That's enough of that already getting crickets because this happened. I think we should in the world. Try and give ryan locked e the benefit of the doubt. Right we've always said ryan lock is like floating gronk right. He's like swimming nodding so good. Their best friends spread makes sense. Like if grant could swim he would be ryan locked the nf ryan like you could catch passes. You would be like right. So good like lindsey if you were to do one of those souls switching movies okay and those two guys switched sold night on with no no one would be like if we switch soul if lackey jumped into gronk spotty and gronk jump deadlocked so locked just injured himself. I mean he tried to make it back for the olympics. I don't know if you saw that. But he tried and he just barely missed showing you how difficult it is to make an olympic team for any ethic. Okay does he now. No thirty seven. Great question. Thirty seven years old and he is recovering due to an apparent accident. An inflatable waterslide. Is that the most laki thing ever liked to me. they're better bit vodka. Going down that water slide. But he's gonna try and drink the vodka as he's sliding down but that is just he posted on instagram. Like you just life by the way just kyla read. I thought it'd be read but just say just say lindsay that you had an accident an undisclosed. We can call it a soft tissue accident in my right. that's true. Is anyone asking all of the follow up questions posed. They're being coy about it. That's so lucky It's like gronk tripping over a karaoke machine and landing on along with his shirt on one hundred percent like what so you so his life wrote i. She really posted a photo of him. Giving a thumbs up on a hostile. He's mike utley. Jesus christ in the hot and the thumbs up is what guys give when. They're carried off on a stretcher so we know they're not paralyzed thumbs up like locked. Don't give the thumbs up because you had an inflatable water slides. She wrote o- going into though. I wanna to know more about the. You can't just say you had an accident on an inflatable water. Sled and not be very specific about what that she's roll off the top. Don't race down and inflatable kids waterslide. Folks so all she wrote don't race done it so clearly. He was trying to some kids like again. He didn't make the olympics. He's got to get that racing out of his system. He probably was driving along and saw some like waterslide and was like. I gotta get in this right now. You kids are toast. And then he heard surgery was a success also. Wrote surgery surgery okay. Was he racing on his feet like could have been run down a waterslide. Understand how you could just pick up too much. Maybe he doesn't know how waterslide works. God blessed. I mean his wife crazy. We'll all right so let's move on so we were talking about You know the contracts in the nfl. And i think you know. The nba contracts are insane. I don't know if you've been following going on with the lakers and whatnot but dennis schreuder. Dennis schroder was offered like an eighty. Two million dollar eighty. Four million dollar contract to resign with the lakers. Now they sign russell westbrook. So no one's gonna pass no one's gonna pass anymore and to you might not get your reps. But he was like no. I can hold out. And he held out any held out and he wound up signing a six and five point nine million minimum contract with the celtics that may be a better landing place for him but he left seventy nine million dollars on the table. Practically that is a huge with ever proportion than his wife wrote. I'm so proud of my husband. And he made the decision to stay true to himself and to fight for his calls and his vision. spin like. That's when you need your spouse part of me that's like damn i love. How much is wife his fricking corner right now. Like it's writer died nine million dollars. Who needs that yeah. Let's be honest criticism. That's your money to girl. i mean. Come on bullets be honest k. Five million dollars also doesn't suck no like in the grand scheme of the world. Five million dollars is enough five million dollars if you play it right and you invest it right and you live wisely you can live comfortably and do cool shit. If there's one thing we know about most athletes is that they live. Wi- moneywise well. Here's my question then. Does he have the potential because not a big nba person anymore. So when you a say that name. And i've never heard it before and then be were throwing around that kind of money. That that that's the nba right in a nutshell third. But then but does he have the potential to go earn a bigger contract. It actually plays or is this may be a smart long-term investment strategy that there will be more money on the back end or is this like to literally cut and dry. You're gonna you're gonna make eighty two. I think he has the potential time explosive guard. He's got good size like a great sixth man. If you were to say like okay. Our starting point guard is down. We wanna give us bring intruder. And he's like an energy guy. Till i come in. And how he's kinda like in the english premier league soccer the guy you bring in the sixtieth minute. Who's great but you're not starting you bring him in at that point because you're like he's the energy guy off the bench to kinda get things going. I think he can keep working in the nba. And get like you could make me make another five million dollar contract but you will not see eighty two million dollars ever again and you could act to back them up. God bless her..

