"Could develop him into a starting quarterback. Already without further ado enough ready to do Let's get to the closing bell. Another day is in the books and we're taking stock of the sports world. It's time to find out who's up. Who's down Let's end the day right and hit the closing bell on Lee on the sack, Gilbert show Let me start off with protecting your young quarterback. A lot of people try to go with the sexy headlines. Take a wide receiver. I like when someone beefs up their offensive line. That's what the Chargers did. Sean Slater going to protect Justin Herbert last night was the 13th overall pick in the draft and they get a corner as well. Asante Samuel Jr with the second round pick 15 pick in the second round, give US stock up to the first two picks. For the Chargers, led by their head coach. Brendan's telling them their GM Tom Telesco. I got to give praise to the Jets. The Jets are an organization. I'm not telling you. What they're doing is going 2000% work, but they have a plan and they're moving in the right direction of a popular GM. They have a popular head coach. They get what they think is their franchise quarterback. They have a ton of picks and this draft next draft in the year. After that, you also got Elijah Vera Tucker at the USC. They traded up to get him and they take with the second overall pick in the second round tonight. Elijah Moore, the wide receiver out of Ole Miss good job so far by the Jets to me that the winners of the draft so far Re GM's that I usually give stock down still. Ryan Pace. Howie Roseman and Dave Gettleman. Like what The Bears have done going to get Justin Fields I like with the Eagles did moving back getting a first round pick that moving up on Lee having to surrender a third round pick and getting Don't fuck they, Smith. When I led Bama Now about the Giants. It picked up an extra first bears come up to 11. They get Justin Fields, and then they did get canaries Tony last night. Nice job by those three G. M's all who probably should be fired by now, but they did a nice job in the first round stock up. Cookie Monster. Mack Jones Patriots franchise quarterback 15th Overall pick Lovett stock up. Kyle Shanahan. Whether it was true or not on who we love first he played us all. Is the majority of us. Not that the third overall pick was gonna be Mack Jones, and it wasn't not many secrets happen in this world anymore. Kyle Shanahan actually had a secret stock up Kyle Shanahan..

"Talk faster goodell. Talk faster come on. You can do it. You can do it. Elijah something something they have. It rolled it over over rollet marlet. They're still trying to figure out the name. It's selection draft at selection elijah vera. Tucker ago but no oh they legit. It's still selection on telev- why is his picture like that. We're having some technical problems on the espn v. That the law. I like the one dude. Like peeking peeking in the window behind them. That's that's great anyway. Back to tim o. Back to tim tebow. So he's like. I worked out with the jaguars. I wanna come back and play football. And they're like everyone's like oh my god that's great that's awesome. That's wonderful you for you. And aaron rodgers decided he was not going to be outdone and he wanted the attention solely on him so for whatever reason aaron rodgers decided to just lose his shit today or at least like public irs about him lost day publicly announced that he's losing his mind in in green bay and basically he stated or it got leaked in. I think he came out and said it though he has not said sources close to him and been saying everything yes. Oh he's not come out and said anything thank you. I'm not sure what the chain of events were. Basically somebody said to the press that aaron rodgers. Just not want to return to green bay. He he told the packers he wants out. he's done. He wants out after last season. He's tired of being disrespected. He wants to go somewhere else. Extend me or trade me either way and guess what. Don't accent me. i'm not come back. Yeah and there were rumors about this at the end of last season. Which it's like you know they've setting up sitting pretty but they haven't really drafted anybody to help him. They haven't really tried to build a team as it were. They've kind of made some really weird picks over the last few years for the packers and they're sort of resting everything on him and errands almost forty and he needs people to be able to catch the ball for him and run the ball for him in that kind of thing and they just don't have that like the packers are good but they're not as good as they could be better. Basically they said on television tonight the last two playmakers. They've drafted have been our rogers. And what. what's the name jordan. Love yup in the first round two quarterbacks so you know what that means yeah and basically everybody's comparing it to brett farr which is fair because brett farve kind of did a similar situation. Except he's sort of retired at to get out of his contract and then he went to the vikings he just like peacedale. Did he retire. I think that's how that went. I think he retired. He faked retirement. I think yeah. He faced retirement to get out of his contract with green bay and then he came back for the vikings because there was a whole like scandal about it he got traded to the jets retired from the jets and came back to my kids but there was still a whole scandal about it because everybody was pissed to know he retired with the jets out of his contract with the jets that with the packers just clarifying teams but said he just. Let's just giving giving specifics twelve. i'm here for. we've another. pick.

"The Bears came charging up to 11 to nab Ohio State QB Justin Fields while yes, Mag Jones lasted until the Patriots at number 15 after taking Zach Wilson second, those Jets move from 23 to 13. Get him some protection in USC guard Elijah Vera Tucker. Now all things considered. The draft was going as planned, at least in terms of the names announced at the podium. Until the Raiders at number 17, where the 17th pick in the 2021 NFL draft. Las Vegas Raiders Select Alex Leatherwood. Tackled Alabama the silence behind the announcement that the sounds of the NFL network stage, I think also explained that confusion of this one Ah leatherwood, the most surprising of the record tying six Bama players selected around one last night, The Saints pulled their own surprise number 28 with Houston defensive end Peyton Turner and the Packers used the following selection on Georgia corner Eric Stokes. They could have went with somebody like old Miss receiver Elijah Moore to maybe Make Aaron Rodgers slightly less unhappy, but Nope. GM Brian Good, A Coon said late last night. They do not intend to train Rogers, who has reportedly told some within the organization that he wants out. We also had Tim Tebow attention grabbing yesterday, he apparently requested a workout and got one from the Jaguars and old friend Urban Meyer Tebow working out at tight end His last NFL game was 2012. Other sports were happening last night like basketball and used him. Pull back three Kevin Porter Jr. You can't he may knocks it down in the face of Drew holiday. Get.

