's like. Oh my God the way that blew up as a story and I was like I don't I don't even know what the response is like. There's nothing to say like simpler. People are missing it but it just kept getting bigger and bigger and now google alerts. Kevin Are Ellen. Degeneres Dakota interview has gone viral. Like now it's about. How Big Story? Oh Oh my God. "Texting Gallup yesterday actually there's a lot of guys I keep in touch with talk soon probably every every few weeks or every other week so I mean I Platt played seven years of these guys so there's a lot of bonds that you you kind of build over the course of battle in the trenches with guys so you know naturally when you when you've gone through like football war with you're gonna kinda have that bond in and still talk to those guys there's nothing you can really do to take that away Cole Beasley does he sound a lot like Sean McDermott I didn't think so no no I didn't if that didn't strike me that way I want to know we're Beasley's from now Corpus Christi Texas McDermott is from Omaha I'm the sound the sound a lot alike to me Beasley is from Houston I went yeah that's the same state last I checked blue Dermot Omaha I thought like why not like high school wrestling was Pennsylvania Graham but the yeah I know it was born he's born in Omaha Nebraska I've been there been there in Omaha Omaha no did not did not get there during my Midwest's didn't last this motor right I did not get past Iowa get the overall I've driven from Omaha to Carroll Iowa thank god our bosses wife no Carroll Iowa yeah I like it what what is I mean they had a bar yeah right I don't know they had roads you know I mean whatever like in the hotel it whatever why would I like it what what effect it well would have to have happened you have not like that if they they had awful smell maybe you could head off will smell be like all I hate this place what would have to happen let's go to Judy next hello Judy hi right sorry how are you fine thank you I've been a bills fan since nineteen sixty three okay I want to tell you a story about what happened at my cousin's wedding in the wedding I was in the wedding and of course we had to attend because of big family affair and with the date of the bill Sandiego American League championship game and I was in the wedding party downstairs my husband was up in the balcony of the church listening to the transistor radio in the game mmhm Anne had everybody hurts listing the game during the wedding ceremony that's great a wedding is different than a week here you know I had a wedding there there the World Series started it the night of my wedding right and Bulldogs a red Sox fan and other friends I had there were red Sox fans Judy and they wanted to look like that was kind of a given that they were gonna want to follow the game and watch the game downstairs so that worked out but a radio in those days yeah all the transistor all right and the branch Littles won those games don't know your piece there yet no it's just not going to be subtle about that I we would have ever won would you have gone to the championship game it that was played between those teams in buffalo you know that's a real good question I have a feeling the girl would have had the wedding on another day yeah that was the year they played here right sixty four out cool what do you think Thursday what your plans are for this game Thursday well it's a real toss up because Jenner's plan for four thirty would you believe that yeah and I'm sure we'll have this I'm sure we'll have the TV on during the day during our dinner anyway everybody's a bills fan yeah I think it'll be different this year thanksgiving your house I don't think so I just hope is different for the bills this year there it is true fan very good thank Judy absolutely you're welcome okay bye right one of the reasons I think you wouldn't want to be eating while trying to watch the game like it in a large group like a I have it on and people are some people who see the TV all those are craning their necks trying to get and you know that's not that's not a seen anybody wants that to me either one or the other there you go in the room with your plate allow that or or do or don't but if you're if you're not in the room with the TV is I don't know what you should not be trying to watch it while not in the room I think that's really challenging and then if it doesn't go well then everyone complaining about the bills at thanksgiving dinner and I wouldn't want any part of that I would not want to help the wonder why I'm breaking out in like thanksgiving dinner table it usually does anyway though doesn't it even if it's like Dallas on the Chargers ritual he see I suppose that's right so it's our house is one o'clock and I'm leaving at four I guess to come here and you know it's thanksgiving and there will be wine and I don't know if my wife is planning on having like her parents and everybody over through the game I know by kids will not care about the game the only well not the only reason I I don't even know if she if my wife cares she hates the cowboys it's the only sports team I think that she likes dislikes she went to college in Texas that was during the super bowls and like she dislikes the Dallas Cowboys she's like yesterday's like how hard why was it hard for you to name cowboys that you hate we were listening to that in the car how come I was that hard for you like no Michael Irvin I are friends you know I I say that to be did to joke with her like that know what this do that so I don't know what will happen there are million law is going to be there from noon until nine are they gonna wait for me to get back good lord we're on until probably like nine nine nine thirty nine thirty at four thirty SO three hours to do you know yet so seven thirty I thought it had been shorter tomorrow maybe not yeah I either way you look good I'm not expecting I mean we have had people at the house that late on thanksgiving even my parents but usually that's because I'm there and I have dragged my dad upstairs to listen to Benny Goodman records or something and so my mom has to sort dutifully stay downstairs and just do it you know whatever where she's welcome to join us just usually doesn't and so you know we'll go later than than that