"So none of these Hume's losing money. There is revenue sharing in the sport. And nobody spending they've Noah spending it, but you know, and I think that part of it is kind of you know, the parties are looking at. This and thinking, okay, you know, is one thing to have to pay Machado four hundred million. But if they're looking at it now and thinking, well, if we can let's say we can get this guy for one seventy five or two hundred do it. Yeah. Like, maybe we can contend now. Right. Maybe we can sneak up on some of these surprise people. And my guess is they're kind of looking at everything they're looking at where the other teams in the division stand there. Looking at the dodgers will okay? What will the dodgers looked like in a few years? Right. And do we think we can beat the dodgers? I mean because if you can then that might be worth that investment the business of baseball this season. Very very interesting. Phil Hernandez endeared himself to a lot of dodger fans. I'm pretty sure you're the man of the people this week with fans after you and Stan Kasten were sparring now real quick before. I let you go. Lebron James Anthony Davis should have. Yes. Give them everything. Give them whatever they want. Now. Anthony Davis came out and said that he's not gonna sign extension with the pelicans. And he wants to be traded, of course, immediately. Every Laker fan is jumping for joy saying we will give them a zoo box for Anthony Davis and. We would you trade the house right now. I think you have to you know, and I don't think you should look at it. This is them trading. The future for the now because Anthony Davis kind of their future to he is a superstar that you can build around as and his LeBron gets older and theoretically declines ineffectiveness, you have your next guy in place ready. I mean from the Laker standpoint, I think it's kind of like, a must get it's almost there quickest way, I think to a championship, you know, and maybe not for this year, necessarily, but in future seasons. You got those two building blocks you just have to put a supporting cast around them, and they'll be competitive right away. Dylan Hernandez columnist for the LA times. "And so if you say, you know, like in most sports where you have like a salary capital say is okay. The players get fifty percent of revenue or whatever. Whatever. However, it is to cut up the pie. Baseball doesn't have anything that strict. So I think that what happens now is now does the system hasn't changed for the most part. And now when they hit free agency. I think what the players are thinking is like look the revenues have gone up that much more. So you should be paid that much money. And that's why you know couple years ago we were hearing about the possibility of a four hundred million dollar contract for Machado or a Harper. And I think that now though, right when the teams kind of look at this they're thinking while four hundred a lot of money, and it's so much more say than Cory Seager, rookie main half a million dollars, even this. Here's an arbitration guy. He's going to make. Four million. And now of a sudden you're gonna you're talking about paying one guy forty million a year. So you can kind of see why teams are kind of naturally reluctant to go. There realistically. I mean, they're going to have to kind rip up the collective bargaining agreement and probably find a way to pay the younger players more. I get that side of it at the same time. I kind of think again, like the players are the ones that are kind of making this money. This is the way the deals kind of set up, and if you kind of look at it again by how much revenue these guys generator stuff. I mean, realistically the Harper Machado are kinda worth that much the money. Is there the revenues? They're the teams will argue the system's flawed that doesn't mean that we should be making bad decisions and just like purposely overpaying people either. Yeah. I mean realistically to the result in a strike after the twenty twenty one season. So yeah, we we have that to look forward to. But I mean, it's I think to me is this really kind of disappointing. When you when you look at it from baseball Sandpoint that right? I mean think about NBA free agency. It's a party. Yeah. And free agency is used to promote the sport. It's used to get people excited and baseball. Free agency. These teams are telling their fans. Okay. Yeah. This guy might be a top five player in the league. But actually, if we get him our franchise is gonna be worse off. I mean, what we'll kind of wait is that to sell your product. So by sign Bryce Harper. We're going to be bad. Incorrect, you know. And so like in eventually when Harper does sign it if he does get a big contract. I'm sure there's going to be a writer locally who says like, well, it was really a smart thing to do. What is going on with your sport? Dylan I'm done with it. My sport. I cover cover the Baseball Writers Association. That's true. They won't have me. Well, you know, these teams have revenue sharing and actually like I mean when you talk about the Phillies, the reason they're considered like a contender for Harper and even like an attractive destinations because all these years there were tanking. They accumulated a lot of good draft picks. Their farm system is pretty flush with young talent. Those guys are coming up. Now. Now, add the superstar to and now there's going to be a really good core around him sounds like the dodgers ran yet reminds me a little bit kind of like the whether dodgers were kind of in the late two thousands. When you had the Russell Martin and Audrey Ethier, and Matt and those guys coming up, and then you added like Emmanuel mirrors to that team. And all of a sudden, okay now, you have something because you have this. You went out and got the superstar in now you have the supporting cast around it. So I think that that's the general blueprint that those teams are trying to follow..

