"It was three a m. I was laying in bed asleep and the phone rang. It woke me up. I sat up in bed. Put the phone to my ear. Inn knew it was bad. I jumped out of bed. Got dressed hopped in my car. Hit the highway going eighty miles an hour. The sun was coming up. And i made a turn on the street. Where my law firm was. I pulled into the parking lot. And i saw my beautiful law firm burning to the ground. My secretary lauri also got the call from the fire department and we sat in the parking lot hugged and cried. I immediately started thinking about the workday ahead and my clients and my staff howard. The lawyers gonna get their files. Some are going to be in court and just a few hours. And what about the new clients calling my firm. That morning will back to that in a minute. This wasn't the worst fire. I have ever experienced by the way a couple of years later. I got a call in the afternoon from the person who sent me the most business out of anybody. He sent me seventy percent of my business. He was the guerrilla. Tv lawyer my town and he had never called myself on before he said. We need to meet today. I knew immediately that another fire was brewing. How to Work with a Professional Tiny House Mover: Pricing, Timing, and Logistics with Taylor Tefft

"Tell Taft. Welcome to the show. Great. Thank you so much for having me. You're very welcome I was hoping we could just start by maybe you could tell us how how you got into this moving tiny houses and and how long you've been doing it. Yeah. Absolutely. So in two, thousand, eighteen My father and dumb a good close friend. had. Stated that you know they wanted to get into the logistics business and really just start moving. Cars and trailers in different units all over. And You know I I wanted to work and do it. You know and help them. So when I first started out, I did a lot of research and obviously you know instagram facebook user big time in I started seeing these tiny houses that people were building and then I saw you know sometimes people moving them I was like, wow, that'd be really super interesting to help people move these generate. Deliveries to people. All over the world. and. You know about I'd say about six months in I really started getting in touch with tiny house builders on liberation top a top line of ours I reached out to them and just told him a little bit about our. You know our our company in really it just took off from there. That's awesome. So The company has been around for a super long time, but it sounds like you kind of specifically decided to focus on on tiny houses, which which is awesome. We need tie the tiny house movement needs companies to focus on US and provide solutions. Yeah absolutely we could see there was a need for there was definitely a demand and you have to make sure you have the. The right movers move your tiny home. You know that's your. That's what you're going to be living in. You know. Yeah absolutely. Yeah making sure you have the right trucks in. Took practice runs and learning the INS and outs of different homes but eventually you know you. You start to learn it. Awesome to maybe you could walk me through. What the process is like forgetting a tiny house moved I mean. We could almost pretend that that I'm your client. My tiny houses is ear inn in Burlington Vermont and and I want to get it moved to another state. Yup. Absolutely on so it really starts off just like that. Most people either call or email they find us on you know online on Google or they are recommended to us which we get a lot of those. So the first thing I would ask for is you know he'll built the tiny home and All the dimensions of the tiny home itself. You know what's the length of the unit is at standard legal with? In is it standard legal height and transport it? Would also ask for the weight. So. Does it matter if it's self built versus professionally bill? Though it really depends We generally ask for a photo of the unit just because we have experienced obviously some tiny houses are self felt. That may need a little bit more tension and you know than others, but ultimately we try and you know stay. Open minded and still generate a inefficient WHOA for them. Got It. So it's about evaluating the do. So what? Yeah. Actually what, what do you look at in those photos? What are what are the things that you're kind of looking at? As a transportation specialist to to decide you know. What you can do? Yeah. Good, question. So I asked to send you know as many photos as they can. So I can generally kind of take a look at you know the silent trailer that they use them. Only notice a lie on sell built trailers is still. Alive people, purchase old mobile trailers, which they don't realize you know a lot of times. They don't have breaks out they don't have lights. And Mobile home tires are not the same as like sander tiny house trailers that had entered tires on them. There's a large difference dot it. Yeah. Well, if if they're listeners to this show or have read any of my books or resources, then hopefully they're not buying a used mobile home trailer 'cause that that I agree is is not usually a great idea to take a plastic and aluminum mobile home and then build a stick framed tiny house on that foundation. I agree yeah. I know a lot of people they don't realize that or you know sometimes we do have people who contract with like self builders and just wanted me on my late builders in building their backyard which again, that's totally fine. But you know with that being said, we have to think about how many tires are gonNA blow when we're pulling a mobile home trailer across the entry in. and getting magnetic lights to attach to the trailer and. All kinds of sorts of different things. But ultimately, we'll still move the unit as long as we feel it's safe and You know still do everything we can.