The Left Can't Stay Away From Donald Trump
"I saw a really interesting article that i wanted to share because it really kind of hits it all of the major issues in america. Today particularly in politics i sorted appeared in the hill was written by monica. Crowley president trump lift off a seven months ago but the pathologically obsessed left. Just can't quit him. Every left wing meteorology. Let's ceaselessly talks about and curses him like it's august two thousand eighteen get their six year. Long wild-eyed anti-trump mania has in many ways only made him stronger witness the most recent filings by his save america pack and the federal election commission showing trump raised an eye popping eighty two million dollars in the first half of two thousand and twenty one and has over a hundred million dollars cash on hand with which to influence the two thousand and twenty two midterm elections. No other former president has ever inspired and controlled that kind of political fundraising juggernaut. Additionally trump has been holding key meetings a batty's future described by his former chief of staff mark meadows as making plans to move forward in a real way with president trump as the head of the ticket rod on q. Of course lift as commentators came out in force climbing the baden administration investigators and prosecutors a boxing trump in and that. He's influences on the wine but as he's massey fundraising dominant poll numbers and huge crowds at rallies indicate this is wildly off the mark and another transparent attempt to wish trump away. You'd think by now they would have learned. That is a fool's errand but they haven't and one of the favorite wise to try to diminishing dismiss him is to ignore his achievements which they will never concede make him. One of america's most successful presidents

"The game has published by the pokemon company in its home market and mario gulf super rush sold one point three four million animal crossing. Meanwhile added an extra one point two six million copies to. It's total it's now sold nearly thirty four million copies worldwide and quote so maybe in the case of nintendo. It's a cyclical thing in terms of blockbuster titles being released or the lack thereof because for example ea beat their earnings estimates and roku saw revenue up eighty one percent year over year when it reported yesterday although it did note that streaming hours on its platform was down a whopping one billion hours quarter over quarter and pinterest missed on user growth in q two with four hundred and fifty four million monthly active users versus four hundred eighty two million which was the estimate so that even though it beat on revenue which was up one hundred and twenty-five percent year over year investors are really not happy at the implication that covert time usage surges might be over and the stock was down about twenty percent. Now i wanna be careful about cherry picking examples to fit this. Narrative uber and lift earnings for example seemed not bad and other good in cova. Companies are seeing their stocks. Hold up but still. A narrative becomes a narrative when enough people buy into it and there are a lot of companies that seem to be in the headlights of this narrative conversely on the good in cova times front. Maybe the quintessential cova times unicorn is hopping hop in was founded to manage virtual events of all shapes and sizes. "That that i think has generated the most interest there is that donald trump got involved. voters in ohio's fifteenth congressional district. Have a very long slate of candidates to get through in the special election set for august but former president. Donald trump is trying to help them make up their minds. He gave endorsement might carry. Who's a former energy lobbyist. And it's interesting for for for a couple of reasons first of all there doesn't seem to be any particular reason. Why why trump would have had to put his his name on the line here. Most candidates running in republican primaries are trumpy to to some extent and as and as a number in this primary but now the trump has jumped in his. His cachet is on the line right and we just saw. Actually trump endorsed candidate lose in kind of an odd republican versus republican special election in texas last week. I'm looking at the front page. Tonight of the texas tribune. And i'm going to read you. The headline which is in a major upset against a candidate backed by donald trump. jake z wins run-off for fort worth area congressional his his chosen candidate lost to the other republican. Who is in the who made the top two runoff. But what i think. The former president's political advisors are concerned about is if kerry his candidate in ohio loses on the heels of susan right his candidate in texas losing. There's this appearance of of him. Losing cloud in within the party and that that would be. That would be a big thing right like you know. The the party is is really his right. Now it's kind of fascinating here how you have one race. That's this big test of how progressive the democratic party wants to go. And you have this other race. That's a big test of how trumpy the republican party wants to go or wants to stay. What do you think. These two primaries reveal about the politics of this moment of the post trump joe biden era. You know the the democratic primary that we've been talking about brown Has has definitely kind of put a lot of weight on on the idea that she wants to go to washington to work with fellow. Democrats work with her party. Work with the white house and kind of contrasting that with turner's more or less leaning ideology and her willingness to call out people who don't who aren't living up to what she sees as as right based on that. And so you know. I think it will be somewhat telling what democratic voters in that district. Decide to to make that of that question. You know and it's a very interesting counterpoint to To to trump right where like if you know a republican candidate who criticizes trump in more or less anyway. Except maybe saying that. Oh they don't like the mean tweets like anything more substantive than that they usually get like bashed over the head with it in in a primary and then they lose you know. Turner turner could well win In a situation where everyone knows that she's not a huge fan of joe biden. and i. you know that that's kind of interesting right like that says lot about the kind of like different ways. The parties are set up at the moment And then you know with the with the republican primary outside columbus. I think again. There's so much there's so many local factories going on these. There's so much beyond who the endorsers are and stuff like that. But i think i think it does almost no matter the result i think it just does china light that like trump's endorsement is not the only thing that matters in republican politics right now the way the racist played out is kind of an interesting reminder. That trump is not everything. That's going on here. Even if even if his his kind of cachet and his influence online scott gland vic so much for talking with me. Hey thanks for having me also today. But in those cases he said individuals experience mostly mild or non-existent symptoms and noted that unvaccinated people have a much greater chance of getting infected in the first place and new federal filings. Show that former president. Donald trump's political committees brought in a whopping eighty two million dollars during the first half of twenty twenty one and have one hundred two million dollars in the bank the figures which were i shared with politico underscore the profound reach of trump's fundraising power and the scenario is virtually unprecedented never in history. "Shots to get them now. Congress may finally get to see former president. trump's tax returns remember. Trump has been trying to keep these records private for a long time like since before he became president but now the justice department says the treasury needs to turn them over to the house panel. That's been after them for more than two years. The house ways and means committee wants to see trump's tax returns from two thousand fifteen to twenty twenty during the trump administration the treasury department said the lawmakers didn't have a good enough reason to get them it said democrats wanted to see them for political reasons. Not a real investigation but now the biden administration disagrees. The committee wants to know. If trump had any quote business entanglements that might have impacted the former presidents decision making in the white house. The new justice department says that's reasonable so far neither former president trump nor his lawyers have commented about this latest request but they have until wednesday to respond and challenge the latest order. speaking of former president trump. he still has a ton of support around the country new federal filings show. His political committees brought in eighty two million dollars online in the first six months of this year and they have more one hundred million dollars in the bank. That's more than what any former president has ever raised in american history and is on par. With what the main political committees like the rnc and dnc are bringing in analysts. Say this money could be critical in next year's midterms and beyond trump has already endorsed midterm candidates. And he's been teasing a possible presidential campaign in twenty twenty four.