but without me there to make that happen I can't imagine anyone to my house when I get home other than my family I would I would assume they're all gonna be gone but I don't know I got to find that one out no that's a long haul yeah that's a long day by father in law is very interested in the game so you don't want to watch it I get I think you'll still be at our house you know like it'll just some sort of be the afternoon yeah unless they have some other plan I don't know eight oh three oh five fifty is the number Erin shots at for the bills he has D. V. O. way at football outsiders and he made up he he made they made they give buffalo big jump after the Denver game like the Denver game the one up building up like ten spots they've been low and like a lot of analytics sites probably the bills of not like earned a lot of respect for their record because of the schedule they played in the quarterbacks and we'll get all that from Erin because the Denver game maybe it's a little weird that this happened but Denver like they did shot them up that chart its upper play kind of a metric to so do we trust the bills here like everybody is up for this it's a bit stands out to say the least it stands out as a bills game that means a lot after many years of games just sort of being the the games this is like there's a steak it's the cowboys it's real do we trust them to go there and at least make a game of it right at least yeah worst anything worse than that is bad so you we want them to to make a game of it if not when I I I would say put put that way you like trust them to win the game I mean I don't know trust them to be in the game and not be like oh well look the bill finally played someone half decent and they're losing by twenty I trust them to avoid that I I think they're they're well coached in well prepared and I I would trust that they'll yeah that that that that it'll be it'll be a game I don't know that they'll win it but I'm not expecting them to turn into like some sort of football follies or something in this game because it's Dallas and it's thanksgiving and it's you know of all the eyeballs are on it and everything I I I I wouldn't I'm not anticipating them being prone to miss stepping because of that like if that's extra pressure or whatever I I I think that there are capable of handling that even though it's not a common spot for a lot of these guys you know like this is pretty new it's new for all of us so woods it's new to them like you know these players at least on the bills as members of this team but yeah I I I feel like I I trust them I'm not I'm not bracing for to be terrible or something by any means but we don't win I don't know you know that's I almost any game they played this year against weaker teams in Dallas yeah I don't know they could win they could lose I'm not expecting them to show up and be clown shoes or something okay here's Alan next island a good afternoon first of all I am older than your father out there and I don't play Benny Goodman the record but I want to tell you you don't play Benny Goodman records absolutely not come on how old are you what what's what's the problem with any government records you mentioned that you mentioned that I know what what is your view but you you seem to be sort of a somewhat critical of that idea is an idea and I'm just curious as to why are very upset are you referring to your right that is the guy that lets the Benny Goodman he does apparently why are you upset that I I have I have old old old records that my dad grew up listening to him when he comes to my house he can go up in the attic with me and we can listen to records he listened to as a teenager that's kind of cool for me I've got a grip I looked on the Benny Goodman when I was five years old but I want to argue about Dallas okay I will let you okay Dallas has won six game wanna get Philadelphia who gave him for turnovers and the other against Miami New York Giants twice Washington Redskins and be destroyed client and all your talk about is the is the ease the myth of the Buffalo Bills schedule moreover statistics of a quarterback service saying he come each have a quarterback rating of about sixty six our running back archer running backs have the quote what rushing yardage up there right Ellen Ellen Ellen we do this for a living okay excuse me what what's the point is the point that the bills are as good as Dallas and should be considered as such or better okay well why are they a seven point underdog now because W. G. R. set the line they look very why are they a seven one underdog there eight three against us read all year Dallas tell me why that is Dallas the Buffalo Bills are eighty three but that's a different question that's a different question when the when the doctor fan question that the questioner glass makers not appreciating the belt well okay they're they're not in the business of appreciating or not appreciating teams are setting the line that they think for the most part the people will be split on and the line is seven so I just think maybe that's your answer but maybe you don't want to be your answer if if you think the bills are better than Dallas you know great maybe right they're better I think they're as good as okay well that's also not reflected in the in the line what we learned about the death certificate before you come I know about the statistics I don't think you do okay well thank thanks thanks Alan great yeah thank you for calling every thanksgiving maybe I don't maybe we don't they were just don't know anything the Benny Goodman thing was really weird nothing good is going to come with like talk more about this I I I don't I thought what the what what what was that let's get Judy back on I just don't I yeah hello it's like you may indeed him yeah yeah I don't know your dentist ninety eight eighty seven okay that's by offended him now making it worse I don't know okay it was odd yeah well look here Hey guys who are on the radio every day here are seventy things then we just interrupt him which is probably rooting go okay well that's all baked into the line why is the line this way the his answer should be because those people are stupid or something like that should be his answer I guess not about also so it can't be his answer.

