The twenty-first limerick in the twenty one salute for the president joe biden. And i think we we do we do without a doubt have to do a a desert. there's no doubt we have to do. Goldman Sachs on S&P 500, Model Y Range, Tesla Police Vehicle
"Everybody rob our here today. We were talking about tessa. Stock and the s. and p. five hundred inclusion process. We have an updated note from goldman. Sachs talking a little bit about funds that may need to purchase tesla. We also have some news on the model y and then a recently published study by the fremont police department on using tesla as a police vehicle. All right so i up on the stock tussles. Green streak has come to an end finishing down one point nine three percent today to four hundred eighty nine dollars. Sixty one cents that compared to the nasdaq down zero point four percent and two again quickly. Check on the volume. As we've been doing for the last few days it was quite a bit lower today. Only about thirty two million shares traded hands. That was the two hundred and first highest volume rank day for the last year. So very low. That's out of about two hundred and fifty trading days was actually even below the one month average of thirty three million shares and well below the three month and twelve month averages around sixty million shares debt. If you're curious why. I keep talking about volume. It's because i anticipate a lot of shares needing to be purchased. So i do want to keep an eye on volume as we head into the snp inclusion. I do expect most of the related buying four. That will happen around inclusion. But who knows how much for there's going to be so i think if we see a lot of really heavy volume heading into that that might indicate a little bit more front running. So it's not normally something i watched super closely and i'm definitely not a technical analysis based investor. But just something. I'm kind of finding interesting for less period time. Quick related note next week. Is the week of thanksgiving. So the nasdaq will be closed on thursday november twenty. Sixth all day and then on friday the twenty seventh. We closed early so reopened until one pm eastern time. As for my schedule. I'll probably take thursday off and potentially friday. We'll see on that. But hopefully the seven episodes that. I put out this week as well as two interviews that i did the most recent of which is on the talking tesla podcast. By the way we'll make up for that next week. Okay so we've got a bit of an update here on the s. and p. five hundred situation a new note from goldman sachs. Has shed a little bit of light. On that. portion of funds that is benchmarked to the s. and p. five hundred remember. This is the portion of funds that their compensation is impacted based on the relative performance to the performance of the s. and p. five hundred versus the tracking funds. They're literally trying to replicate the performance of the s. and p. five hundred identically. So if we look at our little spreadsheet here that we've looked at many times based on today's closing price for the s&p five hundred and four tesla. It looks like the waiting would be about one point two five percent for tesla and the s&p index so the p last update. They gave us said that there was about four point. Six trillion in assets tracking the index. Saw one point two six percent of that should be allocated to tesla shares. That's about fifty eight billion dollars. Almost one hundred nineteen million shares and then additionally there is six point six trillion in benchmarked assets. So that's what we're talking about here with this goldman sachs update and one point. Two six percent of that six point six trillion would be eighty three billion or a hundred and seven million shares so focusing on that slice for now goldman sachs in an updated note. Overnight said quote of the one hundred and eighty nine large-cap core funds in our universe one hundred and fifty seven funds that manage around five hundred billion in assets under management did not hold tesla on september thirtieth and quote. Okay presumably here then. The one hundred eighty nine funds that goldman is referring to here are benchmarked against the s. And p five hundred. I don't have the full note. So i'm not sure if they stated that clearly but i do think it's the best assumption we can make so they're saying five hundred billion in assets under management for those one hundred and eighty nine funds. That's five hundred billion of the six point six trillion that we're talking about here so that's about seven and a half percent of the slice so then golden is saying that of those one hundred and eighty nine funds. One hundred and fifty seven of them didn't hold any tesla that's only seventeen percent of those funds so we don't necessarily know how the dollar distribution looks if one of those funds makes up the majority of that five hundred billion assets under management and they hold tesla the dollar percentage will look very different. But for now it's just assume it's the same at seventeen percent and then let's extrapolate that percentage to the six point six trillion and benchmarked funds. Broadly obviously quite a few steps. There were the math. Can break down. This is just a theoretical exercise but if we apply that then we could assume that of the six point six trillion and benchmarked funds about one point one trillion of that may already have a position and tesla leaving about five point