Philadelphia Eagles sign linebacker Eric Wilson
"Eagles have made some news over the last couple of days that we should pass along. The birds have made a couple of free agent signings Over the last couple of days and will run those down for you here. You can tell. It's a totally new eagles regime by the way when they go out and prioritize adding a linebacker in free agency although the eljay fort fiasco tells us not to count our chickens before they're hatched. The eagles signed former vikings linebacker. Eric wilson to a one year deal this week worth up to three and a quarter million dollars. There is a connection to the eagles. Here with wilson a linebackers coach. Nick rally spent time as wilson's assistant position coach for the last three years in minnesota. So you know so much time when you're adding free agents who your trading for players. There's always some kind of coaching connection especially here with the eagles over the last few years and that continues to be the case. Now wilson turns just twenty years old in september so he's a younger player and became a full time starter for the vikings last year. How do you really solid season for them to record it. One hundred twenty two tackles eight passes defended three interceptions in one forced fumble clearly. He's the number one linebacker on the roster. Right now. he'll be atop the depth chart he'll be the guy starting at middle linebacker unless something totally unforeseen happens. And i'm still kind of trying to figure out how the eagles got their hands on them at this stage in the off season for it for as little as they did and considering the salary cap situation that they're in and we know that this is not a position. The eagles have prioritized a whole lot. In recent off seasons they did again. Like i mentioned a sign eljay for contract very early in the offseason. Two years ago when it seemed like their third free agent off the board and they gave him a lot of guaranteed money. And then jim schwartz never played them and they cut him in midseason in the baltimore. Ravens picked him up in a hurry and he played great for them in the second half of the two thousand nine hundred and season to the point where they signed him to a contract extension before the season was out and eljay ford would have been a very big help in the eagles on the eagles. Defense these last couple of years and so we're kind of. I don't think this is going to go that way Eric wilson has has has a little bit more to his resume than eljay ford did when the eagles picked him up

"Think of Eljay Ford before last season when he was used as a starter before the year prior where he would go in in certain packages. And so again, similar Moncrieff not only as barren gonna have to really work for his reps in the in practice in en- games. But he's going to have to prove his worth in certain specific packages incidences. So with that said, you look at these three players who can have the biggest impact while I do think the barren can imp-. An impact in his own way. And I think that Moncrieff I think long Krief to be really good for this team. I really do. I think that a lot of people are underselling him based on his last two seasons. One in Indy. One in Jacksonville. But you have to remember who their quarterbacks at that time. Joe Jacobi percents Curtis painter. I think might have been throwing him passes at one point in. Blake Bortles Jacksonville. You can't expect Ben Rothlisberger stays healthy. There's no way you can expect it unless he has completely fallen off to face of the earth in terms of skill. There's no way that he would have such mediocre numbers. If he's on the field significant amount of time, so Moncrieff could have a big impact on this team. I think he's a big target could red zone target. He can stretch the field vertically that is something stretching feel vertically something we've talked about a lot on this show and the team needs podcast and things like that. So he fits that role. But I can't. Stop thinking about what I said at the very start of all this. And that is that Steven Nelson is going to be slated as the starter come training camp the starter. He doesn't have to beat out already burns Cody cents vase currently not on the roster. He's a free agent still it is his job now coaches like for instance, next week by Thomas speak at the owners meetings in EFI NICs believes where they are this year in he'll probably say that everyone's had earned their spot. I don't buy that for a second. This guy's going to be the starter. Joe Hayden is gonna be the other starter. He is going to have the best chance to have the biggest impact on this team. But notice I said he'll have the best chance because he still has to go out and actually perform in when I mean by that is can he duplicate those foreigner sections again that he had last year for the Kansas City. Chiefs were going to be a Mike Mitchell situation where member when the Steelers picked up Mike visuals. Free agent. He had just left Carolina. He had five interceptions season in fans were just enamored with him. They were named with that number. And they said man, I can't wait to have this eighty here. He's Comey's a hard hitter. Boy took about ball skills. I think Mike Mitchell might have had only two or three interceptions in his entire Steelers tenure I could be wrong. And if you're in the live chat, and you know, what that number is, please let me know..

