"However, within the step Eanet, all species at least as far as known up slide pollinated, and that's interesting thing because flies as pollinators seemed to have had enough force to drive the enormous diversity that receives in the sub-tribe and than you can ask the questions. How today specified specialized on different slide groups to still achieve pollination and y'all. Yeah. Thinking about the recent tax on exchanges, which caused a lot of stir in I still see people complaining about, which is a totally different topic from what we're talking about today. But to think about like you said, this idea that most of them, are, if not all of them are -tracting flies for pollination require them for pollination. But so many different variations on that theme, I could see where that would breed, a lot of really great hypotheses to try intestine. That's really kind of where your work seems to be fitting in as you've spelled out for us. So it's you mentioned something that is really intriguing. It's the thing I love the most about the syrup Lia while what is historically called syrupy JR is a genus, this pitfall traps in people recognized pitcher plants. I mean, many people have seen them and understand that pitfall traps are really good at trapping insects, when you digest in eat them. But why would a flower wanna trap, it's pollinators? Yeah. I mean it that's a really good question. And there is the hypothesis that cheating actually a reduce the costs of off reproduction, so Interros chess, as far as known, I always have to say that because what we knows still too little. But as far as known they would reward their pollinator, so there is no nectar that you can actually call the amount of nectar, if president all is not enough to feed the pollinators. So this is why probably a repeater has to trap the flies to bring them in to contact with the guidance Teagan with reproductive organs long enough to get the pulmonary clip to the mouth parts. So the fact that it's so complicated or the, the plants, so complicated structures requires actually long handling time of the pointed to actually pick up the pollen and transferring to another hour. So if. Imagine that you don't want anything that would keep a fly interested. They would fly off before even getting these pulmonary clip to remote parts. But if you track them than this probably prolongs the time and highest the chance to actually get your Poland onto the pollinator. I love it. This is like a tricky flowers. This is all ruse right in, it's this wonderful example of how pollination is not this altruism, given take it is literally each side, trying to get as much as it can with giving as little in return in as you said, deception is one of the best ways to do that. Because now the plant may invest heavily in some sort of compound or structure, but it's not giving up valuable nectar or moisture or some sort of reward to these insects. It's just tricking them, somehow at true. And I think if you consider that a fly actually a pretty good pollinator group to cheat on, because flies have really short lifespan in general. And if you trap them for like in most species about twelve to twenty four hours than you would consider that, for the flight, as a major loss of Offit nece, if if you are for one day of your short life span Trent in lower. And if you consider also that these flies are track. That under false circumstances, so that they are attracted, for example, thinking that they receive food food source or Lovie position side.

It's at the splash pool with the hap salute picturesque setting of the MGM grand behind it. And it's it's gonna be just a blast free meeting. Read afterwards completely free to the thing. And that's one of like the big things that the group really likes to do especially me neck, and yeah, I'm looking forward to it. Obviously, we're calling it the ticket announcement party. So that's what we're gonna get into. That's the the content, and that's the you know, that's what I'm really looking forward to presenting fans is a win. How we wanna do everything we can to get tickets into the, you know, into the right hands. We we learned a little bit about are on sale with all in it. And you know, things that we would have done differently, and we're taking that. And now, we know we're going to apply it here. We've got a great team. Helping us to out here. Just to so many folks, you just have such good experience. You know, twenty of them yourself in the industry, and man, I'm dumb. Glad when they ask us questions and wanna hear what we're thinking from creative end. And I'm glad we're able to lean into them and ask them about the production and the disticts just she's real staring at the moment. Very much a team effort to if you if you want to be successful, and what the hell which for the game didn't wanna win. So that said what is what are your realistic expectations for the the final at the end of the night attendance for your next venture