five trillion. That does not so drop that. Six point six trillion down to five point five trillion. Assuming others already have tessa positions. If all those funds want to be equal weight on tesla they would need to buy sixty nine billion dollars. Tesla nice which one hundred and forty two million scherzer's. Obviously they could buy more. That could buy less. Could by not at all but doing anything other than being equal weight on tesla is an active choice to deviate their performance versus their benchmark based on how tesla's said another way if they don't know about tesla the safest thing for them to do is just to be equal weight so that it's not influencing their relative performance if we hop back to that goldman note per the bloomberg article on the topic. They say quote assuming those funds chose to hold the carmaker at benchmark. Wait they would need to buy eight billion dollars of the stock or about two per cent of tussles market value the analysts set and quote so many of you may have seen the headline articles about that today. That's just goldman saying that of these funds. These five hundred billion in assets under management those funds. We need to buy a billion to be equal weight. So there's walk in clients through the exact math and we've been walking through here for awhile. But on their universe as they say which is just a subset that seven and a half percent subset of the six point six trillion that the snp says is benchmarked against the s. and p. five hundred. We've now seen a couple of separate confirmations that overall the we've been walking through here is correct. I we had the snp announcement which indicated that okay. Yes it's going to be about a one percent weight that equates to about fifty billion in terms of shares that need to be bought so check that box and then here we have goldman sachs now the benchmark funds and how they would need to buy eight billion and that lines up well with the math that we've been talking about on the bench marked funds so i think good to see that i still don't really know how all this is gonna be able to work again if all that is equal weight. That's you know. Thirty eight percent of tesla's float you can't just take thirty eight percent of afloat off the market over the course of two weeks

Is the Nest Audio smart speaker worth your time and money
"Despite. The name change the nest audio is really update to the original Google Home Smart Speaker. So what's new about it? So audio is a way overdue upgrade for Google the home speaker the very first one came out in two thousand sixteen. So it's been four years since they've done anything with US mid range speaker and. Everything is different. The design is different. The size is different. The sound quality is different even the price is different than the original Google home. It's sort of a totally new thing. So let's break down. In terms of price in terms of the the differences like dig into what exactly consumers are going to get with us next audio. So it's one hundred dollars and that is twice the price of a nest mini ness or fifty dollars. Usually you can get them for less if they're on sale and I suspect the same thing will probably happen with nest audio but on the shelf, the MS RPM is one hundred bucks. So for that hundred dollars, you're GONNA get a smart speaker that honestly it's smaller than I thought it would be when I got it. I was like Oh this is actually pretty compacted slake almost seven inches tall. And it has that fabric cover all the way around it. So the nest mini and the Google Home Max had that fabric on the front. This one has the fabric all the way around it, and it has a totally different shape. The original Google home in my opinion didn't look that great. It was kind of weird looking certainly, not like anything that Amazon put out, and this one is a little more soft around the edges. More of a design aesthetic to it that it seems like they pay more attention to that this time and I like that it comes in five colors comes in like a pink Blue Gray, a a green. And then like darker, Gray. SEGALLA options, you know if you want it to fit in your home if he wanted to look good on your shelf, it's definitely better this time around. What about the sound quality? How does that compare to the original and really has a compared to some of the other speakers in the market taking the Amazon Echo and apples homepod nest audio, sound way better than the Google home that came before it. The vocals our whole lot clear pretty much mid base. All of it is better than the home. It's definitely an improvement in that respect. I Don mcgahn Echo speakers because I am working from home like a lot of people and I only have a home pot and the old Google speakers at my house. So TVD on that also, Amazon. Just released a new echo. So we have yet to test that out as well. So it'll be interesting to see how those to compare especially because the new echo is also hundred dollars. So if you're on the fence and you don't quite know which assistant you want, it's going to be interesting to see which one is going to give you a better sound quality It's really close to home potty. My opinion to home pot is a great speaker premium speaker at obviously costs a whole lot more and it is a little bit better but I think if you're a regular person and you're not an audio file and you just want to hear good music. Nest definitely deliver that. You didn't like about this picker. I would