"Us on social media. Rob rob parker f s one or both twitter and instagram. I am matt. Chris broussard on twitter chris. Broussard sixty eight on the graham at rob philadelphia's up fifty eight forty eight three minutes left in the second quarter and the network. You land well. Yeah i'm a little behind. Remember i got what is what is the early in the third quarter fifty six hundred me but i mean you gotta scored at fifty eight forty eight. I got no never see six. Forty eight fifty four here. Fifty eight hiree with the nice move and finish inside so yeah fifty six fifty but rob. I'm gonna. I'm gonna i misspoke. You asked me early in the show in our first segment. If the nets win tonight would you know. Would it be a big deal look. It's not a big deal in that old. You know philadelphia. Isn't that good in the nets on them but it would be significant route. Because philly's got its whole team. Well that's why i was asking. You like like just mean the nets are just hanging around right then. I don't expect them to win. But they're hanging around. They could easily be blown out already. You know what i mean. I know chirons always there so you you know you have a presence there but this could have been ugly now. Don't have your guys your whole squad and instead it's fifty fifty you know almost the end of the first half if they go onto the half down by six or four. I think that's not bad. I mean you know. It's good and if they win again it doesn't mean they're going to have an easy time with it will be. It will be you to take something out of it because again. It's not like when the nets lost to the lakers when that's didn't have harden and kyrie got kicked out right midway through the low lakers guys either so it was just you know it was just a crazy game but in this one philadelphia has its guys. They got their full complement of players. We know day you know. Ben simmons was talking a little junk. You know saying that. There's only one ball and they gotta play defense and so i you know. I think this was a big game. And if the nets can somehow beat them the you just gotta say okay. What will they do to them when they got harden durant. Because here's the thing as you see. The andre jordan is guarding joel. Embiid embiid got fourteen points but he's five of twelve from the flu. I was gonna say he's made..

Global Shortage in Computer Chips 'Reaches Crisis Point'

"A shortage in computer chips has reached a crisis point. this is mark sweeney. The guardian consumers are facing price rises and shortages of products from. Tv's and mobile phones to cars and game consoles as a global shortage in. Semiconductors grows the shortage and ships the brain within every electronic device in the world has been steadily worsening since the last year. Initially the problem was only a temporary delay and so as factories shut down when the coronavirus pandemic i hit however although production is back to normal a new surge in demand driven by changing habits fueled by the pandemic means that. It's not means that it's now reaching a crisis. Point car manufacturers investing in tech heavy electric vehicles the boom in sales of tv's and home computers and the launch of new games consoles and five g enabled mobile phones have have all driven demand even the mighty apple a two trillion dollar company in the world's biggest buyer of semiconductors spending fifty eight fifty eight billion dollars annually and was forced to delay the launch of the much hyped iphone twelve by two months last year due to the shortage last month sony which along with other lawmakers struggled with stock shortages over the last year said it might not hit sales targets for the new. Kevin Jones shares how he expanded his sports podcasts network

