It's diverse and it's inclusive because they let you legal them without penalty. Well, then how 'bout even more and the even safer and more -clusive and more diverse. And of course, everybody would be happier. And the more you bring in the more your crime rate will drop because she says the data is clear. Illegal immigrants commit less crime than other reprobate American. Well, foreign that make your city crime-free by bringing in even more illegal. This is the purpose of the experiment. You make them justify what they're doing. You make them singing the praises of what they're doing. And then you make them reject the opportunity for more of what's made them. Great. Which makes you scratch your head. Wait a minute. If legal's have made your city grade of safer and more diverse. What's wrong with more? Because Donald Trump is bringing them. Oh because Trump's behind it. I see. So it isn't really about the people you care about. I must take another brief timeout. Open line Friday, El Rushbo, back after.

But in states with an income tax should have to subsidize New York, and California and Massachusetts and Oregon and Minnesota and Illinois. His ridiculous when they were allowed to deduct those very high New York, California tax rates, that means the federal government collected less revenue. That why the CBO would go crazy over that? We can't have that. We've gotta make it up. They sure did in higher rates by undoing the trillion dollar subsidy for high tax states. It means federal tax payers everywhere. Got a rate cut, which they did it. Now takes much more money to be shoved into the next bracket. And that top rate was brought down from that forty two forty three forty four percent when you exclude the itemized deductions for most people most people in the twenties. Now, the the left the newfound deficit hawks. This is just too much. This is like these newfound Russia hawks. You know, where were where were these cold warriors during the Reagan defense buildup, but now all Russia's the biggest threat since sliced bread. I didn't know sliced bread was a threat, but it sounded good at the time. The point is now they're deficit hawks. There hasn't been a program. I was there that Democrats didn't wanna double or triple. The reason spending went up to four point one trillion dollars is because in order to get the tax cuts passed in order to go. But in order to get it up there, which it went much higher. Chuck Schumer says well, you gotta give me this this and this you were held hostage. But now these deficit hawks on the democrat side say all we've got to raise taxes to solve the deficit, that's odd. Because in Minnesota, we have a surplus in what's the democrat governors say, oh, we got to raise taxes, you know, that surplus may not stick around forever. But understand let me reiterate one more time before we get to the phone calls understand that good tax policy is not about collecting the maximum amount of revenue for the government. Good tax policy is about making certain you have the largest maximum revenue in your pocket economic growth, you can raise taxes and collect more money, but you'll do so at the expense of growth told you rather have a budget a federal budget that's flush with grow with job stagnant growing at one percent. Or would you rather have the federal government having to cut spending? So you can continue to grow in the private sector. You know? And I know what the right policy is the media and the left, but I repeat myself do not. So that's why this jobs report is so so encouraging as jobs bounce back to two hundred thousand one hundred ninety six thousand. Hey, did you hear about this in the first full year of the tax cuts, individual income taxes? Came in at a record level of one point six seven trillion dollars. Wait a minute. This is after the tax cut jobs act. Yes, it is in the previous year 2017, individual income tax receipts amounted to one point six five six trillion in two thousand eighteen after the tax cut jobs at one point six six five actually came in higher. Now, that's again, that's no reason for tax reform tax cuts. It just happens to be the fact that when you encourage savings and investment and growth, you tend to get more savings and investment in growth. The other thing I want to say about this. "Welcome back. My friends. Great to have you El Rushbo, would have my brain tied behind my back just to make it fair. You know, people have become victims of identity theft. They all say the same thing. They had no idea. What happened when it happened? Well, I mean, some people know when their credit cards stolen, when it's out of their wallet. But you don't need your credit cards stolen to have the data on it in somebody else's hands. It's one of the crimes one of the few crimes when it happens. The victim is unaware and can be unaware for in some cases months. One person season. Unfamiliar loan statement arriving in the mailbox somebody else reports a steep drop in the credit score and gigantic Bill on the credit card. Then a collection agency starts calling you wanting money. So what the hell is this? Those are all signs that somebody has obtained your identity and has made off like a bandit. Without you knowing anything about it. Identity theft is a silent crime. Nobody storms in masks makes her by lie down on the floor. Don't look up while I open the vault and run out with the stash. None of that happens with identity theft. You do not know when it happens. That's why I have constantly suggested lifelock as the premier identity theft protection available. Their service includes a constant monitoring of online transactions yours. I mean, there's nobody studying what you're buying. It's not that. It's the chart and the graph that your behavior online creates and when there are large variations in that. That's when lifelock gets in Gary calls you and asks you for responsible for whatever's going nuts in your online profile. If it's you you say, so and they go away if it isn't you that means somebody's got your data and his using it. And that's when lifelock gets into gear they have what's called a restoration team. And you get signed assigned somebody in that team to stay with you until whatever has gone wrong is fixed your reputation is cleaned up..

