"Battle. Go to Salem. Now dot com is Charlie said to watch this crucial, crucial, multi part series, you're going to walk away and as Charlie said, there's an answer to this. There's also an answer to the ailing country we live in right now, Charlie. We're 27 days away from the midterm election. I want to get your perspective on something. Here's what here's where we are. We have, we're looking at a state, Pennsylvania, that could elect a guy who evidently can not comprehend words. Human words, NBC has now revealed the John fetterman is unable to comprehend human words. He needs everybody has sympathy for somebody who suffered a debilitating thing like a massive stroke. Everybody feels sorry for the guy, but this is an important position. And if you've got such a level of cognitive disability that you can not comprehend what fellow senators are saying, you can't understand what your constituents are saying. I mean, I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that you have to comprehend words in order to be a U.S. senator, Charlie Kirk, how is John fetterman still ahead in the polls and I guess the presumed Victor in the state of Pennsylvania knowing what we know? Yeah, I sure hope that's not the case. You know, I'm trying to do everything I possibly can to help Doctor Oz get his message focused and we've had him on the show and trying to get him across the finish line. I mean, fetterman is so dangerous, not only is he dangerous because he is not in good medical condition he'll just be controlled by the Elizabeth Warren Bernie Sanders wing of the Senate. But his views are unbelievable. I mean, letting violent criminals out of jail, legalizing all drugs, abolishing the filibuster, getting rid of the Electoral College. And so look, I mean, I have said for a while and I am the contrarian because Mike, you know, conservatives say, well, you know, we don't want to stoop down to the level of the left. Generally, I agree with that. But when you're running up against, you know, a guy that is quasi an invalid. And I don't say that lightly. I don't say that with joy. He can not speak in sentences. That makes sense. And he's going to be at senator from one of the largest states in the country to make some of the most consequential decisions right now in America, then the doctor in the race, Doctor Oz should be unafraid to diagnose him and say, look, this guy, if I was a doctor, I would not allow him to be in the U.S. Senate. He's getting there. And you know it's frightening Charlie. I'm with you in terms of having to point out. It's one thing to have a speech impediment. It's one thing to say you can't speak properly or because of the, if you can't comprehend what somebody is saying to you, exactly right. That's disaster. That's disaster. And speaking of Doctor Oz, and you're going to miss out because, you know, big star that you are, you're going to go down the street and join us in Scottsdale, but when we make the stops in Philly and in Pittsburgh, Wednesday, October 19th, our main speaker, Doctor Oz. I'll be on stage with doctor Sebastian gorka Chris de Gaulle, Dennis prager, and doctor Raj, that's going to be Wednesday in Philly Thursday in Pittsburgh and then Sunday, the 23rd Phoenix with this guy, Charlie Kirk. "An introductory offer and it won't last long, so order now. I'm continuing my discussion of fascism as a way of responding to Joe Biden's allegation that patriots and trumpsters and make America great again types are somehow semi fascist. I talked in the last segment about Giovanni gentile, the philosopher of fascism. Gentile was kind of the mentor for Mussolini. And Mussolini says I'm not quoting, I'm quoting by the way from my book, the big lie, which is kind of the authoritative work on the subject worth reading if you haven't read it yet. Quote, it was gentile. This is Mussolini, who prepared the road for those like me who wished to take it. By the way, both Mussolini and gentile come from the far left. They were both prominent socialists and marxists. But now I want to turn to the sort of totemic figure of fascism that perhaps the figure better known than Mussolini, this was, of course, Adolf Hitler. Here's Hitler in 1927 speech. We are socialists. This is worth a pausing on for a second because it is amazing how many people to this day deny that Hitler was a socialist or that Hitler's movement was a socialist movement. It doesn't matter that they call themselves national socialists. The idea that we hear from the left it well, they didn't mean it. They just used the term socialist as if to say this was just a kind of a marketing or labeling technique. But here's Hitler. We are socialists. We are the enemies of ten's capitalist system of exploitation, and we are determined to destroy the system under all conditions. Later, goebbels, the chief propaganda minister for Hitler was asked, when you talk about national socialism, which is more important, the national part, which is nationalism, or the socialism part. And GoPros was very candid. He goes, he goes, the most important part is socialism. Here I'm quoting global goebbels. What has priority and what comes second? First, socialism, and then national liberation. So even though fascism and national socialism is a marriage between two distinct ideas, nationalism on the one hand socialism on the other, it's very clear that the Nazis gave priority to the socialism and now you can see all of this in the Nazi Party's 25 point program. They had to campaign, and this puts the lie to the nonsense that they were just using this as a marketing slogan, because after all, if you are campaigning in a national election and you put this forward as your platform, that's what the people are sort of electing you to do. That is your face to the German people. And so it's interesting that when you look at the Nazi 25 point program and it's worth going down the list and just keeping in mind is this sound more like the Biden Democrats, does this sound more like the left or does this sound more like the Trump agenda? The maga agenda, the right. So let's go through some of the Nazi 25 point program. Nationalization of large corporations and trusts. I think we know which side of the aisle that follows on. Government control of banking and credit. The seizure of land without compensation for public use. All of this sounds very collectivist and no surprise. This is the essence of what the fascist ideology is the splitting of large land holdings into smaller units. Confiscation of so called war profits, prosecution of bankers and other lenders on the grounds of usury, the Nazis had their own venom directed at their own version of Wall Street. They were kind of occupy Wall Street types. Abolition of incomes unearned by work, profit sharing for workers in all large companies, a broader pension system paying higher benefits, universal free healthcare and education. Really, when you go down this list, and I admittedly, there are some sort of antique words on the list. For example, the Nazis don't talk about exploitative rates of interest or greed. They talk about usury, usury is really the old word for exorbitantly high, shylock, and if you will, rates of interest. So you'd have to make some appropriate or sort of modernizing substitutions, but when you do, the whole Nazi platform reads like the Democratic Party applied form. In fact, it's kind of like all you take the Nazi 25 point program and let's say you were to just cross out the word Nazi. Just write in the word Democrat. And then you just go to college campuses around America and you say, let me read you the Democratic Party platform. But in fact, of course, you're reading the Nazi platform. And you just go down the list, I bet you that left a student would be absolutely cheering and applauding. That'd be like, yeah, this is awesome. This is great. You know, who came up with this Elizabeth Warren, Bernie Sanders was at the Obama people around Joe Biden? Well, of course, the correct answer is none of the above, the people who came up with this were the young Adolf Hitler, at least you may not have originally drafted it, but he signed off on it, and it was all the key Nazi theoreticians and activists and goons that put this platform together. And so you begin to see here how the word fascism, a term that describes the left that describes the collectivism and sure there's an authoritarian strain in fascism, but it is collectivist or statist authoritarianism. And this is really what the left tries to hide today. It's like after World War II, they have done a work that is now lasted two generations of hiding the leftist ideological roots of both fascism and nazism.

