Why 98% of Businesses Never Break $1 Million in Sales

"Yes. The first thing you want to look at right is the plan. I talked about that earlier right and get it out of your head. You know what you wanna do. It's in your head. It doesn't have to be perfect. It just has to get on paper because once you realize when it's on paper you can see 'em mitt charging when i need to charge. Seventy nine percent of small businesses are undercharging for their product and service. I know everyone that's listening right now. You know you need a pay raise because you pulled that pricing out of your hiney. Let's be clear we all pull it out of her honey. What is dennis charge. What a charge. What is bomb charge. When was jim charge. I'm gonna charge this basma. Nothing nothing to do with your pricing. So i go through a formula. 'cause even my business when i first started right i was undercharging. Five dollars right. Which doesn't sound like a lot of money but five dollars times three hundred customers. Right was fifteen hundred dollars a month. I was losing times twelve months. That was eighteen thousand dollars a year. I was losing and that was off a one service. So you you look at. You're losing money because you won't take the time to get clear on what it is. You're doing eighty eight percent of small businesses. Don't hit that hundred thousand dollars. We can go get jobs. One hundred grand. So i want to if you're going to do this and if you're going to sacrifice your time your money your retirement account hawk your home right. Get a home mortgage max out your credit cards. Let's do it right so it's looking at. Who is the ideal client back in the day as a hairdresser i was like where do i find my ideal qualified customer. So we all know our avatar and you put together but the missing piece that i see is you. Don't get clear on how much money they make. And how much disposable income. They have doesn't matter if i make one hundred grand if i'm spending two hundred gram it doesn't matter how much five hundred thousand dollars if you're spending five hundred fifty thousand dollars so do they have the ability to swipe that card and pay your prices and services. You'll grow your business quicker and faster if you get really clear. So i'm really clear who my avatar is

Ready for More Resident Evil?

"Game from capcom called resident evil village. And i guess you've had a chance to talk to some folks about it right. Yeah exactly this is the eighth flagship title for resident evil and it happens to be on the year where they celebrate their twenty fifth anniversary. So it's a pretty big year for capcom. In for this franchise I played a little bit of it. And i've also got a chance to talk one of the producers behind the game Before we dig into that just a little bit of background so you plays his character's names ethan winters and he was the main character in the last resident evil game we saw which was called resident. Evil seven biohazard Lot of trauma with involving him and his wife. They've recovered The start of resident evil village. He's at his new home with his wife and they have a baby Ethan's home is attacked and then his daughters kidnapped so this sends him on this quest to rescue her now while this happens as he leaves his house to go find her he is you see him starting out kind of walking through the snow at night and then he pops up on this village. That looks like it's from hundreds of years ago but it's also very creepy and And that's kind of where it sets off one of the things that the producer mentioned was this one character who is basically i think her name is lady debt-rescue easy to say seriously and i'm probably butchering it. So i apologize. But long story short she's a villain and she's like a nine foot tall woman so She'd stands out but it was interesting. Because i asked about kind of the influences behind that character and they talk about how angelica houston's portrayal of more tissue addams on the addams family was a big inspiration and then also elizabeth bath three. Who is this hungarian noblewoman. Who is considered one of the most prolific female serial killers in history. So it's a really interesting combination. And they said with the game they wanted to present this diversity and this what they call quote theme park of horror so you have all these different characters that are kind of serve as main figures in the game and so they have kind of different approaches to horror.

"Tuesday. We mentioned a new study by the oxford internet institute looking at the impact of technology on mental health and teenagers study which included data from four hundred and thirty thousand teenagers in the us and uk found no change in the way. Social media affects mental health between two thousand and ten to two thousand and nineteen. Let's dive deeper. Although there has been little evidence to date technology use decreases mental health worries about its negative effects are a popular topic of conversation. In fact parents have been worrying. About what a new technology will do to the younger generation since the invention of paper no really and even all the way up until the current claim that video games caused violence which has been scientifically refuted multiple times the study by the scientists at the oxford internet institute and collaboration with the university of oxford and the university of cambridge aim to examine whether technology use has affected mental health differently over time. Elise Stefanik: From Republican Moderate to Trump Favourite

