"I'm calling Lindstrom. That's Bradley trainer. Yes, it is. It is and you may have noticed. We are not really pulling any April Fool's Day pranks on the culture and Bradley Show what we know better. We learned our lesson the hard way. But I'm always curious. Does. It seems to me there are some people who get really into the pranking and also enjoy the pranking. Here's the fatal flaw with pranking. What is it? Then? You will be pranked True. This is true. You will get you do it, And we got to get revenge on you at some point the tape. That's why I, you know, want to constantly scare the bejeebers out of you. I know you'll return the favor 6516411071. Are you in this same almost in ST Patrick's Day? Are you in April Fool's Day or not so much? I'm just curious. And if so, why I will say yesterday Bradley did scare the bejeebers out of me. Went to the restroom and I came back to my studio were in separate studios because Okay? And open up the door. And Bradley trainer was just sitting in a chair in the corner, and I It's scared. Proposed nothing that you know what Adam and I didn't like. Oh, boo. I just sat there It was Scary. It doesn't sound scary, but I'm an easy scare 6516411. I'm just scary. I mean, come on 100%. Are you into April fools or not so much now, Bradley. I didn't make mention of the fact that we no longer Engage in April Fool's Day pranks. That is correct, because I really think we went out with a literal bang the one and only time we did one well, and we are almost cost us her job. Or at least we thought it almost cost us our job. I actually think it cost us Hard, more dearly than we truly realized because we're too busy worrying about the wrong thing. Meaning I'm gonna need you to explain that whole thing so Um Came into contact with a bag of or a box of fart bags now back it up because they were showcased on an episode of Here comes honey boo boo. Little Alana. From here comes honey Boo boo. Um Launched one of these fart bags. It's basically like it looks like a like a baseball, You know? What do you call this baseball cards like a little cellophane package and you take it and you step on it, Something will pop. And that will release gas, which fills up the bag over time. It's like a delayed time release experience. And, you know, 30 seconds a couple minutes later. Whatever it was, it'll pop so you can set it. And forget it and get the heck out of there. And then it'll go off. Well, I was like, Hey, Colleen. I got I bought a box of fart bags. Just like honey. Boo Boo. Because we're watching that show with the time, right? Mm hmm. And if I remember correctly, my first thought was that we should do something to Laurie and Julia. That was your first thought, and we, luckily were like, Well, maybe that seems like a bad idea. Also Um, we wouldn't really be able to talk about it after the fact right if it was on Laurie and Julia show, because then our show would already be over. So we picked is our target. Marjorie and Elizabeth Reese, who had a show before us where Don and Steve currently are. So we decided to To launch the fart bag on them in the studio. During their show, and we did it under the guise of bringing them coffee. Now, Holly, did you actually find the audio? I have that. Oh, my gosh. Do he has the audio? Let's just play it and then we'll talk about how it all went arrives was April Fools like 100 years ago. I was trying to remember how many years ago with this event. Well, it would have been five years ago. Well, I would have been. It was before I worked here. Elizabeth Police told us the other day because she was pregnant with her baby, Bernie. And several birds before Holly and Bernie. I think it's five or six. So it's been five or six years. Okay, So here we go. Beckett. Wait a second. What? It's April Fool's Day. You didn't take a sip of this coffee. Did you enjoy your coffee? Okay. What's in the coffee? Think it's coffee? Okay, what is in the copy? You sent this first cause I don't trust Bradley's got a very devious look on his face. I have no right to use the restroom. Okay. If something happens to me in about an hour because of this coffee, I'm gonna know it's you. You're fine. You're fine. Calm down. You guys there seeming a little suspicious. I know. Look at that Looks amazing. You coffee? Something good tomorrow, Okay, It's not Colleen. It's Bradley, who has suspicious off. I know Well, it is time for us. It's April Fool's Day, but it's also time for a rumor has.

