"5 bomb show Peter burns and for mister Paul finebaum and by the way, I've got to declare myself the idiot that I am. I earlier had said Freddie roach and Brent key and my wife texted me and she goes you idiot has Doug marrone in the offensive line. So very impressive that my wife would call me out early and now you know I already did a die hard Alabama crimson tide fan. All right, let's talk a little LSU football on the other side. T bob aber joining me right now. Team bob just who's actually got a better outfit today is that your Christmas sweater are my Jacob Hester 1999 prom frosted tips, sure. What do you think? I mean, look, frosted tips is a Trump card that and as much as I love this sweater, I don't even know if I can compete at the frozen dips, but you may see the snowflakes, but check this out. Oh, a little Star Wars the death star, the French run. I got the imperials here, the alliance here, let's ride dude. It's that time of year, bro. The alliance, I didn't even see the Big Ten or the ACC or the PAC 12 logo there. That's impressive, my friend. All right, has anybody else within the last 5 minutes transferred out of vela shoe? We saw the news that max Johnson, late yesterday and some other players, what's happening? It's not great PB, but I do think that this is a byproduct of true regime change, right? And that's where this gets interesting for LSU is that you really have to go back to and Nick Saban arrived in the year 2000 to find true regime change. So here locally, this feels very odd because when you went from saving to miles, you kept a lot of connective tissue because Saban didn't get fired. It wasn't broken. It was rolling right along. He got a promotion. He went to the NFL. When you went from miles to oge Ron, you kept almost everything. You really, in that case, just needed a change at the head. You just needed a CEO change. What Brian Kelly has taken over is something more chaotic, more broken and more in need of sweeping change. It's all I've been talking about it for weeks. This attrition that you're seeing now is not unexpected. And we said it. It's going to hurt. There is still probably more on the way, but you made this move. Knowing this attrition would come in order to be better in the long term. Yeah, see bob, it feels like hey, you know, he bought a house and an unbelievable neighborhood. He looked at it and he's like, well, you know what? The bones of this house are great, but we are revamping everything. We're going to have the knock down some walls and that's what they're doing right now. But the thing that I didn't understand though, max Johnson was a starter. By all accounts, it felt like he had told Brian Kelly, hey, listen, I'm good. I'll be here. And then all of a sudden, something's changed. I don't understand the timing of that before. It offensive coordinator was named unless names have been floated out there in the Johnson family said, nah, that's just not going to be a good fit. I mean, it's potentially that it might not even be that complicated though, right? It could be a situation where sure early on max was like, yeah, I'm in, I'm in, right? And then he starts to think about it more, some new hires get made, maybe like a Tommy moff at least. I mean, let's really take a step back and look at max's two years at LSU. I use the word chaos earlier. And what a tumultuous time. It has been for max Johnson. I mean, I'm talking about constant turnover of coaches. I'm talking about 500 football two years in a row, which is almost unheard of at LSU. I'm talking about negative fan noise, negative media coverage constantly, right? Because nothing angers a fanbase more than where you land in relation to expectations. And 500 football two years following national championship is very far below. So it's been toxic and he's been centered unfairly a lot of times at the center of that toxicity. So I kind of get it, man. Everybody else is hitting the change of pace. Everybody else is getting new scenery. Like, I don't think it's too hard to understand why max wants to leave. Unfortunately, I also don't think that there is any way of spinning this into being a positive at all for LSU. Yeah, I mean, listen, no one's going to want to replace Nick Saban the legend after that. That's going to be tough. No one's going to want to replace Paul fine bump from this chair because of the legend that he's become as well. And it's tough to replace the legend of Joe burrow. And unfortunately, max Johnson had that opportunity. And miles burn into a certain extent and it has struggled a little bit. How about some positive? The hiring of Frank Wilson, I saw Leonard fournette. I saw everybody. Jacob Hester, talking about, hey, they went and got that guy. Clyde Edwards a layer was talking about going, oh, lord, they end up gotten Frank. What does Frank mill Wilson mean to this program and how can that help Brian Kelly? I mean, he means everything, right? A good leader will always look to supplement his weaknesses to shore up his weaknesses. Well, what did everybody say with Brian Kelly was higher? How would the Fitbit? Would he fit in? Does he know Louisiana? You know who fits in? You know who knows Louisiana inside and out? Who has connections that run deeper? I mean, the saint all grad. Frank Wilson. And not only does he know the entire state, but he specifically knows New Orleans, right? In the West Bank. And you have to be able to succeed all over Louisiana, but you especially have to be able to succeed in New Orleans if you want to be the LSU head football coach. And there's reason why a guy like tyron came out and was so glowing in the hiring of Frank. And that's because Frank Wilson is the only reason why Tyra Matthew even ended up at LSU. He had to beg less miles to take this one star cat, tyron Matthews. So not only will he get you the big names, but he can find these diamonds in the rough and most importantly he opened doors that would have been closed to Brian Kelly. Otherwise, and he closes doors that people like Nebraska and hiring Mickey Joseph, especially Florida high range of bar. Like it is a direct refutation of those hires in bringing Frank Wilson and you can already see the New Orleans recruiting team heating up a bit. Yeah, Jarvis Landry Devin white, those guys, and part of the reason why Nick Saban had it so good is that he wasn't letting those guys out. You've seen Dylan Moses and devonta Smith and some of those guys go back in Louisiana and poor guys out. Maybe that's not the case with Frank Wilson over there at the helm with recruiting. All right, let's spend this big picture now. SEC championship, we saw it went down, are you pulling for a Georgia Alabama rematch or something completely.