"The Cowboys trading down two spots. Well, they picked the 12 overall and help that Dallas D. How about them doubles? Yes, with dropping In the 2021. Then if I'll drive the Dallas Cowboys, like Michael Parsons wound back of his state. Yes, that's unique burden on US Army veteran and social worker and Dallas pumped of up about her boys landing the Penn State linebacker 12th. Overall, they traded down two spots landed a third round pick 84th overall along the way as well. Bart Scott on how that helps the Dallas D. One of the most awkward things Bart is for the Folks that are at home watching and seeing someone draft what looks like their heir apparent who should feel concerned on the Cowboys that they just took Michael Parsons. I think Vander is right because you think you know that Dan Quinn loves candle, Neil Cattle kneels before all the things I know any sign like a one year deal, but he was with them in Atlanta. But also now bander is hasn't been ever stay healthy. So now you have somebody that can fill in because really, most of the time you're on the field is gonna be it and suppositions. So if I'm Jalen Brown, I'm like, Oh, man, I didn't have a great year last year. I'm making a lot of money. I better tighten my game up because they just pretty much hired somebody that can. That is a cheaper version of myself. You know, so yourself sometimes. Bitter. Sweet, right? I could remember tomorrow. David's been drafted, like, okay. I know it ain't for David Harris. I know pretending for me. Remember too far is good in from Miami coming in there, and they try to replace me. That's what that's what it's all about Holding the guys off. No to make because as you get more expensive, and you get older, become expendable. I'm back to back off offensive line and where the next two picks the Chargers get response later, the offensive tackle out of Northwestern Jets trade up to nab a versatile offensive lineman who could start a guard from day one and Elijah Vera Tucker out of it. USC that puts us at 15 with a New England Patriots. Well, they needed a quarterback of the future and a certain Crimson tide signal caller just happened to be there. With the 15th pick. In the 2021 NFL draft. The six time world champion New England Patriots Select Mack Jones So that your landing spot to the Patriots and Bill Bell a check for the Crimson Tide signal caller, Mack Jones. He spoke on his new home with Suzy Kolber. What was the roller coaster like tonight? I mean, it was fine. I mean, you just sit around and wait and I'm just so blessed to be a part of a great organization. Like I said, and you know, it's It's not really where you get picked. It's what you do with the opportunity and that's what good's saving told me. So I'm just gonna follow that dream filled when you were seven year olds actually illustrated a photo and wrote when I grow up And it's this moment in the NFL. What does it mean to fulfill a dream that big? That's awesome. I mean, along the way, A lot of people are gonna tell you can't do something. You just got to keep pushing, but you know, we're just getting started. So I'm looking forward to playing in the NFL, and it's gonna be awesome. So I'm blessed his college coach,.

"Linemen. USC six FT. 4 £315 Vera Tucker was a first team all Pac 12 tackle at USC, but most believe he translates to guard in the NFL. He won the Morris Trophy Award. So the Jets move up in the draft, and they take Elijah Vera Tucker, the guard out of USC. Been you got some Mac Jones is gonna be the next pick to the New England Patriots. I guarantee it they were. They've been eyeballing this the entire time. He was the guy they liked as the third quarterback on their boards, so it will be the big drops right in their lap. Duty a stand patient. Let the draft come to you. Which Over the years. Not only is Bill Belichick famous for that he's famous for trading back so he didn't have to trade back. You didn't have to move on different fact, Ben is right. Mac Jones. Would make sense because New England mean if you look at Cam Newton last year, um and I give Cam a bit of a pass because of covert and everything that was going on, But that offense was horrible. It was one of the worst offenses that we've seen. With the Patriots, and by the way the Patriots pick is in now and we'll hear from Commissioner Goodell. But it would. It would stand to reason that with Mack Jones there That the Patriots would go ahead and jump in. Well, the thing that you you you kind of say this is a perfect pick, because when you look at the relationship, okay, you gotta look at the two men that a leading these two organizations sometimes it's not just the players. Sometimes it's the fit. Right. And you look at Nick save in and by the way, who used to work for Bill Belichick. Okay, you looking like that? You look at Nick Saban. And then you look at Bill Belichick. They're cut from the same piece of cloth. Okay, This is probably the most perfect fit off any of the quarterbacks in this league. Excuse me in this in this NFL draft is going to play in this league next year. Patriots have struggled a bit recently in the draft. They have since 2015 they've drafted Either 52 or 53 players. One of those draft choices has made the Pro Bowl so they have not been in again. They've been winning championships right there, eh? So they've been drafting at the bottom of Virtually every NFL draft, But yet they haven't They haven't had a lot of success in terms of their draft choices, becoming the kind of players that eventually play. In the Pro Bowl and again here's Roger Goodell with New England Patriots pick.

"I thought I was gonna be. I'll say that yeah, and makes and makes the makes The bears look like they overpaid a little bit. But you overpaid for the context of who? The Who? The players you're moving up for. Yep. On DNO because the Jets of the team that moved up here the door's wide open for the Patriots to pick Mack Jones of 15. If that's who they want to go with, and I think Would predict that's what they're gonna do. I think the next two picks they're going to be the Jets taking the linebacker here and then New England is going to take Matt Jones. And if you told me that the beginning of the day, the New England's gonna end up with Mac Jones, I would've signed on the dotted line. I think I would have to. He's a good quarterback prospect. I think he is getting I think he's become underrated because of how much I think it got over inflated because everyone was talking about him in the context of being the third overall pick, which he was not deserving of, But I do think he's a first round candidate. I think Matt Waldman from Ricky Scouting portfolio is one guy that really Really, I thought was very smart on Matt Jones that like he's very technical. He's got great command of the offense. He's accurate. He does have a bigger arm and you would think, But I was very afraid of the Patriots ending up with Justin Fields or Trey Lance at the beginning of today, and for them to be sitting here and looking at Mac Jones. That's a win for the rest of the FCS. Yeah, from the sounds of it. It sounds like it's Elijah. Very Tucker here for the new For the New York Jets at number 14. They get the top interior offensive lineman in the draft, and I just wonder. You know, trading up and moving those picks when you probably could have gotten a starting caliber tackle in the second round. Um and you could have taken running back at 23. You could have taken another starting caliber tackle. A 23 moved back at yourself a starting caliber guard in the second or third round with Creed. Humphrey. Orlando Dickerson. I don't I don't This is a large very Tucker was by far the best interior offensive lineman in this draft. Um Okay, so they get 1 43, so the Jets actually end up trading 23. What are the Vikings doing? They traded down nine spots for a third order. They got to two thirds. That Zoe, That sounds actually a little bit better for the for the Jets. I don't like that for the Vikings at all. I don't see that. I don't really see the you go to nine spots for two third round picks. That's that's a head scratcher. I mean, it's not. It's not nothing but I would have made that trade. If I were in Minnesota. They just must must not have liked anybody that was on the board for them. I don't know what Minnesota was really looking for in terms of their needs, but You know, not not that bad for the Jets if they're only coming up to third round picks. Yeah, and safety should have been an interesting part of the I think defensive back. Maybe the Jets would have liked the defensive back in this position. Maybe they would have liked edge. But listen, I think at the end of the