"Get blown out Sunday night Football. 34 to 14. The defense completely collapsed, collapsed and failed. And, uh, did not do a lot of the basic things that we expect them to do. Even if you don't have, like top 10 defense expectations for this crew The offensive game plan. Waddell's got some good synopsis on that that Nagy just spoke right now. I'm going to play you some samples of that in just a little bit, But I want to make sure that you load up the phone lines now, with 3123323776 as we like to do. We love to open up the phone lines and the day after a bears game. Let you voice your opinion. It is our opinions and is your opinions and you are our guests. It is guest free, and we react to the bear's going to O N. One against France, But Matt Nagy, I guess the biggest takeaways for me, at least from at Maggie's press conference was at least He said that they are not going to give much more time to Justin Fields that they are where they're at. As far as the way the plan has gone. I don't know if he would announce that today anyway. Um, and that he really In my opinion, did not hold the defense's feet to the fire. You showed me and Mike Vrabel soundbite about Julio Jones and about a bad Julio Jones penalty. Matt Nagy didn't want to ruffle any feathers with the defense as far as guys, not downing players who are already laying down on the turn. He called it a teaching moment. Good morning experience. Whatever a learning experience like if you haven't already learns that a receiver down under his own Whatever. Is allowed to get up and run for as long as he wants to, unless you touch him. If you don't already know that then your football like you isn't where it needs to be. It's not a teaching moment or a learning experience. It's a findable offense for professional football player. Period. End of story. It's not acceptable. And that's what match should be telling. Look, I'm not gonna get all dialed into what the coach said. Because my eyes tell me that you've got bigger issues than the words coming out of the coach's mouth. But that's that's a final offense. That's not a learning experience. Learning experiences occur when with with youthful players at lower levels, or maybe a rookie. You know, I'll give you an example of a learning experience Justin Fields in the preseason when he didn't set the protection the way that it needed to be set, and he took one on the chin from one of the Buffalo Bills. Defenders flew off. That's a learning experience for Justin Fields. Eddie Jackson is beyond learning experience Moments. Gibson's Beyond those moments as well. So like Those are findable offenses. To me. Those aren't learning experiences and look, it's one game, so I'm sure the coach's perspective is is it always is is we're all going to be pulling on the same end of the rope right now. We don't want to cause any more. You know, trouble than is already, you know, starting to swirl around, so we're going to. We're going to play this with kid gloves. You know, the that's silliness. You know you were You were joking with me and how worked up I was getting all week last week. Yeah, I just I was And I'm not people were tweeting me saying, Sylvia, you embarrassed. I'm not embarrassed today. I'm not embarrassed as a bear fan. I'm exhausted. I am exhausted Already after Game one from this coaching staff, I'm exhausted of Matt Nagy is bad plans, whether it's a game plan or whether it's a big picture Justin Fields plan He continues to show me that I cannot trust him. He's a brutal, brutal offensive coordinator. If he was simply just the offensive coordinator of this team and not the head coach with the record of plus 500 attached to his name because he's been the head coach when the defense was really good. Matt Nagy would have been fired long ago. Long ago. A matter of fact, he's already fired an offensive coordinator on his staff. He's already fired in offensive line coach on his staff. He's under other coaches. David Gone, left the building. The running backs coach left the building in this offseason, but Matt Nagy is his bad as anything inside that locker room when it comes to calling plays. During a football game and then the lack of accountability for Eddie Jackson. This is the other thing that has been annoyed and exhausted in that embarrassed is If you do a Google search, I showed this to waddle of Eddie Jackson and Ed Reed. To Google search just type in the names Eddie Jackson and Ed Reed. And we're talking about a Hall of Famer and we're talking about. A player who cannot tackle And a couple of years ago. There were all these comments of Eddie Jackson being in the end, read mold. And Mark Pot. Ash. I thought did a good job today trying to get some answers from that, Maggie, But I also thought his direction of questioning was off. He wants to point the finger at Sean decide. And I've been through this before with the Cubs, and they're hitting coaches. The Cubs couldn't hit for a lot of years because their players underachieved. It was Rizzo was by as it was KB. We've been through all that. I don't want to relitigate that. But the point is, is it was Chili Davis's fault. One year it was this off. It was this hitting coach. Shit. It's not shine to size fault that Eddie Jackson didn't tackle or doesn't want to tackle Eddie Jackson has been a pro bowler. Eddie Jackson and believe it's been in all pro any. Jackson has got to know how to tackle Andy Jackson has got to know that role. This is not a Sean decide issue. This is a player's issue and that is horrible. What happened yesterday and he's just a symptom of a lot of it as well. This defense gave up 386 yards and 34 points so that the Sean McVeigh trend is intact where the Sean McVeigh Rams in the opening game of the season are undefeated in average over 30 points per game They scored, the Bears were giving up better than eight yards per play..

