"To you good morning to all of you we're so happy to have you here it is national heart month which is very fitting a month as Valentine's day want everybody to have a healthy heart and it's now easier than ever to really have a heart healthy diet isn't it and I want to start out with yeah I think that's so bringing kind of put that in perspective Brad if you wouldn't mind that heart disease kills more people than all forms of cancer combined yeah you know that as well that's the realize right yeah well you know understandably so a lot of Mr focus cancer we have friends that have gone to cancer treatment and Severine lost people the Gentilly that I've gone to cancer so I I totally get it but but just being reminded of that this is Dick put put that in perspective for all of us and there's a lot of great news out there you know in terms of just medical advancements in and what not and and the other piece of the good news as the as a dietitian at that what we do you know are are healthy choices in our line does you know can't prevent heart disease from progressing so the obvious all these ones are not smoking maintaining a healthy weight controlling blood sugar and cholesterol treating high blood pressure that's a big one lot of us are walking around not knowing that we're we have high blood pressure and that's something that you can easily treat and and keep the head of and then getting at least a hundred and fifty minutes of moderate intensity exercise a week which is thirty minutes a day five days a week so I did you know with a lot of us can do that and and more and then just you know getting regular checkups so that you're on top of all of the things you're you're seeing how your body is changing over time and as you age so that you can take care of things you know earlier on right yeah right and from my diet perspective you know people say this all the time like yeah what what if I if I wanted to help prevent heart disease you know what's the easiest way to do that and it's definitely I would say probably if I had to pick one thing if I eat and I think I have to pick three things but but the first thing would be still at least half of your plate with a rainbow of fruits and vegetables right back that's he told me many of us is are we getting enough fruits and vegetables the end and the second one would probably if if people eat fish and seafood though the make it three we know Fisher make it three are you continue to be shown as being instrumental in terms of anti inflammatory but but many other things that they do in our body that helps us with heart disease and then switching to whole grains intact whole grains which means you know it not practicing those whole grains as much as possible is is the the ideal so the one that comes to mind obviously is and so for anybody following me on Instagram the rescue doctor and Katie is always great about posting it on here morning show blog I posted to my latest sort of favorite recipes one storage LPL raisin cookie dough kind of power bottle so good I know I'm looking at right now and in the overnight oats hang cake recipe that's my version like healthy version is a hundred percent whole grain of a famous bakery here in Idaho it's there it's sort of my healthy rendition of their recipe okay right yeah so check it out you'll you'll be tasting a a bit of Idaho but you know just I would think about those outside the old no bowl right everybody thinks about male but there's so much more you can do without so I just wanted to share that you know with with your population well there is a lane Elaine McGee are achieved died to sin and nutritionists for Albertson's Safeway by the way her books available at Amazon dot com it's spelled M. A. G. E. her last name lane you know a lot of folks have heart disease that is the genetically again other it's easy it's common in their family and that those people especially have to be careful I have a very good friend of mine former linebacker in the NFL play football with the university of Illinois and this is a guy that's got unlike me is kept himself in tremendous shape over the years and I ran into him the other day and he said yeah I said that but six months going out I had a heart attack and I'm like what wow he's the picture of health what turns out his father died at a very young age from a heart attack and he had the you know it's it's the genetic thing and he said I never thought that I should be right but he said I've totally had to change my diet because I thought that was a stand in such good shape I could eat anything and he was a cheese burger eating guy stuff like that but now he knows that he's really got a change in his doctor said this will totally transform your heart health he said you can do it through diet believe it or not you really can't and people like him Brad they've got one side of that equation down you know the eating exercise I mean the exercise part of the equation down right but the two together is it magic right eating and exercise eating well and exercising while and as long as you know as long as you can keeps you young and I just wanted to point out what if one of my books tell me what you eat if I suffer from heart disease that's that's the specific one that might help people but the strongest evidence for the health benefits of fruits and vegetables that I talk about all the time is actually with heart disease and cardiovascular disease so we talked about this a lot but it really does make a difference in what you eat and your heart and think top of that even my my husband at a very young age started having chest pain when he was playing basketball and he ended up having a like a congenital kink in one of his arteries one was almost close down the rest you know when they did the cardiogram the the echo at all if you don't remember completely clear except this one collecting quack because of this scheme and not heeded that chest pain you know who knows right yeah died a relatively healthy man will now he's of course well you hear your digestion much he's he's well he's well monitored right because he's on you know they they're checking the blood they're doing at a stress that go tell and he's on his almost six well he's sixty almost sixty four and in in tip top shape so sweet.

"Morning show we are joined by the recipe doctor on Instagram you know or is Elaine McGee we love the lane she's got so many great ideas she is a well known nutritionist earth minded flex it Terry and we'll get our kid to explain that author of twenty five books Albertson's corporate dietician chief nutritionist for our radio show and also nutrition it's all over the San Jose Sharks Elaine we're so glad to have you here always happy to talk to you guys all right okay flex a Terry and explain what that means because I think people are confused by it but actually very simple it is well when I was at Stanford eight out of five to ten years ago that's when I was its members I helped create that concept of being an earth my dyslexic carrying on some of their campus restaurant late and that term just kind of stuck with me and I realized island earth minded such so it means that a big means you're flexible in terms of what you choose so you enjoyed beacon vegetarian dishes sometimes you enjoying Intel up animal products fish at better understood the casket carrying it's kind of vegetarian plus fish but if what kind of flexible so we're kind of kind of US elective on the borders it can you go right but when I asked the term earth minded that means you are making sustainable all kind of environmentally conscious choices whenever possible so for me that means cast