Biden Leading Trump in 6 Battleground States

"Polling four days out Fox News has done. Their final national poll shows Bahn's lead over trump narrowing to eight points. North Carolina new NBC News, Marriage Paul Has Biden leading trump by six in Florida YouGov Today Has Biden leading in Florida by to in Georgia WSB TV has a statistical tie between Biden and trump. Of course, can we trust polls given what we all experienced and twenty sixteen to address that worry at the New York Times nate Cohn keeps up a chart that is the if the polls are as wrong as twenty sixteen chart which I find. Very comforting. The columns on the left here. That's the current. Twenty two thousand polling average in these key states this year, the columns on the right in both cases That's what the polling average would look like if you adjusted it to correct for the polls being as wrong as they were in two thousand sixteen. So like in Pennsylvania, you see Biden is leading on average this year by six points in Pennsylvania. But if the polls are as wrong as 2016, than Biden would still be ahead by two. In Florida Biden's average lead right now is three points in the polls. But if the polls are as wrong as they were in two thousand, sixteen in Florida, than Biden, would be leading by less than one point, which is you know Florida's Mo less than one percentage point differences is the way they do business. What would this mean? Overall election today as nate Cohn notes polling sleeves translate perfectly to result, and they won't then Biden would win the electoral college three, hundred and fifty seven to one eighty one. But if state polls were as wrong as they were in two thousand sixteen than bite me what still win but by a smaller margin three, thirty, five to two or three. Anyway, that's what the polls say even when adjusted for your post two thousand sixteen eighty. Four days left will know soon

"Eighty two eighty four eighty four days or so is a seventy six okay seventy six in that case it was conta and the prime minister would to be seventy six I'm thinking that would be James Callaghan yep okay yeah which was later what is it about that time frame as you were saying the other day said to some friends is it your first mortgage in the U. K. was around that time it was much it was the interest rate yeah it was nineteen seventy seven I was twenty three years old and it was almost fifteen percent to about fourteen point seven five percent and and in America to their people but we were paying over twenty percent they go bad it was outrageous inflation is not a a goal was in the UK I got lucky and you have by by nineteen eighty so it was worse it was it was dreadful and we lost Paul Volcker the guy who beat him the guy who finally beat inflation we lost Paul Volcker this year yeah that's right never to Chris for you is what becomes of the brokenhearted by Robson and Jerome what a great song I love that song yes and it's got to be is sense could that be I want to say it sixty four is that right he just said it it's a trick question is where it came out in the nineties yes Robson Jerome were it was interesting though to actors on a show about the army and the one of the episodes they did karaoke and they were really quite good and so before you knew they brought out a record a couple records all these are that you became charts bass road using the haters because I was like Peter said terra went number one was like pretty impressive okay so in the not so then I will say ninety eight for ninety first okay ninety six and Bill Clinton and Tony Blair John Mayer on major major I got it right with my swimming is on right exactly which was your number one choice all right although I should have you checked because when did Tony Blair become prime minister didn't he also in ninety six Jason what time of year was it Sir Tony Blair was months after the okay all world only months okay scepter that was a trick question in two ways that savage yes really brutal Jason Momoa Jason you got my point I and number three for you Peter is I feel for you by Chaka Khan yeah yeah I'm in on that that is the top of that is really tough tough a it is I I thought I could give you a shock it can't be be before nineteen eighty yeah I know that it can't go after nineteen ninety well you're very kind so I will go for eighty four and therefore say that it was wrong of Reagan and Margaret Thatcher what to do and what a great song I mean you got it all right there that's that's eighties right mail on it mmhm you know this on there if I heard a probably would but that was never a big shock a confab leave the set the content actually I'd like a smoke ring here in the studio right now from the contempt my lip like Elvis number eight three for you Chris is that there's always something there to remind me Sandi Shaw yeah hat well eighty eight now what is making hand gestures I'm not sure about being directed to cross town bus that was a number one it was a number one and and it was always something there to remind me so it's eighty eight eighty seventies nineties now sixties sixties really is giving you the hand signal of nineteen sixty four so that's that was a one that was a hit in the U. S. is a remake later yes sandy shoal was a hit in the sixties in the UK she was famous for appearing on in bad feet whenever she sang so always something there to remind me the remake which I also thought was British was it eighties like at an early eighties smash the show sixty four smoke bomb all bringing people together yeah all right so that would be ending.