"He gives you a short answer you can fire back. He fires back. And then you start going back and forth. I do think that the way the access and everything's kind of controlled and sterilize the NFL. It does make it a little bit more difficult to get those kind of interactions. What land looked like like, billboards and posters everywhere. All over the city L. Yeah. You know, like the train's got a rap or a paint or whatever right with a big Super Bowl logo. Yeah. You see stuff out in the distance? It feels like the Super Bowl. They're. Yeah. Absolutely. Absolutely. It's a big deal here, you know, and look around LA that was kind of the weird thing, right? Is that I know they had a great off at that rally. But you know, you kinda look around town. You don't see like a ton of ram stuff. Right. You know? Know, it's not like everybody's out wearing their Rams jersey. And it's not like you're seeing you know, banners stuff all over town. I mean, I think that if you just kinda drop into Los Angeles from another country at this point and didn't know what was going on in the NFL season. Like, you probably wouldn't guess that the local team was going to the Super Bowl. But it feels like the super bowl's in Atlanta. Yes. Absolutely. You could tell. Yeah. Yeah. This is football country. You bring up a good point though about the LA market, which is interesting because in a couple years once that stadium is built in Inglewood, the Super Bowl will be in Los Angeles. It's getting built four. I mean, if the Rams the chargers play there, but it's to show off the city of LA. I'm curious how that will play out. Yeah. Well, my concern is a nice still have to see how this week plays out because the rampages practicing in really two different parts of town. And this is a city that's supposed to have really bad traffic and say LA one team is practicing kind of over like in Inglewood area. And maybe the other team is in Pasadena like at the Rose Bowl, and you have to kind of get from one place to the other. I mean, could you imagine how that's going to be like, you know, so. I do have some kind of questions as far as the practicality of it like houses whole thing. Go to work, you know, you can put a media shuttle and let it get in the diamond lane, whatever in Los Angeles. But I kind of have a feeling that it's going to be kind of hard to get from point a to be. So I think the people that that are planning this have have a pretty tall task in front of them. When you check in get your credential. Did they give you a gift? I got nothing. No. I just got asked. If I was from another country shut up. No, I'm serious. The guy has I come in. And they ask me like, you know, are you form Prosser something which I thought was kind of weird. Yeah. I mean. I don't wanna get into. Yeah. I I wanted to I wanted to see how close you're gonna get to that. No, no. Said domestic your domestic Dylan Hernandez us you need Twitter name as you are at the Super Bowl getting all kinds of coverage. And I need you to poke the bear little bit. I need you to go to Bella check in. Hey, Tom Brady. Is that the question? All right. Now, somebody who you reporting and prodding and trying to get answers out. And he didn't give you anything Stang cast him. Yeah. You and he had a little interaction over the weekend. And you're calling the LA times seem like he didn't wanna talk to you. What was what happened will the irony of this is actually he wanted to talk to me what? Yeah. Andy Reid like that in your call them. Yeah. I mean, I guess I maybe should've I don't know like us cast in, you know, for the last however, many years has been very now. He's a chairman of the dodgers. Correct. Correct. Yeah. Or the he's a president of the president. And he's been pretty reluctant to talk to our paper about a number of issues right starting with the TV thing on the record. You know? So obviously the lack of spending this off season with the dodgers has been kind of an issue. It's been a concern of the fans and like I didn't even bother to ask for cast..