"Coming leadership ouster of liz. Cheney is about much more than the sacking of the number three house republican it is an unconditional surrender by one of our two major political parties to former president trump. And his big lie that the twenty twenty election was somehow stolen. Cheney's crime is not that she isn't conservative. It's that she's not conservative as defined by today's republican party which apparently means unquestioning loyalty to the defeated former president. She stands accused of telling the truth that the election was not stolen and for criticizing trump citing the january six capital interaction. This episode is just the latest chapter in the party's purging of its legacy the bushes the mccain's the romney's and now the chains names that appeared on eight of nine presidential tickets for one thousand nine hundred eighty two thousand twelve all now. Essentially excommunicated by the party's base and leadership and for one reason only the message go along with donald trump and his lies or just go away. Will this help. Republican election prospects in the short term. Perhaps but what does it mean for. Democracy when a great political institution refuses to accept free and fair election. Results and rejects. Its own who choose principle over party. I have heard from members concerned about her ability to carry out the job as conference chair congresswoman lizzie cheney facing a vote as soon as wednesday to ouster from leadership after criticism of donald. Trump's big lie at the election was stolen and his role in the capital attack. We will not forget what happened on january six and that the single greatest threat to our republic is a president who would put his own self interest above the constitution sherry me writing in the washington post this week. The question before us now is whether we will join trump's crusade to de-legitimize and undo the legal outcome of the twenty twenty election. The house republican leaders have answered. That question you know i. I've lost confidence boosting. New york's elise stefanik who trump has endorsed. My vision is to run with support from the president. What they're saying is if you don't go along with the big lie. You basically need to go so phonic voted with president trump. Just seventy eight percent of the time. Criticizing is border wall opposing him on nafta and trade even voting against his signature. Twenty seventeen tax cuts. Cheney voted with trump ninety three percent of the time once trump critic has been insulting women stefanik became a high profile trump defender during his first impeachment when she opens that mouth you at killing them. Elise trump meanwhile has denounced cheney unremittingly. This week he called her a warmongering fool who has no business and republican party leadership. The good news is in her state. She's been censured all seventeen. Republicans who voted to impeach or convict. Donald trump have faced censure votes or rebukes at home. Utah senator mitt. If i'm being honest some pretty crazy details about how this world we're living in is shifting. So can you share some of those details with fire nation in more importantly what you recommend we do about it three or four hours a couple moments. I think the biggest thing. You don't have to be a you know a brilliant to see that we are going through some major changes. The changes accelerating the way people look at life the way they work. They work their way. Think about families. All shifting was already happening because we have several ways that are heating. At one time we have a generational way. Baby boomers aging right millennials. Coming into a power. They've been raised differently. Make different decisions. We got that way that a gigantic were standing massively. Federal government usually quite about three point. Eight billion in taxes This last year. They've spent eight point two trillion s. Not the next six drilling. They're promoting its numbers that most people can never understand. I wanna take one second fire nation so you get it. When you get numbers that big we start using trillion and governments use the retrial billion. Or you member obama's mares billionaires even occur will sometimes use that price. You're not in the same universe millionaires and billionaires and certainly not true so let me explain a million seconds ago i want you to think in your own mind really make a decision. Don't just make me tell the answer. How long has it million seconds ago. Would you guess somebody will tell me. Twenty years to one hundred years we will say fifty days. The answer is twelve days. Because the fact that the last ten days of the NBA season turns into the analytics department of every team game theory ING out. Okay. If we lose this game to that team. And I just see nothing, but pain, I see three little people who one of whom is going to have to guard. Kevin Durant a lot. Now, you can obviously have Gallinari guard. Kevin Durant and have one of the other guys guard Draymond green. We will see some of that. I don't think it matters. I just can't see any scenario other than Steph Curry's ankle injury is extremely serious and Draymond green. And Kevin Durant. Get into a fight in the middle of the game. And Klay Thompson dog ho- dog has some issues. Maybe the dog has an allergic reaction to something rocko. I would never wish anything like that on Rocco. I just don't see any way that this is even remotely entertaining. Well, be entertaining not competitive. That's as what you meant. I don't. I mean, you these games will be competitive going into middle third quarter. I mean, these are the that'd be great. I'll sign up and I'll stop this has right. I'll sign up for that end of the session. I think they will especially early on. I think that these games through a half or so at least two of the four games. We'll be mildly competitive going to middle late third. I still pay billions one game that's competitive in the fourth Golden State's at found the rhythm again, they played really well with the markets. I was in the starting lineup. And then after the all star break, they quit they just stopped playing. And so if you look at their advanced metrics over the course of the season, they're down a little bit. But but that bad stretches in there, and I run up at this a couple of weeks going through they're back to playing great. Their starting five is figured out more and more. What how to play DeMarcus? And they will I actually think if they if the warriors let's say, we're talking three months, we see you in Vegas, summer, whatever. And the warriors that want to championship. I'm probably going to say, you know, what planned the clippers with the best thing for him. Because that's a team. It's not about talent. It's about fight. We're gonna we're gonna see how. How how go and say handles their emotional IQ, and it's the civic DeMarcus if I think the market needs to himself like a true role player, I think he's capable of doing that. And he's better than a role player. But if he just lets his stars control things and does his job one gets any technical. They try to get through in four games maybe five, but probably for they're going to be much better suited going forward. If the drama starts creeping in. Now, they lost it to Cleveland that one series years ago. It was mostly Curry's ankle. But they also were drained emotionally drained like we've seen hard and get a couple of times they've got to avoid that it's gonna be a grind. And whoever if I mean, they play Houston maybe second round, right? If you get through Utah. So. Yeah. But again, Denver shar bet the basketball guys Isla finished by saying this the basketball gods are coming for Denver because I'm not black. I'm I'm sort of like three-quarters joking. "But I've got a really talented kid who I think plays like Chris Middleton. He's a six nine seven two wingspan wing. Basically they used to be a fat guy now is six nine to twenty two guy. And when I tell people he he plays like Chris Middleton, I have to laugh because just two years ago. I never would have said that even though I. Light for I Middleton. He wasn't that guy. And that he knows it like Middleton is aware youngest was the number fifteen pick like these guys know brook Lopez with almost a joke in some places he shouldn't have been, but they know it's in their DNA that they have been overlooked in their careers individually. Not just collectively. And so I think you're what you said. It's exactly right. I think they're coming in. And they're thinking about practice only and then game one only, and then hopefully, they'll continue to stay humble and get through it fast because they don't get value there the importance of rest between series, but they do value. The fact that they've been slided for a long time in their careers. And I think they're ready to rain fire from above. Yeah. I think it's going to be a it's going to be ugly for the pistons. But you know, what what can one do by by the way, don't you? You have a you have a new a new Email training service. That's going to be debut, not true hoop? Correct. Speaking out, you just jogged my memory because you're working out this guy for the. Draft. Isn't there some? Oh, no. Yeah. Did give the drought robber freight's is just the talent. That ken. I'd used to do a lot of drafts house. I just I try to see my kid little bit more. But now that they're pretty much going to college. I I have the time to work out kids and some agents sent players to me, but the draft training stuff. Yeah, we're doing. Thank you for asking. If you go to the pro training, center dot com or even just go to me on Twitter. And I direct you at the pro training center on on Instagram where we're offering basically five workouts a week for anyone in the world. I've got I've got players. I tried all over the world as long as they can speak and read English. We're basically sending them workouts to do every day with video. So you'll know exactly what to do. And then we'll let you send video to us of you doing those drills. So we can evaluate you kind of what I been doing for pros for since. You're Donald was a rookie as I was when I started my pro business, and that'd be hey, guys sixteen years ago as of last night. So yeah. So we're we're launching that may I if you wanna get better basketball wanna get in better shape. We're gonna help you do that. Maybe I should do that. Cause you make me a player make me Ben more than more than a chucker made my mind. Teach me some grits. I can go and get a rebound. At least it'll be a better shape. We've got some. We've got some guys that are doing it. Now that that used to play and they just don't they play five and five gets them in shape, if both much jogging when you're pass twenty five ourselves a little more intense. The pace is good. And we found our players who train with us lose way past even the great athletes. Do we have one series left? I am not embarrassed to say not embarrassed to say that I took no notes on this series because I just ran out of time because we just there was only what normally there's like three I can get done on Tuesday or Wednesday. "They don't have any wings that can touch him defensively. It's not even it's not even close. I I'm having a hard time. Coach. Time ramey. Something can you give me something now? So is it's right. No. So if you're Troy well, first of all, let's let's just say it's you always want to say some nice if I that playoff team I going into the season. I I called them on on some show. I did I thought they were that Dr course team. I did not think just be eighteen. They actually disappointed me. I thought they'd be better than that. I thought the way we do a great job of kinda rowing the guys out there. They're short of talents. Still Reggie Jackson has played better until recently anyway, but had a bad start. They've had a nice season. I don't mean to pick on them if they've had a nice season. This is just a really really terrible matchup for for every hour every but for particularly Detroit, right? Whereas no question that I love my drum in the problem is this the Blake Griffin for them to be competitive in a series. And I think they could be competitive in some of these series, but plague has to have some kind of significant advantage against the guy guarding him. And he doesn't like he's not good against Janas. That that that is just a nightmare for Detroit. And I'm sure at least I would hope Detroit right now with spending time trying to come up with some things that they can do to get blade going with. Let's assume you if he's not gonna matter. Anyway, I'm not sure matters. If he is healthy Janas just eats them up alive. He's just too long. That's letting and strong which is something Blake like to bully people. He can't bully gone. It's too much. Can't believe them and Janas fast enough to get out on his pick and pop three which is a weapon for him to step back three ever three. You can get out to it Janas has really hurt him actually as a cutter. If if you watch the film, he's really caught Blake kind of ball watching and cut in for dunks along the baseline look saying, Janice is a bad matchup Janas is a bad match for the world. But it's he's like doubly bad against this team and everything Andre Drummond does score at the rim. Best offensive rebound. Or in the league. Detroit's great offensive rebounding team. I just don't see how that's going to work against Milwaukee. Which I think was. One or two in defensive rebounding brook, Lopez's huge. And I it just whatever whatever matchup advantages, Detroit usually brings to the table with those two big guys are just vaporized here. They don't matter and part because one of their big is actually played a lot like a guard because Blake boys you from the perimeter. The other thing is just gonna say, it'd be different. If you had maybe your best player being a point guard. At least I wouldn't that match will be different. But then you have who's one of my favorite players in the league. And I think he's playing basketball. I I'm writing about him actually for tomorrow as well. I I don't know if he's going to be on your on your own MBA team yet that I've heard, but I'm sure he's in the running for for all defense for for your defense for me. Yeah. He's gotta be. He's he's terrific. And I really love the way he's playing and and when I watched this theory that I'm going to watch it because I want to project out a little bit. I wanna I I wrote down for both this series. The next one we're talking about a drama free. First round. The these teams are lucky enough. Although the warriors have a tougher test. I to be much better than the team they're playing and they need to get through drama free. Because dramas coming like suspense is coming talented coming to try to beat them. This is not to be the case with Detroit. But walk it his to roll through. I I wish brogden was back. I I don't know if you've back even for the next round, he he obviously is important player for them. But it won't matter in this one did it'd be good for them to get a series under the belt because they haven't done that in a long time. I get a win..

