IRS Says Its Own Error Sent $1,200 Stimulus Checks To Non-Americans Overseas

"Now. Earlier this year, our team of reporters discovered that stimulus money from the first coronavirus relief package had been mistakenly sent to citizens off other countries. U. S government previously blamed the recipients for that error. But as Sasha Pfeiffer from our NPR investigations, team reports, the Iris now says those non Americans were not always at fault and the mistake Is likely to happen again, if more stimulus checks go out. Suzanne Wig force is a 78 year old citizen of Sweden, who lives in the country's capital, Stockholm, and over the summer, she was surprised to get a check in the mail from the United States Treasury, followed by a letter signed by President Donald J. Trump. And he says the White House Washington You lied. 31st. Your economic impact payment has arrived. My fellow American. It was a stimulus check for $1200. And I thought I can't believe it. They're sending it to me. Why? I mean, it's crazy, isn't it? It's crazy, she says, because she is not entitled to that money. The only people eligible for stimulus checks are U. S citizens and individuals that for tax purposes, the iris calls resident aliens. Suzanne. Weak force is neither of those now. Previously, the U. S government said the reason many non citizens mistakenly received checks is they filed incorrect tax returns that made them appear to be American. But weak force does not file a U. S tax return. Asked about this by NPR, The Iris now acknowledges that some non Americans erroneously receive stimulus money through no fault of their own. I'm just upset. I love American. This is so wrong because I saw that number of people were being evicted every month in Chicago, for instance, and I thought One of those families would have needed this stimulus check. Why should a Swedish citizen living abroad received $1200? The iris now says it mistakenly sent checks to some non citizens who receive Social Security and other federal benefits. People like WIG force. She receives a small social security payment from having worked in California for several years. And she believes that's why the iris erroneously sent her a stimulus check. I'm not gonna cash it. I'm just going to leave it here. There's no way I'm going to catch this money. It doesn't belong to me. Since Congress passed its coronavirus relief package in March, the U. S government has put no mechanisms in place to prevent these mistakes from happening again. That means if a new relief plan passes in the final weeks of the Trump administration or during the Biden administration, and if it includes more stimulus payments, some of that money is again likely to mistakenly end up in mailboxes overseas. Weak force is even likely to get another check how much money is leading out from the Treasury Department? Because of these similares checks. I wonder, the U. S. Government cannot answer that question. The Treasury did find that as of late May, $34 million in stimulus had gone to people who filed a tax return with a foreign address. But that includes eligible people like US citizens living abroad, and it does not include citizens of other countries who received a check at a U. S address. For example, NPR interview to citizen of the Dominican Republic who was not eligible, he had got a check at his former address in Massachusetts. At $34 Million also does not include people like WIG Force who got a check but don't file a U. S tax return at all. I think the poor folks in the iris don't have the bandwidth to go chasing this end. A. Kelleher is a vice president at Sprint tax, which does us tax preparation for nonresidents. It'd be great if they did, because I believe that there's millions of dollars that has gone to people that went entitled to it. Certainly not the intended recipients. Spring tax has clients from about 150 countries who mistakenly received stimulus check. Ex. Kelleher said the most common were India, China, South Korea, Vietnam and the United Kingdom, as well as numerous nations in Latin America. It's awful when we hear of millions of dollars going into the wrong hands, but was probably within a somewhat acceptable threshold of error or margin of error acceptable, he said, because Congress opted for speed over accuracy when it flooded the U. S economy with money last spring. Many non Americans who received a check and error are now trying to return it because they worry it will jeopardize their visa or immigration status. Course. There's equally thousands there is saying, Well, if they were silly enough to make this mistake, it's their mistake, and I'm not gonna give it back until they ask for it. Van Shockley falls in that category. He's 74 years old and was born in Pennsylvania. But he moved to Australia after becoming disillusioned with US politics in the 19 sixties. I had always been depressed when JFK was killed. I just couldn't get over that. So I started looking for someplace else start all over. So he gave up his U. S citizenship and has now been an Australian citizen for about a half century. His last trip to the U. S. Was 40 years ago. But he to receive stimulus money even though he's not eligible for it and does not file a U. S tax return. That was a waste together. My check the mail. Love pulled out a check. Federal Reserve Treasury thingamajig along with the eagle on that it's made out to me. What's the sum of America? What the hell's going on here? Why am I getting a check from the government? Just like Suzanne Wig Force in Sweden? Van Shockley in Australia suspects he mistakenly got a check because he receives Social Security from having worked in the U. S before moving overseas. First I thought it was a joke. And then I went down to the bank says Can you do some way of verifying that this is legal and the girl come back after five minutes. This is it's legal. You got the milling. Thank you, ma'am. I didn't ask for the money. I didn't expect any money. But as soon as I got us stuck into the bank, he ain't getting it back. Shockley attributes the mist ake two U. S. Government incompetence, complete stupidity. Just not doing their job properly. U S. Treasury officials said they are quote continuing to assess the accuracy of the stimulus program and the recovery efforts for any erroneous payments. In the meantime, they told NPR the Iris is relying on individuals to voluntarily return these payments. Sasha five for NPR News.