"New York where's your driver's license you had a driver's license in New York or is it in Florida where does your mail go where is your physician in other words if you're getting your hair cut in New York it's kind of hard to demonstrate that that's not your primary domicile and by the way when I say that you've got to spend a hundred eighty four days a year in New York you know that six months and a day you're declared a New York resident that doesn't mean your overnight in there let's say that you live in Maine I am you are flying to Europe and in order to do that you gotta go to JFK and can act for your flight to Europe showing up at a New York airport counts as a day in New York just driving through paying a toll on your way from Connecticut to New Jersey counts as a day in New York according to New York tax authorities and therefore it's kinda easy to add up those hundred and eighty four days that levy you as a New York resident I know by the way how are you going to prove that you warrant in New York you see you know what your does these days they pull data from cellphone carriers they look at social media sites and if they paying you that your cell phone was all on the Long Island expressway well Hey guess what kind of hard to to argue that you were in Florida and it's also kind of hard for you to debate the point with those auditors and yes they will alright you every single person in New York who changes their state of residence gets audited by New York tax authorities since twenty ten New York has conducted more than three thousand non residency audits they done that on an annual basis yeah now almost thirty thousand new Yorkers I should say former New Yorkers have had their situations audited by New York state tax examiners and those audits have determined that a lot of those folks genuinely warrant leaving New York they are still considered by New York to be residents and it's yielded a billion dollars in taxes for the state in New York so although governor Cuomo on the news that Donald Trump has filed a declaration of domicile to leave the city although he said on the news good riddance they might be saying good riddance to the president but he's not saying good riddance to the president's money about that before you decide to up and leave because an awful lot of folks as they reach retirement age you might even think I miss yourself saying okay it's time for me to retire I think I'm gonna leave my high tax state and go to a sunnier weather down to Florida with zero income tax Texas zero income tax vada great skiing in the north good desert on the south zero income tax and other low tax states be aware that the state that you're planning to leave just might not in favor of the idea you need some good solid advice on this issue that's really what it comes down to as you're contemplating your own retirement as the president clearly is as he contemplates what he is he going to do if not next year should he lose reelection but four years after that when he's clearly out of office what you gonna do where you're gonna live and tax efficiency becomes a big deal question that's something you need to get good solid financial advice about you also need to get good advice to make sure you're doing it correctly it's not merely signing a piece of paper and make a statement you've got to do what's necessary to prove the point and that's why.

president but I think he thought I was proud of it but I wasn't I was the good part of it Hey that guy needs to lose a little weight I love the guy is the best thing that ever happened is country which is going to make them even crazier because even the guy he was making fun of doesn't mind that he made fun of them and here's the the the job the real point of this the guy is the one that that's why trump did it because the guy is the one that helped me he just trying to figure out something you can kind of look make fun of them about because you think she's a protester George has all that guy's got a weight problem go home exercise get on the trouble and listen thank god I got more chins than a Chinese phone book these days so I mean and I keep thinking I'm going to try and then I started and then I stop and then I give up because I like just I don't have and don't have any vices I don't drink I don't smoke I don't gamble just give me a burger can I please can I have a pizza with extra sauce I mean we we we we hired this kid Derek who's working around works out now it works here this kid lives at the gym and he just I mean I Eric is at the gym every time I call in these the president make fun of the guy I gives you making fun of me that I'd still laugh dans on the Mike Gallagher show eight hundred six five five Mike this is gonna be a weird day because my last day before vacation