"Whether it's Carol includes or they can get a little smaller and put Lavertu in the lineup with Russell Dinwiddie an Laverne has been awful. But it it is. It's a way that like the speed versus size thing. The nets have the speed edge. And they have a little bit of a playmaking edge. And we've seen since Phillies sort of dispense with the entire idea of a point guard or point guard sized defensive player. We've seen these playmaking little guys not so little you know, what I mean. Playmaking point-guard-size really light them up including Russell, and including a specially Dinwiddie in a few games. The nets are like you said they're gonna go at Embiid. They're gonna they're gonna if you're gonna drop back and give the ngelo Russell floaters. He's gonna take them. And then he's going to take some other stuff this little more valuable than Florida's. I think the nets had some interesting cards to play in how many playmakers can we get on the floor at one time. How much can we sort of ping ping, ping the ball around and just get ahead of this defense, and what costs are we gonna pay on the other end? And really if the cost is Tobias Harris and Jimmy Butler going to post up a lot. I think they're happy to pay that cost. It the MVP caused is the one that is too expensive, and they cannot pay it because he will put Jared Allens afro in the basket and shoot fifteen free throws every game. And they'll just have what they've done is just they'll just have to double team, which they've done and Embiid is a good passer but a turnover prone passer, and I think that will also be tested in this series. I nets have some they got some stuff to hang their hat on. But if Embiid is healthy, I'm not sure it's going to matter. Well, that's what it boils down to is just how active he can be. I'll say it. We've talked about a few teams that have to win the first two at home. I've always been a huge fan of the Brooklyn I want so my wife, and she agreed that if I ever I never wanted to work in an EMMY job, and I still don't, but if I ever considered it, it would be just in one place, and that would be in Brooklyn. I think that's the coolest place to I think it's the sexiest cool sports franchise. We have in America. If they go back to Brooklyn one one that place where you told me how incredible that crowd going to be. And I I've been at games where the crowd, I almost feel like really were the six men. I don't think that's always the case the NBA for lots of reasons in part mostly because he plays a professional basketball players and they've dealt with this before for a long time. I just can't I think that's crowd. It'll be it'll be great if they're down to. Oh. But if there is one one, I think you're going to see an incredible crowd reaction to stuff, and and so he's got to play. Well, that's why NB health is is so key bow by is not someone that you know, we can't just ignore him. No pun intended. They have some options when he's in the game. But it's not the same. And I do think that they're gonna I think if you're the nets you're thinking about trying to get into to, you know, if if a player in the NBA Zack has hurt hand, it seems like people keep hammering his hand. It's the same thing with the big guy that suppose, he's got a bad wheel. You've gotta make a move. So they're going to check him all the time and see if he's not sore to begin with if they can't get them sore? But if he's if he's able to just be ninety five percents or so would you how you put it his right? They're not gonna be able to score enough going after him to make up for what he can do in terms of production efficiency on the other end. I hate to break it to you coach. But the best Brooklyn crowds. So far have been like for Dwayne Wade's last game. It's it we haven't seen. But but it's new it's new I do think there is going to be a lot of fans at the game..