"A lot of things we need to fix so phony audio. Everyone needs to remember how they feel in terms of loss. Not forget it. Respect winning and learn from the lessons that caused them to lose and not forget it talk about talked about the miscues and missed opportunities to a win the game and still through in there that he can still. They can still accomplish everything that they want to accomplish. Getting getting into the playoffs. He didn't say that but that's what we're thinking he just thought about. Should i say that. Nah i should keep that in my holster and use it when i need to not you know early in the week. Six to use that just yet l. Need to start politicking just yet you know they say the nick sabin uses the media when he wants to get a message out to his team That was the message. I thought was learning the win. Just telling team meant that. This is a process. You gotta learn how to win. I don't give a damn what you did in high school and don't give a damn what numbers you pulled up in highschool. That'll give them. How girls you bang. You were the h. i. c. on campus. I don't give a damn you know how many fire starts head. I don't i don't care. This is a whole new level. I don't give a damn how many folks home girls and homeboys and family members are talking about. You'll just go to alabama for three years and then you'll be a number one draft pick. It's not that easy. Snap that way you know you gotta learn how the win these are steps along with the winds come to losses you have to take these losses and learn from them and get better from them you know he and because of the talent not just talent but the experience that he had the last couple of seasons never needed to do that. Shit you know. Mexico knew what was all about jeanne. Waddell new was wooded was all about henry. Rugs knew what is all the bell at la. Alex leatherwood knew what was all about dylan. "We are heading now to tuscaloosa where we are joined by christian and harris the unbelievable linebacker for the crimson tide. One of the most exciting players to watch this year in college football christian. Thank you for joining us. I know it's a busy time with big game coming up as always for the crimson tide. Good afternoon and how are you. How do you feel about the season. So far i i just want to thank you having me on here So far for them and really excited about this week You know. I feel like you know. We still have a lot to prove team. You know one of these weeks. We definitely have to do that. You coming off of a huge win. But you could say that almost every week with with alabama and you turn around and you had to college station. How does that work this is now tuesday on. I know you're not supposed to look back. How quickly can you as a player and your teammates. Turn the page and start focusing on the next game you know. 'cause always tells us about the twenty four hour rule so You know the moment when that game You enjoy for twenty four hours and then you get ready for the next opponent in As we do each week by week so Through the just say that's all we do. Well hopefully he's not watching. Because i do want to go back a little bit Christian big in tuscaloosa. Over the weekend i talked to a number of people connected that program and they felt really confident about the ole game And someone told me that in trying to explain the florida game That the crowd was was was a new thing for a lot of young players. It was so loud. It was so deafening. Of course cova last year. Took care of all that. Could you go back and and was that was the crowd your first hostile environment really big deal in getting through that game versus florida. I mean it was definitely Crowd definitely had an impact on the game. It's definitely a tough place. Where a lot of people to play and of course. There's no that you know before going into that game Like i said we got there and you know yeah we have a lot of young guys and you know as a as older guy We try to help those guys. Prepare for those moments. You know we see where we were at that time. And we know how to improve christian in terms of this defense I mean it was built and you were certainly at the front of the conversation. As as one of the elite defenses in the country and that game things didn't go particularly well Throughout the second half but but against ole miss it was a it was a stellar performance. I mean that was a forty two seven game. It took all missile longtime to score one of the best offenses and one of the best quarterbacks in college football what was the difference from week to week You know. I think we really make emphasis on china finish. Play four sixty minute game no matter who we're playing and You know some that you know we've been really trying to fix and work on the defense Each game florida. I mean you see forty game. We came out second quarter and we didn't come. Marta strong in the second. Half of you there and you know you allow teams to get back in the game. That way like i said coast continues to emphasize that for us. And that's just coming into focus. I know the score does not indicate The dominance was he Frustrated after the game because alabama gave up to two late touchdowns i mean. He's always gonna say anytime we you know. Give up any points in the second half especially in fourth quarter united alabama program really strive on finishing in fourth quarter and You know that's just something we didn't do and we have to. you know. Continue to fix chris. I'm curious because as a lay person It just seems like the games over. And i know just in my own mind is hard. It