"I mean, if you go look at the box score here Eljay had nine defensive rebounds. That's something that coming into the year. A lot of people were worried about are rebounding ability, and certainly we gave up eighteen offensive rebounds. I think one of the best offense rebounding teams in our conference. But Eljay did a great job staying focused in not letting his lack of offensive touch dictators defensive energy. I think that shows great maturity in this group in general like you said Maury Maury at a quiet thirty seven. Yeah. Well, that's the kind of player. He is. If you could store quiet thirty seven, and you must be nice. Yeah. What's the biggest challenge for you guys? Defensively was their interior paint play goal van in the block, especially creating scoring opportunities. Not only for the south before the shooter's what was the strategy. They I know you've tried the front through dealt with a little bit. But what were you guys thinking going into the game? We had a couple of different couple different looks. We wanted to throw them. I think Jesse go vans. One of the best big guys in the country. And I think a lot of that comes from his his skill set. And obviously love the work that he's put in. But what we tried to do is just make him uncomfortable. Trying to go away from the shots that he normally makes a lot of his shots are left shoulder right hand, jump hooks. Yeah. He he made to really nice left hooks tonight. So I think Patrick's been getting in there with coach he's been doing a good job so credit to them. But I thought our guys did a good job fighting and not letting him get a lot of deep position in deep touches, I thought you guys went into your bits early in the first half, and you have to be happy to see this kind of test on the road. Greg Williams junior continues to prove that he is. Is worthy of minutes. Triple gave you some energy on on not only on the scoring. But defensively had a couple of big plays talk about your bits. How comfortable you feel with these guys? Well, right now, we've got ten guys eligible to play in all ten of those guys have been working extremely hard in practice. I think they all know that it's a long season. Coach Mullen is a great. Example of that is somebody who does a great job of getting organized prepared every single day that they're going to play in the game. And I think Greg is slowly assimilated into what we're doing. He's getting comfortable Brian has played in huge games for us. And did a great job. Obviously. In the Duke game Villanova game last year. So he's paid big moments for us. And then CD tonight was really his first real taste of something of this caliber. I think he passed the test with flying colors coach, thanks for the time. We'll see on Tuesday or a guys. Thanks coach. Gregg, thanks joins us here on the post game show a victory for Saint John's as they defeat Georgetown by the score of ninety seven to ninety four lots of do on the post game show will tech the statistical ledger after this.

"Jerusalem. Enter office in Washington DC and our media center engage in a full throttle legal defensive Israel at where the United Nations. So we know this Israel, and this is an Email. I've sent out today Israel enemies have one goal. What is it? It's always been the same the obliteration of the state of Israel. They won't get rid of the Jewish state. Even worse. The UN continues to betray Israel. We've seen that now in a resolution. That was condemning HAMAs that would have passed if they would've used their traditional normal. Majority vote. But instead they changed it to the two third requirement knowing they could defeat it. So they defeat the vote by a procedural maneuver. And now, what do we do we've sent a formal demand not just to anybody at the United Nations? But to the secretary general of the UN, why are we able to do that? Because our European center for law Justice is a recognized nongovernmental organization with status before the UN. So that we could engage in these issues, and that's exactly what we're doing in defense of Israel. I wanna know from her audience. How important is it to you that we as an institution stand with Israel, and that the country the United States stands with Israel. We'll take your calls at one eight hundred six eight four three one one that really gives you an understanding of what we're talking about here a resolution condemning KamAz with Islamic Jihad would it passed, but for procedural rule change, which by the way, they haven't used all year until this resolution, which we also point out in our demand in our formal demand going. To the United Nations you're supported the Eljay allows us to do this. It's that straightforward you support the ACLU I can mobilize offices and Trostberg Jerusalem. Washington DC at instantaneously, and we did that exactly today. So we appreciate your support at ACL. Jay, Donald especially in the matching challenge campaign, ACL j data wall. So take your calls at one eight hundred six eight