Is Pure Evil the Reason Behind Mass Murderers?

"But you have to ask yourself how is it explainable other than the existence of pure evil You say oh it's mental health is it Is it mental health Because let me tell you something again I hate citing education two days in a row so it's going to have to stop for at least another 6 months Because it's just weak people cite their education when they can't explain an argument without relying on their CV right But for a moment forgive me folks there are a lot of people who have serious mental health disorders Schizophrenia is schizoaffective disorders personality issues bipolar disorder TBIs There are a lot of people who have serious cerebral damage They don't go out and murder a bunch of 9 year olds You know and you say well maybe it's just like the video games and the entertainment Well like I said yesterday I don't think a lot of that stuff helps but I don't blame them I mean I like video games growing up I used to watch Chuck Norris movies and James Bond movies You know my dad let me watch invasion USA when I was I don't know how old I was 8 9 There was a lot of dead bodies in that I never went out and be like wow that would be cool if I could whack a few people That never happened either So if it's not the mental health and it's not the video games it is not the violent movies Is it some combination of it all I mean maybe evil is the explanation

Charlie Breaks Down Unique Characteristics of the Georgia Electorate

"A fan of Brian Kemp, I've spoke about it openly and I believe that David perdue would be a great governor. Now, Donald Trump has endorsed David perdue as David perdue was mounting a primary challenge against Brian Kemp. But you must understand that the political landscape of Georgia is very much a good old boys network. It's a lot of local counties back slapping. Did you come to the local high school football game? Did you get good tickets at the university of Georgia football game? And I don't want to accuse Brian Kemp of anything illegal. That's not what I'm doing here, but it definitely is a patronage system in Georgia. Now, some states that really isn't the case. I can tell you right now, Arizona is not a good old boys network. There is that kind of McCain group in Arizona, but in Arizona, if you haven't lived here, if you just kind of moved here, you can, excuse me, you can kind of upstart and you can kind of run. Now you've got, of course, there's an establishment you have to navigate. But Georgia, it's a very much of a, who were you? Did you check the boxes? You know, were you able to take care of the right people? So Brian Kemp made a brilliant political move where he basically metaphorically neutered David perdue, where he put the more powerful Purdue, which was sunny perdue, I believe his name, which was, I think they're relatives on that mistake. I think their cousins and he appointed them to some sort of university board, which all but basically destroyed the fundraising ability of the entire Purdue network. So Kemp took care of a fellow Purdue in the family, which kind of, let's say, blunt was thwarted a lot of David perdue's ability to be able to continue to raise capital. Now, David perdue made a decision not to run for the United States Senate. That looks like it's going to be the great Herschel Walker. But Kemp worked the state, Kemp was able to maximize corporate donations. There's a lot of, there's a lot of powerful corporations in Georgia, CNN, obviously, is headquartered in Atlanta. I don't think they gave money to Purdue. Coca-Cola is headquartered in Atlanta, at least they said they hated Brian Kemp, Home Depot, was headquartered for quite a while in Atlanta, Delta Air Lines for a while was headquartered in Atlanta. There's a lot of there's a lot of companies that have a significant presence in the state of Georgia. It's a, it's always kind of prided itself on being a quote unquote, pro business state. To a fault, by the way, where Georgia invited Hollywood liberals for years via this phony and crony tax credit system where you bring in the Will Ferrell's and the Kevin Hart's of the world where they become like pseudo citizens of Georgia and they overly finance these elections. One of the many reasons why Georgia has become a battleground state which never should have become a battleground state. But

"But let's get back to Kamala because she's clearly realized this is not a winning situation at all. And I found this really fascinating. If you look at her schedule that the LA times actually keeps tabs on, what you would see is that actually in the last 8 months, she hasn't done any events. On the border. I mean, wow, right? Talking about a shifting focus, which is exactly what they call it. In fact, the title of this section in the piece in the LA times is called Harris shifting focus. The subject matter of the events has also changed they write over time. According to our analysis, the times analysis of the text of her schedules, these charts of the frequency of events for select categories over time and you see all the categories and what do you know, immigration has declined significantly. You see, it is a no win issue for her. I get it, but this is a problem, right? This is, this is intrinsically so much of the problem. Because you get a bunch of politicians out there that are just doing what's right for them right now. They think, okay, we'll just play in Peoria. If it does, great, if it doesn't, I'm running from that issue as fast as I can. And so nobody's actually trying to solve anything. She's not actually trying to fix this. She talked a good game about the root causes, right? Why we have these immigration problems? The root causes are the reality that you get tons of corruption. You get socialist regimes down there. You've got violence, you've got drug cartels, and instead of saying, hey, we don't want it here, I don't know what she's trying to do. She's trying to say she's going to fix it all. Good luck, okay? You're not going to fix it. You're just not going to fix it overnight. Certainly. I don't have the money in the wherewithal to fix it. So don't you want to kind of prevent it from coming here?