and so I'm going to need a couple of favors before your screen ability know that I'd seen on fox at the protester was a call to drop that you've I just was listening in your report he was even having no it was and then he was expecting a certain zero god here we go and he goes you know what he says I am a little over where you know what I I love the guy well I mean even I'm telling you there are people who believe the trump to deal with the devil because everything he falls into it comes out about like a rose even calling out I mean think about it Dan even calling out we we free thinks it's a protester it's not because that could have been a DA Bakul they interview the guy and the guy still loves him he didn't care hello don't know what to do the medium has no idea what to do this so we got in there and all of a sudden every time they got out I know off to the one more thing how are you enjoying the I live in Orlando so how are you enjoying the humidity here for you know what it doesn't bother me for some reason I think it's because I I I got lucky and found a place like literally on the water and I think when you live on the beach it doesn't really bother you because you're on the beach you know I mean it's like all my life I think it's a lifetime of of with my family trying to go on a vacation on the beach and you don't really mind the heat or humidity when you can hop on the water you know and I just there's it doesn't doesn't bother you what bargainers as nineteen fifty seven a little used to it I a date yet yeah though it it's it's smaller more more arms season when I got my kids down there and I'm enjoying the beach and the but thanks for asking Dan yeah I'm enjoying my Florida living I really am I'm I'm having a great time and it was a big decision because I have never done like this before and I've kind of locked in the dual residency thing spending most of my time in Florida a lot of time in New York don't worry they listen IRS says okay I'm ready I'm dot every I think I've crossed every G. hundred eighty four days are better in Florida and I've got a little app obviously not to do this if you if you're interested get this out of the way quick in my hotel is a listing with my dog ate my homework subject there's an app called tax day and tax day keeps track of bide your GPS when you are in the state you're in there so if you travel a lot if you you know good because now you have to pay income depending on your your your category and why and your Deming all that stuff you pay taxes work where you where you work so if you work in a state of your working a job in your another state gonna pay their taxes a stencil with anyway tax day keeps track of the threshold yeah but through your GPS keeps track of where you are and then you just pop pop in receipts you take pictures of receipts you put all the Japanese stored on the cloud and when that dreaded day comes where they want you to prove that you are indeed a Florida resident hopefully have all the documentation they need and yes don't worry I've done all the things I think I'm supposed to do and I've absolutely moved to Florida if there is a full time residents so and I paid non resident taxes in New York when I'm in New York so but it's been an interesting year to say the least and I've never done anything like this in my life and I'm enjoying it all right we gotta get down to business seventeen minutes past the hour here in the really factor dot com studios there's a big protest going on in Philadelphia and I want to share this with you because I have kind of held my tongue over the Philadelphia shootings where a convict a felon a guy without a huge rap sheet could have killed a number of police officers I'm praying for the people of Philly I'm praying that there is no violence today because there's going to be a huge protest in Philadelphia tie all about that coming up it's a little bit hard for me to digest the image of people tontine hurling expletives and throwing things at police officers who have just been shot at by a.

I'm doing the math one hundred seventy. Thank you. so you know about forty percent little over forty percent of the time we've seen some measurable precipitation that's the first time that that's happened since eighteen seventy eight so you know what you're onto something and i'm with you i'm following you here because this is bad and it's getting me down and it's getting me wet these other i don't want to be wet and down at the same time down fine not both where where where is there hope in this is there are we stuck in an omega block no well the the jets trees pretty high but the there's no block in place right now a block would actually help because as we can we buy a block he'll i think we could buy a block paul lynda block from somewhere.