Philadelphia Eagles Injury Report: Right Tackle Lane Johnson To Undergo Ankle Surgery, Miss Rest Of Season

"The bad news. The latest bad news in a year of bad news is that Lane Johnson announced in a zoom with reporters yesterday that his season is over His left ankle requires a second surgery. Ray. He has dealt with this nagging injury since the beginning of training camp had surgery in August, but complications since then. Continued to play tried on said yesterday that if he kept on playing, he would risk damaging the cartilage, which would lead to arthritis in the joint. On guy just reuse post and then get your reaction. This is what Lane Johnson put on Social media yesterday. 2020 has been an extremely difficult and challenging year. I tried to battle through different injuries and give it my all for my teammates and coaches. I will be back and ready to get after it next year for the best fans in organization, the business So, Ray, I guess my question is, how was he able to stick it out this long? Good question. Um, it was obvious that it was a struggle for him. Right from the right from the start. Um, he was playing through this really from week one. It never felt right. He never looked right. But I will tell you this. He played amazingly well. I mean, if you saw if understanding how much he was struggling from week to week and game to game Um, you would. You really would not have known it from his performance. He was. I mean, Was he the same lane Johnson? He was in 2017? No, I mean that that point and even just as recently as a year ago He was best right tackle in football and Justin Elite player. He wasn't quite that this year, but he was still Good on, but I saw last week in the Cleveland game. Um, all the attention kind of went to Jason Peters because he was just so awful at left tackle. But when you watch the tape, you saw it. The other side that lane Johnson was really struggling. I mean, he was really, really struggling at right tackle. That was That was the first time that it looked to me like Hey, just couldn't go anymore on so this didn't come as a huge surprise to May. I just give him credit for gutting it out and playing as well as he played this

"If you were the general manager of this team. What would you do? And it's hard to do anything now, but I'm sure people would have things to say now. What would you do? I mean, give me a break, like, give me a break. Eyes, So they're just love athletes. Athletes can't keep themselves off Twitter. To say stupid, ridiculous things. So, uh, so we'll talk about the Eagles this morning. Obviously. Azaz. The Pittsburgh Steelers in Baltimore game has been moved now once On twice. It's moved to second time till next Tuesday from Thursday to Sunday to Tuesday. Mm. The the coverage situation in sports is really serious right now. And I still think there's people out there that don't really think. It's As serious as it really is. There's a positive test all the time. All the time Every day. It seems like there's a new positive test in the NFL. In colleges. I think there's like 18 games that are either cancel or postpone this weekend. Ohio State last night was not only did the head coach Test positive, But there were a few of the players. It tested positive, so they just Canceled their gate cancer. Yeah, that game I think is just canceled. I don't think they can reschedule it that there's no time canceled on. They were gonna win the game. But they want the game for their winds just like Cincinnati, one of their game against temple because they would have crushed them today. But it's a serious situation. All right. "The national native news. I'm antonio gonzales. During the pandemic more and more doctors visits are going virtual and some people are avoiding clinics emma gibson reports that within the navajo nation. Women's healthcare is adapting as much as possible with infrastructure and as nature will allow when the pandemic i took hold in the navajo nation. People avoided the doctor because they were afraid of being exposed to the disease. Now after a short respite case numbers are surging again. Philadelphia Eagle's Doug Pederson: Benching Carson Wentz would send 'wrong message'