"Unlike his father, so so I'm all about that, but understandably I know I get where you're coming from although I still keep waiting for. Henry and her to finally sit down for five minutes and talk this out and go and For him to explain well, Hey, cindy is the one who shared that photo on my phone. and. Not In Yoshiki, she gave him a chance to a little bit to apologize when they were together. For whatever reason you didn't take it. Didn't at all. He didn't I'm GONNA give him a little bit of credit. Even though I am definitely on the Anti Henry, bandwagon. He's got a lot going on in his mind I. You know not only beginning all these reveals. Father took about Britain. Separate. Segment but yes, uh-huh. And But yeah, you know you're lined up. You know talks about her love. She finally admits that she loved him. But you know. She threatens to kill him, but she had an opportunity to try, and she didn't take it. So I. Don't I don't think that he would follow through on that personally. No I don't either. I think she's working out of emotion. Yeah, exactly. She's understandably upset. Because Hey, you know of of. All the fallout from that and you know of that that picture of her being shared everywhere and the problems caused for her with her family and whatnot so I mean I get where she's coming from, but I think she's just right now. She's just feels hurt because mainly because the guy that she loved. She feels betrayed her. -solutely and she's right to feel betrayed. Right exactly so like I said I just I. Want these kids to like. Sit Down for like five minutes and talk this out. Absolutely and Hopefully, they'll get that chance at some point, but. Like you said you know Henry's going through his own things which we'll talk about here shortly, So. Courtney pat go ahead. So I was GONNA, ask you a question sure. I this is a minor quibble. Okay, but I'd like. You're feeling. Deep and I think I know your answer, but do you feel? That throwing the seven soldiers of victory in there is kind of an unneeded complication. We already have one team now. We're having another. Do you think they have to do that? To get Justin in there to explain that? When what are your thoughts on that? I think that they didn't go into too deeply. Yes, All they did was basically. It was Courtney Finding out from pat that. Hey, he and Silvester belong to this other team. Break the seven soldiers. Gives Courtney a chance to mock. You know guys like vigilante and Whatnot But he didn't eat. He didn't go into much detail with that. It was just more I think it was just more like. So it was it was it was setting up the explanation for later on when when Justin does finally become the Shining Knight. Okay like okay so. So pack and go well. Yeah, this is the guy that I knew back when I was a member of the seven soldiers. Enough. So I think I agree. I was I think it's teeing up at coming up future explanation, bottom line deal very ice. Yeah, so that he doesn't have to go into too much detail. That's very good. Yes, so we'll see. We'll see how that plays out, but like I said I thought it was a very cool Easter. Egg that ABS- absolutely yeah. And I really liked Courtney when she confronted Henry. We'll talk about that more, but I just love the fact that she kinda pointed out to Henry You know like. Look Joys Eric was a was a a great kid, a nice kid. Why aren't you yeah and I thought? That was really good line, so it was very nightline. Courtney. You know pat and Courtney again. Having this conflict of like well, PAT wants to talk to Barbara and lay everything out, so there's no secrets but Courtney is obviously against that. We get another dose of that here. And I still stand by my hey. Pat, be the adult. Yeah, and he does say that he is going to let no and then time. He gets to the way this time. Get the. Ultimate A. we'll talk about that 'cause. You know obviously it's. It's a big moment and. I'm sure it'll cause a little friction for PAT. But eventually he'll get off the hook I'm guessing absolutely right and then courtney with awkwardness of finding out that Oh, Hey! the guy that I think it's kind of cute, and is you know sort of interested in me might be the son of a super villain right? Yeah, so all right anything else about courtney padded the JC or or seven soldiers. Really no I'm good all right talking to this is the kind of the media the episode in this one, so let's talk about brainwave. And brainwave junior so. We finally get some background back story on the original. Brainwave Justice Henry Junior is coming to terms with his power. And the fact that they're still kind of. He starts to get a little bit of control over them in this one, and but because of. All this going on and and then encounters with Yolanda Courtney, He's kind of all over the place a little bit on this one. So, so, what did you make of of of Henry? Digging into his father's background. I liked that I. did this is probably very very? Silly of me, but I went. Had Henry ever seen a VCR before? Sure understood how to work that pretty quickly. You know. It's not hard really. It is so. I, Maybe saw an old movies. Yeah must be an old movie or something right I guess. If you saw dial phone, you could figure out how to use it quickly. 'cause yeah, yeah, because I've seen the like the old phones and movies where they have the separate receiver holding up to the Ear Inn, you've got the kind of like long elephants stick that you speak into so pretty sure I could work that out. Yeah, by did think that I did wonder. Hey, thank. You didn't want to digitize this. All these old VHS tapes This was a very effective way to tell. Henry Kings origin story show his sent into, if not madness evil right? A great point by the way his justification of why he becomes evil is Seeing the the evil, the the negative and cruel undertones of a lot of people, though and I did not write this down, let Courtney talked about there's also good right and you. If you dig a little deeper, you'll also find good things that people are thinking. Yeah. I think it's Courtney. That's going to be the one. That kind of keeps Henry Junior from. His father I think so too because you know the way she's she. Just when he starts to go down that road, she says something that kind of makes them. Stop and think a little bit. And like. Yeah, I, but the idea of hearing. when? Like when Henry Cain Junior's in the hospital room, and the the orderly comes by or the nurse, I guess. I never did like Dr King. Is? You, know isn't enough. Reason you should kill someone which he didn't but the the idea that he is kind of angers him a little bit because anger and. So he kind of understands why his father considered people monsters. Yes, once he once, he was able to hear their thoughts because. That you know he just he, you.