"There was one part of the interview that I have received a lot of questions about and I think as a podcast exclusive. We should cleared right so there isn't a there's a moment there's a moment where Sean Hayes is in the interview chair. Brad Pitt is in the audience and if I'm not sure if we showed listen to clip or not but I just play this clip separately so we need to get Brad Pitt into the interview chair and so this is the idea that we came up with Sean and Brad switching places take a listen to this. I just feel like I want you should really take advantage. That Brad Pitt the show in eight years and I've been on the show eight times this week but I'm being so selfish. I'm this close and look into your beautiful Blue Eyes. I I think Brad is all the way up there. He should be this close to this much beauty so I shock Carl Hayes and going to give up my seat next world's richest lesbian to the guy from two episodes of growing pains. Please Brad Pitt so now we have Brad Pitt where we want him in the guest chair and Kev what happens next will they start talking about people breath have dated in the past how they know each other how they met have they've met. Yes thank you yeah and it comes up. He was at a party with an an ex girlfriend at the party that Melissa Ethridge through Melissa ethridge seemed to have been the common thread between Ellen and Brad Pitt. Yes Ellen says that she dink's she dated one of Brad's ex girlfriends yes so they have that in common. Take a listen back with Brad Pitt Superfan superfan superfan and the late eighties yeah yeah we we met. Do you remember where we met. "Air. Michelle sasha just talking about janet jackson hair yoga. I'm wearing free. Y'all you know years ago. When i was working working with producers they would say their friends was asked him to s- rupaul come to the studio in drag. I'd be like what the fuck john. What are you crazy. You know this is a job for remain nineteen. People will still say well the the crazy thing about it up and drag the crazy thing about it is i mean track right now. As we are doing this bug you actually aren't drag right now and i was talking about your janet jackson hair yeah and i was about to say her hair has been looking so good of that hair. I'm i'm wearing the same color hair that she's been doing in concentrating light red light red yeah. Is it a copper if comma blonde right but it's so gorgeous on her this hairdresser that she's got because preston be doing her makeup. She's new hairdresser. She's i don't know if she's new. I don't know she could been with her for a long time because it was used to be that woman who was with everyone for years not lyndale lenore lenore lenore sound or look right now because they're not the art when they they they make they wanna make it right so they just get louder lenore lenore lenore. I'm making a right. That's who was with whitney. Houston was the color hair that little redder than you. I'm thinking of the woman who has with whitney houston who is in that documentary whitney <unk> who who had some screen time in there do whitney's here. I got them all mixed up well. There was the one in new york that everybody went to not kim. Kim kimble is stuck. Stuck in my mind was beyond saying ellen ellen ellen levay ellen ellen ellen the ellen yeah that's thinking of she lavar no y- are lavar area. Everybody hairs here. Everybody's hair now. Have you noticed how <hes> how sort of prickly our producers gotten since he stopped smoking weed. He's gotten so so prickly. He knows it though he knows he knows it. He knows how quickly he'd been trying to act like me. Her new hair girls called cassidy blaine. Who is that a real name drag name now. It's girl cast. The oklahoma was nobody's born. She has nobody is born. Cassidy bland name cassidy blaine. Oh come on but a real name is cassidy horowitz it shift so talented and she does such a good job bullying blaine. She's janet's girl now but anyway john hair's been looking bomb so we've been talking about quitting witting. What no he's quitting. We'd he's quit. Wheaties hasn't smoked. It was the last time you spoke to joint orally three weeks three weeks ago yeah 'cause he uh he's strolled up near the other day and gave me the dirtiest looks all day long a medicine ball. I'm serious because i said something snarky to him as usual and usually he just takes and it's like oh you so crazy now. This bitch is like surly stone cold sober. He just like surly yeah. I wish i could see the face. It's crazy. It's crazy a hedgehog that one of the characters on the <hes> pl- play the game sonic the hedgehog yeah you look i saw yeah but now he's just not. He's not having no he's having having now. He'll usually apologizes after he does. He does texts later so sorry sorry getting sober suck. Ooh it is hard. We know that alex yeah. You're a moody motherfucking now. Certainly is my god jesus. That's how many times have i keep your car ten. I don't know fourteen seventeen. I'm surprised paint on. It said it's got you know them racing stripes they used to put on the recent pinstripe hence stripes called pins pinstripes worth thing. They were a big thing. There are fucking sticker. Well no use could do it by hand. Some some people do it by hand well we when we i forgot what car had him. I wanna say it was the congress. A cutlass nicholas sabre they had paid extra for the racing stripe australia and the racing stripe was a sticker yeah. No it was there you know. I used to drive a ford granada. You don't see those on the road. Thank god well as a lot the cars you don't see on the road and <hes> but a lot there are certain cars that you still see like there's it's an old ooh owes mabille buick. They're so similar company same company g._m. Motors asked the most people can't but the thing is that g._m. Had all these subsidaries and they would make the exact same car for two different countries is changing a little detail on the life shit later. I don't know because i feel like oldsmobile and buick had the same demographic traffic they do like once a different demographic like a cadillac and a f- fucking cy on right but you know they used to have owes mobile buick and pontiac pontiac went out of business fiero all g._m. Cars but they had three cars that were the exact same cars for each company but had a different name like the way that ford and ford mercury had the same because the ford <hes> <hes>. Let's see the ford. I'm trying to think of the names has been many many years talking about the old school cars like seventies yeah like the the mustang they had the mercury version of a mustang was called a version of a must have they had a version of everything they had doubles just different companies. He's aka the same come right anyway. <hes> i'm going on. They all like i say there are certain there's a there's a certain oldsmobile will that still on the road today. It's a ninety three oldsmobile <hes> what they didn't remake no they didn't remain. They'll still in business. I don't think