Bill O'Reilly Describes the Radical Left's War on American History
"It seems that the American people remain in a place where they want you could call it common sense, but they just want real results for themselves and it's been an obviously very turbulent and chaotic last couple of years. There's also this massive war on American history, which I do want to get your thoughts on. You wrote a phenomenal book killing Lincoln, killing Patton, the whole series is incredible. What is your personal opinion or your analysis of when you start to see public high schools in San Francisco renaming schools that have Abraham Lincoln on it? Where do you rank the kind of deletion of American history on the hierarchy of things we should be concerned about? So what happened was this once the progressive left, the far left elements who want to destroy the fabric of traditional America. Once they realized that the corporate media was going to enable them. And that became clear after the George Floyd situation. So once the progressive left said, we can take this to the limit to quote the eagles. And nobody's going to criticize us in the mainstream media with the exception of Fox and a few of the conservative outlets, talk radio. So we can run wild. So what we're going to do is we're going to brand all the founding fathers, all of the Titans of American history as racist, who do Abraham Lincoln. They're all races white supremacists and they exploited people of color and that's what America is built upon. I'm not built upon freedom, not built upon pursuit of happiness. It's built upon racism.

"Schedule again. Broncos cards will stop and Seahawks. It's packers. So it's only it's only two of the best teams in the NFL out of the 5. 5th Vikings twice. They're not the Vikings. They just beat the Vikings. Yeah. And they lost to him by two. I mean, look at these scores. Ravens, they should have won that game, Vikings game, eagles wasn't close. Steelers, they didn't get outscored by the Steelers. Sure, they'll say that comfortably. Brown's game, the bears, the Thanksgiving ones tough, but that's always a way worse when you screw up time out during the Thanksgiving game. Because then everybody's like, oh, you're the dumbest human being that walks past the earth. Although Campbell's explanation for why they call the timeout, saying the wheel route was wide open. People of course went back and looked at immediately. And it was pretty convincing that it wasn't wide open. But that's all right. Put my money on. Give me golf, give me competitive against two of the Super Bowl favorites right now. Smart stuff. All right, I'm not telling the portfolio always makes sense, but I'm just trying something a little different. I like the Wilson by. I just don't I'm over it. I'm over the whole thing. He burned you. Yeah, you lost a good amount.

Get out at the nine eleven memorial massive. We had for a few weeks after nine eleven. Someone came up to my mother and said i'm alive today because of what your husband did. Ten people bruce eagles in supervised made it out. He did not. You know it's been really tough because it's a bittersweet memory of my dad. He had every opportunity that he could've building. It's almost you know the selfish part of me wonders. Why didn't he just get out. But then now the proud part of us is you know he really did. I hear that day. The eagleton's are among eleven hundred families who share an unwanted bond. Their loved ones died at the world trade center but have not been formally identified. We've never recovered him Not not even a trace. Many of the human remains recovered in the wreckage were damaged by jet fuel and fire but the new york city office of the chief medical examiner made a solemn promise to identify as many as possible in the last two decades dna technology has improved and forensic scientists are still trying. My family along with many other families are still waiting on remains to be found now again added to the pain and misery. That day is that we're still waiting for word but at some point sort of just have to make a decision to accept. The fact that he's lost
Democrats Move Fast on Biden's Marxist, Multi-Trillion Spending Bill
"That can unify the party with the White House, swooping in at times to resolve disagreements, two sources Familiar with the emerging bill said. We're at a place where the rubber is hitting the road in terms of shaping the policy and fine tuning everything and really racing toward those deadlines. Said a senior Democratic aide. Adding the Senate hopes to vote on the bill by September. 27. If you ever use your phone to call Capitol Hill now is the time texts, emails, cinnamon and and mansion. If you're in Arizona, you're in West Virginia. You better You better get on this. Get on your toes here. The aide said. Democrats can move rapidly because many of the policies have been developed over the years before they became part of Biden's 2020 campaign. Yeah, Bernie Sanders. That Bernie Sanders. You don't want to give amnesty Total Eagle. Aliens should believe in a diversified voting system, not a centralized system to help the Democrats and on and on and on. Obviously you support the rich. Leveling the playing field to ensure the wealthiest in corporations pay their fair share. Well, why don't you just pass a tax bill then? And by the wealthiest I don't know what they mean. But the top 5% pay like 40, or 50% of the income taxes in this country.

