"New england with cam newton away from the patriots because the kobe protocols rookie mack. Jones has taken first team reps. This week earned the starting quarterback job now are patriots reporter. Mike reese joined us in the last hour and he had this to say about mack jones at practice. One member of the team. Describe what mac did yesterday. As special the giants were really complimentary. We charted every pass. We add them thirty five or forty he had eighteen. Th straight completions at one point and there was one moment that i wanna highlight. He led the patriots at the end. The practice two minutes real to a touchdown eighty yards down the field. He's kneeling on the sideline. After the drill. Bill belichick comes over extends his hand. Maybe it's a high five. Maybe it's a low five whatever you wanna call it when bill belichick does that. It's a job. Well done equivalent of any other coach. Dancing a jig. You gotta imagine what that must feel. Like for mac jones and dan orlovsky. I can't believe massinissa as we welcome. And louis riddick as well and adam. Schefter dan is this mac jones's job to lose at this point. It feels like that. It feels like it's mac jones job to lose right now and i'm interested. I believe they're joined practice with the giants starts in like an hour. I wanna know quarterback trots out there with the number one offense. That's what i want to know right now because coming off of yesterday's performance when he goes thirty five forty and also eighteen straight completions for everybody at home. It's hard to throw eighteen straight completions on air. You're throwing an object downfield to a moving target. Eventually you're gonna miss one. Eight hundred straight and competition is so impressive and it just seems like mac as an individual is doing what notorious.

"Capped off the practice in the two minute drill leading the patriots down the length of the field. And i could tell you. A number of different throws decisions. he made. that were good. But i'll leave you with this visual after that. Dr matt jones is on one knee on the sideline bill. Belichick walked over to him extended his hand and it was a high five low five. Whatever you wanna call it but you know when bill belichick does that. It's a job well done yet. You probably could count on one hand. How many of those high or low fives you've actually received or anybody's received from bill belichick. Thanks so much. Mike for the picture that you painted their. Data's you hear those numbers automatic joan today. What does that mean to you. I mean the numbers. Thirty five and forty is impressive. I care if it's in a joint practice. Eighteen straight is hard to do on air. I think mike reece's word said at the best while not as i've seen a lot. That is a big time performance by the rookie. Marcus how much can coach is actually learn from these joint practices because there are people out there right now. They're like oh come on guys it's just practice. Give us the details there well. This is the blessing of the job that we have is that we can take you behind the scenes and listen. These practices are more important than the actual preseason games. Because you're getting more thrown that you're under mack. Jones is under more pressure from patrick. Graham's defendant patron would show in a preseason game because teams are trying to hide their ammunition going into the season not only that this is so unfortunate for cam. The fall in the middle of getting actual reps against a different team different looks different blitz games and the fact listed. This is the one thing that that that dan understands in with mike just reported and everybody up here like mag jones is getting real time evaluation. Yeah with a gets people that he is actually going to play against at some point during the regular season and for cam not to be there to give opposite view the bill belichick and make him think about things to me is just is such a bad situation for cam. Newton the fact that make jones is able to get these reps against people that and plays and schemes. He'll face during the season and the way he's answering. The bail gives those coaches confidence to put him in the game. Number one at four ten eastern time today feels like this is now mac jones's job to lose tile jack and sounds like it's mac jones's job to lose after what's happened today number two. I wake up tomorrow morning and one of the things that will be paying attention to that. I want to know the most. Who's going with the ones tomorrow. I want to know what quarterback absolutely because this is not a one day. Joint practice venture with the giants. It's a two day. And if cam newton who will be back at practice at least eligible to practice tomorrow is there and mack. Jones walks out with the ones that tells me everything that tells