"He's chiming toys over her relationship. Say you're an astle now? Forcing her to choose toys over him, I would say. I mean I would say no, because he sounds like he's addicted and so I mean when it said something like you know drugs or alcohol whatever People tend to pick the addiction over somebody that care about. So. Now? My question to me when I read this I'm like this ridiculous. Nine thought what I do that. I have a lot of collections. Would well. Here's what I think. If it was somebody who I was like yeah, I've got to marry this person and went through the whole rigmarole of actually getting married, and then they're telling me to get rid of this I would probably have to get rid of my my collection hobby, because obviously this person especially for me to to break my I'm not getting married thing you know what I mean. Does that make sense so but in a regular like relationship? Not Married. I would probably be like you need to find some of you. Know I I, if you're not moving into my house so i. don't know what you care about what I'm doing. And I've been doing this since since high school since I was a kid in elementary school so i. this is not something. I'm just gonNA, stop doing. "Word. I guess I guess it is. I know there's like a stew a Hobo stew. and. That's kind of. Just a hodgepodge when we were kids. That was like a really common. Halloween outfit people would dress up as. You're right. That anymore. It's probably an insensitive. My Dad has always talked about the people that road the rail through Verona. He said he would sit up at the elevator. in Verona waiting for people to come by to bail. Hey, like people would literally drive through town and pick them up at the elevator to go bail, Hey! Just. So, what they did. He said he would sit up there with. Multiple other kids, and they would just come and pick you up and you'd go. Bale Hay and then come back. He said I didn't like I never told anybody like I didn't tell like my grandma. His mom like I never told her what I was doing I would just leave and I would come back at the end of the day after bailing hay with random people and he said doing that. There were times were guys would jump off the train and sit with them, and he told me a story of he shared a can of peaches. With a a guy that jumped off the train, he came over overhead Cana. Peaches opened it up and they ate peaches the. SO CRAZY WEIRD! The world is so different now. That's my dad was telling me a story the other day. And just kind of blew my mind because. When he started farming. They were still picking corn right. He did have combine. And some of the Farms He. Actually did the way we do it now, but a couple of farms were fifty fifty farms and the landlord. There was no grain bins. They had cribs so us. All the landlord wanted picked. Wire frame wire frame cribs and and the old. The old. Traditional Crib that they also had these wire for encrypt that they filled with the foundation the. Concrete Foundation. That's out in front of my house is from one of this so? He was telling me the story because he didn't have a picker. One of our neighbors picker, but He would borrow his picker, but he bought the head, so they kind of worked together at it. Yeah, so they'd go out there and. They would pick the corn. And they pulled like he went out and bought to side dumpty my wagons, which I still have. Specifically for this. They brought this head and they had this neighborhood the picker, so what they would do is they and they set up the elevator to the top of the crib. You have to fill it. So. The feel that the time like now a lot of our history, because my dad was a drainage contractor, but before then they weren't. They were super super. Super Muddy. So it really rainy year whatever? But the the corn picker. Would go through, but they would get stuck super easily because they're toting these wagons regular wheels on them. So what they do is they fill up a wagon. They would drop the wagon because you could apparently drop the wagon from cab. You can really hits been go. So my dad would, and so the guy driving the picker would philp wagon. They dropped the wagon. He would go forward about another two hundred feet. There was a little bit that you could store inside the picker itself. Okay without shooting into a wagon. And they would go far enough to get out of the mud hole and stop then my dad come with. The Massey with duals because you needed the dual get through the mud. And, he would hook onto the wagon. pull it up to the CRIB. Where he would have to stop on hook the Massey. Because, you can't pull up to the elevator with aside dump duels, so we'd unhook that. Would go back with the forty twenty. Hook onto the wagon just to pull it up. To get it to the eligible to dump it in the elevator and then on Hook that move it hooked the Massey backup. Take back out to the field. Why drop it? And he was telling me this story about one time. This friend of his that was running the picker. He was getting stock, so he dropped the wagon, and he pulled forward, and my dad came out. Did that hooked up the wagon? Took over there unhooked hooked. The tractor pulled it up. Open the shoot. One year according to. What. A guy in the picture was just laughing his ass off. Did purpose well. You had to drop it because he was gonNA. Get stuck yeah. Year corn and he had do all that switching around for that one thing just crazy I mean it's not that long ago. Yeah really it wasn't I mean. Follow all Gerry. Was Born you know what I mean like. It's not that long ago. He talked he talks about picking corn all the time and unloading corn from that, but like I said I've got a concrete foundation from one of the wire frame. CRIBS that they stored your Cornyn. He's like I. Remember Loading and unloading things right here at this. You know at this foundation and it's just weird that it's just kind of unheard of now to even do anything close. Just kind of blew my mind because I was thinking about in the context of course, I knew that my dad picked corn when he was a kid. Just when he was a no farming on his own right, you know what I mean. Yeah, and I just thought it was crazy now they still he had combine. That's why he didn't. He didn't have a pick because he had a combine right, so that's why the neighbor to do that. One farm because the landlord decade would this have been in the seventies in the seventies so? By the mid seven, we're. Still, picking corn at the time, yeah, quite a bit. He said because everybody was fifty fifty with landlords back then, so they knew how people just had cribs, but then you have to hire a shelter or have your own sheller which? Into that they they had you yeah, they'd come down and would tell it, but he was telling me it was actually great, because the quality of the corn was so much better. When you dried corn on the Ear Inn cribs..