"Well, even though quarterback Carson Wentz continues struggling for the Eagles, K Y W Dave you ram tells us doesn't sound like Doug Peterson is ready to bench him for Jalen hurts After losing 20 to 17 to the Browns, Doug Peterson said. If he removes Carson wins, I think you're you're sending the wrong message to your football team that the season's over and That's a bad message. What is that comment, say about his confidence and backups. Jalen hurts, and Nate Sub felled this morning on Wi P. Peterson clarified that he didn't mean hurts isn't ready. Taylan is preparing himself each week to play and and that's what a backup quarterback should do. My perspective is that we have to get it fixed with Carson Lance, So that's where my trust in my faith lies. And then we can get it done. When said the media can ask about a potential benching, replaying it is good. We can his team know of my plans. My best football, No. But as far as aggressiveness and being confident all those things that that's not gonna change, And despite the fact, Peterson is sticking with winds, if he did decide to play hurts at least a little bit. I have the final say, because I'm the I'm the head coach, and and and I get to make those decisions. Save your rant. W News

"Stock of a play. We did not know he was this kind of fast. No. not this kind of fast pull away from secondary fast pull away from your own. Mess just panic and terror and no one was near him. A man number thirty one had quit on the play. That's the only thing to talk about from last night now that the eagles now are on top of that division with a tie against Cincinnati. I'm glad you said that because that is exclusively what I WANNA talk about Daniel Jones who like you said we didn't know was that fast which is just another way of saying the thing we always say which is that he's sneaky fast. He reached twenty one point, two, three miles per hour on that run. Now, that may sound slow because that's like school zone. Speed limit your in a car. This person we didn't know he would have been ticketed Daniel Jones long been. Driving. here's here's what I think. We need to consider that people are just overlooking, which is weird because we've all seen sports movies. I think that Daniel Jones has inherited some sort of spell. He's either been cursed or blessed with like he can go forty miles per hour because what we saw there was a man who's like just trying it out for the first time but his feet can't keep up with how fast he can go which is why he felt so sure we could laugh at him because it was a ridiculous thing that should have ended in a touchdown instead ended in laughter but. I think the important thing is this man not has superpowers and we're just seeing a glimpse of it. Now I, love Pablo just the roaring giants on both sidelines just snorting up laughter into the cold air laughing at him even the guys on his team I mean, this is what we're going to remember from last night. It is a first ballot hall, of Meam, induction when you go to. The box score of this game just throw this video up there because other things that are interesting happened right the giants did lose blow giant Comeback Carson Wentz look fine Daniel dimes himself lost the game at the very end because he got strip sacked thought was the most embarrassing compound verb. Until we saw whatever you'd call this eighty yard face plant and for the record are also overlooking something else. I think there should be a job and the job should be fake injury advisor to every NFL team. Soon as this happened as soon as you face..