four three one one here. But I want to set the stage here and kind of get everybody sent someone. We'll start with Jordan. How big of an issue? Do you see this? I think this is a huge issue. The idea here again that the the support for Israel at in the in the United States at the UN is critical and that we have to fight on every single one of these fronts because if we don't if we don't find it all these fronts as we will see staying his said, Israel will be sanction Israel, be cut out. So whether it's a BBS movement that wants to cut out Israel businesses from DUI business in Israel. Whether it is at the UN if we don't exercise are important. Roll their Israel would be economically sanctioned and treated like a South Africa during apartheid they would be economically. Isolated to the point where Israel would be destroyed without having to go to war economic destruction less. What happened is unconscionable? There were twenty anti Israel resolutions this year in the United Nations. General twenty of them they all pass by simple majority. They come down to one that's going to condemn a terrorist organization, and they changed the rule HAMAs is responsible not only for Israeli death. But for Palestinian deaths, they routinely break international law by putting their missile batteries and their warehouses in schools, hospitals, and kindergartens they have burned thousands of acres of land with their incendiary kites. I mean, this is a terror group. And yet they changed the rule to basically support that group and yet with Israel, twenty resolutions, simple majority. You just thinking about that twenty resolutions condemning Israel majority vote one resolution condemning a terrorist group they decided to go to the two-thirds. That's okay. That's the rules. That's why the ACO J exist of Nali point that out but to not let it happen. And now fight back, and that's what we're doing. How important is professor Hutchinson. This is very very important the UN's failure to. Condemn HAMAs must be seen as part and parcel of the BBS movement and the UN's continued process of issuing resolutions condemning Israel, the failure to condemn HAMAs are part of a deliberate campaign.

I actually had a Burger King suggestion for you. What? Dave. Oh, it's called the nightmare king. Oh, no. I'm not eating that. Why not tell them about the black bun burger? No that's from. That was some like thing. I think they ran a couple years ago. This one is a green hamburger bun Bebo. No. You don't worse. I'm not eating that no deal here. But here's the niche to it. Scientific studies revealed that this thing is likely to cause nightmares. Oh my God. Why says the nightmare? King has a ghoulish green bun and his filled with grilled beef. Crispy, chicken, bacon, American cheese, and manny's and Burger King is actually claiming that the Halloween sandwich will induce nightmares. Having tested it with a hundred people over ten nights. The study revealed a three point five time increase in nightmares. It's the combination of protein and cheese that leads to vivid dreams. And then they go on get into like the science of it. Some Burger King sandwiches are the burgers of their dreams. The nightmare. King is the burger of your nightmares. Div? Oh, come on. Why why why we need to go? Try the nightmare king. You know, why not gonna hurt you? I don't wanna try nightmare. K it is go home dream about Rex. But what have you have a different kind of nightmare. It's only one type of being always evolved. Say also have they created a black frozen Fanta drink so it's like a fantasy slushy? And it's called scary black cherry. I'll let you have the scary black cherry. If you go get a nightmare king. No. I need somebody listening this to go by the nightmare king, and ate it. Yeah. That's what we should be by four dinner. Eat it for dinner, and then go to bed and tell me the next day. "Going back to the end zone. Jamie more Matt Leach on the side of the on the other side of the glass, and let's go right to man. John Borden from the wolverine magazine what I'm John. How you doing? They're doing great good here. feB gamy, obviously a big week for people to watch Michigan's football and basketball media day yesterday. So everything's rolling. And I'm glad you're talking about that I wanna get into some basketball later, but I have to get into this Michigan state thing. I it was a big game. John. There was a different. There was a whole different attitude for Michigan going into this game. First of all, very, quiet. No, no, no, no choice words nineteen from the coaching staff. Nothing from the players. It was kind of ominous. Yeah. No, they weren't talking. But they were planning to do. And they did they did just that. I mean, it was. You're right. Jim Harbaugh had probably his shortest press conference of the year days before that on a Monday. And but when they showed up at stadium they were ready to play. This can stay was apparently ready to try to pull a little bit of a intimidation stunt, and