"Customers on busy ocean drive. One man died in the hospital and another was injured. I've ever ducked and hid from gunshots in my life. Earlier Sunday morning, a second deadly shooting just blocks away. Surveillance video captured the gunman opening fire on a man walking on the sidewalk. Gabrielle arzola TV in Miami, reporting tonight. Sports at 25 and 55 powered by Red River, technology decisions aren't black and white. Think red. 9 25 here's rob wood fork. "Good morning New York This is the early edition of the taxman table try and catch the TVs here We get a earlier Sunday morning to let you know what's ahead is going on with us today is JP Miller from the empire report New York dot com We have Brian zagan from New Jersey Frank Miranda from the great island of Staten Island and martavius Roberts from mess or county Good morning guys Let's go first to JP Miller JP what's the hot news of the day Good morning John on empire port New York dot com this morning we have the trifecta New York Daily News New York Times New York Post all have on the front page district of Manhattan district attorney Alvin Bragg is under fire He's forced to defend his criminal justice reforms yesterday after NYPD unions and the city's police commissioner newly appointed police commissioner charged that his approach to what he deems minor crimes threatens the safety of officers and the public That's what people are talking about this morning John Now I think that is the big story of the day the big story of the week everybody is as mad as hell and they can't take it anymore because this is ridiculous I mean we want to precinct tranquility I don't know if you guys heard my Thing I put out about public safety and in New York Let's talk Frank Moreno I understand your DA put out an op-ed piece That's right DA Michael McMahon whose Democrat and not considered a conservative by any means wrote an op-ed for the New York Post detailing how unhappy he is with what Manhattan is doing and how Staten Island will not do that They basically he put out an op-ed saying Staten Island's going to continue to fully prosecute crimes on the merits of each case and they will never institute blanket policies which disregard the laws that are set up by the legislature Now on the one hand I'm employing Mike McMahon for saying that but on the other I'm thinking how sad is that that this is news It used to be just expected that all of the DAs would prosecute the law as it is not as they wish it was And that's the real problem with what Alvin brag is doing here is he took an oath to uphold the constitution of the state of New York and he's choosing to essentially disregard a whole series of crimes Well on the tax at night show here today we had governor pataki and he was the governor and governor Paterson and they both said as governors the governors if a DA does not follow the law or doesn't prosecute the law in New York State then the governors have the right to remove them or set them aside or something like that Do you think you can get enough votes to recall them or is it the you pick hope of has the courage to do that I actually don't For starters Bragg won overwhelmingly in the Manhattan democratic primary which huckle needs a lot of votes from Manhattan for her own primary in June 2 Bragg and the two candidates that finished behind him they made no bones about this back in June that this was going to be their agenda You hosted a forum on this subject and Brett and then you did a series of one on one interviews with Bragg and he was very brazen saying look this is what he's going to do and the voters embraced this unfortunately in Manhattan I think it really calls the question Now that's true But you pressed him I went back and listened to him You're old interviews You pressed him on prosecuting gun crimes And you said well look you're going to prosecute crimes right And Bragg tip joed like crazy and said oh we have to see what happens and what the circumstances are I mean to me not somebody that has any interest in putting bad guys in jail This is somebody that has an interest in being known as a progressive prosecutor like the one that's in San Francisco And he wants to let as many people out as possible The fact that he didn't just institute this policy quietly that he did it in a broad memo and made a big splash with this Shows you that he wants to be known for this This is not something he's ashamed of at all He is Roberts What do you say on your end I'm glad you came to me because I'm a lay it out like this When I looked at that ten page manifesto and I looked at what he was actually saying Basically this is what he was saying and I don't have a problem with his approach to governing or defending the law in this state Basically what he was saying unless certain crimes are attached to a felony He's not going to go after him And I'm going to tell you some of those things Things like marijuana He's not going to go after that Uh fair invasion Trespassing Aggravated unlicensed operation Traffic infraction resisting arrest obstructing governmental administration in the second degree and prostitution Those are some of the things that he was like you know what I'm not going really go after that So everybody