And you're seeing juries. That type of guy were like Oh true would have no problem of Franken. Then never even letting on. Don't know it'd be like it'd be like we got an old age home. We gotta ask I gotTa ask you fucking curious. You mentioned my career. You GotTa have some awesome stories about him and you said he was. An incredible team truck used to truck like he would. When I was there at at Byu like Jack Park used to give the head of the night like it was like a sticker back. Edit decal get decal and you know when I say like they should have just gave him a sheet of decals at the beginning of the season. Like just apply them when you need to like whenever you want. Here's two hundred hits of the night. 'cause he for someone who is like like the agility that he played within the size that he played with and he could play any which way you want it. That was the thing that was scary about Mike like he was good down low. He was good on the rush Sodas holiday look like a worse. Gator that he actually was. I think his skating better. His I remember at Saint Sebastian's we played against him in high school. You just raw and but you know I think a hats off to Mike Boyle and in staff you like when wh- when I when I saw him in in played with them I wasn't when he was skating at me two hundred miles an hour in your download drill train tracks five wrong to say his form didn't look unreal out there. Oh No I don't think he's. Skating was ever considered like his main strength. But I think he figured out a way to be able to like still running is over and score even though he wasn't a great skater. But I think my career would still be you know. I knew we had a lot of knee issues and to injury stuff but he would be in that category of guys which I always completely amazed at like if you will play in nine ten years ago considering where the speed of the game is going the agility zeal. If you're still playing like Patrice Berge Ron and Co Petar and like some of these other guys. Ron means that they're still playing like he would be in that thing he'd be like all right. I'll figure out a way to carve something. Greasy also is a guy who never drank but we still gotta go out every night with the last guy. He does really. I think it was cool. Like he knows all still hanging around. We might have talked about the first time with you but I can't remember how sick J. Pandolfi wasn't college. Oh my God. Jay Z went on to be such a checker people. If you don't know I mean great defensive for won't go back to go back to how good he was. He scored a natural short handed. Hat Trick I believe against northeastern where Ben Smith was the coach right before the bean pot and the northeast and went on the power play and the coach. Ben Smith said to the wrath was like. Yeah we'LL DECLINE BECAUSE PANDAS. Going to score and natural shorthanded hat trick in the first period three shorties in the first period and he just had like one time he was so be his stability skate shoe watching those forget and how good he was which would go back to when you had Marty Turco on and we played Mario Turco in the national championship. In how dowdy will I'll they'll dialed in Jay. Was that season I mean. He's scored like it seemed like every every other shift he like you know. He had a shot on net indoor goal but Turco He. We never saw him Play comes across. It was kind of a lazy play one timer which is on initial rush and I was like oh we go one nothing and like Turco like blasted from post to post gloved. It was he was opposite glove. Wasn't he no? He was a radio trying to stick over to play the parts and then like Jay Pandolfi Turco snapped it out of the year. In that instance I was like the. It ain't happening tonight no way. It ain't happened just playing a goal that you guys hadn't seen seen just how dialed any was in. Our thing was to get in on the four check against that team in like we kind of power play the PA and he like I think of it like in College. All of a sudden you get into a situation where you can't like like positionally dump it and put it to space when you've never done it. The whole thing is like people act like well. Why don't you just jump into the right areas? It's like yeah but we don't get psych looking back in time it's right to the best coaches are able to slow down time at a just in the midst of a game one just because maybe they're just naturally good at it as a player and they've seen before and or they're able to adapt that quickly and more more time? It's the guy who's experienced at the hard way I Business Guy that I think. I don't know it'd be fan. Islanders fans know Shawn Bates Bowdoin. I I've always been told that he would have all this gear undone and be out of the room before Parker even came into his post game speech. No I absolutely this whole. He'd have hit run with the family of like thirty five and they would be a petits pub. Just wait for Sean to get there to do a dance and just be dancing the dance floor but the things lovable. Obeidi awesome teammate. Just to see like the quintessential city kid but just a sick athlete like you like. Oh what school did you go to like? I've never went. Never been to a hockey school justice. He's probably a better basketball player. We used to number per day. Hossan so we do for conditioning. We couldn't go on the ice because NCWA rules so you try to build in some type of competitive conditioning. So we do like line changes and basketball. But then the basketball team came down. And then played with them. Could Dunk like y'all could dunk dunk a basketball and five nine nine five ten. But he's legs are like tree trunks. Yeah he is unbelievable but he one of those guys like play. Pick up basketball as a life like he played on like almost like a semi professional softball team just a cast of characters. Brought him up here before. Talk about those types of Joe. Pels he just yeah like what? Is this a tennis racket? You know what I mean. Don't play so I remember. Beatty was notorious and so the only time I may Jack Parker really laugh..