"And that's where the Panthers will have a tie summers with the tackle on special teams. That was a near miss on the part that just barely got off 55 seconds. Panthers no timeouts. Down 24 to 16, and here it is again in seven of their losses. Teddy Bridgewater's had the ball it exactly a situation like this a chance to tie or take a league. We have a flag. During the kick holding receiving team number 42 10 yard penalty from the end of the kick. First down Carolina So it goes on Sam Franklin. Down to the wire as you mentioned, but Kenny Robinson number 27 backup safety for the Carolina Panthers. He almost blocked that punch. And boy that would have been unbelievably catastrophic for the Green Bay Packers. If he was able to scoop and score that he gave us up in under, He was on the punters left side and beat the left wing on it up in under about as clean as I've seen, like, like Ed Reed style and read back in the day here, with the Baltimore Ravens Open under clean, he should have blocked that part. 55 seconds. No timeouts Panthers from their 20 down a shotgun snap Teddy Bridgewater's drops back against the four man rush. He's pressured his head. He throws us. He's contacted and dropped out of the 10 and the whistles. Player flag down incomplete. But he was surrounded by green and gold. Large presence of Preston Smith, the most prominent as five seconds eroded from the clock making 49 seconds on the game clock Now, all right guard John Miller, he got beat right now. By Kingsley Kik. And look like Kik was the first guy that Teddy Bridgewater on kicking. I mean, just an inside and inside grip. Move. Teddy Bridgewater had nowhere to go. He was trying to throw the ball down the field. They're probably call for intentional, intentional grounding offense number five balls, placing spot of the foul, so loss of down with the second down. It's under two minutes, so we're gonna run 10 seconds from the game clock. Lock. Operator, please. He said the game clock 39. Seconds talking. How does that? How does that impact things here? What can you accomplish? What do you want to see? With 39? Seconds down to score back up to your own 10? Well, I'm shocked that Green Bay is gonna rush four. Right here, Norman. You think he'd rush three getting extra person back? Coverage, but second down 20 under 39 seconds, Bridgewater just in front of his own end zone throws to the far left side part buys back Rodney Smith. He hops out of bounds of 22 yard line gate of 12. 30 seconds to go, clock Stop. Teddy Looks like he's almost limping a little bit on that last tack. You know, I'm surprised he didn't just step up and try to run with. He's been doing such a great job of running. Scrambling up the middle of feel when he sees the rush kind of split like that, but Really right now. Green Bay just run in there Pretty red Zone defense, So expect a couple of check downs off the sideline to try to get the ball out of bounds. Stop the clock. All spotted at 21 39 30. Seconds to go. No timeouts. Shotgun snap three step drop. Bridgewater hammered as he throws a DP one on one just outside of the one hand of Curtis Samuel. On the left cash, 10 yards deep and Green Bay territory at the 40. It was within inches of his right gloved hand and it made contact with the head. He couldn't curl it in. Teddy Bridgewater, David the heave ho and threw this ball right up the middle of field and I tell you what. I'll take the matchup of Curtis Samuel against Christian Kirksey any day because that is not even close to being a race. Teddy Bridgewater. New it. I'll tell you what Matt rule is pleading with the referees right now for a helmet to helmet hit on Teddy Bridgewater, and he's got a good case. Only four seconds on the play clock that just great couple. It's fourth down and nine no time outs. There's movement Upfront Bridge, one of a shotgun snap flags fly. He's gonna throw deep down the near right side intercepted triple coverage and under throne looking for Robbie.

"Welcome to number one boys the rigors succession after show aka fear and self loathing in tribeca. My name is chris ryan. This is jason concepcion. We're number one boy. We're going to get into succession season two episode to vaulter a kendall roy game. That's right baby. We start off each episode out of number one boys with by ourselves means. What are we investing in and what are we divesting in. We talk here about who were into on this show so i for by who i'm gonna go kendall as a son right so if we take all what kendall's actions are off the table people in this episode and you just talk about whether or not he is executing against his assignment as a son. He's rushing did a great job. He's tearing key data right. He has said head over and over and over again. What did you say at the end of the episode because my dad told me because my dad told me to. That's literally like and you can see there is no soul inside yeah anymore. It is left his body. It's like ed reed hit him with the helmet spine it and you saw the soul actually just come out the back but he's literally doing exactly what logan wants to do it. In a way that in the previous season i don't know that he was necessarily surly capable of showed that kind of not savviness but like ability to be clandestine. That's a great point because in the past he's kind of been not honest with himself about the fact that he's doing things because his dad either directly told him to or because his dad said on this course to be the person he is and now he's he's just plain spoken about. It told me to do this. My dad told me to gut your company so i did he. He reminds me of darth vader in a way in this in this episode because he's like you know with the darth..

What are Chuck Pagano's plans for the Bears defense?

"Now Chuck Pegado he replaces Vic Fazio who went from Chicago to Denver. He is the new defensive coordinator of depth buyers trademark me your thoughts was well. This is the one that this this instigated the article <hes> thinking about Chuck Pagano because you lose Vic Fangio. Who is I think along with Wade Phillips the most most respected affected defensive mind in the game right well bill belichick sort of on an island up there by himself but you know throw in Romeo Coronel is another guy who's respected but we don't really we know what Chuck Pagano is? He had one year defensive coordinator with the Ravens where they finished third in defense with Ray Lewis Ed Reed Terrell suggs and then he went to the the colts and he never really had much town to work with on defense now he's token over a defense that is almost sure to regress to the mean just because they had a sky a high turnover rate loss very few games to injury last year and cannot and fifteen percent of drives with an interception like they did last year especially especially That defense every week to make up for their offense. I felt like an if you're if you're in the situation Pagano. You're going to get blamed from their earliest part of the season. It doesn't go well. Why would I want to take over some for someone who floundered before me you come in and you look on the other hand when you have a chance to work with Cleo Max Akiem Hicks Roquan Smith Dan Danny I mean they're absolutely loaded Jackson Kyle? They are loaded and yet. I think it's a tough spot to go to for for Pagano.