"This is suppose supposedly this is going to be his last year. Nbc and the other thing is he can. The amazon game is going to be produced by the nbc team. Okay by the nbc director producer. The guys that he's familiar with right so out. Could now's not gonna do every sunday night. It's going to be like glacier rico. Did about three or four or five games last year. So i think they're gonna have that same deal again this year. I will say i have to say this is not just because i'm friendly with them and i've known him for years and not just because you had him on and you're friendly with them. I an eagle needs to be for the betterment of the viewing audience. He needs to be on a prime time game. I mean he's he's made for monday night. Thursday night. I in eagle at some point. Give us what we want. We need it i. It has to be on prime time. It's great for cbs. On sunday afternoons. I understand that he's got to be on prime time at some point soon. I don't disagree. The problem is there's not. There's no jobs out there. Nanjing mentioned that that might be one that could. Yeah but if al wants it then he probably. Here's what's weird. What's weird is like this new thing. Where like these networks. Get someone waiting like the reason. Nbc wants to have. Al may be retired because they have to rico waiting right. I guess it's weird. It's very so like if If nbc's he's very good and it's not a knock on anybody else. Even steve lieber thought they're nice job among any football. I in eagle. It's almost like he's under appreciated. And i feel like if he's on a prime time deion like that he will get the proper. I don't even know if he wants to do that. But beyond i love alabama he he basically said he would want you know he would. He would monta gig if it was offered him. The who but who knows is cbs. Would let them do it. Although you'd probably have. And i don't know what his contract is. I thought i. They extended him just resigned. Yeah yes and you know better. He's music for prime time. What we need we you. I'm telling you if you don't know even the brooklyn nets. I love the nets. I don't like watching the nets. I watch it specifically you talk about watching a game because of an announcer i-in eagle is probably the only announcer that will make me want to watch a game that i otherwise would have no interest. I have a few out there if i hear rafter doing a game. I'll leave it on for a little bit more of us to make me listen if harlan's doing an nba game. I want to hear him for. I'm not listening for three. I obviously you know drowning. Susan here in new york i get locked it on an as well i know you love. I listened to the radio broadcast. I enjoyed john and susan john john. I predicted his run. Call for anthony. Rizzo would be. Nobody is any went to at the second night. You don't mention that..
"eagle" Discussed on Bleeding Green Nation
"The the the regular eagle had is fine. I don't think it's silly adad go. I'm actually unique in. It's like one of the the only low vote in the nfl. I wrote without once apostatized facing one way. That's facing left. Some people were trying to talk to me about how the daniels tire head faces last. Well that's not actually the real. The real logo is the beat. It's not the tire hip. I'm the eagles have as their primary logo. And it's also funny because yeah there's like the you can actually see the letter e in eagles logo like on the right side. I don't know are yes but like i don't want to give him that much credit even like it's fun it's a fun easter egg for fans. Those things that goes up on those facebook means pages like your anal- share that every third week of august because it blows up on old people facebook or something like that. That's like the most traffic traveling article on bleeding nation. Ever by the way. I did a lot of that. Probably stemmed from that article it it did. Yeah it was like people sharing. I remember like the at sites like stealing like ripping my image that i made like with a crappy. Ms pay like outright to do the just a highlight where the e is. He's the so obviously like ripped off for me that it was the people could have done it better but yeah so i think that's i guess i don't know where i was going to the point of that But i guess that you'd like the kelly. Green arrow logo bet did the entire