"Seventy nine dollars share today let that sink in twenty billion market cap. Let's equivalent adding a list or a slack to the market cap of your company. We never see this in silicon valley. But let's not forget. Professor cole takes had an all time on. Cnbc back in july two thousand seventeen just over four years ago today. Checkout professor gallo as ice cold takes. I'll see on the other side of the first thing mark zuckerberg. Thanks when he wakes up in the morning as must wipe snapchat from the face of the planet. And i believe the last thing he thinks when you call it the sleep at night is must wife snapchat from the face of the planet. So you have you have. I've said publicly. I think investing and snapchat is like driving drunk. Something no responsible person should do. You're handing your money over to a twenty seven year old with no rights in the stock. Three classes of stock accompanied it. Four hundred million in revenue and lost five hundred million and by the way has the most agile company in the world spreading snapchat like features across every property. What could go wrong. This is this company is in my view. The most overvalue company in the world. Right now. okay. They haven't folks misogynist failed entrepreneur and bloomberg canceled television show. Professor gives you another terrible call. Whatever he tells you not to invest in your probably should make a big bet and if he says bet on something you probably want to run for the hills snapchat was trading around fifteen dollars at the time and traded relatively flat until the pandemic eight of march twenty twenty which took off. You never want to bet against somebody like the founder of snapchat who came up with so many original ideas. he came up with ephemeral messaging. He came up with stories. He came up with snap goggles or spectacles. This is an incredible founder and incredible founders. Who create new ideas. He also Did lenses right so you you look at snapchat team. They didn't give up. They stayed really really focused. If you had faded property on this day you would have five extra money that's it. He is the worst picker of stocks. He has no heartaches it's all cold takes And on june seventeenth twitter user. Julie young broke down. The professor cole takes inverse. Etf which outperformed the snp by sixty one percent from october. Four thousand nineteen until june seventeenth of twenty twenty. You can find any of these. Incredibly bad calls He thought tesla uber left. Were all going to at his. His portfolio is just a disaster. This doesn't even include amazon. Okay so now when you look at how terrible cheese predictions are really nothing compares to his coldest take of all which is two thousand fifteen call. The future of retail. Looks like macy's not amazon. Let's take a look at that macy's and amazon five charts macy's over five years has lost over fifty percent of its value. Great take their profit. J in the future is losing fifty percent of your money at the same time amazon up almost four hundred percent in the same timespan my goodness just fade his bats and you will print money and if you remember just a few days ago bays got into a little bit of heat for thanking all of amazon's customers employees for paying for blue origin flight in east new. Pay for this. I really think he should be thanking. Professor cole takes for giving them the midas touch. Okay back to snapchat. They had two hundred ninety three million daily active users. "Pick for the business of football hall of fame the one and only sam bradford. He gets a wing. Let's go to another player. That continued to be opportunistic throughout his career. Never playing hardly chase daniel just a great reputation as a guy the quarterback room. You know what people don't realize about backup. Quarterbacks is they're not to try to get the job they're they're they're serve the starter and he developed that reputation in new orleans backing up drew brees in what a what a influencing was good in the quarterback room and now he's got that sterling reputation it continues to palm around. The guy has made thirty nine million dollars for. Let me let me just emphasize this five starts. He's made five starts. He's made thirty nine million dollars. He started five games. That's about eight million per start. It's a record that probably will never ever be broken. The number two pick right away coming after sam bradford. The business of football hall of fame is chased daniel. He now is doing that. Unique and valuable role especially to him tutoring josh. I'm sorry destined. Herbert with the chargers again. Five stars two hundred sixty passes for the saints. Chief segel's bears lines. And now charters amazing chase. Daniel definite member of the business football event. And we're doing all quarterbacks. Now i've eight quarterbacks and they're gonna be some missed the cut. I'll talk about that. The next one ryan fitzpatrick in simplest terms disguises survivor and opportunist every time he signed with the team. He's kind of the backup kinda place older but he somehow catches lightning in a bottle. He becomes the starter any sets up for another start opportunity which he's doing right now having played so well in miami being benched coming back coming back placeholder but better than place older and here. He is again another resurrection. he's a phoenix. He will start for the washington football team again. Eighty two million dollars seventeen seasons again. That doesn't sound like a lot but this guy is a survivor. A serve hyper never really picked to start but seemingly does ryan fitzpatrick football hall of famer. The next one's definite kirk cousins. Now this is someone who's played well and we'll get to some play very well but this is not someone you put in the pantheon of quarterbacks but his earnings will put them there they have and they continued to will and what. He benefited from so greatly. Is that the washington football team. Then the redskins would marry him. They would only date him. They didn't feel strong enough to put forward a serious offer. He could look at it. And say i'm taking that. And they never did. So they franchise tag him two consecutive years two thousand sixteen seventeen and then he leverage those numbers. Some fifty sixty million dollars worth into a free agent contract now. Quarterbacks like can like any quarterback they don't get two free agency he did. he.

