He's going to join me to discuss everything that's happened over the last few days as it relates to AJ and Dillion White. But I want to weigh in on this myself before we get to Corey and to Eddie. First fight for Matchroom for Berlanga takes on Jason Quigley at the theater at Mad Square Garden. It's a fight you can watch on the zone. I've been thinking about this, Eddie, the last couple of days. What would you, what is success for Edgar Berlanga on Saturday night? Only a statement. Only a knockout. You know, we saw last week with Regis, a tremendous amount of hype, fighting in your hometown. He even admitted to the pressure after the fight. So it was disappointing. Zorilla didn't help. But really, the truth is, if we're going to talk about Canelo, if we're going to talk about Mungir, if we're going to talk about Golovkin, he's got to be making a statement against Jason Quigley. Quigley is a world class fighter, not a champion, not elite, but has been there, has mixed it. And what I like about the fight is there's a lot of people in boxing that feel that the hype is not real against Edgar Berlanga. They know the star quality, they know the ticket sales, they know the atmosphere, but is he actually any good?

Well i think we saw to eddie like tyson. Fury fights a big man. He uses every pound every inch of frame to his advantage. Whether it's leaning on you or whatever. Aj for all of his great qualities never really fights like a big man. Like like middleweight. With wow he's he's active. He's looking for throw combinations. Is that something that can change. Needs to change. Think paul the frustrating thing was. There was paul vincent yoshua. The people told him he couldn't outbox alexandru sick and he believed he could bad bad. "You know boring fights you know are going to go to more fleet-footed fighter and You know maybe Anthony joshua has a great game. Plan up his sleeves I think that he would need to have a great game. Plan implemented very very well with this type of fight. I think that you know heavyweights as a heavyweight fight. We liked to well. They like to get go through adversity. you know get knocked down and you know Go through something. They can triumph over To you know be outboxed in you know kind of touched up a little bit not really hurt. You know i could see that you're not gonna really hurt joshua but just hit him enough to get the rounds in in in win Is gonna be very hard even for the rematch to work on something to To beat that. You know what i'm saying so i think that this is a real any anthony joshua does beat 'em This is going to be a new thing to regain that you're gonna see you're gonna have to see a lot of new things that you haven't seen before A lot of Different maybe mindsets or or a Skills you know setting him up in certain types of ways. I was doing my own business when it came to the purse bid It didn't really have to take come to the purse bid they're supposed to negotiate with me You know go negotiating. I wouldn't have much of time much of a choice to pick and it was gonna go to participate and obviously you know me being a not having any back. You're not being under a promotion. "Spiders have with their personal coaches. I just remember in. Rio is relatively quiet in some of the During some of those usa boxing matches. And you could hear. The personal coaches like screaming instructions between rounds while the usa. Boxing coach was doing his own thing. And i would imagine that if a fighter can hear his personal coach he is likely to be listening to that guy or men or woman than he is the coach standing right in front of we. Frankly probably doesn't know all that. Well sometimes they you know that's how they plan they plan to set it up like that. Don't listen to the guy in the corner in. It's very hard situation. I think they should need to To figure out. What's the best way to compete. You know. I think that that's been a problem for. Usa bikes require some time And they haven't quite got it down i. I don't know about the last couple of years coming up but it seemed to be a problem quite for quite some time being before my my olympic year. So yeah i would agree all right so you are now in a pretty good position and good for you because a couple of years ago a year and a half ago. I wasn't sure what was going to happen to you. Take me back to the last year and a half or so. You are in saudi arabia. You fight alexander perfection and then afterwards you get released by match room and and what are you thinking then i was okay with it You know i've i've been. I've been let go before you know. No men finished with with medals during that period. When you look back at your olympic boxing experience. How do you view it. Wasn't you know it wasn't a good one You know you have to deal with a lot. You know like said this like there's a lot of things going on you know we train our whole lives for this very short window and Is very political as well so You know it's it's not the is probably one of the hardest things to do is to compete in the olympics in and You know come out with the With was a grand. You know a lot of things going up a leading up into tours the olympics so it's very difficult In a pretty short. It's it's like that for all different. Sports in everybody has their own political situations. What would you say. Probably hard to characterize in a short amount of time. That was a team with a lot of talent.
