"But, um, I tell you what, do you think it's because he's got that butt on the brain? Oh, that's what it is. It ruined it. It ruined it. No, here's, if you guys are in Frankie's Discord, or if you're not, go get in the Discord and demand a video of outtakes from his reading scripts, because I've seen a couple of them. They're top notch. Don't bring your kids in the room, but they're top notch. Love them. Yeah. Love them, love them. All right, next. Oh, man. Brandon, I'm going to read a catch last night. Yeah. Brandon, my buddy plays for Mets. He made a great, it was a diving catch, center field, stretched all the way across. And he's, you know, good for Brandon. He's been playing really well. Now the Mets are unfortunately not doing well for their fans. The Braves actually lost the Mets last night. I went with my friend Brian, and we actually left, because look, I've been waking up early. I've been trying to get home a little earlier. So we left, the score was a six to four. We were losing as we were walking out. And then I think when we got to the top of the steps, I think they had a bases clearing double. And it was like nine to four, I think. And the Braves lost 10 to four last night. Now the Braves are, I wish, well, I don't know if we had a spot for Brandon. I wish Brandon could have came to the Braves. I certainly could play on the team. I mean, he's probably better than our left fielder. No offense to our left fielders. Eddie Rosario and the Pilar of the community, Kevin Pilar. They're pretty good. They're good. Eddie Rosario crushed NLCS MVP a couple years ago. We love Eddie Rosario. I met him in person. Great guy. Brandon was pretty good, too, though. But the fact is the Braves are the best team in baseball by a considerable margin, I believe. Let's pull it up. Let's take a look. Let's take a look at the MLB stats. And guess what, guys? Here's the great news. The great news is that I basically turned off all my travel for the rest of the year, except for one week in November and this week. I'm going to get to actually go to all the playoff games out. And I should miss a single Falcons game this year, which is good because I think we're going to make the playoffs. Let's go to the standings here in MLB. See what's popping here. Orioles are the best team in the American League by a considerable margin at 621. And the Braves are at 645 for the percentage. 80 and 44 versus 77. So we're a few games ahead of them. But in the National League, we are far and away, number one. The Dodgers are number two. But actually, the Dodgers are not too far behind us, really, now that I'm sitting here looking at this. I think they've won like, did they win last night? They won 13 or 14 in a row, I believe. They must have lost one recently because it says they're 9 and 1 in the last 10. Look, I'm not scared of the Dodgers. I think we're a lot better than the Dodgers. I'm not scared. Look, the team I was scared of was the Rays, and they lost their best pitcher for two seasons. He's out coming down surgery. Oh, gosh. Guys, can y'all stop talking about who is one guy asking over and over again? Please don't ask about Cuban again. I don't know anything about it. Just please leave it alone. The Astros are another team I would be a little concerned about, except for, you know, we did put it on them a couple years ago. Put it on them. And, man, Spencer Strider, that is the best pitcher in baseball. Let's really strike out stats in the Major Leagues. MLB strikeout leaders. No, no one career. He'll be on that list, though. Let's see, what? 2023. Here it is. Okay. Look, let's look at the leaders here. Batting average, Acuna is coming at No. 3. Kyle Freeman's beaten him by one. 3.32. I think Freeman or Acuna will catch a rise by the end of the season, and look, wins. Spencer Strider right at the top. Matt Olson No. 1 in home runs. 43. Atani tied him probably last night. We don't have anybody in ERA. That's fine. We score a lot of runs. We give up some runs. Matt Olson crushing it in RBIs. And look at Ozzy Albies. You know, they say Ozzy Albies pound for pound might be the strongest guy in the Major Leagues. He's hit, he's like No. 10 in home runs or something like that. He's on a 10-day ideal right now. He's only like, he's very small. He doesn't look like any of these other guys hitting home runs. That's not phenomenal. Nobody in saves. And look at this. He has 40 more strikeouts than the next guy in the Major Leagues. Not just National League. In the Major Leagues. That's unbelievable. Acuna's got 167 hits. Braves are just crushing it. 56 stolen bases. Man, I tell you what. Did the Braves lose this year? Did the Braves lose this year? It's a choke job. We are—and let's—look, we get an injury. Bad injury. It's okay. But there you go. Oh, well. I don't know why I say that. Banging the trashcan once or the curveball twice for the fastball. Well, I tell you what. I think Frankie Candles is probably a big fan of the— What? You don't know where I'm going with that. Where were I going with that, Tim? It's not about me knowing where you're going. It's the knowing the direction we're going. I don't know the destination exactly. I know the direction. Yeah, you know the direction. I know the direction. Frankie Candles, big fan of the Astros. As we know. It's his favorite team in the Major Leagues. Yeah, well, you know. They're used to banging the