I drift in their few years ago and gone out fucking. Listen wait and I'm going. I don't know if I want to pay the eighty sheets a month or whatever it is or the Hindi or the sixty bones. You know to probably won't last doing you know and he'll go in there. Okay what's what's the deal here. It's ten dollars a month as what. Yeah and then drops to five after a while five bucks a month ten dollars a month we should get them as a sponsor because I it's just the best deal ever so there's no locker rooms okay. But there's tons of treadmill guy that's all that's all they do want to get there. Do you smoke glare on the treadmill. Nobody smoke right after right there about like I told you I'm I'm a feature. When the guy goes watch him go now watch them go? Boom cigarette after running in for thirty or forty minutes of the doctors would say about that. Like if that's a complete waste of time like or is it even worse than if you had done nothing Steve. That's not even courage men and support. What I'm I'm generally asking? An open ended question because I am concerned and I'm concerned that when you do your treadmill thing that all the passages opened up nicely in your lungs and it looks like looks like gyms going to start treating US better and it's receptive accepted all the goodness and then all the sudden jamming the tar and nicotine and it sucks it right up thinking everybody's healthy now. Well what what. I am a bit of an over reactor actor Steve Okay. So there's people in this th there's like a weight section at the back okay. We're all the muscle heads. Go All these guys are pumping iron. And then there's there's there's always someone who's like ripping along on the treadmill at like nine miles per hour marathon stuff you know and I and Donald I'll walk by before I start. Look at their miles per hour thing right and then I'll I get online last night and I'm going to three point five. You can walk past rights okay. So so in fact I'm sort of checking it right and doing the trot right. The the GYGI JOG jog. He can't say Gygi Jog and get away with that. I'm doing my feet or slamming down onto the treadmill. I'm like tired right away. And then you know this guy beside t- whipping along look and see. I've started to suck wind a little bit. They're pretty quick last night. And then I start to make noises like like I'm about to hit my twenty second mile or something and I'm really I don't know just over a quarter of a mile in and the people are laughing at me Steve. I'm like I'm trying here. Okay I just want to just trying to get in shape you know and people are laughing at me off. Oh and the other thing CBS's so that's okay because I would laugh at a bunch of people there too and because all these muscle guys you know I got in trouble and because they walked by there and they'll post oh Steve. They'll pose when they walk by the mere they stop right and they flex the shoulder They'll wear the muscle shirts you know. Make sure you can see the arms and all that stuff. But but all of them Steve have legs the size of toothpicks. Okay they don't lie. They don't like to work on their legs. Steve they want for the for the for the broads for the tomatoes for the cheese. They want the girls for the girls curls for the girls there you go yeah Nice. I can't help myself Stephen and I you know when the couple of them walk by and hang on. Make sure you don't fall over there. Okay you don't have much older than that up a little Zinger stevie okay. You're giving people zingers the gym giving I'm giving people singers at the gym as they're looking at me you know running and that's like showing up to a gun fight with a knife right. No so to think Steve Air Internal Lose weight. So I'm I'm to eighteen or something like that at my worst. Okay Hi dear I for some reason I go up three or four pounds a day. Sometimes I don't know why yourself in the morning your your lowest weight so but I'm about to fourteenth Stevie this is the worst idea in the world is to ever bring up. I'm on my way to quit smoking on a diet or I'm you know I'm starting to exercise because it never lasts but this one's GonNa last this is GonNa last. What can I do to help you along? I'M GONNA I'm GonNa you know I'm going to do a report. Everyone a little thirty second report on my fitness regime and so going to try and little last night my my third good night coming up Steve. Not eating past seven o'clock I did. I've done it for two nights. That are all those concerns because they know a lot of good listeners. Take great pleasure sure and entertainment in the erosion of your body. If you're going in the other direction we might lose listenership GONNA try. Something comes into my house and I'm going. Yeah look I can't believe I'm losing weight. Two boxes of Captain Crunch six doughnuts Safeway and pick up a little thing and then the the. The Jar are sitting on my counter. The jar of peanut butter jam is there with a bag of English muffins. Think I think that might be step one before even bother with the gym. Take a look at what your cramming into your word whole. Yes whether it's nicotine and tar whether it's sugar and grease you need to stop up all that I don't understand undersell nicotine and Caffeine Steve to go on a diet okay. It's a great substitute for eating. Okay bunch of coffee and cigarettes switch to black coffee and I'm doing this. Intermittent fasting and changed my life like nodded all in terms of like missing facing stuff. It's the right line is basically. Don't eat from eight o'clock at night until about eleven. AM The next day. Just the only thing I can have is black black coffee and I don't miss anything that's good then the eight league normally the the rest of the day Hey nachos great bring it on exactly exactly you know. Here's here's a here's a couple of things. Okay skinny people. Steve can fuck off with advice on how I should exercise. Well I I'm a big fan of. Hey when I ask you for advice no matter what it is whether it's my Goddamn golf swing or about weight loss advice. I'll ask you bought it but I don't know volunteer. I don't WanNa hear like I'm chatty Steve. You don't get going now I see. I'll go for a little run every night. A little couple miles. It's GonNa take me half an hour for sure because that's our you know it's GonNa take me that and then I chat Gosse. Hey how's it going you know. I haven't seen her before right and I'm like yeah man I I got to lose some weight. Wait I smoke a pack a day and and they're they're pretty good way to go. Hey keep her up Paul. What's your name Big Jim? I'm big Jim and what's yours is like I'm I'm Hans from Germany and the guy looks like a fucking Greek God and so. That's Nice Steve Right. And you see these people every night. If you go at the same time right which is great. you know hey Hans how seducing are going to see all that stuff and then what happened Steve You guys. Hey Hey proud of you now you get that from right proud of your way to go man good to keep it up keep it a great day. Four or five Steve. Okay on the Han shows up again starts to walk over to my treadmill and starts to tell me. Here's how you should exercise Jim. Okay listen let's put the let's. Let's doing ascending ramp. Okay can raise the ramps on the treadmill. Let's get you doing some interval stuff. Maybe we're going to get you over hidden away. No fuck off Hans Okay. We're not doing anything anything. I'm doing my little job here. I can't stand it but it that's probably true with you. You're the kind of personality you don't really want advice about anything for Noah's part it's not just exercise. I would suggest that you'd have your car breaks down you've got the hood op and you're looking at it. You have no idea what you're doing you still don't want somebody to come along advice right. I mean if you did something Steve. Okay although although I am intrigued by some people I got a buddy came over the other veins like fuck. You've lost a lot of ways. It's like twenty five pounds. This was this interesting. What he does is for half an hour he he runs he starts he? He walked for a minute. The so you started Steve. You Walk for a minute and then you run as fast as you can for ten seconds and you do that for half an hour so it's probably like are you doing thirty seconds. Thirty ten second runs or something like that sounds. That sounds pretty good so I tried. That lasted fucking twice. Okay doing it. It's hard to do anyways so some of some of it. I don't mind but I just don't I I just don't need people weighing in. Here's what you should do. What do you mean what I fucking should do? I wasn't doing anything and now I'm doing this..

