"Because you you need seasoning as an actual coach I ed right I got I got well seasons let me I got three championships coaches flag football my son and I realized the Buffalo Shirt I realized coaching in buffalo and they do that takes ninety hours a week take me and my crew maybe sixty or seventy some of these organizations you know there's a reason why some of them don't most of them haven't gotten to that stage where you see them making the playoffs year after year for even five years later you know you got guys that have been in the playoffs ten twenty years crazy you know what really going on so they need somebody like myself in these organizations you know who know football you know not just on the field but off the field as well you know there's a reason why was known as the leader on and off the field you know of course that stuff I would need to learn you know was in the booth for ESPN and now he's in the AL CS And you're seeing in basketball some guys just get a Gig when they're done playing sometimes just strolling into head coaching gigs right Steve Kerr right Juwan Howard my head coach at Michigan was wasn't assistant for many many years but I'm just one I like it just seems in football that the they'll never seemingly just take a player and just a pro football hall of fame player just throw on the sideline as an h c you know but I'm outspoken guy been outspoken always did you know and always said NFL reflection about country so there you have it you know the reason why they don't do certain things that's the reason why when I was in buffalo certain coaches who names I won't say looked at me the player and not a coach was very disrespectful you know it was very disheartening when I'm coaching better than you are you know you you teach him by the Book I can I've been through what they call the Gauntlet I've been around these coaches I sat in coaches meetings on Mondays and Tuesdays I got coaches that can vouch for that you know I got coaches that can vouch for that you know so I'm not I'm not really concerned about not having certain time you know with with the Ridge of of Brady and Belichick game planning just for you knowing what you've done XS and Os wise and what you're capable of doing least I know that that's for me go to podcast one dot com slash survey answers questions and potentially make some money along the way from all of us here at podcast one thank you for being a dedicated listener.

"Where do you stand on computerized strikes. It just feels caen as if some of the humanity hasn't led out of the game. Here's dan patrick power on this tuesday dan and the danettes dan patrick show oh fun i our chopped it up a lot of topics there rickie fowler will join us coming up a little bit freshly minted hall of famer ed reed will stop by and we'll talk ought to steve kerr golden state warriors head coach. I wonder if steve thought anything about this. When he started his coaching career that he was going to be he could be a hall of famer not by the way he played but by being a coach steve kerr's going into the basketball hall of fame he has to you know he had a long career one of the more accurate three point shooters in the history of the sport but he was just a nice complimentary player now he's going into the basketball hall of fame poll question should make love and what do you have for me so i put up if you were player. Would you want to be on hard knocks right now. Fifty eight percent say yes odd start with. We have some other options to yeah yeah. Let me here okay. We were debating before the show. <hes> who's the best defensive back in the last thirty years. Let's say in the modern era really modern nira and it's really hard to answer. Some of the choices would be obviously read who end in the hall of fame. <hes> this year dion sanders ronnie lott darryl green rod woodson send charles woodson champ bailey durell rivas or the top eight. I got one guy who stands out to me. I think there's an answer well. We're talking defensive backs. It's different to be a safety as opposed to a corner right. You can get away from a defensive back. It's hard to get away from a safety like they'd. They'd just roam and ed reed. I think had read underrated. He had almost seventy inner sh- interceptions and when he would would intercept a pass he would make you pay for it. I think he was overshadowed because of ray louis but ed reed was phenomenal. I think the other guy who's underrated rod woodson. I think rod woodson is as great an athlete great. Athlete is anybody who's ever played defensive back and that includes dion dionne was wonderful but rod woodson corner and safety memory blew out his knee but he was a guy who is you know olympic ability in the hurdles and he's a great athlete darryl green. You know top five fastest guys who ever played the game. I would go ronnie lott. I just i think ronnie lott made. Did you pay like there. Was something about ronnie lott. He was gonna hit you. He was gonna hurt. Ya i might put ronnie and i don't think there's a wrong answer. There might not be a right answer either mclovin. I would think dion sanders but i i don't know what's how much star power and how much is actually quality play but i feel like when you think of the great ah shut alley dion with such a force but it might have been his personality. Was he better than rivas. I don't know now not as flamboyant rivas not as