"K G O traffic, I'm Alan Brooks. This is the Ron Owens report on geo eight ten the voice of reason in the bay area for forty three years now Ron Owens today. We talk politics with the legendary gorgeous. Political experts Elizabeth through Elizabeth police came out on Friday. That's kinda scary. It says point blank most people in this country are thinking the country is headed in the wrong direction. I would presume you agree on that. I don't think we're very good direction right now. No. But well, I don't own a gentleman's bet direction because your Representative Pelosi, you know, halted the president in his headlong flight in a fantasy land. So let's see we start to change pretty soon. Let's talk a bit about that. I mean, the president it's widely reported the president really lost on this. I don't think he can spend it any other way. Why would he do something like this? I mean, the idea of putting eight hundred thousand people out of work because he promised a wall that nobody wants and won't work. Why understand a few things this long actually don't have enough time? But he doesn't appreciate the government programs are government workers. They're relevant to him. He was in a you know, he's supposed to be the a big bully. And of course, bullies your cowards. A lot of the time and he just wanted to win. So he had that meeting with Nancy and Chuck as he calls them last December. And he said also, you shut down the government, and Chuck humor could hardly keep from bursting out laughing because he realized that Trump had made a terrible blunder because people don't like the person who's held responsible for a shutdown. So he was kinda stuck then miss Liffey. The speaker now held her side together very closely. She was she they were. She held them together and the Republicans began to get panicked because people especially Washington, don't understand the federal workers are all over the country. And so the laws in Alaska, which has Republican Senator or has they're all over the place. And so Republicans began to get upset because it's not just as you know, wrong. It's not just the government workers. But it's all these contractors who are not bowling. There are people who serve or the cafeterias and clean the buildings and guard the doors they're on federal contracts, but they're not government employees, but they were out too. So you couple of million people bothered by this. Then you got the planes. Leo. That was what I was gonna say the airlines. I mean that that was between the air traffic controllers in the long waits at TSA people weren't gonna put up with that for long. We're going to put up with that in a moment. People weren't going to put up with that were members of congress who go home every weekend. And so they were getting very restive. See I've never bought this idea that they are totally glued to Trump when he becomes too big a problem or not so good to him as it turns out. And so they were complaining, and apparently what really broke Trump was Mitch McConnell who kind of stayed out of it. Hold him up and said, yeah, we're losing this thing our party is losing this thing. And you're gonna lose Republican senators if you don't not this three soon, so he gave up he gave up the point is he said he lifted the shutdown and he got nothing for it. He had insisted that day he had to have some miles of his wall. The law changing, it could be steel spires. Now, it could be I say give them a butterfly net and call it a wall. I don't care. He I don't think he cares as long as you can call it a wall. And I think in the semantic because we're the solution is gonna be I think the deal is possible. Get too technical. But what are the wall? You really do think these three weeks so solidify it, I think it's doable. Oh, it depends on how technical Trump is going to allow other people to define it. I mean to Ann Coulter and Rush Limbaugh won't be a wall unless as a sixty foot high cement wall, but it's not going to be that and Trump even hinted that in his statement on Friday, he us ways to define this thing. So I yeah, I think a solution is in there. He cannot go back to another shutdown. That's been proven a political. Loser. Didn't mention polls. We're going down fairly rapidly. He's in the thirties now. That's right. And he's he's all time low, and it wasn't getting any better. So he had to get out of that. And I don't think he can go back in. And I think that that's silly for something. Like colleagues have interpreted what the temporary of staff said I saw him swallow hard as well. Yeah. But they can't do another shutdown. So he's rather stuck. We're talking with political expert Elizabeth through Elizabeth as much as you, and I have. A similar distaste for our president. There are times when things happen that you kinda scratch your head. The Roger stone thing bothers me. I hate to say I'd agree with him because he guy seems like a nut cake and having a what is a tattoo of Nixon on his back. But I mean, why did you need twenty six federal agents at a swat team to get this guy to do is say show up and the idea that this was given time to hide stuff. He had months to hide it. What was behind that? He had most hide it. But Roger is. I he's rather. I don't wanna use the arrogant, but he's pleased himself, and he was still corresponding with people he was still trying to use a code. And so there was a relatively recent material. So they tend to do these rage early in the morning. So that people are, you know, asleep? They're not kick can't run and get their gun. They can't be a flight risk. They're they're they're not likely to have guests. I was questioned at first to wrong, but I became convinced. When I listen to some experts this morning that this is the way to do it. It'd be sure that you get all of the bits here. They don't try to erase anything. Yeah. But he knew that they were going to have at some point trying indict him or actually indict him. So if he was going to get rid of material he could have done it any time. Well, that means he had to do it every day. And I suspect he didn't do that. What do you make of the whole thing? I mean has he done something he insists I was rather amazed? When I watched on TV, I guess it was Friday night. And he was an all the talk shows name is giving his side that normally never happens either. He's alter cocky or else the guys in for a big rude awakening. I did see what was it. Get me Roger stone. I saw that movie. And it was hoof. He's an interesting guy who put it that way. Like to see that. I haven't seen that hope I can still find it. He is he's clever. He's quite quite clever. I've always thought that he was in this 'cause on you wouldn't be able to stay out of it. There's wondering interesting angle on this Ron might consider it occurred to me this morning. And that is that Roger was a victim of one of many many victims of Trump's inability to be loyal both ways. He demands total loyalty, but it doesn't give a lot of it except to his own family. So Roger was dumped minute advisor didn't Trump for a long time. And he does schinder early to run for president. So Roger and another guy where you can by Trump in twenty fifteen so he has to sit there now, I'm sure he's already done this as well. Am I going to get a pardon from this guy? I don't know that I'm going to and she going to be as loyal to me is he's demanded that I beat him. So he could turn on any. Apparently does have some interesting information. We'll have the new law firm in that case. We'll call it stone and cone how about that. There you go. Elizabeth always great getting your opinions. I will do. So we've been talking with legendary political analyst Elizabeth.