"So bonus on the right about this a little bit for tomorrow. He's terrific and underrated. And I think you value him alive. Does I think he could score in a lot of different ways for for Indiana against Boston against pretty much? Anyone they have the they've got to do it. They've got a teacher him, and they don't if they don't find a match up that could work for them. At doesn't have to be the player has to be the action and the player been they really don't have a full chrome to kinda wheel around. You know, they've gotta have that one thing that that seems to work for them and caused Boston's problems where they start scrambling around. I think the bonus is the answer to that. But here's Ron looking at with Boston. You you've mentioned mindset a few times you so let's. Your boston. And you just lost your energy, your, glued, your, heart and soul. Not just your best defender. But you're you're the biggest will Horford probably the most valuable player car their best player. But out question smart has been you know, this very well being up there. He's just got something that that really factors in and not having him for two series, which let they're saying now, and they know better than we do. I don't know how much they believe they can get through the next two rounds. And that is where I I worry Zack is to me belief is is the most important thing. Right. As I said and Shawshank hope if such an important thing, I don't know how much they hope last year they rallied up, and it was incredible. But it was a it was a different thing this year with the struggle. They've had to suddenly lose smart. I just don't know if they believe they're gonna get through Indiana. Yes, Milwaukee, I'm not sure. And they remember this Indiana treats every possession like it's a boxing match, especially defensively they guard you so. Hard and I still think Boston superior team. But to to go through that slog without Marcus smart, knowing they've got Milwaukee next. I just don't they we're gonna see Boston's a game. Which is why I think this series will be competitive. You know, I love Marcus smart. I had him first team all defense. He shot it. Well from three this year. I everything you just said about hidden him inspiring, his teammates, and and lifting them and have these these plays that you cannot quantify their impact. He makes them if you have Jalen Brown, Jason Tatum. Gordon Hayward playing well and Terry Rozier who can play the two I just think you have enough wing power even against the bucks because we don't know if brogden is going to be able to play this series yet. So I you know, I sort of buying Marcus smart as like a catastrophic loss because I think you can plug Jaylen Brown into the starting lineup. He'll defend Bogdanovich fine. I love book Donna veg what to his restaurant in Croatia. Big fan. He was on my list of like, maybe he deserves some. Consideration for all NBA thirteen four. But not really good player. He is not like if you're game planning a team. And you're like, okay, we're going to spend the bulk of this for talking about boy on Bohdan of that team is not a good office of team. I I don't think, you know, their size and physicality Thad young and Myles Turner. And some bonus like Horford and Baynes there, you know, Seh bonus will have some straight possessions, where he finds Marcus Morris on him and stuff, but I just don't see a lot of sort of easily exploited things. For them on offense and on the other end buses on a great offensive team. But. Darren collison defense worries me in this series against kyri. And if Kyrie gets rolling and they start throwing the ball around getting everyone touches, and everyone starts to feel it. Things can get ugly. So I think they need good point guard defense from Darren collison, they will get it from Cory Joseph, but he's been in a hellacious shooting slump for a long time. Now they will need him to make shots. In Boston scored in in winning throughout a four a hundred eighteen points per one hundred possessions..