day, any time you can get the drafts top interior offensive lineman to match up on the left side with Mukai Bactine. I mean, they've got a really nice left side of that offensive line in New York. Now for Zach Wilson. The question is, Can they get the weapon for Zach Wilson in the second round, which will talk about? I'm sure at some point tonight, but we'll have lots of time tomorrow to talk about, Um, for the Jets, you know, can they surround Zach Wilson? And I think we're about ready to, uh, to bring you this pig. So what? We'll get a ding here in a moment when the pick is up. Roger Goodell's walking up on the stage but hugging a lot of players. Dr. Huggins back's been vaccinated. The Michael Parsons hug was definitely the most awkward so far. Right, and the Jets are up to the New York Jets. With the 14th pick in the 2021 NFL draft. The New York Jets select Elijah Vera Tucker. Lord. USC. So it's official. The Jets take us sees Elijah Vera Tucker and you know, as we've been kind of talking about the best interior offensive lineman in this draft, um and you know, I think if you're the Jets, you've got to feel really good about what you've been able to accomplish in two years since Joe Douglas has taken over for the general manager. Obviously this offseason, they go out to get Carl loss and I really liked what they did going out and getting Corey Davis to match with memes and some of the other pieces they have in that offense, and we'll see if this is enough to really say Round him with the talent needs. I'm those third round picks when you look back could have likely been used on a another offensive lineman. Other starting caliber offensive lineman somebody on the right side of that offensive line for the Jets. Maybe that's Running back. Maybe that's a wide receiver. Maybe that's one of these tight ends. Brevin Jordan. Maybe that's Tommy tremble s O you know, thinking about how much the Jets gave up. I think it's a good trade for the Jets, but I think you know they need pieces. So I don't really love the trade up for the Jets. For from the perspective that I think they just need a lot of things, including defense than in more offensive linemen. They need weapons. Need running back, So you know, it's a good It's a good overall pick for the Jets, but I think they paid a pretty heavy price for it. I think this pick has some impact on the bills that I'm thinking off. There was that rumor. I'm not sure how much I want to believe it. But that rumor from Todd McShay earlier in the week that the bills were looking to move up ahead of the Jets, the Steelers, the Jaguars and the Jets. For Travis et on the running back. And because the Jets are moving up here for a guard there, obviously now out of that game for the first round running back, everyone is saying that nausea Harris is going to be the guy for Pittsburgh at 24. I think Jacksonville is in play for Travis Ctn. That's 25. I think I don't get it. I think that is a super sneaky in play pick for Jackson, right? I don't know if I would wanna bet on it. That would be the one team. Between here and buffalo. That would go Travis Ctn, but otherwise the Jets moving out there, I think clears the way for the bills to pick Travis ET and a 30 if they want to do that. Could be a surprise team here. Arizona's up next and it's a little early for ET en and they did decide James Connor, but James Connor and Chase Edmunds said Connor isn't stop it. James Connor, Timmy is what Matt Brita is for the bills. It's not stopping you from doing anything, and we obviously have New England up on the board here and with the 15th overall pick, I think every sign is pointing to Mack Jones. For this pick the Patriots end up stand standing Pat. They don't move up for one of the quarterbacks, and they end up getting one of the top five guys to sort of fall to them at 15. Obviously, for all of us here, we were really hoping that Justin Fields didn't follow the spot, and luckily for bills fans tonight for the purposes of our sanity. Um, that didn't happen. The Chicago Bears they traded up. They treated the 2022 1st round pick and the 20th overall pick to move up for that Justin Fields picking 11, But I should move aside now because it looks like we've got our man Roger Goodell, who is announcing the 15th overall pick from the New England Patriots. With food insecurity, a challenge for.

"If they go running back well, I'll tell you this terrible. It would be terrible. There's there's a possibility later on here in this first round that we see one of the teams whether it be the Buffalo bills. That's functionally potentially snatched up and buffalo doesn't that's fine because they have a complete roster. The keys a little bit more extra help on defense, but I'll trust Sean McDermott. I agree. The Buffalo takes a running back. That's fine because they don't have a lot of other needs. And you could add an explosive weapon similar to what Kansas City did last year. When they got Clyde Edwards alert. You have a roster that's ready and can city case They already won bills in the A F C championship game ah, year ago where they did lose to the Chiefs. So a team like Buffalo makes sense. Steelers also could be play and play for running back. They need it if you're bringing back big bed, but they also need an offensive lineman helped, too, because that offensive line is totally different than what we saw last year. Yeah, No. Well, Ben Rafel is Burger man. Ask his elbow, ask his knees what they need he needs. He needs protection. Like you said. He needs someone to hand the ball off, too, so he doesn't have to throw it around 50 times a game. So Yeah, there's there's value in the running back late in the case of the New York Jets, who are up here on the clock. This is ah, This is a new regime. This is a new head coach. You you, You have no idea what they're going to do. They could go anywhere. It's almost a crapshoot. And we don't know exactly what the details were What the Jets have to give up to get to 14. But entering tonight they had 13 picks. In the first three rounds of the next three drafts, and they had five first round picks in the next three years. One of the Marty used on Zach Wilson, We'll see what happens in two first round picks this year what the Jets end up doing at 14, but this has got to be. I know that you don't want to count your chickens before they hatch and you have been someone that you've been your heart's been broken for so many years. But I'm kind of I'm not telling the Jets are definitely moving in the right direction. But I'm seeing a plan here, which I did not see under Adam Gaze. You have solid who wanted to be there didn't have take the job could went elsewhere. You also now have Joe Douglas. That's the biggest piece in solving this puzzle because he's in control of all these draft picks. Last You got backed in last you got Denzel Memes mother in that, you know nothing else to grate. It boils down to competent management. It bulls down to respect It doesn't matter what team it is. You think about the people who are running it at the top. You could think about an owner just all across sports. People don't necessarily look at the Johnson family, and in high regard, I can go to another team. You know Robert Sarver with the Phoenix Suns. People don't look at him in high regard. But you think about the talent that you have out there. You think about the management that helps get it into a solid space and Robert Sala is one of the most respected and has been one of the most respected coaches in the league here for years, and what the New York Jets have needed. Is someone who can be respected. Adam Gates was just a joke. And so now you have quite the opposite. You have two men and Douglas and Sala who are respected, and that follows along with the players. You can think about New York as well. I mean, you got a coach of the New York Knicks right now who people actually respect. So here in the NFL? Without actually cracking heads and skulls. That goes a long way. I got the details for you wanna hear him? Shoot. All right, so the Jets ended up getting the 14th pick. They also got 1/5 round pick back Minnesota got the 23rd overall pick which belonged to the Jets. That was their 2nd 1st round pick of the draft. And the Jets also had to give up to third round picks to Minnesota. So you have a lot of draft capital. It's clearly someone that they love here at 14 that thought that they that they were going to get off the board and let's find out who the Jets were taken right now. The Minnesota Vikings have traded the 14th pick to the New York Jets with the 14th pick in the 2021 NFL draft. The New York Jets Select Elijah Vera Tucker guard. USC.

