"So perhaps by this time if it had failed, it wasn't producing any heat, so no black marks, or when the crew did their evacuation trills. They shut down the engines, but perhaps damage to the airframe was sufficient that the right engine shut down connections didn't work so that when they fire bottled and turned the HP cocks off, perhaps that right engine didn't respond because something had an electrics are broken or something. You're absolutely right. That's part of it. That is how it's emergency evacuation checklist is to pull those T handles and that should cut off all that stuff. Doesn't look like it did. Either that or they didn't pull the T handle. I don't know. Yeah. Nice thing about this is we're probably going to get the preliminary report pretty quick because it's not going to take them long to and they can ask the pilot. What happened? They don't have their input. Definitely going to help. That's good. Uh oh. Who's that? I know who that probably is. So hang on. And it's probably somebody thank you. It's something that we're probably going to talk about a little bit in getting to know us today. Oh, cool. All right. So hopefully they'll be leaving a message right now. Okay, let's offer a teaser, huh? Let us continue to the next item and this is an incident that evolved a crash that involved an F-22 spiraled to the ground a wobbling F-22 that spiral to the ground and a secretive crash last year. And let's see newly obtained documents. Well, you know, it's a very secretive. That's secret. We know about it now. Yeah, exactly. Get out of the bag. May 15th, 2020. So it was a while back, and I guess probably the people that live near where the thing went down probably knew about it. And the guy that was flying it does as well. Let's see newly obtained documents offer a clearer picture of an F-22 raptors demise in Florida last year when it crashed near eglin Air Force Base during training with other fighter jets. The F-22 grew increasingly wobbly upon takeoff, refused to turn left, and shortly, barrel rolled into the ground after its pilot safely ejected according to the air force's investigation into the May 1520 20 incident that was previously not made or not previously made public. Air force times received the safety board investigation documents through a freedom of information act request. And so that's why we're hearing about it now. The air force said earlier this year that it did not convene a longer term accident investigation board to look into the crash instead waving that usual requirement because of operational security concerns. A commander directed investigation in a safety investigation board took place instead, and much of the paperwork obtained dates to June 26th, 2020. The inquiries findings detail a harrowing morning at egeland's test and training range as the pilot struggled to control and then bailed out of one of the air force's most advanced airframes. A confusing mission to inspect the crash site and find the pilot nearly resulted in another collision between an F-22 and an F-35 lightning to. Let's see. I just love paying taxes when I read about stuff like this. Good a lot of taxes on this one. Take my money. Please. The air force prepared a video that kind of shows like a computer simulation of what happened. And I'm going to play what I did is I started it from the last little over a minute of the video because the first part of it is just to kind of making orbits and losing altitude and twitching here and there. But at the end, it gets really, really twitchy. And wobbly show the wobbly? Yeah, shows the wobbly Liz. And here we go. So we're going to watch that, I think. I've asked to share the video and your browser is having trouble sharing your video. This can happen if the file is invalid. What do you mean it's invalid? Uh oh. Oh, that's no good. Oh wobbly. That's a wobbly video. Thank you, Liz. Let me try this again. Hang on. Why is it doing that? Let me go look here at the file. Little technical pickup, which is very unusual for our show. Never happens. Never happens. By the way, thank you for vaping earlier when I was talking with the HVAC technician. Yep, they're gone. And at first I thought they really screwed up because I could feel nothing but really, really cold air coming out of this vent. And I'm thinking, that's no good. I know I thought you wanted an AC installed. Are you wearing his sweatshirt there? It's 80° here. Well, it's actually starting to warm up, but it's been mostly in the low 60s in the cabin for the last day or so. And the other morning was like 54° when I got up. But now it's starting to set at 70, and it feels like it's warming up in here. So that's nice. So anyway, let's get back to the video and oh, I know what's happening. Hang on. It was something that I was sharing it. The Dropbox and I have smart sync on, which means that it doesn't upload it to my local. It's not so smart. That's not so I'm not. It's much smarter than I am. That goes without saying. Okay, here we go. This is the video that they prepared. Yay. Dramatic reenact the dramatic reenactment of the twitchy wobbly F-22. So it's pretty cool, actually. It is. About 8 that between 8009 thousand feet above in the area of eglin Air Force Base fort Walton beach, Florida. I've fallen into egeland at least two times in the last couple of weeks. Luckily I wasn't flying when this happened. Then again, it would have been kind of neat to watch. But anyway, the F-22 pilot is attempting to maintain control of this jet as it kind of circles very hard when it's doing a