there Vegas. Well, that's that's a great question. And right now, I have the the building MGM grand Gardner Eanet me. Matt Nick, we scaled it for eleven thousand six hundred that's with you know, some folks, I know there may be some seats that become available because if we thought we had a camera there, then we kill that might open up a few hundred seats. So I could you know, strongly estimate where aiming to hit that eleven thousand six hundred. We wanna be honest about our our tickets from day one 'cause it's real easy for people in this day and age just to look it up just just to talk to the fire marshal. You can't really say we got a hundred thousand people in the building anymore, unless you you have you know, and. Yeah, Levin thousand six hundred is the the number. It's funny. We're kicking ourselves ever. Call a double or nothing. We couldn't find a building that had twenty thousand you know, that compete with the ten but is. You know, this building just got wrestling history. I went through Debussy w pay per view year, Matt and Nick did as well. "I just got a note saying this is going up on Amazon on Monday, right? And if you have any changes to the the summary, let us know immediately and an one I saw it I smiled and add soon as anybody sees the cover with a lunch bag being taken in the title. They smile. It's a better title. Why? I knew you were going to spare my feelings. I just got talked about not being sensitive tidy as yeah. Yeah. It is a really good title and far better than mine. That's why they do some of the naming there because that that happens. But there hasn't been a book written about the fact that this is a competition. It's a zero-sum game for most of us. We don't swim in a blue ocean. I love the idea the blue ocean strategy. It's great Eanet slicks be Airbnb come up with something that's gonna be market, right? Yeah. Try it. But what about the eighteen million people that are in sales right now who don't have the opportunity to go in and create some sort of compelling differentiation that makes a new market where you're actually going to be able to sustain that without having to work hard and without the salesmanship necessary for a competitive displacement since the gap in I spent most of my time working on this. You know, over the course of a lifetime. It's really all I've ever done. I've never had a lead. I've I've never had anybody generate leads for me or give me lists. All I've ever had was. List of targets of people who I knew I wanted that I had to go get somebody out of my seat and take that from them. So it's what I knew. And it's what I've been leading to at the first two books was trying to get to this point where I could start sharing the concepts in this book to say a few can be somebody worth buying from. And you know, how to control the process and create value for other people and help them make change the new can go and make the most significant change, which is I have to remove somebody you've done business with for ten years to come in. And give you the better future that you're going to need right now. And that's the book that I wrote I looked even a little more broadly though, because I think that that there's some people might read the. Title is the thing. Okay. Well, I'm just trying to displace a competitor existing competitor. But the fact is any sale situation. I think almost any short of the blue ocean side, there's an existing solution. Having to displace that existing solution. It could be the status quo, but I'm never never gone into a place advocating for change or I'm not displacing some way of doing business in even more than that. You know, you you get a limit to the number of pages you can put in a book, but there's another there's another couple of chapters. I have to also displace what you think your priorities are right now. So you walk into. I'm also displacing. This is my number one. And number two the idea that you come in as number eight. How do you move up that list? That's another. That's a whole different conversation. But you're right. You're displacing something. Yeah. It's it's and I think, you know, given the high rate of no decisions the people getting their pipeline some it's just bad salesman. Salesmanship if I can say that. But the other is just Bingaman compelling reason to buy it and create value for them to say, look, you should be making the change. It's worth changing. Yeah. In in they're switching costs. And I think we underestimate switching costs, and I think we underestimate how difficult it is inside companies to get consensus. I mean, I think it's very difficult. You have a lot of competing interests in almost the more people that get piled into the process, the more competing interests, you have and it's easier to say we also have to work together. So let's do nothing. Let's just kick this down the road. And we'll look at it later on rather than having to have these difficult conversations that you know..