"Not dillon. Also alty mad about every. No, no, no, no, no, no Dylan is good. I talked to him before we started the podcast. Dylan is any zen place. Dylan is excited to be in Atlanta. And even though the festivities haven't really kicked off. They really haven't gotten going Dylan is happy to be there. Right. Dylan due to sue cold here, man. It's like, really cold. And they they're saying it's going to snow tomorrow or something. I don't like that. I don't know. I got my like Winter Olympics clothes on right now. Okay. One more time Dylan you happy to be there. Right. Of course. I'm happy. But I am happy to be here. I mean have you ever covered Super Bowl before? I never have. Okay. So this could be like, yes. So this is you know, I mean, the people that have been here before kind of warning me about what a grind this week is going to be and how circus it's going to be and just kind of the way their demeanor. Maybe diminish my enthusiasm a little bit. You know, usually. I know it's the opposite. Right. I diminish others people's enthusiasm. But right now, the veterans are kind of sapping anatomy a little bit. Now, we joke with you about your being salty a lot of tongue in cheek. But you just said you're going to the Super Bowl the first time working as a member of the media covering the SuperBowl. Have you ever been to one of the fan? Never know this all brand new for you. That's good. Yeah. It is you know, and it's kinda cool because I mean, we were hearing this work room. And granted, you know, obviously say before I was a columnist does a baseball guy. So the baseball writing circles, more my circle. So I don't know like a ton of people. Here. But you know, one thing it was pretty cool. I ran into a reporter from Mexico who I've known from covering boxing, and he's also been around like the dodgers bit. So you kind of you know, in in just kind of walking through this pressroom, I've heard a few different languages. So that's kind of cool. You kind of see that. This is this is a legitimate big event. I think I read somewhere that more than five thousand people are going to be credentialed for this Super Bowl so win. Yeah. That many people you have millions of dollars everywhere security's gotta be crazy. Right. Oh, yeah. Atlanta's like a police state right now, you know, was I went over to the Rams hotel last night to go chat with somebody. And I was kind of outside someone smoking cigars and stuff and the ad police dogs were there like every five ten minutes. I mean, even here, you know, keep in mind to get into right now, we're like in the media center and the media workroom, and you know, if you kind of walk outside to radio row, you can't go like five ten feet without some dogs sniffing. You right. So they're everywhere. Kind of funny thing actually, the bathrooms are on the far end of the radio. Oh row there against the wall. And even that is kind of like barricade in says credential required. I guess you got to you need a credential to to go answer nature's call is this like a big convention center where you at. Yeah. It's like a convention center. I'm not exactly sure what this is. I should know. But I just blindly followed my colleagues in here because that's what I do. Sometimes it just blindly follow people. I kinda like that Dylan Hernandez is out of his comfort zone that you don't know where you're at what you're gonna do are you gonna write every single day. Probably. I mean, you know, we're I think we're pretty flexible, but I think that's more or less the plan. Yes. So I mean, I got you know, I have some ideas. I got some tricks up my sleeve, I think so do you know anything about the Rams? Yeah. I mean, I was I was there in training camp. You know, I think I wrote I don't know two three columns. I know you've been around. No. But do you know anything about 'em? Yeah. You don't have your pulse on them. Right. You don't know every knickknack? We'll they're running. Okay. Well, I can see the running back. Has messed up, and that's probably what they're gonna lose your really calling them. Okay. Right, right. Dylan Hernandez Super Bowl. "So I kind of agree with? With Dylan Hernandez who said that the dodgers. Oh their fans Bryce Harper. I think they do. I mean, you know, what the driven town, man. The one thing about UCLA was he I four eight a totally solid season last year both defensively and ofensive -ly. He had a really good postseason. He hit that big home run in the Washington series. Not the Washington who who's the first on the Braves series and won that game. And he was the guy who was the fun. He was the guy who is licking his bat. He was the guy who is running. I third. He was the guy that was making laser throws mean he was one of the guys you wanted to see and was fun to watch. And he's gone now. I can't say that