would be hard to kim. Continue that same intensity but you're on the field and you know what you have to do do you. Let the score board affect you in any way When you're when you're way ahead you're thirty five points ahead Are are you still playing it at the at the at the same level At that moment as you were entering the second half does what we really strive one to to try to keep this intensity we did when we came out on the first job though the whole game To keep that. Like i said throughout sixty minutes. I mean you know they always have is really starting practice when You know you start off practice. You know feeling good. And he gets towards the end when good on good periods real you know trying to finish and which turns out there on game day and like i said it's been struggling with and we'll continue to try to fix and your coaches really harping on each week. So we'll definitely get their chris harris. Chris i wanna go back a little bit because a lot of people close to you. Know your your backstory. You grew up in in baton rouge You were friends with Dylan moses and a couple of other players And then you surprise a lot of people you it looked like you were heading outta baton rouge which isn't easy to do to go to college station. And then you flip it over to alabama. What was that like leaving leaving a place where football is really on the same level as it is in tuscaloosa You know just really sitting there talking to my family discussing what we think is best for my future I mean that's really already came down to for like here at the university alabama. They had the best opportunity for me. to excel as a man on and off the field. And you know. I couldn't pass up the opportunity. I know whenever you do something like that. It it upsets people especially probably for friends of yours you grew up with. You're still a young person and that would be hard for anybody to deal with. How did you deal with those friends of yours. Who were lsu fans getting upset that you made a personal choice. I mean you know couldn't really get too upset about it or let it affect me that much. Because like i said i knew i was doing what was best for me and my future You know you can't let you know others play a factor in that. But like i said just came in we want. My seddon kept them. I said this this tired time. So i just never really focus on it. Did you grow up in lsu fan. I mean i think everybody. Growing up in ben. Route's you know loves to watch football. It's their first For me it was my first watch college football. So i enjoyed them. When i was little. Well you see talking about enjoying it. A la folks are enjoying watching you players patacula player and i know this is a big week Heading to college station. We appreciate your making time for us. You know you'd be well and have a great rest of the season you so much. Thank you very much christian harris joining us from tuscaloosa. Truly.

"Hour of the show and not the end quite yet. But we're glad you're here. It's been a very busy afternoon with all the alliance move. We've also continued our series back to school talking to reporters from various college newspapers in the southeastern conference We've had a lot of fun doing that. And ashley wood's joins us. She is a sports editor of the crimson and white in tuscaloosa. My that is a coveted position. I can imagine actually thanks so much For for joining us. Congratulations on your your essential to that row. And and how are you like to be back on campus. I'm doing great. Thank you for having me today. Paul it great to be back on. Campus i was online for the past year. And a half and it just great to be back in school so i'm just trying to imagine getting back to campus and i know there's there's so much to do but i mean it was it was it just the normalcy of it seeing friends just returning to college life. What what what was the most important thing i guess. Just returning to normalcy of It was very weird being at home. intel schools do schools and alba being at home for a brief period time taking classes and just being disconnected from kansas. And also just all the stuff that was going on during twenty twenty at the time. It's just very very good to be back on campus. I think all of us would dream as young journalists to be The campus sports editor but to be the credit camp sports editor in tuscaloosa. At this moment in time. What is that like such a great opportunity. You know before i decided to make my journey into journalism political science major about always had a soft spot for sports particularly football and growing up. My dad is a hardcore alabama. San so alabama was always on the house on saturdays whenever we can watch it It's just very great to be a part of such a such a program here at the university of alabama being able to cover football basketball. I'm just so privileged to be here. Not that i know anything but I strongly encourage that political science background. It will help you as taken from someone who went down that road. Let's talk about this year this this football season. Because you know. Alabama is always the epicenter of conversation but what What are your observations already. As we are now just a week and a half away from the first game in atlanta. Yes um of course alabama diversity in the after the epicenter of the conversation a week out. I mean it's just a very great album looks to be a good physician to repeat this year. I mean even though they lost some key players. Like dylan moses devante smith patrick's or tan the third to the second to the nfl. I believe players like Don