trashcan. Frankie Candles comes to town. I don't know. Maybe they were banging something else. I'm not sure. Okay. All right. And we're going to talk about the dark injury scam. I want to talk about this. I'm actually interested in this. What do you mean? I haven't heard this. Okay, so this is called the phantom time hypothesis. Okay. It's like my favorite conspiracy. Okay. And basically what it is is it is where I'm going to put it up here. It's where they say that the dark ages never existed. Okay. Well, it's not a thousand years. It's like 300 years. No, no. A thousand is the special year. The 81,000. So it hypothesized a conspiracy. And look, they say it's disproven, right? Remember what they said about the jab and anything negative you want to say about it? Debunked. Remember what they want to say about the pandemic? Debunked. History is written by the victors. They can say whatever they want. Guys, because someone says debunked, that doesn't mean that it's fake. It means they just found a better way to cover it up. Let's face facts. And I hypothesize a conspiracy by the Holy Roman Emperor, Otto III. Pope Sylvester II and possibly the Byzantine Emperor Constantine VII fabricate the Anno Domini dating system retroactively in order to place them at the special year of 81,000 and to rewrite history to legitimize Otto's claim to the Holy Roman Empire. Now, the dark ages were, I believe, from 600 to 900 is when they were. What are the dark ages? The dark ages are a time in the world where, guess what? Like, literally nothing happened. No technology innovation. Like, the art and the music, they came out of time. If there was any, it was like, what? Nothing happened for 300 years after or before that. Tons of stuff happened. After that, tons of stuff happened. These guys wanted to be, it would kind of be like this. It would be like, listen, listen. I want to be the largest crypto YouTuber with the last Bitcoin in its mind. 2140. So let's do this. Let's go ahead and just make all the Bitcoins right now. But we can't do that because that's not the way it works. But let's put out news articles everywhere that the last Bitcoin was mined. And we'll just say, because people know it's going to happen in 2140, would you convince everyone now it's 2140 today? It doesn't make any sense today, right? No. Why not? Because we're all here. Because we have the internet. Right? We have tons of people writing newspapers. We have all kinds of stuff. People, guess what they couldn't do during this time? You know what people couldn't do in the year 600? They couldn't fact check anything. They couldn't read. They couldn't frickin' read. Oof. That's actually true, guys. I would like to say we're going back to the dark ages, but we just learned today, it never frickin' existed. I like this series. It's my favorite one that I like to play with that's real because it kind of makes sense. Look, guys. I'm not very smart. This is Wikipedia. Now, we could do a full deep dive on the frickin' phantom time hypothesis because I have before. A full deep dive if y'all really want it. If y'all want bit boy conspiracies, you know? I mean, I'm all down with it. I don't know. Might be kind of cool. It might be kind of cool to cover some conspiracies. You like it? I guess so. Here's something that I want to do, Ben. And I know you and I have talked about it. Take over the show. Yeah, that's exactly it. Now, we're going to start a membership. Because I saw someone earlier ask for, like, we missed the behind the scenes of the Office videos. Yeah. We're not going to be able to put those out. I remember talking with other people here. They just said it became harder to create them than what it was worth. But what we're going to do is we're going to start a YouTube membership. So you guys will get green names, stickers, badges, everything else. But we also can start putting some non-crypto content. Just behind the scenes content and also interesting information you want to hear. So I'm thinking we could do something like that. Maybe not on the main channel where we're supposed to keep things serious about crypto. But members would get access to some of those stories and some of those details. That's my thinking. What are your thoughts, Ben? I'm thinking that only some people would have the secret information. Only some people. Now, that sounds like a bit of a crypto conspiracy to me. If you want to know... Conspiracy number one. Now, speaking of conspiracies, here's something I find interesting. I think it's a great idea. And I really think what's really cool is I didn't know about this until right now when you told me about it. So... Guys, I guess this is Tim taking over the show. Oh my gosh. This is cool. Thanks, Tim. It finally happened. He's laughing. I will wipe that smile off your motherchuckin' face, Tim. I will do it. I am not scared. I may strike hard. I might strike fear in the heart of men. But my heart is solid stone. You cannot strike fear in this heart. I think we all know that. Same payment free knows that. Next, Joe is gonna know about it. Joe mama. Joe mama gonna find out. Gonna find out I'm heart of stone. Joe mama. Let's go to the iceberg tomorrow. I'll leave it up. Oh, what? What time? What time? Alright, guys. That's all we got for the show. Be blessed. Nobody wants to watch your crotchet, Tim. I don't know. Good boy out. I don't know.