"Hey kevin thanks for joining us. Simon man pleasure to be here appreciate you having me so before we talk about your podcast at work. Let's talk about what you were doing. Prior to your podcast network you like you got your start in radio right. What didn't you like about that medium. Yeah i kind of had a long winding journey before and got to blue wire tv in washington. Dc at wsh nine Where i actually like a digital blogger. It was bryce harper's rookie year. Rt threes rookie ear there space on the website to create content kind of l. Put my way into media at a tv station. That i turned that opportunity into the cleveland. Crowds dot com. They were growing their media operation. They had Space on espn eight fifty. They had their own radio show in studio in the building. The i broke into radio there. I was on the team side for the browns. You kind of don't have your own voice in. They were losing quite a bit of game so eventually took an opportunity. Came biard in san francisco. The main am station. It was a wonderful experience for the most part. I saw kaepernick kneeling i the warriors when titles. I got to go on the radio every day. I created digital content. But i didn't see a path forward for someone like myself who was twenty seventeen. I was twenty eight years old. I wasn't going to become a radio host. I wasn't gonna be on tv. And i didn't see enough opportunities and saw a lot of really good free agents on twitter and that's kind of how i stumbled upon blue ir but Yeah my background is really creating content for older digital media platforms. And were you like talking head on the radio. Where you're like a court correspondent like bose kind of your role way more correspondent. I came here in san francisco. Be at the warriors games calling in kevin. Jones live from game six of the western conference vitals. Kevin give us the mood. It would be five ten minute had sometimes team not just the update guy so i got to show up my personality. I wrote digital content. I was tweeting all the time And just treating you making better content. For came we are the most of the radio host For my age group which was articles about the warriors tweets about the forty niners. I was giving kmby. Are that brand name digitally. I wasn't getting rewarded for it and that really pushed me to found blue wire. 'cause i thought i was actually giving more wrong to the radio station online and wasn't getting paid properly short. Did you feel like you had a brand like where people obviously wouldn't recognize you on the street Because they only heard your voice today. Would you be like a bar like. Oh i totally know who you are times. Nothing crazy but you know. That's really what they found. Blue stems from dairy. Is that person in san francisco. He had a warriors podcast. I would getting drinks with him. If people were literally coming up to him and dabbling in sam. I love light years. Love what you do on twitter. It was up one of my a ha moments before i came into company. Is that twitter. Influencers in sports are so undervalued beat reporters for newspaper are kind of going out of style. In my opinion it's a it's a necessary way to get facts and information but Radio hosts are being replaced. In my opinion my twitter influencers youtube post snapchat users who have built communities of people. Yeah i think it's fair to say i have by own brandon. We have one hundred podcasters. I know we're going to get to blue i They have their own brands. And i think that's what makes us different. What's the world's going that way man. It's niche you can be this fantasy football funny guy you can be nerdy a little on the browns. Anyone can pick their lane right now. And then from the radio you went to go work at facebook on like content strategy. What kind of content where you strategizing on. Yeah it was on. The business helped team work out of building. Sixty one in menlo park so anytime. There was a new product launch across functional team facebook. There's a product manager. There's a marketing manager. There's someone who also writes help contact when a user gets the pay what is and that was kind of my role. It was definitely a lower tier. Get your foot in the door at facebook. But i learned a lot about scaling and how the task and project management and just it was a even though. They're not in the news in a good way. The culture they're working there was pretty good. People respectful a challenge each other in a polite way. I was coming from media where people throwing dictionaries at each other in the room. People were getting fired left and right backstabbing each other. Facebook actually gave me a little bit of hope as weird as it is saying this big evil giant stealing all the ad revenue move fast and break things but working inside. That building collaborated with people. Who admired and it kind of gave me the wings that eight. I can take some elements of facebook. Mix it into a sports media company

Another Mysterious Monolith Suddenly Appears — This Time In Romania

"Just thought it was safe. Remember talking about that Noblest about monolith That was in You know the hinterlands utah well and it suddenly disappeared. Well another one has suddenly appeared. This time in romania just in case you're keeping track of the ever revolving monolith as it seems to be making. Its way around the world. Is that the same one. Eight fifty now thirteen ten. Kfi thirteen ten kfi. Gay dot com northern colorado's voice mornings with gail via the collision specialist studios. Yep less than two weeks after authority stumbled literally across that mysterious metal object standing freely in the utah desert kind of looked like a giant and just days after disappeared while a similar monolith has been reported nearly halfway around the world. Oh those aliens pissy. Aren't they where in. The world is the monolith residents in the romanian city and for you of romanian descent. I apologize if i mangle. The city's name but residents in the romanian city of piatra nipped said they have found another odd item. That could have been ripped from the set of two thousand one. A space odyssey local newspaper reported by npr reports that the monolith like the one discovered in. I believe it was southeastern. Utah is about ten to twelve feet. Tall apparently composed entirely of a dimly reflective metal. It was reportedly found that standing on a plateau near archaeological site overlooking the city journal. Fm local radio station there recorded video the purported revealing an eye aching sheen and looped markings among its are along at surface. Now apparently not the same one so here enter. Andrei cal cal. Bolivia mayor of piatra neom. Well he appears to be taking the news in stride saying there's no reason to panic for those who think there is still life in the universe this according to a translation of a facebook post that he posted after the discovery surfaced on friday according to this translation by the independent he went on to say my guess is is that some alien cheeky and terrible. Teenagers left home with their parents. Ufo and started planting metal monoliths around the world. i and utah and then at piatra nipped. I am honored that they chose our city now. The monolith in utah disappeared less than a ten days. After officers from the state's department of public safety for spotted authorities profess their utter confusion at its presence. In utah's country. They were no less confused by its sudden disappearance overnight on friday poof just like that and adventure. Photographer said that. He spotted for men dismantling of so. It wasn't alien. Maybe they were masquerading as human spot photographer. Saying he's spotted for men dismantling the structure this according to the new york times and all that was left of the structure on saturday morning. And you can fire up google earth and see. This was a triangular metal piece that used to be on top and a whole where the base of the tower stood this according to the salt lake. Tribune hey it gives us something other to talk about then the craziness going on. Well i suppose it would fall into that category but all of the bad craziness going on throughout twenty twenty now. The bureau of land management. Utah denied moving the structure. Well and as for that. Those so mysterious monolith in romania kabylia's said he had no answers himself but that he wouldn't be all that upset. If the found mystery happened to attract tourists to city adding beyond the conspiracy theories. That can be tempting. I'd like to see this randomness as further proof that our city is special for the earthlings. And maybe not only for them as the monolith mystery deepens