your day grass fed beef the scalable fish choices that sort of thing you know looking at it's important choices that you you may wallet that is helping the planet so that wraps it up but I I I think that's a great direction for people because it puts you in a flexible mindset instead of a restrictive mine that and I just think that really helpful for a lot of people when you look at help in terms of mind body and spirit right persisting restrictive and kind of let you know where would that would be obsessive you know actually but sometimes people restrict for really good reason but for the rest of us you know if you can be flexible that's great well you know you're talking about health and that's what everybody's interested in and how your diet affects it did you want to go over the three diet related items that contribute most to the south were outrageous healthcare costs and people can start eating healthfully admit probably very simple way what are those foods that Sir they're not really good for us that could cause problems down the road well this is fascinating Brad when I saw this come out it it the study come out it just you know me hard so dean researchers from bring them and women's hospital partnered with house university and they analyzed cannon sued factors that day no impact our health and I can list the ten for you in a bit but and then they compared to consumption data and and did you know created this model that help them analyze the caught of having unhealthy diet versus a healthy diet based on these can see tractors and they found they calculated that eighty US fifty billion dollars a year in healthcare costs I right blew my mind but the but that sort of the key take away is the three factors that contributed the most to the healthcare costs cancel fading that's right if you have a healthier diet was higher consumption of nuts and seeds versus low consumption of nuts and seeds and a higher consumption of foods containing omega three fats those who are amazing and I inflammatory fat versus low consumption and then that's the good news is because to meet you we can do that you know we are not just feeds we can eat for seafood that content may get three and then the third factor is what I call the bad news it consumption of processed meat so it would be and for those that want to continue eating processed meats are enjoying them at times is to have it less often and when you do have talked to me it's just a smaller amount when you do have themselves that's a step I think that's workable right need to work with this I think you're right absolutely so in other words more Sam and more and more more walnuts and less of the Bologna exactly eleven a yeah this is a yeah and and and they were in and then the other just the other factors that they that they looked at was obviously consumption of fruits consumption of vegetables whole grains poly unsaturated fats in general unprocessed red meats sugar sweetened drinks and sodium and and they chose those canned food factors because they had the work most of that data Alan having an impact our house right some of that excess and if you said Hey Elaine obviously fruits and vegetables are going to be a have a huge impact you if I were them the next time they do this I would not that expert on on this kind of research but I would I would look at dairy in general for fruit because to me they are absolute power houses for our brain for our muscles for our hearts option to research that comes out I'm very so I would totally have them pull out buried a look at that and then for vegetables you know obviously dark leafy greens amazing cabbage family vegetables absolutely and then those orange yellow yellow warranty kind of did you like carrots and what not they have all those Kerry team that are potentially super helpful too so there's more more to come date but I think this was mine hello the way dollars a year sh just incredible and I noticed on your Instagram page your first three pictures there are items who is not only the first one is got to now with walnuts then you've got some wall a wall that recipe then you've got some salmon cakes so you you're kind of guiding the way here on your Instagram page the recipe doctor showing us how we can get healthy by doing all those things include into the omega three fish the nuts and berries things like that so you've got it all dialed in here I'm I'm I'm thinking about you guys and like stick with me on the rest the doctor I'll take you on this journey but yeah those recipes are called out in in particular because they're super easy I mean the standing cake you know pouch damage or family they can like we can do that I mean even better if you have leftover grilled salmon that's amazing but the orders carton and fill out one that recipe takes five minutes to make use of extra virgin olive oil in a nonstick skillet it's just you know me like the aromatics on that is mind blowing but I I give that receipt so people can create and then how the snap ring to work put in your car eve you you're literally helping yourself have those one that almost every day and then the other one is the yeah it the lemon wall that tuna wrap is just a of of fun quick lunch or dinner but again you're using yeah pouch or can tune out like we can do that in and to have that kind of China does have the omega threes yeah and then we're adding these other omega three so yeah a credible Franco Hey you know what I saw those and I got hungry it's Elaine Magee she's the recipe doctor on Instagram and sure chief contrition is M. A. G. E. is the last name to go on Amazon to get our books lane we appreciate your time this morning you bet you all take care do the same seven twenty seven time right now desert gold exchange de gold silver rare coins all they do stock market reaching record highs for one K. looking good I really looking good but you know there's always the chance for a stock market correction that means you could lose some money there's a way to prevent or to protect your portfolio and that's by talking to folks a desert gold exchange and ask them about how you can diversify your portfolio with gold silver and rare coins they're the experts at hell take the scary out of it for you in case you've never done anything like this before they're the experts everybody there is no the company you're not talking to a guy who's Wrobel calling as it had said on following a script they know.

debate on Thursday have written to the DLC asking for special treatment not for themselves not for two candidates who didn't qualify the latter demands the DNC changed its rules on who's eligible in order to allow Cory Booker and Julian Castro to participate even low they failed to meet the standards now here's the dilemma Democrats spent months bragging about how diverse their field was but even before the first primary Democrat voters already eliminated all of the minorities with the exception of Andrew Yang so now it's time to bag even though they are under qualified by the very rules the D. and C. put in place Cory Booker and Julian Castro once again they want their quota they want affirmative action they want a special preference but the DNC leadership is pushing back they're insisting that the standards of the standards it's about marriage it's not about feel good diversity objectives the DNC doesn't care if the debate stage has just a bunch of white guys and gals with a lot of money plus Andrew Yang they say screw affirmative action screws special preferences and screw qualities and by the way Korean Julie I'm screw you know to me that's what they're saying now and the irony is delicious love are.