"Have a great season last year. They have great season letcher because they went and they had eighty two million dollars of their roster on the injured reserve. They are one of the most injured team in. Nfl history and people forget that too. You know what this upcoming season. Don't forget don't forget back in two thousand nineteen when they were leading the league in points scored and leading league in defense. don't forget how dominant they can be. Because i think a lot of people are forgetting how dominant the san francisco. Forty nine team can be and a lot of people aren't picking them to win the nfc west. A lot of people are picking them to finish third or dead last and he know what no it. They're going to be a lot of people who are going to be eating their words when it comes to the production and the great value and what they can do coming this twenty twenty one. nfl season. And it's gonna be interesting. I'm super excited about it. Because they have one of the best rosters in the most talented rosters and the nfl that can go toe to toe with anybody in the nfl. And i guarantee you next year by mid season. We're gonna be talking about the resurgence of the san francisco. Forty niners and we're gonna be talking about. Kyle shanahan being one of the greatest young minds in the nfl right now because there's how do you fall from grace that that quickly injuries injuries. It all depends on the players on the field. He's a great coach but some people are not giving him the credit that he deserves. And you know what he is a flies. He's not a great situational play caller but when it comes to getting people and when it comes to gathering a group of men and influencing them and being able to lead them and motivate them couch and an is one of the best young minds to do it right now and we're gonna be talking about him up there with the best young coaches and the best head coaches in the nfl. This coming season. I guarantee you i guarantee because you give me full healthy squad you give kill. It can be jimmy and brandon. I you can deebo samuel. You can be a full healthy. Nick bosa who might be the comeback player of the year and he might be the defensive player of the year. People were sleeping on this team and you know what when it comes to mill the season people will recognize his team as one of the best in the nfl. People need to stop sleepy on this team. And you know what it's going to be interesting to see how they stack up against the seattle and stack up against the l. a. Because everybody's talking about seattle and la in arizona in the nfc west and you know what that's fine that the way cow shanahan likes it because the tension off of san francisco and let them do their work and they'll show you in the long run those show you why they're one of the best teams in the nfc west and they're going to show you why they're gonna make the playoffs next year and they're gonna compete for super bowl and you know what a lot of people are going to be eating their words coming next well coming up on the other side. We're gonna be talking about the next season. we're gonna be talking about the news. That just broke. That's really going to set the season off and set the season often bang. It's fourth of july weekend. Hope everyone's doing well. I'm brian iglesia. It's the simple. Podcast.

"You dive into the mind of a professional athlete whose accessible who has the career as tom brady has the ten super bowls. The eleven super bowls in one seven the the amount of success that this guy has just accomplished in his career. You think he would push back and his older age but it seems like he's going further and it seemed like he's going to the point where he's trying to find success and he's trying to find out motivation in every little detail that he needs to be successful but you know what you know. What at the end of the day. It's kind of like requested to that little kid. That just keeps on pestering you when you're frames. It's like dude. Just go away. Just go away to lay low. It's the off season. You have nothing to be mad about. No one's insulting you. You just want a super bowl. Just go away late low and just come back when you know. Training camp starts in july but no espn coupon running this guy out. Cbs keeps on running this guy. Out and b. c. keeps on running this guy out and running. Whatever he says he had bleacher report. Running this guy out and we're talking about it here on the podcast and just the amount of coverage this guy gets. It's crazy before before it's brady was barbed before farve it. Was you know john elway and before it was elway. It was joe named. But it just seems like these quarterbacks and it just seemed like these guys just make the most out of what they have in the career when it comes to little quotes here and there and it just seems like the media to gobble it. Up media describes it and it shows it shows with him shame saying these quotes and it shows that we're just so news hungry which so greedy when it comes to. We want every little breaking information. Oh he said this and he said that you can truly know a dead in the nfl. When we're talking constantly about what. Tom brady said and every little quote he said breaking down. Oh he said this. He said that it's like honestly just to go away. Just go away till the season starts. Because honestly i'm i have a. We have a lot of stuff to do. And it's i know you are thinking about this twenty four seven. Just go away. Tom just go away until the season starts. And we'll see you back in july twenty eighth when when training camp starts but it just a little much none of these people who are on the media none of these people on the other team. Don't respect you. they respect you tom. They respect to you. Have your respect you one of the greatest if not the greatest player to all to play in all time. You're one of the great quarterbacks of all time you're up there it just shows you're getting your respect that you deserve that too. Just go away speaking of respect and speaking of people who are not getting the respected deserve. We talked about running backs and tight ends. But let's talk about the coaches who aren't getting the respect that they deserve because honestly. Cbs came out with a couple coaches and a list of coaches top. Ten coaches in the league right now and there's some people on this list who aren't getting the respect that they deserve so we're going to break it down because i think that. Cbs is kinda wrong in this aspect of so cbs. Sports rank the top ten. Nfl head coaches in the league. Right now now you have your. I'm just going to go down through the list number. One andy reid okay. Yeah i can see andy reid. He went to back to back super bowls. He almost could've won back to back super bowls. If it weren't for. Tom brady going to tampa bay so number. Two bill belichick. Okay andy reid and bill belichick have been the staple of this generation's nfl head. coaching trio. We're talking about till the greatest coach who ever coat in the nfl in nfl history. We're talking the two coaches probably to be the best coaches in this generation in the twenty first century. Now the go down to number three. This were a heavies number three. They have john harp. I don't know about that. I don't know if you have john. Haubert over sean. Payton which was number four. sean mcdermott. Which number five. Sean mcveigh which was number six. Pete carroll number seven. Bruce arians the gist super bowl winning head coach matt leflore and mike tomlin That's the top ten. I don't know if you're missing anybody but me personally. I would not put john harbaugh that high. I put sean payton above him. I'll put sean mcdermott above him. But it's really interesting to see. People is ideal coaches in deal. Head coaches top. Ten head coaches a name. I don't see on there. Which i think is totally totally wrong. Where is kyle shanahan on you. Wear is kyle shanahan on his top list. This is crazy. That kyle shanahan is not on this top list. It's interesting because it's one person's opinion. Yeah i get that. But i'm saying my opinion. I would put cow shanahan on that list of top ten. Nfl head coaches right now. Now record wise. It's not the greatest but you have to look at more of it. You have to look at what he's gone through honestly he's gone through one of the worst rush fruit rough stretches when it comes to injuries remember last year to look back to last year. How can you avoid eighty two million dollars of their roster on injured reserve. You can't avoid that you really can't and honestly if you take any of these teams take for example. I don't know the buffalo bills shot mcgurn if you take eighty two million dollars of their roster and put them on i are. The bills. Are nowhere do that for any other team to that for the chiefs do that for the patriots to that for the packers. It's crazy to me that people forget how good this niners team can be and how good of a coach. Cow shanahan is now felt tan. Han this would be motivation for me. This would be motivation to get jimmy ready to get trae lance ready to get our guys ready for the season and just there's no. There's no better motivation. That couch any knees to slap this on the wall of his office. And look at the top ten coaches and look. How many coaches are in the nfc west. Look at sean mcveigh. Look at pete carroll. Honestly right now. I take cowshed hanover. Shaw may vary or pete carroll any day of the week any day of the week just the way he's able to get his guys and honestly it might. It's going to be surprising to some people. 'cause don't be surprised when the forty niners win the nfc west next year when there have a loaded roster when they have a full healthy ross. Now i'm saying this. And i'm saying this because we don't know what's going to happen but but if you have a healthy roster we've seen what they can do if you have a healthy roster with deebo if you have a healthy roster with nick bosa if you have a healthy roster with george biddle and all this playmakers they have as much town in this league that anybody acts thinking go toe to toe with the kansas city chiefs. They can go toe to toe with the tampa bay buccaneers. They can go with the green bay. Packers you saw. You saw with healthy roster. This team can surprise. Some people and people are gonna say..