"I. It is sort saying. There's a picture of that in the Civil Rights Museum Memphis I'll T- and I realized that Guy. Giving me the music for more than just playing in the four walls of my congregation would have been satisfied. That's all he wanted me to do but he was taking. What the gift that you're giving me to be able to be use wherever and I with us there at age fifteen nine you. My life was really something special. I remember courageous. Got Him looking at me and noddy and smile was like. Wow Yeah actually happening so when I was invited well when I left the eighth grade and I needed to go to my junior academy it was just across town. This junior academies. Oh what is it about? A hundred and three hundred and five years old at his. Wow but they had never had any African American students to come to this school so in one thousand nine hundred sixty eight my friend Melanie. I became the first African American students that were ever in that. So were ninth grade The very first assembly the principal gets up and says I understand. There's a girl here that can play piano. Her name is Gail Jones. We're going to ask her to come up and lick. I was nervous. This was my first time being insured. These up close and personal the White America Lonning I. I knew I knew we in our city. I knew when I wrote the regular city bus. I needed to sit in the back as a child. I knew that I couldn't sit in the front. Because that was not reserved for colored people. I knew about color. Water fountains restroom facilities. That were less. They end for Looks like me. I grew up not ever going to arrest shop because there was a place that would serve him. I remember growing up knowing to my doctor will People come around to the side door. Only white people come in through the front so I knew that so ran. I got a chance to go to this academy. I'm saying these are my cells. They have been to Christian friends. Shirley things will be different so I called up to play at the assembly and all my new classmates just jumped in sheer And I was like. Oh Kay wonderful. I realized then that gift of music was going to open doors and make room for me. Where something else would not so. I enjoy making wonderful friends friends. Who had blond hair and reate here and Brunette hero various shades because that was not something. I was accustomed to I remember. Running homeboy first day of school month is so how was it? How mom there's so many different shades a pair and I color or I didn't know that so I loved it and I'm adventurous. And I find found myself. D- join making friends with people and they enjoy making friends with me but I did experience some issues. I remember my tenth grade year. We had a special assignment to go out and pass out tracks And for as many tracks as you pass out you could increase your grade. Average in the Bible flat really. Yeah so I was excited at wet dot. You know. The next day was the they were driven out with school. So that I could go in. I was told by both my homeroom teacher and the principal that I could not go. They were afraid for a black girl to be in the crowd with White Students in Memphis Tennessee. And so I could not get the extra credit and the teacher says it doesn't matter because besides you have a average anyway. That's not what bothered me. What bothered me was my friend. Sitting next to me has c average and today he had a day effort that bothered me because he never studied. Didn't he didn't do the work in our realize they're always going to be inequality is always going to be injustice but I need to not let that stop me from being low us and stopped me from pursuing greatness so I would law on through it I could sit there and be angry or tried to speak out or do something so I just get rolling Left Ear Inn went to highland academy is important to the sea just above forty miles or so north of Nashville when I arrived I've witnessed because my my friends from Mrs Junior Academy we're going. There was just agile segway. I had so many wonderful phrase I wanted to continue going to school with them so while highly handy. I realized quickly I mean within the first five minutes I was. The only black student built like a chocolate chip in vanilla ice cream factory. Were you the first one and I was there. And they made up a rule in the handbook for me. They knew are coming. And there was the rule that said bow shalt not wear any outrageous hairdo such as Afros. Sure yes sir So I wore as many as I cool but I enjoyed my highland academy experience. I learned some valuable lessons. I didn't let Racial inequality stopped me from pursuing what I knew I needed to do. I was there to get my education. Most of the students were very tied in very gracious but Getting their upbringing and background literally would not fit next to me. Wouldn associate with me and talk with me because he had some know racial slurs and some derogatory words for me but I knew I could rise above that because I knew I was gonna see. My parents raised me to believe that I was no less or new better than anyone else that we all lit blue cross. And everybody's blood was the same color. Jesus die for all of us and so. I just didn't let what their ignorance. I didn't have to be direct because they understand. One particular incident was a principal of my academy calls me in for playing for Chapel. The song was Oh when the saints go marching. You allow me. Platelet yes please. It was chapel on that Thursday and the students love this song because I would lay it with all my heart so it goes.

Yes if you guys were not tuned in last week. The orangey God's blessed us or maybe cursed us With watching a toy toy story two on one and three so we ruled two one and three rolled toy story one and then the next week we use the orange again and got toy story. Three which was an unexpected to say the least. So they're coming out same time. They fit together toy story two did not make the top. Imdb to fifty list did not Do not guess we can talk about that in bits and I will say you know I did not watch toy story two. I was going to watch toy story two and three but I called my trustee boy Quinn. GimMe That T. l. d. w. gave him the facts. You know. It's just not even worth our time. If a movie's not on the list so many pieces of art animated feature films that we need to get to know my movie. Watching time has to be prioritized. They should have made toy story to better. You know and they would have been on the list and then we would have viewed it and yeah. That's where we are. Today are ground. What's Toy story three about three? It's a twenty ten American Computer Animated Comedy Film and just to give you some context toy story. Two was nineteen ninety nine so this is eleven years later on the film was produced by Pixar Animation Studios For Walt Disney Pictures And focuses on woody puzzle Ear Inn. Andy's other remaining toys Accidentally being donated to a daycare center while Andy is now seventeen years old. He's preparing to leave for college and the toys ensuing race to get home before Andy Leaves. Dont. That is what the film is about right and right off the bat. I did notice that they definitely acts toys. Some toys didn't make the cut. I think all the toys were in Toy Story. Two because not a lot of time has passed but in this movie. You know. Andy's going off to college. Probably ten fifteen years goes by and fifteen. Maybe eleven eleven. I guess it was keeping entirely accurate. Real-time yeah so no more. No more editor sketch. No more little Bo peep. Is that the shepherd that's a few remember from Toy Story. Won Her in. Woody kind of had a thing going on. Yeah the shepherds. She Girl Little Bo peep. Yes she shepper. "And that's what we want you talk about those changes new executives and axel new. CEO as well. What are the things you you use the word humility? What are the things that the club looked back and said not quite working right there? This is a whole half to be filled. This needs new leadership. This needs a new perspective perspective. What was missing from day one? You know if you're the one that when I arrived we we look at what was the needs. Where do we need needs to become stronger? What do we need to do? And if you're low were if you're in the lower base of spending in salaries well you need to make sure that you're scouting department is the best in the league right. If you don't don't spend as much as the others you have to be careful with that when what was happening is that are scouting department was very very raw in our spending was low and then that becomes more difficult than the recruiting side and then the fact that you change eighteen players. Because you want to go in another direction that you're not an expansion team you don't have expansion traff you. All