Windows update. Yes, will that? I don't know. That could have been a problem. Vertical acceleration is on the left side there right now we're right about one G, 1.2 G and the airplane. Now, I think if you look at that little time staying up in that thing, the seconds are going back. It looks like about four times normal speed here. So maybe it wasn't quite as twitchy as it looks in this video. But now it's starting to really get out of control. And there you go. Wow. Corkscrews and then it's inverted, and then he punched out at some point, I think when it was inverted. Yeah. Yeah. Wow. And the impressive. Pilot made it through the ordeal alive. And as I said, the there was some there were some issues trying to find the crash site and the pilot. And they had an F-22 and or a couple of F-22s and an F-35 or two over the area and they almost had a midair collision. And apparently somebody nearby saw the crash and picked up or maybe it was a air force vehicle out there that picked up the pilot and brought them back to the base. Took him to the hospital. He was hitchhiking. Hitchhiking, yes. Okay. Let's see, what else to say about this? Did they really say exactly what happened? Oh, yeah, I found the paragraph. Okay, go ahead. After more than a year of silence on the mess, the air force said in August, the jet crash because of a maintenance era made after the aircraft was washed. Impacted control inputs transmitted to the aircraft..

I don't usually talk about that story because usually doesn't come up in conversation. Talked to somebody like you. I was with Army combat troops for about 45 years ago. And this was not a problem. Then I guess our young folks today are as a group in very poor shape. And our military needs troops in top shape. So this makes sense. The Taliban have once again agreed to suspend attacks in southern Afghanistan that have displaced thousands in recent weeks. But on ly after the Americans promised to hold all strikes and night raids in keeping with the peace agreement we signed with the insurgents in February. The United States has been conducting airstrikes in support of Afghan forces trying to repel weeklong Taliban assaults in southern Helmand province that threatened to derail efforts to end Afghanistan's 19 Year war. The Taliban pledge came after a meeting with US peace envoy Zalmay Khalilzad Odd and a general Austin Miller, commander of U. S troops in Afghanistan. The Taliban agreed to suspend their operations after we said we would end drone strikes on insurgent positions as well as night raids and air assaults. The negotiations, which have been taking place since the U. S, signed a deal with the insurgents on February 29th are seen as the country's best chance at achieving peace. The odds for peace are small, but these people deserve the opportunity to live in peace. Plan B is for us to stay there as the police force basically an endless war. I hope this plan works. "Because this weekend you're running what you call a day or a hell weekend down near Fort Bragg. Tell a little a little bit about what you do there. What do you do? Yes so first of all this being a company that is is ran in founded by Jesus Christ first and foremost the Hell Day. No Pun intended. Is kind of takeaway from Navy Seal Hell Week in which they spend five days being sleep deprived getting absolutely crushed out on the Pacific. So, it is somewhat of a a day of navy seal training, but it's not just. Navy SEAL PJ, training Green Beret Training, it is a team building experience in which we teach. Young men and young women are authorized to try out for special operations. We work with them on how to be good leaders. Selfless leaders good communicators how to take on adversity. How to deal with some of the stressors that you're going to have in the special operations training pipeline in deal with it now get exposed to it now before you start talking to a recruiter, so the you know if you have what it takes, or you know what you need to work on before you go in. So. That's so calm. Athlete we run about two events. A month and different places in the country were a large online community. So young women and men that want to train for special operations can apply to part of our group chats. We've got about fifteen hundred members across the country. And we will travel to these locations and work with these students who are civilians, some of them active duty before they actually enlist to get them ready now without revealing anything confidential. Obviously, what kind of missions did you have in Afghanistan? Right. So to rewind a little bit frank. I actually didn't know about what a PJ was. My Dad was a PJ, and he was a PG. In the late eighties and early nineties stationed at Eglin Air Force Base. And after my unsuccessful college baseball career. And I can tell this story later, but God led me into Para Rescue and I would've never known about unless it was my father, and my dad actually ended up re enlisting during the two thousand eight recession, okay at crushed, my family and he ended up re enlisting in the air, force allowed him to be placed on the same team as me at the same time, and we became the first two special operators in the history of the country. father-son same team same. Wow, that's amazing. So in two thousand twelve, we got tasked with a deployment to Helmand province Afghanistan. In, that's where about ninety percent of the entire world, opium supply is so the fighting very heavy down there and you have camp leather neck about ten thousand Marines, so I got to deploy by AFI