say that the Google smarts that you're getting in wing talked about this a little bit more later on too but there's not much to it. You know it's it's Google speaker and I think maybe at this point in twenty twenty, we've gone through four or five almost five years of smart speakers and were sort of used to what does. So every speaker has google assistant in Google assistant is gonna be the Google Assistant. So you're not getting a lot of surprising new google features with it. I will say on going back to sound quality, there is left and right channel separation. If you have Tunis audio speakers on, there's already a promotion. If you buy two, you get a discount in I highly recommend that they did send me to I tried out the channel separation and it's really cool. It's really effective and it's probably the one thing that makes me feel like I got a lot from one hundred dollars for my two hundred dollars if you get a pair. That channel separation is cool. Yeah. I, know they made a big deal about it during the week Google presentation, the having sort of rooms and multiple speakers linked together. Alternately. For you is it worth the hundred dollar price tag that is you know quite a bit more. It's it's it's not a small mouth change especially during these times. Yeah. It's not hundred dollars a lot and a while there are discounts and promotions and you know there are I think plenty of people to pay Andre Dollars for speaker. It's a really interesting question because of what else? Google makes. So if you look at s mini, that's fifty dollars to get tunas minis for the same hundred dollars and suddenly you can broadcast to another room. You can have multi room audio, you can pair them together group to play music you know at the same time in different rooms. So you're GONNA get a little more functionality that way if you buy two many's rather than one nest audio. And then if you think about it from a smart home perspective, you can get a nest hub smart display for I. Think Eighty nine dollars. So for even less than that, you can get a Google speaker plus all the visuals in all the smart home integration you get being able to see a camera or a doorbell or watch TV or play a game on a smart display so. I think you have to really want the audio aspects of the Speaker to go forward over Tunis many or over a tub. But it's a good speaker you know and I think certainly on sale it's it's worth it hundred dollars. Isn't I don't think it's unreasonable if you want good audio and you wanna Google. Speaker.
New Alexa products may be shown off soon
"Heard apple we heard from Samsung. Now it's Amazon's turn Amazon stymied to have their event on Thursday September twenty four announcing a whole new slate of Alexa products I'm here with consider he runs the voice dot ai blog and weird and have some fun talking about what we might see. Now last year we had glasses. We had the ear buds. We had the fancy speaker that sounded better than any Alexa. Speaker ever sounded the studio. What do you think? What do you think we could possibly see this year. I think it's going to be light on hardware. Actually I. THINK WE'RE GONNA see a lot more applications and services this year it just seems like that's the way they're headed right now we're starting to see them call their portfolio a little bit I do expect to see an upgraded. Amazon Echo for example, because we're a couple years since that last updated So we might see that we might see an echo plus update and we could potentially see another round of updates to the smart displays because they've been updating those each year. but for the most part I, think the stories are GONNA be around. Is and features. Okay. Would you say the New Echo? That's the entry level basic of seventy, nine dollar. Speaker that started it all. That is the one and eight. When it started at all I think it was one, hundred, eighty, nine dollars when it first launched might have been one, hundred, ninety nine then they brought it down. So yeah, it should be somewhere between seventy nine and ninety nine dollars. It's not the echo dot, which is the one that people will see for twenty to thirty dollars when it's on sale but that is really the flagship of the of the portfolio and it's due for an upgrade. What could they do what they do to make it interesting To make it interesting. I'm not sure. I mean the the most recent one was actually quite good They could increase the audio quality a little bit more but then it's GonNa be in competition with Echo Studio, which was a device i. know you like a great deal last year I expect them to potentially have some do safeguards at a hardware level around privacy that would be something that could do with. Better Processing Power they might announce something with performance and speed. In fact, most likely they will I'm not sure that that will be specific to the device though probably more likely will be impact based on the cloud processing and ultimately the natural language understanding layer of the Alexa Service. Now, what I think they need to do is really put a lot of effort onto video and the echo show which. You know as we've moved to everything's online, every trade shows online every classes online all of our work is online. That Lil unit has been left out of the equation. We should just be saying Hey Alexa start my meeting and they did announced that there can be working with zoom on one of the units but I think they really need to put