"No question. They've been able to rally. They've been able to rally from that and now have the really good seed situation. Shout out to Brett edgerton, who works at ESPN. He tweeted this out. This is a great find. Top four teams in the SEC, auburn, Tennessee, Kentucky Arkansas, a combined 63 and one at home this season, 63 and one. You're not winning at those joints. Unless trivia time. Okay. It was the one team that has one win against all four of those teams. There's only one time, one loss. That's happened. Who did it? Vanderbilt. Go, you got it. Yeah, I mean, this is what I was talking about. Like Arkansas. The reason Arkansas can have a great record against ranked teams, but still only be a four seed is because they dinged up their resume with stupid losses to hofstra. Vanderbilt, Texas a and M, you know, Mississippi Oklahoma, top 50 Kim pom teens, but that's where when they went to that stretch where they were, you know, they lost 5 of 6, one of those was hofstra and another was Vanderbilt at home. One of my good friends, golf party, she has to prep. He grew up in Arkansas. So like Arkansas is always a big topic of conversation. And I just remember him texting in the group text. We're about to lose at home the Vanderbilt. TP, tell me it's going to be okay. I was like, it'll be fine. It's not fine right now, but I didn't expect it to be this fine. But I didn't see this one coming. Yeah, so that's the 6. And then, oh, by the way, TCU does well for itself. Beats Texas tech. Texas tech? One in 5 in the last 6 road games against unranked teams. Kind of surprising there. But Texas tech is still fine overall. Good one for the frogs who have not danced since 19 or only one dance since 98. Jamie Dixon's got a good shot. Not quite there. More work to do, gotta play Kansas toy. You beat Texas tech. Everything are right now. But now they're gonna go play Kansas twice. Yeah, that's awesome. I mean, they're not there without another win, they gotta do some more. If they beat Kansas, forget about it. Fuck it about it. But they're not, they're not there yet. The tournament started today. "This is what being a father is. It's just one chaotic there's one thing after another. Do you need to go resolve this? No, it's fine. I said, I said Lou's got my iPad. But here's the thing. Okay, to be clear. What else is he going to text? To be clear about the text, Eric musselman? He has, he has exactly, this is the scenario we have to be rooting for. He has your iPad connected to your iMessage, so he is texting other people and the messages that are being received are from you. Obviously you're 5 year old does not have his own phone number and your friend is not getting text messages from a 5 year old identified as a 5 year old saying play with me. He thinks it's you. No, I know. I'm hoping it stops right there. Okay. Because there's a lot of numbers in my phone. Yeah, I mean, there's a lot of opportunities and options there. You may need to get this in control. But can you see the next messages in real time on your iMessage? You should be able to, right? Yes. All right, so if this gets into a bad spot here, you just let me know. Yeah, if it gets out of hand, I'll have to go before we continue. Just what's the first letter of your friend's name? What's the first letter? T okay, so T, what coach, what coach is in your phone? We got what? He's about the text Tony Barbie. Tony Bennett. Tony Bennett? There's a lot of Johnny Ben, it's not responding in the 10 o'clock hour on a Sunday Night. I can guarantee you. What if Tony Bennett gets a tech for me at 10 o'clock on a Sunday Night saying play with me? TJ Austen burger. When my kids knew, figured out that you can call people through Alexa, like, hey, Alexa, call Kelly Parrish. You know, like that, they, once they figured that out, I walked in one day because my kids, you know, they watched the grizzlies. And father, I walked in one day. And my kid had said, Alexa, call Mike Conley. And he was like, calling Mike Conley. I was like, you can dot com, Conley. Stop. Ah. Tommy Lloyd, another one. One of my 5 year old ticks Tommy Lloyd. Why don't you get your brains beat in at Colorado? I mean, it's like, it doesn't mean anything. It doesn't even matter. It doesn't matter. Nothing changes. I think changes. To you, perish. This is what I'm dealing with right now. Just amazing. Okay, Michigan. Did the win, Eileen, this is not going to alter the course of Michigan state season and they'll have some good wins and some losses and whatever and we'll look up. But, you know, you get a win over Purdue. Maybe it gets them on the right track Tom as though, you know, it's Tom aso. So what's your takeaway on that? I think it stops the bleeding. I think it removes bubble talk from the conversation. 'cause they were headed in that direction. I think they still are a good but not great team. And they get into the tournament. And maybe losing around a 64, if not probably losing the round at 32. I think that's who they are. Fair, Purdue is averaging 82.2 points going into this game. Michigan state held it to 65, as I mentioned before. Purdue over his past 5 and oh, by the way, we talk about the defense, understandably, teams have been getting a little hip to what they're doing. Purdue is averaging 67.8 in this past 5 prior to that. It was well above 85. So I don't know. We'll see. I'm not, I'm not bailing on the Purdue train, not happening. Pun intended not happening yet. I picked him in the preseason when the national championship. I'll stick with that until we at least get to the bracket. When we have a bracket, have the right to change my mind, but I'll still stick with them. Still number one rated and points per possession. My other question to you, I'll drop this here now. I was going to wait till the end, but given what we said about Arizona and we got two more to get to. Which team do you think who lost on Saturday among the top 6 or again throw in Texas tech if you want to? The rank team in the top ten that lost on Saturday. Which one do you think is