Each okay so hard will be making over ninety one million over the next two years. Okay durant will be making over. Eighty three million over the next two years and kyrie irving will be making seventy one million over the next two years so if they don't get it done at one. What are these points here. This is going to be like a total. Waste of money by sean marks and joseph and everybody over there at the nets but the point being is that if you compare it to the isles the islanders and their empire roster of twenty six players the entire roster for the islanders cost eighty one million three hundred and fifty seven thousand and sixteen dollars. Wow so three guys are almost one hundred. Fifteen million twenty six guys are at about eighty two million data. that's marketable. is that remarkable or not. Yeah no it is the discrepancy right. So by the way the the the nets pay fifteen players. One hundred sixty six million double. What the islanders play. Yeah pay twenty. Six players and the penguins are the highest spending team in the nhl at a little bit over. Eighty six million and the nets are like the second highest paid team right behind golden golden state now way past the luxury tax threshold all right so it was interesting thinking. I was listening. steve. Nash said yesterday you know we have some things that we're working on behind the scenes you know to make The loss of kyrie irving and james harden less impactful and things of that and think like. What are they doing. They're trying to trade for like steph curry or something. When i mean it sounds like to me like that would be the that would go down. But but it's interesting though when you when you start looking at all this money and the amount of money that the nets have spent and really what they've gotten in return for that has been in you know they paid kevin durant the first year. He didn't even play. That's right right the second year now and then you also have curry irving who opted out. Last year in the bubble right also had an injury right but he opted out in the bubble..

When she announced she was joining the voice as a coach is going to be joining blake. Shelton john legend and kelly clarkson forsees in twenty one. She said that she's honored and excited to be joining. The voice family has been a huge fan of the show for a very long time. And you can't wait to go head to head with these incredible coaches and get to meet develop and no. Some new artists have fans will be excited to a does really melted down. She's going to be replacing. Nick jonas. This is a huge for the show an nbc. Let me just give you a few statistics here. Just you figure out how big ariana is on spotify. She's the most streamed artists of the deck. She has eighty two million followers on twitter. Which just is to give you. A comparison is almost double blake. John and kelly come bind myself. Says a telling me she's making the most of anybody on the show. Kelly at the moment makes the most she makes fifteen million dollars. They wanted to get her show. Particularly american idol was coming back. Very smart blake. Shelton ends around thirteen million dollars. Adam levine about the same member and miley. Cyrus was on the show. She got about thirteen million dollars to my sources. Tell me that they don't know the specific amount but they believe that ariana grande day could be getting twenty to twenty five million dollars a season which puts her on par. With what katy. "To that space and foreshadowing. I mean it's it is so miniscule. Now i mean they were reaching eighty two million households more audiences and probably new audiences. This was something different for disney. They weren't movies or cartoons animated features. You know now. They were reaching new audiences and that was profitable to disney Ultimately in february two thousand eight is said that. Espn was probably worth more than forty percent of disney's entire value which was just based on cash flow in the industry. You know this may be my but personally as a disney shareholder. My gosh. i wish they had sold it right then. Espn Sell high and figure something else out because lou. This is a much different story nowadays. Yeah i mean it was just crazy so this was kind of like the big boom but of course this happened in two thousand eight like brennan just mentioned it's not necessarily the same anymore with different streaming services but at this time they were doing better than fox sport. Thirteen better than cnn In something that i read they were doing like four times better than mtv davor. Just outshining everyone. And i don't know what exactly it was. That made it happen. But this is kind of where when you think about walt disney and sports. This is truly where they struck gold. This is where they did the best and it's interesting because then it bled over into something that we love so much and obviously you're probably familiar with then it starts to bleed over into the parks and specifically it bleeds into disneyland a little bit with espn zone there which they did have for a time period correct i honestly i don't know i really thought they did. And then when it came out of my mouth now. I'm thinking that the second guessing it but they do have. Espn zone at the boardwalk which we can have a discussion on that in a second. If you like. Within the biggest investment into the walt disney world resort became the espn wide world of sports complex. And to me this speaks volumes because this is the athletic complex. Still here in walt disneyworld. They built for when a million dollars. It's two hundred and twenty acres. That has nine different venues and it was previously just wetlands. Which again you know. It's it makes sense but we in that number one hundred million they put into building. He's sports complex. You know they must have seen again some serious potential for this. It was opened in march nineteen ninety seven and it was opened with what we were to bring this full circle. What makes the most sense a baseball game. So it opened with an exhibition. Baseball game between the atlanta braves cincinnati reds. Who won ho. God come on do you know. I don't know i hope. It ended in a tie in true disney. Oh because the spring training games they do allow those to end in a tie really. I would like to think that. Walt would want a winter here. Do you think he would have.