"Content across marketing. Plus to me series according to the four three industries. I want to point out at some point I'm going to lose weight. I just let you know someday it's going to happen. In an interview with The Washington Post in early March 3 four three community director Brian Gerard said the team is looking at ways to feature the show within the game's universe. Quote, we have some content that is inspired by the show that will be coming to coming out in the game a little bit further down the road Gerard said with no timetable specified. The long awaited second season of halo infinite arrives may 3rd, three, four, three industries is expected to ramp up communication on the new content during the season. Time will tell whether the studio is able to create assets from the show into the game on top of the already on top of the other core issues that fans have been waiting to see addressed, including player complaints of a lack of content in decent issues that have messed up player timing. Seasons in live service games typically last a handful of months. The first season of halo infinite, however, will have lasted 6 months by May 3rd as unusual amount of time in the marketplace. By contrast, Fortnite updates new seasons every three months, halo infinite launched with the promise of speeding up seasonal updates and statin said work on the third season is also underway, obviously I cut out a whole bunch of stuff from this article because of time and then also you know a lot about halo already. Blessing, have you watched halo the TV show? Any plans to ever? No. No, I'm not interested from one. I just don't really care about the halo story that much when I'm playing halo. I'm usually just playing the multiplayer. I like the shooting mechanics. I like the multiplayer match modes. But then also, this seems like it's not getting the best reviews. It seems like it's very fine. Which for me is like, if I'm going to watch a halo TV show, I need it to be more than fine. And so it seems like it's very much a very skip one to me. I think this story is interesting because I never even thought about the crossover that could happen between the halo infinite game and the halo TV show. That's not something across my mind. I'm sure if you're a fan, you're like, yeah, where is the halo TV show content in the game? But right now I'm focused on, all right, when's the game gonna get more content period? Like, when is the game gonna get excited? Exciting again, because yeah, I was gonna say, well, you played it at lunch, right? Have you gone back any at all? No. I played a lot that first month. And I was having a blast with it. And when they did start to cycle in modes and cycle in, they had the Fiesta mill, which I was in love with. And they went and made that permanent. And they were doing stuff like that, that I thought was awesome in that first month. But then I think for me what was the thing that brought it down was like, there was like a handful of maps that I just didn't like. Some of the bigger maps I thought were kind of rough. And I would get those enough to where I'm like, ah, okay, I'm not into it. And then also like, I felt like I had played enough of the same maps in the same modes to where I was just like, okay, I'm done with this. I had a good first month, but I'll wait for more content to come through. And more exciting content didn't come through for me. And so I just didn't feel the need to go back. I think the other thing for me would be that if my Friends were to go back and play, but that's also the thing is, you know, I don't think so, Mike Mike has been going back to halo. I don't think Andy's been going back to halo, my friend Rihanna. My Friends, Rihanna and Danny, I would play halo with them as well. And they've not gone back to halo. Like we've just been going back to apex to play that. And so yeah, Greg one day, I'm going to do my taxes. Okay, I was going to say for the record. That's not a funny joke. You got to get on that. I know, it was April 18th. This is the deadline. I'll do it this weekend. Okay, cool. I appreciate that. Number four on the rougher reports being the U.S. government senators are weighing in on the Activision Blizzard Xbox acquisition. It should be the other way, I guess, Xbox's acquisition of activation blizzard. We go to Ryan lesson over at IGN. Bernie Sanders in three other U.S. senators have raised concerns about Microsoft proposed acquisition of Activision wizard. Quote, we are deeply concerned about consolidation in the tech industry and its impact on workers, Elizabeth Warren, Bernie Sanders, Cory Booker and Sheldon, White House, wrote per The Wall Street Journal. According to letter set to the FTC, the senators are worried that the acquisition acquisition could cause issues experienced by Activision Blizzard employees to be forgotten or made harder to solve. They also call out the fact that, of course, Bobby Kodak might get off Scot free even though he's been pretty terrible human being throughout this entire situation based on every report you've ever read about it. So keep your eyes on that if anything's gonna go with that, but yeah, obviously. I mean, activation blizzard and all the fucking dirtbags that fucked everything up there should be held to every standard and fucking broken rule they have, but we'll see what happens. Do you think something happens if Bohr acquisition happens in terms of if a rumored big PlayStation acquisition happens, right? And then Xbox fires back and buys ubisoft and then PlayStation buys Konami and EA or whatever. Do you think at some point Elizabeth Warren Bernie Sanders and Cory Booker and Sheldon whitehouse go. The only show in The White House's name on your mouth. All right, come on, get him in. You don't think Sean White House has the stuff to like come and be like, hey, stop it. Stop acquiring all these companies. Of course, and what you would define as the town idiot. I.