a lot of effort into putting video I what what's your thoughts? Yeah I I suspect that we're to see some services along those lines although you have to look at what Amazon has to bring to the table. So Zoom is a nice integration. It's it is available now and echo show not as tight is the integration as they have for the conference room they already had many people don't know this already had integration with zoom for conference room setting. That was Alexa for business, and what they're doing now is available for consumers because that's a new swing on the way things have changed recently, people need that at home more I'm interested to see what they do with the television. So I think that that's likely to be a more fruitful area for them to explore the use of video and the integration with Alexa. So bring zoom and Google or whatever whatever program into the into the fire TV edition. Yes. Okay, well, that sounds like fun. I have one of those in my living room and it sure would be a really convenient. Well if you think about it too like people are using these devices now. To talk to loved ones right and so we have an echo show and I, and I gave one to my parents first edition when it came out of him to my my brothers. So we can. We can all get together and we can have these one one calls with each other. They're Nice. But the ECHO show is like a small screen even the larger ones are small compared to the television and in it's not necessarily in a place where it's easy for everyone to sit around the television. Is actually much better setup for that. If you'RE GONNA do family to family calling and I. Hope that will allow you to be able to do a multi-party calling for that as well. So zoom allows multi-party calling very useful feature for people during the pandemic they WANNA get get together with people. They can't see echo show is one to one right now, and so if they could do multi-party off of that, that would be a big step up if they can do it through the TV even better.
June crude futures extend losses, dropping nearly 25% to $10.30 a barrel

And they don't get back to those levels for twenty three to twenty five years. I think this time with slowing demographics and the US we may never see the dow higher adjusted for inflation than it is recently so this is not the time to sit through it these type of long-term corrections or crashes after bubbles. They're going to be seventy to ninety percent like twenty nine to thirty two that by the way not small-cap stocks or penny stocks blue chip leading stocks like General Motors Ford and RCA. Back then went down. Eighty nine percent. The Dow and two point seven years can talk until nineteen fifty three twenty four years later to get back to even so when a stockbroker tells you that doesn't understand history. Harry hang on you got to take a breath and so what Harry is saying. Nineteen twenty nine with a crash came if you are holding waiting for the market to come back so in one thousand nine hundred eighty nine dollars at three eighty one. It took approximately twenty four to twenty five years to get back to three eighty one and when I was a kid nineteen fifties when I was growing up most of the people who are part of the Great Depression my parents and the people who are pounded by the Great Depression and the stock market crash. They were never in stocks there so gun shy of stocks and then in my generation the baby boom generation that brought back the Sangala 401k defined contribution pension plans and all this at the stock market took off so the baby boomers are caught pro with the proverbial pants down and now comes the next big crash. Which you've been forecasting for a long time airy so what you're saying. This one might be a long one. Yes because this is the culmination not only of the baby. Boom gigantic is your heading the largest generation history and it wasn't just. Us hit globally to to grow up in earnest. Money which is totally predictable. Average person peaks in forty six for the baby boomers and spending forty seven for the millennials today and then and then decline so. We started to see that declined to name her. This is a rich audience. Like me a little slow. We gotta speak a little slower. So what you're saying. Is that when a person hits forty six? That's when they're at the peak. Earning and spending and millennials is forty. Seven is that what you're saying. Yes the average. The average person for more fluent people college educated professionals. It's more like in the mid fifties but still average forty six so baby boomers if that peak collectively in two thousand seven something. I predicted like twenty some years before that. And we've been just what we went down big big crisis worst since the Great Depression but not as bad because they printed so much money to stop it and we've been living on quantitative easing ever since to make up for these slow down in this generation spending. That's simple and we're not coming out so let me so. Let me go back again. So let's talk to you. Know My generation. The boomers you know. What would you say to them? If they bought that they drank the KOOL aid. Let's say they have a 401k on IRA one of those things are Roth IRA. They've they've they've seen their portfolio per se. Go Up and now it's crashing. What advice do you have for them? I mean how do they do? They stay in or they exit. We don't give advice rich TAB. I WanNa hear your advice. No you get the hell out period. I