Atlanta rookie Shuster allows only 1 hit as Braves edge Mariners 3-2 for series win
"The Atlanta Braves behind the stellar pitching of rookie Jared Shuster defeated Seattle three two and gained a series win over the Mariners. Schuster went 6 innings, yielded just one hit, a solo home run to Jared Kellen, walked only one and struck out 7. Braves manager Brian snicker. That's a grind going out there for 6 innings against a team like this and but that was awesome. Trapezo started homered for Atlanta mad Olsen and Eddie Rosario also drove in runs for the braves. George Kirby went 7 for the Mariners giving up 7 hits in the losing cause. Gary mckillop's Atlanta.

"He looks to be primed. He's made a slight swing adjustment if you look at his stance, he no longer holds his bat out forward ahead of him before he gets started with this swing. It's now kind of tilted back, which seems minor, but it looks mighty fluid right now. And I think that with the Freddie Freeman saga behind him with the coming home to Atlanta, getting traded two weeks before three weeks before opening day, all of that behind him. It's a pretty clear path for him. I think to have a great season. I expect even bigger things out of Austin Riley because of what he has shown at times the last two years. Both of those guys could hit 40 homers, Ronald Acuna junior could hit 40 homers, Ozzy obvious was a 30 Homer hitter before his injury last year that kind of sapped him of his usefulness to the braves last year. I posted a tweet about a week ago. The braves got 28 home runs out of Eddie Rosario, Ronald Acuna junior, and Ozzie albies combined last year. That group could easily triple that number this season, and when you look at the braise, maybe not making the biggest splash offensively or signing a big free agent to replace dansby Swanson just by getting those guys back to normal. They may be seeing a big return and they may be seeing one of the best offensive lineups in baseball. I just look at it and there's a lot of reasons to be optimistic about it. You have to temper that with being realistic about injuries and attrition and things that do happen over the course of a season, but there's an awful lot of good hitters, all lined up, seemingly one through 8, at least in the braves lineup, and then Orlando arcia could come in and maybe surprise a few folks. So offensively speaking, I think to praise her in a really good spot. So let's transition to pitching. There are a couple arms who won't be around this year because of Tommy John surgeries. And Tyler. There are also some more nagging interests that some players are dealing with right now and maybe we can talk about those guys. So shoulder issues for rice el Iglesias and Kyle Wright and then you have some muscle strains for Colby allard and Michael, not Mike. Michael siroka. So what is the status of that Quartet when can the braves expect some of their injured arms back? Hopefully sooner than later in the case of all of those men. I don't really have much of an update on Colby allard, who was very excited to rejoin the braves organization, but I don't know if fans were really more excited for a comeback story more so than that of Michael sirocco. I think people were hoping to see it. The hamstring injury, he suffered it the day before he was driving down to report for pitchers and catchers and to get a spring training started. So that was obviously frustrating. I spoke with Michael a little bit when I was down to spring training and he just felt like, hey, this is the temporary setback. And as it happens, he has made his grapefruit league debut. They are going to option him or did option him to triple-A because he's going to need time to make four, 5, maybe more starts to both build his pitch count up, knock off some rust. You got a half a dozen minor league starts last year. I think that's a big part of his comeback as well. So maybe sometime before April's over, if you need him, Michael sirocco's gonna be ready, but for rice hill Iglesias for Kyle Wright, it should be much sooner than that. The braids are hoping right's only going to miss one regular season start. They're gonna open with them on the IL, that opened the door for Dylan Dodd to make the rotation out of spring training. That's been a great story down in northport and Jared Shuster, one of the braves first round picks from back in 2020, he won the fist bot in the rotation over Ian Anderson and over Bryce elder, so it's been a very interesting, I don't know, revolving door or series of musical chairs in the back two spots of the braves rotation, but right should be back soon. Iglesias, they said it was just a very mild or very minor inflammation. They just didn't want to push it too hard here in the first week. Give them the time to let that go down. And then I was looking at an article posted on fan grafts earlier on Monday. Brave seemed to have