"And the guy who was i did the work on planet of the apes is he the guy who helped develop the the masks with you that's where it began with us his name was john chambers he was he was the first hollywood makeup expert to get at star on the walk of fame to get an oscar he did planet of the sweden turn people into apes interested in his technology and his materials that was really the beginning of our mask program we went way past what they do in movies they have lights they have retakes they have all kinds of opportunities to make it right we had one shot when we're using a mask on the streets of moscow and it had to be it had to be difficult because without lights and and masks and heavy makeup and everything else that sometimes you know when you see people in heavy makeup etcetera it's very obvious and i would be really difficult to make it look real and not like a rubber mask Well the parameters. put it on garage parking garage get out of the car and know that it was perfect that that was aligned that it was registered that it was on and then it would not draw any attention with the hair and everything yeah so with the hair and everything you just pull it over your head like a stocking cap but yeah it would pull it off i stood in front of george h w bush in the oval office when he was president i was wearing one i had just briefed him i told him why was there to show him a new product he said well he looked at my hands looked around i didn't have a bag he said well where is it and i i did at tom cruise reveal actually i put my finger everyone side of it and just peeled it off of my face and mike mike cross gates was there and they were all incredulous at at how good it was my gosh you and your husband also the author of argo which was made into a movie you went in or your husband your husband did you did not go into i did not i watched from the sidelines holding my breath i bet tell me a little bit tell me about that in case anybody doesn't know about argo and and what you and your husband were involved in was an artist he was hired as an artist by the c._i._a. he had a very creative mind and when the iranian revolution happened and sixty some americans were taken hostage at our embassy after it was overrun six escaped out a back door they were on the streets of tehran didn't know where to go the canadians bless their hearts took them in and the canadians held onto these american house gas they call them houseguests that kept them for eighty four days but someone had to come up with a way to get them out of the country and tony with his connections to hollywood came up with an idea of disguising them as a hollywood location scouting party looking for just the right bizarre for their movie he said everyone knows it hollywood little bit crazy cover they thought show tony went in gave them all their new bios their new names their new histories their new backgrounds you said it learn it you have two days and he walked out to the tehran airport through the revolutionary guards with her trigger finger and attitude with their guns at their side that airport was dangerous dangerous place walked out and everybody went home safe and happy and we still see those six houseguests we still see them maybe once a year we we we bump into them frequently i just got a letter from one saying how many times can we thank you for saving her life mazing that's amazing and it's it's amazing to me you're in you're in moscow the moscow rules which that will it means means what exactly the moscow rules book talk last night in seattle and the the the chief of station moscow c._i._a. station moscow who is in the book talk last night he said that one rule that you put in float like a butterfly sting like a bee before mohammed ali pick that up as a as a motto that was the c._i._a. station in moscow that was our mantra and jack was very pleased to see that it was in the book they are rules comportment their rules of behavior when you're smothered with with with with surveillance but you still have to communicate with the russians who are providing us with intelligence of what are you gonna do these these were the rules that allowed you to stay safe to keep your agent safe most importantly to keep the agents safe because if you were found out it would simply be thrown out of the country and embarrassed with newspaper photos but that agent was exposed and that's what they wanted with the agent he would be arrested taken to lubyanka he would be executed it would be shot in the back of the head they did it over and over and over and when aldrich ames that huge aldrich ames case officer about a dozen russians were arrested and killed james exposed so do do we have moscow rules now i mean if i if i understand this right it's rules that we all kind of play by in some regard where we don't have those rules anymore or is that just basic spy etiquette and moscow rules are different will always be morphine and changing as tactics evolve so in the news cyber verse that we all live in i'm sure that there is a a technological bent to these rules now that was not there then but a lot of these are kind of evergreen one of them is don't harass the opposition which means pardon me but it means don't piss off your surveillance because they will come after you and they can do that they can bumper lock you they can smother you with surveillance there's an incident in very beginning of the book that happened in two thousand sixteen where an american diplomat is is trying to exit a taxi and walk into his american embassy three o'clock in the morning he's attacked and he's beaten to a bloody pulp and he's medevac out the next day he never could go back they broke his