flamboyant as this dion. Dion was a great return man. That's the other thing too. He was such a good return in my miami. When he got an interception he was taken to the house and he was telling you about rina's actually is not not like an interception no well. You didn't go there and i. I feel like free safeties. Make me nervous because if i'm the quarterback i'm going to see where you are. I want to know where ed reed is when i go to the line of scrimmage. I wanna know where ed rita's. I may not not throw to that left side of the field i just the reverse is over their dealings over there. I'm like okay. I'm going elsewhere. Free safety is going to shade to one side and it just feels like they're going to be there. They're going to be there all afternoon long but i don't know if there's a wrong answer there. I don't know if there's a right answer. I i love darryl green and i loved him as a player and as a person yeah he was a great retirement to yeah. Paulie ed reed has interception returns of one hundred six yards and one hundred seven yards not once not one fluky. Oh he was so smart art. Yes sixty four interceptions. He has twice as many interceptions in his career as troy palmolive who was a great player. Yeah i just you can't get away from ed reed really a brilliant brilliant player kind of look at it. Read it. If you gotta average defensive backfield other than him. He makes it really good because he could cover over every for everybody pretty impressive by the way go to rocco dot com all the parts your car truck weber need rock auto dot com family business founded by automotive engineers in nineteen ninety nine two goals in mind i to give people direct access to all parts information hidden.

If you look closely to my bus on and as you look at it and on the right side my left <hes> i ran into a mailbox playing <hes> little league football i mean not literally out playing street football on the playground as we called it at the time in shrewsbury and i'm running out for a pass and i got the guy beat them five yards and i can't remember who was quarterback and do the boss guy i really far and as a running to get the ball i'm running. "Career. It's like that's that's sort. It's just like look at these nice people playing football in everybody's Nice wallpaper the game. I didn't love the drive-by Boy Charley casserly necessary. You know second quarter interview with Michelle Toy. I believe that didn't feel necessary but it was. There's kind of a that's what Ed Reed brings you just like total random like drive by against a former analyst name that he she pointed out an article or two. That's how strain this this. They thought when you were drafted that this was an underwhelming picky remembered the name of the author he then dropped casserly a bomb on him that was a real bomb west and I it just like he remembers this guy. It's stuck in his mind. If you cross them Ed Reed I've I was lucky enough. This was right after the super bowl or the Ravens won. I got sent randomly as part of the rich Eisen podcast to cover the red carpet of the Oscars and Gronk was supposed to be the red carpet <hes> interviewer guy and it was me and Chris Brockman who works with is in Chris Law. We were pack next in this foreign press area against the railing right on the red carpet. It's pretty surreal experience but gronk how to drop out of the last moment and was replaced by Ed Reed and Ed Reed is a funny guy and he is a totally different type of dude and he had a lot of fun. It was really good experience and then right as the ceremony started because when you're Ed Reed you know people he was Zabel's slip right into the Oscars and just hung out backstage for the entire show it was it was a great memory. I have some photos. Maybe I'll find some in tweet them out but that was cool seeing Ed re going into the hall and we'll get to the hall more a little bit. That was an ugly game by the way I it's first game. It's always someone people get really excited football's bags. That's not football. That's a that is that is the game of football being played but not at any level that you would want to introduce people to the split is funny that we're in the N._F._l.. Really just trying to explain into L. S. like because she was asking my daughter about the preseason like sort of treating it like okay. These are real games. I was like well. They don't really It or something best one was when it was cancelled for I believe hail or heavy rain or some because the painting and try on the field it resulted in all right <hes> and by the way make sure you check check out these Falcons preseason game might be your last chance to see matchup should be if you're a shop fan. The clock's ticking thirty eight years old old former M._v._p.. Matchup he's a survivor. I don't know how much longer the wall baby <hes> all right. Let's move into the news news. <hes> the jets made a surprise move on <hes> Thursday stunning really they bring Ryan Kalil the former pro bowl center of of the panthers out of retirement Khalil thirty four years old <hes> a one year eight point four million dollar contract which is good money but the jets had plenty plenty of it they need it. They had a serious need at center and now you have a veteran who while not quite at his peak greg is a guy that still okay great it out middle of the pack P._F.. What are Chuck Pagano's plans for the Bears defense?