who's becoming an alarmist about he's going to allow the criminals to take over the city The types of crimes that he's saying he's not going to really prosecute or hit hard unless they're part of a felony Are things that we're relaxed on anyway Nobody really cares about taking out prostitution or marijuana and all that other stuff I read about Nobody's really concerned about that We're concerned about the violet crimes And I still think he's going to be telephoned at I don't think he's going to be solved on that and let violent criminals roam the streets and do whatever they want to He was talking about nonviolent infractions So that's my opinion Well you know one of the examples we gave and maybe Frank can correct me if I'm wrong is if you go into a store take a gun put it to the guy's head and said give me all your money And the police walked in and a rescue which had gone at the guy's head You haven't fired the gun they give you a disappearance ticket Instead of a restaurant no I don't think you're incorrect at all John And to add some merch avius list of crimes there he's essentially not going to be seeking prison terms for people that commit armed robbery unless it's tied to something bigger Now I mean how can you say armed robbery is not a violent crime In my view it certainly is But it shouldn't be oh I think this crime is bad You think this crime is bad This is the law If you want to change the law run for the state legislature and push to amend it But this insidious way of just not prosecuting laws that you don't agree with to me that is historically never been the role of the DA and I'm concerned it sets up a dangerous precedent You Bill Bratton Rudy Giuliani and others have talked about the push that people like George Soros are making to elect DAs all around the country If Bragg is successful with this DBC movement in Manhattan I fear that you might see a whole bunch of brags in 50 states around the country I understand there's 26 of them in the country already and they're all funded by George Soros That's what I heard And it's very sad and I'm.

"Oh, Yeah. Yeah, This is real. That's no joke, folks. That actually happened. I saw the videotape. The audio tape is just as horrifying listening to it. In the street. She's getting whipped this poor lady, and that's what they think is business and, uh, businesslike and professional. Now listen, the former Obama Defense Secretary Leon Panetta. And also, uh, Obama's ex CIA chief. This guy named Mike Morrell, the two of them the two of them came out and they were they were. They were hammering Biden over the Afghanistan thing saying, Hey, listen, admit your mistakes. Take a listen to this. The most important thing for this president to do is to be willing to accept responsibility for the mistakes and to move on. And to basically do what is necessary now to protect our national security. The Taliban is harboring Zawahiri today. Taliban is harboring Al Qaeda today. Taliban winning the war in Afghanistan. And then the way our exit. Happened. Has absolutely inspired jihadist all over the world. Not only will jihadist be inspired, but a lot of them are going to come to Afghanistan to be part of the celebration. To be hard to be part of jihadist Central C. Of course, uh, the Biden people in the media. They want you to move on. As I played earlier Sunday morning shows don't even talk about Afghanistan. It was all about the vaccine mandates. And no but this and that and the other whatever, but, uh, but we're not going to forget. We're not gonna forget here. I'm not going to forget. I mean, it was dishonorable, disgusting Episode in American history. And good on those guys. Those guys are hardly trump supporters They worked for Obama, who was by the way is also complicit in this as well by releasing those those terrorists. In Gitmo who now are running the government in Afghanistan. Believe it or not, Today is recall day in California today is the big recall vote. And it doesn't look good necessarily for any of the Republicans Larry Elder leading the pack of Republicans, and then I think you have Caitlyn Jenner. Is second and right behind Caitlin generous Cox. So, but it doesn't look like any of them are going to be victorious, according to the polls, And also this ballot Harvesting is terrible. Ballot harvesting and the fact that they can count ballots that come in up to 17 days after today, up to 17 days, and the media again running interference that the gorilla, the Lady and the gorilla mask, the white lady and the gorilla mask, throwing the eggs. The media completely ignored that they ignored a lot of other things, the substance running again running interference for governor Newsom, just like they did with Joe Biden on November 3rd. Now, Uh, last night, Larry Elder. He was on Tucker's show. He saw some of that This got personal because this woman, rose McGowan apparently came out in support of Larry Elder, she says. That Gavin Newsom's wife pressured her to shut up about Harvey Weinstein. For some reason, anyway, Tucker asked, Uh, Larry Elder question. Listen to this exchange. Gavin Newsom. Has he genuinely creepy personal life? I'm just saying, I mean, you can look it up if you want is he's weird. Okay? I don't think