any of the current dodgers mean collectively, they're fun to watch. Because it's a really good team. But there's no real star in the bunch. I mean Walker here's another question. I have for you guys. I agree with that. By the way, everything you just said. I think Dylan and you're right. If opening day was tomorrow. Who starts Walker bueller or Clayton Kershaw? Well, I think I think Walker Buehler's got better stuff. But I do think there's the the dodgers would would start Clayton Kershaw. What do you think? Greg. Clayton Kershaw will be starting in my mind. Yeah. It's weird that everybody thinks what Mason just said everyone thinks it Walker Bieler has better stuff at this stage of their careers, yet Kershaw gets grandfathered in you know, it's weird. He started basically every the last seven or eight opening days, and he's still a guy that you need to be believed that he is the ace and he's still teaching Walker Beulah. But sooner or later, I can pivot to something that kind of has to do with this or we up against it or we are three minutes. Okay. So I want to I'm going to do a pivot here. Okay. Did you guys? The second round of all star votes that were released by the NBA. Oh, yeah. No. I didn't see him. Okay. So here's the front court in the Western Conference Chen. Number one, vocab her LeBron James, two point seven million votes. Number. Two Luca Dante, wow is captured lightning in a bottle to point to number three Paul George who's having an all star season one point eight. So the fans get fifty percent of the vote than the players in the league get involved, and then they decide on starters. But if the fans like if it was like, it wasn't the old days if the fans got to decide or like it is in baseball. It would be LeBron Dante and Paul George on the frontline. Wow. Kevin Durant is fourth. Why why has Kevin Durant dropped in popularity? Why do you guys think? Well, I think Donncha which is the new thing. I I think in very by the way, the fans that are really good job here. Paul George seven a great. You're good for him. He's right there near the top Durant. I think we take for granted what we see all the time, by the way, Anthony Davis v. I think don't you think the more we see a player the more. We take him for granted. But I think when he moved to the super team he became less popular if like, oh, really you're going there. And then add in the fact that while Steph curry was out they were losing games of. So his value for the team. All right. Let me throw another. Let me throw another one at you. Kate here are against so you get three front courts, and you get to back court positions for the five starters k the guard leaning back court guard in the west is Steph curry number two is Derrick rose who's having a really weird like breakthrough season high fifty points. Number three is James. Harden, who by any measure is the best player in the NBA this year. Yep. Why is he third? Why don't people like him? I think there are people that don't like harden because he gets too many fouls. Yeah. Because a he fakes too many fouls. He's a foul faker. And by the way, he's only he's less than two hundred thousand votes ahead of Russell Westbrook. He's almost fourth because he's on the ground every other play. He's fouled every play..

"I mean to me the better deal is six years to forty million ear instead of thirty million a year, and you could go back after three years to get an opt out, you could go back and get more and makes total sense. But I think the the perception of having that beating that tenure three twenty five spite your face the perception shouldn't out rule what the better deal is in the better deal. It'd be forty million a year instead of thirty million talk to Scott Boris. That's just what he's got it at the end of the day of those were his two choices Scott's pretty practical and pretty smart and a port. And according to all reports also is that that first ten year three hundred million was not the first deal that was that was only the first deal they actually offered more on top of that later on and just hasn't been reported out. We'll have a couple of podcast for you. First Dylan, Hernandez and Bill are gonna give us the dodgers perspective from a columnist view where they have outside world where they're thinking of the fans are thinking of the front office or taking what the dodgers could possibly do next season. And then later on this week partout, we're gonna go with the beat writer and McCullough who was with the team since spring training Bill. Shaken the national baseball columnist and hordic steal the new dodger beat writer who came over in the middle season, but was covering the dodgers in the World Series. Interesting to hear the perspective from those. He writers whether every single day. But right now, the state