"Now Chuck Pegado he replaces Vic Fazio who went from Chicago to Denver. He is the new defensive coordinator of depth buyers trademark me your thoughts was well. This is the one that this this instigated the article <hes> thinking about Chuck Pagano because you lose Vic Fangio. Who is I think along with Wade Phillips the most most respected affected defensive mind in the game right well bill belichick sort of on an island up there by himself but you know throw in Romeo Coronel is another guy who's respected but we don't really we know what Chuck Pagano is? He had one year defensive coordinator with the Ravens where they finished third in defense with Ray Lewis Ed Reed Terrell suggs and then he went to the the colts and he never really had much town to work with on defense now he's token over a defense that is almost sure to regress to the mean just because they had a sky a high turnover rate loss very few games to injury last year and cannot and fifteen percent of drives with an interception like they did last year especially especially That defense every week to make up for their offense. I felt like an if you're if you're in the situation Pagano. You're going to get blamed from their earliest part of the season. It doesn't go well. Why would I want to take over some for someone who floundered before me you come in and you look on the other hand when you have a chance to work with Cleo Max Akiem Hicks Roquan Smith Dan Danny I mean they're absolutely loaded Jackson Kyle? They are loaded and yet. I think it's a tough spot to go to for for Pagano.

I think the potential adult ballet ownership could get away even though he helps out hundreds of kids every single year in his on his property, the Orlando property in the my he he does so many good things for the community. He was incredible for the colts. He went on to do. Good things for the cardinals. I believe in also the Seahawks. I think I like Edrich James a lot. I just don't know if he's going to ever get in. I don't think it's really hard to get his. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. They absolutely do. Remember, they probably go into a little room. Some some of them go into the rooms for hall of fame meetings and things get brought up that don't matter at all. And we don't wanna do that. We'll do this. I think it's all bunch of Bullshits be on us. I. Personally, could give a fuck less about how famous personally I could care less because it's people voting people in that aren't really in. You know, what I mean, if it was players voting in and coaches voting in I think the media has had a huge role a vital role in the growing of the NFL. I don't want to make but trying to win over the opinion of some sports writer who gives a fuck amount with that person thinks personally, but there's a lot of guys that this is something that they want bad bad, bad bad. It's all they want. I hope Adron James gets him. But I think he might not for a little bit. I think it's might be tougher a little bit. Alands even twelve nine was his last year. What do you mean? Like wasn't laugh. No. So we knew everything on the internet to literally two hours before the show was even supposed to air because they break it live on Twitter when the awards are now. So you already know and the show starts two hours after that, literally two hours. What are you doing there? I heard Steve Harvey did well I didn't watch because I knew who won every award two hours for the show went out. It's kinda hard to get. No. I think it's on. It was on. I think it's a real channel. I think so. Yeah. That not real channel. But you get it. Yeah. CBS though, pay a ten hour pre-game show. I the NFL network. Jeez. Ten fucking hours. Get it might have been longer to be honest. It might have been twelve hours. Macho ten hours sneaking everything they can get in there. One last time. Do they had four different sets? They had everybody there for ten hours for fucking. It's insane. Compared to are like twenty second with twenty five guests in four days. It's. I think that NFL honor show could be something great by the way in that is a goal to host that. "A lot of times they did that for several players, Josh Brown, one of them like, let's wait and see, let's kinda see where we're at with this. They just put his number under like zero, four, nine, six, nine, three, four when they put him up on the screen and introducing. Do. I don't want to do a Sunday night and show where he's going, but we'll just say that's yeah. Do you have the hall of fame question? Yes. NFL less their modern era nominees for the hall of fame of these five guys they have in the picture. You could only give your vote to one of the five John Lynch, Tony Gonzales Ed Reed, champ Bailey Hines, ward only get to pick one right question media answer mine. I'm going to lose. He's the greatest to ever play the position. Not name gronk. I'm gonna go, Tony g you think grunk will be recognized as a better titan than Tony when it's all done. Yeah, he's not gonna stay healthy enough long enough and has also gonna be the question of was Brady Mbela check and mcdaniels helped make. I think Tony Gonzalves the greatest to