"Not the first part of it's not funny and I wrote it down on my notes here so I go to the gym the other day and I got those Yours recon those phone things Bluetooth oh I work out in those and all of a sudden I hear this big scream so this guy apparently he and he kept screaming and he couldn't communicate what was wrong with him like pacemaker blew out or something so they ended up having to call the ambulance over like I gotTa bring it over my water and it was just like a spooky situation so at the time of like the fifteen minutes when you when you pause your headphones and I was listening to the doctor draped thousand one the chronic album whatever it is it'll it'll shut off the Bluetooth so after the whole experience I was going upstairs to ride the treadmill and and I hit play and you'll let song on that album where it's like Oh yeah fuck yeah goes on but my headphones and there was this lady right beside me and she probably thought I was like you know watching porn allow us work out or something and I it was almost as were that just happened I didn't feel like walking over to explain that it was like a song on an album and another creeped but to the One lady snowball sensitivity listened to the spitting Chicago they got the eastern U. pickle juice drinking again you're gonNa say I thought you were going to say you were listening to the Dr Dre Jimmy Ivy documentary again I was like no no no no here I'm going to try to and he's gone out to this one pumping over Jim good yes so like I'm waiting for the the the song to come in my to my earphones because it was always played that album because there's a lot of bang there's on it and if it's not a good song hit next and chances are it's going to be a good one there's like eight good workout songs on there so that just happened to be in the song and the lady thinks I'm a creep so they don't make albums like they use the Biz we did mention a couple signs before that last data about cabbage and owns and money Oh Brayden Schenn signed an eight year extension with the blues were fifty two million dollars it's GonNa take him through the twenty seven twenty eight season average annual six point five million is two years in Saint Louis He's been a key pat a lineup and you up the franchise captured the first ever Stanley Cup last fall Biz with judd take on this one brothers did an interview with him and his brother out in BC a couple years back off great signing I think he wanted to stay there bad I think that core group of guys just loves it there so I'm really happy for him I mean I from what I've read online as far as what he brings the table I think it's a pretty fair number I don't see any Louis Plant Saint Louis Blues fans complaining about it I think the only issue you can see you could see some people having the term and how long the deal is but he does bring a ton of different elements like he's not I mean he had seventy points two years ago other than that he's never had sixty he's been pretty close but it's more about how physically plays like he's a power forward and you don't really expect to get seventy eighty points you are looking at that guy as as a fifty to sixty five White Guy playing hard four checking heart he's good defensively he's just a like a real motherfucker deal with out there so you kind of brings all these different elements in that make him worthy of that money it's just it is it is a decently long deal I want to say he's like Hobby is he twenty nine I don't know way like you say he's thirty six hundred seventy one okay so maybe at the end of that deal it's not even playing who knows that it's it's a longtime away but for now he deserves herbs it and that's what happens you understand the cup and you gotta pay a guy like that you need to keep him around well a couple things he's a great guy so I'm happy got paid he's won a Stanley Cup so I'm sure on Saint Louis are okay with him being a pay 'cause he was a big contributor in that and lasting I saying this is not an insult to him I think he's I think he's really done a good job rbis stretching out how much by the time he's playing what he's GonNa make for what he's done well he's coming off of do you have a break in in Philly Philadelphia deal he signed it was a four year twenty point five million dollars deal he's GonNa make eighty billion that's a thirty for for what he's done his body of work that's a little bit of an overpayment but I always like seeing the fuck eighty sheets eight sheets braid estimated career earnings as well right now and cap probably twenty five miles so he's GonNa make five mel this year that's GonNa take him at thirty and then you had the fifty two million dollar deal so yeah he's taken over eighty of course for you buddy taxes and what I was going to send you some pink Whitney's but you can actually just fucking by some company he picked picked fifth overall seven years after yours truly thirty so he's really got me up there but congratulations to what's his averaging just over six A. V. is six and a half on the new extension kicks in yeah I mean guys wants the new TV deal kicks in for years that's going to be like he they gave him four million based on like the average so I I think it's I think it's fine I think he's going to be able to get you know sustain forty to fifty points it's and like you said bring that physical element to his game they'll fly to like he'll do anything are adenoid if you had this one written down but did you guys watch that MVP basketball that MVP game trophy kind of thing every team does it like they had the Broadway hat the Arizona coyotes have a wwe championship custom made at the handout and they did the the basketball 'cause the raptors given