"Pick in the draft is gonna fall to doing all the way at 15. That's really remarkable. Who do you first see, though, the Jets deciding to move up and take this could be offensive. Very Tucker order. Shaw. Who do you like best? I like very Tucker is a slightly more versatile player. I like both them a lot, though. I think they're both frontline starters. You look at bear Tucker. I mean, he's a guard that could play a tackles. Well, 65 £305 out of USC, Dara Saul's. He's a soft smoking kid at from Virginia Tech. You just know immediately. He's a dude left tackle. Shut it down. We don't have to worry again. The biggest key in the biggest storyline with this trade is You got to protect the franchise quarterback have to you have to and you know they're going to be addressing some or needs. They have 34 as well. It'd be interesting to see what this cost them to move up with nine spots. Because they have 10 picks in his draft, and I'd be interested to see what they have to use Tol kind of ammunition out of used to move up. But I have been told that they if they're player fell between 14 and 15, and they would move up and get him in. You know those insider kind of tips where were true? He will join Mukai Beckton, who had a fantastic season. He's a guy that is certainly, you know, gonna really help anchor that offensive line. I do want to go back, though, to the pick that we just saw because I know you're really excited about response later. Think that he is is it's interesting because it felt like Panay School was just like leaps and bounds better, but he grated right on par with him as well. Slater is not as big and we do have information before we get to him that the Jets will receive The get the 14th pick right now In 1/4 rounder at 1 43. The Vikings get number 23 later in the first round, third round picks which are 66 86. So they gave up some that some assets to move up here to get a difference Maker on the offensive line back to the offensive line with Slater again 64 £308 little undersized, The one thing that stood out anybody will tell you Especially scouts breaking down tape because he opted out last year's what he did against Chase Young. That's how you match up right. Chase. Young went number two last year in the draft. But Slater is one of those guys that he's not gonna bull rush you. He's gonna beat you on angles. And you say yes, Like, what does that mean and beating you on angles As an offensive lineman. You always have you. That's what football is all about. Stand inside out, making sure that you're able to anchor. It's all about geometry, right, making sure that you're underneath inside hand wins. Make sure that you're underneath your helmet's Lord in their helmet, and it's all about being ever do that. He doesn't it. It looks like it's something that's easy to do, but it's something that's very difficult to do. As you have defenders that's always trying to change their inside leverage outside leverage. You have to stay patient with inside. He's he stays patient. He's violent. He has a strong punch, and he's super athletic. He has a bit of a main street. And you, you look at the family. Also, his dad played the MBA for a lot of years. He comes from an athletic family and talking to Northwestern coach Pat Fitzgerald last week about him, he said, quote. He's a high level athlete with a relentless work ethic, and he looks like he's floating in pass protection. And he's an amazing team made that I nicknamed Clark Kent. I'm like, Why'd you nickname in Clark Kent? He said. You go in the weight room. He's got these goofy rec spec looking glasses on. And on the back of his on his shoulders of the squad rack. He's throwing up a damn house and his teammates are all going crazy looking at that Superman strength, but he looks like a nerd, and I talked to one NFL scout, he said. Just turn on the Ohio State tape. Kevin, You just referenced this. When NFL scouts said he took Chase Young's heart go back and watching the second half where Chase Young lined up It was on the other side of Slater made the actually made Ohio State moving to the other side bets. That's exactly right. He played great, not game. That's when he got on the national stage. He was, in effect, really? "A player that you wanted to go get. So let's say like an Elijah Vera Tucker falls into the mid teens, and you're a 23. If you really loved him. What would you be willing to give up to go get a guy like that? Or is this draft deep enough on the offensive line that you still feel like you got a good one? If you set a 23 Yeah, you know, Ordinarily I would want to go up very Tucker's a really interesting player, Bob. But With the death of that position and knowing that I want to get a couple other things as I can in the stress this would private here. I wouldn't want to do that. If I was the Jets knowing that, Hey, there's maybe three offensive line and they're in the next six spots. That's you know, the castle is you have to make on the clock or when it's within striking distance, and my gut would be the state put this year. What do you think the giant stuff? These fascinating, I think, 10 11 12 really interesting, And here's why it's Dallas. It's the Giants and it's Philly to me have very similar needs, and I think they need a pressure plate in the front seven. I think that you use another quarter even though they added a jury. Jackson so We'll see. Somebody like quitting pay from Michigan is the social Ari from Georgia. Those air two players and make a lot of sense to me. Do you miss this? I mean, do you wish you were gonna be in a war room tonight or you? You know, it's a lot lot to be said for no one tomorrow is going to slam any of your pits were like every pick that you make. "Did Kyle pits they take Kyle pits Cincinnati five Jabbar Chase. Dolphin. Stay. Put this the first surprise. Jalen Waddle wide receiver. Seven lines go open a school eight Carolina, Justin Fields. How about that? After just trading for sand, Donald Nine. Broncos Trey Lance and the Cowboys go Patrick's or Tan. How about that for a mock draft? Top 10 picks 11 Michael Parsons, 12 Eagles Get Jacy Horn corner over receiver. Sean Slater goes 13 Elijah Vera Tucker goes 14 to the Vikings all how about this? Oh, Want the Patriots to take a quarterback. What they did select the guy that I'm rooting for the most not knowing what team he's going to any happens to go to my team in this mock draft. Devante Smith, Alabama. Oh, that would be great. That would be a move. The incompetence of the other 14 teams will not every 14 team because I can't knock something for taking Kyle pits. I can't knock someone for taking Wilson or Trevor Laurence, but to let the Vontae Smith that the Dolphins take water. I think it'll be good wide receiver and don't take them out. They spent that when they don't get I'll give you the top 20, Arizona Greg Newsome, cornerback. Northwestern Graders. Caleb Farley, Virginia Tech Corner, Jalen Phillips from Miami to the Dolphins. Christian Dara saw who joined us. He's going to watch this football team, according to Peter King, and then 20. Chicago Bears were shot, Bateman I like your Now. Shot Bateman and Tyler Johnson two years ago. We're teammates at Minnesota and Bateman was the better player Johnson have gone the fourth or fifth round. I can't remember to the Buccaneers and he has a nice place in the playoffs. I will say that I think Bateman is definitely a first round talent. Now. The quarterbacks here so compelling, they have to get 123. Get fields going to the Panthers. Would be surprised if Carolina takes a quarterback. But in theory, you did trade for Sam Darnell's. You gave up three draft picks, but you're not tied down to Sam Donald without be wild. If you get basically three quarterbacks the last two off seasons, Bridgewater Was eventually to get traded when you trade for Sam, and then even before letting Sam play you basically draft his replacement and the Broncos. I would be fine if they take And Peyton's first draft that they end up taken Trey Lance, I'd be more than fine with that. I think they could be in the move, though, to trade up to maybe get.