the number one bullpen in baseball at least by projections. Iglesias is a huge part of that. So they need him healthy and they don't want to push anything in April. You mentioned Dodd and Chester and I wanted to ask about them for brave students who are less familiar with their game. What can be expected from them because I think you're right they really did open eyes this spring. They did. And the biggest thing I think that they were doing that was not happening with specifically Ian Anderson and to a lesser extent Bryce elder was that they were attacking the strike zone. I mean, Jared Shuster and Dylan Dodd both. They worked quick. They threw strikes. They've got great stuff. I think for Schuster, it's a really good change up and then the fastball can play there in the mid to low 90s, at least for the majority of it. And I think he's got an effective breaking ball, so he's got the arsenal that you need. And first round picks, like we said, they're going to find their way to the majors, but I think this is a well earned opportunity for him. Dylan Dodd came a little bit as a surprise. I was on the backfields and Dylan Dodd was working on or working against major league hitters. And there was a group that included Ronald Acuna junior and as I was walking up and I was hearing some of the players leaving a couple of the braves minor league pitchers were like, yeah, they've got dot out there. He just struck out the side on like ten or 11 pitches or something like that. And Ronald Acuna junior was hit in that group. So if you're out there striking out some of the big league regulars, you're going to open some eyes. And then that's exactly what he did and grapefruit league play. He's had maybe a couple of hiccups, but not much to speak of. And again, the strike throwing mid 90s works quick and just exactly what the braves wanted to see out of him was coming and be competitive. They just didn't get that. I think Ian Anderson, who was still looking to make mechanical adjustments and to a lesser extent Bryce elder, I think he just kind of got pushed out because Don and Schuster were so impressive. And the braids are going to give opportunity. And I think that those are two guys that could really shine for them and pitch them important innings early in the year. And you're going to see Jared Schuster in the first series and you're going to see Dylan Dodd in the second series of the season. So the braves are really given these two kids the chance to step in and step up. So as you noted, the best projected bullpen in baseball, some holdovers here, but also some new additions. Joe Jimenez is here and Nick Anderson and Lucas lutke, et cetera so how do you expect this group to shape up, I guess, in Iglesias is absence and then hopefully when he returns. I think we see AJ mentor get the opportunity to close, but he was the praise best reliever last year, and part of I think what made him so good is you could employ him in the 7th inning and the 8th inning or the 8th inning or the 9th inning if you wanted to, but to braise did have guys closing so he didn't have to use AJ that way. And I think that's the role he'll return to once they get Iglesias back in and slotted a closer. Another name on top of those new additions that you mentioned to keep in mind is the brace of Kirby Yates who did throw some innings for him last year, but was a big time closer in 2019 for the Padres. He had to go through a second Tommy John. He's looked good, the splitter, the velocity is also there for him. He could be a name to keep in mind for some important leverage innings and outs for the braves in 2023. And then

They got what else did they person. So they so Larry, yeah, so lair. An all guys who were underachieving on bad teams who were historically solid baseball players that would benefit from a change of scenery and benefit from being protected in the lineup. And instead the Yankees were like, no, we're just gonna go get star players that aren't entirely essential for what we need in this operation. They sour the relationship with Luke void as a result. Joey Gallo, the worst two months of his life and now nobody really wants him here. And it was just an unneed acquisition because he doesn't make contact with his bat. We need him to play left field. That was the position he was least experience with. A lot of problems, Yankees could learn from the braves because the braves were certainly treading water at that point and they made marginal moves that they felt would fit the design of their team and fill in the gaps where they weren't as dynamic. And that's exactly what happened. And now they're leading the NLCS against the Dodgers. So figure it out, man. Is there some major Ewing theory potential with running could you junior? Is that worth asking? We're gonna take a quick break. The braves might already have blown the NLCS, but it is a good point..