so. I don't think so because obviously g._m. Is in cadillacs and no i think oldsmobile pontiac is the one that went out of business. Pontiac is what really yeah but i'm only saying this because if you look on the street today there are very few old cars from thirty years ago that are still running right and the ones that are still so running usually tend to be the same ones he can. You hear my earrings clicking in this now yes. I'm in full drag. We'll get back to that in a minute but i'm wearing a full <hes> <hes>. Is this a snuggie onesie because it's so cold in the studio here. It's free. It's freezing if you don't know if this is your first time listening to podcasts we are suiting a television show as we are doing this podcast just so you know f i that is the reason i'm in drag him when we can get it and we stick it in when we can get it in. I don't normally get into dragged. Somebody's paying my as i so if you think i'm going up into the studio and dry because i feel like i'm some kind of a lady or some. I'm some kind of a something but i am not show lady not joe lady <hes> <hes> <hes> no <hes> people ask me that all the time really should enjoy. You should lose those people sometimes. Sometimes they're interviewee. She said no. They don't understand that. Listen these girls that are doing the show. They're doing the hard yards now. You've done the doing the show grace so. You've showed up at many many in eventing. Oh yes i have many o- and regretted every single one of them on the radio station. When we were doing morning radio that was ninety six and ninety seven an event that you went to you would come into job would come into dry with the debt night. I met share at the <hes>. What was what was the event but that was three divas. No it wasn't that it was when i gave her that. Check for a million dollars. So what gave not your what. What did you hear. It wasn't a million dollars. Maybe a hundred thousand okay all right. Maybe it was a night that i met kevin e was met kev. I don't think he i i don't can i tell you my kevin story. Capital gone yeah of course it was good friends with share and did her makeup makeup that night. Are you sure on jumps up when i wore that bob macky motorcycle with the miniskirt and we gave her that big check there's pictures of it and there is there's. I was backstage doing the interviewing okay you. You weren't because you were on the stage so i met kevin and i was probably as excited to meet kevin as i was shared. No i swear because i knew i wasn't going to get much facetime with sharon. I got a hello and that was enough but the fact that i got to me kevin and kevin stopped and he looked at me said you know she was very sweet nice to meet you said but what where did she get the eyeliner and kevin's as gave me a got my so i was like it's urban decay and what it was was they they had a glitter pencil that they came out with before anybody else's putting on there is even queens borough it was not an i said oh it's urban decay and they cut they have they have all these these different <hes> no not retake. It was hard candy. Remember hard game are safe still in business they were bought out by a bigger company and then they were only sold and i think they're only sold now in walmart's okay so you know there was money involved. Walmart walmart's yeah so. I said it's hard candy because it started out. The girl had started hard. Candy started inner garage with nail polish. Isn't that the story for everybody. Bottling polish like a bright blue nail polish hear these stories make oh. She started in her bay. It was a base five dollars to her. I don't know if she did but she sold it and made a lot more than five dollars but i told him and he's like oh he goes. Oh my god i'm going to by every single color and he did and they came and all those different colors as hard candy glitter pencils well for people who don't know kevin kwan is really heralded as one of the it most famous makeup artists in the history of high fashion of all time and <hes> you know there are several documentaries on his life on. I think on netflix right now is to influence <hes> very good. It's really interesting story <hes> but his technique of for applying makeup was incredible in fact i worked with him <unk> only once with <hes> and it was distinct for interview magazine nine hundred ninety three and i had come from a gig or something and they wanted me to do this this thing so is it and drag it. It was in drag. I arrived in drag so he sort of sort of so. He's touched me all about it was it wasn't very good. It was it because as you didn't let them build it from the base exact and you had given them your face from the foundation up i know i know i would have paid to say that but you know i did have sam tom. Find it in my face. I'm fine is is on on the same level so was billy bean now. He you know what i what i call. It is transformational national makeup. <hes> there's makeup artists and then there's transformational makeup where you look in the mirror and yes she. We still know what you you look like hallways they. They've nudge the proportions of your face to look even more photograph -able more of what you are and that is that is transformational makeup. The first time billy did my makeup did my make up. I'll never forget it because i was in seduction and he was doing it. Dallas brought him on she was friends with him because she had dabbled in modeling here and there she was in the group with me. She bought on and said he's the one we need. <hes> he did my face and i was going to perform that night in camden new jersey the carjacking capital all of the world ooh and my mother was meeting. My mother and my father were meeting down. There and i walked into my mother own my god. Oh my god i have never seen you look this is beautiful and then she said by the way somebody jackdaw by the way when walking she literally couldn't believe it but it was one of those nights where i didn't want to take my makeup oh wow <music> because i never said you were photographed and everything i never seen myself. Look beautiful in my life and i was like this is what i want to learn to do so like nicole who doesn't make him now. She's another transfer. Oh my god she's a genius and ravens another transformation yes but like when i i don't know if you do the same thing. When i get my makeup artist idea one eye open and one eye closed like a oh she'll work on this. I'll be watching and i learned everything that way because i watched what they do. She hates it. She's like closed. The doll is closed. It freaks her out. No i don't do both is because <hes> yeah so you mentioned all these transformational makeup artist by the way they're all also carjackers yeah. We all went to camden yeah. Have you ever stolen a car. We've talked about what what first of all you knew how to hot wire. You know. I didn't know how hot wire i still some keys is what oh i thought you knew how to hot wire. I am hotwired means. You're no nipples are sensitive..