if anything it backfired. Well, and I'm glad you brought this up because people are going to say Jamie keep bringing it up. But you you're doing a great segue anyway. So Michigan state my understanding is that they walked from Kellogg over to the stadium. Then they go down on the field. And they walk across walk down the field. Right. They supposed to do all of this before ten o'clock. Correct. That is correct. According to their own schedule. Okay. So when this happened, okay? We got some players Devon Bush, Lawrence Marshall, Laverne hill. And then Mark dantonio said he wasn't there. Why would he say, well, I know I misspoke. He didn't say wasn't there. He said Bs and check to narrow. Yeah. And then people check the tape, and there was five yards behind his grip of guys, you know, smirking, and it's one of those deals where you know, he could if he wanted to he could be tried to be a little vague and play around with the the the BS comment, but it was in direct response to someone a reporter saying, here's what Jim Harbaugh said and said that you were walking right behind this taking place smiling, and that drew the comment well either he was being exceptionally indistinct with. With the direction of what he said. Or maybe he was hoping that there. There wasn't a tape. John your way two thousand eighteen you live in two thousand eighteen and wherever there is a Michigan. Michigan state football game. There's a camera somewhere recording players, okay. Yeah. I hear you say. Thing was here. Either way. He's no, no matter. How anybody tries to spin. It you had that team marching down the field. And instead of you know, making the request saying, hey, can you guys clear out? You had the the itching for a showdown and the itching for the the intimidation and Mark dantonio walking right behind is walled players and clearly taking some enjoyment out of that fact, I don't know whether he thought that it might spark his team to to maybe get more than one hundred yards in the game instead of ninety four. But whatever the case was it didn't work. Well, my thing is in Jim Harbaugh said this. Let's thank God nothing. I mean arms were I mean fists weren't thrown kids going at it. I mean, really you want to take this to this level. Really? Yeah. That's a brawl waiting to happen. Right. One swaying. And and it's probably on and, you know, thankfully, Devin Bush. Didn't didn't take that bait because I'm sure they'd have wanted nothing more than to have him kicked out of that game before it ever started. Oh, without a doubt. Without a doubt you want to get rid of the the captain of the defense. Why why wouldn't you you get rid of Devon Devon Bush? I mean, you've you've done something. But it might. They clearly weren't going to win that game. In in the traditional manner. There was no question about that. They would have they just didn't have the horses. An especially with Brian Lewinsky throwing the football at a twenty percent clip. Like he was under intense heat. And apparently, you know, not one hundred percent either way they weren't winning that football game unless they wanted three to nothing. Well, I, and then we I mean we were in the game and the work we find out the work. He's got a bad shoulder. I mean who wouldn't have a bad show that throwing the ball seventy four times right in the previous game. I'm just saying you gotta be we gotta be we. I mean, we I'm sorry. I'm not I'm not a mind reader. I didn't know the young man had a bad shoulder. They never reported it after the Penn State game. Okay. So I can only go with what they're reporting after the game. Right. Yep. So area. I mean that that doesn't go to Eljay Scott's legs. I mean, he's he's a running back. They somebody found a way to get him on the field. Obviously he was on the field plane. Yeah. They had. They had eleven guys out there. They just weren't doing anything, and it didn't escape my attention either that that Jim Harbaugh who likes to remind everybody that he doesn't have his medical degree when he doesn't want to talk about injuries was willing to put out there yesterday that it looked like he might have been throwing with a torn labrum and. At that moment. I knew. Yeah. Yeah. Jim serious about this thing. And he's he's fired up and he has turned the cannons on east Lansing. Sure, that's what they wanted to. Everybody's been talking about this for the past ten years. Everybody's been talking about this, John. They will Michigan. We, you know, let's get a rivalry going. Let's do this. I mean, the whole I said this the celebration on the field that that's not how it used to be when and I hate to say this. But back when I played when you won the Paul Bunyan, you celebrated in your locker room you pass Paul around. You took some pictures you did things with it. But it went back right back into the trophy case room. Okay. They talked about how ugly he was. He didn't they didn't want him out in the out in clear view. But tyreek kennel the the senior safety for