"Be a little bit more harder to run against alabama look alabama just continued to dominate man. Just especially on offense. You take remember when we were speaking about nick sabin in the cloud dust. Nick saban running and ball control and system. Quarterbacks will set the start of the twentieth eighteen season since the start of the twenty eight team season. Alabama has scored at least thirty one points in forty of forty three twelve of their last fifteen in two thousand eighteen and have gone on a twenty eight day street of scoring at least thirty points per game. And you're looking at bryce young now. Through the first two games completing seventy one percent of his passes seven touchdown only two sacks gotten alabama on the scoreboard on fourteen of nineteen drives. Are you kidding me. are you serious. Twelve sixteen for two hundred yards and five. Td's against blitzes. Thus far alabama looks incredibly good alabama. Looks awesomely good alabama. Looks like As i mentioned before head shoulders above everybody else. So and i don't know exactly how florida's going to contend with this. I don't know a florida has the makeup. I don't know. Florida has the game plan and the low florida can do anything in terms of keeping the ball away from alabama l. Even know a florida even add offense to even scored twenty one twenty four twenty eight point because now alabama squad on defense. That had been the best in nick. Sabin tenure for a long time at alabama so will see windows rolled in sports. I'm your host one wallace. Glad that you could be with us. All burn rate twenty second. The country at number ten penn state. How good is auburn after beating akron and of course alabama state by combine one hundred and twenty two point. Ten one twenty two to ten. They've gained one thousand one hundred fifty one yards. They've only allowed three hundred sixty four bo. Nixon look by edano price shown completing seventy four percent of his passes Darkwa hunter and tank bisbee combined to average twelve yards per carry. The defense has already gotten tackles for losses. How are they gonna play in front of one hundred and ten thousand people happy valley with the white house that will remain to be seen but again something tells me that. They're not going to be able to do what they did. Against akron. an alabama state the penn state has already up. You know played a really tough game on the road against wisconsin. So they're going to be ready so they've already been challenged. Alma was going to be happening with Allburn i think the pressure really be on penn. State all breaking in a new coach as a bitch before ranked twenty second. They're playing in the same division as alabama. So that's not going to be going anywhere and going anywhere fast. So i think all the pressure is going to be on penn state of all bringing go on the road penn state in front of one hundred and ten thousand people and get that win. It'll say a lot about where the program is going at. Far the upward. Mobility and the positivity it's concerned but I think penn state is gonna go ahead and do a number on them and then we have the preska. at oklahoma..

"I mean. doesn't it feel like forever ago when this dude was the assistant coach and the golden state warriors and they went thirty nine and four because he was the interim head coach at the start of the season. And you know. He's like the sexiest assistant in line to get a head coaching job elsewhere. And then he gets hired by the lakers. Like doesn't that feel so well. Did he win. Like twenty five straight games to start the season and it was like the single greatest coaching performance of all time. Yeah that's that's a bazillion years ago When i look at luke walton since like heated. Basically nothing in la. Unfortunately i mean it was a tough tough rosters. It turns out that steph curry and buddy hield are not the same quality of player. That's very true But the thing about what he did in sacramento last season. I mean i just don't know what it's really difficult to kind of define what matters to him. I mean they go from the super exciting team. Under dave yeager. Third and pace offense is humming. They've got one of the fastest point guards in the league and they're really accentuating their style because of him and then Luke walton becomes the head coach and they go to nineteenth in pace and was really funny is that he tried to make that adjustment because he wanted you know. He didn't want them to skip steps. He wanted everyone to kind of understand the fundamentals and what he wanted to preach on the defensive end they were nineteen hundred dave yeager in defensive rating. Guess what they were under. Luke walton in. His first season probably twentieth. They were nineteen okay. So there's there's absolutely no improvement on what he's trying to preach. I know that there were some injuries. Marvin bagley is just It's getting kinda sad. And i'm really excited to see him healthy this season but i mean like i don't see a reason to keep him around here. I don't know if he's a good coach. I don't know if he's a bad coach. I would like him to kind of embrace. Just the sensibilities of the roster play faster and make everybody edano play like up an exciting brand of basketball but at the same time there's no expectations in sacramento like they cannot. No one thinks that they're actually going to make the playoffs. So i i can't see them all at the same time. I can't see them firing him in the middle of the season. Well that's that's the problem. No because i think external expectations are like look. The kings are going to be twelve to fifteen just like every year. They don't have enough talent..