"Everything that we were doing to celebrate that she was still alive. Yeah. Here's my theory. On birthdays, you ready for it dollar you want it. Sure, I'm ready. The only way birthdays. Could celebrate it in any sort of a workplace you bring your own celebration. You wanna cake bring the cake, you want streamers bring the streamers you bring your stuff that you know, what that does that sucks. The drama that I can already see developing with Ryan perpetrate now with his arms folded on a table. My birthday is I know when your birthdays are as wieners. We gotta get them outta here to say, Donna. You're fired. What do think about that idea though, you have to bring you bring in your cupcakes? You bring in your cake. Yeah. That's what you did. When you were in grade school, right? Your mom would bake cupcakes. Maybe not for you guys. 'cause you're really young people don't do that anymore. But. And then you would share it with the class. Yeah. That's one you man. That's on you. So Ryan tell us what what what weird principled stand. What this is rooted in that you won't tell us the date of your birth. I've told you to several times this is how are you? Last year. Yeah. So we didn't feel responsibility right to recognize your birthday. And now, maybe we would like to do something special. You'll be gone doesn't matter and you'll be half in the bag or something. So it doesn't matter. Steve, I don't know what your sign is. November twenty kaffir corn. No, I don't know the Scorpio. Now, I have to know, and I can't find it anywhere. What do you think of these sites? Fun terriers Sacha terriers. What does it? What is? What did what did they say? That means for me. This is like horoscope stuff. Right. Isn't that is exactly right? Cheeky and fun and keep trying to ensure and hair of mystery around, you know, when it's time to work than it is time to work. But when it's time to party all not sure that you will remember it for a few weeks few years. At least you are a natural. Head identifying opportunities and often use your intuition to get where you want. That's it. Sagittarius fun. It's just fine. I'll tell you this as I try to find Ryan's birthday on the internet face. I'll tell you what comes up here. How about? Ryan. Or at high school. Football. Oh, yeah. Yeah. They got him as a football player here. I got one tackle in my sophomore year mound. Five nine one sixty is what you clocked in at. That was your playing days you were finished eleven and one that was a good year. We went to state and then on Northfield beat us in semi's. Heartbreak. We're undefeated. Yeah. That one loss was in the semi's. We're almost made it while staying. Played football game against Totino's grace. Yeah. Yeah. That was tough tough one. I spent most of my days on the sidelines. But that's okay. Fraternal experience share? Good for. All right. What show? Did you watch thing? Now, you guys are gonna make fun of it. Yes. We are. What was it? Game of games yet lame. Oh. Ellen Ellen Ellen. Now, I love Ellen boys. You're tearing it down. I just think it's throwaway television. I think that that's there could be some quality programming in place of that. Now that being said you like shows like the match game, right? Yes. So you're picking and choosing. Which you like game shows, you're not throwing out the whole genre. I don't mind her show. I just don't think it's necessary to put it in primetime. That's it. Same with match game family. Feud is exactly where it should be right before. Real TV starts. Well, a pallet cleanser from the news. Have you seen game of games? Yes. Ryan have you ever seen it? Yeah. It makes me angry. Oh. It's always not anger was not the feeling. I watched it with two of my kids last night, the third asleep and everybody liked it. And it was fine. It's over the top. It's very highly visual, you know, Ellen think of the challenges that Ellen does on her show. She wants you in a sumo suit. She wants you slipping down. It's it's kind of mean like no not in the lightest. These people then she's laughing at them as they're like scrambling to cantor flag before the other guy gets to it. The only human alive that would say Ellen Degeneres is game show is mean-spirited. It is like a grownup version of double dare is what it reminds me of your slip in. It's just like all these weird physical challenges. Everybody ends up messy. Somebody's wearing a nice outfit. They got a shot to win one hundred grand. Mean? All right, sorry. I blew up guys. I don't know what happened there. I don't know. It's it's the sinuses talking. I'm so sorry. What's her horoscope for today since we're into this astrological at a nominal logical? Virgin, thank you very much. I gotta tell you about a show that I wanna watch. It's out today. It's on Hulu it looks so stinking good. And I want Ryan to play the trailer. And the songs and the song the show is called the act with Patricia Arquette. This is the story of DeeDee and gypsy rose Blanchard tea room into those names ring a bell ring. Any bells play made national headlines because they were on Hurricane Katrina survivors who ended up moving to Missouri. And it's the woman the mother has that. Munchausen by proxy. So she's basically trying to say that her daughter has all these ailments, and they ended up taking advantage of charitable donations. And things like that. But it looks so good. The mother ends up getting killed. Yikes. Split. I hope not. But you said it in the act and the act is the act of murder. So it's just about that story. I mean, you could find it anywhere a new story, and it just looks so freaking good, and it's going to be like a series for a few days. So Hulu is then she love the differences between the shows that I'm talking. But meanwhile,.