"Tackle Joe What do you think for Tennessee 22? Well, I think it's a A bit of a reach, Maybe here just by a little bit, But the Titans are built to win right now, and they have lost Corey Davis to free agency. They lost Adam Humphreys. They lost Johnny Smith. They have the most vacated targets in the NFL going into this season, and it might be a little early for him. But I'm gonna go with Elijah Moore at 22 for the tight Don't think it's too early. I think they love it, buddy. Yeah, I'm with you and I do, too. I don't think it's too early either, And I might. I might like Rondo more more than as a player than Elijah Moore. But Elijah Moore does not have the injury concerns he does not have. The You have to go back to 2018 to watch his film concerns and Joe Marino from the draft network here a couple weeks ago, thought he had more position flexibility and the Titans need a guy to play on the outside and in the inside, So I think Elijah Moore is the best fit for them. I like it. I'll say and I know I've referenced it a couple times. I did a mock today. By the way, Nate has one up at the website will be gr 5 50 dot com. I did one on a podcast. I had allies. You more go to the Titans. So there you go, Joe. Like I had that as well, I I like this fit. Puzzling off season, I guess is how I would would would would point to Tennessee I mean them going full bore and paying, But Dupri top of market coming up in a C L injury was bananas to me them deciding that, you know, they're just not gonna attend or not could even bring back Corey Davis. They're also gonna let go of Adam Humphreys. They Johnny Smith's gone just a puzzling off season for that team to put all of their bananas into the Into the basket to to go after a nudge A ER when that team is maybe the one position they're set at is that she was just a real mind blowing off season for Tennessee. But it's a good pick. I think. All right, Elijah, more Ole Miss to the Tennessee Titans. The Jets are next to 23 with the second of their two money round picks. We're smoking. Joe Douglas is playing with house money. Every single one of their needs. They can. You could seemingly take here on the board. You can absolutely see him going. Gavin Collins here you can see them. Go in quick pie here. You can see them going. Travis Ctn here at running back. They have a ton of up. You could see him go. Greg Newsome, the second corner from Northwestern. They have tons of needs on that team, particularly on the defensive side of the ball. This is a really hard pick for me, but I think I'm going to go. Greg Newsome the corner out of northwestern, I think they really need that second cornerback position kind of filled up. Frankly, they probably still need a number one corner s O. I think Greg Newsome gives him that. I think that he ultimately ends up Probably being one of the I like Newsome a lot. I know people have him above JC Horn. I know he's Been talked about in the top two or three in this class, so I think it's a great pick. I think overall great first round for the New York Jets coming away with, I think a starting corner. I'd like to build to take him if he felt a 30. I gotta tell you guys every time I do these mock exercises he goes right around this spot. It's like right right between like here and just before the Bills pick, so I don't think they'll do it but be able to get him But I like the player. Is there any kind of a case to be made that they should do something skill player wise to help out their rookie quarterback that they just drafted? Number. Yeah, I think that's why Vicky Tien comes into play 100%, But you look at you Look at what's available right now. Who is really that player out of the guys? But we could go, Tony. Um, I mean, I could be sold on Canarias Tony at at 23. It feels like a little bit of a stretch. Um, otherwise, listen, we knew this is a skilled draft. A lot of those skilled position. Guys are getting pushed up into the top 18 picks. I think this is a home run. I also think I'm Elijah Vera Tucker would be a home run here for the New York Jets. The Jets had a lot of options based on the way that this board played out. I agree. All right. That brings it around to me for the Steelers at number 24 were trying to kind of plow through these pics that we have at the bottom of the hour in a reasonably long segment, enough time to devote to the Bills pick at 30. So the Steelers Oh, cornerback, offensive tackle. Running back a lot of cell. I know you reference these mock draft. You been doing nausea? Harris has to be a big a big favorite going to Pittsburgh, but he's already off the board and lower exercise. So, um Hmm. I think for the Steelers, I'm tempted to go running back. I could go. Devante Williams. Ah, here. Of course. Ctn is still on the board. Uh, but you're gonna have a hard time. Seeing me pick ET en here. Just right. Of course you want to leave was glad Bulldog got Pittsburgh so that you can make it to the bills. We have the debate. Um I think I'll go into your offensive line here. Ah, Elijah. Vera Tucker, I think is the pick for the Steelers. Um, you know, you guys have talked about him some writing east. He's a nice player. Um and, um Steelers, they They're gonna want to run the ball. Um so I think it terror offensive line is a solid choice for them, So I'll go there for them. I like this pickle on in there. You could make the argument is the highest rated player left on the board. And you guys, Collins is there. Looking at the draft network bar moors there, but you could make that argument. Still, there's there's He's a good players. They need offensive linemen. They desperately need offensive lineman and if they were gonna have any chance this season, considering they don't have much of a backup option, they need Roethlisberger to last the entire season, and they need him to be as healthy as possible. That offensive line right now is not constructed to keep him healthy over here. That Okay. Elijah. Vera Tucker at 24 to the Steelers were back to the top of the batting order. And then his.