air force rules. My father and I could not deploy together. We couldn't jump out of planes together. We could use shooting courses together. We could scuba dive we could do. high angle, low angle robes, mountaineering medicine, but we could not fly in military aircraft together. We cannot conduct missions together or deploy so I went out there to Helmand province Afghanistan. one deployment, my one and only deployment, and it's very humbling when you look guys that have been seals or PJ's Green Berets for ten fifteen twenty years. They've been over there seven eight times. They spent years their life in the war zone. So. It's very humbling, so shout to you guys. Shout out to my brothers who've spent way too much time over there God. Bless you and we owe you guys everything for this freedom here. So I went over there to southern. Afghanistan and my tasking was. To be a quick reaction, force slash has evac platform in the name of our team was called. The Guardian Angel. Tactical Response Team so if it was the worst day of teams, life pilot shot down. Blows up a vehicle British. RECON team gets pinned down by sniper. One of. Them gets hit. British special forces in the zone. They get the troops in contact, which is a tick troops in contact. Couple of them get injured. There's no aircraft asset nearby them. They don't have anywhere to take this. This patient and they're going to die in a situation like that. We would have to come in. So when we launched on a mission, it was the worst day of somebody's life. And we started this. Bible study. Over there I would get on alert at one am, so I would start at one am, and we'd end at one PM so zero one to thirteen, hundred Taliban doesn't come out and fight at nighttime. They don't have the equipment that we have. They don't have infrared night-vision. It's Cetera, so they fight during the day so typically when you come on shift, you're not getting any missions until it's light outside. So I'll never forget my first mission. It was pitch black. It was at one thirty a M and we had just done. What's called a changeover, and that's where you get all of your gear onto the aircraft and the team before you take all their gear off, so we were attached to these H H sixty pave Hawk helicopters in each one of these helicopters has either two fifty caliber machine guns on it with party packs. That's splash around trace around burst, round or two mini guns. That's three away caliber. We got typically and enhanced battle rifle on there were carrying in for a one assault rifles I had 'em two or three grenade launcher on my rifle. So we are heavily armed platform, and we would keep our weapons and all of our medical gear and tactical gear. The Hilo, and then we kept our scuba gear, parachuting gear mountain, climbing gear all of that in this context, and so if we needed to take, it would run it over to the helicopter. So on this particular mission. We were doing changeover. So the other teams move all their gear out, and we have a mini hospital set up in the back of this helicopter, so they're kind of taking some of their IV bags out. And we got blood pack, red, blood, cells, and inflow to being. We got antibiotics back there. pain managment kits. You name it, so there's a lot of checklists that have to be done in rehearsals that have to be done in between change over. We got hit with the mission when we least expect it. And I'll never forget. It was only a fifteen minute flight time to get down there, and it was pitch black, and it was in this poppy field and right when we roll up. There's all these bearded guys, and you could tell that some of them were Americans, but some of them were Afghani and it ended up being a partnered special forces team in Odi operational detachment. Alpha these green berets. Unfortunately, they had hit a improvised explosive device while control had blown off. This one Afghanis arms and his legs, and it blew off this other Afghans arms, and then we had another Afghani that just his legs were blown off, so we had three Afghanis. Partner Forces K. Afghan. Commandos thrown on our helicopter. pitch-black fifteen minute transport time. All of them are screaming. There's blood and Mucus and fluids everywhere and I could not. Get any type of organization from the chaos, and it was the first time in my life I mission by the way that I couldn't really think or operate well, and I had to slow down and take some deep breaths and tell myself you got this. Get with it. You've been trained to do this. You've worked on this over and over and over again, so get with it and do the mission. By the time we ended up getting back. To camp bastion which is where the closest level one trauma center, so that means that you have a team that can do major surgeries ca cardiothoracic surgery etc.. By the time we got there I. Just try to get an IV established on this guy. He kept ripping it out of his arms, so we couldn't give him. Drugs couldn't give him blood, and those poor guys probably died. So that was my my welcome to Afghanistan, Landon, an poppy field, and and getting three guys with their limbs blown off onto the bird. My Third Mission Zero four twenty seven Alpha. We got dispatched to a British RECON team and We are piece of information. Call. A nine line stated that there was enemy in the area and that these guys were taking fire. We had one patient with A. Gunshot wound. Okay, and for listeners out there. If you guys kind of know the nine one one system, you'll see people that don't have health insurance. They'll abuse the nine one one system.