eagle. Because that's really are there the eagles. It's an entire eagle. It's not just a burnett other teams have birds like the ravens in the falcons like the whole thing. So let's find or whatever. But i'm looking at the A west of eagles logo history on my phone. Okay so do you like eighty seven ninety five that eagle or like forty eight to sixty eight that eagle I'm talking about this at the standard any kind of kelly-green thing you have basically any all of the green hats. I have have the scene kind of tell you. Green eagle facing left holding a football in. It's one claw. i also actually have here. That has the white eagle on one. But obviously that's not as good until it greenness better. There's the one they were from sixty. Nine hundred. seventy. Two is a little to the hokey militaristic. I would say it conjures up some images of things. That probably shouldn't be controversial. Or oh i do. I typed it up and like the seventh image. That comes up. Is the clearly ms pain thing that you did. If you type in eagles logo i page and it's this one links to bgn not some rip off you for four phillies sports blog. or whatever. del mckissick in the chat here says ten we have an actual green not -til looking color. Yeah i mean that's one of my biggest things with midnight green. It's a neck. You didn't have to color is that that's what happened right. Nike didn't have that color swatch in their repertoire. So that was that doesn't make any sense though. That the uniqueness of it. I think that's why the puma and reebok era. It works a little bit better. I don't know people. Like the unique thing i dunno. It's dislike unique. Doesn't necessarily good. It's not like real. It's a real thing it's not like it's not even like truly green. It is like this. Like teal like aquamarine. Whatever kind of like color depending on the lighting and everything. Yeah that's a big reason. Why at kelly green is so simple because you look at that color like i think maybe thinking about it this way. Take a random group of one hundred people kind of like family feud style and like show him. The eagles jersey in like how many people out of those hundred are definitely in the say like green for that color. I tell you it's not like a hundred hundred whereas we do. That was highly green. Everyone big greek. That simple one time. It mrs obviously more personal touch here. I was sitting on my step as a kid. I was wearing a kelly green jersey. I believe it was wilder montgomery killing time before the eagles started on a sunday or something and someone is walking down the street. I think he was my neighbor. But like not my next door neighbor. You live further down the block. And he's like is that a judge jersey notes as you first of all. Why would you think if the jets jersey when you're in philadelphia but second that speaks to it. The lack of uniqueness and a jersey color that probably is a little bit more prominent and again. That's very specific. one off. Tell what had happened at a young age for me. That kind of thought that. Oh these are the same as the jets. No i mean. That's definitely a fair point. I mean they're they're more similar. Of course like. I do think they are definitely different. I definitely do anything reality. It's more ten to the jets have gone by era to anyway. The mark gastineau era of the edens. Yeah because they have like the jets of the darker green going on. Its own a parallel. What the jets. I guess is more similar. The eagles current green. Than telling i feel like their jerseys like heavy on white too. I just feel like. I associate that with probably green just about shelly. Green not much about like the white accents like it is the jets. How would you split up the jerseys. You asked me if there. They had four jerseys. Yeah had three times to wear alternates. What is your split. So i was trying to think about this. I was like thinking hard about. This is very important hypothetical. I think so. Yeah we're assuming four yes so it's the midnight green Top white top. Blacktop and kelly greentop would just go by topsy. Mix them that's the panthers where applicable Think i was trying to think. I think between like i'm thinking about to like doing two for one and then one for the other. Obviously that's the flip that makes sense. If you're doing math by near.