Michigan. Said they Michigan actually got commission to paraded around the stadium after what Michigan state did a year ago. Oh, whitney. Yeah. Well, I'm just saying that's you know, he made he made a point of it was really in response to what had taken place in Michigan stadium the year go. Well, now, it sounds like this is going to be the norm. I mean, we've gone from celebrating with a trophy inside your inside your locked locker room the sanctum of the locker room now. And I'm okay with it. We'll celebrate it with the fans. We'll celebrate it will sell it. Hey, we did it. I thought George blah was gonna have a heart attack saying that Michigan. Taking the feel like they won the Super Bowl. Yup. And I was asked quietly by by one of the spurting media people, you know, whether this was the greatest celebration that I'd seen Michigan teams winning. You know against Michigan state. And I I. Allowed the fact that you know, what they were a little fired up a little more than usual. And that kind of is expected when when there's been some there's been struggling that series. You know, their job now is to get back to win and three out of every four, and you know, kind of struggling it up a little more, right? I mean, look it. I'm sorry after we saw what they did a year ago. We did half of what they did a year ago. Now, we tried to replicate I saw them. I saw the Michigan guys try to replicate would Michigan state. Michigan state got on the walls. They sat on the walls. Like, the the players do in Michigan stadium when we win, and they seem the victims with the fans, they got on the wall and was celebrating with with would Paul Bunyan and everything. So I mean, it has gone to that fever pitch. Isn't this what everybody want it? It's certainly what Michigan state wanted. They have for years then. Absolutely. Yeah. Over the fact that Michigan. Shrugged about them for a while. And so yeah, the game, but new high states really the the big game, and that just burned them, and they more than anyone else wanted this to be one of those series where it was Ballah. Bama Auburn, or or, you know, take us seriously. And and then, you know, Michigan clearly took them very seriously this year, and then then they talk about celebrations. Right. You have our attention. Now, you've been asking for you. Now, have it. I mean, I heard it Mark dantonio started this whole celebrating Paul Bunyan for recruiting purposes showing the, hey look at us. We be Michigan. We can beat them. Look it. Now now that it has happened. He's turned the page, and I don't know if you caught any glimpse of his press conference. Today. I did I did. And now he's got this card, and he's got dot points on the Cardi and responding to Michigan was not one of them. Absolutely. No. He was he was not doing that. You know, I'll probably give him at least a little bit of credit on. I'm sure part of it is that he was advised to does it and move forward part of it was, you know, four days from now he's got a game against a team that just knocked off Ohio State in Purdue. And you know, don't let Michigan beat you twice and might have been a little bit. The fact that that with with some of the video that's come out, and he might have been fighting a little bit of a a losing battle there. And I don't think anybody that is Michigan state attuned would agree with that part of it. But there's no question that things the the whole tenor of the debate hasn't been going Michigan's way Michigan state's way since some of that video. Came out. Okay. I'm gonna move away from this now. So we have a BI week. I hate by weeks. I really would prefer them continuing. But obviously, it's on the schedule. And we brought up Don Brown said some things last night at the at at the coaches show saying that, you know, this whole Penn State thing has been on his mind all year long. So he's going to have his guys ready. I mean, what do they need to do the state chart? Well, I think they need to first of all I get healthy the people that aren't that are nicked up a little bit and get some rest this week. But then there's no question they are going to be infused with so much focus, and I think one of the things that team has done really, well is is locking and focus on the team that they're playing and and not get ahead of themselves. They gave a tremendous effort against Wisconsin. Instead of okay. You know, Michigan state's right around the corner. Now to me this this by falls perfect time. And I I hear you saying you hate him. But this one they can get Michigan state out of their system and really focused on Penn State. And if you don't think that Don Brown is going to have that defense just breathing fire when Penn State comes to town. You didn't see him after laughter. Last year's game against Penn State because think of how many times stance, Don Brown is Ben in town that his defense got basically blasted and and they got taken down at Penn State in a way that you know, just just hasn't happened that that doesn't happen..