ever play the game. And I think I left that gronk caveat because they're still a potential of five more years. If healthy, he could beat those numbers, but Tony Ed Reed and Tony dollars my guys, but Tony Gonzales to me best ever plays position. That's where I'm going on that one. Yeah, I could. I think champ Bailey's underrated John Lynch is come close here. Hines ward is going to get in. I think it comes down to Ed Reed. Ed Reed was a playmaker offensive player of the year from the safety position. Would you rather have Ed Reed or Ray Lewis? The great question. Probably go Ray. I feel like Ray like birth that defense like that was raised and read carried. The torch will like, I'm not sure that defense is that defense in the early two, thousands without Ray Lewis. Showing Ed read the way that's a political answer, but I love both of them. Why think Rod Woodson showed Ed read the way rate comment and people forget how great I think Rod Woodson you could make a case is the best athletes who ever play a defensive position. He was he could have been an Olympic hurdler safety corner and kick retests he, he was incredible. Any tackled people. You know it was good at cover and he had how many interceptions did he have fifty as the most interceptions taken for a touchdown history game. I'll tell you. Yeah, and two, very on a Rod. Woodson tangent played in a Super Bowl and a tornado came back that you and shutdown Michael Irvin. Yeah. Amazing. Did you see Steve Smith and Michael Irvin go back and forth? I did, and I don't. I'm not gonna speak out of school. I don't. I don't think that was for Shogo. No, I don't think it I. It feels like Steve Smith may have a sense of humor, but then he may not. And depending on when you say something, so Michael Irvin has essentially where we, yes, but but Mike says something and then all of a sudden Steve says something and feels like this is on now. He's like saying, you know, I got a master's degree in route running. You got a bachelors from a community college doctor route running out and look Steve Smith. If you want to go through the careers, has more yards more exceptional, but are find. I'm curious, calling wolf was the host. I thought she handled it very well on that. How would you have handled that? Would you have made a made a big joke out of it? Would you have tried to up even more? It was captivating TV. I'm not sure it was comfortable. TV would you have done? I think the fact that it was real and it's live. And in that moment then go for it. If we did that and we, we were taping something I might have somebody say, no, I don't. I don't want to put that out there. I think looking at the content part of it, I would have said, Steve, what is your problem with Mike? Because you can't just go. All right, we'll be back after this, like you just okay. He just said that and you can see where Mike is looking at him. Like, are you serious..

"If he didn't. He was a really good player that's about that defending you. Remember what I remember about those years is having a play against the Baltimore Ravens who had Ed Reed and go on and on down the you can go, you can keep talking forever. And then the next. Week having to play against the Steelers who had chemo Charette Kiesel, Casey Hampton, Harrison. I mean, you can go on and on. Those were great, great defenses and great players. And chemo got more recognition for for blowing my NIA. But chemo was a dominant run stuffer and he was a great player in one to Super Bowl. Do you ever think you ever look down at your ne-near? Like I got a dead body in my like, I don't anymore. Really. I had I had a dead body in my leg. Okay. And then that popped and broke and they took that out the dead body also failed. The took the dead body out. Was it Robert Griffin's body that you got the tenant from our. And then they went in and cut my kiloton out and put my money that sounds fato dead body to know achilles, achilles heel. I still have. Oh, no, we'll have to walk around like and said that, yes, we have no weekend. Are you a little bit pissed off that the change the rule after Tom Brady's Neagh got hurt, but not after years? No, they did. They did change but wasn't like roll up into someone's. Then they started calling the Tom Brady, but it was mine, so. Okay. So what that back back. That's the Carson Palmer. But I, I was starting asked about the Steelers because they've got an interesting situation with lady on bell going on there. I know you had like a few disputes with with Cincinnati ownership there at the end. Now his teammates are kind of turning on a little bit. Did you when you're going through that where your teammates support view of you behind the scenes? Because I don't remember anybody saying thing like publicly? Yeah. I mean, I think anybody that's ever played for the Bengals understood probably especially anybody that's played for the Bengals and then played for the Steelers or the patriots or the Packers, or you know, other organizations, anybody that has a chance to compare and contrast would understand what I what I was doing. I got you. Yeah. So. Yes, we, we can pick it up. Is that it was the story that you