I think the potential adult ballet ownership could get away even though he helps out hundreds of kids every single year in his on his property, the Orlando property in the my he he does so many good things for the community. He was incredible for the colts. He went on to do. Good things for the cardinals. I believe in also the Seahawks. I think I like Edrich James a lot. I just don't know if he's going to ever get in. I don't think it's really hard to get his. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. They absolutely do. Remember, they probably go into a little room. Some some of them go into the rooms for hall of fame meetings and things get brought up that don't matter at all. And we don't wanna do that. We'll do this. I think it's all bunch of Bullshits be on us. I. Personally, could give a fuck less about how famous personally I could care less because it's people voting people in that aren't really in. You know, what I mean, if it was players voting in and coaches voting in I think the media has had a huge role a vital role in the growing of the NFL. I don't want to make but trying to win over the opinion of some sports writer who gives a fuck amount with that person thinks personally, but there's a lot of guys that this is something that they want bad bad, bad bad. It's all they want. I hope Adron James gets him. But I think he might not for a little bit. I think it's might be tougher a little bit. Alands even twelve nine was his last year. So he's been eligible for a while. Wow. Now. Yeah. I think he made the finals this year those shutout Ed Reed making it good for him shutout. Ed Reed try to block Putnam on one here. What do you mean? Like wasn't laugh. No. So we knew everything on the internet to literally two hours before the show was even supposed to air because they break it live on Twitter when the awards are now. So you already know and the show starts two hours after that, literally two hours. What are you doing there? I heard Steve Harvey did well I didn't watch because I knew who won every award two hours for the show went out. It's kinda hard to get. No. I think it's on. It was on. I think it's a real channel. I think so. Yeah. That not real channel. But you get it. Yeah. CBS though, pay a ten hour pre-game show. I the NFL network. Jeez. Ten fucking hours. Get it might have been longer to be honest. It might have been twelve hours. Macho ten hours sneaking everything they can get in there. One last time. Do they had four different sets? They had everybody there for ten hours for fucking. It's insane. Compared to are like twenty second with twenty five guests in four days. It's. I think that NFL honor show could be something great by the way in that is a goal to host that. "Was a night of tension and excitement for this newest class of hall of famers and our own Edward caught up with one of them when the ceremony was done. Ed Reed six years ago. Jonathan Ogden became the first player drafted by the ravens to make the pro football hall of fame, and he did it in his first year of eligibility. This last year Ray Lewis accomplish the same thing. And now you've accomplished that being a first ballot hall of Famer what what's the significance of that? In your mind. I mean, they only discussed your candidacy for two minutes and twenty seconds. It was obviously a slab duck decision. That's pretty that's pretty sweet man is nice. You know, it's definitely a blessing for that to happen. You know, and it goes to show how hard we trained Reaganite together to get to this point. We was also back to back NBP's defense MVP's. You know, and you know, for me to retire and five years later be a first ballot hall of fame with all these great guys that I looked up to you know, I don't know if it really hit me yet. But to represent Baltimore that way. That's classic. I got a great quote from Ozzie Newsome, the general manager who drafted you. He's a hall of Famer himself. And he said, here's my summation of Ed Reed. You can take the game or work game changer in difference maker and put them next to each other. Then put it that next to a picture of Ed Reed. And that defines you as a football player in the NFL, Michael Jordan. I'm position I was Michael Jordan football. Let's go to AVI in Long Island. Avi. How are you? I do a good Tony. How are you buddy? I'm hanging in there. What's going on? I want to make a couple points, I presume this. You know, when I first heard the trade alleys kind of like really pissed off like what the Knicks. What are the next? Do it again. You know, what I really give it when you really give it some thoughts only the fact that they got some players back. It could be good with them. You know Smith that point guard the actually passed on a couple of years back. That was a big mistake. And you know, they got two first round picks that trade that no one's really bring it up. But I really think that building for the future. I think they realize that you know, they got a knock it down and clearing up to Mack's contracts of space where they can pick up to four players. Listen, you gotta have players you gotta have a lot of talent to win because we all know how bad the NBA is right now. It's it's one team and one team only, and that's the Golden State Warriors. You have the likes of curry Durant. It's causing these to go to the warriors. It's almost as bad as Durant Goto the warriors after the warriors knock out Homa city. Yeah. The NBA. No, they all now, they all went and super teams. That's why Davis probably wind up with the Lakers. Lebron? And and as as Brian Mahoney mentioned if the Knicks get that number one pick in the draft, which is still if you don't know how to pinpoint balls gonna find gonna wind up. Right. Maybe if you get Syon Williamson, maybe maybe the Durant's in the in the irvings of the world might wanna come here. Let's do they really got to stop. The Knicks have a real shot. But to me when you have five players on Golden State to meet the NBA to me. I don't like watching them anymore because we all know who's gonna win in the end. There's no you don't know what's going to happen. Like tomorrow's game. A lot of people. Don't know what's going to happen. You know, the patriots. You have the Rams who's gonna win. I think it's pretty clear cut. You know? I think the thing that you gotta give the patriots are very big as a heavy favorite. But I will tell you this. The only way the only way the Rams are gonna win this game and pull this out is if the new coach McVeigh young guy got yeah. And Wade Phillips. Some scheme out of there. Bring up the middle upper God right in Brady's face and get him wash straighted because that's the only way Donna can still has got an Donald gotta get into him and caused a lot of havoc. Because then the Rams cornerback squad very chancy like to take risks like how leave the other guys then they could take Radi off. We're here. Here's here's the thing. You need. What what what you're saying? Everyone saying the same thing. And it's it's true. You gotta get pressure on Brady you got to touch Brady. But how many times have we said that? And it doesn't happen. You might get him once or twice. But like with Brady's like. With grease in the NFC championship game. How many times it's Brady get hit while he's throwing the ball at the duck floating down the down the field. Somebody picks it off. It's offensive line. Is is underrated. 