"eagle" Discussed on They Called This a Movie
"And i'd to choose again because in work i've a bunch of co workers that are in their mid forties any all seem obsessed with this movie even a poster of it in our office so i chose iron eagle from nineteen eighty six fighter pilot movie. I chose this and put this upon you guys. Because i didn't wanna feel left out at work. Essentially what we're doing here know. Besides that i'm always game for any kind of eighty s action movie that seems to be obsessed with the things. The eighties were obsessed with whether it is fighter pilots or does random. I'm trying to think of how to describe. Fear of middle eastern people. they just. It's it's these really dumb movies that were trying to be the propaganda movies of the fifties in terms of the military and forty but had no idea actually how to make it. Look cool you know it was just. I don't have best described. If that's the whole thing. I was thinking was. It's a seems like somebody that was like. Hey i need to make an hour and a half air force recruiting movie. How can how can we do that. I it's a show. How cool it is the be on an air force base. Apparently the worst security on the planet curse in this movie and it also ended up having another thing of eighties movies which is hijinks by teenagers or adolescent set to popular rock songs from the eighties. This one had twisted sister's we're not gonna you're not gonna take it. There's only one twist assistant. I freaked myself out. When i call the twisted sisters wanted to what i wanted to give it possession and not we're is and then i completely lost the entire threat. Marquette isn't it it's gonna come for you now break down the wall. He's been known to do it. Well that'd be lariat. Go out killed. My snyder crushed yeah. We had another dee. Snider attack happens. But i ended up in hell. How'd you get here the snyder well he meet on tuesday. You go down there. I'm surprised i because in my notes i had it like obvious. Topgun rip off when in actuality. This movie came out. I i believe it was shot. I it released january seventeenth of nineteen eighty six so they pushed up in the tribute says that they didn't want to compete with top gun so i thought they had moved it afterwards. I guess they moved it up. Okay so so theoretically topgun. I like they were shot. I and all that or definitely not because the man that does the aerial work in this movie dies while shooting top gun. Oh no yes. Yikes that i i saw it on the trivia. I could pull it up. But dan where are you coming from with. Iron eagle. sure. That's one stunt that tom cruise was like man. I'm glad i didn't do that. One recipe that guy. I'm sorry i have never seen iron eagle. This movie has been on my maybe. I'll do this episode hundreds of times. It's like i'll just be scrolling through. And i'll see it looks like it could be good. I'll look for something else. But now i i've never seen it. I didn't know that it had several sequels but it made. It's made more than its budget back. So i could see why they green lit a sequel and this movie is to me. It may dogfighting boring. I was not happy with this movie..

Okay so without any further ado. Let's talk about eagles k. A big name today a really big name. One of the best selling acts of all time. Not sure what we can say. Eagles that is not already known. But before i give you some information about the band. I want to ask my dear friend alexander's he's quite younger than me and a different generation. I want to ask him what his experience with. Eagles is as you said. I'm quite young. And now i'm going to have a typical millennial moments This is actually the first time that i'm discovering eagles Of course. I'm not really talking about those major hits by the eagles but obviously there of full records so this is something very new to me. beats deduce. Sound like some other bents or maybe it's better to say that some other band's sound like them so Yeah i think you'll be surprised by my impressions so first. Let's do some information some background on this artist. All right. so what's interesting about the eagles. Is that the musicians. That originally founded the band were already very experienced. Session musicians or touring musicians and for example don henley and glenn fry the backbone of the band. They met when they both played for the legendary country. Singer linda ronstadt so this is where the band met soon. Enough they were joined by bernie ladan. Who was actually suggested by. Linda and bernie was previously in one of my favorite bands of all time. The flying burrito brothers led by one. Gram parsons so. That's also another interesting thing and also led and was in dillard and clark with gene clark so as you can tell. These were very experienced musicians. Who already worked with great household names and of course the last the fourth original member was randy meisner. He also got to play. Lindor instance band and the band went from there very soon. They had contract given that they were very well connected. Were in the music industry for example some of the friends. Were jackson browne. Jd south there and so on and it was relatively easy for the musicians of that caliber to get a a contractor with the label at that time. So right from the get go. This was a very promising