drove to watch Peyton Manning with Chad Johnson? True this that was like the favorite story for every booth to be like, hey, you know, these guys drove a truck together for five hours. You know that because you don't listen to the. It was it was an hour. Yeah. What was hours about my time Chad, Chad, Chad, I would. We worked out in off seasons in l. a. and and if there was traffic and it was gonna be an over an hour drive. I chat CHAD'S a lot yet. You wanted his office like a week ago and he's just like who wants to get their ass whooped feta and they just started screaming. Then he played video games for like seven hours. I didn't even know why he was. Here's the best. Yeah. Yeah. So how's that relationship? Like? How do you build that relationship? How does the quarterback? I think that something most casual fans don't really understand you like, oh, we'll just pick up this wide receiver. Pick up this tight end, plug them in, does it take a lot of time to get to that point where you trust them? I mean not with somebody's talented his Chad Chad. Anytime Chad was one on one. He was getting the football. Now. People stop trying to cover him one on one..

"But that's why I said they need to put it in contract, Aaron, t contracts, let guys know what can come from playing football, the violent injuries, the CPV's concussions, the after football stuff that can happen to you if you play this game, if that's in the contract with guaranteed in the contract, and we're going to guarantee some part of your contract percentage wise. Whatever it may be. I think that should be implemented that way. You could keep the game. Let me be clear. Let me hold on Ed Reed. Let me be clear from my listeners. You're saying what should be implemented in the contract as a guarantee specifically, what are you talking about? I'm talking. I'm talking about the questions, the injuries, the stuff dying from you could die from playing football, maybe people, you know, and this is how you know these are the things that happen to ex players, you know, seek he, you know, in other words, make the players aware of the risk, put it down in writing. So when they dotted lines absolves u. from culpability as a league, that's what you're say. Yes. Yeah, exactly. You implement and all these other rooms right? Implement that, you know what can happen from football, you know it can happen. We all know what can happen, but yet along, we still have these kids playing recreation. Oh football or ham at each other, you know, making helmet the helmet contact on at the little league level. Do you know what I'm saying? We got guys that have been paralyzed and the college level, you know? So yes, you have to put this stuff in there. This is what's gonna happen to you. MRs will happen to your kid, man if he plays this game. Got it. You know, got it Ed right here with Steven. A. on ESPN radio and ESPN news are you? Are you going to coach in the NFL man? Are you gonna coach the NFL. I would love to be man if I can get the right ownership, the right staff in our little alley in Baltimore after all you different that organization. I mean, I don't. I don't know. So what. I think you have to that question. What you need me for shoddy. Do you need me to call you need me to call John? Is that what you need me to do every because you should be coaching? Should they have? They have a number. And read right here was every right here with Steven on ESPN radio. Let me ask you this because as as you look back on your career, the illustrious career that you had what was so special. I mean, when you think about defense's into days day and age and how we brag about certain defenses that exist, obviously, boss a Baltimore was one of them during your heyday with Ray Lewis in the crew. What if you had to really pinpoint and dissect it for for folks that may not know any better? What do you believe was the ingredients to y'all success as a defensive unit? Tradition in leadership, you know, we had, we had certain things, then certain standards we had that guy had to really uphold. You know, I came from, I came from a background football where guys looked out for each other, you know, in order to win, you had to work together and be on the same page. You have to know each other, you know. So the things we did going out together watching together doing those little things just to become even closer as a as family because we were family, you know, it was a family away from my family. You know, because I got a lot more time with those guys than I did with my own family, you know? So that's standard that we really have. We had a standard, you know, on defense that that where the standard from the the secondary position for myself and my DVD's. That we were going to say, and it was gonna trickle down. He designed back to the d. line to the whole defense to the offense to say, this is how we work, and it's going to be done every day, you know. So when you when you're leading as I did by Japanese, I, you know that that that's going to say more than anything. 'cause I think people see which doing before they actually hear what you're saying and read right here with Steven..