'cause they give them enough time to do what he has to. Let's go to James in port Washington James here on the fan. Tony. How are you? All right, man. What's going on before we get to my porzingas point? I just wanted to give you kudos on that on that. Great opening. You always have with this. Simpson's. Okay. Yeah. Love it. But anyway, the next point. Do you think it's kind of seems like that the the mills regime Perry regime is trying to purge? The Phil Jack. You know, the legacy of I may out of the out of the franchising, kind of Jon Gruden it if I may yes, it'd be like he never existed in the last the last pieces nil Akina, and I I can't believe that when they said, oh he and Dennis Smith junior. We'll be fine together. Like, no, no, they won't. What is you should have drafted Dennis Smith junior? I in the first place. D C in the they had in his canter is another is talked off even further that the Andrey Jordan is he's thirty years old, and he's gonna lose playing time to him. And he's twenty six and don't forget Mitchell Robinson still there. Yeah. I mean, look doing the right thing. I mean, I I understand what Brian Mahoney was right? You never want to just give you know, kinda guy. You're hoping somebody gives you something for him. But let's be realistic. If you really were interested in canto, you're in general manager, I'm not giving you anything for them because you don't want him. Anyway, I'll just going to wait to you cut them. And then you're gonna wind up paying half the freight anyway for his salary, and it's quite clearly he's going to be cut sooner than later. Yes. It says he has he has no future here. And you know, he's it's funny Zion. Williamson is is a is a, you know, a beast if you wanted to make him the center, you know, he'd probably run wild because they're not to may centers of Kansas center. But he's he's he's not an athletic center. That's what everybody wants to do the key word of the NBA athleticism. You can run the field and you could hit threes. Everybody can dunk and most people shoot threes. If you don't shoot three you better have another. You know, some kind of skill set. I don't know if they're gonna you know, if the center positions are gonna come back. But in the old days of of a seven footer going underneath the basket. Seven foot is go out and shoot threes. And the coaches don't mind going to marry you. Manella pin? Mary what's going on? Tony what's going on brother? I came from mom. I put my bed in for tomorrow. I want with the Rams, but I have a question for you. What are you thinking your lifetime or you'll see I the Knicks win a championship or the jets when championship who has a good one who I see next. Just probably have a better chance you can get chech- win one before the Knicks night because there's something always seems to go wrong with with the Knicks. Everybody's waiting for them to get the number one pick in the draft. They may not get it. And I still don't see why even if they did why people want to come to this franchise. Because even if you brought in Durant, and in Irving, you still got Dolan overseeing this, and and and if you talk to people like Carmelo Golan better than what he John shit like, no, no. No. Okay. So you you're saying the jets are gonna win it before? Yeah. Nice job. Yeah. If you look at the jets have their quarterback the Knicks like speculation who's the number one player right now. Knox. Not really he'll probably be a lot better. If they can get that big time player, but there's no guarantee what what if still what if none of the big names wanna come here. You spend all that money on mediocrity mediocrity and just tell China convince people that they really really good. Look if you're averaging twenty points a game. And I give you thirty million a year, you're not gonna start averaging thirty a game. Let's go to Ed Manhattan. Ed what's going on? Yeah. I haven't spoken to you for a while. I agree with you. That is top. You can put all the pressure want on Brady, blah. I still sitting had the that's not the best offensive line in a game. I it's hard to pick this one at a fancy the team. I think the patriots win it. But I wouldn't be shocked. The Rams pull this out. I think. Going to have a big game. I think the key is can the Rams run the football tomorrow or today against the front of lingam growing. If he's even seventy percents the has a pretty good game. There's a pretty good chance that they might pull the thing. I look for a close game tomorrow. But I'm thinking New England only if the Rams can't run the football. What you see what happened to this whole ballgame today? I think I could see. The patriots getting out in front early. Ray pulls it makes it a couple of quick plays themselves to you know, because we expert expect the Rams to do something a little different and I could see ballot. Check bay thinking outside the box and then the Rams sought to come back late, but the the holes too big, and as I say thirty seven thirty one pages. But I think it's it's going to be what we've always seen. Ballot. Check coming up with a scheme to to to to. Slow down their quarterback Brady doing his thing. Everybody says if Donald getting in there. It makes it much much more difficult and that disrupts Brady which we we're talking about. We keep saying, and I don't know. I don't know if the moment's gonna swallow up golf, we'll see I still think, you know. Nobody wants to see Brady anymore. But that's the way it is. We'll come back, and we'll talk to a Ryan Cardiff take on the Rams right after this. Are your wiper blades?.