you're attacking is sex life. Are you or his personal life, man? Aren't you stick sticking to the issues that seems like to me? Well, I'm trying to stick to the issues, but I will tell you I've been attacked as being a sexist and just day before yesterday, Rose McGowan, the actress. Who outed Harvey Weinstein says that six months before the big expose on Harvey Weinstein, the sexual predator Gavin Newsom wife called her on behalf of Harvey Weinsteins lawyer and said something to the effect of what can I do to make you happy? What can I do to make this thing go away? I have no idea whether or not it's true or false. All I know is that had been alleged against me. That's all I'll be talking about. From now until the day I die. But the Washington Post New York Times completely oblivious to this story. It's a bombshell story if it were made against me. Absolutely right. It would be, but the media again ignores it. So in that sense the election is already rigged. Right? It's very, um, similar to Hunter Biden, right. That was a bombshell story took her head that guy on for two nights and You would have thought that may, of course, his father the presidency, but it didn't And it's not gonna cost Governor Newsom the gubernatorial job, either. Today he's not only going to win. My prediction is he's going to clobber Larry older. Bruce Jenner and the rest of them labrum. And and, uh and I'm what basis I mean, Governor, French laundry, The hypocrite who who closed out all the schools and send his his his kids to private school. So typical, so typical. Remember back During the busing episode when they were, you know, busing white kids to black schools and black black kids to white schools. All that stuff all the proponents. They sent their kids to private school. The Kennedys, for example, in Boston. Yeah, we're all for passing. All the kids went to private school. None of them were sitting next to a black kid. None of them But this guy, I mean, with the homelessness, the crimes, the brownouts, the wildfires, the mismanagement of the wildfires. All this stuff this guy's ruined California. It doesn't matter. And Larry Elder. He made a great case. Uh, for school choice. I told you yesterday about this kid happened to read about it was in the New York Post this kid in bed Stuy. He passed the high school specialized test He got into Brooklyn Tech. He got into Brooklyn Tech. He's a black kid from bed Stuy. Now why did he get into Brooklyn Tech? Well, because he had two parents, a mother and a father there from Haiti that cared. And they were strict. They made him do homework. They wouldn't let him watch TV during the week until or until his homework was done on the weekends. Even they were very, very strict. They wouldn't even let him play sports until the seventh grade because they wanted him to focus on education. Education. That's more important. You're not going to be a basketball player. Stop with those silly dreams. I mean, let's just show the displays them real talent. But he also went to a charter school school choice. You went to a charter school. He wasn't stuck in these horrible public schools, and he had two parents that cared, and he passed the specialized high school test, which these woke stirs These woke supremacists tell you that blacks can't do, which is why they want to get rid of it right and screw the Asians and the Jews and then and whatever. Whatever The point is the school in the blacks as well. But anyway, listen to Larry Elder who's very smart guy on school choice. I support school choice. The number one obstacle to school choice is the teachers union, not teachers. Teachers Union number one thunder of my opponent, Gavin Newsom is a powerful teachers union. So why black and brown parents routinely pulled that lever for the Democratic Party that stops them from the number one path to escaping poverty, which is to at least finish high school is beyond me. I'm going to break this Jedi mind trick stranglehold that Democrats have over black and brown voters, and that's why I believe Obama. A and Bernie Sanders. And Senator Warren and the others have come to California and weighed in on this race when they cannot defend the indefensible record of my opponent, Gavin Newsom. I've got friends who live in California. One texted me just now. She's like, Yes, he absolutely has destroyed this, uh, the state and it just doesn't seem to matter because Democrats are going to pull that d level every time And they're going to find a way to, uh, excuse some of their own folks actions because they are Democrats first in the heat, Donald Trump, and that's my peer. I mean, I hope I'm wrong moving forward and we take back the house in 2022 when Trump jumps in in 2024 gets back to Pennsylvania Avenue. But right now, my fear is is that people are not looking at what's going on in this country. They remain loyal, loyal to their party and the hatred for the other party is still as as much as ever despite what's going on in the country today? Yeah, well, hopefully, I mean, that's the only hope is that that change is the only day it will be incremental. It will be slow. Uh, even President Trump made strides with the black community and the black vote. And with independence as well..