most likely for the loss to start something where the next few weeks they're kind of just a bit jagged and we can look back and say, remember that crazy Saturday, that kind of where it started with this team? Like, they don't get to the sweet 16. They might take another loss or two. They don't win their conference tournament. What's the ones that lost you think that's most likely for? And which of the teams that lost? Do you think it will mean nothing in so much that maybe they don't even lose again and they win the national title? Which ones would you align with those two? Well, I think it would be scheduled related, right? Yes. Yeah, I would say the one that I'm not worried about at all is Gonzaga. Like I just, you know, I think they're legit, you know, they played in two of the past four national championship games and their computer numbers are significantly stronger than everybody else's. I think is agile when two games in the WCC tournament and then be in New Orleans with us. Kentucky, I think they'll be fine because the schedule is, you know, it's home against old.

"Jabari, 26 and 12 here. Had a pretty good game, you know? It was a real difference maker, walker Kessler was pretty good. But they just couldn't hold on, man. They couldn't hold on to the lead late. They wind up losing 69 66. It won't surprise me if we get to that point. They need green and Katie Johnson to a certain extent as well. They just need to be a bit more consistent. They're learning those lessons now. Can they get out of those habits in time for the postseason? I'm not completely skeptical of it, but I certainly think it's happening enough here where if you're an auburn fan, you're thrilled with the season, but you're like, are we kind of looking at a team that might not be able to get out of its own way on the way to trying to get to the final four? You mentioned Tennessee's offensive rebounding. They had 21 offensive rebounds on 41 missed shots. 52.2 offensive rebounding percentage. I felt rageous. Auburn was 5 of 24 from three. On the season, if you're looking for a real problem with him, they shoot 31.8% from three. Makes 273rd and a con three. Jabari was awesome, like you noted, but they've got to get sharper in some other areas. You know, three and three in the past 6, you know, this is a team that at one point, you know, until they lost that Arkansas was on a really long winning streak, ranked number one in the country, had not lost since before. Thanksgiving. Had not lost in regulation and all of that stuff has gone now. They need to close the regular season a little more impressively. Or else, they're going to enter the tournament with some bigger questions than we probably thought were going to be there just a few weeks ago. Let me ask you this about Tennessee. Massive wins. Be Kentucky, Arizona. Beat auburn. Those are the teams ranked second fourth and 9th You gave the resume 12 and 7 the first two quadrants all 7 losses in quadrant one, all 7 losses away from home. Rock solid stuff. Best win outside of Knoxville is over North Carolina. I noticed, yeah. Does that concern you? Maybe a little bit. Their road neutral combined is 6 and 7 at this point. So maybe a little bit if you want some comparisons to other teams in their realm, Villanova, ten and 6 road neutral combined duke ten and two wrote a neutral combined auburn ten and four road neutral combined, even Purdue, which has been slipping as of late 9 and four road neutral combined UCLA, 8 and 5 road neutral combined. So when they are not playing at Thompson bowling, undefeated, 15 and O, yes, there is a little bit of concern there overall. I still like them a lot. And the tournament can sometimes, you know, teams can find their way by the time we get to march and once you're in like a, not that these other environments aren't neutral. They are. But like the NCA tournament is a neutral environment unto itself, particularly before you get to the final four there. I think they can still be a matchup deal with them and they can have some success there. It would surprise me if Tennessee, let's just say Tennessee's a three. It would surprise me with who they have and how good they are defensively if they were a 14 over three victim. Not knowing who the 14 would be in the, I would be pretty surprised if this team was vulnerable as a three C this year. I think they're pretty steady. Number four, Purdue. Lost that Michigan state. 68, 65. This is going to blow your mind. Purdue needed a stop on the final possession. Couldn't get it. Man, this was a game though. This was a game. This was an important game for Michigan state. Let me talk on Sparta first. Do you think that this win because Michigan state had been bad? Had lost 5 to 6 going into this one. Do you think that this is the one where we look up and Thomas has got Michigan state in the Big Ten tournament? Like this is going to be the thing that kind of gets him back going on the right path or is this kind of like big time's a good league, a lot of good teams, a little bit of randomness to this. They're at home. They win a close one. They get it done. But big picture, whatever. They'll win a couple more, they lose a couple more before we get to selection someday. I'll answer but first let me tell you what I'm dealing with right here. Okay, what do we got? So my wife had to go to a market today because she owns a children's boutique. You have to shop for it. I'm here with the kids alone. So I got 8 year old and the 5 year old downstairs. And I hand them the two iPads. And say, please don't fight. Please don't hurt each other. And please don't come upstairs unless it's emergency. Yep. And I'll be downstairs just as soon as I'm done. So I just get a text message from a friend. It's like a question mark. It pops up on my computer. And I click on it. And I can see that I have been texting him. But it's not me. It's my 5 year old. And my 5 year old is text in the person. Play with me, please. Play with me. And this person's like, what are you talking about? What are we playing?.