Looking for a phone for the holidays? Here are your best bets

"You're looking for a smartphone for yourself or a loved one this holiday. The choices can get overwhelming. Fortunately we've got some answers. Roger chang and this is your daily charge with me phone expert than law created holiday gift guide funds. Welcome lynn hierachy. I'm happy to be here. So you've a rundown of the best smartphone options out there but before we get into specific suggestions. Any general advice on what we should think about when we're syrian new phone. Yeah every time you know before you buy. New phone is important to think about how you use your last phone. Did you play a lot of games and watch videos if so you probably want a phone with a big screen and a battery a big battery and or did you take a lot of photos and capture a lot of videos than you probably want something with a great camera so you really want to think about how you use your phone and make sure that the phone works for you and your needs instead of just getting the latest greatest. You don't wanna pay for features you don't need features that you may or may not need i talk about five g a lot on this show But senior the expert. I wanted to get your read on this law. Is it something you really need. When considering which funded by there is a premium for five devices. So is it really worth. It is rolling out in more areas throughout this year. But i know like some carriers. I believe t mobile. They offer five g coverage under its unlimited plan anyway. So it's understandable if you're eyeing a five g device and that's your next phone in that situation but i'm not a hundred percent convinced a five g iphone is something you absolutely need this year especially when so many people are working from home anyway and especially if you don't have good five three coverage in your area so you should definitely check that before you make a decision and you know coverage maps from carriers. They don't really tell the whole story so you you wanna make sure you do a lot of research and phones. Five g. phones are getting cheaper and cheaper. So i may hold out just a bit longer gutted. It feels like the most part people are committed to the platforms. They've chosen if you're an iphone user. You're likely buying a new iphone. Twelve financial user. You have more choices. But a- likely to stick with another android phone other instances where you would consider switching. Generally that is true It people do tend to kind of stick with the same ecosystems. But i think it's easier to switch platforms easier more now than now more than ever especially compared to years past I think about some certain situations that would motivate motivate someone switch and i think peripheral accessories are especially good reason of the airpods pro. They do work with android phones to an extent but their functionality and their features work so much better with an iphone and you basically kind of even iphone to use an apple watch for its to its full potential so i could see android user. Who is really attracted to those accessories switch for that. I think for an iphone to android people do want the customization. I know iowa's fourteen gives you more and options but it just doesn't compare to what you can play around with on an android phone. It's a lot more fun if you have the time for it. So let's get into it. Let's talk about specific phones. What are some of your top picks for this holiday season again. It really depends on who you are and what your needs are but for an iphone. I do like the iphone mini because of its size. I have small hands. So it's very attracted to me and like the iphone se because it's a because of its low price and for android phones. The galaxy s twenty f e is really affordable. Pick for the galaxy line. And i liked the oneplus eight because it's premium but it's competitively priced so let's dig into some of those phones the the galaxy s twenty f e which. I know we made fun of alive for the name. Initially fan edition actually ended up being pretty decent About what you get with it and why you know. That's that's a pretty decent deal. Among other phones out there. Well one is that it has five g and it has a great performance. And the although you know. The camera isn't as good as the s. twenty. Ultra the note. Twenty ultra It's a good price. I think it starts about seven hundred dollars and it's so much cheaper than some of the premium galaxy phones out there so it's something if you want that galaxy samsung the samsung galaxy experience. But you don't want to spend way too much. I think that is a good alternative. Also you can look into samsung's galaxy a series lineup phones. Like the eighth fifty one i think is one of the more recent ones those also kind of offer that that software experience a galaxy experience without a premium of a high price so beyond some of these head like his. You know you talked about samsung. Which is a well-known Are there any other handsome. Makers that are a bit more under the radar that offer phones. Maybe deserve a second. Look yeah. I don't. I don't have any official releases or deals specifically that i can say i always