act and they proved to be one of the most popular act in the seventies for better or worse now. There's a lot of controversy about this. But to remember that, just remember what an eagle does. You know it's flying high. It's kind of regal or you just just look what Eagle does and you'll get what an eagle is. You know you look at a parrot, it's a bird it repeats after you it's kind of play games with you. You know it's I WANNA cracker Kinda you know Quirky and fun and repeats after you and also look what a parent does. "How to walk with God and you will not faint so it was a new way that he was introducing me to and it was not define months afterwards. We're Bill Johnston Randy Clark. The first time I shared publicly this message in a larger setting that I realized the power the power of the new feathers to new visions new talents to new. Everything I mean. Everything for five months had become brand new. I could go to places I had not gone before I was very vulnerable. Very weak very fragile. And at the same tamper. It was almost this wholly new or had taken place that couldn't even recognize the old person for five months been off. Opiates or pain. Medication still had some issues in regard to fiscal condition but not the spiritual condition so sensitive to the Holy Spirit. Soon as the wind just came in just yourself in a moment to just yourself to win one or two first places. After the Minnesota Experience I was in Alaska and I still remember went down the line and just pray for people in power just touched up then just felt the Holy Spirit and it's just a sensitivity when I touch you touch and when I don't touch you stop and had to learn this. And that was his big guy can still see him today because he was a native Indian. I went up in touch. This four hundred and still today can feel some of the pain that I felt. It went through my hand and threw my back and I was like what was that and I could hear. The stillness of the Holy Spirit says life on teaching your new new way of how to do it. When I touch you touch when I stay still you stay still when I speak you speak. Jesus only did what he saw his father do and the only said what his father say and that started a journey of learning and even today I need to go back to those points learning the sensitivity of the Holy Spirit Holy Spirit was super super sensitive for the next five months but it helped me as an Eagle Christian when the wind coming against me for utilizing out win to take me higher and higher above my storm clouds into this realm with her is totally Shalom but it's totally peace and as an eagle compete in presence on the high with the most high together with him and then from that place learning how to operate. I'm saying all of this to say that I do believe that. The Eagle Soaring Eagle to calling that we have as believers as many of us are going to go through a renewal and does matter where we're at in life that some of the calling that God house for us in the future. He's not going to let us go with yesterday's and nineteen. He's not going to go even with a yesterday's ward prophecy but he is doing something brand new. And when you do something brand new let me encourage you. It's never been done before a- and some other things that I'm going to do even next week. I'm going to step into something. I've never done it before. Can't be done. It's impossible and that's when we learned sensitivity of the Holy Spirit and I just want to encourage reading this season leaving us. You're starting to look around you. Perhaps you will see eagles in actual. That's what God if started to send me back again and it's part of the reason. I am broadcasting again and talking about the lifestyle of Eagle learning how to be swift like an ego learning actually the develop. Strengthen Eagles wink both in regard to power? Both in regard to wisdom glory can be released. That's one of the reason I'm in. This seasoning twenty twenty is about focus for me and it is a remove away everything in the land so that the Eagle I can see so you can see the invisible and ought to do the impossible so we are focusing and actually beautiful eagle. I can see small details before they happen. Not ANY LONGER. Be Proactive or actually reactive. But we can eventually see what Heaven Cease and say what Heavens says and then we can cease what Heaven Cease Receiving What Heaven has frost and sees so new way of living and loving. And I believe it is an invitation for all of us in this season and this is not an ordinary podcast was more sharing. Mahar would than as I'm going through a fresh renewal in this season and I seen. There's an invitation where the father says. Hey sons and daughters I wanted to come. Higher and higher and Higher. There is a place that is above this zone where neither serpents nor Scorpions nor mosquitoes. No irritation can live and that is an place neglect around in my presence for you to learning how to coming up there in the middle of your daily life. In a moment you're going to be able to be transformed from. Glory to glory. And if we're going to go from glory to glory we need to find a place in glory. And that's when the fullness comes into existence when you are in that realm of the glory it's like a fish in water is like an eagle sky. It is what you were born to do..