"Of the KSFO morning show on talk radio five sixty KSFO seven twenty the time right now Brandon for brother Brian I told you we talk about something fun now because you know this is having to drive to the broadcast on Tuesday tighten up Tuesday when a talk food because that's really fun especially this time of year and we'll bring in our chief nutrition nutritious and cheap dietitian for Albertson's Safeway author of numerous books they're available at Amazon dot com Elaine Magee joining us now she's the recipe doctor on Instagram good morning to you good morning how are yeah I'm fantastic is so good to talk to you hope you had a great thanksgiving and we're into the holiday season and you know everybody's gonna be going to the holiday parties and here just so tempted to eat the junk food because they're so almost orders are so good whether they be the little meatball things are the you know the bacon bacon wrapped what ever happened on a stick it's delicious Paul yeah and it's just so much fun to eat but you know and he too much of that stuff and suddenly you're finding his pants fit a little bit tighter Elaine what can we do it all adds up it really does yeah I got right yeah to help you or whoever as comedy everyone to preferences that's the other thing that's going on this holiday Brad that they think different from previous years perhaps his if you're hosting a party or what have you you're getting out of you know a couple vegetarian a couple gluten free hearing a couple that you know are lowered card for whatever reason so how are you a company that now I can answer your first question to grad as you know how do we keep ourselves kind of on track while still enjoying the holiday season right so the first step is to keep it simple you whole foods as much as possible so I've I've posted like fruits vegetables whole grains you know them and that type of thing keep it simple where it's not complicated paper gonna know what in that particular gesture appetizers I did on the Instagram the rest of the doctor one of my recipes for bittersweet chocolate dept California dried figs and then you get put in chopped smokehouse almonds Miley as Brad now it is only get looking it's delicious with simple people can fail Hey that's within that out on the deck is another idea grape tomatoes fresh Basil avocado bell pepper you can stick it in a crew cut at the end it it actually sticks up or have done without the constant for the people that are gluten free and nut job you know thank you for you know all the oil and your favorite flavored balsamic very very simple and is it does really yeah it is Katie said it's on a stick it's fun perfect it stick your fluoride I can give is to let people assemble their own appetizer entree so we're gonna go full bus say or pull the bar on our gas we're going to have you know that holiday charcuterie or cheese board if you don't want include me process and that we people stumble it themselves how some crackers has been gluten free crackers like the simple mills that we've talked about before no you could use stuff what and I posted a recipe to one the rest we doctor Instagram storm what a wonderful ideas for a holiday charcuterie so check that out and then like the mashed potato or baked potato bar in which case make the mashed potatoes without dairy and then people can always add the Jerry you know have the sharp cheddar shredded ready to add how the whipped butter if that's what you want you know a personal pizza bar not your bar salad bar slider bar then you can have mushrooms or meat or fish different add on lettuce wraps always go to the butter lettuce wrapped in somebody's appetizers and that people can do that instead of credit they what so that's that's my other chip the third one is keep it on the side leave some of the dressings the garnishes on the side your guests can added if they want it right absolutely right so and then the fourth one is B. Y. O. B. Y. O. food so those guests who have certain three preferences ring something so that they'll have at least one dish that they can enjoy and feel it you know meet their needs and then the last one if this works yeah there's a big trend about for people not necessarily consuming alcohol or or alternating so you will have some really fun non alcoholic options at your party or get together you know there's some amazing non alcoholic beers have those virgin cocktail type drink as you know people can spike it if they want to help them find copies with flavorings and find cheese I like the hot cocoa idea you can add you know question candy canes or peppermint extract and then the person that you know watched peppermint schnapps can you help hot apple cider in the slow cooker amazing amazing and there's all kinds of really fun mineral waters like been dressed I don't know if you've seen that brand partly water and they have bold flavors they make it was real who is free so don't tend to like it I don't think as much but adults kind of want to say it should be really go with a shot of Boston the place can play with those so you know you can always do that always have your non alcoholic option because that's definitely a bigger trend these days and I think also also laying here you mention all these things the the different ways of doing things with the the different bars set up the taco bar the the the salad bar it it really is more conducive to standing up and socializing instead of the old why sit down dinner that we used to have and I think that's really the way a lot of people are going now just because it's a lot more fun you're absolutely right and then we're going to go with those little appetizer plates right Brad so that's what you know people aren't loading it up you're literally kind of encouraging everybody to mindfully eat it slow down you know take their time small fun little bites and stick like located and lighters instead of the big sandwiches right doing the you know lettuce wraps which kind of all the other different problems for certain people so that's that's where we're at Brad with all these different people doing all these different things right okay we're crafting these different kinds of parties and you know what it it makes it so much easier and so much more fun and we really appreciate your time this morning Elaine Magee she's our chief nutrition should retreat Trishna she's also the nutritionist dietitian for Albertson's Safeway she is the recipe doctor on Instagram tons of books on Amazon MHA M. of the phone call the second hand information you got a phone call on to one of his contacts and Jim Jordan said who is the contact you pass this along to an Adam Schiff Shelton says you don't have to answer that question basically told him don't answer that question they will be able to do that this time around they won't stop they will be able to stop him from answering and hopefully Jim Jordan think this year I was gonna do just a Turkey breast then again you know I really like the dark meat yes like really good ever fall pardon a Turkey so I think I'll just do a small Turkey and then I'm "A lane muggy how you doing Elena I'm great how are you hi well we're doing well but we're just you know were a little worried I mean are you going to once again kind of a slap us to attention and and causes to start eating right how much do I thi this week will land yes Calif spent what he had to do was this week a like come on now I know I'm so sorry no no listen this is this is an important one this is the part when you talk about heart health heart health I want our people listen in this case both morning show to be heart healthy so talk to us first things first what we do it wrong the lane well that is the reason I wanted to talk about this Friday because we get in the last couple months there's been some really interesting studies that have been published on what to do or what not to do in terms of hard to the south if you want the bad news first what not to do basically if you stayed came out and it calendar don't eat a lot of fried food don't skip breakfast and the paleo diet may be for everyone okay so those are the three things on the on the block for free food to me obviously resurgence in the past you know definitely red flags fried foods for heart disease and stroke Daddy she found that eating more eating fried foods increase the risk of heart heart attack and stroke in in here's what gets my attention the more fried food you eat the greater your risk that that's always like for somebody who looks at research that that gets my attention with blood pressure they called the silent killer yeah for sure so so what's too much Elaine I mean now you got people's attention what is too much well out when they in this particular research the people that were you know most at risk with the people who ate fried foods and daily and then the next it rests with the people who ate free right one to three times a week so the people that either less than once a week you know where where the where the where with the goods we're the better off people but it was great as then the people that had the highest intake of fried foods even accounting for other lifestyle factors and and Pat dietary patterns but but they didn't look at which I would want to do next right I would want to look at you know what someone fries and how someone fries so you know the difference between a sweet frankly potato and they don't obviously right and how is somebody frying what type of oil are they using using you know large or hello No Way Out so so that's the next step I think because I I I think that makes a difference I'm gonna I'm today that makes a difference but okay I just have to interject really quick Elaine I just our fritos considered a fried food that's a junk food okay because you know you know me in the photos sorry we only have the bag every time you buy one anyway so you're fine yeah okay the second one giving breakfast and yeah this is Craig we have a lot of people who do that and you know it's it's and I see what's interesting is a lot of people who are overweight skip breakfast because I know they think that they're you know reducing their calorie intake so let's talk about this a line okay well this definitely got my attention because this study the people who never ate breakfast were eighty seven percent more likely to die from cardiovascular disease and stroke than people who ate breakfast every day stop the press eighty seven percent gosh G. after accounting for