"Do you want to give your hero for the offense before we continue to talk about the news here for the offense. The easy answer is James Washington are not James watch, and it was looking at his stat line. As I said that James Connor. If I were to find. Is James corner. There's no way around it Ye. That's that's obviously who you have to take because he just went off. I mean, Rothlisberger I live. We said he had a two point seven five day at a four. I mean, what are you going away from. I mean this James, Connor anytime a running back almost has two hundred yards. From from line of scrimmage. I mean, you gotta give it to him. He played a fantastic game. So yes, it would be James card. I would be my offense of hero. Who would be your offensive? Zero. Offense zero. I'll go with well, he. Really. Offense plate. Okay today and they didn't offense of line didn't give up a sack opened up holes. Rothlisberger could maybe be that zero b, but he did end up recovering from that horrible second quarter. I can't think of one, maybe Chris Boswell as a point after he missed it and it's not offense, but that's closest I got. What do you have. Do agree that Chris possible. In fact, on Twitter, I wrote Houston, we have a Boswell problem, but so I will give it to Boswell. I think Boswell is is the one kind of source spot on the offense. Aside of football, he asked to figure that out bro. No, but actually, no, no, no, no, no, I'll take that back. It's not going to be Boswell that interception is been that interception was so bad. The gates at three touchdown hundred twelve rating. It's got to be been Rothlisberger that off that that interception was horrible. So it has to be been Rothlisberger. So Boswell, we'll get a break this week. Yeah. So let's talk divas fan. This is your bread and butter. This is right in your wheelhouse. You love talking defense. You have looking at game film and stuff of that nature. What were your thoughts on the Steelers defense, especially, we know TJ y played well the what about the inside linebackers? I thought Eljay fort Representative himself nicely covering devante Freeman out of the backfield is not an easy task. He did that several times today. I gotta say that maybe just maybe I don't think Medicaid stays though in Vince Williams is healthy. Let's see. More Eljay four on the field. What do you think? I think that would be a nice adjustment to put Eljay four d. coverage. I think that would be nice adjustment. I think you could take Boston off the field and you put Eljay fort there and tell them of defense. I think the plan was sound. I mean, I, I have to look at it all twenty two. I thought they played more to deep coverage looks. And I think Joe Haden played a well over game on Julio Jones. And you can't really tell that at times from the television camera. But you know, when Julio Jones is not have a big day, you gotta think Joe Hayden had something to do with that. I think the six fourteen is a little bit shaky on third down forty, three percent, but I think the stops that they get were key in spots and they were able to stack some of those spots. The only thing on defense. And when you get pressure, it makes it tough for the defense and they got pressure. I think they got six sacks in the game, and they also got quite a few. Quarterback kids looking at gang book. If you look at the defensive stats, seven think they got six sacks and I'm sorry, I love and kids eleven quarterback hits that. That's great amount of pressure on. I think they had if you add, the sack is probably about me just do quick math here in terms of actual pass plays the forty five. You add two, six, six, fifty one. So you're getting good a good pressure on fifty. One pass attempts with eleven hits and six sacks that seventeen plays..