think. Motorola is such a great company for mid range affordable phones and throughout the holiday season. There moto phones do get a discounted and there are some carrier promotions to it. I would say keep an eye on those things especially if you don't want to spend a thousand dollars on a phone if you're looking for something it starts like two hundred dollars. An up. motorola makes a really solid aggressively priced phones. That if you don't really need all the premium features so if you just kind of use your phone to make calls the moti. Seven power is a good mid range phone with a big battery so you don't have to charge it and that would be a great pick for someone who's a little bit more straightforward with their needs at. Don't need a lot or grammy. It's black friday today. So i'm sure there are plenty of deals to go around beyond the motorola brand new. You mentioned one plus and that's another company. That is a little bit under the radar. It's not a household name tug a little bit about that in some of the options there. Yeah we're plus is definitely. They started out as an android enthusiasts brand. They've branched out in there a little bit more popular. Now you're right. They're not as popular will known as google and samsung. Their current flagship line is the eight. It's oneplus eight pro. Act it's a lot of phones year. They released like four And so that's kind of their higher end line. They just released their oneplus. Nord en ten. Five g That will be available in north america at a later date and that has five g And it's about. I think it's going to be about four hundred dollars. Give or take so that is something that you know. They've consistently released premium phones with great hardware at affordable pricing used to be more affordable from years past. Not so much anymore but it still. You know hundreds of dollars cheaper than samsung galaxy funds beyond one plus and samsung another company that surprisingly flies under the radar is google right. It's it's a big name company but the pixel phones. Have not exactly been blockbuster devices. I believe one of the pixel phone is on your list. You talk about which phone that google makes people should be looking at. Yeah so. I think you're talking about pick so four eight five g. I've consistently recommended that phone since its release i like it. Because it is more affordable than the five the pixel five which is its main flagship. But you get a lot of the same features it still has. It has the same camera as a five. So it has great. Low like Low light photos and it has a soffer support from google. And it's also has five g which is what differentiates it from the pig soul for a that was Also released so that would be all the pixel phones that were released this year. I do like the four eighty five g the most just because it's cheaper than the five but has many of the same features so most of those flagship phones we're talking about the pixel five twelve. They're they're eight hundred dollars closer to one thousand dollars. If you're looking to spend that much like you. Does anyone actually need to spend a thousand dollars on a new phone. I mean you can definitely spend that much if you want you know phones. That cost that much are usually faster. They have longer less batteries and have great cameras. But i feel like this year compared to last compared to yours past. We've seen so many great phones that are priced below thousand dollars. You could find something great for four hundred dollars to six hundred dollars. I do think. Fund companies were reactive to the spending behavior of twenty twenty and how people for being a little bit more cost conscious and they and they Reacted to that. With a appropriately priced phones. That have been way more aggressive but still have premium teachers. And what if you're shopping for kids or parents amid this may be the same line of conversation. But you know for for folks who don't necessarily need all those layers in bells and whistles of. Are there any other phones that you suggest for them. That may be even a step down from some of the ones you talked about earlier definitely as it again. A motorola makes a lot of inexpensive phone so i would look towards their e line of funds the moto e six i believe is you know starts at one hundred dollars and that's something that you can get unlocked By the way if you are giving phone as a gift. I do recommend buying an unlocked. Phone it's probably the quickest and easiest way to go about it since you just have to swap existing some card and you're ready to go so that would kind of with that line of phones. The moti line would definitely be something. I would look out for this. Holiday season is a phone. Even a gift anymore is that is that too personal of a device for you to go out and actually get for someone. I sure why not. I totally don't disagree with receiving a phone as a gift. I think it's perfectly as long as you go about it the right way. Make sure that's what they're it matches the needs that they want and And you look very closely at all the fine print in terms of carrier contracts and stuff like that. I think it would be a great gift.