other factors right the dietary the lifestyle to be a lie right other stuff so what might giving breakfast yeah we know to Katie's point it's associated with elevated blood pressure this particular habit it changes their appetite such that people don't feel school later on when they do Lee and they had the ovary later in the day that's been pretty pretty pretty well published and then it does seem to cause these horrible changes in our blood lipid levels note either in particular higher total and LDL cholesterol in those and the particularly the LDL cholesterol is you know tied to the heart disease risk so but the other thing to keep in mind is people who can get breakfast also tend to have other unhelpful lifestyle habits like more likely to be overweight heavy drinkers former smokers physically inactive Sarah so have a poor diet coke diet quality in general so you know it that's but the eighty seven percent definitely got me paying attention and then the people who follow the paleo diet this is another study hi and to give us a break down of the paleo diet for folks that aren't that miglior with that because it is very popular yeah the caveman's dire right exactly and it's different from here so if you know choose but so the paleo advocate eating meat vegetables nuts and but limited freight and then X. completely excludes grains legumes and dairy I guess it depending and then refined sugar and processed oil so that's kind of I think we do depending on which one every race following that tends to be what they're trying to do so what they found in this group was they had twice the amount of the key blood by a marker that you link to heart disease now that researchers said that they think this was largely due to the lack of whole grains in this population considering the paleo diet well I am really is pretty heavy on red meat from what I remember so they had right they had they tend to have a lot more saturated fat two times more saturated fat at least stand what's recommended so there's that but these researchers are really pointed to whole grains because when I kind of makes sense in that whole grains are gives amazing source of resistant starch fermentable fibers and those are vital to the health of your gut microbiome you know that we talked about but that it does keep biomarkers is produced in the got that's linked to heart disease so the the more you have with that the higher your risk of heart disease and and it just so that there's something to be said about these populations that are doing the paleo diet not having enough of this beneficial bacterial feces this good particular bacteria is actually lower in the paleo grit and body having reduced card intake let's see the for the second time with the December here so the the idea is cut down the fried food fried food I mean how if you were just to give us a number how often could you eat fried food and Elaine McGee would be okay with it thank you once a week okay once a week yeah yeah and then start eating breakfast yeah doesn't have fried food for breakfast it's like right what about it gets after Brad what okay yeah they'll give us it but it doesn't have to be a lot just get something in your stomach that's that's helpful correct yeah Greek yogurt you know you think think it even ate with being only cherry owes will that work I even healthier I mean I would try to add protein if you can't wait a few not so good and then Hey Leo we just watch the paleo easy on the paleo right yeah in the end the real quick the Jews good things that came up in research in the plant based diet obviously you know higher in plant foods they'll do it do it and then the other ones eating buried every day which we talked about before but it keeps coming up gosh darn it these amazing berries I would have them every day and very good breakfast I lover Alain McGee online that you can buy her books at Amazon dot com Elaine Magee MA G. "From radio. He is now making he's he's wanted to make films for the longest time, and he's been working on this. And he now has his direct to'real debut at it's actually a well produced and seemingly well-funded adventure. And he's going to be along with us during the eight o'clock hour to talk about this. There's actually a preview that some of you will that you'll be able to it may be sold out. We'll find out, but there's a preview coming up and I'm really excited for Eric. So you're going to get caught up. What's going on with Eric and the latest for the pride of Daly city. Eric, son toes? So we've got that for you. Also, Elaine mcgee's going to be a long. She's our chief nutritionist here on the case for morning show. So we'll have that for his well here is. This is Rashida Talib tallied. It's T L A I B. She's the congresswoman from Michigan. Who is a Muslim. And I contend a radical Muslim and she made yet another shocking and historically ignorant claim. She's talking about the holocaust the holocaust. She says there's a calming feeling I get when I tell folks what I think about the holocaust. Oh, really calming feeling. But the holocaust. I will tell us play. Let's play her thoughts here. Because when you Nancy Pelosi is defending these thoughts. Most of the media is not giving you the full. They're not giving you what she said. In context, we'll do a little bit better than the rest of the media in terms of doing that. So here's the clip. She said this on a podcast called skulduggery in an episode entitled from Rashida with love take a listen. It's a kind of a calming feeling. I always tell folks when I think of the holocaust and the tragic holocaust in the fact that it was my ancestors Palestinians who lost their land some lost their lives their livelihood human dignity their existence. In many ways have been wiped out in some people's passport. I mean, just all of it was in the name of trying to create a safe haven for Jews post the holocaust post the tragedy in her thick persecution of Jews across the world at that time. And I love the fact that it was my ancestors that provided that right in many ways, but they did it in a way that took their human dignity away. Right. And it was forced. Okay. So she says, oh, I love what my ancestors do did. But then her heart slips out, but it was forced on them. There are so many historical inaccuracies in that statement. You just heard I don't even know where to start. But first of all the Jewish presence in the area currently known as Israel dates back thousands of years long before there was ever a Muslim on the planet. That's for starters. Then we could talk about the ball for declaration of nineteen seventeen where the British government supported the establishment of a Jewish state in the area that was long before World War Two that we could talk about nineteen thirty seven and the British peel commission proposing a two state solution for Jusin Arabs, which the air ABS rejected because they could not accept any Jewish presence in the region Hodges repeat that for some of your driving long. Nineteen thirty seven the British peel commissioned P E L, the British peel commission proposed two state solution for Jews and Arabs which the air ABS rejected because they didn't want any Jews in the area. That oh, here's another little inconvenient fact for Representative Todd Talib during World War, Two the Palestinian leader. At the time. The grand mufti of Jerusalem el-husseini met with Adolf Hitler. And allied his people with the Nazis. She kind of forgot that as well. Didn't she? You can read about this at the holocaust museum. Al-hussein he collaborated with the German and Italian governments by broadcasting pro axis anti-british anti Jewish propaganda via radio to the world, inciting violence against Jews and the British authorities in the Middle East at recruiting young manifests faith for service in the German military. This woman is so full of it. She so dangerous. She comes Oshii celebrated. Oh, the name of diversity we needed to celebrate this witch. Right. Not here, folks. Not here. We'll move on. Thank you very much seven minutes before seven o'clock. Okay. Seville? Hey what else? Do we talk about? Well, the market this morning. Despite the huge losses yesterday. Market is responding. Donald Trump's been tweeting a lot about this. He's saying in one tweet from a couple of hours ago. Our great patriot farmers will be one of the biggest beneficiary beneficiaries of what is happening right now with these trade talks. And the tariffs. At trying to get China to come to the table and deal in a fair way, Trump continues, hopefully, China will do us the honor of continuing to buy our great farm products the best, but if not your, but if not your country will make up the difference based on a very high China by this money will come from the massive tariffs being paid to the United States for allowing China and others to do business with us, the farmers haven't been for the farmers have been forgotten for many years. Trump says the time is now. Well, finally, we have a president standing up for the farmers. It's about time. These guys have been taken to the shorts for so long. Here's another tweet China way pumping money into their system at probably reducing interest rates as always in order to make up for the business. They are and will be losing. If the Federal Reserve ever did a match it would be gave over we win in any event. China wants a deal. Good good. And I believe they do because as we've described and we will continue to scribe in the next hour. China needs us big time. They need us more than we need them. And what you get into seeing with these high tariffs, increasing the cost of goods manufacturing China. You're gonna get companies from the United States saying screw it. We will do business in China anymore. We're move into Vietnam forgo in Sri Lanka. We'll take it to the Philippines. Right. Yeah. This move. They'll get higher quality there too. Probably probably speaking of quality quality of the roadways. This morning is just atrocious. Katie's got to have an update they just few minutes. Pa- Katie we got like twenty seconds left in this segment. Just give them a give them a beam on what you're focusing on this morning because this is really nasty tanker truck five eighty at the five eighty west of the eighty connector, we have a tow truck that just pulled up to the scene. So it's it's clearing stages, but still about an hour and fifteen minute delays. All right. We'll get you covered. All that. We're glad you're.