"Educate themselves on it because it shouldn't always be up to parents and partners and close friends because not is very personal to share. It needs to be something. Neutral needs to be educational first and foremost and really get the fox out because is periods can be very different to another pestis period and on the extreme level but can really starts erupts in daily life in causal concert conditions. Gay need proper education. What looks like yeah. Well i think that I think that. Pete we've been limited periods of just been conditioned that whatever happens during your period is normal like whatever happens they acting like. That's just bad luck. Like i pass out for my period like you want to get numbers control and and so we literally people will argue with me like Because i always say like suffering is optional around your period it is not normal and they'll like it is common just because a lot of people have it does not mean it's normal it means it's common like a lot of people have diabetes but we never say that's normal or like it's very common in the. Us thirty million people have it. It's the biggest cost on our healthcare system. But we don't say that's normal and when eighty two million people are like having bad enough periods to like miss work school. Pass out trying to kill themselves. We can't continue to say that a normal situation but i think that also Even what you said. Joe about everybody's period is different. Actually it should be pretty close to what i described. Any deviation from that tells us that there's an opportunity to listen so one person might say well. I have seven days of lean. That person's always gonna have clotting if you get rid of the clotting then you get rid of those seventies. It'll short into four days. If they only have one day of leading. They're like yeah. I'm so happy but the reality is that person's likely to be anemic right there either dehydrated or they're not consuming enough iron rich foods. You know they should have about four days of leading and so to say like this is not necessarily a pathology to have one day of leading but it is an opportunity for you to see that as a signal that your body's like i need more nourishment or a less training because sometimes people overtraining they'll get really scanty cycles and that's like we talk about biohacking. That's how you bio hack. You don't actually need a bunch of fancy test of fancy tools. This look at your menstrual cycle and other know your signs and symptoms in how you sleep and all those things but you know back to the normalization. This is something. I've been trying to say in every single thing because often on my life show moms will come in will. The girls are like how in the hell am. I gonna talk about this with my mom. They're scared to death to talk to their own. Mother's about it then the moms come and like how the hell am i gonna talk about with my daughter and then dads will come in and say. I'm a single dad. How the hell am i gonna talk about this with my daughter. And i always tell them. Everyone's shitting their pants about this. So i always tell the girls unlike you be brazen as when you get your period you have transcended from ordinary human to superhuman. You can make a human out of two cells when you start having a period and that is fucking cool. That is nothing to be ashamed of. And when i wrote my book seeing red i really wanted to call my book title. Fuck al gore and global warming when the menstrual been bled drives up were dead but They wouldn't let me use that la- true. We pay global warming. I don't wanna be mis quoted or misconstrued. Global warming is very important. And i am not a. I believe that is a serious problem that we need to address. But fertility rates are declining. Menstrual cycles are getting worse. And and if we don't do something about it will continue to work get worse and we will continue to miss the opportunity to you know. Take care of women and improve their fertility So the thing that families can do. Don't wait for the talk. Don't say like when are we gonna have aren't.

Our national guard protected the capital from nothing These guys have been sleeping in parking garages and sleeping on the floor of the capitol yet. They're going to house. Outsiders in hotels I don't get the i don't understand it you know. What are you hearing about. The fact that biden took a shot at putin over in russia and putin's response classy. You know russian response was all right. I've loved this guy. But i want to do it. Unscripted on light. Tv and that's the way we ought to you know and you gotta love the guys enthusiast and i was thinking you know what i pay. Good money see that shit. You know what i mean. I'd love to see that. I'd like just as bad as i'd like to see nancy. Pelosi fall river full of piranhas in swimmer way out. I'd pay good money to watch that. Just like would with biden debating each other on stage or even if it's You know skype or whatever. The case may be unscripted. I'd love to see that. But the question i have with threat. Why did he take a shot. Why did biden ticket shot at. Russia and china well series. None of us ever take a shot at our company that we work for. There's a rule in my household that says he who has the gold makes the rules. We don't make wisecracks about our companies on here because they pay us. Biden doesn't make wisecracks about china because they pay him they have. The goal was listed. This the put it out. That was the question for you guys. But i am the opinion that you know we all on the show. We all know that by is not all is not mentally capable of taking of things To run this country we all know this is not a surprise. This is not something that we woke up. one day is all found out. Oh shit he's can't do this job. We've known since before the election. He can't do this job. I'm wondering just how long it's going to be. Because i think that same report where he took a shot. At russia part of putin's response was to pull his ambassador from. Us oil you. How many times have we pulled. Ambassadors from places like yemen afghanistan saudi arabia. We're happens media after we end up right him start. We kicked out the mud. Tiny's ambassadors out of houston right here not long ago. Remember that i do. And what typically happens after we start kicking ambassadors shit starts at. Let me start to talk about warrant. Rick what are your thoughts. We're looking at Looking at this as being a worldwide stage now and everybody in the on that stage worldwide knows right now that we are the most vulnerable that we have ever been in the existence of this the states of america off. They know that we have the weakest administration. They know that our military is hamstrung. They can't make a move and they know that through the immigration. It's happening right now. That is the way that they're going to be able to make a move towards whatever they wanna do tonight states because there's nothing we can do. We don't have the people place and it's sad because our boys are women are very vulnerable right now and with the actions of what's happening in this administration right now. It really pisses me off to think that some of those men and women may be going into harm's ways real soon. No and i agree. And i think that if we don't get some leadership up there that can handle this stuff and move in the right direction we're going to be up shit creek without a paddle. I think we're already halfway up shit creek. We're working our moon second one. Yeah we're going in circles when we when we elected that idiot as president. We took a right to go up shit creek and we lost one of our paddles. And we're rolling in circles headed up there again. Yup which kind of brings me to my next hot topic. Let's say that we do end up in a war. Let's say that. For the first time in the history of america it ends up in our shores. What about the new gun laws. That were passed. Where does that leave americans with the ability to defend themselves so right now i know that you really gotta register like if they want you to register you guns. I wouldn't do that because that right there. You know tells you tells the government that you have for one thing As they can give them access to wear your guns are and where they should be tells they can tell you who to give your guns. You can't trade him off to. There's a lot of things you can buy a gun legally right now. That doesn't mean that you have to go out there and registered that gun because if you do put on watch lists and once you put on a watch list when he started outlawing certain things then you gotta start thinking okay. Well just outlawed gun. I'm registered now. I gotta surma thing in what the government don't know you have is a good thing in they don't even know you have. It's not up is not their business to note you. Have i mean. Unless you're sitting on a abrams tank or something like that. Okay i get you know. It's a big ass machine right if you've got.