You know, I know we had a great year last year, but we kinda sold at the end of the season. You know, we just couldn't get in a rhythm man. Everytime we got the ball somebody LSU Cy got heard, you know? So I just felt like we really couldn't get in the rhythm. There was some other things there there was. I think that every now everybody's spoken on a few occasions in the past. You know, Ray Lewis as my brother and I know that's your man to, you know, good. Dan, while I'm not gonna let you get away with that. Use argument, y'all wasn't talking to brag. I wouldn't talk about that last season after wait y'all. For this Leyla we wanna come. The NFL season officially opened the last night. You saw the eagles against the Atlanta Falcons. What was your biggest takeaway from that game? Thank you point. When you got a chance to take you on this is a professional league, you know, I am a coach at heart player at heart, but h on and off the field. Okay. So I just feel like you gotta take your points when you when you got a chance to get point, you know, because it's hard to get points in this league as we see, you know, it was an in some other things you got. I mean, from a player, you gotta make your place, you know, and obviously you gotta play smart. It's a smart men's league now it always has been a smart man sleep. You know, we've been saying for years that it's ninety percent, mental, ten percent physical, you know, which is it's the truth. You know, it's the thinking game, but you don't wanna be out there thinking and you can minimize the thoughts and just play tries. It'd be all right, I, it's a smart man sleep. Every extent you say that because I remember watching that I'm assuming you're talking early in the game. You get down in the red zone on two occasions. You only walk away with three points. You could've kicked a field goal in the first drive, at least walked away with those three, right? Obviously, they elected to go for it on a fourth and go, they elected not to do. So here's my question because see, this is my problem with Quinn and particularly Sarkissian and the Atlanta Falcons. I thought they made that decision based on their own ego and what we're trying to overcome as opposed to looking at the opposition understanding. I got Fletcher Cox, Brandon, Graham, and a loading NADA and Michael Bennett and owes boys and other side of the football. In my behoove me to take these damn three points..

"He's not talking about another player's money while he is making a business decision. And. Rich, it's an individual business. It's a team sport. One thing I knew about when I got to leave when the guy's doing his business. 'cause I got my first year on a guys doing his business. You let him take care of his visit by, could you know how brutal this game is? You know, cut throat businesses. You let that guy handle his business. Now, the selfish player as we tend to be want our guys to be that we want our athletes one, our stars to be there guys, we need to win. Ultimately it is about winning and it is a team sport, but like I said, it's the individual business, you know. So I understand what the players are coming from. But at the same time, they gotta answer that differently. Let let those guys let those guys handed business. You know, they'll be here when they hear that. That's that's. Because I'm sitting here and I know that things that don't get done or not, you're not going to get taken care of whether you think when you're retired, so you gotta make sure that you're paying yourself for your future for paying yourself. You know to to be taken care of after the game is over. You know, what do you mean by that? Get into a little bit more fuel on. So if you drink too much at the game, if you over consumed, you're gonna pass out. You might not be able to remember the old game, you know. So that's why you take your water breaks right now. I feel like lady on and taking a water break, you know? 'cause he understands that he has a lot of plays that he is a part of. He's he's a part of seventy percent of Pittsburgh often. So he's like looking at it like, hey, man, I'm I'm a big part of this. I'm not getting compensated the way I feel I should be, you know, as a player, not just a running back, but as the NFL player in the lead, you know, he's probably one if not. I don't think top ten players in the football league, especially in France, Football that people want on their team because of his production that's in speak for. So, yeah, I know you signed a contract with those contracts also negotiable. You know. So he's got a figure out his number, you know, correlated with the Pittsburgh Pittsburgh number and they got to come to agreement. You know, therefore both teams hydrated properly and they can get this thing going nine Ed Reed courtesy of crown Royal the water break. By the way, I just love the way your just weaving in your sponsor into your conversation. You are really next level had read. You are next level and we'll get crown Royal in a second. But I just want to touch on this last piece of business here when Levy on comes in. Because again, he can't get a long term deal right now based on the franchise tag rules right now. So when he comes in, how does this does? Do the guys welcome and give them a hug and then it's all forgotten or will they just look out of the sides of their helmets from time to time when he's coming off the field? Wondering if he's coming off the field for reason other than a water break at a need help with it, rich. It ain't entity them. Business. What happened so long to get there when he get there should be all football. It's it's any business because they not his agent and then not him. They already got their contracts. They already getting. They chip the whereabout themselves and play football if they weren't about contracting worrying about Levy on and all that stuff that's going to take away from what they're trying to compress that the team, whenever Leon gets there when he's obligated to get there during the under the franchise tag. And so did you know?.