"They're soaring. Imagine the whole body of that Eagle so many times. Sabine just sitting in a small little boat in Canada looking right up and I'm looking at Eagle above me. You see these majestic win. And you see this incredible body. Just the fullness of that picture it's so majestic it is so beautiful from me tells me about freedom and tells me by soaring and talks about royalty there so many different things that are one picture gives me but then on the other side when I realized in scripture that God is using Eagle twice to describe himself and about thirty times in scripture he also uses the Eagle as an analogy for us to be able to look but look at Eagle and to look in the mirror and to ask the question. Am I an Eagle Christian? Am I born to soar? Am I created Fodor heavenly and my seated with Christ heavenly to see the invisible and on my able to do the impossible? There's so many of those questions that I've had over the years as I started my journey of Studying Eagle and part of the reason I'm bringing this up. Even this season is because I do believe that maybe this is more than a podcast has more me just as a papa. Something stirring in me. What would it look like for God to raise some some some doors that are full of love? The whole in parliament is love and the wings is full of power and wisdom and glory would be released. What would it look like if Eagle Christians including today? I listened to the whole thing that's going on with a NATO summit that is going on and hold the Bates and attention would a different governments and then I was thinking where are the eagles and I remember Winston Churchill when he said he said when the Eagles are quiet. The parrots are talking. And it's not difficult for us to turn on. Cnn or Fox so it does matter which NBC and then to eventually listen to the voices of a lot of other birds. But I think that all of us are looking and longing for hearing the sound of what is an eagle sound like because when we look at the equal and we know that the pitch of beautiful nation that I've had opportunity to join and to be part of America this country that I've now for the first time in my life spent twenty seven years in America while I spent twenty six years in Norway so being longer in this country but when I see the American Bald Eagle or when I see Golden Eagle or Imperial Eagles that you can see in the Middle East or any other eagles. There's something in that becomes a life to something in me where I knew I was born to saw the something in me that I was made for something heavenly peace and I knew that I was called to reign in life. Romans five seventeen so using that as a framework using that as a pitcher part of what we do with spending a few podcasts. And has maybe some of you knew first book? I ever wrote was on the Eagle to some degree during the biggest crisis moment in my life I dumped into the Eagle or to say another way. God Send Me. Eagles would a very clear purpose for me to be able to capture. Who God was and who I was and it helped me in the middle of my winter season in life or dark night of the soul or what I like in the Eagle language to use an Edison Morton Eagle. I didn't realize I was going to a season. And that's what we're going to talk a little bit about the renewal of the Eagle. But how I was going to reprocess where some of the things that God has called me to do. I couldn't go with yesterday's ninety I couldn't go with the feathers had in the past. I couldn't go with yesterday's vision. It was actually what God had to do was to rewire me or in. Another way to say is to renew me. Refresh me to revive me and then eventually take me through a process that brought me on the other side because I couldn't sore P- on the level that he called me to saw and to see what he wanted to see in the way that I was wired from the past many of us going through this season I was just asking somebody in the conference as at home many of you transition and hundred percent other people I so how many of you. You're no longer what you used to be and you're no longer what you have become people waving to have and then. I asked the question. How many of you know exactly how to get there. And it was only maybe ten percent that thought. Maybe they knew how to get there. And that's have realized it's worthwhile for us to have this conversation because that's exactly but some of the process that I have been and I feel I'm going to a similar type of process again. It's it's not like a once in a lifetime and that's one of the reasons I want to talk a little bit about the Molting Eagle that renewal of the Eagle do God in this season to raise up Eagle Christians Apostolic Prophetic Pastore at that. They were evangelistic even at Teaching Eagles that could give us the plug. We do need eagles in government eagles in the marketplace. Ceo Eagle Eagles in every sphere of influence eagles. In Hollywood we need eagles in every area of life because there are so many other birds out there and some parents that mimic some vultures that continue to be critical and eat dead things and we do need to discern