"Arizona came into this game averaging 85.2. It scored 63. We had actually this, if you look at a lot of these results from the top 6 teams that went down, a lot of them high scoring teams that were really taken off their track and to a significant, you know, to a significant matter. We had Gonzaga, and we had with Arizona. We'll talk about Purdue in a second. That was true as well. And by the way, Colorado was coming off a loss to Arizona state. There was, this was the one where it was, come on now. This is the most surprising, because Colorado is the only non NCA tournament team of the top 6. And again, if you want to include TCU in Texas tech, I thought this was the one that was and plus like it was a definitive win. Like, someone made a little bit of a push, so I would tend to agree with Tommy and what he's saying there broadly speaking, but still I was like a little. I was a little taken aback. I actually expected like halftime, it's a game I'm like, yeah, I think Arizona is just going to go Arizona here. I've seen them do this a lot this season, and it just didn't happen. I thought this was the one that was truly surprising. Got to agree with that, right? Yeah, I mean, they were big favorites. And they got, I mean, they were certainly favored. Maybe not big. Gonzaga was double digit favorite. I don't think Arizona was that. But they might have been. I honestly don't remember. Yeah. Yeah, but to lose by 16 points, yeah, yes. Obviously surprising. But, you know, big picture it doesn't matter that much. Arizona handles business from here, they'll still win the PAC 12 regular season title. And they'll still be a number one seed in the tournament. I guess it takes away a little wiggle room, but not much. I thought Tommy's quote was a pretty accurate description of what they should do with that game. All right, it's over. We lost here. The pack 12 champion usually loses here. Not a big deal. Let's get ready for USC. Number three auburn lost at Tennessee 67, 62. Albert had an 11 point lead with 1642 left, and then they went 8 23 without a field goal. By the time they got their next field goal, they were down 45, 43. So nothing inherently embarrassing or negative about losing at Tennessee, literally everybody who's played at Tennessee this season has lost, including Arizona and Kentucky. But when you're up, you know, 11 was 16 to play. Against the team that's been better offensively, but it's still not a great offensive team. You feel like you let one slip away there if you Bruce pearl. No question about it. How about this? First time, these two teams met at Thompson bowling and both were ranked since 2000. In 22 years since it happened relatively surprising even though auburn had some really lean years, but I didn't realize it had been 22 years south to Chris Porter there. Walls were really good on defense, man. And they were great on the offensive boards that came dermish headquarters brought that up when we were doing the highlight and the analysis of this. They were downright necessary on that end of the floor, which was big and then Sakai ziegler Kennedy Chandler. From Memphis, sometimes I watch this duo when I'm like, they have something about them where if fulkerson's playing well and everything around him is kind of coming together, Santiago vesca as well. By the way, confirmed its vesca V. I've heard of a scope, vesca V. It's best to be. One of the absolutely make sure over the weekend, investigative. Yeah. Well, we'll get there in a second. But the point I can see that elite 8 can easily see it. Now, what's interesting, there's 7 and 7 quad one, 12 and 7 and quad two, all the losses are in quad one, and all team sheet metrics as of Sunday morning were between 6 and 11. The resume is really good. They've got these high end wins against projected one and two seats there. I came away not, first of all, took the balls, not surprised by that. Yes, the way the auburn gave it away was a bit surprising. Auburn's three and three inches last 6. It's had struggles on the road, obviously. And what's weird is like, so jabari Smith, he's averaging what 25 and change in his last four games. And in the past two weekends, auburn's gone on the road, it's loss, jabari has been awesome in both games. And it hasn't corresponded with a victory. They're doing what we're asking them to do. You have the potential number one pick on your team. He's getting his touches. He's making shots and plays. He had a play at the top of the key as a Trey that sank. And I'm like, this is like, if you're going to boil it down as to why it's like, show me one play. Just one play, quick encapsulation. Why will he be in the conversation to be the number one pick? It was that play. And yet it's not, it's not the thing that's going to keep auburn on the one line and then the final four conversation because I do think Wendell green junior, they need him to be more consistent. I think that was a major, major issue. In this game, as it's been in recent games there, jabari can be awesome, but and I'm not going to predict this happens parish, but it won't surprise me. If we're talking once we get to the NCAA tournament, we're doing a nightly recap of that sweet 16 games that day and we see auburn. Let's just say auburn's a two seat, right? Whatever. One two three whatever, but they lose to a lower seat of team. And.