think he may have one more. Little run left could be a couple of months. Could be a couple of weeks because the feds pumping in more money than ever with the Repo crisis and now the Krahn advisors but I think this is the death knell for the stock market. They can print money to stop. A recession stopped banks from failing companies from failing even stocks from crashing too much normally. But they can't stop this virus from spreading and it just kills business businesses. Stop people stop. Traveling people start stop spending. I mean my wife's not going to a of of women stay over tomorrow night. They're all coming in from New York you know. And she's you know she made the virus and she's over sixty like I am and that's what it hit. Its old people like you said earlier. So so this is something. They can't buy with money printing. They have kept this following far beyond when it should've peaked in two thousand seven and now they've got something that this doesn't work on so I think this is it so you have to get out of the way so Harry. I was talking to this young guy. He was He's a laborer. Was Painting parts of my house and he says you know. I bought a house like you told me to back in two thousand eleven you bought it for like I think hundred thousand and the reason round numbers and now it's three hundred thousand and he has no retirement is what should I do. I said I saw my house I went. I don't once again ladies and gentlemen at Rich Dad. We don't give financial advice and I definitely couldn't advise US guys. Only forty got three kids. He's got a job. Painting houses got no snow stocks. You and I are calling for twenty five year possible. Depression long-term deflation. What do you say to people what you because if he sells he sells his house? I sit where do you go? What are you going to do with that money? Let's say you have two hundred thousand dollars. I gotTa Pay Capital Gains Tax on it. What are you GONNA do any? He was clueless. I I got some simple rules Robert. I had become a bubble experts since the tech bubble crashed and early. Two thousand on top of demographics and technology and all these psycho because we are in a bubble era and the last bubble era we saw the roaring twenties. So nobody's lived in a bubble before and real estate was not the bubble back then. Because you couldn't borrow money so easily against housing back is very difficult so now. It's everything the rule for. Housing is real quick bubbles. Go back to where they started that that house if he bought it at the bottom of one hundred eleven and now it's worth three hundred K. My rough estimate is going to go back to near that level if he's comfortable sitting through one hundred eighty nine thousand potential decline in something he probably has a mortgage against maybe some home equity lines that he went on deck that fine. I think anybody with any brains would say oh no. I don't want to sit through that one in by the way The demographics I've got a new real estate model. That doesn't just project peak spending like other consumer categories. I have to subtract the dyers and guess what baby boomers are now dying unprecedented rates and will continue to do so into two thousand thirty nine or forty that takes down the net demand even takes it negative at some point for real estate so homes are never gonNA appreciate like they did this boom even in the next boom so it's better especially older. People who retiring lot of baby boomers are realizing they didn't say per retirement. 'cause they're living in good times thought they didn't need to and now they're saying. Oh wait a minute though might make mansion which I don't need now that my kids are gone. I can sell that instantly. Fund my retirement plan and rent my retirement home. I think that's really excellent vice. Do that

closing of of businesses businesses and and schools schools Gottlieb Gottlieb did did offer offer reassurance reassurance saying saying quote quote we'll we'll get get through through this this another another former former democratic democratic presidential presidential candidate candidate is is endorsing endorsing Joe Joe Biden Biden in a video on Twitter California senator Kamilla Harris threw her support behind the former vice president saying quote I believe in joke we need a leader who really does care about the people and who can therefore unify the people and I believe Joe can do that and with us right now was ABC news political analyst Steve Roberts Steve what a difference a week makes it did you anticipate Joe Biden picking up this mode the momentum this quickly no I have not I don't think anybody did I I think what we're what we're seeing though is a fascinating phenomena based on one word and that word is fear it's fear of Donald Trump and fear of Bernie Sanders Joe Biden has not been reborn as some useful charismatics move talking energetic candidates Joe Biden today is still the same Joe Biden that people have a lot of doubts about two weeks ago two months ago two years ago the difference is that Democrats have so desperate so frantic to find somebody who can beat Donald Trump that they decided that day either as a group and individually as voters and as candidates they'll camel Harris being an example of of having to rally around somebody and then choosing between Biden and Sanders the fear of Bernie Sanders is pulling the party too far to the left so there's a lot of energy around the Biden candidacy right now