live that makes the allocation money. They have no so all of that made it difficult to build the team with the the characteristics that you want can't but we knew that with two or three windows we would be in a position to grow a lot and that's what's going on right now What Axel is doing is is helping A lot with Greg on the soccer side we needed somebody more in the talker side and I think that allows us to grow a lot in the culture allows us to grow in building Scouting Department all areas that you need need to grow as a club in the effects of that has been very clear on our addressing the window our addressing becoming better and And it's there's a lot of clarity to their with saying the club still not what fans Ghezzi but WHO's working inside the club every day. It's very optimistic. We're where we're going when I look at the depth chart I see holes with every club every depth chart has holes right now where pretty UC holes today. The problem is you were if we would do this interview next week you you might have some day today day today in I hate. I don't want to specify position because then it creates all areas. Here's I William. Tell us that in the midfield there's area there's an area there that we need to to become better We need to become a little bit more dynamic more quality more options for sure Were still in the need of At least two attacking players you know to so say only cavaliers coming Ear Inn. We'd all dissolutions. It's not true you know and that that cast of okay. What was the the the other attacking pieces around him? It's important so did I would tell you. Those are the two biggest areas right now of concern concern and I also think that eventually in the medium long-term Wiegand need another centreback to to whelp. It's not a it's not an emergency now but looking at the dynamics of everything. I think it's GonNa be a narrative that we're going to look at eventually how does Lucas Carr's cavalier any change. What you're able to do as a coach? Look if you just go back to our last seven games mm sore. The team was or six games. Three wins two draws one loss. Our guy like toss ricketts just because because of his workload mentality helping the team press in the first line are much brought thus to become better. Well we wanted to get a player. That would be able to do that but also have more. I would say more success in the box. Lucas brings that Luca's proven everywhere that he could score. But there's there's there's something in his game his workload than is mentality and his commitment to what a team is that is very important for us. there's a play in the last game that we watched of Pueblo a Pueblo as up three nothing in a game that is over at the ninety second minute. Lucas scored the one and this and that game in assisted to and there's a play where the team loses possession and nee- sprints all the way to is to tackle an opponent when the game was done in a sign of commitment to the team regardless. If you were the best player that night or the time in the clock and we need more of that I think the game is evolving so much the intensity intensity level not only in Europe used you side with the Libertadores Final Revert Flamingo. So much intensity more and more in the game ah for for us it. It's non-negotiable players arriving at the club. It needs to be players with at very level of intensity in their game. We have one in your question for you and some of our listeners. Probably don't know the INS and outs as you do of course of Vancouver whitecaps and where you're going. What are reasonable expectations for the Vancouver whitecaps? This year we WANNA see grote and I'll give you a clear example San Jose then make the playoffs last year but we saw growth We want to see growth where we believe. There's going to be a lot of growth where that's going to bring us. We don't know for me to it'll be another co-chair that's gonNa tell you make the playoffs. Everybody says that some say MLS Cup but another goal that we have is Is Reaching Canadian Championship final. And hopefully win. We believe. That's something that is realistic for us to the Marco Santos Project Hoover. Thanks for chatting country very much much. Thank you very much all right. Ten minutes Daniel Royer of the New York Red Bulls and then he wrote a bird told me that you are a talker. You're on the field to your opponents. Maybe not all the time but certainly to one Anton tender home of NYC AFC. Is that true or false. It's a big pause more false than true okay. which part is true That we were talking trash field but Donna in general I'm not a trash around field. I'm pretty quiet actually More talking to my teammates than the opponents but there was a One particular game where he started talking trash so of course a tough trash back and then the following games that we had Yeah it just carried on K.. Don that things happen that way. Yeah what's your what's your style. When you're confronted by Anton Tenor home the trash-talker what are you responding responding with? Sometimes I don't respond at all currents I just think it's funny What's he saying? That's funny I can't tell you that's fine. That's fine yes. Sometimes I have to throw something back at him but it's not too bad I it's just you know a little trash talk. It's not getting too aggressive or doesn't go over the line now. He doesn't. Did you ever play with sows Izzo. was He with the rebels while you were there. So sal dislikes in Taunton home a lot. Have you heard his podcast. BILLION SOW PODCASTS billion. I have I've heard some of them all of them so they have a running bit on that show where South talks about. How Anton ten home is the most annoying player in major league? Soccer is trustworthy guy. Should we trust sows opinion of other people has he does he. Personalities pegged in this case. I mean I always trust yeah all right well. Let's just talk about the past. We'll let that go then. New York Derby have experienced him home woke hello tender home mortgages the Darby Darby are our greatest games I think especially for the fans. It's there's more pressure there's more excitement. And that's what talkers about you want to win the Derby. You want to be the team in in New York. Number One and games can get aggressive. I think it was never too bad. There's also trash talking but games are heated. An in those are games and I experienced that in Australia's indifferent Arby's that's always nice so this off season has been a quiet one for a lot of teams the rebels included. When you're looking at the goals that you have collectively personally? Does it surprise you that that more players haven't been brought in yet or do you try to keep yourself separate from that side of the business I mean the transfer period is not over yet spam. So I don't I don't know how to squad will look like at the beginning of the season but obviously I hope that we we put out a squad there. It's really able to compete. What's the difference between Jesse in Chris? I think there is a lot of similarities and they're very communicative. They always try to connect with the players. Talk to the players. Want to make players feel comfortable on enough to field obviously following the same style of play same philosophy like all the other ripple teams and and I mean that's how are you. I'm asking you because I watched the way you guys play. And I can't imagine the level of committee takes not on the field though that that is true but in the Times you're not actually playing to build up to that level like right now not right now just in general like when the season comes what is that a level that you were out in the past or is this a different sort of fitness than you've ever experienced before. It's a different sort of fitness. I think with the pressing system. It's just so unique and just different to all the other teams that I've played and and you know right now enough season you're trying to get back in shape day by day and a little slower but then when preseason starts you got to turn it on and then to be ready for the first game in March but audits. How's it different? Is it ability to have multiple births. Ah Game in short periods. How do you train it? How do you get yourself up to a point where you can actually be effective in that system? I mean you have to be mentally as well because you always always have to be in it and everybody has to press same time be on the same page all the time. But it's also you know about inner intervals yum that you have a lot of sprints in the game and be connected with the game with team all the time defend all the time and you can never like really turn off you can cheat. And it's that's that's where I think it's a different kind of fitness. Pretty difficult to explain for me in English but.