mechi third Will anderson. junior can really step up and lead this tie this crimson tide team to another national championship appearance and possibly another national title ashley. It's it's i'm i'm stumbling for words to ask your dislike to be on that campus in and maybe it maybe it's normal to us. It's all you've experienced but to be on that campus. In the era of nick sabin especially at this point in time. It's it's a great experience. you know. I am actually not from the tuscaloosa area. I am from delaware But my dad has always been a alabama fans kinda why i've always watched it from afar and just being on campus coming from such a small state like that word coming to tuscaloosa alabama and just seeing how big is in person. I don't i think. Tv doesn't do any justice being here in person on game days whether it was last year you know the smaller type of field or in regular pussy at times where it's like hundreds of thousands of people tailgating hundreds of people hundreds of thousands of people going into the games. It's just a truly at all expiring experience to be here especially her really hardcore football fan. I think you answer the question. In part the my curiosity has got the better. So you're in delaware. Your dad you said is an alabama fan was was he the connection or was there some other reason other than Some of the most obvious reasons that you went to alabama that was part of the connection. I do have family. That grew up in school then moved to delaware before i was born But definitely that connection with Him being such an alabama fan and always just kinda observing from afar and watching it. I i grew up. I wasn't too in to college football. And as i older i got more into it because it was just something that me and my dad could bond over. Yeah i don't know a lot about delaware Spending the news a lot in the last year but I wouldn't think that's a real hotbed of college. Football up there no. Nfl definitely takes precedence over college. Football although you d- does the university where does bring in some things. Come watch football games ashley. Judd in terms of alabama. This year. and you help us with this. Because it seems like the alabama fans that we hear from which aren't necessarily the students that you encounter every single day or just they just don't think this program is ever going to lose a game. I know that's not realistic. But is it like that among the students as well that we can be like that around the students. I mean like it's very much embedded in the culture. Alabama is the team could be in quite frankly. It's very hard to be alabama so definitely it can run into the spirits of students here. I do remember in two thousand nineteen versus lsu. I don't think a lot of people really expected us to lose to lsu especially a lot of students so the morale within the students was very dejected..

"He struggled, and he continued to struggle ever since. I don't want to see that same future for Justin Fields because I like him so much as a player, and as a person I root for his success. I was hopeful that maybe the Patriots would move up to grab him. But clearly they were all in on Mack Jones. They love the accuracy the decision making how he's ready now, and so that was a great fit for them to sit and wait and Mack Jones fell right into their lap. The butterfly effect. Peter Burns, Katie George of Trey Land's going three and seeing where Justin Fields went was so interesting to me, because, like you said, Mack Jones falls, too. It couldn't be much of a better spot, right goes from a situation to where he's been coached by Nick Saban goes into the coaching tree of Bill Belichick straight to the Patriots, and they're hoping that he becomes that next Tom Brady guy even with the dad bod and everything of traffics, but, um, that was an interesting quarterback room. That is now too, right. You got Cam Newton, Auburn quarterback Jared Stadium, Auburn quarterback Mack Jones, Alabama quarterback the Iron Bowl quarterback rooms, but they're trying to find their next guy, and I think the reason why we saw so many quarterbacks drafted is that you realize now with the cap space once once the Seahawks did what they did with Russell Wilson, which was nail on a draft pick, and they were able to have him on a cheap rookie deal. And now it's up to five years the way it's structured. You can spend money elsewhere. You can spend money on upgrading an offensive line. You could spend money on. Ah, great defense like the Seahawks did, which led to that run, and I felt like that's why you're seeing more and more quarterbacks being selected. More so than ever, and you go look at the trends, right? Already six wide receivers, the most ever in the draft, selected 59 defensive backs. I mean, at some point, the Jets drafted three defensive backs in the fifth round alone, okay? Cowboys their first six picks, or, um, defense. I I felt like this was somewhat of a common sense draft on so many different levels. I am shocked, though, that I guess I should say I'm not shocked that the opt outs never really played a role. I never really believed that they were going to play a role. Katie about You know, all this player opted out, but you could see two sides of the pendulum. Jamie Newman. Okay, wait. Force quarterback transfers over to Georgia. He opted out. People thought he might win the Heisman at Georgia last year goes undrafted. Okay, so there is one of the situation that rubbed a lot of people the wrong way. Like that was a head scratching move. He could've stayed it. Wake and had another phenomenal year. Put up