"There's a lot of different stories I want to get into, but I want to give everyone here a little bit of a victory moment and then a massive warning because I think we're all being played. So let me start with the victory. It is incredibly unlikely, basically it's not going to happen. The build back better Bill. It's unlikely it's going to get passed. The build back better Bill, which gives a $100 billion to illegal aliens. Gives 68,000 new IRS agents, massive tax increase, hundreds of billions of dollars to clean energy. I mean, it is a blank check. To fundamentally transform the country. Thanks to Joe Manchin and kyrsten sinema, it looks like that Bill is not going to pass. But I don't think that's news to most senators. I think that's news to us. We knew that mansion was playing games. We knew that mansion didn't want to see this bill passed for a while. We thought that there might be a scaled down version of it. But I think months ago mansion and Biden and cinema and Democrats knew that this bill was probably $3 trillion too ambitious. So instead, I think there was this skit that was being played on the American people the last couple weeks. Look how big this bill is. Progressives then can say to their base, Elizabeth Warren, Bernie Sanders, we did everything we could, but those stupid Joe Manchin types stopped us. You see, so Warren and Sanders can go back to their base in their voters and say, we tried to spend $3 trillion, but it's not because of me it didn't happen. But instead, what we are seeing and it's been unfolding in the last couple of hours. Is what the real agenda is. You see, I think this is not new. I think that Joe Manchin, Joe Biden, Nancy Pelosi, I think that they knew that they were not going to be able to come to a consensus on the big spending bill. And so you must then ask yourself the question, what is the neck? What is the most important thing for the Democrats if it isn't $3 trillion to go subsidize illegal immigration? So some of you might be saying, well, Charlie, it's gun confiscation. Yep, that's important, not the most important though. Maybe it's Amnesty, very important to the internationalist regime, but not the most important. Maybe it's pandering to the tech oligarchs, very important, but not the most important. Charlie, maybe it's shredding the U.S. Constitution. Very important, but not the most important. Charlie, maybe it's making roe versus wade, the law of the land, very important, but not the most important. I don't know. The issue that connects all the other issues. Is how do we choose who gets power? It's the most important question. How do we go about choosing who's in positions of power? How do we allocate what the sovereign is the people, how do we distribute our power, our individual people sovereignty to people that then have the FBI at their disposal?.

"The price of cryptocurrencies plunging, no clear catalyst on this, of course, we can say the same thing. A lot of days that it's up, maybe it's just that it's Tuesday. Bitcoin, tumbling back near 60,000. Right now you see it down at around those levels. You've also got ether down as well. And some other major coins also falling pretty sharply. You can take a look across the board. Bitcoin off by 5 and a half percent right now, either down by 6 and a half percent. Like point off by ten and a half percent. It's the biggest decliner of that board. We'll continue to keep an eye on this gel. Yep. I used to know all the gold coins. I don't know about krugerrands anymore. Maple Leafs. So I would say those coins are not falling today. And in fact, the 52 week high and low on gold I don't remember was as low as 1672, and it's been the 1962 gold, but the last month. Break even for the year. The last month it's up. And it's up about from about 1750. And it reminds me of the size of the move it reminds me of the ten years back to one 6 because of those inflation numbers last week. And we got a similar sort of anticipatory move in gold and that you are seeing some effect there. But you can hear people thinking transitory, Janet Yellen says it's transitory. Other people say it is a transitory. And these small moves, it's almost like people are maybe setting themselves up for what might be more than just a transitory move. Larry summers has had some really strong comments about this too. I don't know if you saw what he said yesterday he said, look, inflation is here. The fed needs to act immediately. And stop the purchases. And if they don't, inflation very likely is going to set it up so that Donald Trump comes right back in. We'll see about Powell too. Yesterday there was some word that maybe some senators would be alerted pretty soon about what the decision was going to be. That's going to be near term. Jeez, you know, he gets pummeled by a lot of people that and he seems, I don't know, we'll see. Woman as fed chair play a brainer, do you mean? Yeah. And not a Republican? Will we see that cap change and you think it should. We absolutely need to Repeal the salt tax cap the fact that the republicans targeted the state and local tax deduction in the two thousand and seventeen. Gop tax scam was deliberate because they knew that it would have adverse consequences on blue states like california and new york and new jersey and connecticut illinois which by the way send more money to the federal government than we get back in return billions of dollars more to the federal government which then goes to places like mississippi and alabama and louisiana with fine with that. We have a generous spirit in california and new york. Yes that's right. A generous spirit. Yes however we should not be taking advantage of ran in obliterating the state and local tax deduction which they knew would have an adverse impact on people in this state of california and in new york. It was an intentional Act it was diabolical in nature and it impacts the ability of states and localities to provide services public health public safety public education public transportation public housing and the provision of the public. Good which is why it is something that needs to do. You think you think well muscle there you policy. Do you think that that can make it happen. Well you know. i know that. There's a commitment at the highest levels of leadership to make sure that we address this issue And we'll see what that ultimately looks like. But i'm confident Then in the final agreement between the house and the senate We will we will address a wrong. That occurred on the donald trump and the republican led congress in two thousand seventeen. Why isn't there a wealth tax in this package. This is something that the elizabeth warren bernie sanders who who won california and the primary favored. During the presidential campaigns. It was drawn up here by to uc berkeley professors. Why not a wealth tax in this. Well we're still working through with the final package is going to be and i don't want to get out of the head of the negotiations As well as what may be coming out of the ways and means committee In partnership in tandem with the senate finance committee both of which i know are in close communication with each other. I think as a top line we are going to make sure That the wealthy the well off in the well-connected pay their fair share of taxes. And these investments that were making particularly in infrastructure and fixing our crumbling. Bridges rose tunnels airports mass transportation system or water and sewage system. Making sure that we can win the future that will benefit everyone. It will benefit the economy and commerce and by extension the wealthiest amongst us. And so we think it not robbery That everyone be asked to pay their fair share. What that ultimately looks like over the next few weeks you know is a matter of discussion and negotiation..