"More important because that's where they won't switch and Augustine defensively. You will see the magic hide him on Danny green and put forty on Lowery's. So that they can switch any Lowry Kawai two-man man game with with -fornia and Gordon. And and anytime there's a cross match that makes transition that much more fraught and just who can exploit that. So I think this has a chance to be if not a super competitive series. Although I think it could be competitive of fun, but we will now move on to series number five, and we will stay in the east for the Indiana Pacers in the Boston, Celtics. Okay. The four five series in the east. The only one remarkably that was set in stone before the final night of the regular season, Indiana, which is now a five hundred team since all depots injury after starting off very well worn down. They had a hellish road scheduled toward the end and have been struggling, and I think they actually may be a little fatigued after after having everyone sort of have to carry a little bit more of a load against Boston who has been good luck figuring them out. But they've been surging toward the end of the season. The Baynes Al Horford double big lineup has been very effective. And I think this is a good series. For it against an Indiana team that plays traditional bigs almost all the time. My big question. The big picture question. There's always one end of the floor that I think is the swing end. And to me why I think this series is such a bad match over the Pacers. Is I just don't know how they're going to score against Boston. Even with Marcus smart. Who would have started on boy mcdonagh vich the Pacers best offense a player now? Even with him out with the oblique thing. I just don't know how Indiana was scored one of the reasons is they get a lot of points off of turnovers their offense. If you break it down by how a possession starts is actually way below average after defensive rebound, and after a made basket and very very good. After a turnover in Boston had the third lowest turnover aid in the league and has a very good half court defense. So coach talk me into it. How are the Pacers going to score enough points to compete here? Oh, I don't think I'll be able to talk you into that. Unless Boston doesn't play their game. And I do think that's possible regarding Marcus smart before I get to Boston. I they should really features. Any I should really teacher..

"A transition play versus a typical half core play and just straight up points per play in transition. That's a different category. Toronto is number one in both. So when they run they are incredibly effective and like lethal efficient Toronto. I'm sorry Orlando. Is number two and number two in both of those categories in transition defense, which is a hallmark of all Steve Clifford teams. They get back on defense. They make you earn it. That is a very interesting battle within a battle. And also there's going to be crossed matches all over the floor because in most of the ups Kawai has guarded Isaac. But Gordon has garden Colli on the other end of the floor. So they're going to be trying to find the right people if they care so that's an interesting one. And I just think the center matchup console in invention. Which is going to have to hit open threes. Orlando loves that action were forty eight comes for a hand off from YouTube rich on the left side of the floor. And there's no other player on that side. So it's an empty side action and two defenders go at forty eight new throws it back to enrich. Now Gonzales is smart. You know is that play the angles not quite as fast as you used to be informed. Yeah, you're going to have to make hey in those situations. And I I've talked to coaches around the league open scouting the magic. Because nobody knew what the freaking matchups. We're going to be until the season that forty two man game on the left side. People people fear, it, it's a real thing coaches fear it, and and and Baca is almost better equipped than sold to handle it. But you know, the starting lineups are what they are. You know, Orlando's got some things they can turn to is my only point. Oh, no question. Yeah. There. Well, I like how you put it there a real saying with the with that action the two men action, but they're they're a real team there when you if you were betting futures there are team you put some money on there. They've got a future if they decide what they do and keep them in all of that. And and to me is is obviously the keys their best player how they defend him. Toronto can be a great shooting team. They've lots of guys that can can't shoot well and have shot. Well, and Orlando knows he's not a guy that can be super active and protect the Rams they got to try again to to to hang back. And that means you can be open to solve gotta do on this shoot that shot has to be a soul is going to have to be more willing than he was now he started to get more willing toward the end. But they got him in part to shoot pick and pop threes and shoot trail threes. And because he's a natural pleaser. He has spent his early time in Toronto looking for everybody else. And there's been a method to that the method is they're passing more their sys- rate up the ball is moving. Everyone's happy. But in playoff time, if he if he has open threes in those scenarios, he's gotta take him. And he's gotta make them. Yeah. I think you're right. I think I think what they I'll be looking forward that. We haven't talked about yet is the raptors. I don't know if it's something they've talked about I've never asked the scientists. But they they like to they like to have Kyle switch onto big wings like Aaron Gordon and let the other team think that that's a mismatch apps on your watch a lot of times Kyle with a it's like Jamir Nelson used to be the same way. It was not easy scoring on that. I think I think whenever Kyle ways. I think his as is like forty percent of it, whatever whatever whenever the body weight is. That's where it is. Yeah. That's something. We've with coaches trusted. We look at that were scouting. I he he's not an easy guy to score without their AM screws up Orlando's offense, which is literally what they want to do in the first place is if they can get you to change what you're trying to do. And and get this, quote, unquote, mismatch, the mouse mouse inside good luck with that. That's exactly what's wrong. We'll do Orlando's got to be disciplined..