me. That today was a moment. That opportunity was taken advantage of. And mac joan is going to have another opportunity tomorrow to kind of continue to solidify. And then he'll have the opportunity. Be the guy going into sunday. Preseason game number three and then wins the starting job. I do believe after today. This is mack jones. His job to give back wall. Mac jones's career has been oftentimes categorized by a lot of doubt. He has found ways every single time. Take advantage of opportunities that have come as wakefield. What do we know about what the patriots thank with this cam. Newton situation. yeah so obviously. This began on saturday. Which is why tomorrow is the day in which he's able to reenter the training facility. And there's been some reported frustration from the organization towards cam and that is not in the sense. I've gotten at all as a matter of fact cam unfairly so is often an easy target. He's an incredible for the patriots in so many ways this off season and i do not get the sense from talking to people. There was frustration this week. What i do get the sense on. Is this situation is a reminder of what the twenty twenty one season will once again represent in the nfl. I don't care if you best quarterback in the league but he's never missed a game this entire career. There is a possibility that you could wake up on saturday morning or sunday morning. The day of the game and not have your quarterback or a player on your roster for five days. You better be ready. Depth matters more now than ever before in the nfl. The patriots not game you practice learned that this week teams in a completely different realm now because it really is about depth at all positions right not even just at quarterback express all new and may express you from the stretches teams in the game two continents boosting suits that. That's geico dot com new. Nfl live this from adam. Schefter twitter just now. the packers have place wide receiver. Devin funchess on r that ends his season. Just another blow. We've had quite a few preseason injuries and always disappointing to see another one was cam acres running back for the rams. We found that he was out for the season like just a matter of time before they'd go look at the running back depth and they did that today trading for former patriots running back sony michelle. The patriots get too late round. Conditional draft picks. The rams get much-needed talented running back. So michelle scored. The only touchdown in the pats ram super bowl by the way from couple years ago now. He joins the rams and reunites with running back coach from college at georgia. Thomas brown rams aren't necessarily known for being a ground and pound team but that's not entirely true wall significant majority of their yards of come through the air since sean mcveigh's arrival in two thousand seventeen they also have ranked in the top ten in russia tents and three of his four seasons as head coach. And the only season they didn't they missed the playoffs. Run game a huge part of this offense. Dan how do you feel about the move. It's a smart move because it was needed. This is a team that needed some help. At the tailback position one. I think he'll fit good in their gap scheme to i believe will excel excel in their zone scheme which i want to see more of that outside zone scheme that we've seen so well for so many different teams and that's a scheme that always props backs up in makes those backs actually performed production-wise better than they are think of alfred morris with washington. Think of all the san francisco backs over the last couple of years of college. Shannon devante freeman would call shanahan in atlanta jamal jamal williams last year in green bay average four and a half yards. Carry in that zone scheme. It's something i want the rams to do more okay with all that being said make no bones about this team and this offense is going to be good as number nine. We'll take as far as number nine. We'll take them and it is nasty staffer. This is a good solid pickup. They turned it in matthew stafford to take them close to the super bowl to the nfc title game. That's the expectation sony. Michelle is a good piece but they will go as far as matthew. Stafford's arm sean. Jackson's health cooper cups ability to stay healthy that offensive line. It's a pickup. It's more dependent on how well the quarterback plays which is why to your point. This is linda for near tampa. Now this is the same situation like. Tom brady needed a guy and he could depend on a guy with some experience. And i do believe this to. I believe sony. Michelle will be a better player for the rams. Didn't he was in new england. It seems like he's phased-out anywh england like it wasn't an enthusiastic approach to plan the position. I don't know that to be true. But i do believe.