I'm glad Pat Pat Pat and I still agree And not only the Senate but Nazi Pelosi's house could also be lost and not only the house but hundreds of down ballot candidates could also lose leaving the GOP with the whip in hand and redistricting Congressional See seats through the decade. What happens in twenty twenty? What significant event is going to transpire in In Two thousand nine hundred twenty happens every ten years sometimes. It happens in odd years. What's significant event is going to happen. In Twenty Twenty time starts now Roger. Best of luck stopping the census the US census. Why do they do that? So they can tell. Where Congressional districts to some have to get smaller or larger than at the geographically move because the population has changed in the last ten years. Now there were doing this correctly. They apportion by population. They don't do that anymore. So Congressional districts because they fixed the number at four thirty five to continue the two party. Racket Congressional districts don't don't growing the they don't change that much but there were during redistricting though whichever party is in control of the has represented gets to draw the maps if wine box. Nancy loses the speaker's gavel. That would mean I'm going to guess. Kevin McCarthy would be the speaker if he's re-elected that speaker McCarthy within a point the commissioners and the commission the Study the Census Results and then redraw the districts. How do they? How do they redraw them to their advantage now? Let's put put all this together. This is all coming to a head as a result of what the election of Donald John Trump in two thousand sixteen which out of all major talk radio mafia media figures. Who Predicted Yours truly? Who told you on that day? Who told Mark Krislindahl? He's GonNa win. Kresa was like Whoa. You're really you'RE GONNA go with that golf it's GonNa Happen. I knew that night when I was at dinner with miniature daughter number twos restaurant when she was working when we were looking at the results on the phone at about eight o'clock which was shortly after the polls had closed and most of Florida but the panhandle of Florida had not yet closed. And we're looking at the results if he is almost carrying Florida right now with Eglin Air Force Base Pensacola Fort Walton. It's over she's GonNa Lou. She'd lost Florida. It's over. He's going to win it. And that's when I knew that our lady had told me correctly to go ahead and make the prediction so now think about this here we are in Twenty Twenty Don. Jonah Manhattan is in control of this whole apparatus. All of this is happening Bernie Sanders. Sentece is the exact predictable result of the success and rise of the trump administration. Now why is that because sanders is evil? He is a Malthusian infanticide a lunatic. You said it several of the debates I think we need to have population control measures implemented will start to third world meet starting to Third World. Minute they're coming here raises his hands when Asked are you for late term. I'm for abortion. And all instances this demonic inspired evil here straight up. You call it socialism. All you want I call it evil. What is John John Manhattan? Don Johnson Manhattan is what pro-life most consistently prolife candidate that we the president of our lifetime through a few other nuggets out About Don John Manhattan. I watched the beginning of that speech in North Carolina. Again last night he said it again. He said it again. We believe in the sanctity of human life because all because we are all God's creatures we are all created by God on his Ash Wednesday message. He pretty much said the same thing. He keeps saying. Creatures God blessed to be creatures of God folks that is not accidental. You you think you're gonNA hear that. In a burn rally or Creepy Biden rally or a foe Kahane's or a rally. Nothing of the sort. We're living in momentous times because the good is truly and there is good left in mark there. I truly believe that there is problems. It's always problems we're humid we're falling but there is good. The good is lining up against the band. You're you're looking at the fight of all fights right in front of your eyes right now. Those punk kids out there with their nose ruined rings and they're demented and warped sexual perversions. That are now being that are regular normal people like me and you being Joel. You will accept this No I won't. They mean business. They want this Bernie Sanders Guy. Because he's promising all this stuff for free. He's promising that they don't have to have a work ethic he's promising basically slavery. I mean the irony of this is this isn't enslavement. Yeah I'll give. I'll give you the free college. Well something we'll give you the free health camp free electric calls all of it. You get it at all but you gotTa Vote