"The the raiders weren't willing to give up Khalil Mack to the forty nine. But you know. Everybody has a price in the four years. Go a certain level on every guy that they've been after and through this point, the only guy, you know, they've really landed of any significance has been Jimmy Garoppolo. And they didn't have to give much at all to get him from Bill Belichick and the patriots. Wow. Good stuff, Matt. And then I believe you're in Atlanta for the pro football hall of fame voting, right? That is correct. Tomorrow morning bright and early give us the top three storylines tomorrow morning. Well, from a local standpoint, you know, the number one story line is Tom Flores, he'll he's he's in the top fifteen for the first time for the first time he'll be discussed in the room. You can't he make it into the top ten could he get in there in the final five? Also, John Lynch is up for cash. I think this is the sixth time in the top fifteen and he hasn't cracked through yet tomorrow, Tony Gonzales and other Cal product, he's a slam dunk. Ed reads, a slam dunk champ. Bailey is probably. Close to a slam dunk Bailey. Yeah guy when I watched him new is a really good player. But like I watched Ed Reed as a hall of Famer, you watch Tony Gonzales America as a holiday, I guess champ Bailey. I guess so I think he's he's clearly the number three guy as far as if if we're putting the odds down, and then the final two or I mean, it's up in the air and you'll four offensive lineman could cancel themselves out. Yeah. Tom floors, and Don coryell and and Corey. John Lynch and Steve atwater. So it's going to be pretty interesting to find out who those fines. You guys get momentum. Like, Mike Mussina got momentum. And Cooperstown or Edgar Martinez got momentum. And we refrain from comment on a D H getting into the fame. But anyway, is there a momentum behind Flora's at all? Yeah. I think so because this is the first time he's made it this far. And so there is a sense that. You know, that his his stock is is looking up that I think people are becoming a little bit more cognizant of the pioneering aspect of it in in what he meant, you know, basically from a global aspect. So I think there is some momentum behind him. Absolutely, mattie. Always fun. Enjoy tomorrow. They cases right us too. I did Terrel Owens the last two years, but this year nothing next year, probably Patrick Willis, he Willis interest. So I can be just kind of I can hang out and chill and not have to stress over anything. And just enjoy the ballot comes plug in the names when the other guys are standing up making their cases for guys I want you to fold your arms and rub your chin and look stern shake my head like this little noises. I wouldn't have said that do a little haram. The deal. Thanks, matty. From NBC sports bay area. He's our forty Niners Willis, Murph. Yeah. "You know? That's why I don't think this year, but he gets he's got more prose than Tylenol to shit. Everybody's thinks Tyler on his pro football reference page to like the picture they use so goddamn cool. His name is tile. I know it's more you want. Have you seen the Tyler lawyer, Beloit? Poster. I felt like I was big lawyer Malloy fan. Listen, I typed silo Malloy post game right up. They do what I was looking for high law. I saw. Oh, yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I've seen this the firm. Oh, yeah. Then they got this other one to which if if you're on Google is the third result where they like spending the footballing have fun when I'm looking at. That's the firm one, but the law and lawyer, but now the one that's been in the ball. That's the one that is the one directly to the right of that from the Super Bowl stance. Like these these two like Ed Reed, whoever the fuck would be the only other like cornerback. Like any ravens corner from that era? Was we caster? Yeah. Amit though, that'd be the only ones I would even put on the level is these two and obviously had reads the best player out of all them. But God damn, we're Tilana employed. Savages lorrimore. I got the same number of pro bowls tile, all pro skews me. There's not a chance he makes it man. Let's talk about a guy who like you think that that ten pick game was was season was vengeance. From Tyler when we cut loyal to the bills. Right. He went to the bills and we kind of right before the season. Awesome players like it like he ate leap at plea. What the all training camp after week four. We're like ano- lawyers gone. The whole team was shot. Like hope patriots. The fuck we doing to what to who are now. This was only one what at this point. What am I talking about? We don't wanna now you want to the patriots of today. We had missed the playoffs and to 'cause like the jets kick a field goal or some shit. I can't even remember how the fuck we miss that. And I don't know three. We cut lawyer season starts though, he was like captain the whole team. Like all teams like a fuck. We lose thirty one nothing to the bills like Tom Brady. Of the bills like three times in his life. Yeah. I I'm pretty sure he scored one of their fat Delima whose name was Sam Adams. He had a touchdown. It was out. I'm pretty sure Drew Bledsoe. The quarterback to it was just an old fashioned beatdown bills open and then week seventeen patriots beat the bills thirty one seven. It was a sweet symmetry to the two thousand three cease bittersweet for for for lawyer. Listen, I was when when they said Lor Malloy was no longer on the team. I was like this has to be some sort of mistake can someone please Bella check on the horn this to Molloy's. Yeah. At like, I think that was when we brought in Rodney Harrison that same offseason as right God forbid, they play together. Kylo you. Physically assaulting every single. What could you possibly do those three? Oh, yeah. I might have to make this this lot Aloi picture by like advertise for the fucking planet outages fire. This girl is which we shirt like tomorrow. Yeah. No. I think the ones been in the I think that's the. Yeah. Oh, yeah. Lynch's in here. But yeah, he will make I don't think I'll make this. Kevin why he's another one? I know I've seen his name a couple of times. I don't probably will. But I don't think he gets in this time. This is Edwards. I Ed reason for his ballot than I don't even know what we're doing direct, which of course, he won't that. That's why he will not be. Yeah. I mean, ever since Teo was second ballad. I don't know if anyone's first ballot new Ed Reed has ring nine pro bowls eight all-pros defensive player of the year. He's led the league interceptions. Three times is the longest interception return. A history is the most interception return yards in history and see this should be. If this was the NBA he'd walk in direct, just as he's got the college that two time all American defensive player of the year that one but now as it is probably be like a fourth ballot hall of fame. See?.