And last night in the williamsport little league. Classic indians pitcher. "He's only one of his last five exit. Last i think august eighty against the mex- with ankle discomfort in his august whips quite high as well. So he's gonna keep the mexicans. What we need here is mcgill. Keep us in the game. I can take this game. Go in maybe in the seven to two awesome to like that. Now it's going to be very high scoring but hopefully the mexican this over the light. And i think we get a little bit decent a decent value dokic moon afford to you. What do you make of ood to yeah. I think we're we talked about with. Dave is that you're finding your you have to adapt right. And i think that both you and i are finding even though the mets have not been good. They're still going to be competitive and bike. I pick the mets. Last this past weekend i get these might pick is going off right now against. Yeah we're slinging. Yeah they're heading on my thread so hopefully they can come through and we have a winning week. But there's a great spot. Bet for the the mets. And i think you know with with this fani. That's kind of struggling like you mentioned in your handicap. This is a good spot for the mets. To maybe sneak one out against the giants and then going to your Your log we love madison bumgarner. Like you mentioned. He's really turned around in the second half of the season especially july in that skirt ghana carried into august so If you're feeling frisky like like malcolm mention you know might a look at taking the d-backs run line which i'm pretty sure will be plus price so You know hopefully we have a great week. Here Like we did last weekend. And i know scott has some picture us also. Hey guys scott rochelle back again with your lock and dog for the week quickly recapping how we did over the weekend. We ended up sweeping the board. We went to an all sold for another sweep over the next few days. Starting off with the walking looking at wednesday's card will like the angels on the run line at the orioles. A couple of reasons why we like display first of all baltimore has lost eighteen straight games. Seventeen of those eighteen losses have come by at least two ron's within the angel should fair pretty well in this spot. Pause the angels have one each of the first three meetings this season as they have fair pretty well against the orioles up to this point. Meanwhile the orioles have been really underwhelming at home. This season as the orioles have lost forty of their first fifty. Seven games at camden yards. This season and the most important factor is the fact that otani is on the mound for the angels and over the last month twenty seven innings pitched one point six seventy array. I think he'll pick jim once again. And i think baltimore is going to struggle whether it's gonna be the starter or the reliever when the angels win this game going away a transitioning over to the dog. Looking at tuesday's card will like the rockies on the money line on the road against the cubs the rockies have won five of their lives six games while the cubs have lost thirteen straight home games which is a franchise record marquez on the mound for colorado in night games this season ninety two and two thirds innings pitched three point two five year a expecting the perform. Well in the spot. Meanwhile you have steel pitching four. Chicago was pretty good numbers but he has never gone more than five innings. In an appearance this season so even pitches well. he should probably not pitch too long. And chicago's bullpen has been a mess. Lately i the rockies get it done a pretty railroad victory spot..

"Ya Doing well i'm just happy that we got football first week. Preseason 's back we have training camps in full swing. I really wanted to bring you on just to talk about what you think right. Now about the raiders and the transition. Because you have been in las vegas and you have been around the nfl for such a long time. What you think about this team. And how they made their debut here in las vegas. Well you gotta be encouraged. I mean let's take it with a grain of salt. It's a preseason game and obviously you know russell. Wilson didn't play for seattle. But anytime heidi that you can build winning habits take a look at the baltimore ravens. For example eighteen straight preseason games. They've won so you say what's the big deal but you also look at the baltimore ravens. The last handful of years. Who do you think of as an immediate contender them. So the point being is winning habits can be instilled winning attitudes winning philosophies and i thought the raiders acquitted themselves. Well peterman had his his up and down moments during that game. I thought a kid. I really like out of illinois nate. Hobbs weddings going to wind up being a starter. I thought he had a very effective game. Plus the fact that you've got fans in the stands now in vegas for the first time after last year with covert and such all in all. It's a feel good moment. I think for the raiders and the organization also puts away the distraction of the team president. Leaving you know within the last week or so. So all in all from what i was able to gather heidi thumbs up. If you will for the raiders performance against the seahawks and love. That you touched on nate. Hobbs right there because he's been somebody. I think that until the public was able to see him on television here in the preseason game against the seahawks weren't quite sure what he was capable of. And now even though it's young pre-season and we're talking about second teamers and third teamers. I think that it's still somebody that is going to make himself a part of this team and possibly like you said a starter in that lot. Cornerback position so what do you know about nate hobson. What kind of things do you think he can. Bring to. The table at the raiders. Always funny you asked me that because we had the young man. On shortly after the draft on sirius. Xm nfl radio and reading his background. Heidi i came away. It was eerily similar in a way to my family situation. He was you know his his dad had moved on. I guess and he became the man of the family of a belief four siblings course. My dad had passed away when i was five months old..