"That's the only thing you can do. But it's always there. He noted that's really beautiful. I love that approach your mentioning kindness, and sort of mindfulness like you talked in your book a bit about mindfulness and compassion as being sort of necessary starting points for any behavior. Change some curious how you came to that philosophy. How that you think functions with people's relationships with food? Yeah. Like, I just. I mean, I'm a psychologist are it's we can't actually change stuff until we understand it. So another analogy, I'm good with. When people stop therapy die coming and so Mattia in a town in new deriving biz nurse straight signs is Niger Pius. He just kinda driving along discoloring the straits when a tightening, and that's kind of what it's like Aaron thinking. So we think all the time and thoughts just occurring naturally in just typing. Spices Wibble aiding them. So I that's way, it might take off and succumbing to therapies imagining that you could kinda get in a helicopter and hover above and look down. At the town. His in applying something new looking down you can say in town. However things connected where it's all located. So that as mindful awareness, it's it's simply observing what's going on in your thinking at that point. And it's looking at it from above as opposed to banging Eanet and believing it because from that sort of swat detachment, you can get a choice does that make sense? Absolutely. Yeah. Yes. You're not just sort of sucked along in the usual pattern of how things go it's you're observing. And and seeing oh, I could take this route over here, or I could go this way, and that would be a different outcome and just having that kind of ability to choose. Yeah. And also to detach because so if you're looking at aiding stuff, so you might look at five as my Subah of free prison. Michael. Michael roles, and they is that roundabout of self judgment that constantly on the late and saying it like that can make a difference because hike myself what I did on the weekend. You can get in the helicopter and look down inside. Wow. I'm really judging myself like that stuff in my mind is really trying to get me for what I deed yet observed the judgments not criticize yourself for the judgments, but just notice what's going on notice. What's going on non-judgemental AM in the self compassion angles? I'm mindful awareness instead of simply trying to observe without judgment and compassion brings a real element of wolf to that hall prices sorry 'cause compassionate date. Dan, just desire for the wellbeing of via self and of the papal. So sometimes if I'm getting a little bit descriptive. I'll change it from a helicopter of like, the some they hit the sunshine. Will lay on the town and tries to look after the pain the difficulty the stock notice, it's just it's a big source of wolves unconscious that just say's what's going on in these Arpan it reading it's going on witness designed look after it. I love that. Can I think sometimes we I mean, a lot of us are raised in very critical families in our culture is so critical and like so many structures in society. Make us think we have to be disciplining ourselves and punishing ourselves if we do something wrong. So that will stay in line and be able to do better, but actually discipline and self punishment aren't effective motivators and don't really help people have intrinsic motivation and do better in the sense of like if they've done something that they feel is out of line with our values. Shifting course and bringing yourself back into line with your values. Like, we don't actually need to punish ourselves in the way that we punish offenders in the criminal Justice system. Right. And take them out of society and punish and shame. Like that is not you can see that in the criminal Justice system. Too has not an effective rehabilitation for people who've done something wrong is not a good minor vita in the longtime and compassion..

"And another thing that I think helped tell a story right over trying to craft a narrative around why were predicting what we're predicting. I. Do that. What for is going to start their lineup for the fourth consecutive game. So for all three of their wins thus far, they've had the same lineup and they're gonna stick with it. For one more time, everybody's healthy. There's no suspensions. They play four to two, and they get a lot of their with from their outside backs, obviously gives some freedom to Peru, like you mentioned to kind of find those pockets of space where where he can pick up the ball and kind of do his thing, and it makes them harder to market and do what he wants to do. So that'll be a big, big test, I think, for Spurs in deciding who is following Pereira and, and you know, he's keeping an eye on now. I think Erick dire. Sounds like the guy that will probably do it the most deli. But ultimately, yeah, it's gonna be good game, and I'm really curious to see how it responds to to finally plane a team that has as much quality Spurs. All right. So we'll move on to Burnley in United, which I would say is the second most compelling game. Obviously, anytime Josie. Marino and United is playing, it's it's automatically compelling. So the all important question I think coming in is say, Burnley somehow, pelota win here can Josie survive. What do you think the out? Oh, man, no, yeah. I think I think he's in this gets back to the bigger question of. Do you want to give him another transfer window? That's really the