"Jennifer Kushinka, some of our top stories and headlines Trump and congressional leaders meet again today about the shutdown seven killed in a highway crash in Florida. The December jobs report is out today. Fifteen finalists for the pro football hall of fame, including Tony Gonzalez. Ed Reed, not on the list, Jimmy Johnson and Hines ward. And a home in California featured in the movie bird box is starting to get the curiosity seekers on its front porch. And the owner has some ironic news that story in about twenty minutes. Some three dozen pharmaceutical companies will be raising drug prices this year, ending a self-declared halt to increases what's behind the higher costs joined now by Steph Denson president and co founder of GDP advisors. Seth what's going on. Well, listen, this is just the we'll call it the continuance of a delayed. It was supposed to occur last year. Remember about midway through two thousand eighteen drug manufacturers came out and announced they were going to be raising the prices of drugs and after some shaming from the Trump administration. They halted that and announced at that time that they would be halting until January twenty nineteen. And now, those chickens have come home to roost. Why is it that drug prices are so high in this country is that the research and development? That's part of it. I mean, it is ridiculously expensive on average about two billion dollars to bring a drug to market and that takes time to it's it's roughly at twelve year process to go through things like FDA approvals and trials and so on. So you know, it is a very expensive process. The challenge that we have in the United States is that we're footing the Bill for that. While the rest of the world gets to kind of freeload off of it because we pay for the research and development the tax payers do through insurance premiums and co pays and co-insurance. So as to follow up to that we pay more right as Americans than in than other countries, we do in other countries most other countries for the most part, they have price-fixing structures in place where the US based pharmaceutical company wants to sell a drug in their country. They have to adhere certain price controls. And so the challenge that we have or the issue that that creates is that the does drug companies utilize the the backs of the American citizen to pay for the profit margin while the other countries get to freeload and ultimately get top line growth benefits from that. Well, I never got a thank you card from anybody in Europe or something like that. Not likely you will anytime soon. But the Trump administration is identified. This is a problem is trying to do all they can to start to drive those costs down, which I think is one of the drug companies aren't too thrilled with kind of the press. They're getting out of the White House. All right. So, but I mean is there any way short of price controls here, which I presume would never happen. The way they happen. Elsewhere in any other way to get a handle on this stuff. Free markets work best when there's competition rights. I think there's a couple of things that we can do one is the reduce our, you know, we'll we'll call it pull back some of the red tape requirements of bringing new drugs to market allow foreign competitors into the United States foreign testing of drugs to come in. You know, it takes so long and so much money to bring a drug market in the United States and part of that is because our FDA doesn't allow other companies come in and the other piece of that is is the patent laws. We allow drugs to stay on patent way. Too long and get patent extensions in the United States. We need to change that. All right. So what do they vary from drug to drug these patents and patent the patent extensions? Well, they can it all depends on how that drug manufacturer refile the the patents. And so we've made it too easy to do that though here in the United States. So Dr manufacturer. Tweak one little thing, and they can refile a patent and get in some cases up to a five and ten year extension on that baton, which means that they control the marketplace. We're speaking with Seth Johnson. He's the president and co founder of the market analysts company called GDP advisors. We're talking about pharmaceutical companies raising prices in two thousand nineteen so go back to your point about about foreign testing in foreign drug companies here in the US and why from a competitive standpoint. I guess what? Prices are higher because of our limits. Yes. So the FDA is for years not allow foreign testing that may occur in other westernized countries people even places like Great Britain, and France and Sweden testing that might be done there. When the drug is brought over here to the United States the testing has an effect start over we don't allow that testing to come in. And so nor do we allow other manufacturers from outside the country do sell their drugs in the United States. So there's a little bit of a protection structure around pharmaceutical companies here in the US that allows them to continue to call a gal the American citizen for their profits. And the best thing for consumer to do is be a consumer a lot of the drugs that are getting prices raised this January actually have generic alternatives. So it would be who the consumer not to just always take the same drug because it's been the drug taken always look at generic alternative. There's a great website free for consumers to use. It's called good. Rx dot com and consumers can go there. Find out if there's a generic term for their drug and even get coupons and find lower cost places to get that set Seth Denson president and co founder of GDP advisers. It is twenty minutes now in front of the hour on This Morning, America's.

"Remington driver brand new truck, and you're like just as long as it's on those not on the edges. You're not on the edges. You're good to go. So I went today, and it was a pen leak. It was like a small sized hole. But it was shooting out of it. So the guy plugged that came over you remember member Ravi jerseys to work here at the fan and CBS sports radio. Remember that kid Matvey remember Robbie, right? Yeah. Of course, his dad is my guy, and he he hooked me up. And they fixed it and that was that. And I put it back on and I wrote off into the sunset and thirty four CEO's me relation favors for taking her car today to get it fixed. Her new trucker big rig. I love that Reagan's a bad ass is one bad mother for other in that truck. So anyway. There you go. That's that's problems. Can we go back to this basketball game for a second? I mean to tell you is this unbelievable. Or what watching this guy harden? I mean were they not down like twenty in this game? Carver I at least I mean, they were getting their asses handed to him. I believe so the lead. So I mean, they were flat out they were getting killed and they have found their way back and are doing their thing. It's unbelievable. This has been like the craziest game tonight. And it's now tied with thirty three seconds left at one thirty two hardens got forty one ten or fifteen the triple double. He's banging an an. Steph Curry's got thirty three three and six. Can you believe this guy harden is he not having forty point games every night? Now, like literally d think a mafia that he's jumped into or taken over the MVP talk from John Lewis, and all these others that they keep saying are the MVP. I mean, you can't tell me hardens not playing better staff. Durant? All of them are without a doubt. I mean, I haven't looked at it since when I was doing the show on Christmas. I know in the month of December one game where he scored less than twenty nine points. Every game was twenty nine. More. There's like a bunch of forty point games. The guy was on fire, and it just had to pick up ever since he's down took took the lead on completely on you know, that he's going to be the one with the ball in his hands. He's going to be the ones shooting, and somehow they don't stop them. He is averaging thirty three point three a game and courage to center three bomb. Unbelievable. It wasn't a three. It was a two. They're out to. Hardens got thirty three point three. Steve took advice to get back. Even tonight. Did I not tell you did? I not tell that guy. He wanted to BYU and Pacific. I'm like, you don't know one guy on either team. Now, here's a tip for you. If you've never heard of one player on either team in a college basketball game and you're betting on that game you need help. Okay. Another words therapy. Or you know, you got a gambling problem. If you have you bet