of the dodgers as you'd Dylan Hernandez and Bill Paschke. Dodger fans ain't no not again, not again, not again for the second straight year. Wait to say not again to Dylan implant, you're on the podcast. They don't wanna hear us again. They're not ready for this. For the second straight year dodger fans see the visiting team. Celebrate at SHA. Vez ravine last year Astros game seven this year. The Red Sox sT final score five the one same. Final score a Bill. Because I don't have to work. So I really don't pay like if you watch that Astros game. But all this time. I was convinced they lost seventeen nothing or something. Just because of like how Darvish got blown out of the water. It was only five one. Yeah. It was five to one. Mr darvish. No apology. That's the most. We do not oh, Mr. Darvish at apology. That is the voice of Bill plash key, legendary LA times columnists and recently new columnist Dylan Hernandez for a while that recent how long have you been years couple, quite legendary huge impact. Have you? Join their Bill. How many we'll have you covered. Oh my God up. Just the dodgers. Just general general all my gosh. I don't even think about it over twenty twenty some twenty-five maybe on Dylan to your over to. Yeah. No. You covered beat is. No, no. You never win. I went through the NFC s. Okay. A couple of times the giants clinch to go to the world's the world's. Okay. That's right. So Bill Plaski how many dodgers World Series? Have you seen victory? Oh, one eight hundred eighty eight. Than it a tire story. It's unbelie it's what it's it's unbelievable that it's been since eighty eight it's just thinkable just put it this way or Hershiser is sixty years old in he was last winning pitcher in a world city ended World Series game for the dodgers. And he's sixty now that's how long it's been when you think back at this season, and we're not going to go and just start beating down on the team. And they're like, it's an accomplishment to get to the World Series. I back to back and forty years, but it's still disappointing. Is it a failure? What's the word describe this season Dylan? Well, I think here's the thing is that the league was bad the entirely was down like they should have gotten back. You know, in the fact that they got back with that team to me honestly shows how bad the NFL was probably the best five six for coming from the the American League to me the word is actually negligent..

"Talked about both the things that we talked about key the number one that I can thrive in a makes me wanna work harder hearing somebody like LeBron say that about my game and the other party goes, you don't want to let him down. He takes so much attention. This is, and I think Lonzo is going to benefit from this as well. Yeah, more Lonzo in Ingram, in particular, are gonna benefit because Lonzo is the second pick Ingram was the second pick. And with that comes a massive expectation, those guys can for the first time since they're in the league, kind of be guys that just about working on their game and getting better because lebrons the one, everybody's paying. One thing that I would, I would say the Lonzo don't listen to the silly people that don't know anything. Listen to the people that had no don't get caught up in. You shouldn't miss do it your way. Not a don't. Don't do it. Dodgers jumped up Ackerman one to nothing last night on the Braves game to come today. We'll talk with Dylan Hernandez who covers the dodgers for the times we'll get his thoughts on Clayton Kershaw being putting that number two spot that's coming up. Next came number two at Dodger Stadium coming up later today. Day the dodgers win game one last night. Six to nothing, far hands. I eighty dodger general manager. He's going to be joining us at about nine twenty nine thirty. There it in between there, ninety cools anyone who's peanuts hand will be joining us then that is coming up just about an hour from right now to make sure that you check that out. Let's go. Are you guys doing? Good man. We enjoy last night. We watched a game, obviously six to none. You on the mound. Blew him away. We manufactured runs not just homers. We walked got got on base again away. I tried to tell us guys here. I say, look, man, we, we got a manufacturers, oh, their home, run hitting Tiki is calling a three run home run manufacturer. That's right. We got guys on base. They did go keep in mind earlier this season. They did go through like a one month stretch where every home run they hit was a solo home run. True. You know, getting on Bay. I mean, it is important. You know, it's I wouldn't quite call that manufacturing Horon, but I totally get where he's coming from stay. They're getting guys on base, you know the cause that turns the, you know, it goes from one run being two or three rub things so..