I saw some serious blood. It's all the way through a vicious paper cut so I'm just having lower the chair. He doesn't look normal or comfortable. Right now Foot has to be elevated there. We are all right. I'm in yeah no fucking So the surgery had yesterday. I am a pass out guy I pass out a blood I pass out when I give blood Lord I pass out all the time went into the hospital yesterday. Do like the echo scandal find. We're all my veins. Are My leg pushing it. Not just with the the hands nothing. She's like a you're right. You Look fucking Faint Mike. I'm actually now right. I feel like I'm gonNA pass out They laid me down and then for the rest of the surgery. Basically everything at one ice back on my forehead one of the back of my neck and there was a nurse just assigned to these little sippy cups of apple juice and Straw trauma melt doing that. I'm not you know I'm not great in those grade out but I I get mentally dominated by the hospital. I just do every time I go so I'm glad it's over yesterday. Went home put the leg up. have it hasn't been doing pretty good. I am a man child when it comes to pain management management after the fact. But I don't know what happened last twenty five minutes just I think too much too fast. How'd you end up occupying yourself during the few hours When during the surgery I had my headphone I had to listen? One Ear Inn headphones listening to music. Just heavy concentrating on my breathing so I went pass pass out deep in through the nose out breath loudly concentrated. Did they tell you that or just took that. Oh no no. They told me you do it. These people walking by Ruben Rea- what's IT stool teams. You're part of that to Tommy. Yeah it's it's it's a grind. I'll tell hey look. I cut my talk about injuries. I got a real scrape on my back today. I was air humping. I'd my back against the wall in the Green Room and I scraped my back into one of those stars around the Borstal logo like an injury star. I drew a lot I I been. I watch the stool team so stool team six and something that we created. And there's all the I really don't know how to describe stool team six so stole team six. I said probably on these. I'm sorry I can't look at you guys because it just all I've gone on through. Okay I know it's tough but if you remember a couple months ago like we gotta get on to talk like pay attention talk and all these craters content creators as as influences. Where the fuck you WANNA call? They create like houses. And all these craters going live together like hype House Flight House Logan Organ Paul has like team ten. Whatever like you know what we have all these fucking people here we should do like our own version of the house so quids who is like our are tick tock I and Kinda Gazza? Here's who we think is good to talk and it was like six people and they're called stool team six we're making takeoff videos. It blurs blurs the line. I think in your part time between reality spoof and like not spoofing I don't although it's a spoof but not it's it's impossible to describe I go in there for we're in there for an hour and a half stool team six so it's me Rudy. Mardi Kaby rea- Ellie and quits as our House Dad and every day we go in there and you can't tell what's real and what's not. I cried the other day. My character got a lead role. But I didn't so if I was really crying or not. I you lose your sense of reality. Quick and then having K B in the mix makes it even tougher. Because you don't know what's real and what's not with him to begin with so when he's in like this weird blogging character. It's like take a call timeout. We've a safe word where it's like. Okay guys like we have to get back to reality now but no. I'll only like a therapist pretty. It's very funny. I've watched it. Hopefully it grows. I saw a clip of fucking rudy put. Cereal in Marty's hardy's mouth important in his mouth like his mouth was the ball and then took a spoon and start eating cereal out of Mars mouth. Yeah and that's like a trend on tick tock that's A thing I refuse to be out one. But that's that's like something people do crazy fucking crazy. There's GONNA everyday we're GONNA make like a handful a tick tock. Funny it's like I watch it and I guess I know all the characters and even I am like is this real or not being. I like but it's interesting I can see all these houses work on seal team no stool teams and then the law and then every day. There's like a two minute video. I think the blog is Kinda the funniest part because that's sort sort of more of like the spooky part whereas the we're actually just making tech talks that some people would argue are like not funny like that they're just tick talks but for like the kids. He's like highschoolers wherever on tick tock like they see like all these other people do like today mean- Rudy and Marty. We just did like a dancing. Tick Tock like there's not I guess for stool. He's like it's funny to see us do it. But it's really not too much some some things funny for lame it really depends. I know look up right now and see how I'm on so I am on this thing. I think that the kids call Tick Tock S. T. six. Yeah I don't have to talk. I'm going to download the chuck. You're such you're so so I'm looking now I eh get called the boomer on Tikva. I don't even know what boomer means whenever people's like Ab boom. Yeah whenever people say that to me. I just think boomer sooner Oklahoma. That's literally what I think So seal team six. Whose logo by the way is awesome? Six thousand four hundred twenty six followers not a ton to be honest. The growth on tick tock is. It's weird like you need. Basically you gotta hit a home run gotta hit a home run and then they just start to come. Who's right now helping me with my Dick? tuck Marwan Marwan marijuana jr Marwan email me is like you have a bunch of old shit. That'll be funny to talk to you. Want Me To put him up keys to the kingdom. He hasn't hit any. I'm looking right now. How might tectonics? Nothing's really taken off that. He's putting on their mitek talk hundred and thirty one thousand followers. I think I'm the leading tick Tock I hear and if you ever post thrown I posted a call I had I forget who started it or why am on it I have. I'm looking at one. That has four hundred. Thirty thousand. Likes One So that's how you got into the jet stream a little bit with something. One of mine hit. I don't know why why they hit. Or what hits or what has to do anything to be totally honest. I think one of mine had like a million views or some shit and they'll take off like weeks later. You GotTa talk you posted two weeks ago all of a sudden just like take off and got a ton of it. Tick Tock is way different than anything that you would post on twitter necessarily. I mean we've been