the winning ball in order to pass it out and babcock after their first one gave it to matthew news and then Matthews just puts on Harlem globetrotters show with the MVP ball how how cool is that allow so that they're actually taken an idea from Luke team hockey doing but never with a basketball that's GONNA make which explode well no I think they did it because like they're passing on the quote unquote winning tradition like they said last year was our time and this year it's your time and they were like we tried to give it so well but he didn't have on it we're going there we're going there well I tweeted out the video I was watching all baby the first spinney somehow spins it roll down his chest he looked like pete maverick that piece pistol Pete thank the puck bunny I'd slobs Knob just after watching that big God yeah the funny this thing too is a bunch of people commented on the video because two hours is doing some funny Danton he's laughing oh laughs and smiles people so funny because you do see tomorrow's ultra serious ultra your competitive guy in a sense like crosby where's interviews are very serious he's quiet and people think like is he always I know these guys get in the room after a win with the music offline these di Lapper but so many people have never even seen to virus like look happy Ra did I know he was had we talked about that last week I don't think it had hours in a very cool video that the Toronto Maple leafs put out if you haven't seen it guys I you could just tell how much it meant to him to be named captain he's probably wanted it since he was you know I laid down the skates and very well deserved this guy lives and is it and I think he he should have been named captain so on checkout that'd be oh I'm not sure what kind of facing the other night when she web absolutely fucking me able them what a hit that was did you guys see that game it was a really it was a really good game I actually watched the whole game because water you know Oh I had fucking Toronto money line they're out four to warning the third period they lose the game matthews made that sick little drag in goal to tie it up with a minute fifteen left Mike Nice they still lose price in the shootout pricing Matthews Monir Taveras dated insignif- even sniff they were all coming down shooting it and it price was doing one of those Biz where he like it looks like he doesn't move maybe it was just hitting or maybe he basically go to shoot it into his pads for us there's zero chance anyone's scoring on him right now so that was a tough loss for years Julia had the over in San Jose Vegas first night of the year lost I lost the bruins lie I bet against the Bruins Fuck Ra told me early in the season be careful what I didn't listen though yeah it's funny 'cause I I went oh and five to start and I was getting trip left and right and I was like I literally just told everybody October November my worst two months so I've been fucking followed me if you've ever been fighting I'm you're an idiot because he told you he shit you fucking that's all hey I don't like to get negative image on this podcast who that was a tough start for the sound sharp Through Owen three so far and I still think that came three game suspension was bullshit I would've loved to have seen those two games with Kane lineup and how much more intense they would've been yeah it hasn't been a tough stuff for them Biz Owen three come now the gate an ugly loss a couple of losses so-fi now we will hopefully to be a little checklist bump would help because they appear team basically stroke often the preseason hype video they played the other day you can hear all three of our voices I believe we're we're never getting used again that's well twelve to three it's been a tough tough stop you know like I said before he's database these have a little mini or is that people you know these are the angles we take these things get turned on the head and a week two weeks later you know teen rows off three four in a row I think the the cream rises the top and what is it water fines level at some point I wouldn't I wouldn't write the shacks off yet Evans said all you gotta you gotta get w soon you start panicking and you start squeezing the stick a little not I mean I don't WanNa say panicking but like you lose the next one zero one four like I mean you realistically could play yourself off not out of playoff contention but if you first eleven games right you go to a nine do you know the the how difficult it then becomes to gain all that ground back so the starts really do matter three games isn't anything but you just WanNa get that I where they are let's just kind of get one we'll get going but until that until that happens it is a little stressful one hundred percent any team who hasn't won yet they're going to be really trying to figure it out and get a win immediately if not sooner because every practice after the lawsuit refracted until you win a game is kind of a disaster does actually there was one other signing we want to mention before we send it over the hall of Fame Nicholas Lindstrom the blackhawks extended in kicks in after this season and we've talked about that third year of these bridge deals his third year is going to be worth nine million so that sets up for an awesome qualified awesome minute of nine million that the he had forty one Tux last year just as second season in the league it's crazy how many teams bypass this kid in the draft just because he was into a fly on back that's what I do. PK showtime baby so I think as long as cats playing with him at least power play especially he's just going to be one of the top goal scorers in the League it's a very fair deal it makes a ton.