"This is the Ron Owens report on geo eight ten the voice of reason in the bay area for forty three years now today, we talk politics with the legendary gorgeous political experts Elizabeth through Elizabeth police came out on Friday. That's kind of scary. It says point blank most people in this country are thinking the country is headed in the wrong direction. I would presume you agree on that. I don't think we're at a very good direction right now. No. But well, I don't I want a gentleman's met direction because your Representative Pelosi, you know, halted the president in his headlong flight in a fantasy land. So let's see who you may start to change pretty soon. Well, let's talk a bit about that. I mean, the president it's widely reported the president really lost on this. I don't think you can spend it any other way. Why would he do something like this? I mean, the idea of putting eight hundred thousand people out of work because he promised a wall that nobody wants and won't work. Why? Understand a few things. This this long actually, we don't have enough time. But he doesn't appreciate the government programs are government workers. They're relevant to him. He was in a you know, he's he's a big bully. And of course, bullies your cowards. A lot of the time and he just wanted to win. So remember he had that meeting with Nancy and Chuck as he calls them last December. And he said also you also down the government, and Chuck humor could hardly keep from bursting out laughing because he realized that Trump had made a terrible blunder because people don't like the person who's held responsible for shutdown. So he was kinda stuck then miss Pelosi speaker now held her side together very closely. She was she they were. Split opinions, but she held them together and began to get panic because people especially Washington, don't understand the federal workers are all over the country. And so the long in Alaska, which has Republican Senator or has there all over the place and so Republicans began to get upset because it's not just as, you know, Ron it's not just the government workers. But it's all these contractors. So who are not bowling there? People who serve the cafeterias in clean, the buildings in guard the doors there are several contracts, but they're not government employees, but they were out to. So you couple of million people be bothered by this and you had the planes. The that was what I was gonna say the the airlines I mean that was between the air traffic controllers and the long waits at TSA people weren't going to put up with that for long people are going to put up with that in a moment. People weren't going to put up with that were members of congress who go home every week. And so they re Republicans forgetting very restive. See I've never bought this idea that they are totally glued to Trump when he becomes too big a problem. They're not so good to miss. It turns out, and so they were complaining, and apparently what really broke Trump was Mitch McConnell who kind of stayed out of it hold him up and said, you know, we're losing this thing our party is losing this thing. And you're gonna lose Republican senators if you don't stop this three soon, so he gave up he gave up the point is he said he lifted the shutdown and he got nothing for it. He had insisted that he had to have some miles of his wall. The law changing, it could be steel spires. Now, it could be I say give them a butterfly net and call it a wall. I don't care. I don't think he cares as long as you can call it a wall. And I think in the semantic because we're the solution is gonna be I think the deal is possible. Get too technical that what are the wall? You really do think these three weeks so solidify it? I think it's doable. Oh, it depends on how technical Trump is going to allow other people to define it means a Ann Coulter. And Rush Limbaugh won't be a wall unless as a sixty foot high cement wall, but it's not going to be that and Trump even hinted that in his statement on Friday, he showed us the way to define this thing. So I actually should is in there. He cannot go back to another shutdown. That's been proven a political. Loser did mention polls were going down fairly rapidly. He's in the thirties. Now. That's right. And he's near his all time low, and it wasn't getting any better. So we had to get out of that. And I don't think he can go back in. And I think that that's silly. For of my colleagues have interpreted what the temporary chief of staff said I saw him swallow hard as well. Yeah. But they can't do another shutdown. So he's rather stuck. We're talking with political expert Elizabeth through Elizabeth as much as you, and I have a similar distaste. For our president. There are times when things happen that you kinda scratch your head.