And it was wild speaking to King, Abdullah that Mike Pompeo said I saw an early version of the president's speech tonight. And then he chuckled. He's he's going to make a lot of news the truth about this is is that you have Lockhart saying, we need a fact check this while Chevy Trump's flying create chaos me, David, Gregory. So we're new we're going to fact check ordering they're scared to death folks, because they do not hold the factual or moral ground when it comes to what's going on the border day. No damn well that what's happening at the border is illegal is unconscionable is devastating the country. It's why they support it. They know damn well that Trump has every fact on his side, they are scared to death that Trump is going to persuade an increasing number of America's of what's going on. We already have polling data only. Seven percent of Americans think that what's happening with illegal immigration of southern border is not a problem. Ninety three percent do including eighty eight percent of Americans. The truth of the matter is the democrat party. And the media are scared to death of what Trump is going to say tonight. That's why they're ballyhooing the response by Chuck and Nancy. Trump has the facts on his side. They have heard what Trump says about the border. It has been a staple at every Trump rally, and it generates standing ovations it is filled with patriotism, the desire to maintain and protect America, make America great, again, all of that is designed to protect the law abiding in this country from people who are wanting we breaking the law getting in and then committing numerous crimes, including murder there is no way the president does not have the moral and factual high ground on this. They have been reading that. He would be what do a national address on this. And now it's coming another doing everything they can to distort it and destroy it before it's even given and we'll do so while it's being given. I'm Charlie.

"On talk radio five, sixty info. Welcome back, El Rushbo, having more fun than a human being should be allowed to have back to the phones. This this is Robbie from my adopted hometown of Sacramento, California. Welcome and I'm glad you made it through. How're you doing today? Hi, Rush Limbaugh. Great. Thank you. I'm a millennial and calling to suggest why many of my generation may feel that two thousand eighteen is the worst year ever to be alive. And my suggestion is that millennials as a generation as a generality have been taught tot to culture, a spirit of entitlement rather than a spirit of gratitude. And if you're always focusing on what you don't have you're bound to be miserable. Well, yeah. Especially if you combine that with the idea like you say, entitled what your own, you know, what what people should be giving to you or providing for you. And if you don't have it. Yeah. Then I can see that. And I also have a question at somewhat unrelated. But if you have time for it central struggling with so about about fourteen months ago, I became eligible for unemployment and then after that for disability, and my struggle has been the question is accepting an unemployment check or a disability. Check is that simply recovering money that I earn and that the government took for me took out of my paychecks, or is it welfare money, and then if it's welfare money, I would consider it thirty money, and I wouldn't want it. Well, unemployment compensation. On unemployment compensation and not by definition welfare money. It is your employer pays it actually anything that. You don't get that your employer. Pay somebody is actually your money, for example. I don't know if you've ever looked at this way. But a lot of people look at social security the FICO deduction on your pay stub or on your auto deposit ledger. You're told that you pay half and the government pays half. But you're paying at all if the employer if if if your total cost of employment wherever you work, I'm just gonna make some numbers up arbitrarily, let's say your salary is seventy five thousand dollars a.

"After El Rushbo from three to six it's all happening on talkradio six eighty WCBS. Okay. Very quickly. Grab audio bite number twenty six. Rick, scott. Justin appeared on the Fox News channel with Dana Perino. And the question was the question. What Broward County supervisor of elections renaissance knifes is saying is that they're doing all they can they have these additional votes. But is there some point along the way when these counties have to explain how they found these additional votes the day after election day? That's what we're finding out. I asked the Florida Department law enforcement to go in and investigate. I've hired the best lawyers in the country at Gibson Dunne. They did Bush versus gore we're all hands on deck bringing it all the talent we need to fight this to find out exactly what happened here. But we still don't know. And she won't tell us anything. So I guess this goes back to on Wednesday after the election people certifying in each county have to pay have to identify how many votes that were not have to have them all counted per, but after I have the total number they keep finding new votes here. Like from the schoolroom in Miramar. And what Rick Scott is saying is they won't tell us where they're getting these votes, and they won't tell them how tell us. How many there are? Well, he knows look Scott has a lot of resources. You know, what that means? I didn't know I hate I hate expressing my ignorance, but I look I'm not ashamed. I didn't know that. When people said, he's got plenty of resources, they meant money. And it's very roughly ten years ago when I did an appearance Terry Bradshaw, speak somewhere and bombed out. So they asked me to come in. I went down there. And I no I don't want any money for it. I don't take money for speeches. So it was introduced Mr. Limbaugh are using his own resources. What does that mean on my own resources, and he meant I paid my own way to get down there. So point is Rick Scott, Scott. And he has been very successful. He knows a lot of people in this law firm, by the way. I I'm not going to name drop. But these guys are sharp. It is great great news to hear that Scott has hired this bunch because the Democrats sent Marc Elias Perkins Cohee, and the Trump dossier, and all of that fusion GPS down there to help find some of these.