"Real. I don't have a sizzle reel. Have a bloop bloop as you just ask around agents just like hey. Here's my blooper bunny. You're acting real funny. sessile just loops flu. Maybe this whole businesses just like talk to like how kindergarteners bloopers so so. What do you think I sequel? Let's all get let's all get together. Shooter issue did this at the end of shoot next year. What's the goal of this? How do we will? We'll work out all that all right same cast. No we'll replace. Some people yeah yeah. Let's do it. Most of the castle probably probably be the same well number one number two probably yeah four four good one through four key one two and four. It's agreed. You are three remember how did they how does net flicks determine meaning. They have some kind of algorithm that do you know what algorithms are yeah. That's one of my favorite Jackson albums Algorithm mission. What country do you think we'll do? The best in. USA baby is never leaving leaving netflix yeah. They're in a eighty some odd countries. I believe yes so yeah. They take a look at numbers metrics. Take a look at how many how many people have watched it well. How do they so they can? They do keep up with that. Oh God no sequel than what if they need to believe in yourself elves here what Netflix was unable to know how many people watch there. They just put it out in a guest. We hope this word of mouth. My aunt seem very surprised by Oh so they know how to they know how many people that's surprising even bother what they gotta think but Zach was it. Was it a difficult thing to turn You know what I heard a lot of is i. I didn't know how this would be turned into a movie where there any fears in regarding that well I mean how do you take a four and a half minute sketch. You've been doing for a number of years. Yes and it's a very limited sketch. There's I mean it's just a black wall into chairs and the camera angles are not great. How do you do that and I I think the idea was just trying to see what it's like to to try to the making of them the the the behind the scenes of his basically but part of it was I think the fear of doing it was Yo- you just do want to let it live and that four and a half five minutes but I think the movie brings a lot of vets that that funny stuff because we keep it a lot of the interviews obviously we are a lot of the the movies interviews I think it works? I think I think thank we've tied at a given enough of story line to to make people interested in the in the movie and and we we wanted to do this because we were making that comedy central special that we did in New York and we were like improving stuff on the street with like you running into a mailbox in your pants dropping down yeah that's what I was doing higher brow stuff and we were saying if we could make a movie like this would be really fun where where your head's could fall down throughout a home but just the spirit of improvising and doing it like we do the between two ferns episodes where those are improvised and now I know by the end of it. You're like so tired of doing Improv well. I mean it's I mean you guys are Improv actors so I get intimidated that I don't know what I'm doing. 'cause I'm. I'm I'm stand up and there's I've always felt that improv legitimate improv people goodwin's how how roll their eyes at standup sometimes and the Ryan you're. You're in the groundlings right now but I'm right about that right. Little Little Theatre Improv break up with a woman wants because she asked me go see Improv in the valley too many things Kazak. Your trailer was actually smaller than normal. What you get on a normal movie this right yes Scott it was it was small only four bedroom? The agents the agents against the ones that do the trailer stuff. That's there yeah but you were you very graciously because it was a low budget movie took a small trailer yeah and it was a hero. I am take a hero but we all had equal sized trailers. Did we not yes and that was really fun for resolve. It was really fun for us just talking about having the same size trailers so fun where would you would you all do another movie or is it for you. I never everyone do another move much work. I guess I like comedy and Money Dan don't they funny equals money. Where did you guys get paid a God? I know you're number one on the pay sheet I having number two hundred eighty sheets aches. I you all tie for three. Maybe not page three. I don't know can we pause this and you can call hit. Will you have any call your commercial agent. Did your commercial agent handle. I don't have a car or their agents specifically for commercial like Oh you got about you have to go out voiceover agents. There are podcast agents. There's so many can you believe anything man all right. I I didn't know there was I didn't know you could podcast yeah. There's a guy at UTA. I met with him the other day and he was like yeah. I handle podcast here. I was like Oh. What else do you do all day? No no that's it. Why has he never wanted to talk about any of the podcast well you have to be? You have to be a UTA any questions for me. I've run out of questions for you. Yes I do. I listen. I'm kind of want to put this stuff on you. How did you like directing? I told you it was hard right. It's hard it's it's hard all the way around from pre production to post. I ask you what I would think. The most annoying thing about at directing is people constantly are asking you questions though yeah it in a movie like this where it's mainly improvised in there aren't answers to a lot of questions that can be very frustrating for the crew so I sort of felt bad during pre production that a lot of people were like we don't know what we're we're doing. We have you know we were supposed to work on this movie and we have no idea what what to do and I didn't have any of the answers because you and I were still kind of figuring it out and I would go over to your house every once in a while and try to try to you know right scenes and stuff and and then but at a certain time and this is sort of like what Steve Harvey did but we had to put a sign up on my office door that said do not knock don't don't allow don't come in because I literally I'd be trying to write the scene because we were writing all the way up through the movie with through the shooting of the movie but I would be trying to write stuff and people it would just is knock on the door constantly and asking me questions that I didn't have answers to so we had to say that I would only be able to talk to them when we had production meetings but you just feel like such the jerk being like hey you're not allowed to talk to me. My set like Steve Harvey though because Steve Harvey did the he put out a memo where it was if you see me in the hallway do not talk to me. Don't come into my office. I'll come and people were people. Were like what a jerk Steve Harvey but but you have to understand like he is people will just ask you questions all day every day. God I love him. Oh He's funny no family to Wyoming feud he's overreaction to he's really great. Maybe I'm like not famous enough to talk shit about we go. Giovanni suit talk corner. Who Do you want to only? I'm only here to talk about about Steve Harvey it. Which