We had lunch and Italy dinner in France, and. And you could've walked? Yes, I don't. Wanna use, betrayed Italy. I don't wanna use up your whole segment. What do you got for this week? All right. I'm an easier phone or do you bring your big, bring your big? I do both. I do both. And if I'm gonna if I'm going to post it on social media lotta times, I just do it on the phone because it's easier. Okay. And have you heard of the app called the slow shutter Cam? No. So this is an iphone app, and I mean, you don't need it for your next pixel because in Eljay devices area have built in, but for iphones you need this because it will. It will help you merge shorter exposures so into a single image so you can take so you can have that, you know that you know professional looking photo, especially in dark places or if you want, you You know, know if. if. Yeah, cool. Let's call the slow shutter Cam, but you only need it's only by phone because you don't need it for the other devices. They've it's body parts to say as you just like put through these things. This is the grizzly a slide show ever seen. It's just like every slide is some another story. Yes. Every crime scene is a story of its own is a novel. And it opens up in every direction. Telestrator. He tells me this story back when he worked in the wing county coroner's office in Detroit. There was young woman. This story by the way, probably is not suitable for younger children. Okay. Anyway, this young woman, she apparently killed herself by taking her boyfriend's gone. Putting on her mouth and firing real. It was ruled a suicide. That's what the police thought. That's what the other medical examiners thought. But to Jacob, it's wondered there's women didn't have a history of depression. There's no note. My colleagues tease me is being fair annoyed and seeing things where they were not to does examination could in the inside of the woman's mouth. In this particular case, the thunk showed two holes, two holes. He says, is very strange in this kind of case because usually told me gets a little explicit again. Usually he says, when people shoot themselves in the mouth to kill themselves, the kind of point the gun upward toward the brain, the tongue doesn't get involved at all, doesn't get injured. The only way this could have happened. He realized his tongue was all bunched up, kind of pushing against the tip of the gun. The muzzle of the gun when the gun went off. Why would you do that? Why put your tongue there? If you're killing yourself in my assessment, that this this was a homicide? No. Do I know for sure? No, I did not. But that's the logic..

"We can afford as a call screener, and it's Eljay in the, Kim Komando show shed this weekend. What's going on with our caller's well okay so. We all know that the internet provides us with a lot of things to look at some things are wholesome some things are not some. Things referred all right Sally's husband seems to have a, penchant for the p. o. r. n. and so she's wondering their pastor they've speak with their friends have kind of quiet reflection together, and so, now we just need to go, king maybe, it's time, to put a key logger. Or some sort of software that tracks what he's doing because doesn't seem to have, any, resolution so she's really hoping you can help her out well and that's part of the problem with the. Internet is that is that it Seems. Like we're ever you go online there's I've always said you're like six websites six web pages away from anything that you should not be. Saying right I mean it's crazy hey Sally thanks for, thanks for calling the show today so how long has this been going on Probably off and on about fifteen years. Oh. Wow that's, a long. Time, and, so so. When did you feel like you. Needed to help your husband around the issue Well fifteen years ago I didn't deal. With it very well I guess I got extremely angry and I just took the computer away for a few days and but I gave in and let him have it back and just kind of pretended maybe he's doing better and and just not thought about it or checked on him or. Followed up or anything but just just recently a, couple of weeks ago, I've taught him When I was from home out, of town and I'd be thinking needs help and he he he. Admits it and he doesn't, want to do it he, admits that he's week we've talked with our pastor but I know in time hill Time again and he'll give the and if it's. Something flashes across the screen. And understand especially for me, and I think it's it's harder But do, you agree that if we can find somebody for me to block it up, at some sort of password whatever may be yeah It's first of all you're not alone I. Get these calls from time, to time, I mean there I think there are a, lot. Of couples couples that liked to watch porn online there's a lot of couples you know I don't want that garbage, in my household? Right And, so In the, audience attire Sally seems to be divided because, you know as, we're talking I, guarantee you he's going to their Email. Right now and I do read every. Single Email they get sent to, me saying