Let's go to California. California's got a recall election going on right now, and this is Democrat stronghold. So if you were going to see shenanigans, you probably see it here. This is a news report. From Katie. L. A. This isn't fox. This isn't news, Max. This is in no way in. This is this is a local station. Katie LSE. It's where the Dodgers, uh this is local station reporting on what's going on at the polls. They showed up to vote this morning and the special California governor recall election and we're told that computers showed they had already cast their ballots. Excuse me. We're told that computers showed they had already cast their ballots, so What staffers? They say. We're apologetic and helpful. But those voters we talked to are extremely concerned. Suspicious and wanting answers. Wouldn't you be? Obviously Barack Obama, Kamila Harris, Joe Biden. Elizabeth Warren Bernie Sanders have all been campaigning in California to stop this recall. They can the DNC, the Democrats cannot lose the governorship in California. They can't And it might go to Larry Elder Uber conservative. But he's a black guy. They're calling a white supremacist, but they will get to them some other time Democrat Lodge obviously some obviously some weird shenanigans up front. Worth looking at, right? We're not suggesting anything. But if this for you put yourself in those people's shoes, So you're in Woodland Hills, California like Yeah, I'm going to vote. This governor is driving me crazy. He got hypocrite on Covid. He didn't wear a mask to that fancy restaurant. He went to the French laundry with, like 1000 bucks or whatever. So, Yeah, I want this guy to pay. Is he going? You get all excited. Go hand in your ballot when it was mailed to your house automatically because everyone in California is registered vote. Got a ballot G wonder why and then you hand in your balances? Oh, we already we got about from you since you've already voted so either. There is some kind of software error. Someone's trying to pull a fast one and vote twice. But why would you run to the media if you were Voting twice. That's right, or something else happened. There's other some explanation. What is that explanation? And, of course, the poll workers that Ralph volunteers, they're not designed to have answers. So it's a dead end. And this poor guy, so they go to a poll worker. This is outside of Woodland Hills. Even so, it's the second polling location that we're talking about people around with their cameras, obviously, because I mean their phones because this is some weird stuff. Listen to these numbers understand? About.

President Biden Addressing the country as Covid runs rampant bottom line on this Mr Biden is trying to portray himself as a tough guy. To defeat Covid. He's doing that because he looked weak in Afghanistan and because Covid is a terrible problem for all Americans. The over arch of his speech is that if you Will not take the vaccine. You are going to be isolated. You're not going to be able to go many places. That's what Biden is doing. So We all need to understand. That the federal government is very, very adamant. About wiping covid out, or at least controlling it. Because Of the obvious economic Consequences and the hysteria that we continue to experience. "Outs time for the last word. With lots donald. Anything arts rachel and while you were working We have breaking news on the biden infrastructure. Package the senate budget committee has unanimously democrats only on the reconciliation version of it. They have unanimously agreed tonight. the senate democrats on the budget committee to a three point. Five trillion dollar package Then chairman chairman bernie sanders will be getting through the budget committee. It includes met a medicare expansion for dental vision. Care and vision care. This is really the the. These numbers are extraordinary. But but the actual details of what's in this legislation include things that people have fought made sense for decades literally decades but never saw the opportunity. But here here. We are on the on the democrats only bill tonight Budget committee unanimous agreement. That means it's gonna make it out of the budget committee. Mark warner represents what you would probably consider the mansion wing of the budget committee bernie. Sanders represents The other side of the democratic party a they're all in agreement so lawrence on a scale of zero. Nothing's happening to one hundred. Joe biden is signing the legislation. Where does that put us on. The number line In terms of the end versus the beginning. But that this is what it's way up there of for this for this package of the bipartisan. Package is its own track and is holding together. A remarkably well present biden is going to do something truly extraordinary tomorrow. He's actually going to go to the senate democrats luncheon in the capitol tomorrow something. He went through for thirty six years as a senator. I know he went a few times as vice president. I personally. I never saw the president do that in either party When i was working in in the senate so it. It's a really rare thing. But i can almost feel joe biden's eagerness to get up there and really lock in the deal in the full senate The full democratic side of the senate tomorrow after what they've accomplished in the budget committee tonight. So you think that this gets us closer to the end then the beginning. I mean there's been so much talk so much about every procedural step here. And i sort of feel a little bit gun shy about which one of these new steps matters but on this one since it's democrats only you think this is. This is this is. This is a close to the dardel. The only suspense. If it is that that you're waiting to hear is what does joe manchin think. He's not a member of the budget committee. But you know mark warner and joe. Manchin are together on that bipartisan. Version of the bill They're very close together. I doubt that the budget committee would have ignored what joe mansion thinks in coming to this agreement but even if they did even if joe mansion as this proceeds wants to in some ways reduce the number. That's still possible. Within the way this moves. But i have to. I have to believe that. Joe mansions interests were probably very strongly represented by mark warner on that committee. Because what you wanna do is come out of the budget committee with the with the shape of what's really going to be and that information's available to you You know bernie. Sanders is in a meeting every week. It's this is a brilliant construction by chuck. Schumer i think but He's a meeting. Every week of bernie sanders with joe mansion in chuck schumer so called leadership team. Which at that table has joe