"This is the worst losses see the one or two yes I wonder if Doug Peterson be willing to guarantee that cowboys thirty seven and Eagles ten this was a full-frontal throttling Israel was this the cowboys writing ship or the eagles ship be sinking it's a little more toward the eagles ship be thinking now I understand if you look at the injury report the cowboys seemed to get pretty healthy going into this week and the eagles were not we're still missing plenty of players but if you look at what the cowboys did they do what they're supposed to do you had Dak Prescott playing good not greatest QB are was in the sixties you had Kuper getting one hundred yards and you had Zeki getting one hundred plus yard that's pretty much the Dallas cowboys therefore you what you wanted to see from the eagles a team whose coach guaranteed a victory whether or not he said the word was anything any sort of fight and really it comes from Carson Wentz when you are injured and you look to one person it's almost always your quarterback and in this case the quarterback who almost won MVP a couple of seasons ago before he got hurt three turnovers that's the type of thing you can't do in the rank is Sola more about the cowboys are eagles missile Jerry Seinfeld but what's the deal with the eagles back to back losses by combined forty five point Doug Peterson guaranteeing a win. Let's remember though the coach that's been on fire is Jason Garrett whenever they lose you former players saying that he should be fired so I look at with the cowboys did offensively four hundred five yards this was a game that they had had to have an a very in a very poor division right now they look like the class of the division I'm not so sure you get a medal for that but you certainly get people as Peterson iffy guaranteed anything he said thank you what's wrong with this team is simply the wide receiver production has been next to nil they can't seem to complete passes to anyone in the way that team is look I've said this ever since frank wake into Philip left the offense has not been as dynamics you can talk about Super Bowl hangovers you're putting that on coaching you're putting it on you know what I'm saying is that Wenski can't find this way in the offense as he did when he had a different offense coordinator you've seen well that is gone in Indianapolis I just don't think this team has the brain trust to deliver on what they have on the roster as far as they go woody page for my brain trust how would you cowboys are eagles while the cowboys have still not been too good team if you think about this year that would go with is I have to go with the other guys in regard to the eagles I mean near on the principles and they play the buffalo bills on the road for the next game they've lost as was pointed out by more than forty points in their last two games they have injury problems they have a quarterback problem Winston looked like he did when he was a star in this league the receivers they got to come get manual sanders from the Broncos so they can have a second wide receiver their their defense has so many problems I mean they're missing sproles I know he's all but he's been a guy that's always been a utility knife for them and he's not around I think that what they've got there is a team that coach shouldn't be predicting victory reeser guaranteeing them they've got a total mess there is like a wagon wheel accident yes of course you know you said they're on the precipice you kind of let us hanging there on the precipice of what we're on the cliff fear of falling apart losing the season right does anybody convince wasn't anything more than two mediocre teams last night I mean I've is that what we were looking at Israel you you're holding your breath it was one it was one mediocre team in Dallas and one pretty bad team in Philadelphia and they've given up six twenty points in the first half of six games at putting everybody in battling yeah week six you get dumped shocked by a team in your division you're not just a team that hasn't figuring out your battles we move onto what looks like a good football team the Baltimore Ravens what they did to the seahawks me in Seattle yesterday they scored two defensive touchdowns and Lamar Jackson honey by air Hyundai by ground now honey by area but by ground how about that and this was the key for down with his coach undecideds you see this Oh yeah we wanna go for Clinton and on the Baltimore we way on my takeaway on the Mark Jackson is that this is exactly what you drafted this player for people wanted to talk about how they're all position concern about what he should play the aired out against the dolphins and everybody was impressed but the bottom line is that the guy stills got quicks like no other quarterback in the League and so you want to be able to use that when he's not as available or as effective by air there's no problem with this at all the guy did everything you know he can do and you won the game there's nothing to complain about Israel you're nodding along that you're about to lose the hair part and your hair you're nodding so much please yeah I don't know what's going on