Verizon's CTO Discusses Their Nationwide 5G Deployment

"Of rising chief technology officer Kyle Milady on in the first of a three part interview to discuss the state of five G.. So just to kick things off what is the state of Verizon's five day deployment Oh man good question we have a real a lot going on at the moment you know we started this journey you know years ago frankly actually coming up with their own five G. SPEC. So we could bring that five G. SPEC along with submillimeter wave spectrum that we purchased and all the idea of trying to really leapfrog the current generation. Of Technology Knob, it's been a few years We're really happy with the progress we launched our first commercial five G. on last last April, and send them a the two two major things we've been doing one is optimizing technology. For use in the the wider network and deploying more and more notes and so on both on both fronts, we've been really making a lot of a lot of good progress on the technology side. Don't WanNA. Get Too Geeky. But you know we started off with our deployments at something called foresee on what that is for chunks of Trim Gang together, and with that we're able to. Get close to or over sometimes two gigabits a second on in on a cell phone But we've been working on something called HCC, which actually gangs up eight chunks of spectrum together, and we're going to be able to get over four gigabits a second. We've been doing the labs and in some of our field trial. So we continue to work on the technology on the. Dial link, we're working on an our technology on the uplink. So you can get much faster speeds coming from the device up to the network, and so that's coming along well, and then finally we've really ramped up our deployment in terms of small cell deployment throughout the country were we're GONNA put five to six times more nodes on we did last year and you know, right Now we're on target. We're doing really well in terms of getting the the equipment out there. Yeah I know you just hit San Jose recently hitting your thirsty market. I know you have a target for sixty markets with five G. by the years that's still an achievable target something yourself shooting for absolutely absolutely continue the momentum we've we have those markets that we launched in. The Bay area, we didn't conjunction with our MECH. Announcement but we have a whole bunch of other studies that were working really hard and right now, and you'll start seeing those rollout the towards the. Towards the second half year and you know we're we're right on track and we're really excited to start building momentum and launching new markets and allow people to really experience great you the great the servicing capabilities of ban has offer. Time Baltra white band because that's also known as millimeter way spectrum. It is it's got a rep for being extremely fast talking about one to get to speed up the rage limited and it it's. Often compared to. A hot spot on steroids right and so. T mobile likes to the bash guys know your customers only connect to five g. a fraction of the time. What do you say that it's especially at you as you're broadening your deployment and your positioning this consumers is something that they wanna have How do you reconcile that the fact that like the range continues to be pretty limited for this that service great can get it, but it is hard to get. Yes. Oh, the here's a say that we started like I said, we started the journey years ago. And the hardest thing to do is five G. With millimeter wave. But that's also where the greatest prizes that is where you can really fundamentally changed the way wireless works and it was wasn't lost on us that the Rangers certainly limited compared to a seven hundred. Network eight fifty network in the in the low band, a spectrum that we had before. It'll be honest years ago we weren't even sure you could use millimeter wave in a wireless commercial network. We've proven that to be the case. Now it's a matter of we gotta keep building out and we gotta keep getting the nodes out there, but the technology is working as as we'd expect. So there hasn't been any surprises in terms of how much coverage now, it's the to to get it out there get more deeply deployed and also what you'll start seeing from us. In the rest of the year here, we're going to be putting out what we call five G. Nationwide. which uses technology called DSS, which allows us five G. and four G. to share a low ban spectrum.