manchin. Elizabeth warren bernie sanders has ten senators Who need to be in a room together for chuck schumer to understand. Exactly what is possible with all fifty members. It's a really good representative group of what you need to have on the senate floor so i really have to believe with all of that. Communication that bernie sanders and joe manchin have every week The chairman sanders knew what he had to do to get all not just the unanimous vote of his committee but all fifty senate votes on the senate floor. Hey thank you for explaining that. I did not understand that at all before you just explained it and be thank you for letting me interview you about this on your evening you some real estate. You can get it back from me tomorrow. That's my favorite thing. You know i would come to do that. Thank you rachel thank you ll arts. John busey and his wife. And we're on the road within two hours and spent another twenty three hours driving straight through to washington alternating driving and baby duties. Texas representative john. Busey's wife molly is twenty seven weeks pregnant. They did not want to have to make that drive. None of the texas democrats who left the state to deny the texas house representatives. A quorum wants to be in washington tonight but they have made the trip to washington to resist. What president joe biden today called an assault on democracy when vice president. Kamala harris met with texas democrats today. She gave a standing ovation. And then said this courage and commitment and patriotism that you all have evidenced by your actions in addition to your work and your words and i know what you have done comes with brave sacrifice both personal and political. "The Earth. That is the power of compounding. And the more you let money compound, the more incredible it gets. If you take 100 bucks a month for 20 years, you went out with 52 grand. For 40 years you end up with 260 Grand 60 years. One point 1,000,080 years 4.5 million. You go from 20 years to 80. Four times as much savings. You go from 50 grand to $5 million. It's astonishing and this is why it is so vital that we set money aside for babies, exactly a Senator Booker suggests. But don't take it out of 18 because it's not going to accumulate much in such a short period. Leave it alone instead of 18 years. Leave it alone for 70 years. That's what the rise program does, and it does it without any cost to taxpayers. How could that day? It's simple. Will simply let the government sell rise savings bonds just like we used to sell war bonds back in World War two to raise capital Investors love to buy government bonds because they're safe and it's a very patriotic thing to do so the government will sell rise bonds and then invest the money in the financial markets where we'll have the potential to earn the kinds of returns. If the financial markets have historically provided and that way investors get a safe, good investment, and the program can be completely self funding. The rise proposal is a wonderful companion to Senator Booker's proposal, but here's what I'm finding fascinating. Senators Kirsten Gillibrand, Elizabeth Warren, Bernie Sanders, Amy Klobuchar, all of them ran for president last year alongside Cory Booker. All of them are now co sponsors of Senator Booker's proposal. I'm not sure any of them have even heard of the rise proposal. So if any of you know any of them, encourage them to go to the website, we can rise. Dot com. The full proposal is right there, along with three very short videos, explaining it. You can read the proposal online. You can download it. You can read the fax. The FAA accuses well of the kinds of questions people are asking about it. You'll also see online the luminaries who are already weighing in with their evaluations about the rise proposal. Retirement income security for everyone. Exposing the lies and myths that the big brokerage firms the mainstream press and the government are pushing to keep Americans away from financial freedom. You can't handle the truth through bringing America the truth about what really happens in the financial world. Ladies and gentlemen, we're out here to indulge in fantasy, but in political Economic reality. This is the watchdog on Wall Street. You know when they say you know what? It's an old saying, when you're when you're talking about a certain topic and someone to say, boy that hit a nerve. And you think about maybe it's some point time your life. You had some some sort of toothache or nerve pain tooth and how annoying that is. You do realize. People. You do realize that that pain that nerve pain you hit a nerve when it comes to a topical story that it bothers you that that's all about you. You can control them. I know that many of the things that we've been talking about here On this show over the past month or two in particular over the past couple of weeks, including including my podcast. Have been Yeah, let's say sensitive. Too many people and I've gotten an overwhelming Overwhelming amount of never, ever gotten his many emails and messages from people and I'm doing the best I can meet spending hours. Over the course today trying to get back to as many people as possible. And I know many people write me these long messages and I try to be as Um, comprehensive as I can, in my response, but there's only so many hours in the day, but I was some I was thrilled lot of great points that were brought up and I'd have to say 98 99. Percent. The messages that I received talking about the topics of the day and my take on the topics over the past couple weeks have been positive. Positive I haven't gotten into Thank God I haven't gotten into the year. Did you know all that Nasty nonsense. It goes on. I don't pay attention to any of that stuff anyway. Don't answer. Any of that because I'll get into this later. It's an exercise in futility. What we're going to cover some of the topics a little bit today on the program. Um One of the things that that I often speak about here on the program is dealing Dealing with the terrain dealing with life as it is that saying it is What it is. The latest stuff and a big fan of stand up comics and Jerry Seinfeld's latest Stand up bit that he did, I think was for Netflix. It wasn't good. She really wasn't really wasn't up to the Jerry Seinfeld standards by any stretch. This is pre pandemic and he did an entire bit on the phrase. It is what it is and how it angered him. Jerry, You don't understand people who can look at something. And deal with the situation. And remove emotion. Or anger. From it. You're able to conquer it. You're able to deal with it. Yes, that I was thinking that scene in the great movie Rising Sun, Sean Connery. Telling Wesley Snipes about Japanese about not fixing