the difference and we do need to a rice and shine because our like has come so welcome to the school of the Eagles. And you're already recruited because you're listening and you'RE GONNA learn a little bit more about perhaps if you are in the middle of this Moore thing season my goal would be to give you some fresh neat so that you will not give up some of your in-depth first part of that molting and what I mean what multi. You're in the middle of this renewal season in your life. Like Isaiah. Forty thirty one says those that wait upon the Lord. They shall renew their strength. You shall mount over wings as eagles. You shall run knocker wary and you showed walk and not faint blessed my soul and all that is within me bless. His holy name who forget all of his benefits who forgive you of all your iniquities? He heals your all your diseases. He crowns you would love and kindness. These five supernatural benefits as mentioned there in Psalm. One Zero Three as youth is being renewed as eagles so just using framework in Zia Forty. Thirty one song one. Oh three the first five to six versus and then we're setting up this beautiful plum blindness framework that what God is doing a deceased. There's shaking that's going on and anything they can be shook is being shaken so the things that has unshakable is going to stand and believe that. The Eagles going to re-present the type of believers. It's going to be a typology is going to be a picture is going to be something visual for each one of us when we're looking and saying that's an eagle Christian and we will connect with Auto Eagle Christians knowing our identity building life up on a foundation creating this incredible eagle's nest called family then the culture and family that we change culture and I'm very place learning to supernatural lifestyle of eagles to learning that the normal Christian life is that the supernatural is. Actually what's natural as learn how to soar on Eagles? Winning and to win is working and we are resting as we're starting to move in and making a difference bringing heaven tour bringing transformation bringing revival fire and at the same time dealer would some of the serpents because the enemy is like a serpent who comes to kill steal and destroy but Eagle Christians. There are different they are like Jesus the Master Eagle. We came to give life and life more abundantly so back track for a few moments. Let's slow down the pace and let's look at my life in the end of two thousand and five. We lived in Florence Alabama and I've been process on a journey. The last two years had been pretty tough in many ways to make that story short. We were in Tom. Sunny up one of the country that have invested in quite a bit. I actually saw the African Fish Eagle up. The month of Kilimanjaro. The biggest mountain of Africa and right down from the city of Moshi and the capital city of Tanzania is Dr is along a small group of us we were together in November of two thousand five indoors along some remember was Muslim crippled man behind me. I didn't even pray from him. He came up and sat behind me. While I was preaching in a small church and president were so thick that the people could see his limbs. I saw it afterwards but as as limbs were straighten out as this Kripa was just being healed by being in the presence where people didn't know what the airport and ours alone and the presence of God just came in and people are actually falling over our afraid. I was going to get arrested but in the middle of all of our people on the inside. I was very dysfunctional on the inside. I heard a lot of things going on to after a broken neck broken back I had spend I nine years using. Opiates after all to surgery. The last two years I had been abusing it just to be able to make another trip just to be able to make another assignment just to be able to go to another nation to solve another problem to face the giants to soar a little bit higher than what. I didn't realize that some feathers and an eagle can have up to seven thousand seven hundred feathers. Those feathers needs to be in alignment there needs to be preened meaning. They need to be clean and clear. And if not what is happening? The Eagles was sauce to work harder and starts to flat swing but the problem is for me. I'm medicated myself. So I didn't know I was flapping because you do not know the difference and many maybe people are out that you can medicate yourself in different ways for me. It was used to medication sudden. Feel the pain and so I was able to continue to go on but deception is very deceiving. One problem was the nineteen. What's there to glory? Was there the president? Was there people being killed people being saved so when people confront them even with some of my issue I would say hey your problem. Can't you see what's going on not realizing until the day when I came home December second two thousand five at crash-landed and I didn't realize at a time vision was gone by feathers if you had looked in the mirror they didn't look like it does when you see beautiful in the? Eagle they were bended twisted dirty..