I guess i wanted to start off tonight kind of talking about what's going on down at the us mexico border rick. I know that this is kind of a far far deal for you. You don't really. i don't know if you don't see it or you don't feel as much as james and i do. But what are your thoughts on it. Being three removed from the border guys. It's coming right up. I thirty five okay. Flowing right in to the center of the united states in every town that they can be dropped off in every house that can hold eight or ten people. It's affecting all of us it's affecting jobs it's affecting people. It is affecting the way that commerce is done as far as groceries. Our welfare system is completely overloaded. It is unundated with families of six eight ten twelve kids in a family. We just just called last week to ask about that. And the lady that. I spoke to at the wichita department of child care. Services said that they give up they have no more resources to give out and yet they're still more coming. You read a report. Today that said in the month of february and everybody knows of february's a short month there's only twenty eight days. In february. there was a one hundred saying that came across the border in twenty eight days. One hundred thousand. That's thirty six hundred people a day streaming into the united states. Yes and we're looking at one point. Two million who are year. That's correct over the next four years million. Yeah so we owe nine line right now yes we are and then. We have our our leadership. I wonderful president and his staff who were saying that the border is not in crisis. James kind of care to comment on that you know there. There's the panel. There's a panel going on right now so let me There's a panel going on right now in dc trying to figure out what to call this thing besides a crisis There literally is. They're trying to figure out what to name this thing because they don't want to use the word prices but lynn you deploy fema which is federal emergency management. There's an emergency going on okay. In whether they want to admit it or not you know. Hey it's all trump's fault so they said this not again. I was You know the policies he had in a place that the border this mad. It's all his fault. Well you know it was also trump's fault that the air force one steps were not as thirty. They should have been because you know by trip. All going up this and they did rebuild steps and air force in a stupid about that but this the end the border thing is all his fault. I kind of beg to differ. Because you know we haven't had this problem and when you have immigrants and illegals at the border wary biden t shirts. They're wearing fighting lettuce in t shirts. helped me understand how that somebody else's fault. I don't get that that just doesn't add up to me So in the meantime they're They're shifting so today They spent somebody down there. From the parvin holiest dirty and this guy went down there and said okay. We're gonna go ahead and close close the border we're going to close out about everything's under control down here folks nothing to see here. Don't worry go ahead move well. It kinda doesn't work like that because you might be able to close the point of entry but all the points that were being built to secure the border. You're not floats. They're still coming in and they're not turning anybody away and the bringing kobe and see the united states it looks his just not just for. Mexico is not just folks columbia for people from afghanistan in Wait i This folks have gathered from iraq land in chicago and crossing the border and They're getting in here. Who knows what's going through. Somebody's people might be legit. Some of my be actually looking for a better opportunity but on the other hand we don't know because some of them may be terrorists. Some of you know fat folks across that border. We have no control over it right. Now and fifty percent of our drug problem in america is coming there are crystal methamphetamine and all that other good stuff is coming through the border right. They're making everything is just gonna get worse now. I wanna i wanna make a comparison here. If i can james what did you say. That number was annually. One point four million one point two at the rate is going right now. One point one five or one point two million annually that is double the amount of deaths in the united states from the pandemic. But this is an emergency. Who's reading several articles today on. What's going on down there. And you know they're talking about you know when somebody comes across the border. They're detained. They're supposed to be detained right right. While they're being detained they assess whether or not they are political refugees or whatever the case may be they have gone as far as to get hotels for these people can make a comment on that real quick. Yes sure it's an eighty two million dollar contract to the hotel industry in the next six months. I just got that information this afternoon. "A hundred sixty million dollars dak prescott staying with the dallas cowboys. What do you think about that. Seventy five million. In the first year he seventy five million he literally took jerry. Jones bent him over the table engaged. He deserves it man. he's he's really good. I don't understand why it took him so long. He actually turned on contract last year. That would have been a lot lower and surprisingly got more after. He shattered his ankle into a million pieces. But he's gonna their their star quarterback for years to come like i don't. I don't think the same coach is going to be coaching him. In a year to economic mccarthy is terrible as a coach he is in a whole different world when it comes to offense in a bad way but yeah i mean. I'm glad they got it done. I don't know how. I i always hear people talk about the cap situation and football and then stuff like the mahomes deal happens and then this happens. Where they got zeke. To marty cooper and i'm like everyone tells me all the time that these cap situations are held. But how are the cowboys able to pull this off right. I don't know that. Of course i don't know that that aspect of it. I do know what the the cap this year is at one hundred. Two million hundred eighty two million dollars is obviously a lot less than the. I think it was almost two hundred last year or the year before whatever. It was something like that. But it's a big change going into this year with the free agents that didn't get tagged org they get franchise tag this year so they'll hit the market. You're soon but but i mean dax contract absolutely huge but does that make them super bowl contenders for the next four to five years. I don't think so. I i i think is simple as like the washington team. Even signing cam newton. I think they start still the favorites in the division at that point will they have to be because their defense their defense. And then you know. Terry mclaren's awesome antonio gibson is gonna awesome step forward like i think washington is the best team in that division right now. All they need is a quarterback. So right and ron rivera cam really well. Who led you into into the playoffs. pretty much bomohs beat brady in the bucks. Yeah almost beat them they. They were the toughest team if you think about it. They were the toughest team in the playoffs to give the bucks a problem. Yeah and that's the defense. You know what i mean..