on teams you've never heard of. And you've never heard of one player on the team. You don't even know the coach. Here's my advice. Don't bet on the game. There you go. So did I not tell him the best game was Golden State Houston? You did. What did I tell them to do girls? They Moneyline Hugh. Simplisafe. There you go. I got him at eight. But you know, look. I just think hardens unbelievable. I can't get enough of him. He's Laden curry second at twenty eight seventy realize that that's like he's twenty eight to thirty three to twenty eight. That's a disparity if you ask me from one. I mean, he's the lighting a mop like he's better in a d at twenty eight seven they're both at twenty eight seven curry in a D Durant's at twenty eight five LeBron's twenty seven three. I mean harden is doing it. I mean without a doubt, right? And he's also better than the league in in in dimes at eight point four. And I mean. The present. When you get a guy like that. Because there's plenty of guys that can score will do tons of things. But when you get a guy that can score thirty three points a game and still give a dimes where you could see that. He's not just looking for himself when he draws a defense. He can still find other people. That's what's more impressive to me that some of these guys that can put up forty a game. Isn't that annoying? Is there like I'm trying to figure this out? There's is there some fan. That's like talking to harden and getting in his face. I gotta keep seeing this guy with his big afro and the DC. Talking about the guy keeps yelling at him. What is that about? Here. He is with a chance to get the ball. Last Harry is let's see if hardened can make a bomb. Our game. That was just sickening. There's still a second laughed one second lap. But did you see that bomb shot? Chance. The way the way pulled up close guys around him look at this car, right? There's days doubled. There's two guys all in his face in his grill. And he drained it from forty feet to the ground. That's a thirty five foot shot at least what a bomb shot. Unbelievable. Unbelievable so much for the warriors on the money line. The. But I got to hit that rockets. Eight and a half, aren't I Bohm? The NBA Aronov every time I left, but if they do they move it up then half court Dagan get a shot off. Got plenty of time. Do you think the warriors can make the shot? I'm going to say that I'm gonna miss it. They can make it. But I don't think they're gonna in this case who's gonna shoot at Jurandir curry. Thompson. Probably five points and nine straight games. Forty points. Wasn't his last five forty four tonight. The guy's a freak brawl. What a shot the crossover Paul up with Thomson and green, and I thought green fouled him. You can't tell me. He didn't follow him there. You can't tell me didn't foul him. Here we go. I got to see this last play. Yeah. This'll be a miracle if they make this, but they got time to get a shot off shoots. It. Probably going to be from outside. You gotta go about defense. There's Thompson wide open. What are you doing? He not making sixty footer. He messed a terrible terrible. Decent shadow of the terrible hardening comes up big that is huge. That was unbelievable. He's a bad ass, bro. That is bad ass that game. He just put up. You gotta admit that is unbelievable one thirty one thirty four. I love watching them lose. Is there anything better than watching them lose the curry coming off screen coming around into the corner there? I thought you had him for a good shot better much better shopping to rank out. All that. Did you see Thompson was wide open going down the lane? He got to see it. Again. He was wide open. I don't know what they were thinking the guy was wide open from the right side of the pain into the down on the wing. That was an unbelievable performance by harden. That's like MVP stuff right there. That's a ninety won the MVP that that performance. He just put on at oracle, you disease lit too. He's so excited. He's now. He's acting like it was just another night at the office. But you can see as is his facial actually look out Lydia's. He's so let right now after scoring that basket he put on a show going down the stretch. You cannot tell me that he didn't get filed thereby green either. No, call he got fouled that should have been a four point play. That's all there is still and he got fouled. He got hammered. He got slammed at a ground. What a shot that was crazy. What a freak you cannot stop this guy from scoring. He's just absolutely unbelievable. The way he goes to the rack. Kind of looks like me, you spires that kind of game going to the whole trying to get into the trees and get it done. Son Bill that tree house down there about at Ramstein. Gotta get it done, son. Your boy harden going off against the warriors who seldom come out to play anyway, cover. I wanted to bring this up. The pro football hall of fame. Ballot is out. The class. So this is like the seven th you know, cut down to where finally. They start with about six hundred names. And now they're finally down to what is it? Fifteen modern era finalists announced tonight. So champ Bailey. Ed Reed Tony Gonzalez were named among the fifteen Ed Reed and finding solace or locks. Yeah. Those are locks the other modern era violence included were Edgerrin, James Isaac. Bruce Tylar Steve atwater. John Lynch, Richard Seymour. Tony Boselli Allen fan Steve Hutchinson. Kevin. But why Don coryell, Tom Flores? In addition. Johnny Robinson senior finalist, Pat, bolan and gillibrand contributors. I listen, I gotta tell you. I'm gonna I'm on gillibrand and Pat bolan getting in Pat bolan what he did in Denver to me is just insane. Only owner in history to have three hundred wins in his first thirty years. They want three Super Bowls and played in seven Super Bowls. Won't when he bought the team moving forward that that gets you in the hall of fame, if you're the owner and you bought them, and they went seven times and. To win three and then to win three hundred games. And to me, that's automatic. You. Gotta let him in Gil Brandt to me what he did with the Cowboys over thirty years was unequaled. And the fact of what he's done on the radio, and you know, still doing it still doing it. I used to work with him. I used to do a show with him every week on on Fox Sports radio with gillibrand. And I think the world of him. I think he should get in just for what he's meant to the NFL. If you ask me now, I'm going to start asking you questions here. Are you gonna I'm gonna like in terms of these by Richard Seymour? You let him in. No, I don't either. Ed Reed automatic Kevin Mewa you let him in. I don't know John Lynch. I don't they're going to let John Lynch in. I don't for what he's going to get in maybe not this year. But he's getting in. Right. There you go. I wouldn't let him in Thailand. Five time pro bowler three times for me. There's two corners here Tylar champion, which one jam Bailey. Celli? There you go. I'm fine with that Edgerrin James you let him in. I don't know. Steve hutchinson. Offensive line. There's three guys. They're also, right. There's fantasy Hutchinson in Milwaukee is after three offensive line. I'm going to. Tony Boselli in. I've had it was on the list. Final four times semi finalist. He's got to get in like I said it's tough when there's a whole bunch of guys at the same position. Steve atwater. I would put him in. A really tough grader. I carbohydrate tough on movies too. If you don't make the carbohydrate five hundred list, you're nothing stuff to crack. Bob, yeti of those guys that stand out to you that you want in that we mentioned. I'll give you again at water Basell the Isaac Bruce, Don coryell Allen fan. Tom flora's? Would you let Tom Flores in the coach raiders and Seahawks? Now when you got guys like Brent and bone in there. I mean, probably lion or Bailey our pavilion, would you put John Lynch in? Probably not debatable to me, your JAT Mewa. Here's a great offense. But it's tough to crack. Ed reads, automatic Seymour. Would you let him in? Now, we're not gonna let gillibrand Pat bowl looking both agree with you on that eight five five two one two four two thousand do you think Chris Carson can have a big game against Dallas? I'm asking you that question, we're taking your calls where do you think? Josh Daniels will end up as a coach and do you think Jared Goff? He wants revenge against the bears. Do you think he'll get it? And what do you think? No, Dexter Lawrence for Clemson two other guys suspended against Alabama. How much is that going to hurt? Clemson call the show eight five five two one two four CBS..