"Show or tines are just walking around soaking it all end first time experience for both of us and we turn around and there's a group about a half dozen people or so head to toe in Steelers colors with terrible towels. And they start yelling at Heinz, and we kinda turn around and they're just random. Steelers fans at the Academy Award. Terrible tells with terrible towels. Had no idea Hines, ward. We did not advertise. We just showed up. It's yours. Vince everyday are everywhere. They used to be twelve. Everywhere was very small window. I wonder what the calling anybody out is a very small one though. Patriots, put the beach putting the patriots, they're, they're not America's team. No, no, no. Hey, I know which Dallas is well, but I will say also Dallas fans travel everywhere. And that was part of the reason why the giants bounced Ben mcadoo and put ally back in is because after that insanity last year where they sat Eli and busted up, his starting streak was not only busted that up, but not even to see Davis Webb to give Gino Smith. The start talk about a trivia question for the ages, who is the quarterback that giant started breaking up ally manning starting street. The reason why they rectified all of that. In addition to the obvious of the enraged fan base and ally manning being who he is is because you know it was coming in next into MetLife. The Cowboys and other NFC steam for the Cowboys were coming in. And if the giants fans were outraged and didn't show up, it would have been a home game for the Dallas Cowboys in MetLife against Gino Smith, what a nightmare because they travel their secondary ticket market people, and they travel. Eight, four, four, zero, four, rich. We'll take your phone calls on this subject in many more Ed Reed. Next segment, sneaky, good games as well. Meaning games that are on the marquee. We. We go in the other direction, Chris, Brockman sneaky, good games. You're not talking on games. We're not talking about in week number one, rob cordray who does root for your America's team as New England, Patriots. Very funny, rob cordray of ballers. That's all still humming. That's all still here on this about almost went on a mountainous on. You're right. They're all still on.

"Everybody. Our number two of the rich Eisen show is on the air. We just had Michael bargain studio, longtime front office man in the NFL interesting chat. I, I think basically every single rookie drafted in the first round should be starting the quarterback position this year with the exception of Lamar Jackson. And the reason why say that is Joe flacco won the Super Bowl, and you know. The last time he needed approve it. He was Super Bowl. Now, I know Ray Lewis and Ed Reed aren't walking through that door, but Lamar Jackson, when it all comes down to it, I think will be starting for this team by Tober. I really believe it. I think that the ravens are going to have an interesting September starting off with a a home dating. It's buffalo and maybe started Josh Allen there at Cincinnati home for Denver at Pittsburgh week, five at Cleveland, Lamar Jackson versus Baker Mayfield week. Five. I, I really believe it that they can have a tough time keeping that kid off the field flacco goes through his occasional usual doldrums, and this kid's going to be put in there. And we might see all five first round rookie starting by the middle of the season jets are gonna be starting Sam darnold and I still can't believe that our poll questions damn near fifty fifty top of hour number two shocked at that to go for read it for those who might not have already heard it four. Four year franchise rookie quarterback. Would you want them to start right away? And right now we're okay where fifty. Three percent? Yes. Well, maybe because we're starting oppressor thumb on the scale little bit more. Offensive coordinator, Jeremy Bates of the New York Jets, offensive coordinator. Jeremy Bates who's perhaps was at the one who DMZ saying he's watching very cannily quite a bit that you send tweeted out that DM somebody's now. I didn't wanna out that date. Okay. He's he as you know, he was the guy who Cutler appreciated more than more than most of his overseas on Sam darnold..