Forever Free: Edmonia Lewis

"Hey Joel Lauren Hey so. You know what I feel like I have been I have I have not done our podcast. Justice. And the reason being is because you know every. So often we do an episode on historical person. And it seems that you do a lot of episodes about like strong influential women. And I do episodes on. Deeply White Dude's. Deeply disturbed man and I was like you know what? I'm going to remedy this today. I'm going to do it right and I had I had known very little about this person until I started doing my research, the more I learned about her the more I was. Like. Impressed about her. Just. Her talents and her very interesting life and everything. So today. I'm going to be doing an episode on Ed Monia Lewis. Yes I don't know who that is. So at Monia Lewis was the first professional and internationally known African American sculptor. Wa Yes so Her work was like well known all over the world during this time period but we'll get into it so. she was she is believed to have been born on July fourth eighteen, forty four that she didn't. She didn't know her her birthdate. Lot of people didn't warn free in Greenbush New York, which is now the city of Rent Rensselaer and her father was Afro Haitian while her mother her her name was Catherine Mike Lewis was of Mississauga, Gibb Way and African American descent. So she was both African American Haitian and native American Great. her mother was known as an excellent weaver in crafts woman while her father was a gentleman servant and her family background inspired Lewis in her later work. So, by the time she reached the age of nine. Both of her parents had died to maternal aunts adopted her and her older half brother whose name was Samuel. He was born in eighteen thirty five to lose his father and his first wife in Haiti and the family came to the United. States, when Samuel was a young child Samuel eventually became a barber at age twelve after his father died because he needed to start making money for the family and so he became a barber I know isn't as seventh grader giving you a haircut that's a nightmare but apparently. We're pulling your teeth both. Apparently. He was very good because eventually he moved out West in became an entrepreneur in a landowner and was very successful. but at the time, the children lived with their aunts near Niagara Falls for about four years and Louis in her aunt sold Agip way baskets and other items such as moccasins, embroidered blouses, tourists, visiting. Niagara. Falls, TORONTO, and Buffalo. So Little Gail. during this time Lewis went by her native American name, which was wildfire while her brother was called sunshine or sunrise, which is like these are just cool. ASS names. Great names may great names man. So in eighteen fifty, two Samuel F. for San Francisco leaving Lewis in the care of captain s mills, and Samuel provided for her board and education. Captain are mills was a an abolitionist. He was a well known abolitionists at the time. So in eighteen, fifty, six, she enrolled at New York, Central College McGraw Hill which was a baptist. School at McGraw Hill. Louis. Met many of the leading activists who would become mentors, patrons and possible subjects for her work as her artistic career developed. So during her summer term there in eighteen fifty-eight, she took classes in the primary department in preparation for college, and she was enrolled in primary courses in order to help advance her reading and writing skills along with other subjects of academia that we're not quite advanced enough for the academic department. So. In a later interview, she said that she left the school after three years having been quote declared to be wild. Oh Wow. Yeah. She said until I was twelve years old I led this wandering fishing and swimming and making moccasins I was then sent to school for three years in McGraw Hill was declared to be wild they could do nothing with me Oh Yeah. So they seem to have expected a lot from. A kid who had been grown up just like doing whatever she could to survive. So. Eight fifty nine when she was about fifteen years old her brother Samuel and abolitionists sent her to win Ohio where she attended the secondary Oberlin Academy Preparatory School for the full three year course before she entered Oberlin College, which was one of the first US higher learning institutions to admit women and people of Color. At the time, she changed her to Mary Monia Lewis and began to study art. So from here on out, she's known as Ed Monia Lewis. She boarded with Reverend John. Keep his wife from nine until she was forced from the college in eighteen sixty three. So I'll tell you about that in a second. But at Oberlin with a student population of one thousand Lewis was one of only thirty students of color. Yeah, Reverend keep was white a member of the board of trustees and avid evolutionist and a spokesperson for Co Education so throughout her life, she was kind of moved from from patron to patient as a young child mostly with abolitionist family Scott.

Dual-screen Surface Duo marks Microsoft's return to smartphones

"The other exciting future is foldable Microsoft's screen android device. The surface duo is available for preorder now for one. Hundred Ninety nine dollars, ask. Arriving September tenth. Being being excited about this product, the surface duo has to eighteen hundred, thirteen, fifty, five, point, six, inch, sixty, hertz led screens. Now when you unfolded those screens connect to form an eight point, one inch workspace, but it's not a single screen like with the Samsung Galaxy full because there's still the hinge in the middle and Microsoft's like we're not trying to be that. We're not trying to to have a foldable screen. We're just trying to make a bigger workspace displays are both gorilla glass as a result because they don't have to bend and they work as side-by-side Ma monitors essentially, it's four point eight millimeters thick another big. That's when it's open. Of course, it folds up it's nine point nine millimeters even then it's not too bad. Also the whitest ever android phone. As. Ours Technica pointed out ninety three millimeters wide that is bigger than even the biggest galaxy note that ever existed. It uses one eleven megapixel camera that can record four K. video at up to sixty frames per second runs on a snapdragon eight, fifty, five last generation processor, not eight, sixty five. Six Gigs of Ram. One hundred twenty eight or two, hundred, fifty, six gigs of storage has lt e not five g. but maybe don't. And two batteries one under each screen that combined for three thousand, five, hundred, seventy, seven Nila amp hours. So the specs aren't. Notch they're they're okay but they're not top notch also fingerprint reader sport for surface pen. All ANDROID APPS can run on it. And there are surface. Made. APPS AN API out. For developers to make more of them, that take advantage of the dual display and could like put the keyboard and one side or no taking on one side. And Get. Use Out of that form factor. But as I mentioned, it's a thousand, three, hundred, ninety, nine dollars, and while that's not as expensive as the Samsung Galaxy fold it ain't cheap. Yeah. It feels like a test. To me because at that price and at these specs, you're gonNA find out real quick who your buyers are and. And will extend past the people who just have to have the coolest gadget where a total android heads and have to have every model ever made or love Microsoft stuff or whatever does it extend much past that the two most exciting products I've ever seen out of Microsoft is honestly this I think is really cool. But the specter too low, and there's not a great argument for use case for me