"Maguire, Ed re are nominated for the hall of fame. Well, you know, those guys are more just player undeserving to get in the hall of fame has just been Harold Baines will ever be since. I'll see you in hell Cole. Who else I got? I got I got Ken Griffey junior to he's on my squad. Jim thome? Yeah. Kicking ass by White Sox hall of fame inducted. Clear or research, and what have you got him? Sure. Yeah. I got his nickname the fat top of GU I you like that. Just to be clear. Ed Reed played seven two thousand just just to be clear on that still. We intercept bait. Denigrating the man's career, buddy. Now, he's a punchline. This here before we get into the NFL games coming up this week. And obviously the pro football hall of fame class in two thousand eighteen had three in Chinese were eligible for the first time. Now, the class of nineteen could have the same thing with champ Bailey. Ed Reed Tony Gonzalez, all among the fifteen monitor finalists are they all getting in most three. Yeah. I think so think. Some people. Make quibble about Bailey. I find that hard to believe. Got this. I think he's got fifty plus interceptions. And all the all pro and Pro Bowl. Clearly among the water, you know. At a given time. He was the best corner in football right for probably three or four years in for another five or six or seven years. He's one of the best three or four. So a long distinguished career. I don't think there's much of a debate. The one I wonder about and this is way down the line when it comes to this is really this because he was the greatest position prior probably three or four years. Problem is he doesn't have the interceptions. And so I wonder if people hold that against him. Emme ended his career badly. Got things. So I think those three guys go in pretty easy where where's the biggest debate? You think when we're talking about putting the? Offensive lineman take before offense, just go. We can't figure this out because they're all they're really truly equal in their own ways. But Sally is the most talented. Sure his career, right? So it's sort of Terrell Davis. Gale sayers thing we're trying to figure out where he fits in this. But he was less. Tackle. And he was I mean he's every bit as good as Jonathan at his best. He just didn't play as long as awesome. So he's great Fanta and Hutchinson are essentially the same human being. You know, among they're probably one and one of the best guards of their era. Mewa is he? He's really similar to Mike Webster in terms of, you know, great center, maybe not the greatest center of all time. And you know, he's not demonic Dawson. You know, he's. But he's right there. Among, you know, you're not doing Stevenson. But he's on that next level down legitimately a jet getting into the hall of fame. That's how you wanna put it. Sure. When you have no history for fifty years. I guess that's what you've gotta clientele. What was that? Stop. Well. Okay. History or no. You can't like. Would he takes the whole thing on Baynes? You can't you can't come back here and argue that the jets happening real history, some sixty eight. No, we don't we have. Hasn't. History. Todd comington what other garbage do you want to throw out there? I mean, please stop. Here's the house history time where you know, like. Yeah. No. It's nothing. It's it's it's terrible. I mean, you're if not for that one season the Detroit line, but it, but it happened. Okay. You can't say it didn't happen. For that one season. You're the Detroit Lions I love it. No. Here's the jets the jets history and he's wearing a bag on his head. Here's he's injured. Troy Jason Mr. Cole. He's vacationing in Detroit. Let me give you the jets history won't take very are. You are you going through the Ford hall of fame? No, he's going to go. Get some muscle. Hey, half my half. My wife works for photos. You're going to tell me that you're at least going up to hit cell. I'm gonna say this. I was gonna give you the GM, friends and family discount. The next time you wanted to buy a car. Now, forget it now window his best friend for five years didn't say crap to me about that. He's gotta ask me about. GM, friends and friends and family discount. I got got a sharp stick in the eye. Guano? Exactly. Here's the jets history. And I'll tell you the Dow this may I want people to listen to any of this is very big. Here's the jets Lucas Namus the butt fumble. Sam darnold. That's our history. So we got darnold is now history. Of course, he's the best first round pick this draft pick. We've had in fifty years. That might be true. Jason. And it's certainly better than Anthony back. Hey, you wanna stick around and preview the games where this for a few minutes? Absolutely. Course Jason Cole with us. It's the high point of this week right here on Fox Sports radio. We'll take a look at all the big games coming up in a minute. But I will check in with what's trending with Deb. Carson DC guys.