great numbers like he did this season before. He could have been maybe a 2nd 3rd rounder like a Kyle trash someone like that if he had a great performance again, But then he makes his head scratching. Move goes to Georgia. Thinks he's the writing on the wall that he might not be the starter. It's not a sure thing and decides to opt out, and I think it came back to bite him in the butt stage. Two rats, another Wake Forest team who played our teammate who played with Jamie Newman. He was a sophomore. Put up video game like numbers. Great. Huge talent at Wake decides to opt out because he had a shoulder injury the year before. I think that hurt him. He goes undrafted. His older brother, Chazz, who played in North Carolina gets drafted somewhere in between. Maybe the third or fourth round as a linebacker, but to your point Those are the on Lee opt outs that come to mind that I think, uh, it didn't work out for them like they believed it to be. Where is everyone else who opted out and decided not to play, I think still We're great picks and teams clearly didn't think much of it. Jim, our taste right. Jamaar Chase at L. A chute didn't play all season and they're going to the Bengals. I will say this, though Dylan Moses, star linebacker for Alabama, had he opted out. This is the other side of the coin. Had he opted out and not played last year. Probably would've been the 2nd 3rd round pick. Ends up having a little bit of knee issues and sure enough ends up going undrafted, which was kind of chaotic at that point to Caleb Farley was in a corner back from Virginia Tech. He acted out. He went 22nd to the Titans like that was somebody that we wondered always his draft stock gonna fall. Clearly not Um all right. Are you ready? We haven't done this in a couple of weeks Sunday morning therapy. I said, and I assume that everyone's happy with their draft. But clearly America. That's not the case. 888 say, ESPN rd. A couple of calls on hold will get more of your calls there. That's 888 say ESPN. Did you hate your team's draft? Tell me why 888729 37 76. We'll take those calls Next. Peter Burns. "I just think you know, especially if they miss out or take somebody else at 10, I think that would be a great fit in a cover-3 scheme. I mean big he's athletic he is not his brother OB he understands that his brother had flaws I've talked to him was that he was probably over drafted because of his athletic profile and he knows that he was kind of soft and he is he very much doesn't he didn't say Thursday? But that's what like he intimated that a little bit and so I think that he really tries to be go that extra mile to be physical as a corner. Especially it comes to you know, defending the run and going up and attacking screens and then man like the draft really sets up pretty good for them to you know, maybe get a linebacker or a defensive tackle with that third round pick linebacker and d-tackle in this draft class. That's kind of where the strength is. There's not a bunch of high-end Talent at D tackle, you know, the one technique but there's a bunch of guys in that kind of range that I think would be good value there. It also linebacker depending on which guys fall Dylan Moses is probably going to be round and round 3 months bill Cox might be probably not especially after he test but he might be he's really really good in coverage and then there's just so many guys that you think one of them is probably going to be there at 75 wage. And then in the fourth round if they want to get a developmental free safety, you know, I don't I don't think they'll have a chance to get Trayvon more rig or Richie Grant with their second round pick. So I'm getting in developmental guy. Maybe it came Stearns who I'm showing your yeah aware of, you know covering the Big Twelve. He's somebody who I really like the upside of God, you know, maybe ardarius Washington and if the team is comfortable with his height, I really like the player and you know, there's there's other guys as well Divine Diablo timer last be from Missouri, you know, and then after that, you know, there's guys that I like at the one technique defensive tackle Cyrus Tonga from BYU on Dale Mabry somebody like to Darrell Slayton on day three from Florida 6 with four three hundred thirty pounds. He's got absolute levers as arms and he uses them really. Well. He's just he's dead. A great athlete and there's one techniques, you know, that's really where you can find Value in the draft on day three those guys cuz the NFL doesn't value. Who do you thinks the best defensive player in this draft man? That's a tough question. The highest grade that I have is a tie between J. Okay, Jeremih woosah, Carmella the linebacker safety hybrid and Micah Parsons dead. Those are the two highest grades that I have. Given their positional value. Those are not the guys that I would draft first. I would draft I actually have the highest film grade on Caleb Farley, but with the back injury and there's just no way that you can feel comfortable taking him that high and so he would kind of be my guy but I would take the two corners JC horn and Patrick Stewart an over the linebackers because of positional value package. Then I really really like. Jaelan Phillips the Miami Edge rusher as well, but he also has injury concerns. And so that pushes him down the board a little bit as well. He's the name that might be there at 44th because of all the the health issues and I mean, he would be a perfect type of blue star special for Jerry Parsons is so interesting because he seems to be such a polarizing Prospect so much talent..