"You a chance if you don't feel comfortable talking, then you can at least get the message out, and we do have questions to get to that have been emailed, and that have been, you know, text in, but we're going to go to the phone lines right now and Mike you're on Katie Kenya. Radio. Dr condie. And I'm sorry. I can't think of your guest Ellen Ellen. Ellen. Okay. Well, good. I'm enjoying the show with buzzer. Your thank you so much. Right. On your last caller who talked about the trauma of a marriage that maybe should have ended in an amicable divorce, or what have you I'm read? I just started reading the book the boy crisis. Okay. Wonderful book. I'm just first few chapters. But there was a time when folks stay together because of the stigma associated with divorce, right, right? Then peep women. Head more freedoms. They were you know, you had birth control a lot of different reasons. Okay. But I think the most important thing to do if they're visit divorce is too. Established guidelines. So that the kids can see mom and dad at their best. Yeah. This is important. It's important to have the children be involved and still be connected. And know that they don't have to be a part of the anger that gets all caught up in Ryan in the parents is that it's probably easier said than done, but I just wanted to add my two cents in there. No it's worth. It's worth the effort. Do you have any questions in regard to how I could be helpful for you in your life right now? You know? It's funny. I just. I just received some what you might call terrible terrible information on a medical basis. Oh my goodness. I'm so sorry to hear that. But it's okay to sixty seven years old. I've never felt better in all my life. Okay. I have decided that what I'm going to face. I'm gonna face it in the best possible manner. Expecting the best possible outcome. If something goes wrong, I'll still deal with it. Wow. I have a wonderful wife. I've been married to for almost forty eight years. Congratulations. That's awesome. I know it's. That that that's that that that could be broken down into about four or five marriages. But anyway. No, listen, I'm sorry to hear what you're going through. But I actually really grateful that you share that perspective because there are a lot of our listeners out there who going through difficult times, and and get that type of news that can be, you know, this is really very challenging health news. But I think you're actually really I really believe you're right. Like at the end of the day, if you're gonna face whatever time is like, whatever problem, you're facing. You can either face with a negative attitude and be upset about it, which only has negative health effects or you can face it with this positive attitude of let me let me really try not be naive, but lemme be positive about and hopeful. And I think that's excellent. Yeah. And I will tell you this much. I actually feel that way. False front. My wife said you're not putting up a false front for me. Are you know, you'd read right through that? Absolutely. Oh, you know, she could see through that you've been together that long. Let me give you hit never marry a woman who's smarter than you. I'll tell you. I've already done that I've been married for eighteen years. And I know my wife could see through me in a second. One split second. But thank you so much for your call definitely show. Are you gonna have on next week? Stay tuned for that, buddy. I love it. Hey, thanks so much listened Ellen. I definitely wish you all the best in what you're trying to call every now. And then they'll let you go home. Thank you love it. I love it. Awesome. Well, that's that's fantastic. I mean, listen L that positive view kind of reminds me of you and your positively you've gone through injuries in track. And yet you maintain positively. How'd you do it? It actually it was kind of just a natural reaction. Kind of like he was saying, you know, it wasn't really. There was never really a time where I felt myself get angry or maybe a little frustrated, but I think that's normal in places, but I had a lot of support through this the whole thing, and I kind of found, you know, if your if your face was something usually whatever comes out of that situation. You're you're only going to grow from it. And I can already feel that I've learned so much and react to things even better that I would have before going through what I did. And learned a lot of patients. I don't think I've painted enough of a picture about who you are for our audience. I mean, he Ellen is just a phenomenal young person. She she is was outstanding track athlete at an elite level. So when you encountered the difficulties you encountered, this was no small thing. I mean, you're running track for big time division one school. And there had to be moments of disappointment of like, wow. I can't do what I've been doing all my life, right? It definitely there was a point where you know, I kind of feel things turning for my my season. Actually, I I felt like I was really coming in strong and could see where things can really start to go up running lies. And that's kind of almost where this injury hit. And when I started getting sick. So it was it was a little disheartening just because I knew where things could be. But it actually was my last time running to you know, I haven't run since and I'm working on getting back into shape and running and all that. But right now, it's it's just the process, and you know, you can't you can't be upset about. I learned a lot. And I had a great two years of running at a division one school. And so a lot of cool things and you had support family support friends, support teammates, support coaches support. Yep. But you also kind of looked for that too. Like, you were able to find that you were drawn to that. So so one of the things that I could see about you from the outside. Like, we did I did a lot of leadership camps. For university of Pittsburgh, where Ellen was in attendance. And one of the things that was amazing. I got to watch about you is how you lead with your peers. And how you lead, by example. So you would throw yourself into activities. You would throw yourself out there. And I just was I I admire that just from the first time we met. Thank you. You putting yourself out? There is it's risky to put ourselves out there for anything. And we I to talk about that with you because you are a cell very self motivated individual and you run into when you're self motivated is not easy to stay self motivated all the time. So what do you do to keep yourself motivated? So really when it comes down to self-motivation it. It's one of those things where you know, one day might use might feel a little better, you might wake up feeling with a lot of energy. And then there might be a day where you don't feel good at all. But each day, you have to take on the same thing that you do and keep that routine or you'll lose track of it. And. I think you can probably agree with me. You you get up every day. And you write something new. I don't know if you guys know this about him, but he has a new thought every single day, and he tweets it or he'll send it out. And I I don't know that I can even think of one thing a week what he comes up with. But it's it's impressive. And you and you've done that for several years now now. Yes. About five years where I've been in this routine. I wake up every morning, I meditate. And then I think about I imagine myself standing in front of the entire world. And I say, what would I say if I was standing in front of the entire world, and then I make a conscious statement, and I put it out on Twitter. And then they put that out also on Facebook and things like that. But every morning, it's definitely new to Twitter is where I do it in that routine. But you are you hit on the exact formula for true success? No matter what you feel like you still end up doing whatever you're going to work toward. And so that's why we're gonna keep talking about the so glad you're in studio for the whole time today, if you want to be a part of.