"Our chief nutritionist and dietician on. Oh, she is also the very same for Safeway albertsons. She's the author of men in many books on nutrition. She is Elaine McGee spelled M A G E. And I say that because a lot of you want to go on line to purchase them for books. Good morning, Elaine. How are you? Learning and great. How are you all we're doing fantastic? And you know, we'll all be better off after you share your pearls of wisdom with us regarding produce. We're talking the power of produce this morning. Elaine. You know, it my favorite topic. I was just at a conference last week. And it was put on by the produce for better health down Dacian, which is around, you know, several decades, and they have a new movement, and they're calling this movement. How the plant which I kinda like 'cause it's got an, you know, called action plan. Discriminate. You know? You know, it's all about plants. But here here's the thing. We know that vegetables are good for us. We know we should be eating more of them. We know that nine out of ten Americans. Don't get enough fruits and vegetables every day. So the quandary is how do we how do we make that change? Right. So and by the way, Elaine, if I could interject we have no excuse here in California, especially because we have the best and the freshest, and it's plentiful and all the stores and all the restaurants serve it up as well. Right away. Yeah. So true. I would say menu wing in particular in California, which you notice when you travel elsewhere, though, okay, where style, you know, where where California really does such a great job. So part of I think this movement is to inspire it with emotion, you know, use some different half halfbacks to inspire people to embrace, you know, fruits and vegetables and part of its, you know, making fun on social media and and things like that. So that's all wrapped up in this have a plant, but but also how the motivation just being your health plan. And simple. I mean, you you really need this stuff to avoid disease and all host of things, right? It. It's it's really true. I mean, that's what motivates like the boomers, which I'm, you know, young number of. We're we're motivated by those what are the takeaways was this? There's the strongest evidence healthwise is perfect and vegetables, and cardiovascular disease that you know, to two cups of fruit three cups of vegetables a day. You know, very powerful two cups of fruit three cups of vegetables a day. That's the recommendation. Yeah. Yeah. So like gosh how many years ago was this thirty years ago? I worked for the five day program at California in California Public health department, which was like a pilot, and then it ended up going national. So I think we got it right with the five, but it was supposed to be by Thompson set of fiset earthy. But you know, but but that's just a good. Well, no, I have to interject again. What's the difference between a Cup and a serving? I would think they're the same. No. And that's why you know, this is so much better because they don't wanna get wrapped up in what a serving. You know? That's what I love about have a plant plant. You know, it's like just you know, just have some vegetables at almost every meal and you'll get there. Make it simple. Good making. How that forming in French fries don't count as a plant, right? No. I'm I'm so sorry. I think they French fries. Okay. You know, or that that can? But here's the other part you want to eat the rainbow. You know, so I think just focusing on getting a variety of colors of fruits and vegetables. You'll automatically get a variety of key nutrients, don't get wrapped up in the minutia. He just gets rainbow. Let's go through the rainbow for a specially the guy's listening. Okay. The rainbow that doesn't include the orange soda. Okay. So the rainbow it'd be like point. Okay. Well, you do lettuce is easy. That's easy. So there's your green green gotta get your green and your broccoli. That's a that's a super super. Okay. So power. We could do read. There's an apples red. Raspberries, strawberries, blackberries, blueberries eggplant, all your purple. And then we do can we get a banana. And there this yellow yet upgrade we can do this guys. We can do this. Yeah. And even white, you know, you got your Hickam on your colleague flower. Those are amazing amputate 'tatoes. Right. And you and you want your yellow orange with your sweet potatoes and your yellow Bill peppers and squash. Right. So it's just e either rainbow, and you automatically get a variety of these key new transplant compounds. We always talked about with antioxidants. Yes. So the easiest way to increase your any oxidant in intake, for example, in this American diet that we all eat is any more fruits and vegetables. But I love the point decided point that somebody made him one of their lectures, eating these fruits and vegetables with their skin on at optimal stages of. Brightness. That's K two. So the reason we want to the skin when we can like don't don't kill your carrots. You know, eat the skin on your potato and your Yam or the best part and all that good stuff. Exactly, you know, it and the skin on tomatoes and you want to piss in the orange. He wants a membrane on the orange. She wants a pope we talked about that. That's where Beiber is. But also plant compounds that that help your body that are anti inflammatory Evers is cooked, Elaine. Good point. I think it's all good. Like, I would never I would I would never tell somebody not to have either. There are cases where vitamins and minerals are actually absorbed more when things are cooked believe it or not, and there are other vitamins and minerals that can can get lost in the water. If you're boiling, for example, waterside ball or heat sensitive. So it's kind of a mixed bag. And that's why it's all good. Just do it. One more thing for a we were talking earlier about the impossible burger, which is becoming very popular these, you know, meatless burgers, and they're pretty darn tasty. So when you're eating this plant based burger. What's what's the benefit of that? I mean, how does that work into your theory of having these five big servings of the plants? How would how would it impossible burger do? I think if it's plant based it will work toward that total. I'm hoping it's got some good protein in too though, because you know, if it's going to substitute for a hamburger in my case, it would be like a nice lane one. That's grass-fed. Hopefully, doesn't pro- probably has some soy in it. That's the soy's protein. Right. It is Etta mommy's amazing. So you can have that you can put a slice of lettuce tomato. You're you're doing okay. Yeah. You are you are. So there's lots of Boston's up there. I think there's never been a better time to want to be more plant based in one of my mottos. Let me put it out. There is plant based doesn't have to mean plants only. So so many of the benefits that people get from eating more plants doesn't have to mean, that's all you eat. There is a way to work in fish, and dairy and lean meats and still have many of the health benefits as long as that way of eating. No has lots of plants could that's the key. Right. That's the that's the secret sauce is they have a plant part shoes. So smart. That's Elaine McGee. She's got all sorts of great books. Elaine, M A G E lane McGee, our chief nutritionist and dietician, of course, first and foremost, she does that for Safeway verses as well. Elaine,.