Jerry Parsons Micah Parsons Caleb Farley Patrick Stewart Dylan Moses Richie Grant Darrell Slayton Jaelan Phillips Cyrus Tonga Carmella Trayvon fourth round JC Dale Mabry second round Missouri Jeremih woosah 44th 10 ardarius Washington

"If not in the top five probably in the top ten picks. I don't see how it gets past Dallas at 10, you know, I think that that sort of the floor for him at that point, but I'm in Philadelphia if they stay at 6 with that big might actually scoop him up at that point because they need a corner as well. You mentioned a team that needs a corner too so I can see a lot of teams in a very interested in Patrick certain after today a couple of other names Cristian barmore certainly checked all the measurables boxes. I think he measured in at like 6 for 3:20 or something like that. He's a big dude that can move obviously and not my type of player for the Patriots in the first round, but I think looking at their moves on the defensive line Henry Anderson, nice player Devon got shot nice player, but I don't necessarily have that difference-maker up front that guy that's going to demand double teams or really be able to create in the pass rush. So maybe God like Christian barimore starts to creep into the conversation if they do and sticking at 15 month. Don't end up taking a quarterback or they trade back in the first round because the quarterbacks are gone or something like that. Yeah, no, I I agree with that. I think that you know, this was a Legendary Legendary Alabama team. This was up there with the best teams. Nick Saban's coach not just from their their talent in college, but in terms of probe a potential so I would be shocked and maybe it doesn't come in till later on but I would be shocked if we don't see a player from that Alabama team end up on the Patriots. Not as it doesn't have to be in around 1, but I think we see at least one this year off and it's been a couple of years in a row now, I believe. Yeah after after something like ten in the last like ten years or something like you may lead NFL in the amount of guys drafted from Alabama since 2018. I think that's the status of the other guys. Let a Dickerson didn't even work out but everybody's buzzing about him just because he seems to be a great guy to have around very funny. They've got no centers now so they got David Andrews on a fourth. I think we can maybe cross that one off deal with Dylan Moses an interesting one. I don't think he does in the first round cuz the injury concerns but he's he's a great fit for like he's a great day to pick fits the scheme very athletic. Player, there's just a huge shift when it comes to his health. But if you hit on that pick, you're going to get a great linebacker and that's kind of what you want to do in day too. So I look at Dylan Moses as a potential potential Patriot. That means somebody that there's one or two of those guys in the draft in the front seven where the last year was Gerald Lewis from Alabama who just kind of struggled with injuries struggled to stay on the field Moses played more games than Trail Lewisburg in in college, but there's always a couple of those guys that you're kind.

You only get 10 guesses at the password and then Bitcoin just, you know. Gets rid of it and completely locks you out forever. So he's used eight of those guesses, and he's down to two. I guess there's not an 800 Bitcoin customer service number he can call. Hmm. And another Bitcoin story. You're back in 2013, A guy in England named James howls throughout an old hard drive. "Alabama? Apparently not a fan base in looking your face. Hey, was he was a bit of pretty pretty good job in the blind side. But the AFLAC commercials he could use a lesson or two. There is one flaw in his acting skills are not need anywhere near okay what he uses a coach. Okay, This is what is a critic, but the duck was better than he is in the athlete Commercial. We'll use the duck is the star. We all know you know that it's safe, and it's just a cold start when it comes to that, But he's getting star money. I'm sure from AFLAC when it's all said and done when it comes to Nick Saban. That's the most important thing about being championship worthy. And speaking of championship worthy Too early odds out for next year when it comes to Alabama. The prohibitive favorites win a national championship last year. Plus 300 comes in second, plus 400 or House data. Plus 7 50, Oklahoma at plus 7 50. Georgia Plus 1200, Notre Dame plus 1500 texts and and plus 1800. I would stay plus 2200, Florida 12 25 100 sexy supposed 2500. Either way. Ah, lot of the same old same old with the teams we meant, especially the top three with Alabama Crimson, Ohio State being the prohibitive favorites to be in the spotlight again playing for a national championship shooting. Freddy got the top six, You know, and for people don't know what Freddie means By the Plus 300. If you bet $100 Alabama right now to win the national championship next year. You get 300 back and so on so forth. Yeah, This is the way too early. We do it every year, Right Looking ahead, and everyone does every Web sites already looking ahead to 2021 the way too early preseason kind of look, but You have to go ahead. And even with all the departures, they're gonna happen with Devante Smith and nausea hairs. And if Mack Jones decides to go to the NFL, he's a junior Christian bar. Maura's redshirt sophomore going down the list right of guys that Maybe the party. It doesn't matter. Remember that talk about well, too was gone. I mean, who's this Mack Jones guy? He was just the old Mississippi player of the year. You think savings, offering a full boat to some quarterback who can't Chuck it 10 yards. Yeah, What's so? The next wave is going to be just another wave like we've seen time and time again, you know, from marking room to Derrick Henry to both Scarborough to let me go now to Damian Harris tonight, you hear? CJ Mosley Rashaan Evans to Dylan Moses. Me keeps going. Yes, it's the same thing so going But Bam in that college football playoff, just pencil them and year in year out as long as ST Nick is there the team But I do believe Are we too early? 2021 Look ahead, Freddy that will finally get to the college football playoff national championship. Okay, if Lincoln Riley is still in Oklahoma because Word is that some NFL teams are coming and sniffing around in Norman again, and I don't blame them. I'd be more than sniff and I'd be bringing a Brinks truck with me. Absolutely. Especially with the Eagles. You wanna fix Carson Wentz? Have a quarterback was for like that. It. Lincoln Riley is there. I think Oklahoma gets to the national championship game. I've seen them in person against Florida. Ah, lot of that talent is coming back, Led by Spencer Rattler. Quarterback who? My gosh! After the first three weeks the season who he belongs someday he's the next great Oklahoma quarterback under Lincoln, Riley. Watch out for the Sooners next year. I think they're coming in hell Bent, Freddie. He's in Fitzsimmons on Freddie Coleman and Freddie and Fitz Simmons on ESPN radio. The ESPN happens. It's on channel 80. So, yeah. You know, we're gonna be excited. Because we're council..