blame. Fix the problem. Don't fix the blame. You can wine and you can commiserating do all these various if innings, but it's not gonna make anything better. We deal with the world as it is, I have to. I am a risk manager. I am a risk manager. We've been doing this for a very long time. I look at macro issues and macro trends and tried to put my client's capital. And the path of whatever type of societal change is taking place, whether I like it or not. If I don't like it again here on the program, I have a a soapbox, a sounding board to discuss these issues to talk about them with you. And again, I'm gonna do my darndest. To fight for a world where my kids can succeed beyond their wildest dreams and on the flip side fail. As well. So I do get the comments in the questions sometimes. Chris, what are you looking at? What do you see What issues? What Macro issues. Were you? Moving forward. You know, we're gonna put aside talking about Can, um the amount of money This country is printing the amount of money this country is spending Because I'm gonna be honest with you right now. I don't get it. It's difficult for me to get my arms around. Using any sort of normal metric Throughout world history. Inflation should be I'm inflation is much, much higher. Then what they're telling us. We all know this against topic of covered here on the program. Don't listen to the crap. That the Fed is telling you on, the economists are telling, you know, just look at your own bills. You see it for yourself. You could see it for yourself. It's right before your very eyes. And I know that the dollar has dropped against other currencies. But You take this into account with the amount of money that they're planning on spending, you know, I can't get my arms around. Those numbers and then given some various different theories here. But one of the major things and we didn't touch upon it here a little bit last week on the program Talked about the universal basic income. And how That idea is coming around and I catch it makes me nervous, just based upon human Nature, but a topic that we have talked about now for for almost I'd say, almost going on 10 years. Almost going on 10 years here in the program is the issue off work, flayed workplace displacement. The wealth gap here in this country. You're turning into this program might be a new Listen to this program. I don't know. Oh, here comes the Elizabeth Warren Bernie Sanders Rap. No..

Senators Running In 2020 Look To Make An Impact In Iowa
"Has yanked the three senators seriously competing in the Iowa caucuses back to Washington for a trial with only Sundays off for good behavior this will be their last Sunday to compete in Iowa last weekend during what was probably their last unencumbered stretch of campaigning before Monday's caucuses all three reacted in characteristic fashion about being in Washington for the impeachment trial more from Walter Shapiro staff writer at the new Republic Walter who's saying what what weight class what they're saying it's where they're saying it the fact is that of the top five candidates in Iowa three of them are supposed to have taken a vow of silence as impeachment here are the three senators Elizabeth Warren Bernie Sanders and Amy Klobuchar so it's that is one thing that we have never seen before in trying to handicap Iowa for example Amy clubber Kerr was doing a tele town hall with a maybe ten thousand I went on the fall but this is such a whole three substituted campaigning person but we have other variables the more the Republicans scream about hunter Biden even though there is no evidence whatsoever that hunter Biden did anything illegal the more it raises questions I would think in the minds of a number of Iowa Democrat Joe Biden really the most electable Democrat or do we have to argue about when your bite into fifty thousand dollar a month retainer rain energy company until November that cease to face I would imagine I I think Elizabeth Warren might have captured it best talking about the lack of face to face and how that that's so critical in Iowa it is very much and I mean the fact is that the best candidates and by far Elizabeth Warren has the best stump speech in Iowa and her her that she's not giving it in any consistent way I mean they're gonna be back on Saturday when the impeachment trial presumably takes a break but should be a breakneck thirty six hours and you can't find too many I wind of boaters at four in the morning yes speaking with Walter Shapiro staff writer at the new Republic so what have say the likes of senator Sanders warning club char said cleverly to kind of avoid the subject of being in the impeachment trial Bernie Sanders has been consistently grumpy about the whole fuss is totally playing to tight now that have been watching that I wish it were otherwise that would that's a paraphrase a little bit of wind has just talked about how much she misses I answer question press about how much she I just misses the face to face interactions with voters in town halls and Amy Klobuchar he's put the highest note possible on it saying that it's an honor to be in Europe only one of only one hundred Americans get the chance to make this judgment an impeachment trial and this is her higher duty I thought you brought up an interesting point to about endorsements right here senator club which are with the shared endorsement oddly enough from The New York Times and then another one recently in Iowa from the quad city times all of a sudden she's gonna sidelined in not even able really to show these off I guess well bear pictured inner TV ads in similar fashion Aliza up since I wrote my article for the new Republic Elizabeth Warren was endorsed by the morning register the largest paper in the state and so do endorsements carry the same weight that they used to and if so how do they come into play when you have senator sidelined an impeachment trial well first of all endorsements and this is sad Purnell bring guy like me endorsements don't carry the weight they did twenty thirty forty years ago but in a caucus where voters are so desperate for clues and cues endorsements may matter in Iowa more than a matter any other time during the twenty twenty presidential