but look I think Lamar Jackson all of a sudden as an MVP candidate here look disgusting well he has to run all this time no he can do that and he can do that in Seattle against another MVP candidate in Russell Wilson and he did that despite his receivers. I'm looking at you andrus dropping some Ashley a significant passes there and he's still carry the load here look if you can run for thirteen hundred yards which he is on pace to do then you do it right as a quarterback you absolutely might lake shorten his career by a year or two but the right but that's his career not your career Israel you're fine with that way so mvp Israel's rose out there what do you pay that's that let's slow down a little bit Israel I mean the guy's got a complete more than fifty percents passes yes he's a good running quarterback you think he's better I heard somebody say last night he's the best quarterback in the conference can we talk about Tom Brady still being around and billion to show the one said yeah I mean really the point is yes. He is an excellent running quarterback in that made a difference in the game last night but he's still got a developing is is passing techniques you gotTa have a better understanding of of defenses and what's going on down the field and he played we speaking a mediocre teams guess what Seattle is is lately become nothing more than a record wiser certainly not I I wanna get into the schematics of Hawaii you don't think you can go down field I saw a few drops for Mark Andrews yesterday that Downfield Frank Is Sola first few though you know it's Funny Clinton mentioned the Miami game to remember after the Game Lamar Jackson talked about how well he did passing say not bad for running back well guess what he still has a terrific running quarterback and there's nothing wrong with that but over time he's going to have to develop to stand more in the pocket because he's GonNa get hurt running keeps running but if you look at their to super bowl winning teams Trent dilfer and then Joe Flacco they won because their defense and good quarterback he's better than both those guys it's still about the defense with the Ravens and need I remind you listen against the playoffs against San Diego he did not have a Greek Gates Beck in just over so caught up in the nomenclature of running in quarterback he can pass very well he can run very well I don't just look at him as running quarterback he's Lamar Jackson that might be more Israel uh even if he is just a running quarterback so far what we've seen is he's the best at that that we've ever see better than Michael Vick so you ski with him you win with him I mean Christian McCaffrey at the moment is third in the League in rushing and he's an MVP candidate well the Mark Jackson sixth in the League in Russia you want blink quarterback Israel's onto something we move on let's Talk Baseball now Jose altuve welcome to the Pantheon the else CBS walk-off Apex Predator stuff from the Houston Astros how the Yankees should feel about going out like that Chapman's action was diagnosed by some as laughter he said he was in shock Aaron judge called the season a failure frank I go to you for New York failure well number one you know good luck to the Washington nationals trying to get out Alex Bregman Jose L. to it five six packs a wallop and that swing a his but for the Yankees now that's twice in the last three years that they lost to Houston it's about time they address pitching the Yankees keep trying to beat everybody with their lineup and it's not working you need a better staff remember if it had gone seven last night you would've seen Garrett Cole Against Severino Adage Houston they need to address pitch it's if it had gone seven it didn't go seven because the team that matters here the Houston astros knocked him are we spending so much about the New York Yankees but they're lineup has been up and down all season because of injuries didn't even barely played this season I'm not concerned about what Buni did with a team that was barely constructed of the the Astros or the story they made the move at the trade deadline to get cranking which was incredible and then they walk off of a guy with those one hundred on them sorry I'm beyond impressed with how Houston banged out if you're a nets fan you're more worried about them now from not momentum momentum here we go yeah by the way and that was a slider I told you said that that that shabby through there so the Honda wasn't even on that pitch would he paid what did it how the Yankee season the Astros actually in the world series has been a world series champion he's been a world's most valuable champion he is the best Deport Most Valuable I understand what you're saying woody page this is a pantheon level moment for Jose altuve seeing the astros gets World Series against second time in three years how dangerous this team when you have those three pitchers I think you'd go with them I I think what stunned me more than anything we're in the six game and we're pitching relief pitchers all over everywhere rather than having someone who's actually professional starter out there but what what we get into.