"Five sixty F O tighten up Tuesday on good morning, everybody. Brian says with you. And now we bring her in. Yes. She's our chief nutritionist and chief dietician on the case of a morning show. And actually, she is the same for albertsons, Safeway and author of many many books on health all available at Amazon dot com. She is Elaine McGee M A G E is how you spell the last name. Elaine mcgee. How you doing? Great celebrating April with national grilled cheese. I heard about this. Now, you know, it's amazing right across the street from us. We've got a restaurant that is dedicated to the grilled cheese sandwich. So we get the tasty aroma all the time, but tell us what you love about the grilled cheese. I mean, you probably have the best way of the world to make one of these. Yep. Liane with it. So you can celebrate all month long and healthy way. Grilled cheese. It's the enemy of comfort food, and it's easy to make for just one person one or two people and for so many households. That's that's where we're at. But I loved it. It's kid and adult friendly to. And here's here's what happens. So of course, we as American pretty much. Do it all wrong. Help us white bread. We use lots of butter to crisp bread. And then we even add more items that are hiring calories. Saturated fat salt. You know, like bacon. Have you heard of those, you know, MAC and cheese, grilled cheese. Yes. Right. For sure. And I and I know that's making everybody. Now. What that of course. Okay. So what you're saying the traditional grilled cheese with the white bread, which we all know, even though it tastes great with in certain combinations. Is not good for you. There's no nutritional and then the the extra butter, which we really don't need. But it tastes great. We don't really need. At least if it's in between two pieces of bread. You don't have to add breadcrumbs to the MAC and cheese. And then then the velveeta cheese, which isn't even but listen this away, then the velveeta cheese, which isn't even real cheese. But we all love it. Okay. So tell us how to do this, right? Here's the the right way. And seriously, this these are helpful things. So that you can have grilled cheese on the hopeful way only airline so tips, which gives you everything you love about grilled cheese. But with more protein, fiber and nutrients, you can't go wrong. Number one. We're going to start off with a hundred percent, holy or hoping or free whatever anybody needs bread because Donald pump up the fiber and the nutrients, it will be more satisfying. And it'll make our happier. And then instead of a better, by the way, Elaine, we do like happy intestines. I think I think everybody in this audience is in agreement. We liked to happy intense. And test insist that makes her a bad day. It can really. Yeah. Yeah. That's a botched job. Gonna switch to extra-virgin olive oil. We're gonna go Mediterranean instead of the butter. Oh well. That works. It adds some flavor antioxidants, the smart set, and it does Chris the brag it really is. So you said just literally brush it under the bread brush it on. Okay. Or if you're in a free can just pour a little bit into the pan. And then like slide the bread around. Okay. Where you get it all over coating, and then we're gonna skill. Choose a great tasting cheese that melts well, and you know, so stronger flavors. What do you what do you suggest for the cheese melts? Well, are you are you talking about buying cheese? That's already pre sliced. Or does it matter? It doesn't really matter. I mean, great great great at yourself that works, but the slices are super convenient. Skip these recipes out that I developed with Sargon to- fleet cheese license. Those new right side, cheddar, the five Italian. So sharp, you know, any kind of like good tasting cheese that melt swelling. And those definitely do sergeant makes a sharp a sharp white a pepper, Jack. Which is incredible. That's pretty good. Thank you. Katie. That's that's exactly. And then we're going to pump up the color flavor and nutrition by adding fruits and vegetables to our grilled cheese. Instead of Beijing. I mean, he knows where did you say fruits? Did you say, yes? So. Recipe after I'm a off the radio for some some of great recipes I developed so once called the Hawaiian and it actually uses fresh pineapple in it, and it's kind of like we use our uncured. It's our open nature brand uncured, Canadian bacon. And it's kind of like reminiscent of a Hawaiian style pizza really integral cheese. And then they also did a one called the Philly. And then show. So I'm gonna send you all those recipes in the Sicilian is vegetarian. So I've even got, you know, so vegetarian grilled cheese recipes, but and then lastly so back to the initial. Eggplant onions peppers mushrooms, fresh basil tomato, white Katie mentioned, mango apples, kind of hours. These all can add to your grilled cheese and fun ways. And then the last tip is go lean or go vegetarian or go home. I'm just kidding. I love this. I make I make a grilled cheese that I call the Capri C, but I don't use the the mozzarella I use that sergeant Al sharp cheddar pepper, Jack. And I put basil in tomato on it. And it is so good. Okay. So I just I have to ask you this question because for those people who might be intolerant of the cheese. Is there any alternative that might come close to working the way in which you're suggesting here with these recipes? Is there any sub for you have lots of you can get the vegetarian or the dairy free sour cream dairy free this that and the other? But is there anything for the cheese? There are some Gary there are some Gary alternative cheeses out there. In there. It's a bit more challenging to find one that Melwork same and taste the same. Very. But when you're desperate, you're desperate. Right. And hopefully because of these fun recipes that, you know, in different ways of jazzing up our grilled cheese. Notice as much that the cheeses is not the same. But but Katie the force grilled cheese recipe, you won't believe that that I'm gonna send you is the Capri say, and it uses balsamic glaze, and everything you just mentioned that sounds so good. Right. There's going to be a vegetarian in to real cheap is using the lean meat option. And the other one's the Philly, which I love because it uses the lean roast beef roast in our stores like every deli, and you just quickly, you know, heated up in in a pan as you're doing your your bread with your cheese. And it's got the grill Danielson peppers in it. And so it's actually a really satisfying rendition of the Philly, but you make it and literally three minutes. Okay. You're going to send this to Katie Katie is going to post it on case. We'll we'll call it a we'll call it a grilled cheese month. How about that? You got it. All right. That's Elaine McGee..