"Listen to them tomorrow morning. A recap of this very exciting game for Nagy heresy receiving touchdown. After his rushing touchdown earlier this game, 29 total TVs this season that is the SEC record all by himself. He was tied with great Alabama running back Derrick Henry. 28 all rushing by the way 2015 when he won the Heisman Trophy. Alabama, the only team in the history of college football with a 20 touchdown scorer rushing and receiving in the same season for Smith 20. Plus now receiving touchdowns. It's remarkable how many different ways this Alabama offense can Puts you in conflict a point they run the football the way they throw into their running backs out of the backfield. Then, of course, the Heisman Trophy winner. Basically, nobody could cover him, at least not with the way he's running around tonight. Harris did not have a receiving touchdown in the regular season, and he had three nd SEC title game there. Six point win against Florida now has five for the year end over end kick off. I will record from right to left this over the head of tomorrow in the car, and it's another touch back. Here comes Ohio State and the pressure on them, Greg to pretty much match the scores because it doesn't look like they're going to stop Alabama very often tonight. Not just that, but also now Take a little bit of pressure off their defense. Alabama now has 30 snaps offensively, They're three drives not including the fumble. Dr obviously, but they have been remarkably productive. With the exception of that one blemish the fumble by Mack Jones. So to give their defense a little rest, the Buckeyes need to put one together. And you put the ball right in the middle of the field at 25 1st down out of the gun, Justin Field, hands it off. Straight ahead. And master team stopped up after a short game look like they'll give him forward progress to the 28. Dylan Moses, inside linebacker back from a knee injury cost him all of last year. And Christian bar more made the tackle box line up quickly. 2nd 78 38 to go first half 21 14, Alabama leading Teague running back on the left hip. Both fields goes out of the gun. Five man rushed Now He pulls it down runs to the left has a first down and much more across the 40 50, and now he runs out of bounds. Far sideline is Josh job was about to tackle him, and clearly, Justin Fields doesn't want to take any more hits. On those ribs. But that's a big run for 28 yards in the first down for Ohio State, any line up quickly again from the band of 44 hand off out of the team takes a couple of tackles, running down the first sideline inside of 20 and shoved out by Jordan battle at the hard to tell from work all the way at the other end of the field looks like the five yard line. But another big run 29 yards from master team. Noah's well short of the five yard line about 100 yards away in the opposite ends only market at the 15 yard line. Just a really good job in the last two snaps on the offensive line of Ohio State, Justin Field, seeing man covers, taking himself a great job on the left side of the old line. First in 10 out of a gun again and hand off the team running off right guard. Alabama's down for three our game in the middle of the field. Alabama's offensive line one. Joe More Ward is the best in the country, but Ohio State's is terrific as well. Josh Meyers first team All Big 10 Center, one of three finalists for the Winning team trophy. Ryan Davison. All American, right guard, left, tackle. Fair Munford. First team All Conference second and seven. Alabama crowding the line is finished two receivers to each side on now. Team moves from left to the right. Yep, both fields out of the gun. We're doing a Titan rocket in motion from the left him off the team, and he dropped the lost time Rumble. Laughter never got close to the corner Buried behind the line of spinach by Chris Allen. Huge play there by Chris Allen to knowing that Ohio State's field goal situation with true freshman is very much up in the air, so a huge negative play. They're coming off. The left edge by Alan dropped Teague on the sweet far side pressure from film Mathis as well to help pull that up. So it's third down and 11 there on the 16 yard line on the left, has received a bunch right lobby, singled up to the left one on one on Josh George, short side of the field play clock running. Down. Well, it's gonna be a time of used by Ryan Day Time out called by Ohio State 6 17 to go in the first half Alabama leading 21 to 14 and a third down 11 coming up for Justin Fields. In Ohio State. Back to the studio is Mark Caster Sugar. All right, Sean. Thanks a lot. Trevor Managed with me in studio Is Ohio State looks to score and even this game, but one of the big story lines of.