"The Riviera Boras star VERA star resort by the way, Sarah has the wireless microphone, and we're going to Deke del Monaco and humor Sanchez little later on. Stop by yesterday. We were talking to Tim Anderson and Darryl Boston. But you what is your name again? That's elaine. Ellen Ellen Ellen Grossberg from Glenwood friends of the Bertrand boy if I'm not mistaken, we're on a trip with him last month. Yeah. No kidding. Thanks for traveling with us, you bumped into some people from the Netherlands, right? Yes. What happened? They. Came here for eighteen days. They've been here for and they told us that they were all excited because they heard that facts on the beach was here a great name for thing. Yes. Man. That's awesome. A friend of theirs gave them a base bond said we'll take any signatory could get we love the socks. And so they were able to get a couple of signatures, and wait a minute. So these people in the Netherlands, yes or not just baseball fans, which is hot onto itself. But there big White Sox fans friends of theirs. And they said, oh my God you're going to that resort though. They know the socks are going to be there in the Netherlands. So they gave him a baseball. Abass? Thinking get she said not making any promises, we don't know. But we'll certainly try. So then they bumped into you. How do they know the next to them and they asked us where we're from? And we said we're with a big group, and she's the socks on the beach. They were excited. Couldn't believe that. There are one hundred fifteen PGN. Okay. I know we're I would say we're the biggest group here you, Sarah. I mean, let's say and then so did we get the deal done? Did we get the baseball autograph for them? It's Ron Kittle and Tim Anderson signed ball. Excellent. Nice. Nice. Oh, they should be. Well, man, that's a long shot. Isn't it? I'm in the Netherlands. But if you take this ball to the resort will find him. We'll and those guys are going to be nice enough. The will get him to sign it like when they signed up to do this here. Again, it's another one of those days just going, okay? At some point. These guys are millionaires. Their major league baseball players. They don't need to be playing wiffle ball with us. They were playing football with us and having a ball. So it's it's been a good time. Although as much as we've enjoyed that. I think the thing Sarah has been enjoying the most she's our colleague here with the microphone. It's the towels that they put on our beds. I do love the towels because every day are they doing? This room to every. After they make the bed or turn it down at night. They put a towel on your top of your bed. But each day it's done into a different shape. And you took the pictures of them, right? Yes. I have been and I'll tell you a story. So yesterday, I got into my room, and I'm very excited for the towel animal. I take a picture, but I took a picture of the backside. And then I realized that that the backside of the front side. So then I took a picture of the frontside and texted my husband, John and said, what is this? And what side is right. He thinks I'm dumb will the French side looks like a teddy bear. Yes. The backside looks like sex organs. Well, we're in Mexico. On the beach. So you were alarmed and amused by is I recall, what stays in Mexico. Mexico. You know, it was on an angle on my bed as I approached the bad. I was like. I saw that same. I had to say and bear on my thing. And I saw from both sides and what I saw from the back side. I didn't think I did not blush. You did. No, I didn't blush. I was just perplexed. Interesting thing for them to do what a talent. This also proves what an idiot. I am. I took a poll on my own Instagram story. And everyone said, yes, this is a bear your. Yeah. But on that poll, you your question was is this a bear? So you made it way too, easy, right? If you take a picture of the backside and said, do you say anything here now that would be an interesting survey? Maybe that'll be today's Paul. Yeah. No kidding. Well, here's how dumb I am. Because the people here are just so gracious, so nice, and everything is yes, I think if you went to the concierge in our little lodging area or any of the wait staff here, if you said, you know, could you give me a nuclear reactor. So yes, absolutely. We'll be right back with plutonium. Yes. We'll go. Get some plutonium. I ordered plutonium room service half hour later. I had some plutonium whatever you want to do. So I went down to the guy last night. And I said, I I'm sorry, but I don't have hot water and I haven't for a day and a half. Now, I said when I checked in I had hot water, but since then the tub in the shower are cool, it's not freezing. But it's not hot water. And could you guys make that happen thinking God, they got gotta replugged my room. I don't know. What's going to happen? And he bless his heart. Because he knows he's he's like you've got hot water, Jack. I know you've got hot water. He said did you turn the handle all the way over? Andy said it in a way where he's like trying desperately not to call me out. Right. Like, you are the Stu how did you get on an airplane? You are so stupid. And I said, yes, I did. I brought the handle all the way over. He said what happened when you turned it the other way? And I said, then it got really cold. But when I bring it all the way over here. It's just lukewarm. He said, we'll send the plumber up tomorrow just kind of shaking his head. But you know. Not a not a crossword or look from them. And then I go up there. And I think I do not want to be the American who doesn't know how to work a hot water handle in Mexico. So I'm gonna do it one more time guess who's got hot water this guy? So then have a moment of truth. Because now, you gotta call you need downstairs, and I go. Hey, listen Yemi. And the verb. Here is critical. I said I fixed it. I fixed the how the water we now have how water he