"Defense is terrific. And they're really the coast is a lot of credit. They're they're playing terrific basketball. In terms of getting a pop is always say good to great, right? Get a good shot worked for a great shot play away from the crowd. What what I'm looking at in this series in terms of where I think Toronto can really build that margin or two things. How do I does? We don't know. Aaron Gordon, they're just crazy athlete with highs. But of quite gets going, he's quite Leonard. And and shouldn't be all that tardy. You miss a lot of games this year. Toronto. I I love the term you like to use. When you call people sneaky, whatever I I don't know. How sneaky Toronto tradition game is, but they don't play the super fast paced and more or less average. But they they really push when when they can. And I think in this particular match up when you watch them play on tape. They're looking to fly which they should because you don't want to pay for Orlando defense, and they have court every possession. You wanna push early? And get and maybe get some cross matches because of transition or just great shots. And they're in Toronto up let it, but someone's Landau, that's probably more athletic. So if the raptors can really get moving early. I always the rebound outlet passers terrific, one of the better in the league at it. They've got those guys to race or the Raymond rates of the corner. Threes, Orlando doesn't go to the glass anyway. But they don't always get back. Right. They're young. And if Toronto can do that in the full court, they'll be good nothing to how court probably due at least always have an advantage. And then we'll see we'll you mentioned Jonathan Isaac shooting. That is my tweeted this, obviously, you know, my favorite matchup, but the whole post-season is high campuses. I Vic because there's so similar players. And and I and I think that I really think I had the chance B M I IP next year. He's really kind of coming on. But they're gonna make him shoot it back when they kinda choose how they want to defend Orlando. That's going to be a twentieth. They make early on. If he's gotta be gotta make three, and I don't know that. He will. He's not a great series. Okay. He's people love it. If he struggles early on that'll be much harder per Landau to get going. And like all these teams they gotta try to win where these two games early on. He finished at thirty two percent. But his stroke got a little better to me as the season went on. And you you hit one of my big issues on the head nailed it. I'll read you some stats Toronto their league average pace. But when they're rolling when they're getting stops. And Kyle Lowry is on the floor and Ciocci comes on the floor. They are looking to run every time off miss, and here's a staff for you points, plus per possession. This is Ben my buddy, Ben fog, a cleaning the glass, which is essentially how many more points you add on.

"You know, then I think the series will turn in a friendly way for them. And the last thing is, you know, I love lamarcus Aldridge. I consider them for my all NBA team. I didn't put him on. I think he's one of the great floor razors in the NBA just to competes on. Both ends just does his job. I get a little nervous for the Spurs. When I look at a match up, and I see forty eight minutes of really good post defenders to throw at him. And that's what the nuggets have if they can play every possession with now, they'll be switches and mismatches, and they'll run cross greens. And all that junk for him. But if it's forty eight minutes, and we've seen it against Golden State now, none of these guys Draymond green. But when he's got three post defenders who can all guard him one on one. It just be it can be tough sledding for him. And I think this matchup is going to be tough sledding for him. Yeah. I know you're not wrong with that. And I when when yoke I kinda look at the other way too when when Yokich goes out and Denver not nearly as good. That's when that's what really makes him. Hey, it's gonna be a decision before the game as hey, let's be smart about how we're something. So that when they when they rest Yokich, we we've got a really strong group, whatever they think their their numbers, tell them because they're going to have to make some serious. Hey when he's out of the game. That's it. Let's pause and move on to my fourth most interesting series of the first round. Let's put eight minutes on the clock for my fourth most interesting series. Finally, we are moving to the Eastern Conference, and we are moving to my NBA home away from home the Toronto Raptors the number two seed in the east against finally back in the playoffs for the first time since Dwight Howard and his favourite candies left Orlando, the Orlando Magic who had a very nice season in a very nice run toward the end and actually split the. Series with the raptors blew out. Toronto twice outscored them substantially over the four games that they played now. Kyle Lowry missed one of the losses and Kawhi Leonard Mr. another of the losses. So let's just you know, just look past that see this is this is interesting primarily because Toronto has had this season where Lowry's in Leonard's out Leonard's in Lowery's out. Markelle soul comes in. Who? Are we starting blah, blah? They seem to have settled on Marcus oil as their starting center. I think Seoul vuckovich is an interesting matchup for a their similar players a little different, but similar in both very good and I- I- Toronto feels prime to me to come out and feel comfortable saying this is who we are. We know who we are as a team were confident were home. I I'm interested to see how they come out, but Orlando's Orlando's defense has been top three in the league for three or four months. Now, that's a real thing. They have Aaron Gordon who can at least physically match up with Colli Leonard Cohen, Leonard a shot. Forty two percent against the magic this year. They have Jonathan Isaac who has been an absolute. Problem for my my guy, PASCAL Ciocci. I'm shot thirty four percent in this series. Gimme gimme one thing that gives you hope coach that this is a competitive series for the magic. Oh, well, you already said it. They're they're half court..