"Michael did the math. He just sat needs to average like twenty four points a game during his Laker contract and he would do, is that right? Yeah, he has to go five more years or last year would have been the first of it right for years. Maybe it's twenty five game and he passes. That's unbelievable. You know, last year he's averaging thirty. So. He's, he's if you've never seen him playing person. He's unbelievable. He's got is in the back of his head. And here's the thing that you don't know until you see him. He six nine to seventy five and not fat, right? So he just looks like a tank and he's got great balance and speed. Everybody else Leger it's not the same. Kobe. Kobe was a was a great score. You know, could score from anywhere LeBron is right the washing now, you know, it's a completely different animal. These gonna make the other guys better. Well, I think that, yeah, I think he's absolutely going to make the other guys better. If you've ever seen, did you do you remember the the pre-game workout that they showed somebody somebody videoed the pre-game work and I was on Instagram before the game. He's kneeling on the balanced ball and they're throwing them a medicine ball back and forth. His core strength is just ridiculous. Okay. And that's what he does before the game yet. Here's something that's. To me LeBron spends one point five million a year. Yep. On fitness on Kreil on tree. It's crab chamber in his house on personal trainers on fitness equipment. I mean, so you know, everybody says, says these guys make millions very few of them do this. It's it's unbelievable. All right. Hey, Ryan Abraham net yet, right. UNC football, what's up? It was Saturday USC football. Scrimmage. I for scrimmage for the Trojans. So game like environment and the the Trojans have had a three way quarterback battle between Matt Fink and Jack Sears and super freshman. JT Daniels and Daniels was unbelievable in the scrimmage by all accounts. In fact, let's see. No less than Dylan Hernandez wrote this. He said, go ahead, believe the hype US's JT Daniels shows he's ready to compete at quarterback Daniels in the game, was ten of twelve passing with four touchdowns. Three of them to guy played high school ball with. At mater dei Amman raw, Saint Brown. That's probably a connection. We're gonna see a lot this year assuming and it seems safe to assume that JT Daniels is going to be the quarterback. Let's ask Ryan Abraham from USC football dot com. Hey, ryen what's up..

"His options in free agency next summer. If you don't think you can win a championship or or or at least make a huge push in the Western Conference in the next two or three years, or if you think Jimmy Butler is gonna leave, you should be shopping him this summer, and so I'm gonna flip it around to you guys, if and I know this would never happen because Thompson, but, oh, and Jimmy Butler are attached at the hip and tips would never make this call. But if it were Phil Mackey in the front office and he got a hold of Tom does office and desk and he called rob Pelinka and right now and said Jimmy Butler. He's on the block rented and coup. Who's my interested in Ingram? How does that conversation end up? I don't think they hang up the phone. Phil, I think they would listen, but I think a lot would depend on whether or not they felt they could sign Butler long term. I think if Butler is definitely going to free agency at the end of this year, they're so high on Kouzmin Ingram, and those guys are on cost controlled, rookie contracts that I think they would hesitate, Mike. What are you not only that look. We just went through this whole thing with why. If you think somebody's coming in, it's going to be one of these guys for free next year. Don't give up. Yeah, so that's that's the position. Maybe the Lakers are in fill that I'm not sure every team is in where they think somebody's gonna come without having to go with the guy so that that's the trick there. If you're the wolves and there's even a fifty percent chance, Jimmy Butler leaves in this Western Conference is so loaded. Take a step back and go get some young assets and wait and wait until the warriors go away. But I don't think they're going to. They're going to run head on into into like an eight or nine seat. Of battle at the end of the year, like they were last year unfortunately, fill, I'll be, I'll be Texan. You when does his next seventeen home runs in for the rest of the month in Greg bubbly comes on board with the mood, but we appreciate your time buddy. Thank you. Phil, that's feel macking, Minnesota. We coming up. We're gonna talk about the Rams. Dylan Hernandez, who was a columnist for the Los Angeles Times has written a column. Simply sing this. If Aaron Donald does not come into camp in the next week. Dump him trade him. Don't risk your Super Bowl season. Is that a good move or a terrible move? We'll get into it next ESPN LA. But Mason in Ireland, Mike Dell's in for Mace, got fasttrack coming at the top of the hour. Want to talk about the Rams. Mike, the Rams, and they've made a secret of this are going for it this year. They went out and got into Dhamma consume. They went out and got Marcus Peters. They went out and got to keep to leave. They went out and got Brandin cooks. They signed Todd Gurley to a long term deal. But their best player the best player in the team. Aaron, Donald is holding out. He held out last year. Chances are if they don't reach a long term deal, he'll hold out next year. That's just kind of the way it happens. But Dylan Hernandez rightfully times has written a column that says. I'll just read you guys part of it. It says the question isn't whether Donald deserves to be paid like a high end quarterback. He won't be can't be the NFL has salary cap. The Rams would be unwise to have more than twenty five million invested in a defensive tackle regardless of how dominant he is. The real question is whether Donald will exercise the only leverage at his disposal, extend his hold out into the regular season and compromise everything the Rams of build over the last year. And if he does dump him more specifically trade him..

