"At ninety five tomorrow right now it's eighty four degrees in Gilbert weather brought to you by Howard air weather replace or repair call Howard here once again president trump is expected to speak at any moment to the White House press conference on updated guidance for churches in the corona virus pandemic KTAR will carry it live when it happens hi Bob McLean the result is new station KTAR news some the Lightroom head show on KTAR news ninety two three FM and they KTAR news at so as you just heard we are expecting the president to speak at any moment kind of I took everybody by surprise with a press conference with the president should be taking the podium very soon to discuss new guidelines on churches as we re open the nation so it will this is going to be was soon as he takes the podium we'll we'll get to that of the press is in place it looks like they're getting ready so should be any moment we're gonna talk about face coverings at sky harbor airport then it would get as much of this it is we can asking them some questions about how is this all going to work but they've come out with the just with the exclude are the exceptions so you must wear all employees and all guests at sky harbor airport whether you're taking a flight or meeting a flight on the you must wear a face covering except children two years age or two years or younger any child under the age of twenty one you can talk about two year olds of any child under the age of twelve unless parents and care givers supervise the use of face coverings so if I don't want to supervise the use of face coverings I don't have to have my twelve year old with a face covering on you know that's what it's saying any individual who has a physical disability that prevents easily wearing or removing a face covering so I don't know what that is I don't want to make fun of but I don't understand what that group is either any individual who is hearing impaired and uses facial and mouth movements as part of communication or it is necessary for communicating with an individual using facial or mouth movements to share information individuals consuming food or beverages we just had this discussion did me whether or not you could eat so now you can go any good thank god I got to tell you I'm thrilled we're gonna be able to go to four peaks and eat our humble pie I don't know if they're still there or not individuals are unable to wear a face covering do a documented medical condition so you have I don't know do you have to bring the documents or can you just say listen I'm asthmatic or whatever when it is necessary for identification verification purposes so as you approach the SA I would imagine when necessary for taking photographs for aviation credentialing security badging purposes show you have to wear a face covering except when you don't so you are waiting for a flight and you decide you're going to stop at a restaurant Matt's big breakfast to terminal four of four peaks just a couple of my favorites more do you just buy snacks and one of those stores find a seat near your gate and you decide to eat your snacks and take a drink you can take your face covering all this is the confusing mixed mixed message for people when you say it's mandatory to do this and then do you give a list of exceptions that show first of all you're not doing it until June first so we know the longer that we go we're watching cases dwindle the percentages are going down but you why would you wait two weeks well we got to get the word out you can get the word out you could have masks available for purchase at every door in your building you could have you could have people at tables set up to provide masks charge people the minimum for a mask when they came in or a bandanna or whatever else and then explain to them if they don't have the money you'll give him a mask there's if it's that serious if this is this necessary I'm not saying it isn't I'm saying your behavior is saying it isn't why would you wait until June first and I'm gonna ask another question that gets me a little bit bothered a friend of mine posted this online the other day and it's a very good question if masks are the answer to all of these issues why don't we give the masks to prison inmates instead of turning them loose on to the streets masks are the answer why aren't we wearing masks and ending this distancing nonsense now some of them so you're calling distancing nonsense I'm saying why are we saying masks are so effective as not spreading it they're saying it doesn't stop you from getting it it stop you from passing it to someone else so then why doesn't everyone just say if you wear a mask you don't have to distance if you're wearing a mask you're okay at the mixed messages for me this is again the messaging part of this I don't understand I haven't understood I don't know why they're doing it the way they're doing it and now all the face covering rules first of all there waiting two weeks before they implement it then when they implemented there's a list of people that don't have to have it it is younger people that are getting this at a much higher rate and children twelve and under don't have to wear them unless parents are supervising and then you can take it off while you eat so you're waiting at your gate or you're sitting in a restaurant it sends a signal that says this is still a very good suggestion but it is not so dire that you have to wear a mask at least that's the message I'm getting from all of this so we're scheduled to talk about another wave of coronavirus coming our way and work but we're waiting for the president to take the podium the White House announced just moments ago that they are planning a press conference they were scheduled for ten AM Arizona time they're a little bit late for that but what's going to happen is the president is going to take the podium to talk about guidelines updated guidelines for churches re opening we had a conversation with some of the faith leaders what in particular from a church called Paul Croft in north Phoenix out and waiting till it's safer for congregants to gather so some new guidelines coming out from the White House and the CDC which were awaiting the president to do that as soon as the president takes the podium obviously another reason why you should download the KTAR news app because when these notifications happen you'll get up on the app and you'll be able to listen on the apple whatever device you're on you'll be able to hear it so we're waiting for the president and it it will either talk about the second wave of coronavirus or he what the president has to say depending on the time table the White House that'll be coming up here in just a few moments and I didn't to be honest with you I am anxious to hear what the White House has to say on this so we'll do this here in just one moment you know great local companies called AZ valley windows have been dealing with them for a long time they're very good people we got to meet with the owners and talk to them about how proud they are being A. plus rated by the better business bureau understanding people have gotten stimulus checks understanding that people are looking for wise ways to add value to their homes livability this checks all the boxes new windows and doors it's because livability noise reduction keeping that condition they're.

I was walking my Frenchie Ruger in about eighty four degree weather. I didn't think anything of it. Because honestly, it didn't seem too hot outside it just rained. So it was quite humid. And that was something I overlooked. At the time. We went for our usual walk on a paved trail, which is very shaded and on our way back to the car. He started panting very very heavily. And I noticed that he was foaming at the mouth. I picked him up and carried him back to the car. I laid them down in the back seat and drove home as quickly as I could at this point his body was limp. And he was continuing to pant heavily. I knew that he was over heated and immediately went to work to try and cool him down. I soaked some towels and cool water and place them over his body, including his head placed his little pause and some cold water as well when that didn't seem to help I placed him in the bathtub with a thin layer of cool water just enough to cover his feet at this point. He started to shake and lose control of his bowels. I knew this was not a good sign. So I rushed him to the emergency vet. I raced. They're not even paying attention to traffic lights. Just probably not a good thing. But all I could think about was my poor baby. I call the head to the vet. And they met me outside. They rushed him back and immediately started working on him. I have to be honest as a bit of a basket case at this point. But once they stabilized him the vet came into the room and told me that he was okay for the time being and that I saved him by mmediately cooling him down..