"I tell you something before she was the nutritionist and chief dietitian for albertsons? Safeway. She was our chief dietitian nutritionist here. On the cast of a morning show. She's authored a whole bunch of wonderful books on health available at Amazon dot com. She is Elaine McGee, Elaine. How are you? I'm great. Great. Great great. I know you wanna talk about allergies. So are we talking food allergies? Are we talking about food? We eat to help with our allergies from all the pollen and stuff in the air. That's the one bingo. Sniffles and sneezes in watery eyes. Oh, my yes. I'm pretty sure that we have a lot of listeners who would identify with this. This early allergy season is one of the worst. I have experienced personally in a bunch of years. So know, I'm doing the Claritin of doing the flow as I'm doing all this kind of stuff to help. What should I be doing food wise? They're probably a lot of people like me right now. There are in. And you're getting the right because some allergy medicines take a few weeks to be fully effective. Staying ahead of it kind of being proactive if you've found an allergy medicine that works for you. I think is you know, number one just a couple of things before getting food. People don't realize the pollen count can be highest in the early morning so important to keep windows closed in the house and the car just to keep us from entering your your sanctuary. Washing your hands and face to remove any pollen when you've been outdoors taking clothes off in a mud room. So to speak. You're not bringing those particles into your house. So that's like those of the other some of the other things you can do. And then what? I mean, some of this is it's all it's all good, right? Everything. I'm gonna tell you Brian is good for other reasons too. So why not right? Why not the number one probably the one with the most instant gratification is the warm fluids like green or white tea and the chicken soup. Where you're helping break-up congestion while you're eating this drafting or hot liquid. That can be helpful. Ito just making it easier to cough up keeping your mucus thin, keeping sinuses moist all that helpful okay? Right. And then salmon tuna, and those other amazing omega fish is thought to you know, in general, lowering inflammation in the body, right? There is some early evidence that it might be promising toward helping with nasal allergies as well. So you know, we talked about. Two to three servings of the higher Maitree fishes a week for your heart for other reasons, while now it's also for your interesting so could help with the allergies. Okay. That's you know, early evidence. Hey, my favorite thing is salmon sashimi. So that's why I've never congested. Go. To. And then vitamin rich fruits and vegetables, just you know, the accident, but there's some of those other plant compounds in the membranes and the piss part of citrus. That could be helpful so Hopi pulpy, orange juice or just eat the orange or the halo were because you're getting those membranes in the when you peel it, and you actually eat the whole way way good to know. Right. Yeah. And then in the other category are fruits and vegetables hind vitamin c and vitamin E. Your time getting a once you punch you've got an antioxidant. Fat soluble by day, which is a vitamin E. But you're also getting this antioxidant waterside vitamin vitamin C there. Appears to be some some sort of duality some synergy between those two. Broccoli and tomatoes have both. And there's some evidence that that might also ease swelling in your Airways. Are we should be eating those things? Anyway. Okay. So you said broccoli tomatoes. What was the other one spinach? Garden variety. Everything growing in the garden on it. Salad salad in the making right there. And then. Is a compound founded onions apples but also pepper berry. And personally there is some research more research is needed, but there can have like an antihistamine kind of effect, reducing inflammation response in the Airways. So those are all good fits to apples onions peppers, berries parsley, basically a garden. Okay. In california. Yeah. Lafayette, probiotic bacteria, working to keep the intestines in good balance. That keeps the immune system strong. There is some conflicting evidence that having this good bacteria in your intestines might also help allergy symptoms such as runny nose and congestion, where do you get this? You know, the Greek yogurt with active live cultures. Also, a lot of those products are out there other foods that are just for naked. And can be helpful is the sauerkraut kimchi Kombucha love that. But I really high on. Can I tell you something what I'm purchasing what Safeway as the Kavita? I love that sparkling probiotic drink. We've got one here in Boise. That's local called bid by and it's kind of lightly. It's not as sweet as some of the other ones in good come out flavors. Right. I mean, it's like today. It's lemon meant. Yeah. They have they ever really good strawberry. Kiwi one. I love ya. We're talking low calories. It's fantastic. But as you explained earlier with these those kind of liquid probiotics. They really are able to get into those innards pretty well, aren't they they are. And that's why I of you know, you want a few a few of those things in your diet to help balance things out the intestines. So not just the Greek yogurt, you know, sometimes, but also the and for people that have specific conditions. They can actually supplement with a specific strain. That's been researched to help a particular condition. Like when you're on antibiotics. There's a there's a specific probiotic that. You can take that helps, you know, not minimizes the damage that that any on antibiotics can have on your in your intentions in terms of good bacteria. But if you have constipation if there's no problems at all. Specific strains plugged up. Probiotics late. We're plugged up. We gotta take off. But thank you for joining us with all this great information. An ad from dad. All right. Save money on car insurance when you bundle home and auto with progressive take these off, right? What is this? This looks good. Wow. Where did you get this? I'm talking to you with the hair. Yeah. Where did you get this? Good stuff. That's not the near that solid stuff. "Recently updated their definition of high blood pressure. And so now, it's a reading of one thirty over eighty. Instead of the previous one forty over ninety. So that put a lot of people in that category of, you know, pay attention now, why did they revise do? They need more business or. Good question. I mean seriously. What was it? What's the reason for that? This is a little more stringent. I think they're going to say it's based on research and people that are at risk that hadn't been previously identified. But the good news is if it gets more people paying attention. That's good. Because you know, I'm all about change your healthy habits, you know, the early here. The better not when you have to change the abbot but being proactive, but. It's it's gonna be those monounsaturated fat. And I'll explain what that is. And the polyunsaturated fat, which is the fish omega three, but also the plants omega threes, and the reason we call them smart fats, those two categories it because they've been shown to help reduce the risk of heart disease. They may help reduce blood pressure, and the LDL bad cholesterol, and while helping increase the HDL good cholesterol. So where do we get these? Yeah. Where do we where do we get these? That's the question if they're so good for us. I want them. Yeah. Well, it's extra virgin olive oil extra virgin instead of just olive oil. Because it's the first press that makes that extra original is where you get the highest amount of those plant compound that that we always talk about Brian that are just so so important that are emitted into those the oil from the skin and the seeds of the olive. And then olives obviously, and then avocados and nuts and seeds says the groups some a the other oil semester seeds like canola oil and peanut oil. You know, have some of those monounsaturated fat to Elaine. I have to tell you something all these