"So yeah, but it it does seem like that's the growing sentiment in Rodrigues. Great point, Rich. Paul did say that last week, like non is the basketball decision. And I think in the long term, it is a basketball decision because I think that LeBron James is one of the most competitive people on the planet, so I'm not. I'm not going to in dismiss that. I just think it is interesting that amongst his peers that seems to be the sentiment that there you know, for lack of a better phrase punting on this season, at least right now based on what the roster looks like. That's the way the guys that play in the league seem to understand that. But I think that they're, you know, you gotta let it play out because they do got a bunch of young guys that can play man, it's it's just gonna, keep getting better and growing. That's why they have bringing in veteran guys that could teach those young guys, what it's like to be in a playoff atmosphere. Just in case they get their that have one championship for being in deep runs. I know everybody laugh. Mckee shack, shackled food, but he's been in proposed season game. You know Stevens polcies. In games Rondo postseason Jane's postseason so you know what to expect salad lake. Balboa Sal. Good morning. Good. Thanks guys. You know, last night or Lakers line was a real interesting point. I believe the Lakers lost like ten or twelve games by five points or less last season. So you're right, it's kids can play. Now you bring LeBron James in got your closer. They could potentially be ten to twelve games better right now. Well, they'll be ten to twelve games better because LeBron gives you that. I think LeBron if you really look at where LeBron has made an impact, I think the team he went to that had the least increase in wins was Miami. I think they were like plus eleven, but they had twain weight already in his prime at that time. So the the increase was going to be smaller than it was when he went back to Cleveland, the two times he was in Cleveland. So I do think that LeBron even at this stage of his career is worth probably somewhere between thirteen and fifteen games. So I think. Acres will be close to a fifty win team this year. I it see. The interesting thing is if you look at it and and if you look at it for Brown, wasn't here in the team, basically stayed the same with Randall in everything and everything was healthy. They would have been knocking on the door of a six, seven, eight c in my belief because they would have gotten another. What are they? Would they finish thirty thirty five, six, something like that. They could have gotten another ten wins right with the mocking healthy. Ten wins wouldn't have gotten them in the playoffs last year though. 'cause it was forty. Seven I believe got showcase, oh, give him give him fifteen more win, right? So that's out of Matic now will LeBrun automatic. I would say they're LeBron this stage is worth thirteen to fifteen with because when was the last time, what was the last time the Brian James Hattie, awful team that people look at and say, he's gonna miss the playoffs win. Was he like twelve years old? Probably his first or second year in Clinton when he was like twelve years old. Yeah, that was a long time coming up at eight o'clock, the Lakers. Have their own version of a death lineup that's been put out there to potentially rival Golden State. We'll tell you what that is at eight but Dylan Hernandez of the LA times columnists. He's got a story this morning about you may be seeing the end of Clayton Kershaw dodgers uniform. We'll ask him about that coming up in just a second. Welcome to the thirty second annual circus awards here like this music. I mean KOMO it's very cares. Yeah. Yeah. Sounds like some that do we put video not a video game, but a game show host. Dylan Hernandez LA times columnist got the story this morning about Clayton Kershaw. We want to discuss with him. He's in Milwaukee for many Machado's debut will start there. Dylan. The addition was made how much more dangerous does the addition of Manny Machado? Make the dodgers offense and make make them defensively when he's in the field? Well, I think you know it gives them a kind of a reliable, consistent bad..

But before that key Kevin Durant praises the bronze move to the Lakers says, quote. What happened? No, I'm waiting for you to spread. Some germs says, I think a really great ones like LeBron have the opportunity to pick both have a great basketball environment, but also live in a place to help his business in advance. He's earned the right to make those decisions now it does. It is interesting though that everybody supposed to do, but if he's a free agent, everybody's like he said he, he, everyone talks about the business part of everyone because their right to because posted well, they're saying well, because I think it's strange, right?.