clan Michael. man was really wounded when tony mendez my husband saw the youtube video of that attack tony looked at me and said never harassed the opposition they will they will know what he did but he really really ticked off so we're talking to john mendez he was former chief of disguises c._i._a. her husband was the lead character if you will i think played by ben affleck in argo she was a c._i._a. officer working on moscow in and and other areas what looking at this i'm sure you and your husband you know have so much experience to be able to look at it and say here's what everybody's missing what is the mo what is what poses the biggest threat to us right now do you think is it is it technology is it china iran russia Global warming. What what do you see as? i mean every one of those is serious profound threat every one of them every one of them is an opportunity to stumbled into or or over excite or react every one of them is about a bomb waiting to go off if if we play it wrong so putin said much more intricate place than it used to be putin go ahead i'm sorry putin what did you say putin putin says that we're already in world war three the west just doesn't recognize it you know what i think is i think that we are still in the cold war and and that even the title of this book is slightly misleading because you could make pretty strong case in it grows stronger all the time that the cold war perhaps never ended but that it just went dormant that it just was you know at a at a low burn for a while i think the the same people just they just changed uniforms like you and i are on the same page on that i mean that that that dawned on me about i don't know twenty years ago when we thought we won and then i went wait a minute but where did all the old communists go where they just took off their uniform and started using different titles and put on a suit and they're still running it i'm looking at a paragraph at the very end of our book talking about the cold war and it says the game has changed this is part of that great game it's become more of a contact sport rougher bills more elastic the prize more precious putin's attempts to manipulate the u._s. government have broadened the playing field and taking the game into new territory the u._s. political arena and we go on and talk about his goal of stabilizing the west and these russian intelligence officers have tools that we could not have imagined twenty years ago the cyber tools the the digital tools are we prepared for what we're facing i'm pretty confident we we came out of the technical side the d._d._s. and she directed science and technology it's c._i._a. we were the cue we were the gadget guys but we were much more than gadgets i think our technical expertise absolutely at least matches what they have and probably over matches what we have america's power in that in that area is profound go i feel good that we can counter any threat that they that they offer and we can probably do some interesting counterattacking on our own john mendez thank you so much she's the author of the moscow rules was former chief of disguise c._i._a. she just said her her husband tony was was really kind of q from the james bond series the new book written by both of them the moscow rules worth the read thank you so much john It was a pleasure. Thank you. all right i wanna talk to you a little bit about x. chair experience justice unbelievable chair that we have here in the studios and you can adjust it to fit your body exactly so however it is wherever you need the lumbar support all of our bodies are different wherever you need your arms to be where wherever you want that seat to be way up front or back farther it's amazing ten different adjustments on this chair making it the best chair that i've ever ever said invest office chair honestly this is comfortable as a recliner now you can find out yourself if that is true by taking it up for thirty day test drive if you love it keep it if you don't if it's not everything i say it is.

"eighty four days" Discussed on Xtra Sports Radio 1300 AM

"Date here are a few are things you need to know. There are eighty four days between now and the smack off twelve weeks a shade under three calendar months. There is a timeframe and a rhythm to all of this. There are certain milestones along the road to the smack off. It's a marathon boxes to check milestones. Along the way. For instance. You have the announcement. That's today. Then there will be the release of the official smack off promo and Alvin delauro production. That's coming. Then there will be the time. Right. Ask you to send in photos, if you want them to be shown on TV joined the smack off. I don't want them right now. I will ask for them. When I want them not now. Then there's smack off week with some participants may choose to make their prefight weigh in calls. And then there is the actual smack off. What I'm saying is there's plenty of time between now and the smack off. This is not a rush people ask me all the time. What makes a winning smack off call? My answer is always the same. I can't say I can't explain it. I can't say not because I won't say because it's a secret. But because a winning smack off call is something that's other worldly. Right. It has that it that thing that you can't describe and you can't explain, but you know, it when you hear it. So I can't tell you exactly what makes them winning call. Just did you when you hear it as a reminder here is the winning call from last year. And you'll see exactly what I mean when I say that this is from twenty eighteen hey for those of you not watching on CBS sports network right now, I want every. To head over to