I would call it if you were to read. If you were to pick up your first book of mine. I would say the the best one would probably be the simple wild dots. That's a kind of a contemporary art romance. Women's fiction blends and that has that's been been exciting but for me and i've actually written a second one the sequel which came out in the cold wild at heart which i haven't read yet but i will. Find out more details at TC pride that. And now ladies and gentlemen, apposite to you. Nori. Hey, julie. We actually that pride parade starts at ten o'clock on Sunday for people everything I very fond memories of my two years in a row that I got to ride with the dike son bikes, and they do they, they, they kick off the prayed. The first is the first thing to go the motorcycles, and it was so much fun. And it was the first year we were on the air, every member that and again, I'll. I can't think of her first, she's sheriff hadn't been county, and she invited me to ride with the with the ladies, and then I remember we decorated a Jean jacket. F- FM one. Oh, seven and, you know, like vote rate, we sparkled it up, and it was super fun. But yet, you're, you're boom. And everyone is so excited to see that were very are. Oh, we are twenty two or three. So this is unusual because last year there was a delay because there is the horses. No, there was protests. And so they were laying down, you know, it was a civil protest will ever all the parade people, you know, if you're in, if you're in it, you're just like, okay, whatever, you know, you'll get down there, eventually and I remember that we were right behind the horses. Edano was the Wells Fargo wagon, or whatever it was. They were having a hard time going around in circles and circles horses, don't like to wait and parades. No. They don't. They don't like to take the paw. No. And that's why they get the motorcycles going to because they'd be overheated. Yes. You gotta get. Yeah. Okay. So I guess I did not realize that the New York Times have had this journalist who pretty much does celebrity in-depth profiles, yet, I've just have paid attention to who's been doing it and the same person has done her her name. Name is taffy brought s or actor case she works for the New York Times is the one that Madonna didn't like. No, no. That's okay. She did the profile on Tom hilson which, like rectus forever for him member that, where he member when he said all the stuff about we just like we lost our, our lust for. No, I lost it. Yeah. We lost it was after the Taylor swift thing. And he gave this kind of really pathetic interview to the New York Times. No, I think when we lost it was when he accepted his Sehgal ward. And but this time hit will still came on the heels of the break up of with that, because that word show was even passed that he just kept doing it anyway. She's got a novel her first novel. Anyway, she is giving interviews. And what the thing that everyone wants to name again. Her name is taffy broad Esser act. I'm just going to say Tilson. All right. Taffy? The novel is fly Fleishman is in trouble, and she's well known because anyone who does gossip stuff. We've people have used her stories because she did the G Q profile of Tom Higginson. That's what it was for G Q. And then. And she did a. A profile Bradley Cooper that people said, did more to ruin and hurt a star is born because he was so dour and sour in this interview and people said, oh, yeah. That was remember that I remember that thing, the Askar. Yes, he did. And we're like what kind of strategies this will she is then she's the one who did the epoch profile of Gwyneth Paltrow New York Times magazine, and the whole goop thing. Okay. And which spilled so much t- about true motivations for goop, and blah, blah, blah. And so he is just being asked about all these different interviews now. Okay. And so. She was asked about the Gwyneth Paltrow. What was the most surprising thing about because she spent time with her about spending time with Quinn? Yeah. And she said. Petro liked the piece she posted on Instagram, Instagram. And she thought it was very flattering, but they asked this tad taffy didn't she flinch at the paragraphs detailing goups lack of fact checking? Right. And she was like, oh my God. No, she was like you bet. We don't do fact checking. It's part of our revolution. What's that? Don't you always and don't always find that the thing you're horrified to ask is the thing that people really stand by? And so, she said that really surprised me that she openly admitted that all her pseudoscientific self that she promotes for wellness steaming are vaj, the eggs, the, you know, all these, there's absolutely she. Yeah. No, we, we don't fact check it. And she pays settlement. He's proud of it. Okay. I want to say part of the revolution that you can just put whatever out there because you're seeing people buy it. That's I think the revolution from the price it a lot of money exclusive. Yeah. So she said that, and then the second thing that Jaffe said about doing the taffy, we had a dart, I would be the name. I don't hear a lot that it's an old fashioning taffy used to hang out, but I love taffy. Yeah. She said she didn't anticipate what it would do their own psychology. She called. It was like having Stockholm syndrome. She said, there is the time in the middle when Griffith became scared of me and my intentions and. And after having gotten along swell made me so angry. But the anger was an embarrassment that, oh I thought we were getting along. I mean, awful, I never hated her. I really liked her. I thought you know, she was just so talented. But I did kind of mistake myself for like we were better friends than we were. Oh oh, yeah. So she said, you know, interesting so. Oh, and then she says she was asked to people meeting new taffy for the New York Times were people mad that you were more critical. And she said, no, she said, I I the thing I tried to sit was about how I felt about it was about how I felt about myself in her reflection. That was the issue. And so, yeah, I know she said, I've never been happier neat in have your idol that I've never been happier to be done with the story to go back to being an average person as opposed to the least graceful person in the. Room, the least successful person in the room. And so that was I'm a successful person, but next to her, and she just kinda trailed off. And she said, even how Gwenda stood was like a rebuke to how I couldn't I wasn't standing right? So she doted Johnson did break up with Chris Burton. She does not want ever relationship with Gwyneth Paltrow. That's just kind of an interesting thing, isn't it reporter realizing that she's less than though she had her that much. And when she asked Pelter, how she managed to keep her back so straight like you think so she never considered it. And then I was even more upset. Okay. All right. So I'm gonna follow what this with this absolute new random thought that I told you was going to happen is happening..