Democrat Socialist. That is an enslavement trapped. There give you these things now. They're too. Ill educate educated to think of this. But if you're given all of those things what is taken away because you can't just give some have something to give don't you what is taken away. What is taken away is true freedom to choose what an irony. The alleged part party of choice is not for choice anymore. We talked about this the other day if you live in California. You don't have any choice. Your child's GonNa go if they go to a government school. They're going to be taught that they're probably in the wrong body and they need to transition so the battle lines are being drawn. The contrast is clear couldn't be it couldn't be any more clear on John Versus Whatever Demon. Krant evil is thrown up against the wall. Mike Church.

How Former Thunderbird Pilot Col. Chris Stricklin Developed an Interest in Flying
"Today. We have Colonel Chris Strickland with us Karl thank you for coming up and being with us. We really appreciate she hit. Thanks Chris. It's always a great time to be here at a and I appreciate spending time with you. Absolutely we'll tonight. We're recording this that we're reporting on a Friday here tonight. Something very special is happening and you're actually launching your book with us here tonight. I am and it's an honor to do that. With such a passionate crowd about aviation to launch a book about an incident that happened to me a while back and how my family dealt with it and what it means to us today well. It's really an honor for us to to be here with you and to do that. We'll get a little bit into the book and Events Around the book but you know I one of our favorite questions. We like to ask people as just. Where did it all start? How did you I I didn't flying? That's always the question that people in Aviation WanNa know is how did you get your inspiration to take to the skies and what we do every single day from me. Small Town Alabama Emma boy my dad worked in a quarry no military in my family and I decided to fly fifteenth and I went to my counselor and said Hey hey I want to go to the Air Force Academy I WANNA fly fifteens and and she looked at me and I would love to say she was supportive but she goes. What's the Air Force Academy and so from their seventeen year old me I got my car went and found a first term senator and said Hey sir I want to go to the Air Force Academy? We sponsor me up there and I had a saying hanging you know my wall my whole life and it was cut out of a magazine it was laminated. I looked at it every morning every night and it simply said like begins at Mach two and I always had it but I didn't you know where it came from. So as I started speaking writing a book I researched it and came from a magazine Article Net back in nineteen eighty six George Plumpton wrote in popular mechanics magazine and he had the opportunity to fly in an F. Eighteen and he did about a four page spread about how it was demanding on the pilot how what it was really like to be a fighter pilot but most most importantly at the end of the article he compared the F. Eighteen to a corvette and to a young child in Alabama. The corvette was something I really loved and I said that is compared to a corvette. That's what I WANNA do with my life. That's funny. It's funny that came from an Plumpton article man. That guy got to do everything I wonder how it compared to quarterbacking the lions yeah it's amazing to does. He understand how many people he inspired what he wrote about and it was it was a true non fighter pilot article about what it was like to be a fighter pilot and the demands that are on our body and what we go through in in it just made me go. I want that so from there you did you you did attend the the Air Force Academy I did. I went to the Air Force Academy about three weeks after graduation with fifteen hundred closest friends for four years of what I like to call all basic training the whole four years and wh what kind of experience was free kind of coming out of a small town in Colorado Springs was it. Was It kinda familiar to you you or was it a kind of a brief from drinking from a fire hose. It was drinking from a fire hose the whole time and I will tell you it is a lot of competition titian. Get in the Air Force Academy as you can imagine and when you take fifteen hundred young people that are coming as the top of their class and lock them in in one building on one campus. Guess what happens when fifteen hundred number ones get together. Fourteen hundred ninety nine of them aren't number one anymore so it was demanding both physically and mentally but there was also the challenge of being in college and such a High Level College at such a level of competition and it was a great I mean I say the freshman year there from he is one of the hardest