He's playing almost every day on his rehab assignment at aaa gwen it. So it looks like he could be back in the show here and just a couple of days. So let's wrap up segment number two with some surprising league leaders usually look at stats and standings here on mondays episodes. Well i wanted to condense this a little bit since. I'm going to take up the last two episodes talking about the standings as well as each team in general here so major league baseball most surprising league leaders when it comes to pitching you gotta go with the winds kyle. Kendricks has fourteen wins for a team. That's fifteen games under five hundred. Your league leader in wins is coming from a sub five hundred team which is pretty crazy to think about you. Also have austin adams who leads major league. Baseball in hits by pitches with sixteen so adams had trouble controlling the ball. Offensively the most pickoffs goes to ryan weathers of the padres. He's got eight pickoffs this year. He's only thrown seventy eight innings. So that's that's a lot for that little a dime there and then you also have some hitting stats here. Caught stealing in the national league jazz. Chisolm junior the marlins leads the league with seven for the national league but the surprises in the american league which shohei ohtani. He's been caught eight times this year. He does have eighteen steals but otani eight times is also very high when it comes to getting hit by a pitch. Jonathan indie of the reds leads the national league with eighteen this season and in the american league you have mark cannot of the oakland a.'s with twenty two. So he's at the top of the list and then your leader in sacrifice bunches adam wainwright of the cardinals with twelve. So the pitcher is usually lead that that category but wainwright at the top of the list as he's been impressive with twelve so one other thing to talk about the baltimore. Orioles lost their eighteenth consecutive game on sunday. Now is that the longest single season losing streak of the past sixty years. Actually there's a few teams ahead of them now. They're creeping up here on the list because it's eighteen and county but ahead of them. You have the two thousand five. Kansas city royals who lost nine thousand nine straight games. The nineteen seventy-five tigers also lost one thousand nine in a row that season. The one thousand nine hundred sixty nine montreal expos had twenty losses. Consecutively the nineteen eighty. Eight baltimore orioles. So that's not even a franchise record for baltimore as the eighty-eight orioles lost twenty one consecutive times. But you're all time leader. The nine thousand nine hundred sixty one philadelphia phillies with twenty three straight losses. That season so baltimore would have to get swept to additional times in order to have that record of twenty three consecutive losses. So matt just a tough three weeks there in baltimore orioles fans what are listening. I appreciate you guys hanging in there. Because i know i'd be on the football season and talking about the baltimore ravens if i were you guys so that does it for segment number two here of the gsm see baseball. Podcast brought to you. "All right now that I look at interest, and I think the phone call was actually testing sure, And now he's back in the major leagues, which is all he's getting the call, which is actually a big deal, and if I had known this 15 minutes ago, we could've package this all as Brewers middle infield, which we could do anyway, listening to the show, anyway, people But your is back. So you know, kissing sure was a top 75 picked up 50 and so a lot of leagues Before this season, people expected him to have 30 home runs and that like 300. And he was adding first base eligibility. Now the Brewers are playing. I think Blake Snell tonight a lefty, and maybe they're facing other lefties this week, and that's why they're doing it. And you're obviously hit a triple eight. Nashville There was never a question about that. 4 38 with a 14 32 0, P s and three home runs, but we can't forget what he did with the Brewers won 52 batting average one home run a lot of strikeouts. We forget these were people here has got stuff going on his personal life from a fantasy baseball angle, Cassie. Sure it needs to be rostered in all week. Because of what we saw from him the past couple seasons. Correct. We're now all leagues. I Yeah, Probably. I hasn't just because he did still show the swing and miss in Triple A, And that's really been the limitation for him. But you're right. It's a good stretch of schedule. They do get four lefties over the next nine days. They're also gonna get Lester Corbin and Matthew Boyd. So it is. Yeah, it is a bit of an opportunity for him in the short term, and here's hoping that he does it right away. I mean, produces the numbers we expect in the preseason still is a good amount of pop. So what you thought about CASS Secura Say two months ago. Do you still think it here is roster and 42% of ESPN standard leagues, which I think is is reason reasonable based on the fact that he was the motive few weeks ago, But based on what we thought about him, do we do we still believe this is a guy with top 50 overall fantasy upside. You still believe that? So that's the thing I was never there. I'm that concerned about the strikeout rate he showed in the major leagues so far, but I also don't think he was far outside of that. And if we're gonna look at him as a more of a borderline top 100 guy on the high end, or at least the reasonably optimistic side, I think we're being fair Top 50. Don't feel like top. 50 was in the equation this year, and I don't know for sure. Do you have 100 tops? All right, so I could see he was. People were taking him over. Dominic Smith. Okay. Another bone and Bryan Hayes and Eddie Rosario and all these guys. Everybody loved testing. Jura. Yes, we're concerned about strike. Everybody loved Cassie. You, Adam, ranked in the top hunter. Let's not go crazy here again. I know. You know, we discussed him. I think if you read catching your in your top 100, maybe the word love is an accurate You liked him enough to have me 500? Yes, He's got great potential, but he's got to make more contact. That's all it is. And once he does that, I think that there is start among the horizon..
