"Play in everything. She happy. So but vomiting from a young age on is a different kind of situation than say we have an eight year. Old cat. That starts vomiting. So that kinda helps me kinda kinda zone in on the things that might be Contributing to what happened. So i tend to agree with your first veterinarian. That the concern would be that she had perhaps some kind of safa geel problem. And what sounds what they were describing was actually A pr a which is a Persistent rate eight arch in it is a fetal blood vessel. That just doesn't go away in some animals in its inherited problem We see it in dogs but also in cavs and what that means is not actually can constrict over the esophagus such at some point They may be able to eat drink and get that sustenance. They need but eventually a puppy or a kitten with this problem will not thrive and they will just continue to go down downhill. The problem is that has this little vessel constriction over the asaf against this is the food. So things have to go through. If it's constricted. That means that food and water sits in the biggest of in the throat area and then it doesn't take a whole lot with a little bit of movement and well up. It comes when that happens. You get the lack of the nutrients going in so we get skinny animals. But they're very hungry and they're so hungry they just can't gain the week the nutrients don't get in the other thing that can happen. Is that because the safa is so mushy if you will That food and liquid in the asaf against can actually be aspirated into the lungs and that can lead to aspiration. Pneumonia causes respiratory problems. Coughing trouble breathing Sometimes fever So that actually can be a consequence of the condition If we're if we're to that point now Your veterinarian me have gotten as far as they could. They did x-rays sometimes. We'll do a barium swallow so we take regular extra to give up a little bit of food with some barium in it and then we take other xrays Sometimes that doesn't pick it up and we do have to see a specialist and the lead there have to do a contrast cdt or an mri. Yeah when you're talking about big bucks fifteen hundred dollars that's probably what they had kind of thinking so you know. I think you're it's very sad. You know that the second veterinary visit. You know lead to her demise so quickly after that but i think the i guess looking back The course of a or a puppy that has this condition and that is failing to thrive and not doing. Well they do not survive without surgery. it's Eventually they're put down because They can't gain weight. They develop aspiration pneumonia. And they really just kind of go downhill so badly so I know it doesn't help in the pain and have the loss in the manner in which you lost her but I would say that you know knowing that surgery is really the only thing that can fix this type of thing We don't even recommend long term medical management for it because he animals. Just don't do well here back. Maybe whore he injected her in the back room with a steroid shot. When i can't i can't comment on. You know what he did or what he didn't do But what. I can tell you that you know part of a veterinary visit is a two way street. So we we definitely a veterinarian. We have our opinion in our recommendations and that should be validated and approved by the pet. owner I mean. I guess that would be a conversation to have with that office about The situation plan on it. But i haven't been able to get a hold of them since but I she didn't ask freight or any that flowing this stuff out of bruno's after he gave her a shot then she went downhill quite drastically and did suffered terrible death. But i feel betrayed. Because i feel he should talk it over with me instead of giving her that shot when he took her in the back room only to give her an x ray and primer nails. I feel betrayed for that. He'll be trade. I understand yeah. And i think that's you know it's an important thing You know for you as a pet owner a veterinary client to have that conversation. And you know whether it's reaching out to him or someone else at the office you know. I think that is important in. Hopefully once you do that you can have some closure and Recognize you did the best that you could for her to large amount for her One point five zero. Stephen really depends if we're talking. "And welcome back to taxations death. This show the talks about all the ways. The government is ripping you off and what you can do to stop them. Live on facebook and youtube from an underground bunker deep within the jungles of mexico. I'm dan taxation is stuff. Berman former candidate for president of the united states currently the race governor of texas. And we're about to step things up this week. we've got some really amazing stuff coming up As we tour texas. But today i have my good friend. Alex mercer said he is the former vice. Chair of the libertarian party. And the best chair. Ever of a libertarian national convention. Yes i said that best. Ever that i've been to anyway also professional wall street trainer who trained traders. It's a mouthful with ethical libertarian ideas. he's also a software developer. So he's got that going for him. That's why we're friends but before we get started. If you're watching livestream please make sure to like and share and comment and ask your questions. Sending your super chats Tonight's episode is brought to you by the number of knowledge. Indoor grown chemical-free smokable hemp flour and delta eight arches legal in all fifty states get elevated at nuggets knowledge dot com. And of course help the show out. Head over to taxation steph dot info in by a hats by flag by t shirt all kinds of cool stuff over there now to the show. Alex welcome. Hi doing dan. Thanks for having me. It's it's it's nice to talk again. It's been a while. Yeah it has been You well i guess. I want to say like well. You haven't been that active in the party lately but it's like the party hasn't been that active lately. I mean there hasn't been a lot going on especially because a co bid not a whole lot of conventions in that sort of thing but Yeah it has been awhile. I wanna start off by asking you which taxed you hate the most Piling more than likely the income tax I think it was affects. I hate just as much. That's one of the reasons why i should. Hopefully we'll be moving to florida soon. So i want to deal with that one anymore at least at some level and assuming that you're double double income tax over there. Oh yeah it's the worst new york city getting hit city state local high sex you. Yes i'm like. I'm getting pulled from all sides. I doubt about that. New york city has its own citizens eighty income. Act the nuts. Yeah yeah yeah and then like i. Don't i work remotely now. So it's like there's no reason for me to be here so you know we're going to let us because we can just give your job. Po box in texas and nevada. Florida in i mean you know. Just tell them your vpn in fair. Enough i mean really. What's the difference Yeah it's it's funny like how that works right. 