years that I ever went through my childhood because there were so much adaptation to the new way of life and and getting through the Air Force Academy and the competition to be a pilot pilot coming out of there it was just it was an amazing experience that I wouldn't trade for anything in the world but even now after so many years I will admit that I love the Academy Kademi but I hated every day I was there if you know what I mean yeah that that makes a lot of sense the diesel have I know I still have dreams of being in a final exam Zama last sat for you know twenty years ago. Is that the same thing for you so that dream for me. If you remember a final final week we put all our finals in one week and we ate on base because it's a military and so we had a midnight meal that we lovingly called Scooby snacks. If you remember Scooby Doo Scooby always had scooby snacks so at midnight we would go out to get our scooby snacks and and about every night you would hear somebody goes screaming across the patio out there because they had hit that breaking point and somebody he's not getting his scooby snack. Ah Yeah so what was your progression of aircraft flew through training. How did that go so graduation? From the Air Force Academy I I went to pilot training and back then we went to the thirty seven so the tweet now they fly the t six so you do that for about six months I went to Euro NATO joint jet Pilot Training Senate Sheppard Air Force Base which is where we trained fighter pilots so after six months of t thirty seven training you get rank ordered and then you go into the thirty eight where you learned to fly a high speed jet you go supersonic for the first time learn to fly formation those type things and then coming out of the t thirty eight you get rank ordered and we have assignment midnight so you literally walk into a room with all of your instructors and your peers know spouses no friends though anybody they locked the door they walk up on stage and at the time they took a cheat off of a board that had you rank order from first to last and it was right there and start with number one you get up and walk to the board and they have magnets every airplane plane that was available to be picked and you walked up and pick the airplane you wanted. Put it by your name and you can imagine as you went down. The list got smaller and smaller so for me. I I got my first choice. The F fifteen went out of their to introduction to fighter fundamentals which is where we take the t thirty eight put a bomb on a gun side on it and we fight against the other to start getting those basic fighter type skills in and then I went off to the fifteen at Tyndall to the schoolhouse to get qualified in the fifteen then once once you get to your combat unit which was me was the thirty third fighter wing at Eglin Air Force Base. It takes about three months to finish and get certified before you're a combat ready pilot ready to deploy we overseas why so the F fifteen I mean that's a great airplane undefeated champion as we always say What was your first impression? When you get your dream you signed the fifteen? He got on the ramp at some point and you finally see the airplane. You'RE GONNA fly for the first time. What's that feeling like so if we could back it up a little bit because this happened at the Air Force Academy one of the benefits go in the Air Force Academy is we have an assignment one summer for three weeks to go out and shadow a unit and see the real air force? We call it is like for me happened to go to Tyndall Air Force Base so as a senior at the Air Force Academy I was able to get in an F. Fifteen and go fly for the first time before I graduated before I had the assignment before I'd been through pilot training and you can imagine the childhood sparkling is when I walk out and see that beast I it's the size of a tennis court for those that don't know it's about thirteen feet off the ground when you climb up and I'm just sitting there and admiration of this thing and we take off and when we airborne a home i Gosh I hate it. It is brutal it hurts and I landed exhausted. After a forty minute flight a pulling nine Jeez I mean and they didn't take it easy on me. They full up at a normal mission with me and I remember we went back into into the debrief room which has a lot of computers so it's kind of cool and about two minutes. It's in the debrief. I was not enough out of pure exhaustion. I was so tired and my instructor goes a just an incentive right for you. You can go and go if you want to and I left there going. Oh my Gosh Josh is my life's dream and it hurt. My whole body hurts. It's bigger than any workout I ever had and there was that moment of do I really want to do this and that's when I said Yep. This is what I WANNA do so that was my first flight before I went to pilot training.