I can lend my trusted advice to one triple eight eight to five fifty to fifty four. The way to join us once again, that toll-free numbers, one triple eight, eight to five fifty to fifty four and before we go back to all of your phone calls, this show, some interesting items that crossed my desk in screen that you need to know about I, which is, you know, we always talk a lot about scams because. Well, there, always seems to be like a new one that's in the midst and this one that I'm about to tell you about is, especially frightening is making the rounds on Facebook. It starts out the same as some other popular cons. Let's say someone you know, someone you don't know rather context, shoots. Facebook messenger was sob story, they need some money, or maybe it's a romantic interest, you, but the bottom line, there's they also want some money once these crooks managed to trick you into sending money. That's just the beginning of this scam because after that you're going to get a phone call from someone else claiming to be from the US government spoof, number and all saying that you fell for a scam. And you just sent money to ISIS now you're already reeling in for being told you scam into funding terrorism. So you're not thinking, hey, this isn't a real government aged your head spinning, and they're threatening you is prison. And they're telling you to contact a lawyer. Here's where the next part comes you, call the lawyer, which they so kindly provided the number in the lawyer wants a retainer fee of front usually a couple of thousand bucks. It's become such a problem. This department of homeland security sent out a warning about this scam. We've got a lot of details, including tips on how to avoid being duped by fake ISIS and other scumbags over at commander dot com says real law enforcement will never ask you for money directly over the phone, and the thing is ISIS probably won't either it goes without saying that you shouldn't believe everything that you see, on the internet. Right. But let's talk about you to misleading videos conspiracy theories about the moon landing nine eleven you know, crazy. Well, now they've got more videos to remove after a recent report by business insider, these videos, say we've been missing out on a miracle cure all along. All you have to do is drink bleach. What one of these so-called cures has been around for a few years is called miracle mineral solution or MS it's just chlorine breach, but on YouTube, the guy behind it swears it kills most of the diseases of mankind. He also says that he's an archbishop. Not sure about the disease, but it has been known to kill people or make you extremely ill, nausea vomiting dehydration. But you've got some people think it's a cure whatever's wrong with them even a few parents using MS to try to cure their autistic children. Okay. So YouTube, apparently pulling some of these videos, and channels promoting MS while the promoters standby but it sounds like they really need. Something more productive to do. I mean, look at other videos about the earth being lacked. I don't drinking bleach sounds like a really bad idea around the next time your kids, say, oh, mommy, daddy, buy me dog show, them, this video of group of Stanford, students in the school's robotics club built a robotic dog names, Stanford dog. What was it? I'm sorry. You got it. We don't say what struck. Okay, I get him confused with the former television executive from the seventies Brandon target off target. So anyway, Brandon Straka he's the guy who set up a a thing called walk away, which was I guess an attempt to influence the midterm elections. And if it if it did influence, the midterm elections like I told him to his face if I was the the head of the Democratic Party. I would pay him to do it again. Because it was not only not successful. "The site was launched last year by Copenhagen-based entrepreneurs, Christian snow Anderson and Martin cloud and has already gone at fans around the world today. Christiane and Martin are hits. Tell us how they came up with the idea for a donor. I mean, Christian didn't know each other, but studying at the Royal Academy of arts in Copenhagen. I often found that my fellow students were going to the city's big companies to work instead of going and practice there all designs and their own ambitions. That idea is kind of adorno started for me. Then I met Christian who also found that design was kind of Mona ties and standardized in the way we saw it in the streets and we both wanted to make it possible for these individuals to practice their own ambitions and capitalize on their own talents. I read a book about how to start at that company and wrote a business plan, and then we took it from there based on the business plan. We developed like our first website, and then we start to communicate with the different stakeholders to this company that we wanted to develop such as traitors such as designers and we went on journeys to South America to the US different places in Europe to investigate if what we felt and what we saw was also real to the ones that we want to. And from there we started looking into how we wanted to develop the digital platform of Edano international design collaboration. And here luckily marching is very good and and has been taking care of that very good with some talented back in developers. Building digital platform has been quite a long process because in the beginning we didn't know their industry that will we thought we did, but going out there, we figure out that we had to suit this in a completely different way. The fact about suiting a platform for these kind of design pieces which is unique and limited. There needs to be some restrictions and regulations and not just, you know, you need to to really fit the needs of the designers. We thought that we will start out, you know, only digital as digital truly to gallery, but working with like freedom mentioned objects materials. You also need to be kind of physical sometimes, and that's when we started doing actual exhibitions. Now we're doing what we can to kind of eliminate the gap between the digital and physical world to make it possible for buyers and design lowers to explore to sign as good as possible online, but also. You know, go and see them in real life..