but in my view it's largely negative energy it's driven by fear it's driven by desperation there are not a lot of Democrats even this morning jumping up and down in Saint Joe Biden's gonna be a great candidate a great president but this negative energy is very powerful and that's what's driving this trend do you think it's now his to lose or is it too early to say that definitely has to lose end up and I think it's gonna be very difficult for Bernie Sanders to rebound here the one variable of course the one no wild card is by himself as I say he has not been report he's still the guy who can show astounding lapses of judgment he's still the guy who could make gaffes he's still the guy who can show his age very clearly he's still the guy who can appear fumbling and uncertain and in debates with Bernie Sanders and interviews it's still entirely possible for him to make damaging mistakes I think a lot of Democrats even if they rally around by they're holding their breath and hoping that Biden will get its act together and I've seen some signs a few signs of Byton improving on the stop I think he's shown a little bit more energy I think the campaign line about I'm the candidate of those who have been left behind it counted out is a defective and powerful line really echoes of a bill to written of nineteen ninety two the comeback kid although Biden's hardly a kid he's more the comeback teaser than the comeback kid and also this line of of of appealing to the concepts of dignity and civility and normalcy I think they provide a fairly stark contrast to the president who's in the oval office now but Biden is still Biden it was all of his flaws but at this point he's the Democrats best hope and it's gonna be very difficult for Sanders to capture Steve thanks for your thoughts again this morning ABC news political analyst Steve Roberts it's also worth noting that this morning one of the former iPhone 11 will debut on Tuesday with launch happening next week
"Apple has its annual showcase this week while the spotlight turns toward its newer products products on Tuesday. The Star of the show will remain the IPHONE. WSJ reporter trip nickel has more with Charlie Turner trip apple's annual publicity elicited showcase is Tuesday at its headquarters in Cupertino California apple will unveil three new iphones at this event correct three new iphones and and what they're bringing to these new iphones includes some new cameras on the rear of the devices. Is that the main new feature of these phones this time around that is the Maine new feature apples. <hes> you know seems to be placing a bet that a picture's worth a thousand dollars. I guess you could say they're charging on average about nine hundred forty nine dollars dollars for their phones and they'll put one new camera lens on the rear of each of the three devices. Are they going to have faster processors to make these new iphones run on faster correct typical update includes faster processors <hes> you know improve speed as a consequence of that and <hes> some some other bells and whistles but but in large part many analysts are looking at these funds and saying well frankly I think one use a quote they're going to be boring yeah. They're going to be on uninspiring like they're treading water but they still need to sell enough iphones to avoid really the debacle from last year right. I'm apples is in this awkward period where the fence still counts for more than half of its revenues and has to sell enough devices in order to be able to continue you to deliver half of its revenue. It has to look elsewhere for for growth though and and so that's kind of what this event the subtext of this event will be we're we're in a period where apple's beginning to bolt on more new new gadgets ancillary gadgets the iphone <hes> and services to the IPHONE and selling those as a way to deliver growth speaking of the iphone still isn't everyone looking forward to next year when apple's expected to release five G. IPHONES in the investor investor and analyst community. Certainly that's the case the five G. for iphone The iphone that everyone's anticipating. They're looking past this one already looking looking forward to next year. What about other devices trip the New Smart Watch Aka? The Apple Watch is supposed to be more tricked out. We're going to get some <hes> some updates in the health sphere on the Apple Watch but again it's going to be a modest update for the Apple Watch what about services like subscriptions for TV shows video. Oh Games haven't these things already been unveiled apple announced the new services for TV and video earlier this year. It's TV plus arcade or you're going to be the names aims of those. They're due out this fall. What we still don't know is what apple charge for those how it will price them <hes> in other words? We'll bundle these together in in some ways that you could buy multiple apple services for one low price and one more thing trip are the prices for <hes> the new iphones that are coming out are they are gonna stay the same what about that. "Hiring is challenging, but there's one place you can go. We're hiring is simple and smart. That place is ZipRecruiter, where growing businesses. Connect to qualified candidates. Try it for free at ZipRecruiter dot com slash tech. Talk ZipRecruiter, the smartest way to hire. Most people who have a smartphone have cracked the screen at some point in their life, I do. At least one year