is why I came on? This podcast at the movie is why movie I just know he said. Asian men are unattractive which was bullshit bullshit. I I don't like him and I can't get on board and I hope you feel bad for saying that you like him Asian men I cannot I'm not no. I'm not that's that's terrible but his reactions on the family feud when he's not making fun of Asian. Make me laugh well guys between who into ferns comes out this Friday September twentieth. I hope everyone turns on their net. flicks fires it up. Let's warm up for a little bit so you what time time it will come in my own night midnight and east coast. Maybe or something or midnight every night on the Thursday at midnight and the United States it comes out at midnight on on on the East Coast which means nine pm here on the West Coast and then in every country. Maybe comes comes out at a prescribed time but I I really don't it comes out the day before for us. I think it's just midnight midnight. No matter where you are thank gas could be other shows. That's what I've experienced. I don't you direct a movie called. The net flicks metro. We should try to figure out if they can see the numbers hours of how many people actually that is. What time does it come out this Friday? It comes out. I hope everyone who listens to this. Show watches it. first day yeah really funny. I watch it on the twentieth. You shouldn't watch it at all. I don't know that I would go that far. I think it might help us if they wasn't awesome. I at least twenty-second no that point at that point. It's all spoiled for you in all your comments that you're going to type about got it on the message boards. Can you send him Scott Akron. Yeah just send them right to me because I work. I'm keep very close is on all that stuff. Stuff is good for creativity all right well. I know that Lauren Giovanni and Ryan you all have to go but when we come back we're going to you have a musician. We're going to have a small businessman and we're going to have an educator the three very interesting jobs Zakia. You're gonNA stay right because you're interested in talking about all of these people. I saw them them in the hallway. They'd do seem fascinating yeah great okay well. We are going to be right back with more comedy Bang Bang after this man I got some. I got some ad copy here that they want me to read and it's all about my favorite delicious treat at Thomas English English muffin..

how good he really really well as you know the greatest thing that can happen in Chicago in the summertime Mr be driving on lake shore drive hopefully a convertible but if you're not a convertible with your windows down in summer breeze on the radio I have several wins yeah everybody people ask me all the time all around the country what is your favorite Sinatra song and I said it depends what mood I'm in yeah because he he his music is like the soundtrack of your life you know you you you fell in love his music when somebody loves you is no good and you may reduce his nice thing about you the other day because it's quarter to three and there's nobody in the place for you and me and you tell me a great story of months a million great stories but you're in Vegas Frank didn't really start is day to what three or four in the afternoon good afternoon they always want to run away anyone of these guys to run with them in your tea time yeah and if I have the story right you said Frank I gotta go a friend of mine died sorry and Frank said oh my god tell me I'm sorry who was it that you're getting this a little bit makes are telling we were last Vegas with doing one nighters all over the country we can fill in the desert in an open desert ended two shows in and and you know it he he he stayed up till dawn every night and he wanted you to stay up with him in one of his friends until done but I want to play golf in the morning so it's four thirty in the morning and he was born he's going strong we did two shows he's going strong as what five six guys in stories and I funny hat I got up and he said well you go on I said I'm going to bed he said what for I said I gotta get burning morning with the cemetery and visit those guys he's a what guy just always guys who died trying to stay with not only that they go to bed made me tell that story all the time he on the other quote a miniature reading to you because it's your story and it's a good one is Clint Eastwood's take I'm getting old how is it and by the way and Toby Keith end up writing a song about it at last year I was playing golf with Clint and Toby up and clinch golf tournament and Toby said me how this can do it right now is eighty nine years old plan is in Georgia wrapping up a film is directing a film and George is eighty nine years old and I went to the plant how do you do this how do you do it is that I don't let the only man in and I never forgot that line and so Toby said to me as a customer she has to do it I said he's told me some Toby once he said I don't let the old man in a suit your writer you know your site is a song well it in the movie the mule that's the end of the movie is that right the only the only man and you should you should download it I should say that because I never saw the meal I thought it was good I love that take on life though it's like everybody's got aches and pains then you wake up in the morning you just tell the old man you are welcome here and I do it every day I'd be so interesting for Clint because you can look at the body of his work and actually see himself at different points in time watchers of yeah no doubt about it he also said to a lot of people can go in Hollywood especially do not know how to grow old gracefully and he does yeah he's he's he's is it is it a good friend we have is that take a lot of botox so what you're saying no no it may even any of that stuff recent Saturday night going to be doing his one man show an evening of laughter and stories is an address the memorial opera house in Valpo tickets for that probably from the opera house I would guess yeah the number there but I did get real close to sold out to be honest with this three and eighty sheets and so if anybody does want to go you have a good I do a lot of stand up comedy but I also say wait to a buyer and all the lights were on low and function after this comes on screen singing your song it's quarter to three this is known in the place I loved that movie set in when he gets to the the course make it one for My Baby yeah the the light goes off in the spotlight it's me I'm in a bar and I've come home I'm kinda cool yeah well done and I tell the audience the first time I heard that voice I was eight years old training shoes in a barn Harvey Illinois and he was on the jukebox they take the audience from that little boy from Harvey online hearing center on the juke box the one day caring is coffin out of a church in Ventura California what's the best piece of advice you ever give Frank yeah I'm guessing you gave you but you're like a son to well he wants his term is their way from the Steve Cochran show but I have it here but it wasn't that about the when you listen to he you know he gave me advice throughout my whole when I was going through a divorce he said to me I can't give you any