I'm going to ask you do you consider yourself a sociologist or the greatest sociologist of the century? I've never thought of myself. I I know some sociologists so great was like James q Wilson and so forth. I've never associated myself as a sociologist in terms of applied study or any of that white. You think that I am did you say I do. Let's listen to for a long time. And I've got a degree in sociology. Oh, okay. Abbas agree in professor that I ever had way by far. Give me examples of what you mean? Well, I guess at the top of the list, just your critical thinking ability your ability to be unbiased. And then you're just seems like you're so versed on religion politics. Classes of people technology language economics. Racial issues science. So you would say just to pick an example of that as as I analyze liberals and how they act and what they're gonna do or why they've done what they've done you think that is essentially understanding principles of sociology is instead of politics. Liberals, but conservatives also. It's interesting. I I've I've I. I've always thought of myself as a radio guy. I mean, I'm not trying to diminish what you're saying. I'm trying to honestly answer your your question. I I did too until about six months ago when I said Russia's sociologist, he's the best. Well, I'm adding that to the resume now. And you're not just the doctor of democracy or the best sociologist. Right. Right. This is this is cool. I've not even had people. Tell me that. I'm a political scientist, just you're the first that's attached. Any kind of such labeled to what I do. And you are a sociology. Well, how would you describe your associated? What does the sociologist do in your terms? Now, describe how you what your profession is. What do you do? I have a degree in it. I make my living by carpenter remodeling business. But I do pay attention to it all the time. All right. Well, thank you. I think. Yeah. Gray sociologists? All right. Well, I appreciate I'm trying not to be self conscious about this. You know, it's okay. Might going too far into sociology. I've never even thought of that. But anyway, I'm fascinated by how people think anyway, and and how they react. But that's I'll take as a compliment because I know that it was it was intended as such let me see what do we have? All. Yeah. We've got some great great sound coming up. One of my all time favorite people, Camille paalea. Back on October twenty second of two thousand sixteen. She was participating in a battle of the ideas festival. In london. And it's now available up on YouTube. She's got a new book out, and she thinks that modern era. Feminism has been a disaster for with she.

"Right as in the break there i got some news courtesy of producer mike that i wanted to share with all of you mike let them know oh when you're talking about the dirt i let it be now that i was listening to el rushbo earlier today and he was referring to alan dershowitz as that there should i mean i'm sure russia's recalling that for twenty years but i'm just excited about the only one i like it it's it's catching on now russia's do it at everyone's doing although he probably did it for the first time in like eighty seven but anyway alike it me you know what when i'm on the same same side of the issue was rush i know him in good company thursday but the thursday is making some very important points including this one and i want to deconstruct this with you in just a secondary here's what the pr the good professor had to say you can find evidence to create or manufacture crimes against anybody if you're determined to do that's what's wrong with the special counsel because they come in with targets painted on people's back and people like me and people like muller are gonna find crimes whether they have to go and try to tech find a technical violation of banking laws in on which they can hook stars or things of that kind and even your account which was obviously metaphorical in in part proves again if you're determined to find crimes against anybody you can do it that's why we have to restrict and women the application of the criminal law to clear unequivocal crimes and don't use it against political enemies in less the evidence is just overwhelming i've been trying to tell you then the dershowitz spot on this one and it really is an addendum to the process is the punishment but also they'll find a crime to punish too i remember when i was working on a terrorism case and we're looking at a guy bad at some let's say some very bad positions about us troops abroad and us foreign policy he happened to be of the islamic faith and there were some real concerns about him and i remember i was sitting there and there was a discussion with all the different investigators that were involved we're i'm i was involved the i was running the case actually and.