years, dummy me, I did not know that extra virgin olive oil was all of oil from the first press. I had no idea news. Yeah. So so that's why I always say because when I whenever I writer talked about it. I had no clue. We got a lot of people from the old country. A lot of Italian people for the country listening say suspect. What's the matter? You come on. Yeah. Extra-virgin? Yeah. It has to be go. Okay. Yeah. And you know, it's gonna be usually maybe dependence get the olive. And then I have, you know, canola oil for some of the things that I need neutral flavor or high heat or whatever, but the, you know, avocados probably had a big a big presence at those Super Bowl party. Yeah. Right. And then so polyunsaturated fats. That's where we're really looking at the Fisher mega threes. But also plan to make it three lease may lower heart disease, risk three different actions. Then the Fisher mega three. So it's all about either. Or it's about both. Both are good in the in the one walnut. I mean, the one nut that has the highest amount of omega threes is walnuts. And you're also going to get the plant trees from ground flaxseed. And again, I always say because if you eat it whole your body's not going to be able to digest it and get all the good stuff in the flaxseed. What's the matter? You come on. Yeah. Extra-virgin? Yeah. It has to be okay. Yeah. And you know, it's going to be usually Dr to maybe, you know, depending on on, you know, the olive, you know. You can potentially have bolder flavors. But you know, I love it bring it on. And then I have, you know, canola oil for some of the things that I need neutral flavor or high heat or whatever. But the, you know, all the does probably had a big a big presence at the Super Bowl party. Yeah. Right. And then so polyunsaturated fats. That's where we're really looking at the Fisher mega threes. But also plan to make it three lease may lower heart disease risk through different actions. Then the Fisher mega three. So it's all about either. Or it's about both. And then there's other plant foods that also contribute smaller amounts of omega threes, and that's like soybean tofu pecans broccoli other green leafy, but your big hitters are like the walnuts. Sounds like heated canola oil. But now all sorts of companies, including WalMart and even EBay or offering to day free shipping more than ever because we don't they don't wanna get Amazon. Okay. So so came on there goes that perk avantage run. Yeah. So I mean, here's the deal Amazon's able to do this right because they have a vast network of warehouses spread all over the country. So they're storing all the stuff you're purchasing. So they can make it easy. I make for example, we discovered this. Try to my son who lives in Switzerland. "Okay. So here is the KFC stores. And we ask why why I know somebody who I know somebody who asked the question why in the greatest fashion. Yeah. Every time we play that. We get the hate mail too. Encouraging it. So at this point. I just you know, like, I said, I just don't don't care anymore chain of fools. Okay. So KFC they plan to sell a vegetarian equivalent of its famous chicken. Now for those of you who. So those of you who are prolific meat eaters. You always like to say, it's really hilarious these vegetarians want all this food that tastes like meat. And it's true. I mean, you can go I. Thanks to all of these experts. We have of the program Dr freed, Elaine McGee. They've just wrecked. My diet. My diet is no fun any longer. I don't I don't eat the way I used to eat. Yeah. Probably better off for it. Yeah. You feel better you're gonna live longer. But I just I do not eat as much meat as I used to eat. Because the I hear these people they come on the program that keeps saying you dead. It edit editor, so okay. All right. I get it. I get it. I get it already. So I have been intrigued by so many vegetarian options which are tremendous, by the way, in many cases. But it is incredible. How many vegetarian options are meant to tastes like meat. Yeah. That is interesting. But Kentucky Fried Chicken. I guess I'm guessing it's going to be soy. And then they'll put the seasonings on it. And you're getting into the same the same idea. I guess I don't I don't know. It's tofu soy tofu. Let's let's see we got Bill Michaels. He's got the story. Cut h. KFC's United Kingdom and Ireland unit announced that it plans to test the plant based chicken with customers later this year. If successful could launch the product in twenty nineteen the vegetarian option as part of a plan to reduce calories by twenty percent per serving by twenty twenty five the plant based meat is believed to be the first time a major fast food chain is putting fake chicken on the menu. I'm Bill Michaels. Boom. Okay. Thank you very much. I'm guessing that plant based meters actually going to be not meet at all it's going to be showing. Maybe it's me that makes me think of like grass grass-fed cow, right? We're we're growing. We're growing chickens now we plant the seeds, and they just. The chicken plant coming along Brian over the transom. I just sent you something slightly. It's just as about as disturbing is what we're talking about right now in Portland. There's this place called homegrown. That's gone viral. It is a completely vegetarian. One hundred percent barbecue joint. No. They're giving you like tofu ribs. I mean, it's they have like what was it? Like they have like kale something else. I'm looking I have the menu right here. Sherri, I sent it over the transom to you. I I'm looking at it right now. I now I I for those listening. You know, who are saying you guys who just do like tofu? I eat it all the time. He to- follow time. There's a way to do it. I like it. Right. But I'm not sure if I'm ready for tofu ribs. Yeah. Or? Tofu? Yeah. Lanes combo plate. I mean to me this would be worth a try just to say what he's done it. And I want to know how much like barbecue this actually tastes. But if you want some ribs smothered in barbecue sauce. Well, then you gotta get ribs by there, Barbara, but there are some there are a few. I mean, there aren't many. But there are a few vegetarian restaurants that just knock it flipping out of the park. Yeah. They really do. Right. It'd be worth a shot for me. I'd say I want to try it. I want to try it. I want to give it a shot. But there's it's not going to be the same. But I'm gonna give it a shot. But it is this is the thing that's carries to me. Okay. I because again, if you're if you're of that persuasion, I have no problem with your Prager live longer than all of us. But the same thing I just find it interesting of the vegetarian options in so many cases are meant to taste like meat. Oh, and this this place. That is ironic, isn't it? Well, they want the taste without the guilt of killing probably go. And this place isn't isn't vegetarian. Excuse me. It's a vegan. They don't do anything. They have MAC, no cheese. Well, listen for those of us who are. Intolerant. Like, yours truly. Maybe this is something I need to check out. I mean, that's what I'm looking at. Because I looking at the food. It looks great. The nineties options the non cheese options. Like, I will. I will get the done she's options that or the the non dairy options, although they taste good there. It's just not the same not the same. It is the consistency. And you can't replicate that right? Oh, you can't. I mean, I've tried the the non cheese pizzas. It's okay. But it's like. Yeah. It's not terrible. But it's not cheese. Right. Yeah. I mean. Yeah. It's okay. It's just not the same. Right. Can I get to one more story, please? Where we go to break. Hey, you're the best to do with my my favorite company. Tesla. So if you invested this is how off the church crazy. Their stock is if you invest invested a thousand dollars and tesla twenty ten. Right now that same stock would be worth twelve thousand dollars. A one thousand dollar investment at twenty ten twelve thousand dollars as of today. That's incredible. What? And and again, I know, you know, those of you who do the financials and get it doesn't make any sense. Does it it makes no sense? The company has yet to turn a profit.