advice and merry's family but I need advice and divorce stay friends with her not not for you not for her for those children and he did that in his life he should stay friends with that was real good advice that he gave me he sat is great at last in in the other thing you know he was so generous it's hard to describe what he would do for other people but I I think I told you the story there was a time we were coming on the wall of her story in a hurry rushing to a gig and I was waiting out there and and as we were rushing out the back door of the wall of the story this woman jumped out of the doorway and it ended up the them and told me she'd been there for five hours hiding she come rushing out to Mr Sinatra please Mr Sinatra please and we're getting in the limo and the security was holding her back Mr Sinatra please in fact he turned on he said what is it she should please my husband is home sick terribly sick if I could get an autograph from you it would mean the world to him he should sure you walk back he sang the autograph and she said oh would beautiful cufflinks there were two thousand dollar cufflinks I know we got it he said thank you and the shiny undefeated to cufflinks off engagement is it give these to your house she said no no no no I don't want them now I just I just was it my mission I want your husband have those get eliminated on Frank that was beautiful but why did you do that he said tell me if you possess something that you can't give away then you don't possess it it possesses you where to get that knowledge he grew up as a poor kid you had to hang around some real tough guys I had to get a start who taught him I I you know I don't know but I really do believe that he read a book called the the magnificent obsession by Lloyd C. Douglas it later became a movie okay this is who was a book called doctor Hudson's secret journal okay that is the secret of success if you want to be successful in any endeavor whatever you want to ask your master say Gee I'd like to be a comedian orders then you must keep your eyes and ears open for is less fortunate children and help them along their journey sure and the way you help them is for them not to know it if they know what you have to swear than the secrecy is shall do this for you see but you must not tell anybody and it was way before the movie pay it forward came came out yeah because you're making about you you may get about doing the right thing check into something in the Bible about that about this Tooting your horn in front of the temples or something like that and Frank not only talk that talk he walked that talk dummies give it back twice in September you can do the keynote at the massive ascension church that's very told us of the top Harvey days in Crete on September seventh and then just few days later your time usually comedians golf tournament N. W. parking cars that in any doing theater on the lake for the MS society on September eighteenth Tom Driessen dot com is that the best place for people to go to keep dentures K. half they want to keep in touch from a television outlets so Gee and I stay in touch for all these years exactly right and a smile on her face can you hang around six I love the five more coming up with obvious and it is even answer Steve is study showing the feasibility of a possible casino in Chicago expected to be released today well that story at nine o'clock from the WGN newsroom and traffic.

"Chief Christine Lagarde in the short clip Lagarde does not seem impressed known as a rock star of international finance she has a reputation for telling it like it is the guard is about to leave her post as the head of the International Monetary Fund and take over the top job at the European central bank from current president Mario Draghi Christine Lagarde will be the first woman to hold this position which oversees the euro and your is on monetary policy Ben hall as Europe editor of the Financial Times and he says the appointment was unexpected for a couple of reasons she's not an economist perhaps more importantly she has no expertise in monetary policy and although you might be able to get away with that as chief of the International Monetary Fund when you are central bank you have to take real time decisions and engage in real time debates with other central bankers so you really do need to have some technical expertise yeah previous presidents of the European central bank were heads of smaller central banks which is something that Lagarde does not have on a resume what will that fact work against her well it might work against a with them in particular who may think that she is not up to that level and therefore the dynamics within the European central bank may be different than than up to now where Mario Draghi is incredibly well respected central bank and has really come on that authority within the central bank of the he of course is not beyond criticism so the question really is whether she can hold her own amongst other central bankers because of course there is some criticism within the European central bank of the route that it is taken what what's a range of reaction you've heard on her nomination well I think he's actually been broadly very supportive the market so that I absolutely loved it there are a lot of heavy weight economists out there who seem to be very good at the job because she's such a great political operates and knows how to surround self with real experts but there are still other people who would say that they worry about a lack of technical expertise and they also worry about this border trend all former politicians on non economists becoming central bankers and worry that that might dilute the idea of central bank independence is the same with the U. S. fat right what J. Powell whose a lawyer but eating J. powers had a number of years on the federal reserve board of governors so that is something that Christina god does not have before we continue on what the guard will mean as head of the European central bank let's dig a bit into our background a lawyer by training and then goes head first into the economic realm starting with the pose a French commerce minister in the government of Dominique deville town two thousand five there's also the small interesting detail she was a synchronized swimmer for the French national team she's also vegetarian and rarely drinks alcohol all that suggests some serious self discipline of what is at telus of outer I think it would tell you that she has serious self discipline she used to joke when she was finance minister the synchronized swimming pool of the habit of gritting her teeth and smiling which was probably very useful in French political circles she's really not a kind of typical French politician she doesn't think like French politicians and in fact I imagine front sees not as great as it is elsewhere in the world take in the Anglo Saxon world she's very self disciplined she is an extremely good and charismatic communicator she's a great manager of people bridge builder and I think those will be great skills then you must have seen the video from the G. twenty that went viral recently in which Ivana trump steps into this policy conversation between Theresa may and Christine