"17? Oh, you're close. 2019, WCC title game. That's the only other time. So they are now two and 11 all time against AP number one ranked teams. Saint Mary's got it done. Listen, I, to me, it was more about saint Mary's and Gonzaga. But if you want to make it about Gonzaga, I completely understand. That's totally fine. By all means, but this was, to me, first of all, I was watching this game, I was like, look at this crew saint Mary's has on the floor right now doing this to Gonzaga. It was just awesome. They had an Adam Morrison understudy dressed in red. That dude love it. Tommy cussy. Tommy cousy, come on now. Guy looks like he's balling out against Gonzaga, and then he's ready for the UFC after cardin. Once the game's done, incredible. Incredible stuff there. Good, good on saint Mary's. Team can make the sweet 16, yes or no. Of course they can. Yeah, they can. Like, they're legit good. And I think you're better at ignoring the Gonzaga skeptics than I am. But I tweeted it at some point, the same thing everybody else tweeted. The team's right second, third, fourth, 5th, and 6th. They've all lost today, and number one Gonzaga is playing right now. And somebody's like, well, they would lose two if they played somebody. I was like, saint Mary's is top 25 and basically every computer. Like saint Mary's is legit good. Like playing at saint Mary's is like playing at Texas, but for whatever reason, it doesn't resonate with people the same way. I agree. I agree. Saint Mary's was impressive to me. So and I would, I think that's the one that will prevent them from being like truly off the radar sneaky sweet 16 pick as you beat Gonzaga that way. But I think it also gets Gonzaga back on track. Who said it? Someone said it. I can't remember who, but they basically said, listen, Gonzaga was almost like sleepwalking to the end of the season. Maybe they needed to wake up game. And maybe they did. And maybe this was maybe this was that game. They're the one seed and they'll play Saturday, I think, in the WCC semis. They finished 16 and O at home this season, saint Mary's does, and they just collapsed on drew Timmy. I mean, they made life difficult for him. He was O of 8 from the field in the first half, finished two of ten from the field and the game had four turnovers. Chet was bad. Just a bad performance all the way around. Just a bad performance. If you mark for you, hope like, all right, we got that out of us. Dad, we won't do another one of those 'cause maybe not surprising that saint Mary's won the game. Really surprising that Gonzaga never led for a second of that game. They were down the entire time, and now both of these teams are off until next Monday. When they will play in the West Coast conference, semifinals. It's that far. It's not even Saturday. It's next Monday. It's always next Monday. Yeah, yeah, yeah, okay. I have the calendar screwed up in my own. Yeah, because they always go Monday. That's right, San Francisco's on the four and their Saturday. Yep, I got you. Yeah, so yeah, semifinals, next Monday, championship game next Tuesday night. If it goes as bracketed, we will watch Gonzaga saint Mary's again. Number two Arizona got smoked at Colorado, 79, 63. Tommy Lloyd afterward said, this game has no impact on anything. And he's basically right, Arizona still about to win a PAC 12 title. They can actually clinch it if they beat USC on Tuesday, Arizona still projected as a number one seed. In the NCAA tournament. So I don't think he was trying to downplay the loss as much as he would just speaking factually. Like everything we want to do when our league and be a one seed, the inspire tournament, that stuff is still on the table even with this loss and obviously it's technically true. If you're looking at the Ken pom, box score here, you can see the wind probability, that red line there. It's got a steeper vert drop than going to breckinridge. You hear me, brah? You hear me? No, okay. I'll skip talk for you. How about this? Did you realize I'm not going to trivia time you? Did you realize Arizona has lost 5 games in a row at Colorado? House of horse. How about this? Did you realize this? The PAC 12 champion has lost at Colorado 5 of the past 6 seasons. So what is this? You do not walk into what is this? Is this the course on or what is it? What is it? What is it? Hold on, let me look. Let me look. No idea. I should know, and I feel like I know it. I've been there, I think, and I don't know what it's called. See you event center. Okay. You know what? I actually appreciate the very basic approach. It's to see you event center. What do you want from us? Why would I have been a ten minute meeting three decades ago? We got to name this thing. Anyone got any good ideas? No, so you have event center meeting adjourned. Sounds good. I've been there, but I don't remember why. We're getting a Spencer Dinwiddie arena, comment from Russ. I do, I do like the Dinwiddie. Okay, so that is kind of a while stat, though. This.