"Best available on Day one and a two and a three, which I think is huge for this team, And it's huge for other teams who are in the same position that the Buffalo Bills are. And then if you take you know the long term versus short term comment by Brandon a step further. You look at the positions on this roster that have players entering the final year of their contracts Jerry Hughes and Mario Addison at the defensive end position and then a cornerback. You got Levi Wallace on a one year deal Terran Johnson in the last year of his rookie contract, so You can very quickly get right back to the perceived need positions of the bills. When you're thinking about that pick at 30 the other thing to Maddie that I found interesting and people People made a lot of this. Someone I can remember who asked the question, but they gave Brandon an opportunity to dismiss the thought of running back at pick 30, and he didn't Shut the door on it. Um At the same time when he said that you know, Moss and Singletary are guys who don't have that home run threat in their skill set people immediately when God, God said it's Oh, easy any TNT TNN because he's a home run threat. But people forgot med breed is on the roster. That guy runs a 438. What the heck is he chopped liver? What's going on? Yeah, Let's not forget about mad Brita. Let's not forget about the opportunities that Kirsten wait and Antonio Williams will have this offseason as we head into training camp is well, but yeah, you're totally right. He did say if there's a really good player available, and he is different than Zach Moss and Devon Singletary, then maybe we'll entertain. That option if it's there, But yeah, let's not forget about the guy who we just added in that Brita. Of course, he didn't have the season. He wanted to have last year with the Miami Dolphins to getting be out by some other running backs who are definitely younger than him. But I love the season that he had with the San Francisco 40 Niners when he popped off like that's the type of running back I want on this Buffalo Bill's team this year, and this coaching staff is known to get the best out of the players, and maybe they can get that type of caliber player out of him this year. I don't imagine him beating out Zach Moss and Evan Singletary to take all of the carries, but I definitely could see the three of them sharing the load and a lot of different ways. When you talk about what our offense could look like. In 2021, But let's let's be real. We're gonna pass the ball more than we're going to run the ball. That's how this offense look last year. That's how it's gonna look this year based on what we have. They do want to run the ball better. But if we're passing it just as good as we did last year. Maybe it's not as big of a concern. Hopefully, they can iron out some of the things on the offensive line. This set of Zach Moss in Devon Singletary, Matt Brita for a little bit more success than last season. Alright, Maddie's It's mock draft season nine point. What are the interesting aspect that you found this week? When, as you know, gets a little closer, we've got a little more rhetoric from all the teams a little few few more press conferences to glean whatever information we can we've had Brandon means. What did that do to the drop mock draft and people's opinion about what the bills will do it, 30. Yes. So we have done nine of these. We have tracked 117. So far, we've got one more coming out next week on Thursday, so the day of the NFL draft, So we're gonna have 10 total Esso out of those 117 that we've tracked. All do kind of little housecleaning here for you guys. Um, I tracked 13 in the last crap that got released for nine point. Oh, Out of those 13 5 were corners four where edge rushers. Two were running backs. We had a guard and defensive tackle corners have been the favorite. The last couple of mock drafts that have been released, not draft watches that have been released. So out of the 117 corners lead the pack. Have been mocked to the Buffalo Bills. 30 Times number two is Ed rusher. They've been marked to the Buffalo Bills. 22. Times number three running back 17 Times Number four's offensive tackle at 15 times, and that number five is linebacker at 14 times, So corners and edges as of late have kind of sword. When you're looking at all these mock drafts and what people think the Buffalo bills were will choose. It's more corner and edge rusher heavy than anything right now, Right? And so the guard is the one that I found interesting and I'm trying a scroll through quickly enough. On Buffalo bills that count to see who that was government. Elijah Vera Tucker. Vera Tucker. I'm but he's gonna be long gone. You know, if if it's not gonna be there, there's a Christian bar. More on that list is well, I mean, he may be long gone by the time it gets to 30, but It's interesting because everything I'd love to have him but man, right? You know when the bills have been picking the late teens or mid teens or whatever between 10 and 22. You always knew there was gonna be a really good player. They're a really good player. 30. You kind of you kind of think I Oh, my gosh, It's way back. I don't but they're really does you do stand a chance, So he's gonna be left of getting it right. You really get a chance you get you stand a chance of getting a guy that's like, wow. He's really gonna help us or he's way better than a guy than we thought we were going to get There is that chance in this draft, particularly for a guy like Elijah Vera Tucker? Drops or some of these, some of the other guys like even Greg Newsome from Northwestern. He's one of those top five corners. They I've seen him a number of times dropped to Buffalo..

"Were running through some rumors out here last few days leading up to the draft. This is always a very fun. Exciting time i did. See a tweet. Recently elijah vera. Tucker as a surprise top twelve pick in this draft. Some of the shortest arms among the tackles with the question mark in this class. Are we buying this craig man. This is a tough sell. Elizaveta tucker doesn't even have the standard. You know thirty three inch arms that a lot of nfl teams asked for. He's got thirty two and one eight inch arm. So he's he's quite a bit short the shortest arm length in the top twenty tackles we have in the kc draft guide. There you go. So i think it's a situation where most teens view him as a guard even got the movement ability to play tackle and we have been great as a tackle and we think he can play tackle. Nfl the way that they view him will likely be as an interior offense of lying man. How often do interior offensive lineman go in the top twelve. Unless you're quinton nelson does not happen. He's really really rare. So guys like elijah vera tucker just don't tend to go that high yes if a team has taken him to play tackle. I can believe that he will be a fringe fifteen ish. Maybe twentyish player. Because i think he is that kind of good player but we know that the nfl has these stringent arm length standards and right now him being that much shorter than it even though he's got the movement ability. I just do not believe that he's going top twelve at all. Yeah it'd be a little bit surprising for me too. And i'm a big allies. Avera tucker fan. I think he got a my guy in the casey draft guide. But i don't see. I think he's if teams are having these conversations about you know squinting hard enough in making exceptions to move. Some of these tackles are keep. Some of these tackles with shorter arms outside. I think elijah very tucker's one of the last candidates. Even though i think he might be a better football player than a lot of these guys maybe all of the ones that we're talking about here with the short arms. I think he's a guard. But i'm looking here at the last few graphs and there's been one guard taking the top five since two thousand fifteen. I believe that is quinton nelson. And that's just me thumbing through this right now could go back even farther as much as i love elizaveta time i do think it's natural positions ultimately going to be guard probably here In the national football league. And he's gonna be he's going to be an exceptional one. It's positional value. Can't you say top five when you were talking about clinton nelson there. What did you actually mean. They're top fifteen top twelve sorry about fifteen top twelve look like chance. Warm mac in two thousand and thirteen are no jonathan cooper as well in two thousand thirteen so two guards went in the top ten in two thousand thirteen and they quit nelson. I'm just thumbing. I'm still i'm just thumbing through right now gray looking while we're while we're having a conversation. Yeah i mean i think willis willis would be a guy that i think a lot of people thought might be a guard as well get kinda similar to various soccer and i'm just looking at the top twelve in it's like so where would he fit in and maybe dallas maybe dallas attend loves him. You know maybe slater's off the board and and they wanna get a guy that they think can play tackle. if he fails just kick him into kindergar- they had no issue moving guys around in the past you know collins started guard kicked the tackle. So do i think he's gonna top twelve. Probably not but i mean crazier things have happened if teams really likes him top teams. He's a good player if someone thinks he is the third best offensive line mid in this draft class in. I guess my question would be why not. And if it's just the orm lake. I think teams i teams may look pass that i mean like i mean the fighting cattleman sitting there at eleven. Might just love him my. He might not be able to help himself. You might see that that slobber knocker hog molly just sitting there with the short arms and he's going to be a new york giant who knows I would so i would say. I don't think he's going top twelve but maybe this was kinda crazy to me because like kim said he's going back to two thousand thirteen to find more than quinton nelson as a guard that went top twelve and i zero doubt that the nfl says elijah. Very tucker as a guard. I think people were split before his day. The measurements came out if he was a guard or tackle. Most people were in the camp of trauma tackle because it looked right at usc. But i might like them. Better guard was the general consensus. You thirty two inch arms. Like he's barely over thirty two inch arms. He's not gonna play tackle other than spot starts and the nfl level. So if you're taking top twelve. I mean you've got to really really love him. You gotta think you're getting a david. Decastro quinton nelson type guard. You have to feel very certain about it. And like jake said yet dallas team that could use interior offensive line help. But there's a chance. They're looking at their pick of the litter any defensive player in the draft. Are they really gonna like elizaveta tucker better than the best defensive player. Possible seems very unlikely. Let's go to the scale. Boop people pick this.