"Into his hands before the linebackers are able to show up tonight's job of converting their on third down, Bob Counting down 9.5 minutes to go here in the third quarter on the shotgun again, his book first out in 10, Notre Dame from their own 21 yard line. A gap pressures picked up book drops back to pass, trying to extend the play. Now he tucks and runs and dives ahead. A 24 yard line didn't have many options with Tide linebacker Dylan Moses tracking him a three yard run free in book. It's just basically a tube to wide receiver route with a check down and nobody was open and I mean, absolutely no one. So it's an easy formation and play in which Alabama can defend. They do it easily. Forces he and book to keep the football but he's able to pick up a couple of yards to keep them on schedule second and seven Notre Dame from their own 24 yard line, trailing the number one team in the country by 14 points here in the Rose Bowl, third quarter action Look to pass he comes to the website was big tight, and the freshman Michel Mayor and mayor is gonna have a first down from Notre Dame as he has a 10 yard reception. He is one of the breakout young players in all of college football. First down Irish 35 receptions coming into the game, and you hear you hear me Keep talking about on schedule. Because Notre Dame their goal, every possession is to get to third down in short to medium to five yards a little bit easier to call plays and convert against this outstanding Alabama defense left cash for the Irish from their own 34 yard line, short pitch to the right side to tie reef. "7 40 until halftime, It's third and four Notre Dame on their own 31 trailing 21 7 book from the shotgun throws underneath, complete across the 35 to the 40 yard line. George Tackiest, the tight end moving right to left on the crossing pattern. Catch and run 10 Yard game. First down Irish Excellent decision By Ian Book He saw the defense was blitzing, stood in the pocket and delivered a throat attack US who could have even cut some more yards and he cut back upfield. Attack. It was so excited for that reception of first down an excellent job hanging on the football jackets, only his third catch of the season. Notre Dame all of a sudden, very good on third down, they converted their last Converted three out of four of the last drive on now just converted them first down in San from the 41 book to throw again behind the line of scrimmage, swings it out to Williams across the 40 omen your sideline and went out of bounds. Middle linebacker Dylan Moses caught up with him gain of one, and they continue to find ways to get 23 the ball and that's what you have to do in big games. Get your big playmakers. The football and Karen Williams now has already caught a pitch and two passes to the flat, which means that those safeties are they can't help their human nature. They want to play down to try and make a play, opening up a lot of things for Notre Dame offensive or how good of these Alabama linebackers unbelievable A cell crow when they tackle sideline to sideline. Second down nine book from Under center hands off to the right side of William's across the 40 and tackled on the near numbers at the 43 Yard line. Defensive end Christian bar more First team, all SEC, another Crimson Tide player. You could say that about gain of only one much more difficult. Third down, coming up here right third down and ate the Irish 6 15 left until halftime. They're on their own 43 yard line, and the Alabama defense is stunting now to try and stop the Russian attack for Notre Dame. That one right there, cause Tommy Kramer get tripped up and forcing the biggest third down of the game on the near hash here, moving left to right bookies in the shotgun, three wide receivers to his left. Now Avery Davis motions from left to right back to the left side takes the snap drops back. They rush four. They hit him as he releases the ball incompletes over the middle to Avery.

No. In fact, I'm not sure if I'm allowed to say this, but I'm going to because we're on national radio. I actually have a Heisman vote and I was really tourney. I was struggling because if you look at statistics, you look it. Alabama's offense. It's really hard to separate who was the best player on this team? Whether it was Mac Jones with the 77% completion rate or nausea, Harris, who's been a monster and just came off that s E C championship game, So I called people of Alabama and called coaches. I called people around the building. And I said, Who would you vote for? And I'm not going to tell you everything they said. But let me just say Devante Smith. They told me he is the Alfa of this program. He runs this team along with the center, and they are just so good in the building. He's the guy that brings the juice. He's the guy that brings the positive energy. And he's literally about 10 steps away from me right now warming up on the field and you know they call him the Slim Reaper. This kid is big and strong. He may be thin in the lower body, but I'm just watching him warm up and he's doing He's one leg. It hops where he takes a step and then hops high up into the air off of one leg. He is a special kid off the field and on the field Well, he's got bouncing middle linebacker Dylan Moses brings the wood He's got the burden of calling the plays and being the bell cow in the middle of that Bama defense, But he also carries an added burden of wearing the number 32. What does that number mean to him? The number 32 is kind of a new legacy that has gotten passed down through Alabama started with CJ Mosley, who you guys remember famously was one of the best leaders, captains and really great contributors on this Alabama team will shine. Evans came in. He wanted to wear it, but he had to get CJ Mosley permission and C J said, You have to represent the position. You have to be everything to wear that number and Rashawn Woz.