"16s lose is not in your top 40. Maybe top 30. I might have been all jacked up on the euphoria stuff when we started here. But yeah, I mean, I'm not gonna sit here research and list it out for you in real time on the pod, but yes, I could easily list off like ten to 12 first second sweet 16 games that would be more emotionally rewarding and chaotically uplifting and wild and then what we had. Again, Gonzaga lost on the road. Arizona lost on the road a ranked team auburn lost on the road to a ranked team, Kentucky lost on the road to a ranked team. Kansas lost on the road to a ranked team, so it's wild, but it's not like absolutely nutty. Well, here's the other thing that I think some people have left out. Auburn was an underdog in the country. Kansas was an underdog on the road. As the 5th ranked team in the country and Kentucky was an underdog on the road as the 6th ranked team in the country. So three of the top 6 were actually supposed to lose before we even got up on Saturday morning. I thought it was four you might be right, but when we were getting ready to do the stuff at the end of the day, someone told me two of the 6 were upsets, but you probably have it right more than I do. Arkansas was minus two and a half. I thought Baylor was maybe minus three or four and I thought Tennessee was actually a Tennessee was favored and the Arkansas, as we said on the Friday episode, didn't we get? Can we get the hogs as a dog? I think we got the hugs as a dog maybe. Just a dog is a final four and one. But anyway, before we get to the game by game thoughts, what are your thoughts on what we saw there Saturday? I just thought it was an awesome day. I was able to sit at home in my office and I was, you know, I had some headquarters responsibilities, but very little you did most of the heavy lifting yesterday, and then I was, I think I had three different hits today, two postgame hits in a hit setting up the day. But, you know, I was, I was able to be at home for most of the day and really focus on, hey, I'm just gonna watch games today. I mean, I had other things going on. When you got two young kids at home, you've always got something going on. But from for me, central time zone, 11 a.m. central until the night ended nearly at midnight, you had one fun, interesting game after another. There are some of these Saturdays where I'm, you know, where you hit a window and it's like, there's nothing good in this window. There's no really great games in this window. And it felt like on Saturday, the first window had Michigan state Purdue, the last window had Gonzaga, saint Mary's, and in between, you had everything else. And there was never a two hour window where something significant wasn't happening. Some compelling game wasn't unfolding, which, you know, it makes for a long day, but a fun day. I agree with that. And I thought, again, this, on the last Saturday of February, as we ramp up from March, I thought was just, it was just perfect and reflective of what I think we're going to have in terms of a conversational standpoint, and then analysis with the bracket. Everybody's good. Nobody's great. Again, I do think that there are easily a dozen, really, you know, 16 to 20 teams that have final four capability, and I thought the results on Saturday reflected that. You want to go game by game here and chat these chat these results give our takeaways? Yeah, so rather than just bounce around all randomly and say, hey, just see that shot by toss Tyson walker and then what'd you think of Kellen Grady not really getting anything on? Like let's just stay in between the lines and we'll take each of these games briefly one by one starting with the number one team and finishing with the 6 ranked team. But first, a word from our sponsors. There is a divergence from time. Welcome to the road, not taken. Earth, 2024. The single training is the last of the more dangerous than you realize. None of our tomorrows are guaranteed. We must agree this whole. You have.