and a lot of other people do it as well. I just did a piece for USA day about why screens or cracking more often than not. And it's an obvious reason. I'm here with Madeline Perdue, who has joined USA day for the summer as an intern and a sounding board for me on podcasts and we're going to talk about it, Mattie. Do you know why phones or cracking more often article? So now I don't because they're small because there's Finnur lighter and easier to not disturb. Yeah. They're nice durable. So they're cracking. And there's a whole cottage industry as I'm sure, you know, that has grown up of all these independent repair shops that will fix the phone for you for a much lower rate than apple and I did a deep dive into the math of. Apple care, which is a hundred and twenty nine dollars for the older phone, and you only pay twenty nine dollars to get it repaired. Sounds pretty good. But if you go to you break, I fixed it's v. It's eighty nine dollars. So it's always gonna be cheaper to get it repaired then to pay for the insurance. That's my experience. The second thing this is big on the new phones three hundred and twenty nine dollars to fix the screen. Yeah. So what I learned is get a screen protector by from zag. I haven't tried it yet. But a lot of the experts, I spoke to said, definitely get the screen protector. That goes over the glass could really save it now. I, I had a really great crash a few weeks ago, I was in Madrid, and I was shooting time lapse in the morning and I had sided the phone on a tripod and then it started pouring rain. And so I stopped it and grabbed the phone from the tripod it just went straight down onto the the gravel to the concrete and. When two little pieces, tell everybody about your mother case. My mom has a cracked phone screen. She got it because she was at the grocery store, and she had her grocery listener hand and she turned the phone over on the handle to push the car, and it cracked screen. Well, yeah, and what did she do together fish because she had just got the phone from we just switched over to t mobile, and so she just on the phone, and she kind of is still too busy to figure it out. She hasn't done anything about it yet, but she's done it before. We've gone to one of those independent repair shops around the corner and Alan was really great. But I've heard horror stories from my friends about bubbles on the screen or like some parts of it. Not working still and things. Yeah. For our fit. Most people the crack the screen never get him fixed. Yeah. Right. It's like splintering into their thumbs or something on the crack iphone. I was getting glass in my fingers. Yeah. That was a little uncomfortable. Also, I couldn't use the camera. Oh, well, that's crack so bad that I couldn't use the camera, which was very weird. Yeah. But so. Yeah. Anyway, so zag makes the screen protector is highly recommended for a bunch of the experts. I spoke to I vote against apple care, because I think it's cheaper to get the phone repaired, unless you have the iphone ten s max, where no independent repair star will even repair it. Because the costs are so prohibited. It's three hundred twenty nine dollars. But you might try the disaster and see how that goes on Jefferson Graham with USA day, you've been listening to talking tech. Look for me on Twitter at Jefferson. "So you wanna take you take advantage of that? Now when we went to the break, we were talking about things that can boost the sales price of your property, and it's not necessarily just an increase in the dollar amount. You're asking for the property, although that can happen as well. One of the things that's equally as important is how fast do I get to sell this property, if I have certain features in my property that allow me to move my property faster, you ought to know, especially on investment property now, you ought to know how much this is costing me to hold this property one day. One day. So what is my cost of funds for this particular property? It might be seventy five eighty nine ninety to one hundred and thirty six fifty eight just depends on the price of property how how your financing is structured what interest rate you're going to be paying, but you do need to know every single day. It costs me X to own this property. Here's the mental picture that I want you to have when you find that number out. Now, let's just say that this the number is eighty nine dollars and thirty four cents. That's what it's gonna cost eighty nine dollars and thirty four cents to own this particular property for one day. Now, if it cost me eighty nine thirty four and I have this property for sale, and I don't get it sold today. One of the things that I want you to be mentally picturing is your driving down. If it's me your driving west on I twenty you might live over and Dallas where I'm at victory plaza right now, you might be headed northbound seventy five or north on thirty five outta here. Think about rolling the window down and having eighty nine dollars in cash, you got four twenties. You gotta five you got four ones in your hand. So you got eight bills in your hand. And then you got thirty four cents in change you roll that wind down you stick your hand out. And you just throw that out on the highway because if you don't get this house sold everyday it stays on the market. That's what it's costing you eighty nine dollars and thirty four six whatever it happens to be for you. So you start looking at features.