my Twitter feed. At Brad in corona I got some really tasteful photos for you to check out in a quick request. When you guys Photoshop these things and then pass them around the interwebs later can remove that pimple from my ass. And now that I look at it. I got a mole that I should probably get checked out. Hey, Jay, Stu, maybe you can eyeball that thing for me and give me your professional opinion for the rest of you on the radio. I'll just describe what's happening. I got really set up with Matt and Tyler talking about how good looking they are and calling all Americans fat because we're not all fat. So I got a custom made banana hammock with Matt's face right up by my banana and Tyler space around back near my hammock cones rest assured, I don't want to do this. I never wanted to do this. I have to do this. This one is for America. You say you say breathe it in boys. Had love the pictures, Matt. And Tyler sent in today, by the way, I just want to say for the record that you guys. Aren't even good-looking. You're just good-looking compared to Mark in Boston and Rick in buffalo, but let's face it. Those two guys are pretty much last. Call slumped busters for any woman drunk enough to go home with them from their local Applebee's. Filer? Apparently the rhino Plassey procedure hasn't made its way north of the Canadian border yet. Because if it had you would have already whittled down that massive schnauzer years into something more manageable, dude your face looks like that helmet. Brad Pitt war in the movie. Troy, I also enjoy those picks of your girlfriend from earlier in the week sitting on that motorcycle. Yeah. Judging by the way, you and your boy, Matt like to make your sandwiches. I'm guessing that's probably the only hog she'll be writing anytime soon, by the way brokering that take down to southern California. She's a seven and a half a best down here marking Hollywood made the transition this year from actor to professional author. And by that, I mean, he just writes home to mom and dad wants a week asking for help with the rent money on an ongoing monthly series and quite tearjerking for Mark parents. I'm not saying times are hard for Mark in Hollywood, Jim what I am saying is the only acting work. He's had lately consists of trying to convince the cashier at WalMart that the dog food he buys once a week is actually for a dog enough for him to shout down on in the parking lot. I've caught him doing on the regular Jimmy. I'm so glad Mike in. Indian unretired the other day only twenty four hours after no one cared that he retired in the first place. Mike mazing isn't he Jim like he genuinely believes that? He is the best ever. And that he's won every smack off. He's ever competed in I should tell you. He also genuinely believes that the earth is flat T is stored in the balls and those bumps he got after hooking up with his cousin. We're just bug bites. So take it for what it's worth. He's got up at cruise Pentagon volunteering to put the smack off winner's name on his race car for one race crews. I don't want to look at gift horse in the mouth here. But dude, this ain't the five hundred race NHRA drag cars that lasts like five seconds. The only thing quicker than that with less publicity would be Vikyno. No Cal volunteers to shout out the winner's name the next time you had sex. Brad, brad. And that clones Tyler Matt Mike Mona Caballo nation. In the words of my boys. Shaquille O'Neal that is the difference between first and last place for everybody. Take a good look at my Twitter feed and the monitor's on CBS sports channel right now. Pitch. Jeremy Hubbard has takes Matthew termi Homa ass tastes, mocking. Indie. Tell me how my ass tastes carbonation. Tell me how my ass tastes everybody. Tell me how my taste less in LA gimmick bitch. Tell me how my ass tastes. This dude, man. And you're going to argue with me that it's not the see versus the field. Left in the game. Beach. All right. So that's how it sounds. That's a winning call that wasn't even the call in its entirety. That's a winning call. What makes them winning call? I can't tell you. But I knew as soon as I heard Brad's call last year that was winning call. So I can't help you come up with a winning call. But I can't help you. I can't offer. You some advice? Here's why can give you some wisdom. The wanna listen to check. This make me want to take your call that day repeat that for you make me want to take your call that day. What does that mean? It means a lot of things the biggest thing it means is just because you're in the smack off. It doesn't mean you'll actually get into the smack off. Just because you're in the field does not guarantee that you'll get on the air asked. Jeff enrichment, Jeff enrichment is a legend he proved it again yesterday. But even he did not make it onto the air last year getting into the smack off fueled is tough getting on the air for the smack off is even tougher which brings me. Back to my original piece of advice. Make me want to take your call that day. In other words, don't overdo it right now don't leave your game in the locker room. Don't waste your best material in April or may you'll need it June twenty-first more calls between now and the smack off might not be better. In fact, for a lot of you is worse way too much ice in the drink. You might be feeling it you might be feeling that buzz, but don't waste your energy right now. Don't make everybody. Tired of you right now. If you're a golden ticket holder, you have to defend it. But don't make me regret giving it to you. And definitely don't make me rip it back from you. If you're holding a golden ticket or you're hunting for one if I see your name on my screen.