"You on eight fifty W. F T L, and hopefully will be just cruising along the remainder of this program, and I am really overjoyed to see that. There's a handful of people out there right now who are reconsidering the way they speak to one another. Because if you wanna know what's really wrong in America today. It's not the president is not even any individual member of our elected representatives know, it is an atmosphere. Fueled by the politicization of every single aspect of our lives. You know what I did? I didn't do anything, you know what I did decide on, I guess it was Friday afternoon. When I went home, I took another use the time that I had prior to have to go. I was going somewhere at four thirty but I had like an hour, and I thought, let me listen to this interview with attorney general Bill. I was very impressed by portions of the interview that I had heard the sound from but I had not listened to the entire interview. So I sat down and watched this entire interview, and I have to tell you, there is something about this man. That is really impactful to this, this time in our history. First and foremost, he is one of the most even keeled deliveries that I have ever heard it takes, you know, it takes a man of tremendous ability, intelligence and confidence to be asked. The question which is deliberately designed to set up. Just kind of just blow right by the setup..

Just perfect perfect perfect day. And I'm seeing all this news that. A lot of my family living up north. They're gonna get smacked with some snow this weekend. But not just that. I made a shortcut, and I saw cookies and all sorts of stuff because there a part of here today or what I don't know actually came in late because I had my dental cleaning today. So when I came in that was there, I don't know what happened in the morning. Okay. Do they have to put you at the knock you off your cleaning? No. It was a painful experience, and I did not enjoy it. But they basically gave me an option there are three options and two of them involve needles. So I took the one without the needles. So you do the cleaning without any sort of. Well, you're supposed to be able to be able to do the cleaning without anything. Right. Well, they what they said is they can either give me deep injections, which would know me completely. I won't feel a thing. They can give me small injections around the gum, which you you won't feel much. But that also involved a needle or they can just take a topical ointments. And rub it on your gums. And that will mean that you'll feel like half of it right now. What you did? Yeah. Because I'm not kosher ledges clues your eyes, and you won't even know the needles comments. Not that's not the point though. It's it's just they can affect you other because I'm going to do a little topical number. Numbing gel here. And they're going to give you the needle. You wanna known any different possibly true? But I mean the way you would think he almost died would almost die from sort of. God knows what. He almost died from a manicure. Wait what a manicure? America. Your force is when undergo emergency surgery. Did you guys ever get a manicure? I mean, I don't think I have I don't remember ever doing it. But I feel like it's something I would have done high school is a gag really once or twice. Yeah. I've never gotten one. So I don't know. I guess what happened was he got this infection under his? Nail nail. And the. Again like under his thumb and thumb caused the infection. Swelled to the size of like a light bulb here like a on his hand. And you probably just waited like a few days. It'll just go away. And what happened was it got into his bloodstream had to go to the hospital. What's that infection? What'd you get an infection and any part of your body? And it just keeps you have to go to the hospital. They either have to drain it or they have to pump you with the IV antibiotics or your bloodstream and kill you. And I have to think that he came pretty close because apparently like Sharon his wife was like screaming at him admitting didn't realize a dangerous infection was he said I was in the hospital for a couple of days. I had emergency surgery. And I remember waking up so they basically they had to put him under. And slice some open to save them. I remember waking up in the morning, and Sharon said what the FM you've done to your hand. This is the last thing I knew that's that's remembered. He says the crazy thing is I'm right handed. Thank you for a new week after the long holiday week. How you guys doing everything, right? Yeah. What's the matter? Well, you know, you get a little spoiled after you get three or four days off, right? It's kind of tough to get back into the swing of things. It is it is. I noticed that that gets me motivated realizing that could be worse. I could be coming back at all. Looking at my Bank account. Yeah. You looking like some of the stories today. How'd you do have you stick to your diet or you pig out? So over this week, I did have a thanksgiving meal. I said I was going to have one cheat meal for thanksgiving. Visit good. It was very good. I ate too much. I can't tell us. After I had my second plate. I immediately felt nauseous really. Yeah. I think you stomachs shrank when you lose a lot of weight, sometimes you stomach shrinks, so you can't eat as much as it used to. Right. Definitely not because I normally could've put away three or four those plates right back in the day. And then this time I trouble with it. But who cooked for you who made the food? So my in-laws came to town my mother-in-law with her boyfriend or spent most of the week with us. They left on Saturday and my brother-in-law his wife and their kid. My wife's nephew all came to town the day before and left the day after mostly it was my wife and her mom that cooks though, I think her brother helped a little bit. Stuff how much weight did you put on funny enough? I lost a pound. Yeah. Really,.