putting some of them on twitter and I don't even know what this one is. I didn't put it up there. It's from the chick just walks by me. I turn around and I say wow has one point. Seven million. These fucking talking's. They'll what they want to watch. It's IMP- I spent a lot of time on tick tock last night just trying to get in the mind of like a fifteen year old and start and I think sort of understand it but it's tough. It's like the stuff that you would think is actually really funny like more like bars like almost like a skirt like a sketch. Might not always play as well as it has to be like dumb. It's tough. It's tough twigs is. Got It pretty good down for stool team six. They're like a writer. Who like wigs? Does it right. Yeah I guess I mean yeah we come with ideas but quizzes like the director. Yeah pill like okay. He'll be like aren't here some Taku today or one of us have something like rewrote one today and then we'll do that. Yeah I don't see anything else even remotely close and I post a lot of them to it literally. I just girl walks by just go. Wow I don't have any idea that took off one of seven I don't Yeah Oh six hundred twenty nine thousand with Gronk is the front page. I guess I can understand that other kids even watch football anymore. I don't know I feel like there's not a huge overlap between the tick tock crowd and four hundred seventy two thousand one. "Hey we are live to Dell Callahan Day. I will do my company of one. podcast of the facebook live last week I did this did it. Incorrectly with on my profile page instead of my company page or whatever that's called fault so today were looking at is is the how do you start a business in. What kind of things do you get started so I'm going to do that? Live here in just a minute. Once I get on my notes point pointed up in a gym I see you over there. So as thanks you for Jordanian so we are so yet last week what I did this. I did Accidentally fit the profile page in in well probably made more mistakes in the than ever in the we tried it on. facebook live It was a disaster because the order. Something happened with the Audio. So I'm going to jump in here. Ear Inn go with episode one fifty four. So let's get started so welcome to the company of one an episode number one fifty four. Today we're talking about the first five steps to starting your own business or side-hustle whichever one you want to call it. Actually what I'm finding now people in a side hustle meaning. I keep a fulltime job and I'm going to go off and do something else on the side or something gig economy right. I'm old generate extra income through gigs. So well how do we do this. Whether so whether it's a full time business or household. What are the steps that you take before we want to do that? I'm on do with a high bid doing on the podcast have done. The last couple of times is just read. A shout out to somebody that's given review on the PODCAST Lanston and so out of actually a client professional graduate program at the university. So he says if you want to shift the the vector of your career and your life this is the podcast for you. Dell has a constructive criticism with motivation Asian encouragement and how to the company one flips the tables upside down. And we'll give you your self life and work is angles may be unconvincing in be denied. So thanks so much Adam. Outpost that to the to the website Adele Callahan dot com slash. One fifty four for episode number one fifty four so adam is one of these guys our a graduate program so he's a client through the graduate program and I'll use them as an example because he's got this hustle side business going and we've been talking about. How does he increases increases income because when it comes right down to it? That's what we want to do. Is We just want to increase the income. And I spend all this. I just can't even tell you how much time talking to people. And let's just say a lot of what they are doing is just just plain stupid and getting their advice from all the great things from great websites from great books. That are stupid right. So here's the two things that happened almost every time is we're going to write a business plan we're going to get funding and that's the questions I get is. How do we write a business plan? How do you get funding for your business? I had this question the other day the guys like. How did you get funding for your business? The says which one are you talking about. He's just in general. How do you get funding so I asked him the question? I was called his grandma's question right the obvious question that grandma would ask you and he said I don't know I don't know what I won't use the money for. So obviously he was barking down this Barking up this tree trying to figure out what to do he had no clue. This was as we talked on the phone that day. He had no clue who is customer was from the things. We'll talk about today. The other thing is writing a business plan. This guy it written a business plan. He had Some twenty five thirty pages of a business plan. You know where that's going in the trash right because nobody reads that the joke. But if you if you're there you know what I'm talking about so this that's bad advice. Don't go writing a business business plan and don't go try to find funding as a matter of fact the kind of funding that you should have should be zero in almost every business business If you don't have the money in your back pocket or in your bank account you probably shouldn't be starting in. So here's the here's what you do do need to do. And these steps are repeatable and these them if you ask entrepreneurs out there who are successful extol who had done things who have made money whether it's bazillions of dollars or some extra income. These steps happen almost most every week and is find a problem to solve. That sounds obvious. I know but it's it's just not I can't number of complicated queered twisted ideas that I hear and I know you probably see them to that just like insane you gotTa make sure the problem is for real people so for instance I wanNA help people take care of their lawns right. It's a real problem. People don't have time they want to yards to look great. I'm going to pressure wash their driveways. They get tired of slipping down in their driveways. Because they're mildewed. Oh Dude over. I'm going to reduce accidents in manufacturing plants by doing periodic safety assists manufacturing plant. Safety's a big deal. How do you solve it? I'm going to assist online marketers so it can be more productive by maybe being virtual assistant right. But here's the kind of problems I hear all the time is we're going to save the Environment Arment Okay that's great. But what's the real problem to solve all people.

