Lower housing costs lower healthcare costs and lower taxes among countless republican serving in the colorado legislature to join in the commitment to colorado unveiling. We're both the house and senate minority leaders. Public safety is and rightly Rightly should be one of our priorities of state. Government house minority leader. Hugh mckean said. We cannot stand idly by as our beloved state descends even further into chaos. We all remember the boarded up windows and flagrant Flagrant lawlessness of the past year republicans will commit to working with the families of colorado to solve the rising crime. Problem keen said the third priority of the ten among what republicans are calling the big three is education republicans are committed to prioritizing not the institutions. Colorado tuesday and wednesday so the flash flooding threat increases again today in the mountains. There's flash flood watches basically for every county along roads of the divide. So if you're listening to us in the mountains and you do receive a flash flood warning please take seriously wrote move to higher ground immediately. If he saw my video at glenhaven yesterday holy cow was insane. How quickly like i said. It just turned into a serious situation that literally did it flash flood in a matter of minutes and it takes all that burn scar debris with it so you couldn't believe how black the water was too i mean and that's that's brisk tar it. Does it does and glenwood canyons. A mess to we. Were talking about that in a break. You know a flash flooding there. Thursday and friday a strain over one hundred vehicles you know. They had to come in and rescue people literally from seven eight nine feet of mud and rock and that's going to be closed for the foreseeable future. It's just a mess out there. It is and you know until we get a big weather pattern shift that drives it out and obviously it's a catch twenty two hundred eighty eight the drought but not at the expense of putting people's lives and it's just it's hard it is it is. I'm dying to see what's in the next teacher's contract dying to see. What the union extracted in exchange for just getting back into the classroom. Because the Democrats decided to step in and try to do something about Marjorie Green Taylor instead of letting the Republicans handle it within their caucus. I understand what they were going through. Leadership has to have leadership of imagination. You have to imagine the worst case scenario first. And plan for that, And then everything else is down from that. And one of the things I I feel strongly that leadership failed the officers. You had officers that were standing doing hand to hand combat. With these demonstrators, some terrorists they were doing hand to hand combat with him, and that never should have happened. They never should have got that close to those officers, and that's a failure in leadership. But you have to let protesters peaceably assemble, and at the beginning, Certainly people were doing that. And then it got out of control. You can understand the flip side of it, which is You know, the leadership thought this was really bad PR. You don't want to have cops with guns drawn. And you know that kind of look in front of your beautiful U. S. Capitol building so you can see how there's that it's that gentle, you know, tug and pull and they came down on the wrong side of it. It looks like Well, what one of the things that you look at, and, uh, law enforcement. We We want to make sure that people express their constitutional right. But within that you also said perimeters. You set parameters that you don't let people violate if you have a enter perimeter, which is a the capital. You should have outer perimeters that that should reinforce. That should stop anything and also allowing on angry mob to march all the way from the White House.