"Are there but i to relationship with them years ago and boy it was really it was heartwarming this year is the first time i was out on the beach and walked far enough south to get close to that cliff the the eagle mom or dad who was on on the tree at the moment started calling me before i even got there that was really really special and my cousins came down and spent a couple of days at the coast with their dog at the same time and so they were with me so they were they were pretty surprised is eagle was talking to me and and i got to for the first time i got to see the changing of the guard because at least with eagles up in our area here right now is nesting season you know they have ness and they have eggs if not babies by now you the the baby should be hatched by now and they're they're raising their offspring well when we went down the beach the eagle call to me and and i talked to the eagle and then then we went on down you know several miles down down the beach and then when we came back it was just in time for whoever it was mom or dad eagle to say hi and then an and i and i've seen before i didn't see it this time but there watching stuff obviously there's a reason why they stay at the top of those trees and watch out but i was very blessed one one experience to actually see that all of a sudden the eagle take off and then like a bullet go out over the water and dive in pick something you know and and and they must have incredible eyesight you know to be able to see out there but anyway on this one particular day one when we got back below the cliffs the eagle took off and did a a circle above us and then went back over.

"You didn't discovered that cut it out that's not real and it wasn't until eighteen seventy six that that plant was quote unquote rediscovered in the everglades as being a real thing so again he's he's getting criticised in he doesn't backed out because he saw and this is another example of oh will look you were actually right floods i mean there there were found in the bones bird they have not found any bones that we can attribute specifically to the washington eagle that we now us that we know enough um yeah and in the thing is is people have said well maybe they they mixed in with the with the bald eagle population maybe they had said they were able to crossbreed one of the things though that i find that makes at probably not pause a ball is one other physical description of the washing eagle which is i believe you pronounces the saer or the seer much her which but if you look at birds they have that kind of fleshy bit suburbs have that fleshy bit at toddler their beat kelly the cubicle and your hand in hand or on your fingernails will the the washing eagles were described it doesn't it the saer the seer whichever it is doesn't match up to what is seen on bald eagles in any stage of their development so again that's one more thing that is like well if he's done all these other things and had been found out to be real.

"Half or less of their body way i'm thinking like rabbits and stuff like dear will but what i but i'm getting as it i don't know that they would necessarily whether it was in a tree or on a cliff it would matter because they would fly in and bring it to the nest meaning bald eagle does a drag on a rabbit corpse of tree that's true no i know i'm just thinking more like for the feel like i don't know you can't necessarily fit a rabbit carcass in a nest have you ever see of your own i've been playing like i don't know what their nests looked fighter julian it no bald eagle yes i'm just saying i don't know what the washington eagle's nest look like they're trying to help whatever orchid eagle it would have been something equivalent to the size of a bald eagle mess which is a really big nest maybe yes broker so let's go in here so it was a beverage talked about all those critics that that audubon had this is this is something to substantiate that he was telling the truth there was for many many years he had not only in the the burr's at he drew or painted but he also paint the the flora and fauna that was around them that easy in the region or the area or one of the things that he had in one of his drawings was the yellow water lily which everybody said that plant dozen exist man you need to take that out.

"It's going to it's real obviously the cesme meant that audubon made that the washington eagle was a distinct species if according to this is real and the reason is that the reason that we don't see it anymore we just talked about which is that it were never types out they went extinct because everybody said you very rarely saw you you couldn't ever you know once integrate while you came across them any just got lucky to have a specimen to include in the birds of america possibly night and as a matter of fact there are a half dozen birds in the birds of america that are now extinct so he was the one who recorded some birds that are no longer in existence one of which is a really great example of how europeans coming to this continent may were responsible for nuts the passenger pitch if if anybody doesn't know the story the passenger pigeon it's really interesting and i want to get our share real fast 'cause i it's very applicable it in so the passenger pigeon was it was prolific all over the north american continent from the rocky earn it's not that yes the rockies east pretty much they lived in the eastern half of this this continent and the he were they were amazingly prolific their described his flyover as they to be in big fox added darkened the sky in the sky for an entire day in only leave behind their droppings like the birds would never stop but the block out the sky because the flock was so she you should be in the middle row go poop storm leagues when they were hunting and they said you could you could kill more than six with one blast from a shock on a hot shooting they were so so thick and they were great food source me people loved them predators loved him because they came to town and was free meat and you could just go crazy just kill in these things and they that was fine to in terms of from the biological sir the survival standpoint of the passenger pigeon.

"Because that's what radiation does eagle man who out some call by sean yvonne let them pretty good here name because he because he had the ruffled front of his shirt and instead of feathers yet notices not happening so basically so we're talking about the fact that this burden could have been an outlier and they say that maybe it wasn't it wasn't an outlier actually what they say is that he did bad measurements and that he padded things show that it looked more impressive win it was in his book while which plenty of people have done that i mean we've there are so many examples of people make and stuff up and riding in a book and then being called out later on and people finding out old that didn't happen this isn't actually the memoir of soandso you all that stuff up see oprah not oprah but the person that was on oprah i wanted them yes i say let's go back to the bald eagle and specifically i want to talk about the juvenile bald eagle because that's what his critics are all saying israel israel obviously was a juvenile bald eagle is or jb jv so if you don't know let me describe the juvenile versus the adult bald eagle not in size but in appearance show the adults have a white the white plumage on their head and they have a yellow beak and they have yellow feet the juveniles are browser their head is brown their peak is blackish blue or dark colored and their feet are dark colored their dark brownish black.