big decision. I think that that Manchester United's board and Edward need to decide because he's such a demanding personality and he wants to win. And he knows that there's probably players out there that if they just spent, they could go get an, it'd make his team better. Now, we could argue that if you one of the best managers in the world, then you should be able to get more out of the players that are already at his disposal. And I don't think he's done that. I think that's probably the most frustrating part is you have some talented players. You can't say all I have shitty centrebacks and that's why we're not winning games. Right? You have probably the best goalkeeper in the world right behind them. So you know, I think how man it's frustrating because I feel like he doesn't wanna get his centreback exposed. And that's why he sits back and play defensive. And I was there was a little bit of method to his madness about it, and then he plays against Spurs and he's he, he doesn't do that. He leaves centreback exposed and see how they do, and they ended up fucking. And they lose three zero office stuff that you know either not might excuse me not marking tightly on US F piece or poor one v one defending or lapses in concentration, just frustrating. So I don't know yet you I know things silver lining there. They weren't that bad. They weren't that bad, but they don't have anything to show for it. And and you know, I think there's a lot of positives to take out of that game as as they're trying to do in the spin zone as you call it. But. But the but the end of the day, they still need to make the place to win games. Burnley. On the other hand, though, if you're open in. Yeah, it's been not good, and I think they're learning and their fans are probably learning. I don't know if we wanna qualify for Europe anymore because it's not as fun when we're playing in the league. Yes, they're coming off another Thursday or Spurs game this week. So they'll again come in, you know, slightly tired. They just don't have enough bench depth really do a lot of rotation. So I'm leaning towards mighty mighty United for this one. It won't be pretty, you know, you can count on that, but I think they'll pull out a shock w this weekend. All right, I got. I got Marino Eanet opponent porn result in this one..

"Eating you have to crowd out the bad so not just like folks okay i can no longer eat meat and dairy so you're always focused on eanet action yeah i can't eat that cheese i really want that cheese it's like focus on the things that you can't eat if you start focusing on the things that you can't it'll just get crowded out all the bad stuff will be crowded out all the good things out into your diet that's a way better way to look at it than saying so no one listened to me this is why i'm saying chelsea's much more knowledgeable and that's how a lot of people think of it too is like it's just what you resist persists so if you're constantly with anything in life yeah things that you're trying to i can't if you're trying to stop cracking fingers if you're constantly i can't fingers can't crack me fingers can't like he want to all you're gonna wanna do is literally it just made me want to carping i i just just did did because your mind just kind of works like that you're focused on it so much so if you are trying to be vegan or plant based or vegetarian or any kind of way of eating the best thing to do is focused more on what you candy and like exploring and having fun with it and maybe just trying meatless mondays my dad always says it's the best option available so if you go to a restaurant like you said like and there's nothing vegan like just go for the best option available no lightning is gonna come down and strike you for eating chicken nugget you know so anyways okay i want to jump into do you have any last minute thoughts about that i mean we can talk about it no no i saying i i know a lot of people want to to start maybe being more mindful but they're just like so overwhelmed by the idea even i was like oh my gosh that's so much to give up and like even people say like it's just hard i don't know i eat greek yogurt every morning for breakfast in yours thing just keep eating greek yogurt and then like you said maybe just maybe also by dairy free ogre and see if you like it yeah not though cares just eat your greek yogurt right it's just about trying your best and yet the best option available yeah i think we talked about this before too it's like if you're not going to do it in the next five minutes you're not gonna do it tomorrow so if you're starting now like break it down to smaller steps okay so actually before we go into the pros and cons have six ways to practice mindful eating so listen to your body and stop when full that's something that's kinda hard that's what binging is from when i didn't know that what the heck full matt yeah why did i just ignored it but nowadays like you get to a point where you start listening to your body and when you're full you no longer want the food sometimes when it's something super good you like take two or three bites out yeah but also i heard that when you are heating and you take like a really deep breath at a restaurant like that's when you're full like you to listen to your body's cues literally has physical things that it does and also eating when our bodies tell us to eat so when our stomach's growling that's leary way that our bodies telling us to eat yeah your body will tell you what it.