Thank you for inviting me and thank you for having a conversation about core values and what they can mean absolutely so. I love to just kick things off with a reflection on some of our values and maybe weekends use that as a way to explore a little bit about your ranch and learn a little bit more about what drives your decisions there But you know even before we do that. Just tell us a little bit about the ranch. How did he get started? Oh Gosh So Eagle Ranch. Next year is going to be our thirty fifth. Year arrived yet of serving boys and girls and crisis Were located just down the road right by shadowy lawn. You where that is and we are boys and girls throughout Metro Atlanta In north Georgia's that's kind of our our local market area. So yeah so. The ranch was founded just our our founder who is still very active in the ranch today. Just really had a burden for hurting children. He grew up in a very idealistic Middle Class Family. And he just thought everyone grew up that way and when he came to learn that that was not the case and really he was probably more the exception. Not the norm. It's just Kinda like God planted something really deep in him to want to help others to. That's kind of how we got started. Goodness so I've been to Eagle ranch a number of times and it's a beautiful campus. Pretty big In the sort of setup like a neighborhood can you tell us about How it's designed on. What the the idea is there? Yeah so we have ten homes We have six boys homes for Girls Homes. And that's exactly right. It's supposed to feel like a neighborhood and children come to the ranch. We really try to position it as your second home. So you're not being penalized. You're not being sent to an institution you know. This is your second home so it definitely has a home type vibe and actually as we talk about core values one of our core values is that we create a peaceful stable environment for the kids that live with us for because a lot of them are coming from chaotic situations so that peaceful environment. That beauty It really is a part of that healing process. So can you tell us a little bit about the situations that cause folks to connect with Eagle ranch and how your mission plays off young. Yeah I I'd like to tell people when they say what kind of child comes to Eagle ranch. It's a child that you know you know it really think we all can think of families that have struggled or maybe we struggled. Think we all struggle time but Yes that we help. Boys and girls were kind of living at home isn't an option anymore so usually ego ranches a couple rungs down the down the ladder in terms of in A. Maybe you've tried counselling with your child or You've tried some different things and it's just not getting you the traction that you need so maybe the CIA defiant. Maybe they're depressed. Maybe they have anxiety. Maybe they're angry. Malabar kids come from you may be apparent has died or their parents have been divorced for apparent is addicted and maybe they're being raised by grandma so You know our job is to partner with whoever's in that parental role and come alongside them and just help them work through you know whatever challenges are usually you know what we what we all know is. It's usually not just the child at usually. There's something going on with the whole family dynamic. Sure that we want to not only try to help the child. But we really WANNA try out the whole family get healthier sal so this results in the Child Ashley. Moving to the rash rash Koran how onto this average length of stay for a child at Eagle ranches about two years? Yeah so it's and when they come in. I mean it's all based on goals so were setting goals with that child and that child's family from day one our goal is you know we're going to do the hard work so you can go home for his is the idea. But it saw out to your program The kids do go home every other weekend and they go home on holidays and the reason we do that is they are learning new ways to communicate the ways to help their families are learning new ways to communicate new ways to hope so we do want them going home from time to time of practice in what they're learning and then coming back and talking about what went well and what didn't it's kind of a really unique model and other age range of the kids that come to the ranch. Yeah so right now. I think we just brought in a little girl last week. Who's eight now? Eight and then up to about seventeen over average of a child at Eagle ranch is about twelve and a half and we do have on the The intake process Coming into the program. The Chop can't be older than ninth grade. So that's kind of our head off. They may live there beyond ninth grade terms of coming in. We just found that we have more success if we can catch that child. So that's about fifteen is sort of the cutoff for coming in so they come to the ranch on this day there for a period of time sometimes up to two years or so and then they go back home while fast. That's the goal the goal. And that's the thing with with children's programs and the reason we feel so strongly about engaging the families and really being about family restoration is with Children's homes in ninety percent of those kids when they lead they gotta go somewhere and ninety percent of them go home. Whatever home. Is GRANDMA AUNT UNCLE INTACT? Family? So having the families involved throughout the entire process they actually come to the ranch twice a month. Get counseling as well. The family so we're really working on the whole equation. And so you mention boys homes men girls homes. Surely there other people there with them yes sounds like more. Chaos and really does is not one of our core values. So how does that work? Yeah so we have. Every home has a house parent. Couple that fulltime job so they live in the home their modeling a healthy family life A lot of our house parents actually have kids of their own so they're actually doing life as a family. They just happened to happiness. Seven teenage boys living. Oh my goodness anyways So we have a house parent couple. Also every home has What is called a program assistant and these are young men and women who have just graduated from college kind of act like the big brother big sister on the house. Is that make sense? You're low more peer to peer. And it's that's a residency program where they actually live on campus for two years in. It's a great way for these young men and women to figure out. Is this field. I really WANNA be in. So usually most of them have their degree in either. You know counseling or social work or ministry and they're really getting a hands on opportunity to see this what I WANNA do. Yeah it's really a neat model and then we have five master level. Licensed counselors which oversee the homes. One counselor for every two homes and they're responsible for the care of the children in those two homes.