"Going to be taking green bay big time and it's just it's just how it's going to go because we've seen enough already the limitations that they have with tastes hill but other than that nothing really to take away from that game. Trace mcsorley in. Tyler hundley played quarterback for the ravens. No lamar jackson Rishaad bateman was injured during the week. He may miss some serious time into the season. Reports are coming out are saying around week. Four five is oval return. But what an incredible streak now. Eighteen straight wins by the ravens. It's a lot of respect. Doesn't really mean anything. You see a lot of the best teams in the league. Lose every game in the preseason. It doesn't matter I think the owen sixteen lions team from of a while back us over ten years ago. They went and they went four. No in the preseason so that should give you a little more picture of how little these presently games actually mean in terms of correlation to throw the season. But they're still always stuff that you can take away that'll do it for my second segment of today's episode. I'll be right back after this word from our sponsors once again. "All that said. I'm with you. Rob i think impact. Yes it would affect chris. Paul's legacy probably all the stuff about him. Being the fifth best point guard ever and all that that move proudly cease. But he's still hall of famer and most of us rob. Let's face it chris. Thirty six before it is season. We felt like we is what he is. He's a great point guard. He's a hall of famer. He's never gonna win a championship. He's had his struggles in the play offs as some great moments and bad moments and so yeah it will be a negative mark but at the end of the day. Still getting in hall of fame ballot. But i rob. I said and i don't know if you agree with me but i said last week on undisputed i said paul george is probably going to be a hall of famer. I believe if he's in the process of strengthening his case right a performance lasts like last night this whole playoffs when he's he's had his ups and downs. There's no doubt but more twenty strike twenty points at eighteen straight games right on that history. How many three others. Kevin durant kobe. Bryant and michael jordan. That's pretty impressive. Company right there right. So so what i'm saying. I said this today rob on tv if they win this series. He's not probably hall of famer anymore. He's a hall of fame. And i feel that. I think he's a hall of fame if they win this series. Paul george that's how big this series is especially chris. What you're talking about is without kawhi right right. I mean that's the other part is fall's time the first time ever a team would come back from three straight series in which you download to and you did it in the last two without kawhi leonard. The numbers is shooting. Percentages are not that great. He's not that efficient but at the end of the day he's putting up numbers in their winning. You know and so that's big. I think it would be for. Paul george rob hourly just putting him with the rant lebron class but i don't think he would be hall of fame but this would be a this would be an and chris this would be a watershed moment. Note no doubt about it. And i really believe that they have a shot to win this because of other than paul chris paul. All those guys are young. You know how hard it is to close out kris last night. You're at home. Everybody in phoenix is ready to party. His nine thousand nine hundred ninety nine knows who watch no no no no. Why am i right to tell me. And they reports were that they were devastated in the locker room. Oh i found out zoo. Botulism he was giving them thirteen eleven and no he was playing for them right and that he wasn't gonna play and for them. The win at like you said in control. There wasn't a blowout but they were in control that game. They seem like they had a handle on it and they will poised to win it and they didn't. They didn't give him paul. George unbelievable third quarter. So yeah i think this is real. I think what paul george. What the clippers are doing chris. This might be the way you exercise all those demons that they've had because it's been a struggle the whole way through and you notice when they were down to older dallas after losing the first two games and being down big game three in dallas. People were talking about breaking the team up. It was a failure. You know. Paul george and kawhi leonard and now look where we are. I guess but you know it is still dominate with shooting the ball. Well or not shooting. The ball will I still try to dominate the whole game. In general to me doesn't come down to score. It's just being able to play a bow fast. Rebound may place for others. And so i'm beyond that. I'm beyond that i am. I wish i could shoot eighty percent seventy five percent on a nightly basis. But it's not realistic. But what i can do is is to everything else so it is what it is a judge me on what they want to that part. Don't