Nintendo Switch Outsells the 3DS
"Switch has sold seventy nine point eighty seven million and that is hell of a lot and the nintendo switch light has almost surpassed the sales of the we. You just the light. Why oh man. Yeah that's a it's a big number it is. It's pretty incredible. Just just like think about the the roller coaster ride that nintendo has been on with insane success of the we the we and the insane crater of the we you not that again. We have to caveat. There's every time we say this financially. I still think that system was really fun. Rain like it was a financial disaster or at least a sales disaster and now this is like they're on top of the world. it's it's insane that trajectory. It's really really yeah. I think honestly. I don't think it's hyperbole leads to say that in japan console warsaw and no. It's the what was it so far this year. Ninety nine percent of all software sold in japan was for the switch right eighty and like hardware was and what is important to note he is that intendo always dominated the handheld sector in japan and that market has turned away from consoles quite a bit right and so in a way. It's a sad story right if the. Ps five dozen succeed in japan. That's a bummer. Because we might get fewer titles for that platform from japanese deaf students. Or maybe they'll they'll be serving more kind of like the western tastes but either way something could be lost but It's obviously really good for the switch. So i looked at the data Their nintendo still expecting to sell two point. Four million units in this fiscal year. Remember that fiscal year ends in march. It's not a calendar year. Which means the entire year for the intended would be twenty six point five million so that stacks up with how the we did back in its heyday. Like the i think the fourth year for the we was like something around twenty five million so the switch will be doing better than the we however in. This is the thing that i think. A lot of people are ignoring at the same time. Nintendo back then sold thirty one million. Dss right and so. We have these The hamilton the console lines are combined into one. And so it's not exactly the same scenario and so fewer pieces of hardware being sold in japan. I'm because we have one console race now but what it means like at the end of the year you know. I mean first of all at the end of the quarter. You'll be seeing the the switch. Probably clock in at eighty two million sold worldwide which means it is ahead of the psp which was a big success in japan. It's ahead of the gpa. Which was a big success. Everywhere in is right behind the xbox three sixty so the end of the year will probably see the switch ahead of the three sixty and the ps three. And i also wanted to mention that. New horizons is reached. Thirty one point eighteen million sold so it. It's very close behind the best selling game so far. Which is mario kart. Eight deluxe which is at thirty three point. Forty one million. Which i know we've talked about before because this is a week game. We don't crazy so we might actually see a made for switch game take over the first slot sometime. This year with a wonders never cease game specifically aid for the nintendo switch. And not the we i. We talked about the blessing. And the curse of mario kart eight selling so well because it's like nintendo has less incentive of cranking out. Mario kart nine right. Yeah but but but hopefully hopefully not hopefully they think they can do those numbers again with the marcotte nine with completely different tracks and all that i feel like i would have to write. I know horse. I'm sorry to bring this up on blue. But i i saw you talking about elegies mansion three has sold more than a lot of zelda games in the past. Yeah which is. I think that's really cool. I mean you just mentioned three again if you are. One of the one of the switch owners are listening to this. Podcast does not has not played it. You make a huge mistake. There's a reason ten nintendo boy that studio the last game is a huge step up from the original. Luigi is mentioned which was developed in house by nintendo and a huge step up over the the second game. So i think that's really cool that we're seeing this sort of success on you know mario's little brother and tall brother. Whatever he is. Basically the macy of mario felt. It's true and i. I've noticed that now really really cool. I am on those swift owners. Who has not played louise three so i think it's worth it. It's

Robocallers slapped with huge fines for using spoofed phone numbers
"I love hearing it when people get their just deserts, robocalls have become a scourge in recent years, and they've only grown worse since callers figured out how to fake consumer phone numbers, making a call appear to come from somewhere near you. No one's had much luck stopping them, but the FCC is finally close to issuing a fine against someone using this tactic. The commission announced recently that it's proposing a thirty seven point five million dollar fine against the company based in Arizona that allegedly made two point. Three million telemarketing calls under false phone number's one woman whose phone number was used said she ended up getting five calls per day on her cell phone from people complaining about being spammed the robocall campaign started back in twenty six teen and ran for fourteen months stray to Cording to the commission. Some calls are also said to have come from undecided number. Or numbers from burner phones which would also violate caller ID laws because the actual colors is name and number were hidden. The FCC says, this is the first major enforcement action against a company that apparently come and derived consumer phone numbers for now, the fine remains a proposal which the accused company will have a chance to fight or settle. The calls were said to be made by a company named affordable enterprises as a way to sell home remodeling services. In addition to proposing the fine against affordable enterprises. The FCC is also finalising another robo calling fine today. This one is against the specific telemarketer who was selling health insurance. The commission is finding him eighty two million for making twenty one million robocalls. Those calls were also spoofed to show fake numbers, but they relied on an assigned phone numbers instead of numbers currently in use. These finds could help to deter other bad actors, but ultimately they won't be enough. Many robocalls now originate overseas limiting what the FCC can do to fight them. Instead, the commission has been leaning on phone and tech companies to help out by giving them leeway to block calls that appear to becoming from spammers though at least so far that obviously