"Let's get to impeachment we finally have some updates Fauria and I didn't leave the show with this today well number one because I want to make fun of the Democrats during the debate last night and all the craziness that went on there and then we had local issues because the legislative session is officially under way there a lot of issues that are being debated in Tallahassee that will actually impact your lives here in the state of Florida so we wanted to get some of those and of course during the course of the Senate trial we're gonna spend plenty of time on all of this but I do want to update you on where things stand today speaker Pelosi signed a house resolution to transmit the two articles of impeachment against president trump over to the Senate that followed the house approving resolution today appointing house managers for the impeachment trial representative Collin Peterson Democrat from Minnesota was the only Democrat to vote against the resolution the vote triggered the area representative came Jeffries representative Zoe Lofgren representative Jason crow and representative Sylvia Garcia I know hello see couldn't do this she had to include chef and Nadler among the house managers but it would have been much better if she didn't because they're just viewed in such a partisan light and you've got talented people bound Deming's she's gonna be good she's the former police chief of Orlando and she uses out during the hearing as well she did so you've got talented people that you could have handled this you don't need shift or Nadler because nobody's really gonna pay much attention to what they say there's just a view bait in about those two I can see where the mines take a step back from being doing the actual trial and maybe there is yeah behind the scenes manager that's how it should be I don't know you think shift is gonna take a step back from the cameras are now learn mom the with all the incoming that chef and never took from the president maybe plus he said like and I'll let you go over there behind a smart move I don't know if that's what's going to happen but still Lofgren she's been this is our third impeachment trial yeah you were mentioning this earlier she was a staffer during the Nixon Nixon and the run up to the Nixon impeachment was actually in peace okay and then she was in Congress on the house side when Clinton was impeached now she's one of the truck the the managers of the impeachment I'm sorry if you've been around for three if you were a staffer during Nixon you really still need to be in Washington DC well I think it goes to the depth chart the dancing clothes he was well yeah yes yes yes I'm looking at a trial of it you know fantasies over here yeah that's how I'm viewing rice really she was there for Nixon to still there but now that that makes total sense to have somebody like that we I kinda knowledge and experience on your house manager staff list in terms of what's next there's gonna be a few days a housekeeping and procedural work Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell is expected to hold the substantive part of the trial opening arguments in the queue in a period it's gonna hold that until Tuesday in order to give house managers and trump's defense team a couple of days to prepare on Tuesday the Senate is expected to vote on an organizing resolution the will lay out the terms for the trial it seems like they're going to model it very closely to what happened in the Clinton impeachment they always need a live witness issue yes which if they get the for Republicans across over right right then we'll see what happens then and also the the new reporting today is and how will the Democrats agree to a **** for tat as far as witnesses of they get right hold on yeah well they allow hunter Biden especially if they think under by it has nothing to hide you know we'll see how that plays out and let me get to that aspect several key Senate Republicans are insisting there be specific language in shoring of votes on whether to call witnesses and request documents not that witnesses and documents are allowed but just that there's a vote right on it aides to some vulnerable senators and moderate states including senator Susan Collins have said this language is crucial we know Susan Collins probably once witnesses and it sounds like Mitt Romney once that as well I've heard Lamar Alexander Makowski is always one to watch the numbers are close a democratic leadership aide told Axios that they will force votes on subpoenaing key witnesses such as trump's former national security adviser John Bolton acting chief of staff Mick Mulvaney Mulvaney senior adviser Robert Blair and top White House budget official Michael Duffy as well as relevant documents at the very least that will for some vulnerable Senate Republicans to cast tough votes lot of politics being played on both sides as to be expected some important numbers to remember Republicans would need fifty one votes to dismiss the case out right that's not gonna happen there's no way you're gonna have vulnerable Republicans like a Susan Collins vote to dismiss the case will not happen Democrats would need fifty one votes to call witnesses that's possible Republicans currently hold a fifty three forty seven majority in the Senate so Democrats would need for Republicans come over to their side to make the numbers work I think they think they have the votes I think they probably have the votes to at the very least John Paul at the very least I think you're gonna want to he he you're gonna have some Republicans are gonna want to hear from the former national security adviser one important note about today's resolution it gives managers authority to submit additional evidence that the Senate that's key because last night impeachment investigators at the house Judiciary Committee new evidence obtained from left partis Giuliani associate indicted by the Southern District of New York harness is gonna appear with Rachel Maddow Alan M. S. N. B. C. in a little bit and he basically says everything he did some of which was not good he did at the direction of the president Rudy Giuliani that's what he's gonna say tonight's in there there's a lot to one pack based on some of what we've learned about partners over the past couple of days so they're certainly going to be a back and forth and debate over what needs to be explored during the course of the Senate trial on the controversial decision by pelo C. to hold the impeachment articles for three weeks this is what she said on ABC's this week this past Sunday she said the tactic has produced a very positive results she said quote we feel that is produced a very positive result in terms of additional emails an unredacted information that's come forward Bolton has said he will testify if subpoenaed by the Senate I don't think the delay matters all that much in the big scheme of things you had much McConnell who held his ground he was not gonna be bullied by Nancy Pelosi should just didn't have the leverage some new information did come out including reselling the past couple of days although look this stuff it's not going to change the outcome of the trial the only thing that can really make this difficult for Republicans would be of John