matter to me. We'll go out there and everything brandon. Would you make a paul georgia's game and also about his comments after ins- really quickly on his comments Look we talked about this early in his show. I wish we had more time to dive deeper into it. But i disagree the reason why i disagree because i think this is the social media error. Where anything you say anything you you do can be turned into a mean just like that hell michael jordan has his own name and he embraced that so you know it comes with the territory but as far as his game sensational and as i was watching this i was i was thinking about. You know someone a great players. In that moment that they had that game that they had or that place they had at sending them to define their position in his in the history of their game in history of sports. Go back to two thousand and eight. You got larry fitzgerald larry fitzgerald. The cardinals were terrible. I think they were somewhere around. Seven and five at one point in a season and then they went on this Amazing run went to the playoffs and then they ended up in the super bowl but every single week we were talking about larry fitzgerald how he is now. He's now hall of famer he could potentially go down as one of the greatest receiver of all time if he continues to do this. That was his moment. Hell he doesn't even look for you. Look down on the bench or wanna look into scott box wherever leonard is but go back to two thousand and fourteen who why linter introduced himself to the world go back to that series that championship title. He was for everybody was asking. I know i was. Because i was a i was a casual consumer the of nba. But i was like. Who is this leonard guy. One of my friends. Michael rapaport and that the the comedian michael rapaport is like this. Do you need to pay attention to his next level and you saw what happened to his career after that and when you look at this moment this could be the moment. Hawaii litter goes down in this do when he's facing elimination. Have a forty point game. This do takes his team to a whole 'nother level now he needs to slay the sons he needs to escape the suns in this series and make it to the next into the championship. And then we're going to be looking back saying look. That was that moment. Do solidified his position in the history of basketball. So that's my take on under so much more work to be done. And i was also disappointed and see three while but we can talk about that tomorrow. Rain in. that's why you are charter. Member of the paul. George fan club and i'm accepting applications in the air coming in basque. Inferiors you're onboard charles. Zombie just sent me a picture of his paul george jersey for their ears. The first rule of the paul fan club. We gotta acknowledge the truth. Okay boogie cousins. Like i don't know where all this paul toward slanders coming from. It's like well. I'll tell you where it's coming from. Bogey most game twenty five percent or worse. Paul george is in the lead there. Also bob cousy in also officially in league. But we're not counting pre merger stuff from the nineteen fifties. Okay now nicholas. This is where i wanna have. You invited into the paul. George fan club. Twenty plus points in eighteen straight games. Paul george k. D. colby and m j. You know you're the shows historian and archivist. Nick would you to join the paul george fan club his name right next to some all time. Great can i sign you up for a t shirt with orient some mugs executive package. It's funny you ask that wild. Because i was discussing this exact thing with my friend. Denzel washington not the actor. Just my friend. Guy named anti-washington data washington. Exactly so. here's the ball george. last night. that was the best game of his life. It was elimination game in the conference finals. He's gives a playoff career. High desert super-efficient when efficiencies the one thing he hadn't been doing in these conference finals and i will give massive credit and the way he's answered the bell without i think is really admirable. I also think that the paul george criticism is unique in that wild jim it earlier. The other guys with a ton of critics have a bunch of fans typically to balance it out. Paul doesn't seem to have that if also though feels like russell westbrook gets criticized. Lebron katie criticized. Paul george gets made fun of. And i feel like that's the difference and this this type of performance and this type of playoff run can end that because anyone like all use myself as an example like i criticized lot doesn't bother me but like when you guys on the show pretend five six and it feels like you're making fun of me. That feels different. Like no wounded like it hated actually and so like haulers one thing for a guy. I'm wildfire the point is it's weird guy criticize him. It's another thing for him to be a mean that people are making fun of. I think paul is ending. The mean right now agree on this right now tomorrow..