"Long lanky greg russo. Fister profile reminds me a lot of jason pierre paul when they took him and then jalen waddell going to the los angeles chargers man. He's talking about building strength on strength. Another playmaker inside. Mike williams and keenan allen with justin herbert lookout. Our defend and i met you. I mentioned the blurb went on. Nfl dot com. They would mean they'd have to be aggressive in free agency addressing the offensive line. They have to get that accomplished this offseason. but man. if you'll get a couple starters in free agency and then now you could dedicate a second third round. Pick to the offensive line. I think they'd be okay but just adding speed some big time speed and a player like waddell man. i be a fun offense to watch their. Let's keep it going here. Let's go sixteen to twenty elijah vera. Tucker guard going to arizona. At usc he pay from michigan. Goes seventeen to the. Las vegas raiders. Eighteen the miami dolphins with their second first round pick they'd go with najji harris running back out of alabama nineteen the washington football team christian dera saw tackle from virginia tech and then twenty. The bears go cadaverous tony a wide receiver out of florida. The things that to me is the first run about coming up to board nausea harris. Going to the miami dolphins natural player unit talk. You talked about the matt. Forte comparison and i believe. That's a very apt. Comparison is ability. Not only to make things happen with. The boss has run up but to catch the ball and run row south backfield for young quarterback to lower. You need to have someone who can alleviate some of the pressure. I believe. Nigeria certainly is capable it. Let's keep moving here. That would change the offense. They're absolutely had those two guys Twenty one through twenty five. Greg newsom new name here corner from northwestern. He goes to the indianapolis colts in. Are they just got carson wentz. They did not have to give up a first round. Pick this year. So they can supplement the roster. So i've got them going. Greg newsom tennessee jalen phillips edge. Rusher from miami. The second edge rusher miami go in the first round the jets ronnie perkins a new name. I gotta give nine to build a love here. Because i was going through watching these guys and he said hey. Have you watched Ronnie perkins yet. I haven't seen him. We'll see we got so. I popped him on darn darn good football player. So i've got him go into the jets. Twenty four pittsburgh. John mayfield tackle at michigan as they try to rebuild that offensive line in pittsburgh and then twenty-five jeremiah will sukor moa really kind of a linebacker big nickel kind of do everything. Athlete at notre dame he goes to urban meyer and the jags looming a lot of interesting names. Got some new names I think one to focus on his greg. Newsom the corner from a northwestern Haven't seen his name talked about or hurt. His name talked about a lot..

"In you right off the sunset if you believe that tired smith is coming back to be as good as he. Was you go kaleb farley because you have no cornerbacks on your team. That are worth mentioning. So it's just all of internal evaluation of what's going to happen. Egg running the team lead on the position that you that you're having to replace the board poured position that has a guy that's proven to be hurt time and time again i will take your sean slater. Worst case scenario. You can play him at guard or center. If tyron smith does come back and is able to go with the tenth pick in the two thousand twenty one. Nfl draft dallas cowboys. Select ray sean slater. The offense tackle out of northwestern opted out of the twenty twenty season. Go watch him a chase young. You will be impressed. Pick number eleven. The new york giants A lot of a lot of Needs out there. They could go. They could go off ball linebacker they could go wide receiver. They could really. I mean trying to help try to help daniel jones. Here i think is a bad move. Devante smith still on the board. Eleven i believe is where the no the first receiver went off the board last year. I don't know i. I don't know if i hate. The idea of getting devante smith in the mixed diet can come on covered quick. I mean here's my thing. And i'm gonna say this about devante smell. I know where this is. I'm going to say this about devante smith now that we went to the senior bowl davante smith was there. He was standing on the sidelines. We got to look at that man. That man is thin. I realize he wasn't wearing pads or anything like that. But walking around next to the the rest of these receivers the rest of these players. That are on the sideline. He looked tiny. He did not weigh in at the senior bowl because he was afraid that that was going to be a talking point. There are too many. Gm's in this league that are way too hung up on measurable. Ask decay metcalf about that sometime. I mean devante. Smith is going to have a lot of gm's that are turned off by the fact that he ways that much especially the giants. So if i that's not a bad s not bad that this would be a very gettleman is would be a very gentleman. Anti-gang getaway would be lashed. Gm to go for the body. Type that demont smith and we all know what the most the most gilman take his right. Who's at can't michael. Parsons yeah. It's definitely mike parsons. And that's what i was gonna say. Their linebackers are awful. Michael parsons is a freak athlete at the linebacker position. They need help there. So i ain't blue chip player blue-chip player. I would make the argument for mike. Parsons there'd be quickly pay for essentially the same reasons of freak athlete. Huge need top ten type talent. But i find either way. You can pick whichever one i think. I i think gettleman likes michael. Parsons tape better than quality pace. Two thousand and twenty one. Nfl draft with the eleventh. Pick the new york. Giants like mike. Parsons the linebacker. Out of penn state pick twelve the san francisco forty niners. I mean there's a lot there's a lot of places the tot two cornerbacks are off the board. There's offense lineman galore. Here's an off the beaten path. One and i. I like this one for them. Elijah vera tucker. A guy with he might be a tackle. I think you could play tackle. I think he might be. I mean you could be really really really good interior player. He's undoubtedly a best five. I'm a big fan of his mattie. Talk me out of elijah. Vera tucker. It's a little bit early talk. Be out of them. Well the forty niners might be needing to replace richard sherman. They don't have a lot of depth at cornerback. I've no they got some good play out of jason garrett last year but how many times have we anticipate that man. Playing sixteen games going forward at this point. in time i see caitlin farley. Still sitting there see a very. He is still owned very athletic. Corner that if they want to continue to play that cover three type stuff would make a lot of sense to me with his ball skills and lengthy outside. I thought we thought we were to get rid of cable farley. You're right twenty twelve twenty. Twenty twenty one. Nfl draft san francisco. Forty niners take. Caleb party farley. The cornerback out of virginia tech freak of nature uber athletic very promising. Cover skills all right. Los angeles chargers picking thirteen. I feel like they gotta