So this is why it's such a big deal a big thing in jiu-jitsu the classic like the old school jiu-jitsu people are like the Gracie family. They're so against it. Drugs, not good for you. Then there's a new school where jiu-jitsu is kind of like at a surf culture where they smoke weed and they create new moves and some of them say it helps with their creativity. So they did this whole tournament where they would smoke weed and then roll. And I've never done that. I never did this. When I did jiu-jitsu never did that. But I have talked to guys and they say that, oh yeah, that's great. You smoke weed, and then you get you're better with your creativity and your flow on the ground. I mean, I feel like it's one of those sports where kind of being like it's probably probably one of the biggest mistakes I assume I have no idea I've never done this too, but I would think like a guy like me who doesn't know better probably the number one mistake I would probably make and most people like me is I would try and use my strengths. I would tense up and I would try and like muscle everything. That's one of those sports of you're using there for some counter. And so kind of relaxing in a very tense situation. There's gotta be like a threshold to that though too. If you go too much weed and you get paranoid there's always two choked out. That sounds horrible. Or so if you guys have never done it before or grappled that way, if there's a big, you're a big dude, Justin. So if you go on a tournament, you're going against a guy that's your size. And you got a big guy who's, you know, holding it down inside mount or north south, so north south is literally there's a lot of physicality..

So for people who don't know the Eddie bravo thing is and it goes into overtime, you get a dominant position on a person and you get to yeah basically put them in a cradle, this is the rest of the equivalent. But you take their back. Maybe wrestling armbar. And I don't think that's very fair, because if someone whips your ass, they whip your ass and you know, and so I think the reason why jiu-jitsu people accept that rule set is that I don't think I think they know this, but would admit it. I don't think they're point scoring system. Adequately rewards what people value. So like in wrestling, with value takedowns, 'cause it gets closer to the pin and the most valuable scoring is a nearfall near to the pin because that's the ultimate goal of the sport. Whereas in jiu-jitsu, for example, like if I were to get a takedown, so like if I went to Gordon Ryan and he just didn't pull guard, I would probably get the takedown. Now if somehow he didn't submit me, which he probably would, right? But say he got close to like 12 submissions, but somehow I slipped out of all of them. Now I went to zero like that's ridiculous. Like he should very clearly win because he almost submitted. You know what I'm saying? And I realized it difficulty. I realized the difficulty in rewarding near submissions, but that is the most valuable thing is getting close to finishing the match. And in most competitions, they don't actually reward them. But okay, so this isn't about the sport. This is about the Ben Askren challenge that we're talking about. Why 30 minutes? Why not unlimited time? Why go until whenever? Well, because that is just a cardio thing because at some point, does someone just have to follow her dead? There's no more skill level involved. It's just who stand up the longest. If you don't think i was blown away fucking impressed you got nothing common. I was blown away. I'm like where did this come from all the trees acting clown. I'm exaggerating. Good acting class for three years. I went back to acting classify. Five months the fucking five months acting classes. Plus yeah if you look at my db there's fifty fucking movies on that. Because what. I didn't learn shit those fucking movies. I'm lying there. I learned shit on all the fucking college movies. I did which you guys will never see and never get to see. I must have done twenty five college fucking films and guess what. All of them sucked. I don't have a real from that one of them. How many short films that i do. I had to be fucking twenty twenty thirty short films near those rails i have. I don't want nobody to see that shit. That shit was terrible. But i wasn't a process of learning and i didn't even fucking know it. I was frustrated but there was no reason to get frustrated. I was gaining experience. How i picked up all those things just hanging out with you guys all those years and then watching you go into the store and watching any was always at the fucking store those years just watching and watching and you know it. It's it's i never even thought about you. Know i never even thought about it. It's like me getting a job at a fight. It's like when i worked at my mother's bar you know when i was a kid. It wasn't an official job. Wasn't like i had a beat eh. From three to nine. I would go in and no kids around. I would do some fucking work. But while i was there.