says. Okay. Thank you, sir. He hangs up. And I know he knows that's probably not the first time. He's had a conversation. Like that with somebody. Who like, yeah. I'll bet if you just turn it all the way over jiggle it, but I got I got going now. So that's that's been our day. Here. Have you guys also noticed by the way that all of your media devices know, where you are like online at a department store two nights ago, and I was gonna try and do some online shopping. I thought I've got the week here, and it's getting close to Christmas and a couple of things I wanted to buy and so I clicked on the item I wanted to purchase. And then it said this store does not ship that item to this country. Thinks I'm in Mexico, and I didn't well, I am in Mexico. But it thinks I wanted ship to Mexico to and I'm like, dude, I'm ready to give you guys one hundred bucks. But. There was no way for me to tell this department store website that I wanted. You just said you cannot go any further we don't ship to that country at what step in the process to to say that though. Because usually when you add stuff to your cart when you're ready to purchase in that transaction, it'll say, what's your shipping address? Oh, yeah. Right. Well, I don't know how to work the hot water. So you wanna turn off your location, though, it's somewhere you allow Amazon or whomever to access your location. So if you turn that off they won't know where you are. So there's a button somewhere else. So I don't know if it's with the store with Amazon or whatever, but somewhere along the way, they said, you know, can we use your location your location? Well, someone at work here lives in Indiana because I bought a jacket and now it's at Macy's in Indiana. And I don't have how to pick it up. Oh, that's right. So they you mean they delivered to the local in Indiana delivered to you. Yeah. Do you speak Indiana. Maybe you. I guess I just shouldn't do online shopping at work. Well, my g mail page pops up. So I went to g mail today, and that pops up in Spanish too, and I said Bill, I need my g mail in English. But the button that says switch languages in Spanish, and I don't know. I don't know which button that is so thank God. Bill Murdoch never travel without a Bill Murdoch because Bill was able to tell us. Yes. Let's hear it for. Chief engineer here along with Sarah and producer Garris. We are sitting poolside right now in Chicago a big story. I guess is Rahm Emanuel who on the way out is saying, you know, I'm leaving. But you guys are to legalize marijuana and put a casino in Chicago because of the pension crisis. And I remember when we got legalized gambling Ila noy because I was living in Peoria, and the idea was that we would do riverboat gambling, and they had locations throughout the state. I don't know why we decided that they had to be on bodies of water because you're not cruising lakes rivers when you're on a riverboat when you're doing casinos. Maybe it was a way to keep it out of Chicago. Although we've got the Chicago river and Lake Michigan. But for some reason, we said towns with water can have casinos, and that's spread it out throughout the state. And that helped those towns Peoria loved it puree loves their riverboat casino. And it's good for that area wasn't doing well. And now, it's a very fun attractive place to go to. But the deal was that Chicago would get something for it. Like, they said to downstate you guys can have casinos and gambling and Chicago will get whatever it was they wanted and Chicago will never ask for a casino because if Chicago heads casinos Lord of the city was operating casinos. It would hurt the Indian casinos, and it would hurt Peoria people from say Joliet. Well, actually Joliet as Sinoe too. But people from downstate might stay in their towns or travel elsewhere. If they go to Chicago who would want to go to Chicago than it hurts them. So they said the deal is Chicago will never have casinos Chicago's going to get a casino. Don't you think? And I guess it's okay. I mean, although don't you get to feeling that? If Chicago had a casino who would get the contract who would be stealing from whom or scamming who would it be a friend of the mayor the governor. Would there be some sort of graft or corruption and do I remember this correctly? When we agreed that we would get a lottery in Illinois. It was that we would take the the revenue from the lottery, and we would put it to education in the schools. Right. So then do you? Remember what happened to that? Right. They took the money that they got from the lottery, and they gave it to the schools. But then they took the money they were given to the schools, and they gave it to something else. So the idea that we would get better education in Illinois was blown out of the water because we're still spending about the same money. So if the mayor's idea is the will get casinos and legalized pot at both of those are, you know, fraught with trouble. But maybe let's let's make a deal with that double. We're in trouble. Right. And we'll put that money towards the pension crises that we have. Okay. That's maybe that's what we gotta. Do it sucks. But we gotta do that. But what do you think you're probably going to do with the money that the right now committing to the pension debt? Right. Don't you think they'll take that? And go frittered away on some far flung thing. So I guess if I'm king. I would need to say you have to continue to put the same money towards the debt. And then whatever you get from the casinos and legalize marijuana which could be jillions of dollars. You got to put to the debt. It's a big number jillions. But maybe that's what you gotta do. I don't know. The news click today will be about this. We're asking you. If you like the mayor's idea, and you can go to wgnradiOcom on my Facebook page, and let us know how you feel about that on the news, click one twenty two this WGN. George.