"I want to keep that in mind power nor got your gilded totally and when we get into theories which is going to happen shortly yeah that's when we'll get into that's what we can have a lot of that the discussion does play into a lot of the theories which there are not that many theories but there's a lot of stuff in yet so let's there's just a little bit here that i have to go through and then we'll we'll get into the theories because so far nothing that i've told people for the most part about the washington eagle really makes it sound much different than the bald eagle except for maybe some colouring things except evan told you the whole story i audubon was basically as i said the only one to officially records seeing one of these eagles so that's a problem based on his accounts though it was unlike its cousins and it didn't have any white plumage hark really well you said it was a male the one that he shot with a male yes i was just going to say a female bald eagles are brown now eagles no the the the coloring does not depend on a sound legal you may i think you might the golden media you're thinking of the ron birth in anthem no no no i want to i want everybody to hear what a foul error you may nah okay but soon oh so this like a hot that kind of does but the thing is is that it doesn't have any of that white plumage of the third problem of course as i said is there's no surviving specimens because the few that supposedly existed have either been lost destroyed by time and poor storage or maybe fires the fourth problem is from the description that audubon gave other than the size of the bird hit matches a.

"Now if we think about bald eagles in particular they they're semi scavengers semi bully birds they don't care if they find the fisher already dead or they're also pro a known to chase other birds away like austrade catch a fish and the bald eagles will harass them so much that they'll leave the fish behind get away access so that happened right out here and ross island once on a couple of eagles going after dealer gathered as six pm on spare also really good in catching fish they are much better than baldi there i mean the they'll also the they're like most birds of prey they'll also he mammals so they're really opportunistic and if there is a meal to be had in these easy to get and they will get is their plan that is their method where here's economic and places like alaska were bald eagles are currently your carrier dargo kosovo like carried away i actually had friends who this was twenty plus years ago worked in cannery and said that the place was just lousy with bald eagles route hairy you couldn't get rid of them because they were just scavenging 'cause we just made a way to good eats easy gives easy lunch easy dinner have why would you leave so something that we should note about the description of the eagle from audubon and this will go because i know a lot of people now devon you've got a bunch of people thinking will i wonder if it was the california condor he was looking at.

"I have not seen that description on any bird of prey because if you think about it a bird of prey uses its feet tick catch living animals that are likely to thrash and fight back so we need some defenses their thing it does it added there are big birds that have you to formally scaled lead but i i didn't see a whole lot on that in the bird of prey for calming condors have sorry skin he goes i know you're they have that like kenneth scaly i mean they're scavengers mostly so they have that kind of scaly type the big spoiling a little scales more like pedley like the song were birds can you i mean i would you describe that as that's probably rape i would yeah that's that's kind of heavily we'll just saying yeah continuing to say and and you're looking at oranje condor california con trick which are s super rare and endangered jim gone through other throat adult gopalan audubon shooting why don't you really not do that anyway sorry that's okay i don't you that's a good example relating a bird there would have the kind of feed yeah but they are at their scavengers they're not really hunters i mean mel they're not they're not birds deli owner fish as a primary source of their food yeah okay audubon decides that the washington eagle is what is known as a c eagle which puts it in the genus.

"And when it comes to eagles the males of the species are the smaller of the two sexes accurate which means that the females would have been even larger mohsen most birds actually yeah that typically is the way it is in a row them actually what like a lot of species i won't yeah it's it's a i i'm not going to say why don't i can't think of what the division is but there is certain animal kingdoms where it is the female is the larger of the two and are others word is the male and i don't understand why that is i'm sure that that is a huge long conversation and investigation that i just don't have the brain powerful groups who ran on to her and i don't think it that idea i'm i'm guessing that's not it so with your back to the washington eagle because there's a couple more things that he describes that are unusual one is that he describes the tarsus of the bird as having uniform scaling which tarsus is the the bones and the feet he's talking about the skin on the birds feet because if you look at like normal eagles they've got some really big scales at the front of each toe and then they're kind of their scales all over the foot worse if you look like a song bird is got kind of heavily scare or like chickens they've they're the skin on their feet almost with like has rings to it through two different skin type in this uniform pattern that he describes doesn't match up with any other eagle that is no did they match up with another type of burn.