you don't leave the. Guy alone. Everything's fine but you, know what if you don't want that in, your home there are tools that will help you. Stop. It okay The category that you're, going to look for is accountability and filtering software. Okay And accountability is an interesting word isn't it I mean it's where if somebody in your, household goes to a place where, you don't want that content in your house whether as an adult or. Child Is that that they, are held accountable to their actions A. Filtering program does. Something different. They try to go somewhere they get blocked that's it There's no. Accountability there Okay so, what you're looking for I would think based upon the short conversation that we just had is that accountability because you know you guys are married how? Long you've. Been, married four year. Okay twenty four years you're in this. For. The long haul okay So we need to we need to, make sure. That the relationship continues to grow and, thrive, not, just. Stop because if it stops the relationship is over. And we, don't want that to happen, and you also want conversation so? If he does try to go somewhere? That you don't agree with that? You can you can call them aside and? Say hey listen buddy I see what you did what was going. On I mean if this is the problem what's the symptom of the problem what. Was. The cause of the problem, why did you were you board was there nothing to do whatever may be was it something so so now it kind of sparks a conversation so? When you. Start. Looking at accountability. And filtering software and that's where I'm. Heading Is that there aren't too many options out there there, are Christian focus based okay Because the because so many of them I want to say there are sometimes are. Afraid to go down that. Path But to programs that I can point, you in direction what. Is called covenant is it. Was covered in, is you, actually, get a report whenever you want you can sign on you, can covers every device any iphone ipad your tablet Android you name it even down to. A fire HD from Amazon and you, can sign on at any given moment and see where that device is going see the searches that had been performed see anything that actually has been flagged. To be brought to your attention so that this way you can have that conversation. And it's kind of uncomfortable conversation I get that another one you want to check out his ex three watch similar I think covenant is has been out there. A little bit longer has a little, bit more thorough package for you links for you over red commando dot com so you can check their and again thanks for your call to you're pretty brave and common national radio show From coast to coast over, four hundred stations your source for everything digital is not Kim Komando show Over the years I've tried and tested every way that average people can and should back up the data on. Their computers and I'll tell you hands down that I drive is. Simply the best. Cloud backup service, there, is, three, big reasons why I it's. The easiest to use. I backup everything all my computers smartphones. Ipads tablets everything to just one single I drive account second it's the most secure with i-drive. Snapshots I'll, never lose even. A single fight of data and never pay a penny because of ransomware and.

"As you know, last week we started our I ever inaugural invested book club with investing between the lines by Eljay Rittenhouse and I'm so excited about this book. So on August fourteenth, on our episode on August fourteenth, we're going to play my entire interview with the author all about this book and how she evaluates companies using words, not so much numbers, which to me like blew my mind. So pick up that book, Chuck it out. That will be our August fourteenth episode. Now that I've said that, let me add one more thing. We also promised to talk about owner earnings that we put in our book invested and we are going to get to that you guys, but it needs it's a big subject and we need a little prep. And we need to make sure we have a good amount of time to chat about it and really understand how to get into these numbers. So we're going to put that off for a little bit later, but it's coming a promise. It's on our mind. Yep. Yep. That's what we're gonna do. Own is fascinating. It's a concept that Warren Buffett created as far as I know nobody else really uses that term warning Charlie use it. They've rather subjective way of coming out to the numbers that makes it not really crystal clean about how you're gonna end up with a number and we'll get all into that and why we like to use it. Yeah. So there's lots of talk about and I wanna make sure we have the time and the focus to really make a strong series because as you guys know, this is why we wrote our book invested because we talked about this stuff on the podcast and it's hard to really make it clear in a purely audio format. So now that we have the book, we can refer to it easily and you guys can all refer to it easily. And then we can really talk about it much much more clearly. Of course, we,.