"Eight fifty W F T. Al stay connected. We've talked about really crappy jobs that we've had in the past and bosses we worked for and I've told stories about Boston's, but coaches that played for and I can't think of any a boss at physically abused me. Or maybe do stuff that. I didn't wanna do that cost me physical harm because you know, I could sue for something like that. Certainly my coach from high school. My high school coach did stuff smacked me around a little bit took a baseball bat to my shins. I wouldn't run out a hit and stuff like that. But I couldn't read them out because that would that wouldn't have been good. But I I saw some video here of a a boss in China. In china? They really they take your performance very seriously on the job. And if you don't perform correctly. They will fire you, but they'll just physically abused. Yeah. So the video I saw was an employee of a home renovation company in China. And I guess for whatever reason, I guess he was a sales person or whatever and he didn't hit his numbers. So he was just standing there. And there were not just the boss, but a couple of other managers are walked up in his. Just started whipping them on the back like lashes, and he stood there.

"Eight fifty W S T L. So how do you lose one point one million dollars in funds and replace eighty-seven? Police car engines, this is kind of scary. You know, this is this popped up this morning, and they went oh my goodness. We have to get to Jerry Moyo, the mayor of West Palm on the phone and ask her what's going on or the city administrator. Westbound Jeff green, we asked him about this. They'll take our key to the city away. Where is the city anyway? She goes by hand those out like candy. Yeah. I got like five in my car right now. But in April it started with a couple of police cars had engine failure. And they didn't think much about it. Well now today, it's up to eighty seven. Police cars had engine failure. Engines had to be replaced repaired. Re whatever you due to an engine to repair it. And they finally they had hire a company to come in from outside. This is the West Palm Beach. Police department had the higher accompanied outside and do an investigation and they found out because it was tainted fuel that the gas that they had put in the car was tainted with bio diesel fuel. Oh, my really, but it didn't come. They traced it back. It didn't come from like the tanker. It didn't come from the truck that brought it. And then they found out that Miami Dade had the exact problem about a year ago. So they think it had something to do with at the refinery. Something went wrong or like way back in the in the whole process of making gasoline. So they've been in one spot but insurance companies and for saying well prove that it was uh. So that's that's from Jeff green from the city of West Palm Beach. Now, they're fighting to get the insurance money to cover this. If they don't. Would eventually it's taxpayers on the hook for one point one million. Right, right. He said the administrator said it came from an emergency fund that is literally set up for this kind of thing. But I would assume that money came from taxpayers, originally, replenish, replenish it. So somebody's gonna be paying for the one point one million dollars to the fund is for unexpected events expected. Seven police cars seven. Wow. But just imagine you're a cop and you're chasing a bad person. Yeah. Right. And all of a sudden, your car, just I wonder if any bad people that see that would be my question how many criminals got away because their cars died. Most of them were new like less than eight hundred miles. They say oh my God. So. Agents hit that was why I tell you how all right. Where are we now with the storm? Where.

Again, it all goes back to public s- being sued. I think it's about seventy years ago in plantation because some idiot walked into the store with a miniature horse. The manager said I'm sorry. Can't come in there with horse. She said, it's by service animal turned out that it was a companion animal, but she got a lawyer they shooed they want a lot of money public sent out a new policy. That they're not allowed to ask. If you walk in with an animal anymore. Some public talked to managers of public the last three two three months that say they're allowed to ask. And if they say, it's a service animal they can't question anything further than that fishy. Here's the problem. It's because of businesses like that, and I love publics, but it's because of businesses that are scared, and I believe that's most of the times the same issue. How's it south pizza? A week ago.