"Without the ball. And I just don't trust anyone on the Spurs defence other than Derek Whyte of their perimeter defenders to hang with that. And that's one thing that worries me for San Antonio another thing that worries me for San Antonio is Denver is thirtieth in the amount of corner threes, they give up by the most and like twenty fifth in the amount of shots at the rim. They give up the Spurs are. Thirtieth in percentage of shots at the rim and twenty ninth in percentage of their shots at our corner threes, so Denver has these very clear defensive weak spots. Now, one of their weak spots is is somewhat of a semantic argument. I mean the way they played the aggressive style they play if you can pass around their their rotations and stuff I think you can pass yourself into those kind of good looks from those spots. Denver would argue that they are giving up pressured corner threes at pressured shots at the rim. Whatever the case may be a really good offensive team is going to hurt them and no spots and the Spurs just are not designed to take shots from there. Now, maybe they will emphasize that knowing these numbers is they surely do, but I think that's another thing that kind of bodes well for Denver. And I just like I just even when they put lamarcus at the five. I just don't see anything that stresses me out about defensively for Denver. I don't see anything where I'm like. Ooh, that's going to be the derozen Aldridge pick and roll. Like, they're just gonna eat Yokich for lunch. Like, I think Yokich can hang fine. No matter how the Spurs play.

"And your family and always reminds me of it was like when I had young kids. I don't any. You're not really talking off air. And so please don't ever stop doing that. Because for those that are voter kids. We we like remembering what it was like when they were young and the kids really loved us. Hey, do you like remembering when it took twelve minutes for your four year old to brush your teeth in like four different tantrums? Because that's what I look through this morning. It was is that a fund one for you. Well, it's different with twins because they try to we just left it themselves. I think they were walking where like you guys figured out when mom, and I need a break. Okay. So we're going to do something radical for the NBA in two thousand nineteen on this podcast. We're gonna talk about basketball. We're not going to talk about how to teams including the grizzlies five seconds ago fired their coaches today and some of the things we're going. We're not gonna talk about Magic Johnson's four hour. Farewell press conference or anything like that. We're going to talk about basketball. We're going to put eight minutes on the clock for each of these first round series. And I have arbitrarily. Sh- put them in order of my personal interest level. So it's a total dictatorship. You have no say in this. No one else has saying it's we're going in the order that I want from most interesting to clippers grizzlies. Are you ready coach if we are going to put eight minutes on the clock four four five in the west thanks to a series of tank tastic events from the Denver Nuggets, the Houston Rockets and the Utah Jazz a rematch of last season's conference semifinals one four one by Houston. Ricky Rubio missed that entire series. They split the season series this year to two there were missed games. Littering some of those my most this is counterintuitive because the most interesting part of any Houston game is usually how in the hell are they going to guard James harden and the answer for Utah has been actually mostly Ricky Rubio whose health is in question and dropping Gobert back at the rim. Like most of these teams do I'm actually more interested. On the other side of the ball. Hugh Utah's offense fourteenth in the league. Although the numbers are are much better than that when they play their Jae Crowder at the four lineup versus the favors go bare lineup, but we remember last season against the different both stylistically and qualitatively rockets defense that switched all the time to jazz could not score the jazz could not score against them in the regular season. And so to me this is a very competitive series. The numbers would say these are two of the best three or four teams in the league. If not the two best periods since about February first. To me. This series gets interesting if Utah conscripts for on Houston, and that sounds weird because Houston's defense has been bad all year. But a I think they have another gear and be we have some evidence that the way they play although they don't switch as much as they used to is a problem for Utah team that doesn't have a post up guy dump it down put somebody in the basket and really only has Mitchell as a one on one guy so coach take that under the floor. What are you looking for from Utah to kind of loosen loosen up the works a little bit? First of all you stole my line. I've first thing I have is that they are the two best teams since February..

"I don't know if you've got the chance to try that one. I did actually. Yeah. It's okay. Threadbare? I feel like not very substantial I predict that one just because I'm kinda crazy for peanut butter cereals, all the restraint. I had to not say nutty right there and say crazy instead. Doubt myself. But I sorta dug it. Most people will think that peanut butter cereals are pretty one in like what they can do much like the powder donuts. But I I see a lot of nuance in the nutter butter cereal formula, which is perfectly recreated peanut butter cookie bites. The ingredients are exactly the same. Except this time they're sort of smaller circles instead of this weird Infinity sign figure eight sort of. Curled up little, you know, sort of like those dancing Swedish fish fortunetellers, if you ever had those that Dan's in your yes. But. The only problem I had with was that it was really awkward to get a full spoonful of them because they didn't just sit. Right. And that's where sort of that same really oily and buttery sort of nutter butter filling flavor really comes to do a great job in peanut butter cookie bites because you can stick the spoon tall and call it a day. On the front of the bog Foley's. I mean, I've seen a lot of cereal. Packaging running. It's far from the truth stack. The spin. Bring up the rear here with a less beloved if I can say that I think. I will allow it. The a less beloved take on an old favorite. It is fruity. Lucky charms. Now, my child saw this in the store and just had to have it. And it seems like the intended sort of fact for this one it is it is the most sort of lucky charms that a stereo could be I think it is just like regular germs that you love. But instead of the oak pieces, we got some corn. Pieces going there damage make of Ferdie lucky charms. I mean, you know, it's it's an awful lot like waffle crisp. If it were terrible. Three three. But I just really can't understand the it's really an epidemic of flour being swapped.