"Back to starting all to forty six. Got a big interview for you today. That's not what you're getting right now. It's actually it's a little bit of a step down later. This is a huge plummet down. Yeah this is not know. We're trying to recoup the listenership elevator cable snapped rod crew on the show today dallas just to offer. Yeah that's actually a great. It's a great interview. I wanna i wanna pull the video from your face. When i showed your when i drop the stat about rod karoo punching out or walking eleven times more than he punched out over his. Like you go down. The list of rod karoo stats. And you're gonna you're gonna blow your mind. It's not just like he's not like one of those players were he has one mind-blowing stat. Career is fucked on. The guy was born on a goddamn trade for was born on a train. He was won a batting title without hanging homerun played eighteen straight. All star games. Sir is not you did marines marines fucking era. Unfortunately we have a white sox day on the podcast. This is a big big day. This is a big day for the brand Probably the biggest thing the white sox is ever done is life if you if you wanna go down. The entire list of accomplishments things of high profile nature i mean. Do we have to run it back to the to. What was it not black wednesday cyber mondays ago. Because we can do that and then we do. We do have. We do have to acknowledge. There is actual live footage of white sox. Dave against the toughest piece of gum display ever seen so. I don't care what anybody says. We gotta fight white sox here today because the barstool barn burner. I love me some alliteration i do. I love alliteration. The barstool barn burner Basically what we're doing here team grounds crew versus team red line radio and it's not just at any site. It's not just at any baseball field. Were doing this at the field of dreams like the actual field of dreams in dubuque iowa actually had to hire still dyers ville. Dyer's bill get your mid western fly over states and cities correct man. Wow i mean it was in. It was in the thing to buke. Dyers felt but semantics reading the prompter. That's the prompter said dubuque. It's close enough. It's wasn't a who gives you long dreams. that's what that's what matters. I was all the same thing it is. i was just. It's one big. I would doesn't really have cities it's just iowa when you go to. I don't say i'm in cedar rapids. You sam in iowa. So we're going to be doing this at the field of dreams calls not here today. But it'll be white sox. Dave carl managing the red line radio team. It'll be me dallas managing the grounds crew team. And i think what's cool about this. We announced this. I don't know less than an hour ago. Yup and i was kind of like we're putting anyone can apply to entered into the drafts. That's the idea immediately. After this goes out a number of barstool employees Wanted to be entered into the draft. So i thought i first thing we came up with this idea. I was like all right so we're going to get like a bunch of like harto like college players that you know. They're two years out of college and they obviously didn't get drafted and they're not playing independent ball like this is their last hurrah. We're gonna get a lot of that. And then you start getting some of these text messages coming in and i wanna i wanna like make this fun. I don't want this to be the harder our i don't fucking all. I played d. two three years ago. I don't want that. Were not here for puckett. Patty cake all right. I'm not here to watch seventeen. Absolutely horrendously unathletic bloggers come out and try to live out their fucking dream dot saying dallas aside around your fucking keyboard. Just keep doing that all right. Just keep doing that. Nobody wants to hang. Nobody wants to know near near dallas. Aside i gotta textile smitty snake are you fucking kidding. Me beat it. I mean this is what they're attracted to the fact that there's probably going to be a camera around there and there's going to be a video cut later. That's what they're attracted to this barstool. Barn burner is just like a fuck and light and these mosquitoes are out of here. I don't know. I i don't i'm fine with a little bit. It for example. For example. Steve buckley puts on a baseball game every summer and he picks a different charity every year and he donates the money to a different charity every year and every year. It's like all right Pedro martinez starting this year. Roger clemens is starting this year and they'll show up and you'll have pretty good competition but then you also have the father son combo like a mix i mean there's it's it's about who's going to put out the best video. That's that's how this works so for the folks who remember you in assessment is getting getting signed right coming over You remember the youtube videos. You remember him leg pressing every forty five pound plate. They had in his neighborhood on top of his to fucking strength coaches or whoever was with them. Yeah you jump onto and he's just leg pressing. Everybody that's walking into the building videos of that him hitting balls where the baseball just disappears like you hear gunshot and then the ball goes away stuff like that. That's what we're looking. We're looking for your skills and your talent level. What are you going to be bringing to the table. We want to see that on full display. There's an opportunity for a father son double-play tandem. Hey show yourself show yourself. That's what i'm here for. Yeah i want. I want kids. That are going to be active. We're going to get plenty of them to that are ninety upper eighties. Maybe touching ninety kids. Ed can bomb. I really think we're going to. There's a lot of junior colleges. Nah area that sent kids to d one schools and get drafted every year. And i think we're gonna see a lot of those kids if like i. I'm on more dallas. Aside like i wanted to be like you. There has to be an entertainment factor. Obviously but I want a competitive fucking baseball game. And i don't know if we're gonna get that is fucking big tease at first base surveys. Yeah exactly exactly like. Is that what we're looking to do. That happens how many accepting that's where it turns into a sideshow. we care demand rosters on both sides. You can probably get fucking coli mic out there. At shortstop for niche. Now we got. We got two teams. That were rolling out there. Two teams and we haven't narrowed down the amount of players on the team would say probably no more than twelve on each.