go off of linemen. I don't love the tackles the rest of the tackles. I don't think this early in this group. But i i think you got to address. Tackle your creek. I think so too. I don't hate samuel caused me out of texas. I think he's a good player. I do think it's a little bit early for him. But i also think that if they don't address it here they're going to be fairly safely dealing with the bottom of the second tier of tackles the next time that they come around. I think this is just kind of a a weighing the cost. And what you're going to see the next time around and just taking. Maybe the top of that second tier in sam caused me rather than taking the bottom of that second tier in you. Know maybe like a deliberations or james hudson or something like that and round two. I would argue for cost me. What do you think that looking at the charges. I think that offense of tackle is probably where. I'm living right now. If you had one of those corners sitting there still left around the lakes just took kenneth moore last year so i can't even suggest a linebacker i think so. I think offense tackles the way to go. If the chargers routine that were valued a little bit more physicality out of their offensive line. I can make a case for krish dare saw here. I really could given the way. The chargers look to be going with justin herbert with those weapons. I would just give me the guy that i think is the most kind of polished and best suited the translate as the past protected the next level. I think that's caused me out of the tackles that are left. Go ahead get your guy. Get your choice of this position so you don't have to take the leftovers around to all right. Angeles chargers picked thirteen twenty twenty one nfl draft..
"elijah vera" Discussed on Arrowhead Pride
"Stick there and prove that he can't play before you move them around. But i think he's a he's a good move and player. I think he's physical He's good up at the second level. I think he's smart. I think the ceilings the arrows pointing out for this guy. Craig let you pick between jalen. Mayfield vary tucker. I personally like elijah tucker better. But here's the part that's going to make this. Most were most worthwhile. The bears probably need help at tackle and on the interior. So you're getting a guy that can fill one of those two spots and do it at a pretty high level you have a nice fallback plan for elisha fair tucker because you need that spot take him there and figure it out with the twentieth. Pick in the two thousand twenty one nfl draft. The chicago bears select elijah vera. Tucker the offensive lineman out of usc the jacksonville jaguars were gifted trevor lawrence. And now they're back on the clock. This is another interesting. Pick matty offensive line to protect your your recent massive investment. I see a rashad. Bateman the wide receiver minnesota still on the board. What you think in here. So this jacksonville. Jaguars team is a team. That i'm interested in the rebuilt. I think they have a lot of young talented guys. It just about every position group. I do think you probably have to look into keeping trevor lawrence on its feet based on what you have. I was actually hoping to take elijah vera tucker here because i don't they cam robinson is you're kind of left tackle of the future. I don't love the tackles that are left if my guy landed dickerson didn't get hurt. I would not have been opposed slapping him at center on this roster of. I don't think you could take him this. So i'm gonna go out and do it. I think this is too early for my liking. But liam aiken berg at notre dame i think is a solid player. I don't think he's ever going to be great. I don't think he's gonna be a star but if you slap him at left tackle you get a lot of mike. Mcglinchey type vibes out of him. Maybe a little bit better mover. So that's good because mcglinchey struggled in pass protection this year. You get a guy that steady across there on that blindsided not cam robinson who so up and down with the twenty first pick in the two thousand twenty one nfl draft jacksonville jaguars select liam aiken berg. The tackle out of notre dame take twenty two as we currently sit as the indianapolis colts. They also need a quarterback. There's not one available. They could go corner. they could go receiver. I am going to throw out. I'm gonna throw out eric. Stokes the cornerback out of georgia. I mean i don't love the board for the for the for the colts where they sit at this point so i think he i think what craig kinda said is you. You look at you. Look at the drop off. I think. Eric stokes is one of the is one of the last couple. You know real quality. Cornerback prospects left before there's a. We'll say a sizable gap like in kindergarten. Terrible against the ohio state buckeyes earlier this year. I really like eric. Stokes six one one hundred eighty five pounds. He's got the adequate link there I think he's i think he's physical enough for format e refuses liking if he is ultimately going to be there. Craig talked me out of it. I'm gonna point back to their edge group justin houston's a free agent komo co tour a is not great bend bonobos not create to nico autry is not great. I'm gonna go replaced. Justin houston with another georgia edge. Matt talked about him earlier. Wu z's as you. Larry he has juice off the edge. He can he can drop in coverage pretty well. He's a long guy more of a three four outside linebacker but he does have the link to put his hand in the dirt and play off of the edge. I think that that just helps them. Keep that pass rush good enough because the teeth into is really good. And since you don't have a quarterback that you're able to address with now you gotta make sure that that defense stays good with the twenty second pick in the two thousand and twenty one. Nfl draft the indianapolis colts select aziz. Owner larry the edge out of georgia. I like the pick. I think that's a good one. Craik cleveland browns on the board. They're looking at edge. potentially to. They just need help on their defense in some capacity. Jake i want you to make the pick for this football team. Yeah who is your best defender left on the board I mean who can you pair with myles garrett i guess across from him you got the texas kids on the board Could be a potential pick there. He's probably the top looking edge laugh. someone mouthing jalen phillips to me. Right how safe is this. Is this jalen phillips territory. This about where you about. Who's in their secondary to jalen philip. There's help too though right eric. Stokes we talked about the pick. Before would eric stokes fit in there across from denzel ward. You start looking at here. I think you do start looking at drop off right because we're getting to that point. We're getting to that point. The draft for some of these positions are going to have a blatant drop. Why don't the browns take a running back. you know. They can use one. And i would go. Yeah phillips i think phillips would be probably where you're talking about like risk reward. You're getting towards the end of the first round. Your first round grades are probably pretty much getting dried up right now at upside is is anyone probably left in that age group so you could absolutely talk me into jalen phillips here at this point the draft. So if that's what you guys wanna do I would..