"But I also thought it was good it tastes like a Honey waffle, crisp, which is really really resonates within my bones. I didn't try that that the pieces looked too big. I'm on record as saying I don't like big piece aerials choking hazard. Just doesn't feel like a meal to me. I didn't eat like a meal. Non till? It's Russell in in your stomach like marbles. That's how you. But yeah, it seems that we both agree that powder. Doughnuts was the superior candidate. It it's really thickly coated like it has the real Donut problem of just sort of spring pants with snow in a sense. All the worry. The least suggests sorry, it's just I just got a really long haired white cat. So I've got the win rulers on hand any it's a state of mind now, but I guess my sort of read on the flavor of these powdered donuts is that it's sort of like the frosted animal cookies that you see from like Keebler or like, the mothers, grand or whatever. But then just sort of slathered on a whole actual layer of powdered sugar. Yeah. It's it's uncannily close. They also got a really good. Jona tes tastes to them. Like, it's I don't know how they get it. I mean, similar obviously to like pink doughnuts, which was an excellent cereal. From. I guess I was just last year twenty seventeen. Yeah. Last year, which is excellent and powder net. Is is good. I would I would say if I had one complain about it, even though it is like absolutely excellent. Is that it is not particularly deep is not a it's not a it doesn't have that sort of like, it's very good. But also sort of a one one trick pony in terms of of Syria flavor. I think it's not one that is going to be like a permanent. Like, I don't know. I just feel like it needs. Something to vary. It up. Right. I'm not sure what exactly that would look like some sort of coffee element in. There would be like I was while get Rick super dark chocolate or something like that like help bounce it out. But it is uncannily close to what they are shooting for it. Definitely feels like you you sort of age as you're eating a box of this. You just get to about. Amid bucks crisis and think I don't know if I can do this anymore. The damage has already been done and coffee is a good choice. I will say this is true. I threw out the last third of the box because I was plowing through the first two thirds so quickly, and my my daughter discovered it that I had done this terrible crime and started crying. So I had to buy a new fresh box. Fatter now lurks in my covered. To join friend. I'm sure temptation kicks. What else do we have on the their abuse docket, Dan? So one of my latest reviews was multo meals newest cereal peanut butter, cookie bites. This is Sierra that kind of looks like a rounded waffle, crisp. I guess is sort of a challenge to see how many times can namedrop that same serial, right? Right. Finding anywhere. But multo meal is sort of a subsidiary now of post, so they're kind of have a whole dominant arm on the bag Serio market. Which is why it wasn't really surprised to see that these peanut butter cookie bites looking awful lot like the nutter butters cereal that post released last year..

"It brighter news Syria wise this week. We've got the subsiding. It looked the shot that I saw like it was in stores was not in stories yet is peeps cereal. You know, it actually is in stores now really you can find it. Yeah. It's been spotted at target. I think almost exclusively at this point. I think it will come elsewhere. But that's probably your I bet to look if you want to find peop- cereal now, this was another serial that we had heard rumors of like months ago because we found some snack food sort of researchers scientists very elite corps found a product listing for Kellogg's cereal. Peeps. So there was really a battle of semantics back, then what was more likely AP flavored Kellogg, cereal or Kellogg, cereal flavored peeps. Because peeps has done all kinds of crazy varieties before you could totally see them doing like a cocoa Krispies fruit. But then we got this early blurry confirmation of the box. And then finally the real thing here today, it looks kinda dislike selectively hued for lives with marshmallows. But it's the description that really gets me because on the box. They're not even sort of subtle about saying, this is a marshmallow flavored cereal with marshmallows. It's just sort of. I don't know. There were done. See of this weakness is really it's perfect for peeps. Because that's kind of a candy that feel a lot of people have a complicated relationship with. It's very divisive. It can sort of strike fear into the people who really hate that sort of like glittery chewy texture. I don't know how you feel about peeps. I like peeps. Personally in moderation. I think what they're going to have to get is that I think you're right to make it a peep cereal. I think you're gonna have to get some of that granulated sugar texture in there. I think that is such a big part of the of the peeps experience. I feel like you. I feel like using classic mar bits is not gonna cut it. Because I think the experience is going to be too close to eating extremely stale. Peeps now, slightly stale. Peeps. Very good. Extremely good. How long recommend sort of barely aging your peeps for five five three days. Open three day three days open. If you go too far give up, but I think usually three days open. They get a nice chew to them. And it's a whole it's a whole sorta it's much more adult. With a fine Patino. Exactly. So the marveling. It's really nice. Yes. So this is another serial that I feel like kind of the opposite of chicken in waffles, and it's really not gonna have much without some sort of beverage added to it. And last year, they had they released peeps flavored milk, but nobody has spotted at yet this year, which feels like sort of a horrible missed opportunity because instead they released peeps. Coffee Creamer this year, which just really feels like a slap in the face to put those two things. So Jason Lee close to each other yet. No one would recommend that you do it. Maybe next year. We will get sort of a hard liqueur to amp up even deeper. A lot of those big January cereals that. We've been waiting on have been showing up at the doorstep, and we have a bus to talk about cer- not gonna spend too much time on any single one. But I would love to start with. I'm gonna go ahead and call it right now, I think at this point. And so this isn't saying because it's so early, but I'm gonna go ahead and call so far powdered doughnuts. Doughnuts cereal. My favorite cereal twenty nineteen so far it's crazy that you say that because I'm a hundred percent in the same boat. So these were to hostess brands neck, Kate cereals that came from post recently, as well who has really been on a tear, creating these crazy cereals, and obviously it's kind of hit or miss with woodlands in terms of the become common limit of sanity. But so we were kinda surprised they didn't choose twinkies. Cupcakes as their snack cakes because instead they chose Honey bun and powdered Donut cereal now. Honey bun. I I don't know if you've tried that one..