"I'm sure there's going to be a lot of overreacting but, you know, I think it's kind of warranted. I mean, that's embarrassing, do it? Anything is the Bruins had a legit number one defenseman, who was their captain that the Leafs game, greatest, Morgan, Riley is points-wise. I wouldn't consider him a perennial number one defenseman in this league. I just I wouldn't and I just find it hilarious like this morning. I opened Twitter dead. And J fresh on Twitter tweets. So... Mitch Marner for Seth Jones and it's just and that will help. That'll be the most Maple Leaf shit in the world. Yes, that'd be another young person. Taylor Hall, type type deal. I just, I can't get over. I think it's hilarious. I think it's funny. It's embarrassing. It is perfectly Toronto and you and you expected it. Like, he just couldn't believe that. It's like, no, it's the leaves. You, you can go, right? You can believe that's par for the course. So another year, another another first-round exit for the Leafs. There's so much to dissect from it off and it's I feel so bad for the front line workers in Toronto. You know they do their first game, they get to their vaccinated. They're so excited to go see their Leafs play in person. It's like damn, you know, all this work. I get to go watch the Leafs game 7. Well, maybe for them. It's like the the the first reminder that life is getting back to normal and that you know the the like leads are once again, choked noise first round exit so it's your ceiling off. Course so yeah, that's the Leafs that's our leaves minute. They still suck and they'll probably be back in the division next year. I'll be back with the Bruins, the lightning. So have fun with more first-round exits guys cuz there's no way out of that one. I wonder if they do blow it up, though. I do wonder if you know they make some big move to kind of send a message, cuz I mean what do you do? After you picked a tough year, like I'm completely changed his right because you've got a flat cap, you've also, I mean, never doubt a dumbass team that's kind of like take Monitor and like over pay for them when she hasn't shown up and hasn't scored a goal. What is it? Eighteen sixteen to eighteen, eighteen straight, playoff games, a lot of goal? Which, I mean, maybe some what? What seems like the the wage? I don't like a dogshit franchise, like the coyotes where it's like, well, he's going to score a bunch of points. The regular season, get tickets for us. So we don't, we could give less of a shit but still it's even if you found a team that would take a guy like that. Yep. Just been done in terms of moving the pieces. Now with the flat cap, you know, we start last year where we thought, there's going to be a lot more movement and the guys were signing, one year deals or you had a nice. It's like, you know, do Clan these guys signing contracts, like right ahead of Camp. So not really the best year too. Clearly change gears with your cord that you've expected to probably be making multiple to The Cup Final by this point. But it's yeah, it's embarrassing. I mean, you ever think they hit a new low, but I think that one's right up there cuz you as much as I think, Bruins fans hop on 29th and how they'll never have a better easier road to get to a cup..