"Us up at eleven o'clock at night and they're like here have some tea and biscuits 'cause you're about to you know attempt to summit the highest mountain reason why they do that at night so there's better weather there's better chance it takes between five hours ten hours to summit broke so they don't want you to do that during the day. 'CAUSE YOU'RE GONNA run out of daylight and you'RE GONNA be coming down in the dark. You have higher chances to hit whether so so they start you then and you wind up sounding at sunrise While if you're fast enough yeah we took eight and a half hours to get to the summit so We got to watch the sunrise just slightly below the summit but when you start in pitch black in. It's the wind. Chill is down in two zero or minus range ear in Ear Inn six layers of shirts in three or four layers of bottoms. And I'm wearing a beanie and a hat anabolic. Alex lava and a neck warmer. I've got ski gloves on. I've got six layers of shirts and in that episode of friends when he wore all of Ross awesome. I mean alternate Chandler's close. Yes and you're still agile enough to climb correct. Yeah and you've got your carrying carrying four liters of water or yeah. I think they made us take for that day. And you carrying your snacks an ear day packs somewhere between twenty twenty five pounds over your layers. Aw and you start your client so you just put one foot and for the other you have a head lamp on and all you can see our headlamps going up the mountain almost oh my God thousands because everybody starts at the same time Is there there's other groups doing this at the same time people everywhere. I'll show you pictures. The the most crowded camp that we had I think was five hundred people on camp at once. I mean we were a hundred people close just with us right off seventy one or whatever it want gene and you multiply that by five or six groups. You're done you're full. And it was the most lonely crowded place. I'll tell you what because everybody's in their own head right. There's not a lot of chatting the only talking you here is in Swahili. And of course they've done this one hundred times right so no no idea what they're really saying. These people are so screwed. I Know Roy himself into probably whining. God she made me wear pack. They'd never would have said that they're amazing. So we're doing one foot in front of the other and Twenty minutes into the summit night attempt. My water froze so we stepped out of the tent started walking twenty minutes minutes. I'm frozen cantering. Gosh Dun I'm sucking on the tube is not working. It's not worry inches ice crystals. I'm trying to warm it up with my you know and in the meantime I'm feeling sick sick again. 'cause we've hit seventeen thousand feet out of the nineteen thousand two hundred whatever it is so I kinda got a little wimpy and started crying. You know because I was like one more thing one more thing right in my guy asked you to make this easier. Yeah thanks this is not easy great. Yeah Aso I'm that's when I said out loud to guy I said I'm GONNA go back down..

"We including our mortgage two hundred and twenty thousand personally, my dad is a senior research enhancing the last fifteen years. Successor. In that process. He. He's the ear inn tour, and he wanted to take over the note and become the guarantors. No, okay. That's what I was wondering. No, I would not do that. You did not make this mess. He did how much of the notes. About four hundred what's the congregation three hundred every week? Wait. What's your annual budget? I'm not sure I know our incomes around a month. That's one hundred a year. Eight thousand dollars a month. Eight thousand a month. One hundred thousand dollars a year. And you have a five hundred thousand dollars note dad, that's a mess. Nervous about this. What brand what kind of church not an on national were personnel rations? Okay. Good. So he planted and grew it right from the living room to three hundred and a car Ghaith. But you know, I'm like should we start fresh? No, I want to pay him on her. I want to pay him honor. But I think the way the transition of the succession plan goes is that this congregation comes alongside the succession plan and paces note off. And we we put a fundraiser in place, and let's get it paid off. And let's get these folks where they're being great stewards of their money in their personal households. But also where we is clear this.

"And he's making them beautiful. And that's literally I feel like a year for you is he's made those things beautiful. Yeah. It has been you know. When I reflect on it. You know, I just. I can see like I said, I can I can really see his goodness and his love toward me in this year. So I want to tell our listeners, you know, the reason I'm pulling some of these things out of you is is I think a lot of times we deal with seasons in you know, it can be one month three months week typically seasons center or weeks or months, and but like we all go through. But but God is faithful like he always comes through mall ways because of his love for us. And I think we have to keep that perspective. One of the misconceptions I've interviewed somebody a while back. It was in their book one of the things that people say, it's not even scriptural 's say, we'll God doesn't give you more than you can handle. That's not even scriptural. There's things in life that it is more than we can handle and. But that's where he steps in. Yeah. And he gives us the grace for that or the right people to step into our lives to help us through that. I mean, he's always with you. And. You know? Learning. How to really listen to the Holy Spirit is really just an important part of you know, being victorious too. Because he does give you that supernatural peace in that supernatural ability to, you know, hear his voice in difficult situations. And what is that look like I'm just curious because I think not all people we've we've talked with the Lord for a long time. We've spent a lot of time trying to tune our ear inn for maybe for some of our younger guests that are when I say younger spiritually not in age. Don't maybe hear his voice or wanting to what does that look like for you in your life. When you say, you know to you into the holy spirit's like for you personally. What is that? Look like, I think, you know, I'll just speak to like what you said. Maybe they think they don't hear him. We all do hear him. But sometimes we don't really know how what we're listening for. But I think that the most important thing is really digging in and reading your word and spending time with him. Because when you do that, you know, he is the same yesterday today and forever, and so nothing that he says is going to be contrary to his word. And so I, you know, taking that as your guide and really beginning to know scripture and understand scripture, that's gonna be your number one guide to know, you know, whether I'm listening to the Holy Spirit. And then to realize that he has his nature is the fruits of the spirit. So goodness. Peace patients, gentleness, kindness, faithfulness, self control in love, those are all. Characteristics of who he is. So if you hear a voice it's outside of that. Or that causes you to step outside. Outside of his character or outside of his kingdom. You know, which is righteousness peace in joy in the kingdom. If you hear a voice that's contrary to that. Then you can know for sure that is not the Holy Spirit. And so you can begin to tune those things out, but you always have different voices that are gonna be clamoring..