'cause like what's what's their excuse for taxing. Your income like are are you because you're using the roads or something but like you're paying the gas tax so at doesn't it. It doesn't make any sense. It's all bullshit it's like it's some of them so much it gets gets wasted on imprisoning people in the federal level. You're talking about people who who die for some of these rules. People whose livelihood are crushed because of some of these rules. And it's all of our dollars. Yeah it's it is insane Yeah for all those who love paying your income tax. If you're listening just so you know you have blood on your hands because you've voluntarily give them money so they can go drop bombs on people whereas i only give them money when they put a gun in my face and even then i try not to tell him. Oh sorry. I don't have a wallet on me. Keep my keep my cash my sock. I'm hopeful that we can get to a world where they can definitely be little to no taxation. And i definitely this i take the approach of like encouraging people to be like nicer encounter each other because a lot of times when you think about like why do people have this impulse to like government. Do ex-governor why it's oftentimes because of how fear of uncertainty we have towards each other's can like we this other person's us so we need the government to stop him before they use them to us so we trust each other more like the more or kind of to each other. You know eventually can just stop asking there to be this sort of violent monopoly that interferes because we can just be community So that's right. We could be the adults right. I mean that's basically what it is right like when you're when your kids on the playground and like someone gets in a fight you call the adults over and they're supposed to break it up as adults. That's kind of what we asked the government to do. But it's like if we can break our own fights up. We don't need them that exactly if we just we learn and that's like things that communication emotional towns just learned that we just choose to be better we will get better a better world in the less violence more consent all that good stuff so it's just it's just all about just you know getting people to be better and then the government will go away. Yes i like that. I like that part It's a happy it's a story with a happy ending. I like happy endings. Yeah so so. Let's talk about like what you do or what you did you you sh- rain wall street traders. What's what's that. what's that about. I did it for two thousand eight to two thousand nineteen So basically do is at this comes back down to government regulations because of simply from regulations different level to participate in financial. You need several different licenses. So like entry level. You're having like series seventy three if you're like a higher level senior could be. Ceo could be a managing director at some level many series twenty four. If you're an investment banker any seventy nine traitor fifty seven so i would actually train people for all these different exams which oftentimes required me to kind of just foundational financial concepts Where there's like the different products that futures and options teaching economics monetary and fiscal policy In lots of different topics we'd also do like practice planning or we sit down with a financial planners and teach them how to build their business how to build a business that attracts customers attracts referrals. So i learned a lot in that space and it was cool. Because i got to be have a very kind of sort of educational influence along a lot of people in finance and cut through inject a lot of sort of libertarian. Thinking and libertarian perspectives. And a lot of these products and ideas and whatnot for for over a decade and was pretty awesome because especially at the entry level. A lot of these people who are getting their licenses where either like college graduates. Sometimes high school dropouts roll. Like you know people young people with forming those ideas so it was nice to kind of be able to be in that spot. Influence them right so so did you. I mean is there. Is this all kind of like classroom based stuff or like a little bit of all the above so basically we had classes so you'd be regularly scheduled classes and sit there with a whiteboard colored pens. Sometimes i'd actually get hired so i got to travel the world a little bit too like places like amsterdam. I'm canada To teach classes there or do trainings there. we'd also do. Special programs in company was a greco financial training. There's still around. They still do classes. They're still doing training programs I just now have switched careers but they would also do this program where we like taking wall street to the stock exchange or the nasdaq. See the opening closing bell stuff like that and the this was where we like. Show people like how to build up their practice. So part of that was building a level of discipline. Like basically you wanna walk into with the client walk in with a sense of authority that you are who you say. Were just solid financial planner. Who's gonna improve their lives and part of that is also making yourself confident. Oftentimes it's it's wearing wearing the uniform so having the photos of you in the new york stock exchange with different like.