Know the earthquake that because there's a lot of right. yeah yeah. They think article in her article. That talks about what the car doesn't have if you wanna chop up electric car for parts. What are you going to get a job. you're going to get the battery. That's that's the big. That's the big ticket item and it is hard to get a battery out of those cars and is very heavy though. It's always a matter of difficulty when you're talking about security before we wrap this up Let's let's go around the horn. Who do you think. I almost don't want to ask it. As who do you think should get an electric vehicle. Because i feel like you're just gonna say everybody. Is there anybody who should not get an electric vehicle. Or it's not right. A rod will start with you. So i think if you're if you're a seriously heavy driver and i'm talking someone who's probably doing like you know three four hundred miles every two or three days or actually. I would probably say three or four miles a day in driving. It may not be because you're not gonna wanna make the extra stops until we can get range like around five hundred mile batteries. I think but for the ninety percent use case which most people. I think an electric car. Even if it's not your your primary driver as he was recommending it as your secondary car that i drive to work or to the store. They're just it's it's so much easier so much more cost efficient for you to have them. I think most people can't really come up with a valid use case not to have it or if you're telling if you're a person who's like i'm telling a boat every time i go to the lake. It's probably not for you. But outside of that i there's very it's edge cases that you're dealing with allison. I would add to that kind of answer if you're kind of person who likes to drive without stopping you. One of those people yeah. I drove eighteen straight hours. I stopped for three and a half minutes to pee. If you are that person do not buy an electric vehicle because that is not your life. I argue with my friends. Stephen gets and candidate about this because he keeps timing how long it takes him to put gas in the car. Get the kids in and out of the bathroom. His kid and you know stephen. I mean we're perfectly happy to go into the test. A super charger. There's a really nice one on the way to fresno where we stop and we have a mocha. You know we play on the internet for little while. Would maybe we watch some mash on the. We can watch netflix on the big screen in the car. We have a little sandwich. We're perfectly happy doing that. But if you're that other person you would actually hate this bodey. I'm going to echo. What rodney allison said with a little.

america ninety percent Stephen netflix rodney allison honda court three days stephen three and a half minutes three eighteen straight allison around five hundred mile fresno four hundred miles four miles a day echo One of those secondary car every two

"Are we really coming up to the all star game already. Really? Yeah. That's coming up this weekend in Charlotte. They've got most of the teams played last night. That'll be their last game before the break. There's a couple of more games tonight. Good ones, though, blazers lit up the warriors won twenty nine one seven thanks to a fourth quarter rampage. That's all Portland outscore the champs thirty five to twelve Damian Lillard scored twenty nine he and seven other blazers reached double figures compared to just two for the dub, Steph curry and Kevin Durant. Each had thirty two wasn't quite enough Portland. Also added veteran Senator NS cater their roster. He was waived last week by the Knicks Kanter also been quartered by the Lakers. He actually signed an offer sheet with Portland four years ago, but never played for them because the thunder matched it and then bond up trading him to New York as part of the Carmelo Anthony deal back in two thousand seventeen. Okay. Mr history. That's it for that. He's averaged fourteen points and ten and a half rebounds for the Knicks this year that rebound total is tenth in the league. So you'd see why the Knicks would want to get rid of him because you know, otherwise, they wouldn't be able to run off a long losing streak. Like they have more about them in a second nuggets nip the kings one twenty to one eighteen Nikola Yokich tipped in the winter in the final second of that game. Paul Millsap had twenty five points and Isaiah Thomas made his season debut for the nuggets play thirteen minutes. Head. A couple of three pointers and wound up with eight points. It'll help them a lot down the down the stretch toward the playoffs. Deborah will stop the rockets. One twenty one to one eleven despite forty two from the beer James harden, running his thirty point game thirty point winning streak scoring streak rather to thirty one games. Now that ties him with Wilt Chamberlain for second. Longest all time Chamberlain also has the longest one at sixty five games in a row bucks past the Pacers one zero six ninety seven Milwaukee we'll go into the break with the best record in the league right behind them. The rap doors they with the wizards won twenty nine to one twenty Celtics left the pistons one eighteen to one ten in that one Brooklyn over Cleveland, one forty eight one thirty nine that one went triple overtime. If you believe that that was a while the seventy Sixers beat the Knicks one twenty six to one eleven that's eighteen straight losses for New York. Joel twenty six points, fourteen rebounds and one twenty five thousand dollar fine from the league for criticizing the referees. Like, he's the only one who does that bulls rushed the grizzlies one twenty to one ten heat too much of the Mavericks won. Twelve to one to one in this clipper sail past the sons one thirty four to one zero seven the clippers now move into eighth place in the west the top eight teams make the playoffs. This year all star game Sunday in Charlotte. It'll be the LeBron James's against the Janas Edoardo Combo's providence column by the first names.