"Is these guys end up stupid rich, no matter what, right. Like the money is so big that the idea of turning down the biggest contract is not the deterrent that it used to be because you end up making money no matter what, which do have I. A situation or if my son was in a situation, he wasn't happy where he was. I'd say, you know what? If someone's often you want fifty foot five make it happen. You take note, don't take the money now and then after you sign maybe a year from now you can say, look, I, I would like to get traded the. That's what you do. The take the money now. And if you unhappy, then you could sorta work your way into getting out of the market and we being lazy nature to do that. I'm not talking about. He would have just saying, if some of you. Situation, one your said, if if his son was unhappy, I know the reason I asked that is just because it doesn't seem like any of your kids, frankly, would want to be the guy that looks to force himself out of a salvation. Adapt in clay was playing in Oklahoma City. If he's playing and Sacramento, he'd be happy. You know, he just a low key kind of guy, but I'm gonna say if he was a message or any athletes in a situation, Al man, I hate it. He I don't wanna be here, but yet they offered me one fifty for five years. I'd say, take the money now and then we can work out a trade later. So forty one and a half wins nine seed. And again, didn't know he's off season grade for the Lakers from Bleacher report, c. and everything. Edano talking about your negative, you're a pessimist. What are you projecting for the lakes? Yes. Yes. I, I did. What I like. You know your culture like, oh, it's all this guy is fully. Wow, wow. You went there. Me that let's grab Chris from LA. He want to chime in about someone turning down, big bucks. I know where to find out what his call in LA. How are you? Man. Good morning. Gentlemen, a Mike, didn't the white Howard turn down, big money and leave LA. He didn't want to stay in this market, but he knew he was going to get top dollar like, where do you go to Houston? Houston, he was gonna get the same money. Yeah, that's a good. That's a good point. You're right. He decided to, well, we'll wait a minute and it's not like he left money on the table though. That's what I'm talking about on the t. did yes. No, not not really because you make more money playing Texas with no state taxes. And now you're gonna say that it's the fact that Houston uses that as a as a as a recruiting tool. Right? But I mean, but the point being though he had a, he had a larger contract here, the late with the Lakers because you can get the extra year. The Lakers had the bird rights and he ended up. He left money on the table as far as his contract to end up joining joining the de'andre Jordan of did that with the clippers. He's gonna make twenty four here, but in Dallas, he's making twenty two something, but they said it all works out because he's actually making more dot living in anyone because the taxes, but also to just the the mu-. Money is so big. It's not like you're choosing between a hundred twenty million and six million. Yeah, see but I was mostly talking about let's say a guy who's offered say twenty five million bucks. He and he says, you know what? I'll play. No, I'm gonna turn that down. I'm gonna play for my four million bucks. I'm I'm supposed to make next year that kind of deal. Nobody's ever turn that down. All right. Coming up. I'm gonna explain what Kevin pelton is missing. Explain what grant Hughes from Bleacher report is missing when they make these evaluations? See for the offseason forty one hand when you wanna hit your projections, how many wins? I said fifty five Ricky's at fifty. Eight fifty eight. I didn't my projection seating seatings well, ESPN LA that's a. There's nobody to minute. This is Ingeborg Humperdinck right? What is not? No. Wait a minute. Is this Tom, Joe. Jenny Jones. Do you even know who Engelbert Humperdinck isky, Tom Jones. I don't listen to this type of music buddy. Really moments. Wait a minute..
