"If it was this amazing museum, but had all king Leopold's Belgian there with all of the the narrative that went with it in this kind of colonial language, it's been shut, and it actually opens in exactly a month time reopening to the public now kind of competing contemporary. It's showing what happened in the Belgian Congo's it was cooled then and will now not be called in this museum. And it really I think if people are interested in in that side of the subject will tell them a lot more. And of course, people can always go into Jim Rubens to get an insight into his character by reading his graphic novel for sure, yeah. Doma grit deficit glimpse into the spooky goings on his mom. So just to end to have another broad sweep at this play. I put you on the spot. I know and you say that one should save the money, but in terms of it being a theatrical experience, perhaps not for critic of your standing, I don't know about that. I mean, I think one of the things that critics need to aware of is that we don't generally pay for tickets were given as a courtesy press. Tickets just goes to the professional terrain, and I know a lot of people who've paid for their tickets for this who are quite angry. So I think it's it's almost doubly important for the critic to say, this is what it is at least to me. And of course, anyone has the right to agree or disagree. I was really interested by who is in the siesta. So quite often in this. That quite often. It's it's an older audience. Now this because it was off West End wasn't that? What's the demographic? And why would they there? Well, that's a really interesting question. I mean, one of the law shows I saw was the Ferryman which is a useful plates. Kind of this against just Butterworth his follow up to Jerusalem, which was like a smash hit directed by Mendez. You know, unbelievable stage set no expense, spared, two and a half hours of pure entertainment. And this is also kind of guy St. right? So they're all going to be people like me who have committed with mcdonagh's work from film three billboards made wro- waves when it came out. It was really fated after say nothing has quite much up to in Bruges for me since since he made that Sunday seven psychopaths, which was tedious. But so I think maybe the fact is that for lots of people this might be their only outing to the theater because has this factor of recognizable names this in a cool fits, and it's not just going to attract people. Everything. And that's why I'm saying don't go because there's other things to to see if you're only going to see one thing this season. I mean, the thing about mcdonagh's he he's always had in this just intensified after three billboards. He's got a kind of hipster vibe. And so yeah, I mean, there will be a lot of cool people at this who wouldn't have set foot probably near the Ellen Bennett play that was there earlier this season, which would have had a much older more typical demographic. And just a quick word before we go about the venue itself. Because of course, it it's a relatively new nNcholas Hytner is is the man who who set it up is it working the physical spaces exactly magnification of Dorfman at the national which continues to run the door for the smallest of the nationals through two terms. And this is the Dorfman times. I think three just in terms of size, but looks just like it. And I think it's a very attractive space in terms of the work. I have to say I think cutters running for year. It's been disappointing. Their biggest hit so far. It's been a one person place during Laura Linney and a terrific immersive, Julius Caesar. But a lot of the new writing has fallen short of the Mark and. I wonder whether they're not going to have to be a bit more muscular. But what they ask for from their writers. Did you enjoy the space? I love the Sposi. I really liked. I mean from purity of out perspective realize ball, I think is catered by some Jones, which is never about Lynn's. Go madeleine's cheese. Stroz smell them. And it was on the it was comfortable, and I had a great view..

"Today. Our guest is Ellen Bennett. We are talking to her from her factory. And we'll learn what she makes there right now, Ellen you get paid to do what I have an apron company, and we make amazing work where and aprons for some of the best chefs and makers in the world, and yes, I do get paid for that. Did you did you study a print in some way? What did you do before? This. I understand that you've had a pretty zigzag career to get you to. This apron factory point you're in your life, and aprons are. Yes. My my apron empire. I used to be a cook at a two Michelin star restaurant here in Los Angeles. And while I was working there. I realized that everyone had really horrible terrible uniforms, myself included, and nobody had dignity and pride in the kitchen. And I wanted to change that because I'm also an athlete, and when I first started running the first thing, I did was get an amazing outfit. And you know, you might think like, oh that's slightly vain. But really isn't. If you believe in what in what you're doing? If you believe you have the confidence to do something, you can really show up, and it changes your mental status on things. So I thought my God if I could do that to the culinary world like Jesus, I could change the whole culinary. I could just change it all like that. That would be a very big thing. So it it always had a greater purpose than just I'm gonna make a cool apron. Yeah. All of a sudden, all the maybe all the food gets that much more delicious. If people are where. Wearing excellent uniforms. No, you gotta think about it. Like if you're back. They're working twelve hour shifts working incredibly hard making ten dollars an hour. You don't look good. You don't feel good. Your uniform is like a giant bag tied around you with a crappy apron strap that's like a shoe string lace. You're not exactly like living your best life in there. So so if you can step that up like why not their artists in the kitchen and their sports team all at the same time. So let's make a uniform that makes them look and feel amazing. I always wondered it's like to me. It's no wonder that people who are attendance on airlines. There's certain airlines where I feel like they're really happy and Bray and their other where they seem like they really it's like no wonder that they seem like they wanna kill you soon as you got on the plane, and it was noticed. It's true the ones with the lame uniforms uniform based the whole I think that's why. Yeah. That uniform is like you're a part of a team you're part of a squad. And if your squad sucks, well, then that's like not good. So I'm curious though. I mean, a lot of people have an idea that like aprons or any other crazy idea they have. But they don't actually do anything about it. They don't start making it. They don't act on it. So when you had this moment, did you just dive right into it? How did you get to the point? Now where you have a real company. I am kind of a dive right into it kind of a lady. I I like to decide that I'm going to do something. And then I figure out the details later, which is. I'd say it's a blessing in a curse I would say. But I think a lot of people do get hung up in the you know, there's like this saying that I love it. Like doubt kills more dreams than failure ever did. And I think it's really true. Because a lot of people are so concerned about what might happen that they never even get going in the truth is behind every success story. There's a million failures that led up to that success story, and you have to experience in try stuff. And that's just in my case that is what I did. So as fate would have it a couple of weeks later. My chef said to me that there was some somebody that was going to make him aprons. And he asked me if I wanted to purchase one for myself in the kitchen, and I was just like holy crap. This is the moment, and it was the boat was sailing by in front of me, and I didn't know how to swim, but I was gonna leap into the ocean and figure it out, and I was just like chef I have apron company..