Two players doing press conferences together, at least sometimes. So here are the quarterback Allen and the wide receiver Beasley. Yeah. I mean, obviously, it's not Well, we hope for what we strive for. How we wanted to start the season. Um, well, that's why we're playing 17 of them. You know, we're not Expecting to win them all. You know, we go into each game expecting to win, but we understand that it's a long season. Um, a lot to learn from from this tape, Obviously, starting with me just Early on, just being maybe a little too aggressive instead of just finding some easier things and use your throws, Um, but you know, pass off. That's a really good team. They had a really good plan today and They came out and, you know, they played good like you're pressing at any time. Earlier in the game went on to maybe, thanks for Not all the way you wanted him to offensively. Did you feel like Pressing, maybe before intended. I don't think so, Um You know certain situations in the game you got to Got to figure out how to how to get something going. Um You know, we just We didn't have everything today and again. Just early and just finding some things and missing Emmanuel on the deep throw. Obviously, that's when I went back when a defense like this gives you that type of opportunity. You got to execute and make those plays happen. Um, you know I didn't. We didn't. It is what it is, Um, but again, it's a good tape to learn from and you know, it's never as good Never as bad as you think on tape. That's when we'll hand things off to the Brewers Radio network as Jeff Lovering and laying Grendel will have the call of the game today. Yesterday, an interesting day for the Brewers playing US split doubleheader to seven inning games. It was just There was very little that was normal about yesterday, and probably most notably, I never ever ever ever would have thought that they would have been able to find a way to get through each game without even a rain delay. I don't know. I don't know what percent I would have put on that going into yesterday. Maybe 10%, maybe less than that. I mean, the weather just looked Horrendous and somehow, some way there were There was times where the rain was coming down. They were able to play through it. "No one picking each other up. These are just terrible terrible signs. This is the worst you can hope for a tough is it is these are all things that you don't want to hear after a game just like guys that are think everybody out. Nobody. Nobody taking like the blame everyone's just saying like well, we're not none of us are playing well and you know, we're folding under pressure or not paying, you know with this defensive intensity. It's like what is that? What's going on in that locker room? How much do you think it's a one? How much do you think it's good players? How much do you guys think? It's the good players basically this home. Coded language for the good players saying everyone else on this team sucks. But us like how much of it you think is a good players. Like there's three good players on this team and everyone else blows and really that's what they're saying when they say we I don't think there's much of that John because the good players money winning a little bit the good players aren't playing good. I mean, right, you know, when they go. Yeah when they go back and they look at video from each game..

"In finals appearances a former captain of the US women's national soccer team. Welcome to the rich Eisen show Christie Pearce rampant. How are you, are you right? What is it like to step on the field representing this country in such an event like this? What does it feel pretty amazing? You know, it's the journey to get there and then, once you make that final roster and you're on that stage, the big stage, you know, there's a lot of. Pressure. All the countries are they're competing for the same thing winning that World Cup. It's unbelievable. But if to game by game that's I think the biggest pitcher of making sure don't look too far ahead. Sure. And that's the part of the process of winning World Cup by just looking around I match. Right. National anthem plan. I cannot imagine what feeling must of course you get the chills. Yeah. You're playing for your country. You know, you think about all those all the prep work leading into it. And you kind of just listened to that national anthem digest it. And then that was the blows. It's game on. So now let's talk about the, the prospects for the women's national team this time around ranked first, obviously and fie rankings, but a totally different team, even though they are, I guess, technically longer in the tooth in most about their average age of twenty eight I set the table distance and things off to you and what you think of the chances for the team this year. I think they tend to there are very good. You know, we're coming into this World Cup ready and prepared. I think we'll be peaking at the right time. We're very deep in the attacking side of the game. I think we are little lacking in depth in the defensive side as a unit. But I think overall you're going to see the US scoring a lot of goals in this World Cup, very different than two thousand fifteen which was a solid defensive unit less goals being scored. But I think with our attack with Alex Morgan, Meghan routine. Oh, Tobin heath. Their chemistry up top is going to be something special to watch, obviously leadership of people like yourself Abby Wambach not there who, who does fill that void. Fantasy Meghan repeal and Alex Morgan. I think stepping up in those difficult moments because in the game of soccer ninety minutes, there are moments where you're going to lapse, and you just matters how you're gonna get out of it, you know. And I think the players will look to those to, to really help them get through it as well as Lloyd coming on by Layton games. Well, the, the tournament starts with the host French team taking on the career Republic. That'll be on Friday tomorrow. Three eastern on f s one first match for the United States. Women's national team is against Thailand live on FOX at three in the afternoon, eastern time on Tuesdays. Is that a is that a good thing that it takes the first matches later in the first round? Kinda see the game the tournament. You know from watching it from afar. Getting used to being in France, the environment, the distractions. And I think, you know, playing against Thailand, which is a lesser opponent, so they should be able to start getting the nerves out, you know, especially with a lot of younger players on the team in the mid field. So I think it be good for them to go from Thailand and then to Chile and then Sweden who will be there their best opponent in the group stage what we know about Sweden. All right. Obviously, this is the the side that knocked team USA out of the real Olympics in two thousand sixteen. We all know what choice words hope solo had