Lagarde and offers her opinions a guard was most visibly annoyed by this interruption by this somewhat unqualified voice a what did you see in the video the tells us anything else about Christine Lagarde in some ways I thought that was actually rather uncharacteristic of her because she's not eighty two eighty sheets quite a good people person she is not very ground but then she's also be missile storage defender rolls the international order the kind of rules placed the order and I suppose in a way your banker trump's presence at the G. twenty was sort of emblematic of the trump administrations some people might say content for that model of governance Lagarde has been called the rock star of international finance how did she get that label which is not typical French politician she's on typical finance minister given her story though her charisma brilliance with the English language the fact that she's not a common ground stand up a nice change once that was translated it on quickly on to this international stages as managing director of the INS she just played her strengths and has had a pretty full was performance of the IMF and the IMF is done rather well under her tenure she you know it was in a bit of a bad state when she took over it was completely divided about the pay lots of grease it made mistakes they made mistakes I will start seeing and I think she's gonna restore confidence and intellectual credibility in a way to be honest and I think that sets a thoroughly good thing for the for the phone yeah certainly good bona fides for going into the European central bank she's also been very vocal on women's rights and has championed promoting women into powerful positions the European central bank that was a very male heavy organization will she be able to change or even operate as she has in the past in that culture I think you'll have no problem operating in that culture with that she can actually fundamentally change the gender balance and the culture of the European central bank may be at school Christine Lagarde first day on the job in theory at the ECB is November first that's the the day after the new deadline set for Britain to leave the European Union what kind of challenges that suggest for her on day one well until now the European central bank has tended to think that rex eight will not be such a big economic shock to the euro zone but in no deal brexit weather system sudden break and there's no transition period in this big destruction to trade flows cause real pain to some eurozone countries like Ireland maybe the Netherlands even to Germany and so from so they will be watching that very very closely with that they will need to do much to actually compensate for that is another question Ben hall is your better for the Financial Times has been speaking with us from London Ben thanks very much you're very welcome temperatures are still soaring in France and unlucky break for teenagers there who are doing national service for the first time France had similar programs in the past but they ended two decades ago this new national service program was introduced by president Emmanuel macron two weeks of training followed by another two weeks of community work it's voluntary for now but eventually it'll be required for all sixteen year olds macro hopes it'll boost patriotism and social cohesion it's not without controversy though the BBC's Paris correspondent Lucy Williamson reports it's not the night VS twenty tion of the French national anthem and there.

"And if you look not at yet they've gotten some players back. We'll talk about brands and we're talking about some first round picks. But in the end, a lot of great players have left Ottawa now, and they're left kind of scratching their heads in where where are we going to be in the next couple years? I mean, it's full blown question. They got some players where. Yeah. Maybe this gets turned around. But if in four years, they're still the auto senators, the Edmonds, and all of those of the east, would you be that surprised so interesting times there, you could see I think some fan frustration. And losing these guys that you'd hope you'd at least sign one of them. This is going back to Carlson was still there. So it's a tough time there. But I think Mark stone is gonna do great vagus. I think that he's just got like I said just built for this time of year, the playoff games and before throw it over to RA, you mentioned the fact that they didn't get a first round or it's a little tough. When when teams are. Mostly aware that the guy's not gonna resign there. So it kind of puts a little bit of leverage onto the other team who's acquiring hymns hands. Would you not agree? Because if I mean. Yeah. And also, yes, I I agree. So the first rounder would have been nice to get. But if no other teams were pushing the limits on their need for stone and offering up first, rounders and prospects. I mean, I mean that you gotta you gotta take what you can get for guy was not coming back. And it's crazy before we move on from. This deal is dead. Oughta men they don't have their first Trump pick this year. Oh, that's just the fact Colorado could end up with the first overall pick is wild. When stones going to send Christmas cards at the betray shit. Dude who gave him that award last year. And we got that nice. Bumping opportunities. Whatever I think seven and a half, by the way, how are stolen dude. All my God. Are you kidding me? Do so he's he's made eighty sheets eighty fuck in million. He's never taken a flight. He's never taking a non private flight. The rest of his life is cheap bastard. He literally is only on wheels up every flight the rest of his I would buy four houses. Enjoy nine golf courses. What else civic division? Well, Sunday afternoon. Gustav Nyquist scored at sixteen goal the season in a five three loss to the shocks about nine house later the wing straight at him to the team you just could on for twenty nine thousand nine second round in a conditional twenty twenty third round Nyquist in the last year before year nineteen million dollar deal. He's twenty nine years old right wing. He'll be a UFA. This a lot of these guys. Sixteen goals, thirty three assists and sixty two games. So far this year, which take on this pickup is a little more than deputies. What probably Middlesex for that for the shock. She think fit in. Yeah. I'm not sure. But once again, just another another piece of that Ford lineup. They have very balanced scoring on their Ford bunch. I guess you could compare them to Nashville where they don't have any true true superstars, I guess you could say pa- Veliky because he's had a great bounceback year. And he's already got thirty five talks. But they just kind of get it done done by committee and enjoy Thornton's comments a few weeks ago. He said, you know, when it's not pavilion. You get it done. It's abandoned Cain of Andrew cane. Get it done. It's logan. Sure. So they got a lot of weapons of front now. Complementing that back end for them if they can get solid goaltending. Mad to me. They're the team coming out of the Pacific Division. Yeah. You think I know man, they're they are good and they're start. It's like the peak peaking at the perfect time..