Bolton testified and have really really damaging information it also have John Bolton testify and he puts forth information favorable to the president and then it's a no brainer we don't know how that's going to go I think Bolton's announcement that he was willing to testify was the most important development that took place during the three weeks the pelo C. held the articles of impeachment what I go back to is the house were rushing through the impeachment process that was a mistake because now they have to push the Senate to do what they should have done I thought they went too fast if this was such a serious matter then you take your time and you do a thorough complete process instead they rushed through the articles of impeachment and then they kind of had to wait to see if more information will come out and then they learn one of the people they should of try to issue a subpoena for John Bolton he was maybe interested now in talking to the Senate it's it's just a mess and plus on top of this all it puts Senate Democrats running for president Elizabeth Warren Bernie Sanders in closure but some of the top spot she delayed this whole thing policy for three weeks and now at a crucial time for them right before the Iowa caucuses they're gonna be caught up in the Senate trial that's really at the end of the day that's where the biggest impact is the biggest impact is on the democratic primary and how it's gonna fact Iowa if I were those Senate Democrats I would not be thrilled with Nancy Pelosi at the moment your thoughts on the whole I hate you up to this point I have to disagree one thing is this notion that the investigation

"Alright here is that the the ten candidates who qualified for the debate obviously the qualifications are a mystery to everybody and that's something that tells you Gabbard was frustrated about yesterday when she was talking to Tucker on fox so here it is Joe Biden he's the the is the not the oldest guy but pretty darn close him in him and Bernie there the crusty old white guys that are tied in the polls a Joe was wealthier so you got Joe Biden Cory Booker he Spartacus jag he's the you know that guy at Julian Castro he's delusion all camallo Harris sorry camallo you've you blew your chance but she's fun to watch right Amy clovers sure Amy clover sure is Josh calming to listen to I mean her views to the ideology doesn't make sense but she's very calming I was listening to her speech on C. span last week she was giving some speech and she's just very relaxing she's very relaxing she's not angry and bitter like so much of the left has become Beto o'rourke now he's probably I think he is going to be the top bill is far as the comedy goes I think some of the other people be the opening act but when it comes to solid comedy you cannot touch Beto or Andrew **** Yang you can't touch of she got and your Yang Elizabeth Warren Bernie Sanders Beto o'rourke any clover shar camallo Harris Julian Castro people reject Cory Booker and Joe Biden so those are the ten for September twelfth the other thirty one fifty two or whatever I don't even know some of their names anymore but just so you know the top three polling Weiss they're all around twenty percent and this is a great way to remember it because the Democrats are young and energetic and hip and a very progressive forward thinking so it makes total sense that there are three top candidates are all at least seventy white and rich so just remember you got to Lizabeth warned who is younger than my parents so again Jake she's not here she's seventy sh Sanders is gonna be seventy six I think in ten days happy Happy Birthday Happy Birthday crazy Einstein and last but not least Joe

Meet the Press: The Lid
Elizabeth Warren, Bernie Sanders And Kamla Harrison Hulan Castro discussed on Meet the Press: The Lid
"It's been awhile since we've used this music but you know you gotta now. The reason we're using that music yet again is that we just went through the end of the second fundraising period for presidential candidates and if you're a longtime listener you know that at the end of the first fundraising quarter which was January to March that was a huge deal for us. We did many episodes of. The Lid about who's raising what's and I think we use that pink floyd song so often we almost had to resort to techno remixes just to keep things different this time I am still of course super jazzed about that all these numbers but they are not quite as big of a deal as they were three months ago. Here's why back in early April there was so much we just didn't know about the Democratic field who would boom or bust early did Bernie still have the juice could someone with little name I._D.. Breakout of the pack and the first quarter numbers all the way back three months ago help to answer at least some of those questions that Oh work posted did a huge number back in those days and he looked like a potential breakout star with a ton of cash in the bank to help him with that sent Bernie Sanders did well Elizabeth Warren was spending hand over fist and made a lot of people question. If her operation could last now we just have a lot more information from sources. That aren't the Federal Election Commission as much as we love our friends at the F._C._C.. We've got a ton more polling and we have the first set of debates under our belt and so the new fundraising numbers did more to confirm what we already suspected than to give us a ton of new information for example in the last few months we'd seen better will work crater leader in the polls and have disappointing debate performance so we expected a not quite Texas sized fundraising hall from Him and that's exactly what we saw in fact. He only raised about half as much in the last three months as he raised in his first. Stay as a candidate earlier this year. We've also Seen Elizabeth Warren climbing in the polls and she posted a strong fundraising hall that reflects that narrative to and after a strong debate review for both Kamla Harrison Hulan Castro we saw them get a little bit of a bump. After a strong debate review for both Kamala Harris and Hulan Castro we saw them get a corresponding bump in cash raised as well and maybe the biggest story of this quarter other than beddoes cratering Pete Pete Buddha judge had a monster fundraising number which kind of confirmed with the rest of the data out there was telling us that he had surpassed a work as a favorite new young comer on the scene now don't despair if you're hungering for more. We're on all of this because shameless plug number one. There's a lot more info on all these numbers coming out you on this week's episode of Chuck Todd Cast from meet the press which is guest hosted by shameless plug number to me so.