back then. What, what do you think is there is a rivalry game? Do you think get a little bit playing Sweden a lot in group stage? I definitely think it's the first time says, I think it's a rival our old coach Pierre soon Hogg, who was from Sweden, noses very well. And I think in the Olympics, you know there's a lot of mind games per se. I think in that in that game she's no longer the coach Sweden, definitely always comes after. Beat the US. I think they've heard about the US for so long that everybody's gone in for the US. Let's be honest, but Sweden has something I think extra in their motivation to beat the US, but hearing about all the time. So that'll be a difficult game. But it's group stage the top two teams advance in each group. So you'll see the US move on. And now be determining factor of who they'll meet in the round of sixteen and then onto the quarters. So who's the one in the round of the round of sixteen that lurks right now, if you look over the steering wheel, right? I think, you know, coming up against a Spain, or Canada or Netherlands are teams that we could meet in the round of sixteen all very technical teams. Spain is very organized tough to break down defensively. They have a great attack. So it's, it's going to be each game is going to be kind of a different game plan heading into from the round of sixteen on through Tom World Cup champion three time Olympic gold medalist with Fox Sports for this World Cup Christie Pearce rampant here on the rich Eisen show. Give me the name of somebody. Young player from team USA that we might be talking about a little bit more one week from today two weeks from today. Midfield. You're gonna see Lindsey her ran in Roosevelt, and their first World Cups, you know, breaking barriers. I think you're going to see them have exceptional games their experience in the fact they've, they've played in high level games, but they just haven't been in a World Cup. So I would see them be breakout players in this World Cup. And what would you say if you were on this squad to the younger players, what advice, would you give this relax? Enjoy the moment, you know, take it minute by minute. And don't look past each game because they the goal is to win the World Cup. And I think if you get too anxious to stress about getting to that final you lose your momentum throughout the game. So it's just, you know limit the distractions focus on the team in the locker room. Keep the locker room going going well and confident and just take a game by game. When you say distractions, you mean like hanging in France for a weekend or for a month. Distractions of like social media media, as well as like family and friends. That's probably the hardest thing is making time for those people are coming over to support you, but also realize that you have to like your legs job. Yeah, thank you can enjoy translator. I'm just saying there's no, I would imagine downtime here downtime because you're prepping you know once you finish that game you're prepping onto the next game and resting travelling recovering and preparing for the next opponent or let's, let's stop e so nationalistic for quick, second here else. Elsewhere outside of these United States. Give me a group of desert group of death. They so called group of death in this in this draw. Is a group of death death. I think there's you pretty much can look across the board and see the top two coming out of each group, it'll be that third. There's four third place teams that will advance but you always have to look at Germany. France England is making a run a Young Australia team that's doing very well. It doesn't matter who you meet up with. And then, you know where the US will fall into place reaching the quarters on now you were here, watching in our green room in the at the end of the last hour Pierce rampant here on the rich Eisen show and you watched the three of us draw ideas are adopted nation states. Yes. Out of our deadwood hat you have named two of the sides that we plucked out a hat. Unfortunately, Mike del to five yet to hear Christie talk about Nigeria. Much sorry, my, so if you don't mind, which could make a run. Okay. We'll say they're very athletic. They're fast. Okay. Mike so far. That's okay. And they give up. Yeah. Very athletic. So, you know, younger team come into their own longer. Team though. Mike. Have you already mucked up who who is? Group stage. So we'll see you're saying there's a chance chances the possibility. Okay. What about England England's going to do well, they've got coach and Phil novel. He's played at the highest level. He's got these girls confident ready. So you've got good one, okay. For good things to how you already talked about Spain having fun to watch. Okay. Yes. Okay. But but team USA is standing in the way say in the way I wasn't going to choose team USA out of the hat. And I hopefully wasn't gonna just choose somebody who just look at me go unfortunately that'll be quick one. I just didn't want somebody who was going to be right in the way of team USA out of Spain possibly and around sixteen by, but you never know the actor Timothy elephant shows Canada, he chose wisely candidates. Very good. They've okay. The coming along. They have Sinclair, who has like four goals away from beating Abby Wambach record. She's someone I played against for many years, very good leader. So they have a good leadership on on Canada. Who's the best competitor who ever played with, with abbey hands down your stutter Abbes? What was that show just because she has this mentality that no one else brings the game like she loves the pressure. She's able to finish and be composed in the box, and that is a sign of good athletes. Specially good forward that just is mindful of others, but she's just the triple threat. She's, you know, she's so good in the air. She's a great leader. She can finish their feet or head. She's just someone you want on your team. One of those players teammates that you didn't want to let down with your and play needed to raise your own. I was so much fun playing with advocacy being in the back being able to scream up to her on the four line as well as her screaming back to me like we had such a connection on the field in new just signs because you can't really hear self talking in a real Cup. It's so loud. So you have to just be aware body language, and that's what she brought. Like she just brought so much energy in the energy is contagious. Especially in moments when people are fearful of the unknown of making mistakes obeys right there to secure them. Well leaders don't you stop? Leading once they stopped playing and she has been leading the charge if you will alongside with the women's national team that sued the US soccer federation for equal pay, and the women's national team has generated more money and more success than their male counterparts for team USA. Why do you think there's disparity in pay?.
